I called Premo Electric, on a Monday, and they were able to come out the next morning. Naill texted before his arrival, and even asked if he could start early! He asked a few questions to assess the situation, and then quickly went to work.

Naill's got skills. He finished the job in less than 1 hour, and you'd never know he was there except now our ceiling fan is working again.

I had an excellent experience with Premo. Their initial reach out procedure is a bit unorthodox (I had to fill out a couple of questions on their website before speaking with anyone, but after that, I was always able to get someone on the phone), but everyone I spoke to and worked with--from Richard, to Niall & Peter who performed the work--was great.

I just bought a house and needed a Tesla wall connector installed. After several calls with Richard, during which I asked many, many questions, we determined that I needed a second subpanel. Richard gave me an estimate, scheduled an appointment quickly, and sent me friendly reminders about my appointment. This morning, Niall and Peter arrived exactly on time. They communicated to me what they were planning to do, where they recommend installing the Tesla wall connector, and what circuits they would be moving to a second subpanel. The job was obviously huge because Niall and Peter were working continuously for most of the day. When they were done, my boondoggle of a panel system was re-labeled correctly, the second subpanel looked great, my Tesla wall connector looked great, they had patched up the drywall, and they honored the original estimate, despite that the project was obviously huge and bigger than originally anticipated.

Niall and Peter are very skilled electricians, and they are hard-working and a pleasure to work with too. I would highly recommend Premo Electric to anyone in need of any electric services.

I cannot recommend Premo Electric enough! On 12/23/2022, I had a major emergency with a burned outlet that caught fire in my home. I called Premo Electric in a panic, and they were able to dispatch one of their electricians, Sean, to my home within a matter of hours.

From the moment Sean arrived, I could tell he was a true professional. He immediately assessed the situation and identified the problem as a faulty outlet. He then replaced it with a GFCI outlet, a proper one, and carefully checked the rest of my electrical system to ensure there were no other issues.

What impressed me most about Sean was his attention to detail. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and why, and he made sure to double-check his work before he left. I have never felt so confident and reassured by an electrician before.

I am so grateful to Premo Electric and Sean for saving the day and preventing further damage to my home. They truly went above and beyond in their service, and I will definitely be using them for all of my future electrical needs. Five stars is not enough for this fantastic company - they deserve a ten!

The two electricians (one whose name was Christian) were courteous at all times. They called to let us know when they were on their way. They asked for our preferences and also made suggestions but ultimately helped us feel that we were being listened to. We are thoroughly enjoying our two TVs now that they are installed high on the wall with new outlets behind. Both electricians were quick and efficient. i very rarely leave reviews, and this company is how I wish all companies would treat clients. We are planning to update some lighting in our home and are looking forward to asking them to come back to help us with our next house project.

Part 7 in The House That Yelp Built. After 2 prior electricians and $3000 to give me power in half of the house I just bought, my handyman walked in and boom, no power. I was about to lose my mind. Last night I hit up Yelp. Premo replied first. They had great reviews. And would be there in less than 24 hours.

Due to my prior electrician trauma, I'm sure I was a bit intense, telling them, I don't care if you have to build a damn power plant outside my house or rip out my ceilings, I just need it to work, for real, not for five minutes. They still showed up. Lol.

Niall was absolutely fantastic! He was so helpful and explained everything and finished within about 2 hours. He tried out everything to see if it would work .... for more than 10 seconds.

I was soooo impressed w this company. I will definitely be using them again.

You know how some people always got a guy they trust to take care of them for services and repairs??? Premo is my guy!!!

I'm just now writing this review however Niall has helped me on numerous occasions... We moved into our home in '20 and have had various electrical wiring issues from previous remodels.

Premo pricing was on par, if not lower then competitors. More importantly, Niall was straight shooter on everything. Trustworthy dude, not looking to rip you off or work on things that dont need fixing. I trust these guys and will always count on them for my home electric needs!

I used this company for the second time. I first used them in 2020 to install ceiling fans. This year I moved and had three ceiling fans to be installed and wiring done. Also some outlets needed to be replaced and a switch cover and outlet in the bathroom needed to be done.

These guys are fantastic. These are my go to guys when I want something done with quality. I never have to be worried about the electrical being done sloppy. These guys look out for the best for their customers. They will be honest about what the recommend. For instance they could have told me more things needed to be done or some things needed to be replaced but they would say it's not necessary to save me some money.

I got more jobs to do in my current house and will definitely hire them to do it.

First experience with Premo, and I'm very pleased to say it was fantastic from start to finish! We had the team of Niall & Peter out to create J boxes (run lines) to install ceiling fans in two rooms. They were both very professional & knowledgeable. Christian and Sean did a great job installing two outdoor electrical boxes. They made sure each box had its own breaker and was weatherproofed.

It was not an easy install, as they had to crawl under the house to run wires from the electrical panel to the outlets.

They called me to let me know they were on the way. They arrived on time, and they got the job done efficiently. Both of them were very courteous and easy to work with.

I can't recommend this company enough. I saw them listed on a Tesla forum where they helped install some Tesla Wall chargers. I've been driving Teslas for over 10 years and my Wall charger broke and I ordered a new one and inquired about how much they would charge to install the new one. They quickly replied within 10 minutes.

I didn't even have a chance to use them for that as I'm waiting for the delivery from Tesla of the Generation 3 charger. But in the meantime last night I had a circuit blow in my garage. The GFCI socket wouldn't reset. I tried all the switches and George called me back from my email within 5 minutes and even had me send photos of my fusebox.

I believe it was Richard that called me the following morning to tell me that there was indeed a fuse switch that needed to be reset. (He could see in the photos that I emailed them that one breaker was slightly tripped and needed to be reset). I already called another electrician in the meantime that came out to the house but I was so impressed that they would help a stranger that didn't even pay them anything.

The work ethic they have responding to emails and calls ASAP and also offering to take a look at photos shows the heart and soul of this company that puts the customer first and really wants to help them.

I can't recommend them enough and I look forward to using them once my Tesla wall charger arrives.

George and Richard came up with the plan then Niall showed up and did the job with some improvisation. Very impressed with Premo. Called for an estimate and to have 1 job done immediately. They had availability within just a few days. I appreciated the email confirmation as well as a text letting me know when to expect them. Niall came a few days later, installed new lights and took info for a quote on a few other lights I wanted installed and upgraded. He had great suggestions for the projects that really improved the outcome. The estimate arrived in a very timely fashion with a very fair price. Niall came back with Peter to complete the work. Premo Electric was able to get me into their schedule in a timely manner and was quick to respond to all of my questions about adding an extra circuit for AC.
On the actual day of the job, Sean and Christian helped us with running an AC circuit, they were professional, efficient and communicative. A few weeks later there was an issue with my EV charger, they came out to take a look on the day we called them with issues about our EV charger. I spoke with Richard and he sent a gentleman out to diagnose the issue which basically revolves around loose wires. Issue was fixed right there and then at no extra costs/charges. Called Premo Electric during business hours and call was immediately answered and service was reserved with email confirmation. Niell arrived earlier than my appointment as agreed and was efficient in troubleshooting my unconventional electrical outdoor gfci configuration. My first experience with Premo was over ten years ago. I found George online, and he was nice enough to come over on short notice in the evening to our condo to help figure out what happened after my husband changed out a couple outlets and shut off the electricity (turned out to be crossed wires).

Fast forward to this week when we got a new range that needed a new outlet. I was glad to find George again this time on Yelp with many satisfied customers. I called and spoke with Richard who asked me to send a picture of where and what I needed. Once he reviewed he quickly scheduled Christian to come over. I called and left message to get a quote on installing an EV Charger for my new Ford Mach E. A few hours later I get a text back and phone call. They sent a questionaire to ask me several important questions about the status of where I wanted it placed, what type of vehicle, pictures of the electrical box; everything they would need to give you an accurate quote and correct scope of work to be performed. Within 24 hours, I received the quote.

Their flexibility to schedule the appointment was important and I chose them over other quotes. Their quote was within the estimates I had received from others.

Niall came at the appointed window time. It was a scorcher out there. I let him know I would be in a zoom meeting as sometimes working from home and let him know where I wanted the charging unit installed. Took him a cold glass of lemonade and Niall started the work. Within an hour and half, he completed the job. He made sure I checked to make sure the charger would charge my Mach E. We have (2) electric vehicles. Everything working perfectly as they installed a 40 amp breaker giving me 32 amp charge which is sufficient for my Mach E with extended range of over 300 miles per charge.

I was very impressed with the work, the professionalism by everyone at Premo Electric and by our installed Niall. It was a hot day and the sun was glaring down at him.

I highly recommend Premo Electric and will pass along their cards to friends and associates.

I called them because of all their 5-star reviews and now I'm adding my own. Can't speak highly enough of Christian and Sean who came to fix our outdoor GFCI outlets. After the major rainfall we had in SD, our outdoor outlets got rusty and corroded. They came on schedule and quickly diagnosed and fixed our outlets. They were super friendly to boot. We requested a quote to upgrade our panels and install a Tesla wall charger. Will absolutely call them when we're ready to do the upgrade.

Niall was so wonderful to work with. I was driving a long distance to help out a friend who needed some work done on their home. I called Premo Electric with the hope they would be able to get our task list done. The day before our visit I got a call that one of the electricians would not be able to come so we would have to get it done with one guy which made me nervous. One guy means more time which can mean more money. Niall was GREAT. He showed up right on time, was almost done with everything after 2 hours and even took on an extra task that we weren't sure we would have the time for. Happy, satisfied customer here! I know next-to-nothing about electricity so when I had trouble with power outages randomly happening throughout the house, I finally overcame my apprehension and decided I needed the help of an electrician. I found Premo Electric online. Their site is very well laid-out, informative and reassuring, and the fact that their Yelp reviews blow the other guys out of the water made it an easy decision to call them.
I spoke to Richard at the office who listened patiently, discussed some possible causes (moisture, faulty wiring, worn-out hardware, etc.) and made an appointment for me. Niall arrived right on time and I showed him the areas I was having problems with. He very quickly determined the cause of the outages being worn-out GFCI outlets, worked quickly and efficiently while being cordial and pleasant, explaining what he was doing, in language I could understand. He installed several quality outlets to replace the older, cheaper ones installed by the home builder 16 years ago.
Maybe it was just part of the job and probably wasn't the biggest project he had to work on, but Niall still made me feel like a valued customer and almost like an old friend. I will definitely use Premo Electric the next time I need any service, and will request Niall as my electrician.

I wanted to get an estimate to replace an old SDGE old panel and upgrade to a 200 amp panel.
The person that answered the phone was rude and brief and wasn't interested! The minute I mentioned that a trench is needed he couldn't wait to hang up and said they don't do trenching. By the way the trenching is a very short run and not in the public right of way and all work would be in dirt and a cut in a concrete driveway. I respect and understand that some electricians don't wanna deal with trenching and multiple agencies, but you can always decline professionally and respectfully. This is not about their workmanship because I don't know that, it's all about the first interaction.

After getting an estimate from George and Richard, I had a Tesla Wall Connector installed by Christian and Peter. Christian called ahead, prior to arriving within the time window they predicted. They quickly evaluated the situation and selected the most advantageous route for the cabling throuh my garage in order to install the device at the location I selected. They were pleasant to work with and completed the installation without having to cut power to my home. The final price was within the estimated window.

I have used Premo Electric several times over the past few years for various jobs, from switching light fixtures from halogen to LED, installing under cabinet kitchen lighting, exchanging pendant lighting, to installing an outlet in a walk in closet. Today I had three picture light fixtures traded out for LED lights. From Richard taking the order and assisting me with what would be needed, to Shawn snd Christian doing the actual work/installation, I could not have asked for a better experience. Shawn and Christian called thirty minutes in advance, were at my home as scheduled, did a beautiful and clean job and were very professional and friendly. I expected nothing less, due to every one of my past experiences with Premo. I can't say enough good about them. I highly recommend them. The outlet for my kitchen fridge and microwave (on same one) went bad, and circuit breaker lever is floppy and won't snap back, like the working ones. So I borrowed extension cord and plugged fridge and microwave in another outlet, and now that outlet is dead and another breaker lever has same floppy problem and remains dead.

I am only assuming the floppy breaker levers correspond to the now 2 kitchen outlets that don't work. I had to use toaster oven in bathroom outlet. I am afraid another circuit breaker lever will go bad. Of course I need my fridge to get secure power, but it keeps breaking another breaker lever.

So then I Yelped for quotes from solid 5 star electricians and Premo Electric called right away.

I resolved my breaker matter, when Premo Electric called to tell me to make sure I pushed down HARD on the tripped lever that was floppy. I did, HARD then heard the snap (which Premo heard the snap when he was on the phone directing me) and now the two breakers are working right.

Thank you Premo for saving me the money for a wasted service trip. Now I know to press down HARDER till I hear the snap at the bottom, before flipping back up.

I really struggled with finding a local company to do electrical work at my house. Lots wouldn't respond after talking to me on the phone.
Premo was the opposite. I was able to call and send emails and quickly get scheduled for everything I needed done.

Niall and Peter came to my house for installing an EV charger, installing recessed lighting, installing an outdoor plug, and troubleshooting a weird bathroom fixture. They always wore booties inside and cleaned up well after they were done.

They have set pricing for every job, which I think makes it slightly more expensive, but I was willing to pay more to get the work done in a timely manner.

We needed to get a wall charger installed. The first company stated we needed to add a sub-panel as our panel was sort of full. The price for that was crazy, and didn't even cover the cost of the charger installation. Called a few people, left messages, sent emails, etc. I got a response from about 25%, with one company saying (via a person who called me) it would be about 1-2 days before a rep would reach out to discuss it further (I mean, it's a wall charger!).
Premo (George) called me back right away, sent an email questionnaire (just a few questions), which I completed that evening. He called back the following morning and we got the job scheduled the next day for 1/3 or what I had been quoted before. No sub-panel required - just a few breakers to rearrange.
Niall came out and did the installation of the charger - showed up on time (texted beforehand he was on the way), in and out in 1.5 hours at the agreed upon price. Super clean and professional. Went through the changes he made on the panel - all good! Highly recommend these folks.

We recently contacted Premo Electric to install 3 ceiling fans in our new condo. Richard at the main office lined us up with Niall (Nile) and his able assistant Peter for the work.

With Richard's scheduling assistance, Nile and Peter arrived right on time and went to work. We had indicated there should be significant attic space for the installation, but we hadn't personally inpected things. Turns out there really wasn't such space to speak of.

Given that fact we did incur a small, reasonable upcharge for additional work on 2 of the fans, and the guys went to work plotting the more challenging installations.

Past experience had led to significant wall cuts and rather crude rough patchwork requiring repair to finish the walls. Within 4 hours the team was finishing up all three installations with only 3 small cuts - each no larger than the palm of a hand - and each professionally patched requiring minimal final finishing by our paint contractor!

We have already had them back to install power above our fireplace for a TV mounting. This time there was NOT ONE cut in the wall!

These are truly electrician magicians, and will be on call for any future electrical work we need. Assuming their other Premo work teams are as thorough, skilled and professional as Niall and Peter you can count on quality professional work from Premo Electric.

First of all, the response reply turn around is immediate even if you leave a voice-mail. I'm not sure I care for the blasts that get sent out to numerous businesses only to get a call several days later. When you have electrical issues, sometimes it just can't wait. Richard is the person to speak and very professional and listens to your needs. I have to say that Sean, the installer went above and beyond what was needed, in a timely manner saving me money as well. Some companies are just too big and too busy to address your needs. Their fact that the job was done right before the holidays was a miracle in itself. This is the second time I had to use them and they will continue to get my business.

I reached out Premo Electric to get a quote for a ceiling fan install with attic access, it was easy and convenient. I had reached out to other companies and they never returned my inquiry at all. Richard was able to set up an appointment that worked for me, they also offer a military discount which was a plus. The day of the install Christian communicated clearly with me about his estimated time of arrival, and arrived within that window. This company takes pride in setting up a clean environment with plastic wrap, boot covers, etc. There was hardly anything for me to clean up after the install was done, minus some touch up paint spots. The installation went great and my ceiling fan was mounted within less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend this company.

Seriously, Niall and Pete did a superb job installing three of our crystal ceiling lights in our closet! I had two lights in there previously and it had to be re-centered because we had added some built-in drawers on one side of the wall. They re-centered my lights along with added the third light in and patched up the holes. I am very pleased with how it all turned out! Their rates are very reasonable to me. I was having an issue with an outlet in my home and contacted Premo Electric. Fortunately they had a tech in my area and were able to have someone here within 30 minutes.

Sean arrived and was extremely nice and professional. Very quickly he identified a bad outlet and was able to replace and correct the issue within minutes. I also had a GFCI outlet that was bad and Sean was able to replace it during the same trip. Everything was done in less than 30 minutes and I was back in business.

Can't say enough good things about Premo Electric. Submitted a message and George responded quickly. Got everything setup. George even was gracious to change the work order late in the game when I realized I needed more done.

His team arrived and got right to work. They installed three new circuits, two new ceiling fans, and two new exhaust fans. Everything was done perfectly!

I wanted to get celing fans installed in three rooms. None of the rooms had any lights in the ceiling so I reached out to a few Electric companies for quotes. Premo Electric was who I choose to do business with. The other companies were professional on the phone as well, I just liked My conversation best with Premo Electric.

Two guys came out for the installation; Naill and Peter. Both great guys. They were ready to meet what ever standard I had. Shoe booties, face masks, etc. they used plastic to cover the beds and floors. Other than new ceiling fans it was like they were never there. Highly recommend this company and if you are lucky enough you might have Niall and Peter at your house!

Quick responsive with quote and scheduling. I needed a bath exhaust vent fan replaced. The tech Niall texted about 30 mins before arrival time. I was impressed how careful he was about keeping my house clean and free if any debris while working . Wore booties while entering the house, and also took time to hang plastic sheets in the work area to contain any dust/ debris. Niall explained the installation and showed how to adjust the speeds in the model. There was a slight chip in the paint as he was removing the tape for the sheets and offered to touch it up. The very fact that he pointed it out to me, was commendable , as I wouldn't have noticed it. As I didn't have the paint, he offered a slight discount. Next time there is a need for electric work , I will definitely call Premo again.

I was doing research on looking for a Tesla charger install, after talking with Frank, he said why spend $550 on a Tesla wall charger when you can spend less for a NEMA 14-50 charger. After sending pics, he was able to show me a plan to get this installed the next day. Fast forward about 18 hours later my man Carlos shows up around the time I was told and knocked out installing the NEMA 14-50 in less than a hour. I had an 15 amp electrical breaker go out. I tried to reset it and it would not fully engage.

I reached to Premo Electric on their website. I got a response within an hour from Richard.

Richard walked me through resetting the breaker. He explained to me because it was two 15 amp breakers that were linked together I had to reset them it the exact same time. He also explained the mechanical reason behind it. He did not charge me for my time and was very happy to save us both time.

Richard was easy to communicate with and very helpful. I will consider Premo Electric again in the future!

Richard took my initial call. Helped me problem solve an immediate problem, restoring power, and then walked me through the next few steps to getting a dedicated circuit. Instead of wasting my time (and money) doing an evaluation, he asked for photos of the situation so he could clearly see understand and make an estimation. When an earlier time slot opened up, he called me right away and asked if I wanted it.

We are trying to close escrow quickly, and were given a list of required repairs late. Not living in the area always makes managing a piece of real estate challenging. After two friends failed to come through, we went to YELP to find a solution. Short answer: YES, DEFINITLY RECOMMEND!

Long answer: We tried installing new pendant lights ourselves and made the mistake of trying to finish the job in the dark. We ended up simply not connecting 2 wires which sent us down a very costly road.

The first electrician, Checo Electric, came and messed things up even worse, causing 2 of the recessed lights to go out. He told us he really doesn't know at this point how to fix the issue and needed to come back to troubleshoot or just rewire the entire thing which included putting new holes in the wall. So we passed on having him come back.

The second electrician, ER Electric (you can read my reviews for this company also), almost fixed the issue, but then ended up ghosting us and never came back or replied to any of our texts/phone calls. Very strange!

Our third company, Premo Electric was our last hope. Benny came out and he fixed the issue in 30 minutes. He also repaired the 2 recessed lights that the first electrician caused to go out and that the second electrician said it couldn't be repaired unless all 6 were done (at $150 a piece!).

If you want an honest electrician that won't waste your time and knows what they are doing, call Premo Electric!!!

Based on the reviews, much like everyone else here, I hired Premo to wire up a hot tub that had just been installed. I called and talked to George who said that he didn't have anything until next week and I told him that I would find someone else. Then he called back and said he had someone who could do it that day. Great.

So two guys showed up and told me I needed parts that they didn't have and couldn't get until next week. They demanded that I pay for the parts and their time and they would come back. UGH!

They came back which is why I gave them a 2 but these guys are way over priced which is why I gave them a 2. I've called them on previous jobs and they don't seem to know how to bid a job or give free estimates. By the time they come out and tell you what it will cost, you're already into them for $150 so they get you coming and going it seems.

They did fine work and were knowledgeable about what I would need, don't get me wrong, but I've had much better experience using other electricians in the past with better service and up front pricing...

I needed an outlet installed on the outer portion of our house. I found Premo here and Yelp and I see why they have such high ratings. Premo Electric installed 3 ceiling fans in our house in rooms where there was not an existing light fixture and also added wall switches to control the fans. The estimate process was handled over the phone and their costs were very reasonable (I actually got 3 quotes from other electricians in the area). Communication around their arrival time was prompt and accurate. Niall and Peter were our technicians and they did a phenomenal job. They were very professional and left the rooms cleaner than when they started. They wore shoe covers in the house and laid down plastic to catch the drywall dust. We have pets and they were mindful of open doors to make sure they didn't run out the front door (and even gave our dog some scritches). I would highly recommend Premo Electric!

I had a problem with my home electrical panel. Early this morning, I used Yelp to find an electrician. Yelp sent my quote request to four electricians and Premo Electric responded first will a phone call.
Richard called and said he can come now. He asked about the problem and to get a photo of the electrical panel sent to him. He called back and agreed to come and told me the charge.
He came in 30 minutes, was courteous and wore shoe booties in my house, checked the outlet and the panel. He found a circuit overload tripped the breaker but no faulty materials to replace. The charge was $154. I am very happy. We will call them again when we need an electrician.

Premo Electric was extremely easy to work with, they are very responsive and make getting quotes very easy. Christian and Peter added multiple canned lights in my living room, kitchen and hallway, as well as removed lighting fixtures and installed fans. They were extremely easy to work with, offered great opinions, and were collaborative in the process (they were also very flexible as the vision changed a couple times). They were very careful to cover all areas and everything was fully clean when they left.

I would recommend Premo to anyone and would work with them again for any electrician needs--they are actually coming back in a couple of weeks to do some additional work :) Christian was extremely responsive and helpful in describing the next work I needed done and communicated it to his team so that all I had to do was book the appointment.

Thank you San Diego Yelpers...If it weren't for your detailed and positive reviews, I would never have found Premo Electric! Over the years, I have assembled a great group of contractors for our home (plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, etc...) but after 17 years I needed to find an electrician to deal with issues regarding our kitchen GFCI outlets. I found Premo electric on yelp a couple of years back and I have been using them ever since. I have had Naill out to my house more times than I can remember to install new 6in led can lights all over the house. I have also used them install new outlets, replace old light switches and place a brand new 82 in TV on the wall.

The most recent visit was last week when Naill came out to install a new bathroom exhaust fan. As always, I was impressed by the work he did and how clean he left the house when he was done. Premo is great and Naill is the best if you are in the North County area.

We wanted to install a ring camera floodlight over our garage but it had no electrical wiring to do it. We also had a couple electrically issues we were unsure of. This crew lives up to the amazing reviews. We have done a fair amount of renovating in the past year, and we've become used to the circus of unproductive preliminary discussions/quotes, poor communication, people trying to not wear masks, poor execution, and the huge mess that most crews leave behind with seemingly no regard to how or if you'll be able to clean it up. Well Premo was basically the opposite - I quickly got a quote, which they were able to provide via phone after asking me to send photos of our electrical box and the rooms where we wanted the work done. The workers that came - Christian and Peter - arrived wearing masks and never took them off while inside our home. My husband talked to them about where they would need to punch holes in the wall and asked that they try to minimize damage so we could minimize our painting, which they absolutely did. Peter and Christian worked quickly and efficiently, and they were super communicative and nice to interact with. We were so impressed with their thoughtful and careful approach, AND the fact that they cleaned up after themselves! (Something we have learned the hard way is not a given after having any type of home work done.) I would definitely call Premo again for any future electrical needs. It was so nice to just get the work done, not have a hassle, and not have an enormous mess and/or collateral damage to deal with. Wonderful experience.

They came in to add boxes to my ceiling for ceiling fan instillation. I wasn't sure if there was attic access to all the rooms, 3 in total, so I gave my best guess. I was given a quote and hired them.

The guys showed up and worked hard. My total was less than the estimate because there was some attic access, who would complain about paying less. They offered a military discount, thank you for that. They worked very hard, and I am very happy. Thanks so much!

Awesome service! Benny and Pete came in and not only fixed all of my electrical issues inside my kitchen super fast. They also installed my new super cool solar ready Leviton smart electrical panel and breakers. Benny really cleaned up my panel and got everything working perfectly. The system now tells me how I'm using power throughout the house and you can see your usage on the app. Also, you can trip a breaker from your phone when you want to work on an outlet. Premo is truly the best and will put in an awesome setup for you.

Very happy with my service. They were able to schedule me same day, texted me about 30 minutes before showing up to give me a head's up, and showed up on right time.

This company earns it's 5 star reviews for good reason. I sent out a quote and received a response within minutes. This was absolutely a non-emergency yet they were able to arrive to resolve within 3 or 4 hours. I was fortunate to have Niall stop by, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We have used Premo Electric twice. They have been very kind, reasonably priced, efficient, and helpful. Recently we had a wall unit microwave and oven combination removed because it had died but it was fairly new and hadn't been cleaned because it was so rarely used. When Premo came, and they saw the fried wires and how our house could have burned to the ground because of poor installation by Pirch appliances. the Premo electrician suggested some steps I take in sequential order. I did so and I'm getting reimbursed for the cost of the new unit as well as the electrical work. Premo has been very easy to deal with.

Great experience! We put out a request on Yelp. Premo responded quickly - we had a quick conversation to clarify details and received a fair quote. Because part of the work wasn't standard (connecting some coax runs), they quoted a fixed price for the electrical work and time & materials for the other work. Since it wasn't urgent, they scheduled us for 3 days later (which was fine).
On the day, their lead electrician (Niall) messaged us 20-30 minutes before arrival and showed up right near the start of their original estimated time window.
Niall and his assistant Peter quickly worked out the right solution, which was a bit tricky, as they had to go through a SIP (Structural Integrated Panel) wall.
They quickly and professionally installed and connected a 4-outlet electrical box and a coax faceplate (with a coax run back to a junction box). When I mentioned we were intending to plug in a treadmill, Niall even took the extra effort to find a lightly-loaded 20-amp circuit to bridge for the new outlet so there would be no question about whether the circuit would handle the treadmill load.
Everything worked perfectly and the finish work was excellent.
BTW - from start to finish, they were very careful and clean - put down and taped up plenty of plastic to catch all drywall and other debris, and when they left, there wasn't a spec of dust or debris. They were always careful to put on booties when going in our house.
Highly recommend Premo Electric. Very professional, very clean, and the price was very fair (BTW - we just received a quote from another electrical company that was 50% higher than the final price from Premo!)

My good friend runs a home inspection business and gives only the best recommendations related to home improvement needs and Premo Electric was his first choice for electricians. George at the office answered my email within a half hour, after hours, and talked to me about my request and was able to talk at length about the projects and prices. I've no reason to doubt that they're decent electricians. But so far as I know, they're not experts in infectious disease. So I didn't appreciate the fact that the tech, Niall, wore his mask covering his mouth, but not his nose. Nor did I appreciate it when he walked up to me, and simply refused to stay 6 feet away, even when I asked him to do so. Nor did I appreciate it when he sniggered and said why are you so scared of the virus? Nor did I like it when he giggled and said I call this the scamdemic. And when I pointed out that the families of more than 200,000 dead Americans might disagree with him, he laughed and said they didn't die from the virus.

As I say, I've no reason to doubt that they're decent electricians, but so far as I know, they're not experts in infectious disease. And they might want to remember that.

EDIT 10/18/2020. The owner, Mr. George Premo, emailed me the day after I posted this. He apologized, and indicated that he'd take several steps to ensure that this didn't happen again. I'm leaving my review up, because every word of it is true - but I am impressed by Mr. Premo's very prompt and appropriate response !!

I wad veru pleased with Premo Electric. I needed to have a fan installed that required a cable to be run and a switch installed where there was no attic access. The electrician wad skilled and cut a minimal of holes in wall to connect electricity. Did a pretty good job with a rough patch to fix the wall too. Also, started job to cover everything which might have gotten dusty. The cost for the labor which included fan assembly was very fair. I would not hesitate to call Premo Electric again for another electrical job or issue.

Niall and Pete came to do rewiring of the ceiling fan I incorrectly installed and to bring it up to code standards. Niall was great at advising the best wiring solution, which was not the most expensive one, and also resetting the remote. They did this neatly and efficiently. Then, I had them look at a failed wall mount halogen light and, to make a long story short, they corrected for the prior installers incorrect work, advised me on which parts to buy and installed a new box in the wall to fit the correct driver. They did a really good job, at a fair price, did not try to take advantage of the situation and completed on time. I can't ask for more than that!

We needed a few light fixtures and a ceiling fan replaced along with a few other items and George was able to schedule an appointment a couple days later. I was emailed prior to the appointment to let me know who was coming to do the work and to confirm time/date. Niall and Pete were on time and did a great job. They let me know what was going on and worked very neatly, using plastic sheeting to protect flooring, taking care of the trash and the old fixtures. Everyone is very professional and courteous. Overpriced. I had 30 amp breaker installed requiring 13-15 feet of wire ran inside garage with plug for dryer. Took 30-45 minutes, one 240 outlet, 12-15 feet wire, and 30 amp breaker maybe $100.00 in parts, I was charged $695.00 dollars. Labor required drilling one hole and a dozen or so staples. Also needed remote to ceiling fan installed (connected 3 wires) 20 minutes later $150.00. Did not sweep up after work completed. Never call again.
The owner called and left a message. I called him and he rectified the situation immediately. The owner took full responsibility and had no problem refunding $400.00. Sounds like a honest man having to rely on workers.

First class service with these guys. Everything was pleasant and super easy. I needed an EV charger installed at my house and sent an inquiry to Premo via the web after reading the good reviews. George contacted me the next day and was able to give me a bid within hours based on photos I sent him of my service panels.

I was able to schedule the work for later the same week. The best part was, when my two electricians Niall and Pete showed and looked over my panels they found a way to do the job for less than half the bid!

They were done within two hours, left the jobsite spotless and the final installation looks great.

Today, the county inspector came out and Richard came over to ensure the inspection would go smoothly. The NEMA 14-50 outlet installation passed with flying colors!

I went with Premo Electric since they were a Tesla recommended electrician, for installation of Tesla Wall Chargers. They were very quick to respond with quote requests (within minutes). They gave me an appointment right away just a few days out from the day I contacted them. Niall did my installation. He texted me about 30 minutes before arriving and was at my house at the exact specified time. The installation took about 2 hours. The process was very smooth and efficient. I was recommended to Premo Electric from a neighbor. I called to get help on a bath replaced GFCI plug the was not working. I troubleshooted the plug, circuit breaker, and lines but had reached the end of my DIY capabilities. Richard at Premo returned my call and asked that I send pictures to see if he could diagnose over the phone. I quoted several electrical companies on installing a Tesla Wall Charger. I selected Premo Electric based on their overall 5 star reviews and their price was reasonable. Premo was easy to work with as we were able to do the quote by email with a few photos of my electric panel, my garage and the location where we wanted the charger located. Setting up the appointment was a simple process. The electrician who did the work was Niall. Premo Electric is top notch! I'm in an area where it can get into the mid 100's in the summer and my AC unit all of a sudden stopped working along with about half of my lights and outlets.

I called over and Richard was quick to get me scheduled for a couple days out. I asked if he could see if there was an earlier time slot and if so to let me know and wouldn't you know it, he called me back an hour later letting me know that Niall could come take a look same day!

Niall was fantastic and not only located the problem, but solved in all within a half hour.

Called Premo based on the fact they surpassed every electrical company in both reviews and ratings. I left a message through Yelp and George got in touch with me immediately. I discussed the things I wanted done and he was very helpful explaining the timeline and estimated costs involved.

Niall was the electrician that was assigned to my project. He contacted me the morning of the job telling me his anticipated arrival time. Niall showed up right on time. He was very professional and ensured that my requests were in line with everything I had explained to George on the phone. Because the job required several days of work, he wanted to make sure my priorities were addressed in order. After we talked about my priorities he explained his strategy and explained the timeline in more detail and we refined the game plan.

I must say Niall was pretty amazing. (My only experience with electricity was a hairpin in a socket at 5 years old.) He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to explain (in layman's terms) what needed to be done in order to meet my expectations and align with building code.

Bottom line - this company is fair, honest, prompt, clean, professional and most importantly... they look out for the consumers needs/wants and budget first! They tailor their work to accommodate your goals and schedule at a price and time that is best for YOU! I have to be honest. At the end of the first day, I expected to hear Niall tell me that things did not go according to plan and the cost would be more than expected. Niall actually did call me at work to explain a challenge with installing my new electrical panel. I initially thought, here we go. Nope. That call did not involve getting gouged with extra costs. He just wanted to let me know that he needed to cut more drywall out than he initially expected. He wanted to make sure that was ok before he proceeded. It ultimately resulted in a cleaner install. Peter (his assistant) installed new drywall and crushed patching to make it look better than when they started. I'm soooo happy with these guys.

George did a great job explaining estimated costs. After strategizing with Niall, I actually came in a little UNDER the estimated cost!!! I have a few more minor things to do which Niall is coming back for. However, I am writing this review because they've exceeded my expectations and I'm already beyond pleased with their work.

George, Niall and Peter are awesome! They've done a beautiful job. This company will be handling ALL of my future electrical needs in San Diego, hands down. My only regret... I did not take before pictures to showcase how good Premo did on my house. Thanks so much guys! I'm truly grateful!!!

Premo electric did a fantastic job! I called on a Sunday night, was expecting to get a voice mail and did, left my message, but was happy to receive a call back that same night.

I wanted my ugly florescent tube lighting taken out and recessed LEDs in on my kitchen ceiling. We set up an appointment for a couple weeks later. Premo showed up 45 minutes after when they said they would, but made up for that tiny snag by completing the job and hour ahead of schedule.

So grateful! First, there was Richard who was so kind as to get me both Niall and Peter to come in under 24 hours to replace all of the outlets in our house. They came on time, they both wore masks and they completed every outlet in the house in under 2 1/2 hours. This included the garage. When I asked Niall if he could give us any insight as to what breaker went with what appliance. He went and marked every single one of my breakers. I have had 2 other electricians come by previously, both taking up a couple of hours to deal with a complicated problem I had only to leave without being able to fix it. When I called Premo at 1pm I was hoping they could come out the same day, I was assured that their electricians were absolutely capable of resolving my problem.

Niall came to my house, machine gun fired a handful of questions, and knew exactly what the problem was. I was able to schedule everything before arriving to my new house in advance with the easiest communication and quoting over phone /email. I had custom hdmi behind fireplace to corner shelving with clean hdmi feed, 4 new outlets installed, gfci where needed, two dimmers installed, ceiling fan, and security light.. Julian and Peter showed up on time with a great attitude.. Called about 15 minutes out ready to rock. It was a full day of work with a great working atmosphere and tips along the way that weren't within the scope but just them being good people. So I don't know where I should start with this wonderful crew. We finally decided to do some upgrades to our house. My new neighbor was getting some quotes for some electrical work. Two guys from Green Electric were at her house and I was having a problem with some outlets. They offered to take a look at my breaker panel as that's where I thought the problem was coming from. They saw the panel was fairly old and quoted me about $5000 to bring it up to date. I interviewed over a dozen experienced, licensed 5 star electricians in SD and decided to move forward with Premo Electric, and couldn't be happier with the outcome of that decision. I have nothing but positive things to say about their response time, customer service, and Niall (pronounced Nile) and Richard in particular as exceptional professionals worthy of the highest praise. As someone who has done a fair bit of commercial electrical work, I have a fairly good sense of what I need done but still rely on the wisdom and experience of experts like Niall, who moving forward will be the only person I trust completely with any electrical work (and there is lots more to be done)!

I reached out on Yelp and Richard wrote me back almost immediately, with very clear clarifying questions about some of the work. I sent him pics and a video of what he needed and after viewing he called me to walk me through a few things and then sent me a complete, itemized quote right in line with other quotes I had received. However, unlike anyone else Richard actually took the time to walk me through important details that no one else had (even after 5pm when I couldn't reach other electricians or companies). You could tell he was kind and experienced and professional and really interested in helping to solve the problem, a rare trait these days and was also able to get me in exceptionally quickly with Niall, who is basically the top electrician in SD. Richard let me know when Niall would be reaching out and answered every single one of my questions in detail in a very polite and respectful way, never making me feel dumb for asking basic questions.

On the morning of the job Niall texted to let me know he was 30 mins away, which I appreciated. He arrived wearing a mask (COVID-19 precaution as per rules) and introduced himself and walked me through what he was thinking about the best approach for the complex, ~6 hr job ahead. He didn't miss a single detail and was very courteous, professional, and very much engaged and focused on the best possible outcome. He walked me through an unexpected complexity but reassured me he'd seen it all (believe me, he has) and really put me at ease in a way that very few folks can when they are doing serious work on your home. So much so that after an hour or so it felt like a trusted friend or family member was over.

Niall was also very helpful with explaining to me what he was doing and why he was doing it that way so that I could learn a little bit more about the work. He was always focused on safety and you could tell he did the work as if he was working on his own house, so he'd pay attention to the aesthetics as well to make sure it looked great (and it does). He worked ridiculously hard and efficient on a warm day and incredibly was also able to come in under budget and under time as well! Niall takes great pride in his work as a professional tradesman and it definitely shows. Most importantly, he is kind and patient and just like with Richard happily answered all my silly questions with no issue or ego. He's just a genuinely great guy who happens to be an expert electrician. I also saw him training an apprentice and you could tell he's a great teacher.

All in all, Niall delivered the best work I have ever seen in this business. His attention to detail, sense of perfectionism, and pleasant and professional demeanor all make him stand out above everyone else and I am already planning on having him back for the numerous other things we need to do. I highly recommend Niall and Premo Electric for any electrical work you need to do! Thanks guys, you're the best!

Thank you Premo Electric!! Last night right before I was going to start dinner, I realized that our fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher were not working.... After flipping all the breakers outside we had to call in the professionals. We left them a quick message and they called us back within 5 minutes of our message and were out in our home within 18 hours. Luckily it was a loose wire in our electrical panel but they did their due diligence in identifying the problem and making sure everything was working again! It felt like their prices (150$ for the first 30 min then 150$ for every hour there after was decent) and luckily it was all fixed in 30 min. We will definitely be calling them again in the future, although I very much hope that we dont need their help all too often, but if we do its nice to have someone that does a good job and is trustworthy!

Julian just left after assessing a circuit issue that was affecting my kitchen, outdoor lighting and irrigation system. He was EXTREMELY professional and explained exactly what the issue was with my system. He also called prior to coming, and came right on time as promised (in fact he was a bit early).

I would HIGHLY recommend Premo Electric and Julian specifically, if you need a prompt, professional electrician!

UPDATE (7/2/2018): This will be my second time using Premo Electric. Benny & Peter called to confirm and came at the scheduled appointment time. Both were very professional and completed installation of new LED lights in 2 bathrooms. The installation was incredibly clean and the lights are awesome!

I just had an awesome experience!

I had my electric panel upgraded to 200amp (by another company) and for some reason, I thought it was not 240V and we needed it to be 240V. I called to have it upgraded by Premo Electric and they were SO super helpful over the phone. Richard asked me to send him a photo of wires and panel and said that we already have 240V and charged me nothing. The best part was that he was not condescending in any way. I contacted Premo Electric on the strengths of the reviews here on Yelp and through recommendations on Next Door, and they did not disappoint! Julian and his apprentice showed up punctually, were very polite, and explained everything they were doing. They diagnosed my problem very quickly, fixed the problem and brought my electrical box up to code. While they were here, I had them also install a new outdoor GFCI outlet on the side of my garage. They did premium work, answered all my questions, and offered excellent advice about some future plans I have. The price was fair and I received a nice new customer discount. I will hire them again for sure!

I called the nice folks at Premo Electric on Friday morning and they happened have an opening. They arrived a few hours later and installed a dedicated 120/20 amp in my garage. The drywall was patched and everything was professionally done.
I only gave 4 stars because they didn't have the white outlet cover and I was told they would drop one by, but I'm still waiting. (Update: very professional and came in and took care of my very small issue). I highly recommend them and they truly went the extra mile!!!

This company gets it right in terms of professionalism, cleanliness and customer treatment. Face covering and shoe booties are standard and work was performed in a timely manner. I hired Premo Electric after seeing the good reviews on Yelp. My experience with Premo and the service rep, Richard Rodriguez, was excellent! My issue was troubleshot in 30 minutes and was traced to an AFC switch in the power panel. Fast service, nice service rep. I would hire Premo again if I have another electrical problem.

We contacted Premo Electric on Sunday night to install a new circuit to a room in our house and, by the next morning, they returned promptly with an estimate. We scheduled an appointment for the very next day, and so it began.

On the day of the appointment, the electrician arrived as promised, ready to begin work. Within 1 hour, Niall had the circuit installed with labels and a smile, ready for my inspection. Seriously, it was that quick.

George was super responsive by email and by phone and super helpful in answering all questions that my HOA required in a timely manner. I was able to set up a time for them to install canned lights a week ahead of time. Our house is older, and when we got a Chevy Volt we were surprised to learn that plugging it in at our outlet in the garage made the car honk periodically and not charge.

We called a few other electricians, one quoted something insane like $3,000 to replace our whole panel, etc, and finally got Premo out.

Niall was super nice and told us we just needed the outlet grounded. He was quick and navigated through the 6 inches of free space we have to stand in the garage to get the work done. Very reasonably priced, I would highly recommend them!

They really helped us out in a bind. The electricity in half of our house went out and we couldn't figure out how to get it back on yet. I have used Premo Electric for three different jobs- can lights in two bedrooms, an electrical vehicle charger installation, and adding two additional outlets. The quality of work is subpar. There was minimal damage done to the walls; the only job that left drywall damage was the ev charger and they're very small! Premo electric is most definitely my go to for any type of electrical work, and I recommend them highly!

On the day of, the technician arrived right on time and was super friendly, helpful and professional (plus masked and gloved -- good to see precautions being taken for COVID!). **AMAZING WORK!!**
They were fast to respond to my request for an estimate for the work on my condo. It was only a couple days after the estimate was done that they were able to start the electrical work.

First job: they removed the old ceiling fan in my dining area with a new model and installed an additional ceiling fan in my living room.

Second job: The old light in my kitchen was replaced with 4 new cam lights. The kitchen is now brighter than ever!

Was working in the kitchen on Saturday when the dimmer switch in our kitchen blew a fuse. A strange plastic electrical smell came out of the switch. I knew it was time to call an electrician.

After searching online, I found Premo Electric who was open on a Saturday. Yay! I spoke to a very nice guy who scheduled an appointment with Richard.

My service tech, Julian, said I just needed some longer screws. But what I really needed was competence and longer screws. I had neither; Julian had a lot of both and quickly performed the repairs. Great experience. Pricing was fair. I'd use them again for any electrical work I need.

Our technicians were Bennie and Peter, and we couldn't be more pleased with their work, excellent customer service, and attention to detail. Can't say enough positive things about these guys! George and Matt are beyond friendly and accommodating when it comes to taking your call and helping you determine what you need done! I originally came across Premo back in January when water got into one of my outdoor outlets and tripped the GFCI cutting all the outlets to my bathrooms, as a woman I needed to do my hair and fast! I called Premo to see if I could get ASAP service and Matt actually walked me through what to do momentarily to get my outlet dried out and GFCI restored! Beyond nice!

Moving forward, Premo has been my HOA's go to electrician service! They've done so much for us for our upcoming security camera install! Specifically, Julian has been a lifesaver! Nicest guy you'll meet, and always looking to save us money where he can! Talk about an honest company!

Finally, I just had Premo do some ceiling fan work for me, as one of my existing ceiling fans from when I purchased my townhome was literally about to fall out of the ceiling. George scheduled Julian super quickly for me and I got three new fans installed with the help of Benny! Another beyond knowledgeable and nice guy! I couldn't be more pleased with the work done! I kept handing off more tasks to Julian and asking a ton of questions, and he never once hesitated to help me out!

Premo Electric is an outstanding company. They are very reasonably priced, punctual, and professional. They replaced eight ten year old halogen lighting in my kitchen and replaced it with state of the art LED lighting. The quote and final price were quite a bit lower than previous quotes that I received from their competitors. I had a secondary lighting issue that resulted from the storms and Julian troubleshot the problem and identified the issues.
Julian is amazing. He's very professional, kept a very neat workspace, and cleaned everything up as though he never created a mess at all. He got along with our dog and was not flustered when she barked at him. I whole heartedly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.

Prompt, efficient, courteous, very knowledgeable.

I just had four recessed lighting installed (no attic access) and three GFCI replaced literally just an hour ago by technician Benny (I hope I spelled that right). It took him a little over four hours from start to finish. He made sure to put floor and furniture cover before starting work and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Explained where and how many holes he will be cutting before starting the job. But I was pleased that he patched all of them well. I asked him to estimate how much to fix the three-way switch on my stairway and he ended up troubleshooting it as a compliment! And he did it no more than fifteen minutes.

I am very happy with all the upgrades. Competitive pricing especially with the Yelp coupon. Highly recommended and will call them again for future electrical issues. Thank you Premo Electric!

Had a great experience with George and Niall, installing a Tesla wall connector for my house. Easy to work with, scheduling was smooth, Niall was seasoned, and it works like a charm. There was a choice to have it close to the breakers for $675 or at double to have it hook up on the other side of the garage. I ended up getting the 25 foot wall connector, so went with the closet and cheaper option. I definitely look forward to using these guys for future work!

I was in the middle of a DIY ceiling fan/light replacement, and was struggling to finish the project. I made a call to Premo Electric to see about setting up an appt for a technician to come out and finish the work. I spoke with Matt - who assured me that I could easily finish it on my own, and took the time to walk me step-by-step through the remainder of the project (keep in mind, this was about 7 or 8 in the evening).

I called Premo when we had an electrical issue. They were able to come out same day. Actually it was within a couple hours of contacting them via Yelp and email.

Cost for service call was explained up front. Simple and straight forward.

Niall called before arriving, was on time, and courteous. As it turned out our issue was a simple one and was fixed in a few minutes. Since he was there I had him check a 3-way switch. He figured out the problem and replaced it with a new one.

I would definitely call them for any future electrical work we need done. Now that we know of a reliable honest company we may look for some other projects.

I cannot begin to say enough good things.

My opinion of a service provider goes up exponentially when they DON'T sell you services you don't need but still take the time to explain why.

Any idiot can pass you off. Any idiot can charge you a callout fee for something you don't really need. It takes class to walk a would be customer through how they can save money elsewhere.

My house lights kept dimming. I called for an appointment, having made sure I had grand or two set aside for whatever was found.

Instead, I had a clear explanation of how SDG&E could likely fix it for free. But, so my time wouldn't be wasted if they couldn't, a callout appointment was set up anyway that I could just cancel if they fixed things.

SDG&E managed to track down the issue and re wired me back to the street. Premo, when I called to cancel, remembered me and took time to ask about what SDG&E did even though it wasn't going to lead to more business.

You don't get better service than that. I intend to be in SD for many years to come and they've got a customer out of me whenever I need anything.

I actually found Premo Electric on yelp. Based on their reviews, I decided to call. I spoke to George whom gave me a quote over the phone. The call took about 20 minutes and he answered all my questions. He then was able to schedule me within a week. I was able to call him the day before my appointment and make some adjustments to my work order without any issues. He was full of extremely helpful advise on the things I was getting done and took his time to discuss with me. I decided to get 4 recessed 6 lights and a ceiling fan installed within my living room. Additionally, I installed an outdoor outlet so that I can hang lights on my back porch.
They charge per type of installation versus hourly which I like as being a newer home owner. I always fear that a job can get out of hand but they charged exactly what I was quoted. I thought the job was reasonably priced based on my research.
Abraham and Pete came today. They were even a little early which was great because I needed to leave for work. They walked through the project with me as soon as they got there and really understood all our many multiple requests. They worked efficiently and did a great job. I am so excited. It looks better than I was even thinking it would.
I highly recommend in the future. I will use them on the future outdoor lighting projects I have in mind.

My experience with Premo Electric was fantastic and they kept me informed throughout the process. George called me shortly after I submitted my online form with information about what I needed. He asked me questions and had me send over a photo so he could see what kind of unit we had. He explained things in a simple to understand way and gave us an estimate both of what we can do now and what we may need to do in the future. We initially got set for a few days out but ultimately there was a cancellation the day we called so he was able to send two guys out that same day.

Julian and Peter called before they got to the house to let us know an estimate. They were helpful and polite and did the job fairly quick. They also explained a few more things about what they expected to do. They finished within the estimate originally provided and in total it took about an hour and a half to add a circuit for our new portable air conditioning unit. This company understands people's time constraints and doesn't give you those ridiculous four or six hour windows of when they might come over.

I'll be suggesting them to all of my friends who decide to set up their air conditioning based on their clear knowledge of everything and fantastic customer service.

I waited a bit to write the review because I didn't get the air conditioner unit until a few days after the job was done. In the four or five days we've had the unit running, we have had no issues.

We needed some miscellaneous lighting fixed so I contacted Premo because of their great Yelp ratings. Now I understand why, they were so helpful with our sense of urgency, very communicative even when they were running behind and called as promised when they were on their way. They gave me a fair estimate on the phone and came through as estimated. The two gentlemen that arrived were conscious of putting shoe covers on before walking on the carpet AND they were quick to diagnose and fix the 3 fixtures we had them look at which in the end reduces your cost. I asked to be contacted via Yelp for a quote to install 8 canned LED lights (4 per room). Premo responded very quickly as I received a call from Richard within the hour. During the day of the install I received a text from Niall saying they would be at our house at 8 AM. Niall and Peter arrived promptly at 8 AM. I had to put our dogs in their kennel and move a few things out of the way. While I was doing this, they both waited outside patiently. Niall and Peter did an excellent job in completing our project in under 3 hours. They were both courteous, polite, fast and clean (nothing for me to clean up after they left). They placed plastic sheeting on the floor and walls to protect against debris from the drilling they had to do in our ceiling. They also made sure our paintings were secured and moved them from the wall where they were hung to the ground. After finishing the job they both rehung the pictures in their correct places. Niall suggested buying new ceiling fans would be more cost effective than repairing our three 13 year old fans. Needless to say we're going to get new fans, and when we do, we'll be sure to call Premo Electric and ask for Niall and Peter.

Amazing Service. I contacted Premo via their website link to inquire about home electric vehicle charging installation (they are certified by Tesla). They promptly responded with a detailed questionnaire requesting more specifics including photos to help them prepare for the installation. They contacted me the next day to confirm details and scheduled an appointment. The electrician texted and called me prior to the scheduled appointment time to confirm my availability and then showed up right on time. Bennie arrived and immediately got to work measuring each area precisely using a laser and string. (I am a perfectionist and he was VERY patient and equally careful in his work.) He was an expert on rules of lighting placement and was able to tell me where exactly to place my lights above the kitchen counters and how much extra space to allow for cabinets/crown molding that might protrude when the kitchen remodel was finished. He also advised me on the perfect lighting temperature of 3500 so that my kitchen looked brighter than the standard 2700 without being too harsh. I trusted him so much, I asked him to install my very expensive bubble chandelier and pendants. (See pics) I LOVE how everything turned out!! I will be calling Premo and requesting Bennie (and his assistant Peter!) for all my future electrical needs :) Also shout-out to Richard and George for always fitting me into their very busy schedule--thanks guys!!

I just bought a new home and the home inspector said we needed to install GFCI outlets in the kitchen. So I did some yelping and found Premo Electric.

I spoke with George on the phone and he had Richard come out on the same day (I called around 3pm and they showed up at 5pm) and install the new outlets. Richard and his associate did a good job and they did it quick! I thought it would take an hour or two but they did it in about 10-15 mins. Richard was very helpful in explaining everything to me.

My overall experience was both bad and good and somewhere in between. I picked Premo Electric based on Yelp reviews. The initial price quotes that I got over the phone were reasonable and the person who I spoke with seemed knowledgable. Scheduling an initial appointment was easy and then things went down hill a bit...

I had multiple projects that I needed done. 1. The breaker for one area of our backyard kept getting tripped. I needed the issue identified and resolved. 2. I needed two external wall sconces hung with power routed to them. 3. I needed a security light hung with power routed to it. 4. I needed low-voltage front yard lights wired and installed.

Task#1 took the better part of an afternoon. (An outside RFID box was swapped out.) Task #2 took nearly a whole day. Task #3 was started on one afternoon, not done correctly, and then fixed on another afternoon. Task #4 took two days. All of these visits were spread over almost 2 months with the lighting supply company mis-ordering things and causing even more delays. It all just took so long and when you're paying for the electricians' time by the hour, it's not really something that you appreciate. I thought that it would take 2-3 days with maybe a week's worth of wait time for some of the lights to be ordered and delivered.

It all works and it's all nicely installed, but it took FOREVER and ended up being more expensive than I expected.

I cannot thank Premo Electric enough for the work they did to our house. My husband and I purchased an older house a couple months ago and it needed some work. We contacted Premo Electric for some electrical work and George contacted us immediately and asked to see the report from the home inspector. I'm so glad he requested this since it allows George to accurately give us an idea of what needs to be done.

Julian and Peter came out to do our electrical work. At first we thought it was just going to take a day or 2, it ended up being a 3 day job. After Julian and Peter did their investigative work to see what condition our 1960s house was in, they realized that a lot more work needed to be done. We were not really surprised by this, as the previous owner of our home seemed to be a big DIY'er and he did not do a good job. So Julian and Peter had their work cut out for them. Julian was extremely helpful and really explained things to us in a way that we could understand. When decisions needed to be made, he gave us options and his recommendation. When we were unsure, he took the time to really explain things further to make sure that we understood exactly what we were making a decision on. Just by talking with Julian, we could tell that he was passionate about his job and that he really cared about the work he was doing.

Overall, we are very happy with the work that Premo Electric provided. The communications with George and Julian were great and we could not be more happier with how things turned out. We will definitely work with them again if new issues come up.

Called after lights went out and had to reset circuit breaker. For some reason the dryer no longer worked so we figured it had been damaged. We called around and requested a few quotes from different electricians. Premo Electric responded in about 5 minutes. Due to the holidays, they had no appointments, so we took a photo of the panel and emailed it. We received a call within minutes and were walked through how to reset the breaker for the dryer. Dryer now works! It was a nice gesture to make by calling us to assist us in fixing the dryer. He could have charged us to come out and repair in person, but he didn't. He didn't have to walk us through how to solve our problem but he did. All very nice things to do. We will definitely be calling to make an appointment after the holidays to have a new circuit breaker installed.

Owners George and Matt were really helpful in getting everything set up. The electricians, Richard, Peter and Benny were very good. They were on time, they ran the lines under the house, they knew what they were doing. We got our entire electrical panel replaced and got two 50 amp lines run for our oven and Tesla charging station. When we had a problem with an outlet, they sent someone right over to fix the issue. The GFCI was being a bit too sensitive.

We called last night at 5PM and talked to one of the owers, Nate. He was able to schedule an appointment for us today. I was a little taken back by the quoted rate but went ahead with the appointment.

It turns out 2 electricians (Benny and Peter) came to the appointment and all the work was done within 1.5 hours, faster than I expected. Some of the work I requested was also not necessary and Benny explained to me why, saving me money and time. The whole job costed less than I expected.

Finally moved in after waiting weeks for the ceiling, flooring, and painting to be completed. Then - the lights in master closet don't turn on and the plugs in the room don't work either. After fiddling with it ourselves, I decided to get an electrician in to fix the issue. Niall was available right away and went to work. Our issue seemed tricky in the beginning, at one point he told me they might have to cut into the drywall. However, after climbing around in the installation filled attic he found the issue - a poorly wired smoke detector. Anyway, $500 later and our bedroom has power again. Niall was knowledgeable, helpful, and even cleaned up after himself. I would definitely call Premo for future issues (but hopefully I won't need to!).

I had called Premo Electric in order to get an estimate. The quote I had been given by a different guy (friend of a friend type of deal) was so low that Premo Electric was very upfront in letting me know that I was getting a good deal and that because of the type of hookup, they wouldn't be able to match or beat it.

The conversation didn't stop there, though!! I was asked questions about my long-term intentions and was then given suggestions and advice on how to best approach this project with whichever electrician I ended up going with. I was even offered additional phone assistance if needed.

WOW, who does that?!? Although I didn't end up deciding to use Premo Electric, it's very evident why they're #1 on Yelp and their customer support/service is impeccable! I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work done at their home!

Julian came out to our house and was incredibly helpful. We live in a 100+ year old home that we purchased a little over a year ago, so we are still learning. He went into the crawl space and up into the attic to try to discover the odd chemical smell that we had reported. And eventually replaced some of our outlets. AMAZING work and what a gentleman Richard is!!! We removed a wall between our dining room and living room. We exposed the existing outlets and wiring and also wanted to add outlets and wiring for a flat screen TV over the fireplace. I sent a message for a quote and had a response the same day. Richard came out exactly on-time and ready for the job. Not only did he work fast, but also very respectful of our house ensuring to minimize his traffic and construction waist. He noticed during the job a BIG issues (fire hazard) He took pictures of the issue on his phone as he was in our crawl space and showed me the issues. He fixed it in a snap! I had a great experience with George and Julian of Premo Electric. I received a call from George the same day I put in a Service Request on their website. I needed to convert a hard wire to a Nema 14-50 outlet for a new electric range. George was able to schedule the service the following week. Julian was the electrician that arrived on time. These guys are awesome; I had Richard over to help with my ceiling fan (I'm pretty sure that's his name.,..if not, please correct me Premo and I will update my review). We just bought our home and our remote/receiver for our fan was broken (light always had to be on with fan). I had bought a receiver and attempted to install on my own. Not a good idea. I saw Premo had nothing but 5 star reviews and a lot dealing with ceiling fans. Premo certainly lived up to the expectation, if not exceeded it. Richard was extremely friendly and helpful; he even put in a piece to the fan that was missing which added extra support - I couldn't be more thankful!

Should we have any further electric needs, big or small, Premo will be our electrician of choice.

I left a 5 star review, on work that Graham did last Friday. He repaired an outlet in our backyard, and added an outlet to our garage. I still had power issues w/ the outlet in the backyard though, so I emailed Premo back on Saturday night. Normally, if I recall on services rendered, I would lower the yelp rating.

But they got back to me the same night, and I made an appointment to look at it again first thing on Monday morning. The fast service still holds true.

Richard came out, and did a great job. He called in advance, showed up on time. He apologized for the inconvenience and fixed the problem (a wiring issue). He tested the outlet to make sure it was working before he left.

Since Premo did a good job of responding and fixing the problem after Graham's 1st attempt, I'm leaving the rating at 5 stars. I tested the other outlet that Graham installed and it all seems to be working. Hopefully all is good to go now!

Very prompt responses and very knowledgeable about my electrical car charging station over the phone. I appreciated the questionnaire they sent which enabled us all to be on the same page before the job occurred. Quote was within range I expected.

I could not be there the day that Niall came, but he let me know when he was arriving and my father-in-law was able to meet him. I really appreciated him keeping to the appointment schedule and being on time. He was extremely neat and well organized. The work was beautifully done. The charging station looks like it was meant to be there and he replaced part of my circuit panel with the correct piece, which should have been done by the original contractors when the home was built. I have to add that he was also extremely patient and accommodating in allowing my father-in-law, who is an electrical engineer and extremely picky, to watch him while he worked.

I have been married to my husband for 25 years and in all that time and with all the construction projects I have seen at my home and my in-laws, my father-in-law has only twice given positive feedback on any work that has been done. Niall was one of those whom he praised. He gave Niall excellent marks which says a lot and I concur. I will continue to hire this company and Niall. If I can describe my experience with Premo in one word, I would say AMAZING! I called in the morning and was set up for an afternoon appointment with Matt. Around noon Matt called and said he had an opening and can come immediately. UnfortunatelyI had to make a trip to LA and told him I wont be back until around 3:30pm. Matt made arrangements for technician by the name of Richard to come. Traffic was bad and Richard waited for me to arrive outside of my condo. Five stars for great communication and customer service alone.

I had intermittent issue with closet light on the second floor. Richard diagnosed the issue within minutes. Damaged receptacle due to old aluminum wiring in one of the outlets. Fixed it on the spot. He also provided explanation and preventative steps I can take to make sure there wont be any hazard!

Knowledgable, professional, and overall outstanding!!! They earned a spot on my contact list for any future electrician needs!!

Having to hire a contractor, plumber, or electrician is always a challenging prospect. I'm ignorant to most anything related to home repair, and having to find the RIGHT people that can help is daunting. All you hear are horror stories.

I am unbelievably relieved to have had the most incredible experience with Premo Electric.

Long story short, we closed on a place last year and it turned out to have several electrical issues. A whole new panel, new circuits, new heaters etc. Very close to worst-case scenario territory.

I originally called Premo Electric for an emergency trouble shoot, and they came right out and provided an honest assessment of what was needed.

For MONTHS they worked around all of my re-scheduling and plan changes, and even made some unpaid site visits just to help educate me on lighting design, and help flesh out what I needed for the repairs, and what I wanted for the additional lighting. They were upfront about their materials costs, labor, and job requirements. Not only did they honor their original quote they provided to me LAST YEAR. On top of that, they even saved me money from some of their original figures.

On top of EVERYTHING ELSE they never ONCE badgered me about payments, deposits, or invoicing. Their whole focus was making the job perfect.

George and Matt run an incredible outfit, and Richard with his crew are exceptionally friendly, hardworking, and professional. They did phenomenal work in our limited condo space, completely upgraded our electrical situation, and helped install beautiful cans and fixtures. It feels like a whole new place.

They left mere minutes ago and I felt compelled to write this review. You would not even think they were here at all. After all that work: not a speck of dust to be found anywhere, seamless patchwork, and they even vacuumed out the inside of my cabinets!

Good electricians, but way too expensive , absolutely not worth it. How could it take 1 1/2 hours to figure out that my photocell sensor ( sensor that detects when it's dark and automatically turn on all lights connected to that circuit) is busted. If you could do it yourself then just do it.

This is an amendment to the earlier review I gave. The service made a very generous offer not to charge anything for the good job done because of miscommunication about their billing rates. They did a very nice job installing the light fixture and I offered to pay what I thought was reasonable fee for the work done. I am sure there would be other people like me who would choose their service based on the good ratings they have and the number of people who gave good reviews.

I found these guys on yelp and decided to give them a call based on all their fantastic reviews! I wanted to get a new ceiling fan installed and they gave me a quote over the phone and scheduled the appointment. They were also very responsive when I called back with additional questions.

The morning of the appointment, Bennie confirmed the appointment and let me know he was on his way. He did an excellent job installing the fan and a dimmer switch, and was very patient with me as I decided exactly where it should go, changing my mind a couple times. he also left my house clean just like nothing had happened.

Wow, just wow! I am rarely speechless. When it comes to things like electrical/air conditioning/moving/etc I'm always super nervous. I don't like reading sketchy reviews and I don't trust anything with less than 100 reviews. Finding an electrician for the bathroom socket I blew out with a hair dryer was a very daunting task. However after three months, I finally decided that I couldn't deal with getting ready in the closet mirror. I ended up calling Premo Electric and I am so happy I did.

First, they were able to come the next day. Yes it was at 7am but I was seriously shocked with the availability. Second, he actually arrived at 7am! Okay three minutes earlier which I don't believe ever happens in the history of appointments. Third, Richard was awesome! He was nice, understanding, fully diagnosed the problem and was friendly in the process. The entire visit took less than 30 minutes which was the minimum quoted time on the phone (that never happens). He also gave me options on either putting the unit back in or replacing it without trying to overly sway me one way or the other. It felt honest and when I decided to replace whatever it was (I'm not an electrician), I was comfortable with doing so. Definitely 5 stars. I would use Premo Electric again in a heartbeat (let's just hope I don't have to).

I needed a 240V outlet installed for a clothes dryer. A local appliance store I called recommended Premo Electric for the job. George was really nice and easy to deal with, and was able to schedule me for just a couple of days out. Niall arrived right on time (calling a half hour before to confirm he was on his way). He was very good about explaining the work to me and answering my questions both before and after. Everything was done nice and clean and the cost was less than I had expected. I would definitely use them again for any electrical work that comes up, and that's the best recommendation there is.

WOW I Am Absolutely AMAZED!
I hired Premo Electric to install the ceiling Fans in 5 rooms throughout our home. I was worried about the installation process since I have kids & worried about them falling from the ceiling. I wanted the best San Diego electrician I read the fantastic reviews here on Yelp and contacted them through their website.

George immediately contacted me right back.
After asking a few questions he was able to provide an accurate estimate right over the phone. So I scheduled an appointment for them to come out & install the fans.
George is very good at communicating & made the process from scheduling the work to completing the work very simple.
On the day of the appointment the electrician called before there arrival & said he was 30 min away. I really appreciated this & the fact i could be prepared for them.
The installs were flawless & turned out great! I couldn't be happier with George & his team. They are well organized & very clean, the house was left cleaner when they were finished than before they arrived! I am a 100% satisfied customer. I would highly recommend them to all my friends & family.

The entire backside of our house lost electricity. I had an idea what may have caused but since I dont really like to mess with electricity, decided to call for electrician. I noticed that Premo Electric had quite alot of good reviews so rolled the dice. I'm glad I did. The electrician assigned to my job, Niall, was a complete professional. He called ahead of time, was prompt, and took the time to explain the problem. He did not waste any time completing the work which is good since the customer is paying by the hour. These guys are great!! I would definitely use them again! We had an outlet go out in the garage that was for our refrigerator. I called and spoke with Richard. He help figure out how to plug the fridge in a different place so it would stay cold and was able to get out to us the next day! He was quick and efficient. I've hired Premo Electric on multiple occasions first I have to say the customer service is above the 5 stars if they had 10 stars this would be for them. George personally is a very good person and very reliable. First I want to say thank you Premo Electric for installing and designing all my LED recessed lighting.

George an team personally installed over 125 led recessed lights in my home it may seem like a lot but I have a very big Estate and they were able to design and install all my lighting throughout my home and I got to say I'm very pleased with the way that it turned out. My wife and I we're a little concerned about our kids bedroom in the light that would be installed inside the rooms. Premo Electric and team were able to install dimmers on the lights so that it wasn't too bright but also wasn't too Dim as well. The dimmers also came with the night light so you put it all the way down one of the lights stay on a little bit without turning the light switch all the way off so it wasn't too bright this was extremely awesome and they did it in the perfect design.

The lighting project took approximately three and a half to 4 days and throughout the whole time they were very very clean it's amazing I don't even think our live in maid has cleaned as much and as good as Premo Electric and team has done. Overall, I see we're all very good reviews come from and I am very impressed. Not only was the quality amazing but the finish is absolutely phenomenal. I'm not the usual person to praise about someone's work but these guys are the real deal and I would highly recommend them if you're going to be doing any type of lighting throughout your home thank you George and also Premo Electric for your help you have been absolutely amazing more than you would ever know.

What was really important to me was the fact they were able to give a fairy accurate over the phone estimate so it did not require a fall in home consultation. They had written a estimate with a few questions that they had asked me so I was able to get a very accurate price for the actual work this save me time which is money and overall was a perfect experience.

These guys are amazing.

I called this morning with an electrical issue I was having. George was able to find a cancellation in their schedule and get someone out to me within a few hours.

Benny arrived right on time and was very friendly. He was able to diagnose my problem almost instantly. Unfortunately, it was mostly user error on my part so his total time out was ~5 minutes, and left it as a courtesy call.

Just got a visit from Julian. He was not only a master of his craft but more importantly, a great person to invite into our home. He started off by calling promptly 20 minutes before the appointment just like advertised. When he arrived, he consulted on a couple projects my wife and I were working on out of sheer kindness and did our lighting fixture like a true perfectionist would. Even ran down to CVS to pick up a couple bulbs to complete the project. If you're like me and don't mind paying a good premium for the knowledgeable and expert service, then stop browsing and hire these guys right away. We used other electricians in the past with varying degrees of satisfaction or dissatisfaction, so we decided to check Yelp reviews. Premo Electric had so many 5 star reviews we decided to give it a chance. The entire experience from start to finish was 5 stars.

The initial contact and appointment process was excellent. We were given a time window and were told we would be contacted a half hour before the servicemen arrived. We were also given email confirmation. George clearly told us the rate structure which was satisfactory to us. The final bill was less than we had expected! (By the way, they offer a 10% senior discount.)

Niall (and his co-worker, Peter) was first rate. He called a half hour before arriving right on time. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and worked quickly all the while taking great care while working inside and outside of our home. Booties on the work shoes, protection for surrounding areas, thorough clean-up and haul away of old fixtures, etc.

This time the work we needed was relatively minor, replacing a long lighting fixture on 1 bathroom wall (it was old and a mouse had been chewing on the wiring), repair of an overhead LED tube fixture, and the disconnection and removal of an outdoor flood light that was attached to an electrical outlet box.

We will definitely use Premo Electric for future electrical needs, and we will surely ask for Niall!

After researching various electricians to have a new electrical line installed into our dining room, we chose Premo and could not be happier.

Prior to having the job done, we knew we would have drywall damage no matter what. The electrician, Niall, was prudent in not making more damage to the drywall than was absolutely necessary. Niall estimated up to 10 holes in the drywall and was able to do the install with just just 2 minor holes which were quickly and efficiently patched.

All in all, we already have plans to have Premo return to our property to complete a few more electrical jobs due to the professional service we received today.

Premo was prompt during the planning and estimation process through to the installation and clean up process. I would not hesitate to do business with Premo again.

The lights at my house went out and I think it was because of the two portable heaters we had turned on. I was debating on calling an electrician since I get home so late and it could be costly.

I looked at reviews for electrician by my house and came upon this one. It had great reviews and was open 24/7. I thought great I can call them as soon as I get home.

I call them twice and it went to voicemail. So the second time I call, I leave a voicemail and within less than one minute I get a call back.

A light fixture broke in my kitchen, subsequently burning out the dimmer and killing the lights in my kitchen. We cooked in the dark for a few weeks before finally calling Premo Electric. Premo Electric was easy to work with, and was extremely flexible with our schedules. We rescheduled twice due to last minute travel and had no problem getting an alternate date.

Premo Electric did a great job installing recessed lighting in my condo. When I first left a voicemail George called me back in no time at all and was able to answer all my questions. He sent me a reasonable quote via email and was able to schedule the job for a few days later. Very prompt and easy communication.

Richard, Ben and Pete showed up right on schedule and took great care in prepping everything. They spent two days on the job and kept me in the loop with any issues that came up during installation and were very helpful with any decisions that had to be made. After they were done they cleaned up everything as well.

I recommend Premo Electric as they are very responsive, friendly and customer oriented. In fact, I called Premo back a few weeks later to add more recessed lights in my kitchen and they did an excellent job again.

We initially got upgraded from 65 amp service to 200 and then they came back to rewire the electrical in the house. We can run everything in the kitchen now! Premo Electric really helped us during a kitchen remodel with issues from other peoples work we had done years ago. They went through every plug and outlet to make sure they were all correctly connected which a live wire was actually found that could have caused a fire. After running new wiring in ceiling we now are all safe and working! They continued checking into my living room and made sure all plugs and lighting were correctly done safe and found problems in connections. We are very happy with their friendly professional service, always on time. Richard, Peter and Benny worked extra hard to figure out all electrical issues caused by others from previous renovations. Premo also had to open small holes in walls and ceilings and offered a name they use to fix larger drywall problems. We called and promptly got our drywall fixed also by repairman named Chava, his work was exceptionally done ! We highly recommend them for all your electrical needs. I love my go-to electrician, so I was a little skeptical to step out of the box and find somebody new because he was busy. I have very unique electrical situation with my pool light. Thank you so much Premo Electric! I had a part of my kitchen and living room that stopped getting electrical power and called them because of their great Yelp reviews. The man helping me was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and great at explaining what could be wrong and what could be done before they came out. He had me check a number of things and push buttons on plugs and reset breakers. When finally it came up that I had a second breaker panel in the garage I reset that as well and now I have electricity again!
He took 20 minutes or more over the phone to help trouble shoot my electrical problem. And although he solved my problem over the phone this time- next time and from now on I will call and refer people to Premo Electric! I highly recommend them!

I was having trouble with a ceiling fan being too noisy after a previous handyman fixed a broken fan switch. I called Premo E, they explained what they can do to look at it and gave me prices straight up. I scheduled for someone to come the next day. Benny gave me a courtesy call when he was on his way and arrived promptly on time. Benny was great and quick to find the problem and fixed it, maybe in and out in 45min, and cost me $125.

I was able to schedule an appointment within 3 days of calling. I had a problem with poor wiring in my walls and a multiple fixtures on multiple breaker switches that had failed.

The technician was friendly and quickly dianosed and fixed all problems within 1 hour. He cut into the wall, installed some new hardware, wired it, and cleaned up.

I chose these guys because of all of the awesome Yelp reviews and quickly discovered that they've earned them. I first had them replace a very old (1960-ish) electrical panel on my house and then had them back out to reconnect/repair the doorbell setup so that I could use Nest Hello. They work incredibly efficiently and explain everything which is awesome. They're a good, cohesive team. George handled most of the planning, communication and estimates. Richard and Ben handled the jobs at the house. Will definitely use them for future electrical needs and recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician.

I requested a quote to install the Ring Bell Pro. George contacted me right away, requesting additional information. I sent him a picture of my current doorbell and location and he was able to quote a price. I had to wait another week or two before install as I had to order the item. I made an appointment and Julian came to my place for the install. Julian also called 30 minutes before his arrival which was great. It took about an hour to install and he checked everything to make sure it was working correctly. Thanks to George and Julian. They were AWESOME and I would highly recommend their services.

Had a tricky wiring issue and called Premo. Premo worked with me to find a time that Benny and Peter could show up. Fit their visit within my ridiculously tight schedule (after 330pm but before 5pm) same day. I had intermittent issues with lights going out. The guys showed up and thought it was all fixed. The next day another light went out and the guys came back and quickly resolved it. I'm not sure what else you could ask for. it doesn't get more fair than that. I'll use Premo again and would recommend them.

Great service! Niall's workmanship was fast and well done today. He maintained his professionalism throughout. My only gripe would be that he came a couple hours late this morning, but contacted me immediately to let me know that he was running late, which I appreciated. I understand these things happen sometimes. Niall quickly understand and remedied the problem with my 3 way switch, fixed other 3-way switches, and added a new outlet. As a homeowner, it gets expensive and frustrating when things break and you have to pay out of pocket. On top of being frustrated with that, it is even more infuriating when you end up hiring a company that doesn't do the job right, and/or cheats you.

That's why Premo Electric is so refreshing. Matt picked up the phone right away when I called. He was not only friendly and professional, he sounded like he really knew what he was doing. He gave me price quotes immediately over the phone, and was able to come out and do the job that same day. He met with my tenant, fixed the issues with the electricity right away, and gave me very detailed recommendations on what should be done next to fix the problems long-term. He even told me to go on Yelp to get the 30 dollar off coupon.

I spoke with my tenant, and she confirmed that he was honest, informative, and fixed everything right away.

I really feel that Matt is a professional and an expert in his field. He was honest and upfront about everything from the beginning. There were no hidden fees, no surprises. I would trust him and recommend him for all electrical issues, and will certainly call him again in the future. It was so nice to get the problems fixed in a matter of hours, and for peace of mind!

Our steamer killed one of the circuits in the back bedroom and I tried replacing a couple of electrical outlets with luck. I called Premo Electric during the Holidays and they were able to setup an appointment the day after Christmas.

Matt was able to debug and replace the faulty outlet in about an hour. There was a neutral wire on the loose so he traced the problem from the GFCI in the master bathroom down to the one of the outlets in the bedroom. Matt also gave me some helpful DIY electrical wiring advice to help with my home electrical projects.

QUALITY.. Seriously.. QUALITY

I know my previous review was a bit harsh, but here I stand corrected.

For one, they show up, on time, and communicate all the way through. When they were here they cleaned up everything, we had a few odd requests, we wanted to limit the amount of holes in the wall. They said they would try, and since we had some space they were able to run the wire to our central air unit from the main panel without cutting anything.. now this isn't typical results, I just know of the space that might be there because I moved out wires from the panel myself. It isn't easy to do this, but they said they would try and that is all I can ask for. My wife is gonna be stoked they could run it through.

After the job, they showed me all their work (minus climbing into the attic but I'll check that later) and explained what they did. After everything was done we go to fire up the AC and it doesn't work. They again retest all the connections and all is well but the unit isn't firing up.

**KEY NOTES*** HERE**
1. They tried to troubleshoot shortly why it wasn't working, I literally had to tell them that it isn't their problem. I have to call the AC guy. They just wanted to see a job through, even if it wasn't their job.

2. They fixed some of my recessed lighting that was knocked a bit sideways from them crawling up in the attic. I tried to test them and see if they were going to let me do it but they didn't let me. They got a ladder out and fixed it. In my hallway I had one that I had knocked a little crooked a while ago that I didn't fix. They fixed that one also. They verified that my doorbell worked. They actually care about their customer.

If you look at my reviews, I don't write a ton, usually if I have a great experience or a horrible one. This has been a great experience. Thanks a lot premo, you guys are now in my contacts on my phone.

Matt and George are the best electricians we have ever used. They show up on time and installed a dedicated line for our wine refrigerator, installed two sconces with dimmers, installed dimmers on three chandeliers , and then recommended low watt LEDs to reduce our utility expense. We did that and are extremely pleased with their work! They are conscientious and leave the job site clean.

The customer service is outstanding. Matt our electrician was very kind and curtious. He was informative as to what needed to be done at our place. We asked him to replace a ceiling fan and he informed me that it was not safe to do so. Rather then just put up the fan regardless of the outcome. George called me the morning after Labor Day, and to my pleasant surprise, proactively and pleasantly offered an appointment the same day after I botched a DIY attempt. All the positive characteristics you could want in an electrician were present here; extremely knowledgeable, professional, efficient, enthusiastic, very courteous and honest of course. (I'm prior military and a supervisor at my current job, so I can be very critical and very observant too - and I was very satisfied). Matt and his crew demonstrated the traits above, provided great suggestions during the installations in 3 of my rooms, some power/usage tips and even answered questions regarding other projects.

These were the BEST electricians I've ever had come to my home. I typically go with BBB affiliated companies but decided to give these guys a shot based on their reviews - I'm so happy I tried them out.

Our 15 year old, originally quite expensive, CasaBlanca fan had finally choked. The light still worked, so it seemed like the remote might still be working, but we just couldn't figure it out. Julian came out, diagnosed the issue, and has sent it out for repairs since it couldn't be fixed on site. He also went through all my electrical outlets, fixed the ones no longer working, tightened up the ones that work, and upgraded the safety of several.

In addition, all this happened only twelve hours after my initial phone call. These guys are not the cheapest, but they are honest and meticulous. I could not be happier.

The ability of a service company to perform breaks down into two parts. Number one, technical knowledge and number two the organization management to be able to deliver said service. When a company is able to put the two together they become exceptional. A leader in their industry. Reviews given on Yelp reflect that performance and when a company can obtain a Solid 5 star rating and have a significant number of reviews they are more likely to be able to successfully complete the work or service you're looking for. There's an old saying it takes one to know one. I own and operate my own Service Company called Nixtermite (pest control) and have reviews similar to this company. I know what it takes to be a good service company and Premo electric has what it takes. If you are in need of basic electrical repair or a full rewiring of your home give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Last week Richard answered my call late evening booked me the next day for a power outage we were experiencing.
Richard scheduled me and called 30 min ahead upon his arrival and he showed up on time. This company went above and beyond restoring my power within 20 minutes. I've used this company in the past, I'm so grateful to have this quick service go to company when i need it the most.
I love that they put their booties on and were well presented. I hope i do not need there services in the future since they did such excellent work, but If I do I know who to call.

I purchased a jacuzzi and when I went to plug it in I realized that the outlet was upside down!!!!
I called this company because it was in my area and had good reviews. My call was answered after normal business hours.

George called me up prior to the appointment window to inform me that Julian will be running late and will most likely show up towards the back end of the time window. This review is s little late in being posted, but I really need to thank the guys at Premo electric for being extremely professional and courteous. Our oven died right before Christmas and we were told we needed to move an outlet to install a new one so fortunately Julian (hopefully that's correct name) was able to see us on short notice. After a good time on the phone with the oven installers at Best Buy he determined that our new stove actually would work with outlet current setup and so didn't need to move the outlet. He helped us avoid costly work and said he'd just chalk the visit up to a long lunch! Amazing that there are businesses with people this cool. George came to my rescue on a Saturday, during the recent holiday weekend.
He replied to my call right away, making an appointment with my tenant to find out why the electricity in part of the condo was wonky.

My tenant is married to a contractor, so she has a sense of when someone is providing great work. She was thrilled with every aspect of the work George put into replacing our fuse box.

I had power installed in my one-car detached garage by Richard and his team. They installed a box, outlets, switches, an LED light, and a motion detector light outside. The had to dig a ditch under my driveway to run the wires. This was all done within 4-5 hours. Richard and his team were very polite and friendly. Richard had to come back a couple of weeks later to add more dirt to the ditch they dug, but everything was done promptly and as he had described. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND PREMO ELECTRIC FOR YOUR ELECTRICITY NEEDS.

Absolutely going to call George again in case anything else malfunctions in my house. Unfortunately our fridge lost power unexpectedly and my husband (Electrical Engineer) could not figure out what went wrong. Most of the time we call a family friend to fix what's wrong in the house but couldn't get a hold of him. I randomly logged into yelp and saw a recently posted review on Premo Electric.

I'm so thankful for running across someone else's review because they certainly helped me out. (Thanks Jose G) Having a fridge plugged into an outlet that isn't meant for it is not ideal.

George is certainly extremely efficient and a very professional electrician. Price was reasonable and affordable for the work he did.

After introductions he was right into work mode and was able to get to the root of the problem in no time. Not only did he fix what was broken but George even explained to me what was the cause of the error.

A friend recommended Premo Electric to me and I checked out their Yelp reviews which were very positive, so I decided to call them. The guy who answered the phone seemed very knowledgable and gave me a good idea of what the job would entail and roughly how much time it would take.

Great service from George. I called in the morning for a non emergency service, and was surprised that he can come in the afternoon.

Just in case you can't see my rating... I am giving 5 solid stars for George!

I had another electrician (not from Premo) scheduled for sat morning, but he did not showing up... I kind of freaked out and tried to find someone to wire and install ceiling fans as soon as possible. I came across Premo Electric on Craigslist and called for a quote. I noticed how nice and professional George was right away, and the best part was he was able to come out to do the job later that day (scheduling ahead is of course highly recommended).

Throughout the day, he was very polite and patient with all of our numerous questions. He really took the time but worked hard to finish the job as quickly as possible. He also patched two little holes he had to make for wiring and cleaned up well after everything was done. We could easily tell he is experienced, detailed and organized, and his quote was reasonable for a licensed electrician. You know these qualities are hard to find these days...

Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with his work and feel lucky I found him! I called to get another quote for some light fixtures in our dining room and look forward to working with him again!

I purchased a new stove and had to have an electric line hooked up for it so I contacted Premo Electric along with a few others. Premo Electric had the best reviews, lowest price, and they were available to do the job before anyone else, so it was a no brainer picking them.

George from Premo Electric was very easy to talk to and was ready to have an electrician out to my place the same day.

I had Julian from Premo Electric out for the line hookup and he was very friendly and professional, and got the job done in a timely fashion.

Called ahead, arrived on time, did what I needed done despite obstacles, cleaned up when done, and billed what they said they would bill. I needed a circuit in my 70's constructed house split in to two to offset load. Despite the fact that the circuit was not originally installed how we thought it would be we were still able to accomplish what I needed done.

Premo Electric definitely has earned a 5-Star rating and stellar recommendations! Specifically, Premo sent Niall, Benny and Peter as the team to tackle the multiple indoor and outdoor electrical work that my husband and I wanted for our home. I was simply impressed by the professionalism displayed by Richard who coordinated and scheduled the work. He was patient with all of my questions, returned my calls, and was reassuringly confident that Niall, Benny and Peter were exceptional and would do a fabulous job. Yes! He was undoubtedly correct! The guys were professional, knowledgeable and friendly, punctual, courteous, conscientious about keeping our home clean at all times and always smiling. In fact, I could occasionally hear Niall whistling to a tune! It was a delight to have these guys do the work and I knew at the end that I would be completely satisfied with the quality of workmanship and service provided. As noted, Niall was totally instrumental in troubleshooting and making sure everything was performed according to code. He found a couple of things that had to be updated to code, informed me about it, and promptly fixed them. He did an excellent job with all the main electrical work, including several exhaust fans, security and ceiling lights, and replacing light switches all throughout the house. He also helped with a non-electrical issue with my landscape lights at the very end of the day, for which I am forever grateful! Benny and Peter did an awesome job installing several new ceiling fans and new LED recessed lighting. Though dry wall had to be cut, Benny did an awesome job minimizing the number of holes made, while Peter did just as awesome a job patching the holes up, and all the while maintaining my home immaculately clean! Peter helped with installing the exhaust fans as well as replacing all lights to LED throughout the house. I appreciated that he took the time to make sure the lights were exactly as I wanted! Benny helped to install a new GFCI outlet above the pergola, brainstormed how I could set up the lights and even googled an image of the type of hook I can use to string the market lights up. Benny also installed a new doorbell with various chimes, and each time a specific chime plays, it serves as a reminder of Benny and how fun it was to select the most tolerable chime. Overall, it was a lot of hard work that was expeditiously done in 2 days, and the experienced team consisting of Niall, Benny and Peter made it pleasant and worth the money paid. It is without a doubt, that these guys come highly recommended without any reservations! Kudos!

This was one of the best experiences I have had for Home repair. I received a call to confirm my availability the day of and the technician was on time and very professional. My daughter was sleeping in the other room and he told me when he was doing anything that would make too much noise so I could be ready to help her go back to sleep. The job was done quickly and everything worked great.

Julian saved the day! Half of my condo went dark on Labor Day and Premo Electric called me promptly on Tuesday to schedule same day service. Julian was very professional and efficient. He took the time to explain the issue and all of the work that was being performed. Wow! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I contacted Premo Electric Richard Rodriguez was efficient, professional and friendly. He followed up with me to assure the appointment time was still convenient and he came through on time and prepared. Richard and Peter did an absolutely amazing job. He and Peter were very professional, courteous and cautious in my home. I called Premo Electric to get a quote on upgrading my 60 year old fuse box plus an additional upgrade to 200 amps. Their quote was reasonable and they had all 5 stars so I hired them. They took care of obtaining the City permits which was a big help.
We set a date for the upgrade and Richard and Bennie showed up to do the work. They work as a team and started at 8:00am and worked steady in 90 degree heat through to 6:00pm when they finished the job in one day which is not easy to do.
They called SDG&E to come inspect the work. The SDG&E guys showed up within 15 minutes, performed the inspection, and declared everything good to go.
Richard and Bennie are two of the best workers I have ever seen. Five Stars to them and to Premo Electric !

So my husband and I just moved into a new home that we thought and were told was recently renovated. Not much was mentioned about what was updated as far as electrical wise, but come to find out a week later in this new home, a fair amount of items were not up to code and we're just broken/missed completely. I guess adding a new faceplate to outlets counted as updated to them. But anywho, Niall was our technician that came out early as heck and on time (7:30am) per our request. He tackled a laundry list of items that included replacing old outlets to GFCIs in the bathrooms, kitchen, garage, outdoor plugs; replaced our outdoor lights; took out old security panels that was of no use; and managed to do small details that he really didnt have to do, but greatly benefited us. Niall was prompt, professional, and kept it honest with us throughout the entire time, he also didnt need to do most of the work today, but did so to save us money. We plan to put in a new garage outlet and new dinning room light in the near future so I am extremely satisfied and happy to know that we have someone dependable that could do the job right when we do.

Fantastic company that cares about the quality of its work and reputation! Matt, George, Richard, and Julian -- all great to work with. The end-result (30+ 4 LED recessed lights throughout my home) looks terrific. They gave spot-on advice about selecting the right kind of lighting, determining where to place the lights in the home, and which dimmers to use to eliminate the buzzing noise you sometimes hear near recessed lights. Richard and Julian were top-notch during installation, obsessing over the details as if it were their own home. And they worked late to get the job done on time, so that the lighting would be ready on my family's move-in day. Pricing was fair and transparent. Highly recommend these guys.

My tenants informed me the power was going in and out in the unit. I called Premo and scheduled an appointment with Matt. He was very helpful and professional. Julian, the electrician called me and my tenants in the morning to confirm the time he was going to arrive. From what I heard, he was quick with his diagnosis and service. He also called me afterwards to explain to me in PLAIN language what was wrong and recommended that I talk to my HOA.

I will definitely use Premo again. They are very professional and charged a fair price!

Julian Garcia with Premo was fantastic - courteous, clean, and friendly. He swapped out a car charger for a new Tesla unit for us. We didn't have a breaker large enough to charge at max capacity but rather than try to up-sell he gave me the options and showed me (using the Tesla website) that we would get a charge rate of 30 miles per hour (vs 44) with the existing circuit. The cost to change all the wiring wasn't worth it at this time so I appreciate his honesty. I highly recommend Premo for your electrical needs!

What I thought would be a simple light socket upgrade/DIY project turned out to be something different. When there was a bit of smoke coming from the light socket I knew that I needed an experienced electrician to come. Thank goodness that Premo Electric take weekend calls. Benny, who made the initial diagnosis, was very professional and thorough. He walked me through my wiring issues and also explained what also needed to be done to prevent future problems. Safety was his main concern and he was very patient with my many questions. Peter did a great job troubleshooting for the burnt wiring and minimizing the amount of wall that needed to be opened. I was really expecting big openings but that was not the case. I was so relieved to see the small holes that were patched.

Matt and George were also stellar in customer service. They were both prompt with returning messages and calls. I would use Premo for future needs based on their quick response, professionalism, knowledge and customer service.

Extremely good electrical work. They came out quickly when called. Were able to put in the GFI outlets and a 3 way switch.

There were done very fast and professionally and things were perfectly clean and tidied up when they were finished. They also were the cheapest priced for having them professionally installed with a licensed Electrical contractors (since this was needed for selling the condo).

Would definitely recommend them to anyone and I would use them again myself.

Richard and a coworker were here to troubleshoot a lighting problem. They were able to identify the issue and fix it quickly- and at a price I was happy with. As an owner of more than 30 rental units, I expect the utmost professionalism and reliability when hiring a contractor to conduct work on my premises, especially when such properties are inhabited by tenants. Not only has Premo Electric's services met my standards, they have far exceeded them. I will trust no other electric company to handle my electrical needs for my rental properties.

I hired Premo Electric to inspect the interior electric panels of all my inhabited units and I could not be more satisfied with the services rendered. The two electricians (Benny and Richard) showed up on time, treated my tenants with respect when conducting the inspections, and provided me with a detailed report as to the status of each of the electric panels along with recommendations to ensure the panels will maximize their utility and effectiveness.

As a result of these inspections, three of the units required panel replacements as their integrity were severely compromised as a result of wear and tear throughout the life of the units (built in the mid-1970s). Richard expertly replaced one of the panels last Friday and had another one scheduled this morning. Like in the initial inspection of the panels, Richard showed up on time and treated my tenants with the utmost professionalism by allowing them to fully wake up (he arrived by 8 AM on a holiday) and get the unit ready for his service.

Upon concluding the scheduled panel replacement, Richard inspected another electrical panel in another unit, one that was not available in the initial inspection stage, and discovered this electrical panel required immediate replacement - so much so he deemed this an emergency and proceeded to acquire the necessary parts to conduct the job. He eventually completed this second replacement by 8:15 PM; however, even after engaging in more than a full days' work, he inspected the final remaining unit that was unavailable during the initial round of inspections.

In all, Richard manage to complete everything by 8:30 PM and, despite the exhausting full days' work, still engaged in a professional and upbeat attitude as we settled the final account. I cannot begin to extol the virtues of Richard's performance today as he dutifully put in yeoman's work; I cannot emphasize my sincere appreciation of the services rendered today.

It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Premo Electric and I will exclusively use their services for any and all of my electrical needs in the future.

It is no surprise this company garners a multitude of five-star reviews on Yelp.

If you need an electrician, you will not be disappointed with Premo Electric.

Wow! If every company had this kind of customer service and excellence the world would be a much nicer place. I just had Richard in my home to repair an outlet that had lost juice. When he arrived he patiently listened as I explained my situation. He told me he would do some troubleshooting. He went up into the attic and found the cause of the problem. His troubleshooting actually ended up fixing two other outlets that had lost juice (one in the garage and one outside.) He was professional, efficient, and just downright pleasant. Within 30 minutes of his arrival, my problem was resolved and he was on his way. I couldn't be happier. This will be my Go To electrician if I ever need one again.

WOW!! Talk about customer service! these guys are amazing. For a couple of months now I have been trying to find an electrician. The problem is noone wanted to give me an estimate over the phone, and since I work all the time, it was really hard to find an appointment time that would work. Premo covered me on both ends!! their scheduling was very flexible and they came first thing in the morning. The guy was professional, friendly, and got straight to work. Any time billing is by the hour, I hate to sit around and chat. This guy got right to it. Not only did he diagnose and fix the problem, but he stopped time when he went to pick up the necessary pieces. To top it all off, one of the installed pieces was faulty, so when I called to see if they'd come back, they did NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! I would encourage ANYONE looking for electrical work done to call Premo Electric

I contacted Premo Electric to troubleshoot my Dad's house and why certain parts of his home did not have electricity since 2017. I cannot THANK enough Benny and Peter for doing such a thorough job in locating the loose wire. They tested every outlet in the house where the outage occurred. They even went up into the roof crawl space to assess the wiring up there. After awhile of searching and testing, they found one unused outlet hidden behind a curio cabinet that had the loose wire. And this outlet was not even in the vicinity where the outage is?? I was concerned the repair cost would be high, since Peter and Benny were at the house for over an hour and half. But the cost was what I expected it to be. I plan to use Premo for other electrical repairs/needs.

I was very impressed with Premo Electric. I had an outlet placed in my garage for my new electric car and a closet light replaced to LED. There was a lot of care put into ensuring this would be a quick and efficient job.

From the moment I called for the appointment, to the moment the work was done, I felt like I was dealing with genuine people. They quoted me and stayed true to their quote. They stayed true to the amount of time it would take to get the work done. There were no window periods to wait on, they arrived at a specific time. They had booties to wear in my house and they covered my closet in plastic to protect it from when the replacement process. There were a lot of little details that they do that make the whole experience seamless.

Premo just finishing installing recessed lighting in my new condo and I couldn't be happier! From the moment I first called and talked to Matt, I knew I was in good hands. He spent a lot of time with me on the phone, doing a walk through of the space. Then he got back to me super fast with a great design for the lights. Scheduling the work was painless, including the insurance endorsement paperwork for my HOA.

Then Richard came out to actually go through the plan with me in person. I can't say enough how polite, friendly, and professional he is. He spent a lot of time thinking through every detail. And again, when he and Peter did the actual work, they were prompt, tidy, and skilled. Richard came up with some very creative solutions when we ran into issues we knew might be a problem, like concrete and other barriers in the ceiling. I love, love LOVE my new lights. They transform the entire space!

I contacted Premo because my husband and I were contemplating putting our house on the market and needed to get an electrical issue in the kitchen resolved. We had just installed a new dishwasher, but it wouldn't start because no electricity was running to that corner of the kitchen. We contacted Premo and were able to get an appointment within a few days. The Premo team showed up promptly and worked quickly to identify and resolve the issue. I will never go to another business for my electrical needs. This is the second time I've used Premo Electric and if I could give them 10 stars, I would! The first time they installed recessed lighting in 3 bedrooms and a hallway. George, the owner, recommended LED lights, which has worked out great. Love the dimmers. The second time they troubleshot my wiring to determine why several outlets were not working. I felt 100% comfortable having Richard in my house (and I'm pretty paranoid about workers in my house). I trust that Richard knows his stuff and is recommending what is best for me and my family, rather than what is the most lucrative for the company. My highest recommendation!
