We bought a 1950s house almost a year ago--one where nothing had changed since it was first built. We asked Rich to come out and give us a bid on updating the wiring.

He was by far the most thorough contractor to come out. He examined everything--looking at the service box, the connections to the house, taking a plug off the wall to examine the wiring. He asked what upgrades we were considering, so that he'd be able to make sure we had the room for it in the future (nobody else asked). He pointed out where we weren't up to code (eek, power line dragging on the roof!). I already knew after he left that I wanted him to do the work because he was meticulous and I was willing to pay extra. And then his bid came in below the other two bids.

We've not only had him update the wiring, we've had him install recessed lighting throughout the house, undercabinet lighting in the kitchen... If we have an electrical need, we'll be talking to him.

I highly recommend Rich at ProTech Electric. He's meticulous, smart, conscientious, and he's also a cool guy.

Rich and his two man crew installed a new electrical panel, installed new outlets and porch lights and corrected many issues that were already in an older home that I purchased in Northglenn.  They did a fine job, and I would recommend their skilled, reasonably priced electrical services to anyone.  I found them friendly and easy to work with, also.

These guys are awesome!  I had two giant chandeliers that were way too heavy to hang traditionally. These guys made a plan and hung them beautifully. They were on time, friendly, professional, and the cost was excellent. Thank you!

Great response .. professional service . Knew exactly what needed to be done and passed on good info . Very reasonable on cost. Hard to find someone willing to do a small fixture install and able to get the work done without waiting for weeks . Highly recommend

I had Rich and his crew do some work in my house replacing & adding light fixtures and ceiling fans. They were easy to communicate with, professional, on time, and clean. Rich took the time to explain his reasoning for his hardware recommendations and charged me a reasonable rate. He even credited me a bit of money for selecting a slightly less expensive fixture in our kitchen. I recommend Protech!

We are new to the Denver area and asked Home Depot for a recommendation for our condo that was built in the mid 90's.  They gave me a couple of names of which Protect was one.  Out of the 5 star rating I would give Protech a 10.  Rich came up with creative suggestions which I did not know existed.  When it came time to do the work they were on-time, on-budget and left our condo spotless.  Listing to Rich and his apprentice it was obvious that Rich is a REAL PRO.  I found out from Chris (the apprentice) that Rich also teaches at one of the electrical schools.  These guys are really good and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Five star service! Rich worked with my schedule,showed up on time, was friendly and efficient. I couldn't ask for more.

First off I have to say we used Rich from Protech in the past for a small electrical project in our nook and we were satisfied. However on Tuesday I called him in a bit of a panic because I bought a new fridge and it didn't fit into the opening because of an electrical conduit that was preventing us from pushing the fridge back. He said he had a large project and would call me on Thursday and come by Thursday afternoon. I called him Thursday morning to confirm and left a message. I'm still waiting for him to call me back (it's now Friday mid-day). This is poor customer service and I won't ever call him again!
