Established in 2020.
I opened up my own business in June of 2020 after 7 years of being a commercial electrician. I decided to go out on my own to produce and perform in a more efficient and positive manner.

My name is Cory Bolton. I have been an electrician for over 9 years and recently decided to open my own business. I am a licensed Journeyman and licensed Master electrician in the state of Colorado. I am very detail oriented and strive to produce exactly what the customer is asking for. I have an amazing wife and two 7-year-old kids (twins). Being an electrician is my passion and I love what I do.

Cory is an expert and STELLAR to work with!

I had BIG dreams of running a lot of amperage out to my garage for a special project. So, I'm thankful for Cory's expertise and ability to explain things in a way that I could understand -- Honestly, I was VERY under-educated in what electric work was currently running in my home.

He was so patient and thorough in walking me through what my house was currently wired for, what it would take to upgrade, and how we could still achieve what I wanted in the safest way possible. I'm beyond thrilled with the new outlets he's installed in my garage and that he was so communicative throughout the process.

I'll definitely be recommending Bolton Electric to anyone and everyone I know locally!

Don't bother calling or emailing this company. They will neither return your call or email you back. If you can't or don't want to take on a project, a simple reply saying so is proper etiquette and goes a long way.

Bolton Electronics is excellent, full stop. Cory runs a small business that aims to serve the customer in a way that best (and realistically) suits their needs. His prices are highly competitive for the area. I checked with more than eight local electricians, and the differences were striking. The savings did not come at the expense of the value of the work. Cory is competent, well-trained, and experienced. He assessed the problems with our electrical issues in a timely and professional matter and dispensed no-nonsense non-upsell advice and solutions. We have a lot more work to do, but I am confident that I have found a reliable, fair, and talented electrician for the work we want to do.

I contacted Bolton Electric because I needed to determine whether there was a way to make space in my electrical panel or if I would just have to upgrade it to accommodate a new circuit. Even though I didn't end up going forward with the project, they were extremely helpful in explaining my options and were still very nice when I informed them that I had to postpone the project. I would feel very good about using this company in the future.

Cory and his helper did a GREAT job! He gave me a quote over Yelp and was able to come out in a couple of days. Of course, this being an old house, there was more to the job than I imagined. No problem. They stayed to finish the job. Great work. Great price.

Cory came out and identified the issue. Two other electricians had been out and proposed repairs of up to $4k. Neither would have resolved the issue since it was with the Xcel service into the house. Where others might look to profit from the situation, Cory keep his customer in mind. Highly recommend!

Cory was so professional and amazing when replacing my doorbell. It was a difficult job as the last person who touched the doorbell messed up the wiring. He never gave up and worked hard to complete the job. I can't recommend him enough! Thank you for all you did!!! Gold stars all around!!

Cory was extremely professional and the work he did was top notch. I had my electrical panel upgraded and several outdoor outlets installed. Xcel was the biggest blocker for us, but I am very happy with the work Cory did and the price was very reasonable too. I will be contacting him for any future work and highly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done.
