Toilet and bathtub were filling with water. Called Connell Plumbing, second time I've used them and had the same tech, Nate. Awesome guy and very knowledgeable. Rodded out the sewer and even went in with a camera, he even showed me the lines. Katy was very helpful on the phone too. Great business to work with.

We'd been dealing with one bathroom out of commission since moving. We'd tried home remedies to getting the sink and tub unclogged with no success. We saw Tim Stefl Plumbing was local and very close to our home. After leaving a voicemail, I heard back within a day with an appointment set for next day. Plumber showed within the quoted time and even offered to check on our toilet which was initially out of the intended scope. We had a working bathroom again within an hour and at a reasonable price! Would happily recommend and use their service again!

I was going to hang my own Laundry room cabinets but chickened out and hired KBN.  I'm really glad I did as they're installed properly, including the side trim pieces. Pricing was very fair- and they quoted a price instead of just an hourly rate.  

They even broke down all the cardboard boxes and cleaned up when they were done.  I'd definitely use them again.

We had a kitchen sink that was backing up and tried the standard plunging and Drano without success.  D & L answered the Yelp quote quickly and on a Sunday morning and on top of that came out within an hour without an emergency fee and took care of the problem.  This is not normal, and it's exceptional service.

We had a waste line back up in our house on a Friday night, so we called Stephens as our prior plumbing service is out of business. Received a quick return call (within minutes) from Chris. Rather than say, We'll be right there for what would be a very expensive service, he asked some questions and gave some directions on trying to see if there was a quick DIY remedy. With the assistance of a friend, I cleared (at least partially) some blockage in the outside line where we determined the issue to be.  Saturday morning, line was all clear (so it seemed), but still called Tony and scheduled professional rodding of the line.  Glad we did, because we had another leak on Thursday afternoon prior to our Friday appointment. Chris was here promptly at 8:40 and finished rodding the line by 9:25 removing expected tree roots for what is a flat $300 service.  Very professional, efficient and did not try to push any other services on us. We truly appreciated they did not try to take advantage of an urgent situation by rushing us into emergency services at a high cost to us, and it was for these reasons that we've made them our new plumbing contractors!

Augustine responded very quickly when my in-laws were having issues with an upstairs toilet.  He came out same day and when it turned to be a simple issue, he didn't charge a service visit fee and showed them how to fix it and maintain it.  They really appreciated his honesty because they are retired and on a fixed income.  Thank you!

Tom is awesome. I've used him and his team for several projects and have always been super happy with his work. He responds very fast and is very affordable. We will definitely be using him again when needed.

Whiting Plumbing does quality work for a reasonable price!  They don't advertise too much so you must have been referred to them by family or friends.  Lane is knowledgeable and prompt!  We've used Whiting Plumbing to re-pipe our old house with new copper pipes, put in a new higher toilet, unclog and put a new wax ring on our upstairs toilet, and complete the plumbing when we installed a new tub!  He also installed a new wash tub and faucet in the basement and installed a new faucet in the kitchen!  I feel Lane is honest and reliable.  I would recommend Whiting Plumbing to anyone who needs a plumbing problem solved!

Since moving into This Old House 2 1/2 years ago we've found issues left and right that needed fixing.   For almost that entire length of time, our upstairs toilet was out of commission.  The downstairs one always had to have the handle held to flush completely.  Also we discovered a leak in the basement everytime we flushed it.   The kitchen faucet was constantly leaking.  The basement laundry basin was nonfunctional and in recent months the upstairs sink kept getting clogged.    In short it was a mess.

Of course we had to prioritize that against old gutters, inefficient windows, an old radiator, and general maintenance.   To top it off I was laid off last September.   So money of course was as Simply Red would sing..too tight to mention.    Yep showing my age.

Things thankfully turned around for the time being and we finally were able to tackle the plumbing this summer.

I searched Yelp and Chalmers was among the three I reached out to.   One I didn't hear back from and Chalmers and another company reached back saying to contact for more details.

I read the Yelp reviews of the remaining contender and those scared me off.  I saw Chalmers had all positive  (albeit only a few).  

I took a chance and am glad I did.  David was courteous on phone as I detailed all that needed to be done.  I scheduled a free estimate and he came by promptly as D showed him our situation.

The price he came back with seemed pretty fair so I agreed to have him do the work.    He finished everything on my laundry list within 2 hours.   It ended up for the toilets that both had shoddy work on the wax ring which caused the leaking.    Replacing the toilets and putting the wax ring properly solved the leaking issue.  He was very professional and through during the whole visit.    And I was very pleased with the results.

David's the real deal.  If you need any kind of plumbing work, take a chance on him.   Flush the rest...LOL.

These guys were great! came over during a somewhat emergency, fixed what was needed to get me through, then scheduled the rest of the work. They practically ran in, assessed the issue, fixed it and were out in 15minutes for the first issue. Then had another minor emergency, then came back for the scheduled work. They were great!

Used to be good, but newer staff are young, inexperienced, and trying to up sell. Found out after the fact that i've been charged for years for something i didn't need (TWO batteries in sump pump). also had someone out for a quote and ended up getting charged. will not use again.

Submitted a request on Sunday and Jeff responded quickly scheduling for Monday. The price was quoted, and Jeff was on time. He got to work unclogging the sink and we discovered the clog was further down the line, and went to work cleaning it out from the basement. Jeff remained calm, professional, and got the clog removed, while also teaching g me a thing or two. Jeff even looked at something else, continued the education, and quoted me for another job. When it came time to pay the price charged was the agreed upon price even though he was here longer than either of us expected. I've had my eyes ripped out by plumbers in the past, but I now feel confident that I found a company that will charge a fair price for fair work.

This is the first time using this company and the service was great!!  Called in the  morning and Mr. Travis was here by early afternoon. He is professional and knowledgeable.  If you're in need of quality plumbing services at a fair price, he's your man.  Would definitely call again.

This company is excellent.  I had an emergency happen and Karl showed up to take a look within 15 minutes of my phone call.  I had used their services once before and was happy with their pricing and work.  He calmed me down explaining what needed to be done and his crew was at my house at 8 am next day.  Roland is a very expert plumber, honest and down to earth.  I am so happy to have them as my plumbers.  I trust them implicitly.

They were timely and diligent. Gave us notice when they were on their way, cleaned up behind themselves, and walked us through what was happening, and left us with a little advice for maintenance in the future.

During the huge freeze we got, I was calling everyone.  I spoke to the manager at four seasons to get someone out ASAP.  Fortunately, they had a guy come out and the manager gave me his personal cell phone. They got the job done real quick.  I left the wall open for it to dry out and they had a carpenter come out and seal it back up.  They even came back the next day to reinstall the disposal that they removed without charging extra to come out (Rogers park). Glad I didn't get the same service as some other folks.  They were really big on service and wanted to make sure I was happy. Looks like they listen to feedback.  Unlike some posts, I'd call them again.

We recently used J. Blanton for a disposal repair. We were told it can't be repaired, it had to be replaced. The price was incredibly high. I paid it because I didn't get a quote. My bad.

Got a quote at that time to replace two failing wall valves to a 1/4 turn valve for a toilets. I was told it would be more cost effective to do all the valves in the condo. One quote was around $800 for 2 valves or  $1970 for all remaining 9 valves.

We waited over a year to do the job because of the price. When we called back to ask if the quote was still good, they said no, that they needed another plumber to come out and look at it. So this young man showed up, he had such a bad attitude, asking us why he was there if we already had a quote, I immediately asked him to leave. He got the hint that he was being unprofessional and he straightened up real quick and offered to do the quote.

Same quote came back to us. I wasn't comfortable with the price or the guy with the bad attitude. We checked another plumber our building uses. Glad I did!

He just did the two failing valves for $275, FOR BOTH VALVES! Was super cool, in and out in under 40min. (Try Moody plumbing instead!)
