Kevin is everything you would hope a handyman to be but rarely exists. From the first correspondence through Yelp message, he was already helping us by offering detailed advice on how our damaged floor and cabinet door could be fixed and how long it would take. He checked in with us the day before the appointment, showed up on time and fixed our problem. He is polite, genuine and does a great job without having to supervise. We are fortunate to find him as our go-to handyman and highly recommend to anyone who needs a honest good handyman.

My first contact was with the person who scheduled Clint. She was gracious, delightful, courteous and professional.
Clint showed up, with a smile on his face, when he was expected. His work was excellent, his focus was on the job at hand and he did more than expected.

I have used Torq on several occasions now and they have been amazing.  John the owner is skilled, fast, attentive and has great integrity.  He was honest about pricing and why, and also worked to save us money where he could. He helped us plan our project and it was better with his help.  In the current economy with building prices skyrocketed, it was nice to get good honest communication.

Torq has done things in my home and extensive work on a vacation property as well.  This was a big job and he CRUSHED IT.

My oven has started to short out the breaker when I would try to preheat the oven.  It did it periodically and now every time. I wasn't sure if it was the breaker, wiring or the oven.  I called Parker Electric and spoke with Neil on the phone and described the problem. He got the information about my breaker box and the amps.
They showed up on time the next day and after testing they replaced the breaker.  They were prompt, courteous and did a great job.  The price was what was quoted on the phone. The oven is working now.

I had a small job that required adding a switched outlet to an existing circuit.  I should start by saying I have rehabbed 17 houses now and have acted as my own general contractor on most projects.  That being said, I would like to think I know how to spot the good contractors.  Scott is definitely one of them!  I left a message for Scott and he called me back in less than 10 minutes and was very personable.  He was busy (as he should be) and told me he could stop by at about 12.  He called when he was on his way and let me know he would be there in 10 minutes.  (What?  No waiting at my house from noon to 8 for someone not to show up?  Fantastic!)  He came in and we talked about the job and he got right to work with his apprentice.  In less than 15 minutes they had the job traced out and they were running cables.  He was extremely professional and hard working and did an outstanding job.  I was so impressed I had him quote a few other jobs before he left.  Call Scott for your electrical needs!

First off I have to say we used Rich from Protech in the past for a small electrical project in our nook and we were satisfied. However on Tuesday I called him in a bit of a panic because I bought a new fridge and it didn't fit into the opening because of an electrical conduit that was preventing us from pushing the fridge back. He said he had a large project and would call me on Thursday and come by Thursday afternoon. I called him Thursday morning to confirm and left a message. I'm still waiting for him to call me back (it's now Friday mid-day). This is poor customer service and I won't ever call him again!

Perry from Save Home Heat has been fabulous with our air conditioning and furnace repair.  Very professional communication from the first call all the way through parts being ordered and final repair set up.  The repair was far less money than buying a new unit.  Will definitely be using this company again.

Great service, fixed my GFCI in the bathroom real quick. Electrician was nice and helped fix my fan. They are reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone.

Cory and his helper did a GREAT job! He gave me a quote over Yelp and was able to come out in a couple of days. Of course, this being an old house, there was more to the job than I imagined. No problem. They stayed to finish the job. Great work. Great price.

I had him look at an outdoor timer for a sprinkler system and the timer needed to be replaced. He said it was a hard to find timer but he could get it and in a rush. He called me the next day and needed to speak with me urgently to install it before the weekend. The hard to find timer was $385, + $60 for the rush, plus install. My fault, but looked online after the install and at least 5 places can deliver the same unit the next day at half the cost. He also was supposed to replace a garage fan that he took to get fixed and I never heard back from him after texting and calling him. It was an expensive experience with a discount electrician.

I had electrical rewiring done and 3 light fixtures installed by RHI. They did a wonderful job and were very professional. The job was completed within a few hours. I shopped around for quotes and RHI gave me the best rate by far. I'm really happy with their service and with my lights! Thank you! Highly recommended.

Worst electrical contractor ever.  They said they would have their work done by a certain time. They didn't finish when they told me.  I gave them more time.  Then they said their work was finish and they were not.  Then they said it was my fault.  The problem is they are holding up other work that was sheduled to be done.  Will not use them ever again!

I took a half day off work today to be home for Applewood to come by.  Originally I scheduled 12-2pm.  I was then called back and told it would be 2-4pm.  I was then called back and told it would be 4-6pm.  I was then called back and told that they were too busy and had to reschedule for a different day.  Be careful when you schedule an appointment with this company.  I lost a half day of work because of them.
