We used Marti's Plumbing Service for an emergency water heater change-out in June. We also asked that they apply for a building permit on our behalf, and Marti's agreed.

The technician sent by Marti's did not install all of the necessary parts for the water heater. He also cut the line between the water heater and the washer and caused a leak. Only after multiple conversations did Marti's compensate us for the amount that we had paid to repair the leak.

Marti's also refused to apply for a building permit after their initial promise, so I applied for a water heater change-out permit on my own. I received the following list of corrections from the City of Cupertino's building inspector. I called Marti's many times to bring the water heater up to code, because they provide a one-year warranty with their services, but it was very difficult to reach them to schedule a follow-up visit.

City of Cupertino's List of Required Corrections:

1. Single wall vent connector for water heater requires 6 min clearance to combustibles ( Sheetrock ) and single wall connector not approved for penetrating rated assembly.
2. Provide access to vent flue to verify B-vent or install new for water heater flue.
3. Provide insulation on first 5'ft of water lines at water heater
4. T&P piping at termination to not be threaded and to terminate 6-24 off garage floor or pipe to exterior and maintain same termination clearance off ground surface
5. Water heater to be fully blocked and braced
6. Water heater bracing at lower brace to be located within bottom 1/3 and 4 above control valve
7. Tighten water heater bracing
8. Provide water bond hot to cold and to gas line.
9. Provide approved expansion tank brace and install per manufactures installation instructions
10. Provide sediment trap on gas line after the valve and before the flex

We had a flood in our kitchen that had required some plumbing work since the repair ended up damaging one of our water pipes - the repair company had arranged everything with Marti's for a 3-5pm window. By 4pm, I had received no call and after trying to get in touch with our contact person, I was told the tech was finishing up his last job and should be on-site soon. By the time 5pm approaches, I was told they would call me to reschedule.

Of course, I received no call and when I tried calling a little after 5pm, the number went to voicemail because they were already closed. The technician did end up calling me later that night to inform me that his tools were stolen (if that was the case, how did he finish up his last job?) and that he wasn't able to show up (that would have been fine had he tried to contact me as soon as his tools were stolen).

Everything was handled very poorly on their end so we ended up finding another plumbing company to take care of our repairs.

Just moved and water main broke. This is a complicated area with business unit around, and hard to identify the leaking source. James came to rescue on the night of calling, and started to search for the source. Excellent work and communication skills through out the process. When job finished, broken cement was put back to its state and really worrisome experience for me. Definitely recommend James for complicated job like this

I needed to replace my bathtub drain because the stopper broke off. The hard part was that the drain was connected to a higher quality brass p trap, rather than a standard plastic one. Most plumbers wanted to replace the whole p trap, rather than preserve the brass one. Victor said they would keep the brass p trap, and he quickly gave me a quote that was comparable to all the others. Matt showed up the next day and said he could actually do a partial repair for half the cost. In the end the drain was too broken so we had to do the full repair but at least he tried. Quick, efficient, and respectful. Thank you for a job well done.

Cleary, as you can see from the owners response to not only me, but to other customers, their service is horrible.

1. I apologize that my expectation to fix leaks was unreasonable.

2. I was rude and made him feel uncomfortable. But yet he was willing to come back and fix the sink, just wanted to charge more and more money.

3. And I guess in the spirit of rudeness, it's ok to not respond to calls / emails / texts from customers? I see that as a pattern on this page.

4. Lastly, I didn't realize that local plumbing companies (like the one I used after you) weren't considered small businesses...

Victor, in such a public forum, you should really consider how your comments come through.

I had a toilet back up badly on a Sunday morning. I tried everything I could think of to clear it, but it wouldn't clear. I called Marti's and someone was at my house in 90 minutes. He was super professional and spent several hours working through my issue, which ended up being poor construction with the wax seal on the bottom of the toilet. He fixed it and did a great job at that.

We had to get a spigot removed and capped, then a new one installed about 25 feet away from there. These guys answered the phone (which seems to be rare with many contractors) and were great to talk to. They were also available same day to get the work done and the price seemed acceptable. The work was done well and I have no complaints! Their number is definitely saved in my cellphone!

I generally don't write reviews but I thought it was worth mentioning my experience with Marti's. The original job was the removal and replacement of 5 bathroom sinks / faucets and a shower faucet in late 2019. This was not a trivial job because the sinks were installed on top of bathroom tile. Taylor and his colleague worked diligently throughout the project, arriving on time and with pleasant attitudes for several days.

Before the Covid lockdown, I noticed a leak under one of the sinks. I called Marti's and I told the friendly scheduler that Taylor was the contact person for my job. She located him and Taylor and his colleague came out and quickly fixed the leak.

Just a couple weeks ago, I noticed a small leak under another sink. Like before, Taylor was able to come out the next day to take a look. He quickly resolved the leak and also adjusted 3 drain stoppers. Two stoppers were adjusted and the third stopper needs a new part. Taylor tried to get the part at Home Depot but there weren't any appropriate parts. He advised how to get the part and said he can help install it.

I just think it is wonderful that Taylor and this company truly stand behind their work! I've only had good experiences working with the scheduler and Taylor at Marti's Plumbing! I really appreciate this.

We have been working with Marti's for a very long time and they have always delivered excellent services. Recently for the first time we had a situation where we needed some help with bathtub drain and their employee kept delaying things multiple times / days. Finally we reached out to Victor explaining the situation. Victor very quickly figured out next steps, sent another employee to fix our problem and helped resolve it on financial side too. Once again they delivered excellent service...totally recommend them for any plumbing work!!

In the end they came through and proactively fixed the issue in a sustained way! Friendly and responsive too

Original situation wasn't great - plumber didn't fix a clog and said that nothing can be done. ( yet I got an invoice). When followed up they tried to send the same guy, and of course I refused :)

The two people who showed up next fixed the issue entirely, so I will definitely hire again. I just wish it didn't start in this way, I was just about to call someone else and pay a lot ;)

All is well that ends well and owners really know what they are doing, and it cost very reasonable with their yelp special

I'm surprised the owner replied to my yelp review only 3 hours after I posted it, and yet chosen to ignore our text messages, numerous phone calls and 2 voice mails to confirm the appointment. I understand things come up forcing you to cancel your appointment, but the least a business can do is to reply back to the customer so we can reschedule in a timely manner.

Totally disrespectful of other people's time. At the end I'm glad they didn't come as we found a business who was responsive and fixed our issue in a timely manner.

My review is for a complete sewer project that Marti did for us in 2018. They replaced our leaky 50 year sewer pipes under the house with new ABS plumbing. It was done quickly and with minimal disruption. From quote to cleanup, it was all very professional with great friendly communication.

My review is also for summer of 2020. In the middle of pandemic, we had a leak that looked like what we saw in 2018. I called Marti's. They were really busy due to all the commercial bathroom re-plumbings happening due to Covid requirements. But they still found a way to quickly send someone to my house. It turned out to be unrelated to the sewer work. It was a leaky water heater line. The technician fixed it quickly and was on his way. I thought they would at least charge me for the house call, but Marti's emailed me back and said not to worry about it. I was very pleased with the no charge, but more pleased that they care about customer service after a job.

I left a Yelp message in the morning. Got a call from Victor almost instantly and arranged an appointment for an estimate. I was speaking with a few other businesses and they started giving me really costly quotes and started scaring me. I called Marti's and asked for help. These guys sent one of their other guys over in a couple of hours.

Taylor came over, looked at the issue and he calmed me down and gave me a reasonable quote in less than 10 minutes. He started working on the project and worked very hard for the next 5-6 hours and fixed the pipe leak. During this duration he had to go over to Home Depot a couple of times to get the stuff he needed. But he never bugged me or made me worry.

Let's talk about safety first, thanks to Taylor the plumbing guy who we feel so grateful that he take care of our, big issues, since the first day he show up, he took all the cautions that this difficult times required, than in comparison with other companies we tried for an estimate, didn't care about safety, Taylor was exceptional, he went above and beyond, he work ethic was very good, he even follow up with us about the issue, he treated us with a respectful manner, something that this days a lot of companies forget, in overall I sincerely recommend Marti's Plumbing, and request work with Taylor, he won't disappoint you. Marti's Plumbing installed a property cleanout in 12/2019 and did a good job. But they never closed out the permit with the city in spite of many calls. In pursuing this, I found that their contractor's license expired in 2019. I'm not sure if the company is still around, but if they are they appear to be operating without a license/bond/insurance.

Victor, the owner, messaged me after my review and apologized for the $650 sink caulking charge. He agreed that this charge was excessive and hadn't been reviewed by him because of the COVID measures. He graciously refunded $500.

As I mentioned in my original review, the reason for the 1 * was the price, nothing else. I don't have any complaints about the work. While still not cheap by any means ($1,200), I do appreciate them adjusting the charges and I'm updating my rating accordingly.

Update: After 16 months and intermittent leaks, the disposer outlet pipe they put in completely fell off. Had to call another plumber to come rework the under sink plumbing.

I got way overcharged. The plumber spent 45 minutes to install a garbage disposal you can get at Home Depot for $95 and then charged me $500. When I complained he knocked off $70 to $430. $400 for 45 minutes is $533 an hour. ..and it is leaking under my sink now. Never will use them again.

I manage multiple buildings and deal with lots of vendors.
I try to balance the overly optimistic Yelp reviews, with reviews from Angie's List which has too few to gauge well.

1) The job involved a leaking 2 inch sewer pipe in the crawl space.
2) New copper piping for washing machines, removing galvanized pipes
3) Installing new copper pipes for a Hot water heater (removing galvanized piping)

I found often the phone gets answered by plumbing techs and not office staff. Just depends when you call and how the information is handled.

After calling in the the job, I had Bernardo provide a bid for the work that we had in mind.
Bid was ready for me within 2 days. The detail was minimal, what was to be done, the materials, the actual plan.(I had received very specific plans from other vendors) However Bernardo seemed like a terrific guy that understood my needs, so we moved ahead because he assured us that he would take care of us. My understanding is that he is not a licensed plumber by trade, however he has sufficient experience in the field and he certainly knows how to solder pipes. (This is typical for most company's)

I micromanaged the project and told him exactly where every pipe had to go. The situation demanded that since I had multiple bids, and felt that I probably knew more about where shut-off valves should be installed and what the future reason I had for extending pipes beyond what was there.

To make a long story short, everything worked out well. I will use them again for my projects. I had $4,000+ worth of business but never spoke to management at Marti's, was not a problem for me since I was technically prepared for what was needed.

Here is my list of improvements for this company:

1) An experienced and Licensed plumber should be giving bids and writing the proposals.
2) Detailed work should be overseen by actual Plumber, especially for commercial (non homeowner) work.(not toilet changes and clogged drains)
3) Office help must pickup all calls, 9am to 4pm
4) Most importantly, never send anyone under a crawl space, without a backup man supporting your plumber.

Not impressed. $330 to tighten a faucet and turn up the hot water heater. This also included time to troubleshoot a shower that was stuck on hot. But the shower analysis was inconclusive; it ended with a promise for a quote. It has been a week, and we still haven't received the quote to fix the shower. At $165/hour, I'd expect more efficiency and professionalism.

I can't say enough positive things about the service I received from Matt today. He was very thorough in explaining what he had to do and did it within a timely manner. He followed Covid protocols which in these times are important. He explained the issues with our plumbing and just got it done within the time he stated. I appreciate the customer service he provided and though I don't want to have any issues within plumbing in the future, if it comes up, I'd like to have Matt and the people from Marti's plumbing fixing the issue.

We had a clogged kitchen sink, called in the mid-morning and within a few hours the sink was fixed and draining well. Taylor came out on time, and after a quick assessment was able to use our outdoor clean-out to clear the clog. This type of clog has given other plumbers trouble in the past, and they've resorted to cutting into pipes inside the house to have a better entry point, but no trouble this time and no extra work required.

Marti's Plumbing to the rescue!!! My elderly father had a horribly clogged kitchen sink yesterday. (It was full of water and gross food and gunk that would not go down the disposal) My father was stressed and had called several plumbers to come out quickly. He was bounced around and was struggling. The estimates received were very high to come out quickly the same day. I found Marti's Plumbing on Yelp and called. I spoke with Maggie who confirmed that she could send a plumber out right away. She was very kind, professional and provided excellent service. The plumber, Eddy, arrived quickly, snaked the kitchen sink, snaked the side clean out and cleared all of the build up. He too was professional and very competent. My parents are elderly (over 80 yrs old) and I appreciated the precautions and PPE that this company adheres to and uses. Maggie also followed up with me and clearly explained the work that was completed the following day. Sometimes, my folks may not completely relay detailed information to me so I really appreciated Maggie going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. I appreciate that this company doesn't just use a phone service to answer calls and they seem to care about providing a personal touch. I'd highly recommend them for your plumbing needs and plan to recommend them to friends and neighbors. They service a very large area in California which makes it convenient since I live elsewhere in the Bay Area. Thank you for the Five Star Service! IMHO -- the first responder asked for assistance because the computer system Marti's was using was in transition and they lost historical records of client jobs...ergo, she could not tell me if the tech they proposed sending was the same tech that installed the disposal without connecting the exhaust.

Erica is great - we needed a kitchen faucet and two bathroom vanity faucet sets replaced, as well as three water shut-off valves installed. She was right on time, worked quickly and efficiently, came prepared with all the equipment and piping needed, was clean and careful start to finish. There was a small glitch we discovered the next day; she came right out, spent a long time making sure it was resolved, gave advice on another, unrelated problem we had - and didn't charge anything for all the time she put in!
She was very professional, very pleasant, and we will call her again when we have any issues. AND, competitive pricing. Great all around.

We called Marti's plumbing on a Monday morning and they scheduled a plumber to visit our home that had clogged kitchen sink. Our kitchen sink gets clogged once in every 6 months. Our kitchen sink is located on the first floor above the garage and it is not easy to snake it. We used atleast services of 3 different plumber-handymen in the past to address this issue. Everyone of them complained so much about our kitchen location and they didn't address the root cause of the issue. The work they did would keep the water flowing for 3 or 4 months and the problem would appear again.

ERICA the best plumber we had snaked the drainage from under the sink and the problem was not fixed. She decided to open the clean out. The past plumbers we used tried to locate the clean out and none were successful to find the clean out in our town home. Erica not only located the clean out but she also opened it and cleaned the gunk and iron rust that has been getting accumulated there for years.

ERICA is great and thorough professional, NO COMPLAIN person, not afraid/worried of getting her hands dirty. She did all the work of lifting heavy equipments and cleaning the clog herself without any help from us single handedly. I was so amazed to see her doing all these. She charged very very reasonable amount for her great work.

I called Marti's because I had a leak around the sink faucet. They came the same day. The plumber who came took a quick look, thought for a second, and immediately diagnosed the problem. She was able to fix it in about a minute. I was kicking myself for not having realized what the problem was, but I was happy to have the problem fixed ready to get my checkbook to pay for the home visit. She informed that there would be no charge for the visit. I was extremely pleased with the service and would definitely use them again.

Messaged and called Marti's around 10am on a Friday morning, and had an amazing tech at my house by 1:45pm. No extra same day charge. I highly recommend ERICA. She listened well, was professional, gave me her candid assessment and promptly fixed my elderly mother's water leak (old house, old plumbing). Next time I have a plumbing issue at my Los Altos home, or my mother's, Marti's is getting our business.

If you go with Marti's, be prepared to haggle for longer than the actual job will take.

I called Marti's to get a leaky gas shut-off valve replaced for my furnace.

I was unable to be present for the work, so my wife had to deal with the plumber (Bernardo, I think). First, she was quoted 3-6 hours of labor and Bernardo refused to give a hard quote. He explained that we would need to do a pressure test on all the gas lines, and pushed for replacing all of our shut-off valves. This work was completely unnecessary, as PG&E had already identified the exact source of the problem the previous day (leaky shut-off valve). At this point, my wife called me and Bernardo called his supervisor, and the four of us had a ten minute long back-and-forth getting the price down to somewhere near reasonable.

In the end, Bernardo completed the work in 15 minutes, while charging for at least one hour of labor. The receipt was not itemized, so it's hard to know for sure why we were charged almost $200 for a simple valve replacement. The work was done well, but it's kind of hard to replace a valve poorly, so I don't have much comment on the quality of the work.

This kind of experience makes me hesitate to consider Marti's for more complicated work.

I had a disaster on my hands this morning when I was doing the laundry and all my toilets backed up and overflowed. It was absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I called Marti's Plumbing because of the reviews here on Yelp. Erica showed up during the appointment window and immediately got to work. The problem was a clogged main line, and it was causing the toilets to overflow because when the washing machine drained the water had nowhere to go. Erica explained the problem to me and got everything resolved in under 2 hours. I found Erica to be very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I will definitely use Marti's Plumbing again if the need ever arises

I have had a bad experience with this shop. I contacted them to replace cartridge in my bath shower. I bought the part and kept ready since it is only available in speciality plumbing store (Hansgrohe)

Steve and another guy came, quoted $145 to do the job and I gave them a go. They removed the old cartridge but came out in 2-3 pieces (sleeve etc.). Since the old one came out in pieces and the new one is a single piece, he thought we had the wrong replacement part and sent me across south bay for *correct* part. Saratoga Plumbing Supply (where I bought the replacement part) said it is correct part. Meanwhile, he left for the day while the water is shut off and was supposed to come next day. Before leaving, the other one used the restroom (no water) w/o my permission and left the whole thing in a messy state (he brought in a bucket of water from his truck to flush but it is still a mess).

Next day, Steve came but could not install it and damaged the ceramic pieces (broke into two pieces) and left saying he could not do it (water main is still turned off).

We had to endure two days w/o water while trying to figure out how to fix it. I had to buy another identical cartridge and installed it myself (I should have done it in the first place).

Worst part of this whole experience is the fact that they left w/o any solution and w/o water. If you can't fix it, you should somehow close it so we can find another competent plumber. I called them back few days later to make the same point but they were very rude and unprofessional.

If you have to use them for any reason, make sure you have a fall back option. I probably won't use them again due to unprofessional behavior. I understand the inability to fix but you can't leave it like the way they did.

Marty's has now saved us once.

The first time when we had a leak in the master bath coming from the base of the toilet. Was a major leak and required removal of the toilet.

No BS, fair price and quick work that day. MUCH better than some of the other plumbers we've had out.

Second time was from majorly shoddy work from Superior Plumbing. We found out we had a $800 water bill and that there had been a leak where Superior did work. Immediately called San Jose water to have them shut off water to the house from the street (was below main shut off line).

Ed from MArti's was here the next day and worked ALL DAY on one of the most difficult jobs I have ever seen. I know, because I was there all day to try and help any way I could.

What Superior couldn't do in weeks, Ed did in 1 day. Awesome job, thank you.

My first time using Marti's Plumbing and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm in the process of preparing a townhouse for sale and have used several contractors for various jobs with mixed reviews. As I approached the final days of prepping the townhouse and handing the keys to my realtor I noticed water coming from under the kitchen sink.

I called Marti's Plumbing and they were over to my place in only about 20 minutes. Amazing. Daniel from Marti's was very polite and friendly and after a thorough inspection of the problem he gave me a quick no BS analysis and suggested what I felt to be a cost effective solution.

Daniel's no-nonsense approach was refreshing and he took care of the job in a neat and professional manner. In the end he left his work area cleaner than from when he started. Our plumbing work we need at our newly remodeled bathroom is very sample and clear, I asked for the phone estimate, they insisted to come to our house for in home estimate.

We need the estimate to install two sample sink, two faucet, one toilet. , a shower head and a handle, we have all the materials, no leaks, no problems. The guy comes back with the estimate over $1800, I asked him why? He said because it's about 4 hours of work. How much does the plumbers charge for an hour?

The owner of the company just email me and apologized for his new employee's high bit and his bit is still over the $1000. I am not willing to spend a $1000 for a job that I already has an estimate for less than half.

Marti's second estimate is almost 3 times as much as other companies. I will keep you all posted on how it goes.

Steve answered the phone promptly after hours. They were able to come out the next day. I showed them the leak under the house and they were able to fix it within a couple of hours. I was a bit disappointed that they couldn't identify the pipe diameters by sight. He didn't have the repair materials, but they arrived fairly quickly. The cost was a bit on the high side, but still fair. I'd rather pay a bit more for quality work and quick response.

Disclaimer : Writing this review on behalf of my wife who dealt with plumber sent by Marti's 09/07/2017

Our Advice : STAY AWAY !! Could have given 0 stars if possible.

We had noticed that there was a wet patch in the ceiling in our 1st floor living room. The patch was below the toilet seat of our 2nd floor toilet. We wanted to get professional help, so after checking reviews on Yelp, my wife called up Marti's Plumbing. Marti's was prompt to send a plumber to do initial evaluation. After initial evaluation, the plumber told that it would cost $700 because the waste drain has a leak and need to be replaced. We wanted a permanent fix, so agreed to spend huge $$s to avoid long term pain.

On 09/07/2017, we were given window of 2 hours 9:00 am to 11:00 am to expect the plumber to arrive to start work. No sign till 11:00 am. Eventually the plumber (can't recall name) showed up at 12:15 pm. and started work.

He spent a few hours working in the restroom and then demanded $700 payment. Throughout work, we were in living room and didn't see any pipe being changed. We asked if the pipe was indeed replaced, and demanded to see the pipe that was removed from our toilet. The plumber went to his truck and brought a piece of pipe and told it is the pipe that he removed. That pipe had a dust layer in the inside walls of the pipe !!! It seemed that the pipe hasn't been used for months which is unlikely if it was removed from our toilet.

So, the plumber spent a few hours and just changed the gasket and demanded money for pipe change work that he didn't do. Rather than admitting that pipe change wasn't done, he tried to cheat his way by giving us a some old pipe claiming it was removed from our toilet.

Anyway, just to check if the leaking problem was solved, we flushed the toilet and found that it still leaks. So, a few hours were spent, lies were told and the problem isn't still solved.

My wife refused to pay the plumber. Later on Marti's called up for payment and we refused to pay until the problem is fixed. Why should we pay if nothing's been fixed ???

We had heard good reviews about Marti's and thinking that we encountered a rogue plumber, decided to give them second chance. Marti's have scheduled another plumber to be at our place on 9/11/2017. I will provide an updated review after this appointment.

My water heater need replacement. Marti's game me an appointment later in the day, but person who picked the phone, didn't know any details of what the cost would be, what type of heater they will install.
The plumber came on time, had a quick look and offered a quote which was more than 2 times of any other bids. He tried to give me very mixed numbers on why.
I didn't use them. I called another reputed plumber, and they did the job for reasonable price, but we ended up an extra day without hot-water :-(
I would recommend calling other plumber who on the phone understand the problem and give you a decent quote. These guys are out to rip us off.

Yesterday Victor helped me hydrojet the front storm drain of my house as well as install a new toilet.

Both of these jobs definitely needed professional help and Victor+his team did a fantastic job. He showed up on time, was prompt, and readily answered my questions. Even when he found out that the toilet he got me wouldn't fit, he went out and got us another toilet for the job.

Importantly, I needed a trustworthy person to do this job as I knew that I wouldn't be able to watch or be present for most of it due to work. Victor personally made sure to not only do the job himself, but also provide regular calls to update me on its progress.

I will be using Marti's Plumbing again for another job soon and highly recommend them!

I have two services in the last month with Marti's . First of all, they were very quick and courteius to respond and sent someone very quickly at home even during the weekend. They looked at it and fixed the problems both times.

However, I have a feeling that they are expensive . For the first service, they spend 30 minutes and charged $200 and for the second service this guys was there for less than 2 hours and he charged $450 . Earlier he said that he may have to cut the dry wall and go in it may take hours and even if it's hourly , it will cost a way more than his fixed price quote of $450 . However, he didn't have to do that since he was able to fix it by accessing the leak from the crawl space , but, he still charged $450.

So, in summary, they did a good job and on-time , but , left me thinking that they charged me to much and I should have called a few people and gotten the quote rather than just going by all the fine Yelp reviews.

This is the third time we've called Marti's, and we couldn't be more pleased. For the job today, we had the recirculating pump on the water heater replaced, one toilet fixed, and a new garbage disposal installed. All the plumbers from Marti's have been excellent. Today, we lucked out and the owner, Victor Martinez, did the work for us. He was very knowledgeable, and explained each job, and the costs, ahead. He got the needed parts quickly, and completed the work efficiently and cheerfully. Also, he cleaned up carefully.

Amazing service!
First of all, when you call their number someone actually picks up and answers with the name of the business, which was not so with the first two plumbers I called (their numbers rang to automated voicemail messages that did not even state the business's name - I wasn't even sure who I was leaving messages for).

I called Thursday afternoon and they said the earliest appointment they had was Saturday. I said I was going to see if I could find someone who could come out before then. (I did - I had an appointment with another plumber to come out on Friday. That plumber was going to charge an $80 transportation fee, by the way. I think that means $80 just to show up. Hey, it's the valley, right? We have all come to accept this kind of nickel and diming.)

Then Steve from Marti's Plumbing called me back. He said they'd had a cancellation and could work me in that day! (I cancelled my other appointment and I'm so glad I did!)

I wish I could remember the serviceman's name who showed up. He was on time, courteous and very friendly yet professional.

He fixed my disposal, which was old and apparently had just been jammed (not clogged or broken). He was also able to identify the source of the leak (the disposal is leaking from the plastic seam - where it was made, the seam where the plastic was formed in its original mold). So the whole thing needs replacing. He quoted me $250 to replace it.

Since we rent I wanted to discuss the expense with my husband to determine if we or our landlord should address this issue.

I asked how much I owed him for his trip out today, and he DIDN'T CHARGE ME! Have you ever heard of such a thing in this valley? I think it's because there truly wasn't much work that he did plumbing wise. He opened up the disposal and just gave the old girl a push start, if you will, but still. I'm so used to everyone trying to make a penny where they can I was completely shocked!

The very LEAST I can do is tell my fellow yelpers about this honest company.

I don't think the man will ever know what his gesture means to me - it's so easy to become weary from life in this valley - how utterly amazing and refreshing to find a plumber that values kindness and grace over making a quick buck.

Marti's Plumbing has all my future business for plumbing issues in the Bay Area, and if you are looking for plumbers that you can trust and respect, they should have your business too!

We called Marti's Plumbing to come out and fix our refrigerator line that had sprung a leak and was spilling water all over the kitchen floor. The next day Enrique came out to the house and inspected the situation. Wasn't too bad, would require a new water line to be run (through our filtration system) and connected.

Just to be safe Enrique also went under the house to make sure the water leak wasn't causing more damage under the house. Unfortunately that turned out to be the case, as we also had a major leak in the main sewer line running out of the house. I peered under the house while Enrique was examining the leak and was able to see large pools of water in multiple spots for myself.

Thankfully, Enrique was very helpful throughout the process. He and his crew came in multiple times over the new few days to repair the sewer line and replace the water line under the kitchen. The work was done quickly and everything is back up and running. We appreciated the quality and urgency in which Enrique and the guys from Marti's operated.

The only drawback with the experience was Marti's did refer us to an emergency cleaning service (ESR) to take care of the water that had collected under the house. At first everything seemed straight forward but upon further review we discovered they had a track record of shoddy work and taking advantage of customers who were in compromising situations and had little choice but to work with them, only discovering the problem after it was too late. Thankfully, we minimized the exposure to this company and went with a local service of our own choosing, but we sincerely hope Marti's cuts ties with them, as I only see them causing potential harm to Marti's otherwise great reputation in the area.

I purchased a Moen MotionSense faucet from Amazon.com and asked Marti's Plumbing to come out and install it. I was pleasantly surprised to call on a Saturday and get a Saturday appointment. The plumber came out at 4:30 PM on a Sat; gave us a reasonable quote; and worked til 6:00 PM to install the faucet. During the final testing, there was a leak around the back side of the base; he stated he would come back on a Sunday and re-install it as it required resetting the base. He came Sunday morning and finished the job in an hour.

Great service and did the job to fix the leak.

Highly recommend. They are prompt, honest and have reasonable prices.

I have used Marti's Plumbing several times. The first time, my hot water heater was leaking and two other plumbers told me I needed a brand new unit. Marti's told me I just needed to replace the water lines which had severely corroded and they saved me a ton of money.

Recently I called Marti's because my sewer line was backing up into my bath tub. The first plumber they sent out wound up breaking my toilet trying to reach the clog which they replaced for free. When they still couldn't reach the clog they told me I needed to install a 2-way cleanout outside the house. I said okay to this but once that was installed they still could not reach the clog. Another plumber came out the next morning on Saturday and was able to clear the clog from the tub drain. I called the manager Steve the following Monday and he agreed to discount the cost of the cleanout to a very fair price. I was happy with this result.

The plumber completed two out of three jobs I requested (hence two stars here). He had issues with the third job and said he would look for a part and would have to come back to finish it. I did not hear back from him and had to text him a few times. I even reached out to the main office in which I was promised a call back that same day, but there was no returning call. I eventually gave up and had to find another plumber. A new plumber didn't mention any of the issues the first plumber cited and completed the job in an hour. I won't judge their competency, but communication is a real issue here.

Overpriced. Did not fix the issue completely, it came back in 1 month. Also, urged to replace the ironcast pipe with plastic one and gave a quote that is more than 3x of typical cost. Turns out the pipe was already plastic.

I was having a bit of a problem with my kitchen water filter and wasn't sure if it was a simple or more serious issue that was causing the problem. Either way, I wanted to get it fixed asap because I drink a lot of water and I cannot stand the chlorine tasting water out of the tap. I called Marti's Plumbing because of the great reviews and because I like to do business with Cupertino companies.

Matthew came out within 15 minutes. I was relieved to find out it was a simple thing and he resolved my problem within minutes. It was a nominal fee he charged me, so I was delighted. So now that I knew I wanted to continue doing business with him, I asked him to take a look at another little problem I have been having with my bathroom sink drain and plug. He had it replaced in no time, it looks great and I am satisfied with the fee charged. He also made an adjustment on my guest bath sink plug before he left and I am delighted that that is in working order, too!

Matthew was very nice and I really appreciate his professionalism, as he explained to me everything he was doing to repair my sink. He also gave me some good tips. I also really, really appreciate the immediate service I received!

I have a short list of people (electrician, general contractor, etc.) who I trust and who I like to do business with for my household issues. Now Marti's Plumbing is on that list. Once I start doing business with a company, if I am happy, I am very loyal.

And I will be providing all the hardware. A service man by the name Bernardo came in and said he will charge $150 for just REMOVING the broken faucet. At this point I declined his service.

On Saturday, my upstairs toilet had overflowed or leaked and water had somehow flowed from there into a fluorescent light fixture in the kitchen downstairs. I didn't really understand what had happened and was happy that someone could come out so quickly on a Saturday. It was only 90 minutes from the time I called Rich till Dean came out. He was very professional and explained what he thought was the cause - the wax seal, primarily, but also poor condition of the fittings in the tank, fill valve/ball cock and flapper as well as the short pipe/valve coming out of the wall. He explained it well and I did not feel upsold when I decided to get the toilet replaced at marginally more than the cost of repair. We even discussed the chemicals to get for removing the grout/caulking from the footprint of the existing toilets.

He called, as promised, on Monday with an update on the toilets that he'd ordered and called on Tuesday to offer an earlier appointment. He knew I was anxious to just get things done. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it an earlier appointment and we held off till Thursday.

On Thursday, he called ahead of arrival well within the promised window, and then showed up with Jean. The two of them worked quickly and cleanly. As they found problems like the flange being significantly lower than the floor surface, they alerted me and, again, informed me of options so I could decide what to do. When they were done, Dean walked me through the repair and was wiping things down for spots I didn't even notice.

I cannot say enough about how professional and conscientious Dean and Jean were, Barring any unforeseen problems, I'll be recommending Marti's Plumbing in the future.

I used Marti's Plumbing for the first time this past week and I couldn't be more pleased. I was getting our home remodeled and ran into a problem with rust in our pipes which caused a low water flow in the bathroom faucets. We we're only 4 days away from an open house to sell our home when the problem arose. Daniel Moreno from Marti's Plumbing came to our home, told us the problem and guaranteed that he'd be finished before the open house. Daniel not only met the finishing date, but provided unbelievable customer service/satisfaction. He did a clean and great job installing the new copper pipes, and provided a very clean work area. We can't be more pleased with the job Daniel did....very clean and professional job and plumber. Daniel arrived when he indicated he would. He analyzed the problem directly. Took a picture to show me the complication. Explained that it would take 4-5 hours of intensive work to work through all the copper tubing. Assured me that the installation had been done well. Since we had decided not to exceed a certain amount for the job it wa obvious the work could not proceed. Daniel was cordial, professional and helpful.

As the saying goes, Plumbers only need to know two things: Poop flows downhill and payday's Friday.

Having replaced the kitchen faucet a couple of months ago, I guess I'm getting lazy in my old age.

I set up an appointment to find out why there is no cold water going to the tub/shower faucet that had been replaced in the house we just inherited.

After they failed to for the appointment and never bothered to call, I suspect that they may be the ones that did the original job.

Having been in the building trades as a carpenter for decades, I have done most common plumbing jobs like replace toilets, water heaters, and faucets. They are jobs that anyone with half a brain can figure out. How hard is running a snake to remove a clog?

Seems like the good reviews are all for these types of jobs. I guess a real plumbing job is too much for them to handle.

I thought we had a leak in the house - or so the water company told me. Water meter man showed me the fast turning wheel on the meter when all faucets were off. We could hear the sound of the water running.

Sound started to drive me crazy. Called Marti's at 9.15. They said they'd send someone between 9.30 and 10.30. Bernardo came promptly at 9.30 (we ARE close by!). He took a look - and thru trial and error found that all it needed was to turn a valve shut just a bit harder. No more sound - back to sanity! And no leak!

Bernardo was nice enough to not charge me anything. We have used them once before - and they are very prompt courteous and quite professional.

I had a nasty clog so far my main drain that I could not reach it with a 25' snake. I tried two other companies - one quoted me $400, another said they needed to use special equipment to work form the vent pipe on my roof. I went to Home depot and rented a machine with a 50' cable - still not long enough. I finally gave up and called Martis, since they are near my house. Mathew from Martis showed up with a good sized rooter machine in less than an hour and quoted me $160 per hour. It seemed like a lot, but I was tired and agreed.

Imagine my delight when Mathew got that clog out (65' down the pipe) in about 30 minutes, and only charged me for 1/2 hour -$85 :-) :-) He left everything clean (even wore shoe covers when he walked through the house) and working, and later I took the longest shower I've had in weeks - no sign of water backup.

Mathew also noted some iron chips that may be part of our drain pipes. They are coming back next week to put a camera down there (quoted $150) and see if my 65 y/o iron pipes are rusting through or if the clog was just a fluke.

He explained it well and I did not feel upsold when I decided to get the toilet replaced at marginally more than the cost of repair. We even discussed the chemicals to get for removing the grout/caulking from the footprint of the existing toilets.

He called, as promised, on Monday with an update on the toilets that he'd ordered and called on Tuesday to offer an earlier appointment. He knew I was anxious to just get things done. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it an earlier appointment and we held off till Thursday.

On Thursday, he called ahead of arrival well within the promised window, and then showed up with Jean. The two of them worked quickly and cleanly. As they found problems like the flange being significantly lower than the floor surface, they alerted me and, again, informed me of options so I could decide what to do. When they were done, Dean walked me through the repair and was wiping things down for spots I didn't even notice.

I cannot say enough about how professional and conscientious Dean and Jean were, Barring any unforeseen problems, I'll be recommending Marti's Plumbing in the future.

Two days ago I had some issues with the kitchen faucet and the water was not coming out and being a newbi I didn't know what was going on. I called Richie again to ask him some questions over the phone and he gave me some pointers. In the end, I figured out it was a bad faucet.

I used Marti's Plumbing for the first time this past week and I couldn't be more pleased. I was getting our home remodeled and ran into a problem with rust in our pipes which caused a low water flow in the bathroom faucets. We we're only 4 days away from an open house to sell our home when the problem arose. Daniel Moreno from Marti's Plumbing came to our home, told us the problem and guaranteed that he'd be finished before the open house. Daniel not only met the finishing date, but provided unbelievable customer service/satisfaction. He did a clean and great job installing the new copper pipes, and provided a very clean work area. Daniel arrived when he indicated he would. He analyzed the problem directly. Took a picture to show me the complication. Explained that it would take 4-5 hours of intensive work to work through all the copper tubing. Assured me that the installation had been done well. Since we had decided not to exceed a certain amount for the job it wa obvious the work could not proceed. Daniel was cordial, professional and helpful.

As the saying goes, Plumbers only need to know two things: Poop flows downhill and payday's Friday.

Having replaced the kitchen faucet a couple of months ago, I guess I'm getting lazy in my old age.

I set up an appointment to find out why there is no cold water going to the tub/shower faucet that had been replaced in the house we just inherited.

After they failed to for the appointment and never bothered to call, I suspect that they may be the ones that did the original job.

Having been in the building trades as a carpenter for decades, I have done most common plumbing jobs like replace toilets, water heaters, and faucets. They are jobs that anyone with half a brain can figure out. How hard is running a snake to remove a clog?

Seems like the good reviews are all for these types of jobs. I guess a real plumbing job is too much for them to handle.

I thought we had a leak in the house - or so the water company told me. Water meter man showed me the fast turning wheel on the meter when all faucets were off. We could hear the sound of the water running.

Sound started to drive me crazy. Called Marti's at 9.15. They said they'd send someone between 9.30 and 10.30. Bernardo came promptly at 9.30 (we ARE close by!). He took a look - and thru trial and error found that all it needed was to turn a valve shut just a bit harder. No more sound - back to sanity! And no leak!

Bernardo was nice enough to not charge me anything. We have used them once before - and they are very prompt courteous and quite professional.

I had a nasty clog so far my main drain that I could not reach it with a 25' snake. I tried two other companies - one quoted me $400, another said they needed to use special equipment to work form the vent pipe on my roof. I went to Home depot and rented a machine with a 50' cable - still not long enough. I finally gave up and called Martis, since they are near my house. Mathew from Martis showed up with a good sized rooter machine in less than an hour and quoted me $160 per hour. It seemed like a lot, but I was tired and agreed.

Imagine my delight when Mathew got that clog out (65' down the pipe) in about 30 minutes, and only charged me for 1/2 hour -$85 :-) :-) He left everything clean (even wore shoe covers when he walked through the house) and working, and later I took the longest shower I've had in weeks - no sign of water backup.

Mathew also noted some iron chips that may be part of our drain pipes. They are coming back next week to put a camera down there (quoted $150) and see if my 65 y/o iron pipes are rusting through or if the clog was just a fluke.

I had a toilet back up badly on a Sunday morning. I tried everything I could think of to clear it, but it wouldn't clear. I called Marti's and someone was at my house in 90 minutes. He was super professional and spent several hours working through my issue, which ended up being poor construction with the wax seal on the bottom of the toilet. He fixed it and did a great job.

THIS COMPANY PROVIDES A VERY POOR SERVICE. I give them one star only because they came on Saturday and didnt charge me for their 2nd visit as they didn't fix the problem.

We had our 1st floor toilet overflowing. They came and ask if we have a house clean out spot (usually there shall be a street clean out and a house clean out spot. We didn't know if we have one and where it is located. As they didn't find one, they suggested removing the toilet and using a sewer metal cable machine to open the clogged pipe. They run it 80 feet and pull it back saying the problem is fixed. They charged me a total of $384.99. The plumber also said that since we don't have a house clean out spot they can make one for us to eliminate the toilet removal in the future. It will cost us around $1800. I said that I am not interested.

At that night when we took shower and run the washing machine the toilet overflowed multiple times. I called them again and after multiple calls they agreed to send same person on Monday. He run that cable again and this time it was stuck after 60 feet. He said that he can run a camera cable to get better visibility but it will cost us additional $185.99. I said ok. He run the camera cable but didn't see much because of water and it didn't help. Then the plumber run under the house said that few pipe supporters are broken and as a result the pipes have bend and that is probably the problem. he said it will cost us around $2000 to fix it. I said that I will look for other solution.

Bottom line - they didnt solve the problem. they suggested costly option to possibly eliminate similar problem in the future.

I will not use them again!

I came in from out of town to help my folks out and discovered a couple urgent issues. I called another plumber I used when I used to live locally and never got a call back. I asked a few old friends and nobody had a referral so I was off to Yelp. I choose Marti's because of the number and quality of reviews here.

The plumber (who was not the owner of the business) showed up on time. Assessed quickly. Gave me a price I thought was very fair and went to work.

The price and service were so good, I asked about a 3rd problem that we were just going to live with, which we'd previously been told was unfixable by every other plumber who's been here (3 or 4 in the past 20 years).

A short time later, the two initial problems AND the unfixable were solved. What someone else said was unfixable, was not only fixed but warrantied!

At each step he showed me the new parts and the old parts. Where he was working with other people's mistakes (from previous work), he showed me the differences and explained why and how.

I was really glad to find them and, while never happy to spend money on necessities, was pretty glad it was going to good people.

This journey began after a relocation and subsequent purchase of a gas dryer. As if we weren't stressed enough already the appliance deliverymen refused to hook-up the gas line citing the gas fixtures /pipes were different sizes. Already a week without a washer and dryer we begrudgingly waited over the holiday weekend to fix the issue.

We contacted Marti's Plumbing based on Yelp reviews and the experience proceeded like clockwork. We called in the AM the day after Memorial Day and was given a 5 pm appointment. The plumber arrived punctually, looked at the job and quoted $125 (other plumbers were quoting $200-300 over the phone) to change the gas lines, hook-up the gas dryer, check the lines for leakage, and then helped us move the washer & dryer into place. Badda bing, badda boom.

The plumber further pointed out that the older, 'washer' drainage tube might have trouble moving the high capacity water output of the newer design washer (house construction is 1950's). So, I'll keep an eye on it and Marti's will get the business if becomes problematic...

These guys were the fourth plumbers I called, next time they will be to first. I had a broken laundry hose bib in a really tight spot in which someone had to crawl over the stacked washer and dryer for access it. After three failed attempts to find someone willing to tackle this, I called Marti's. The first guy from Marti's showed up and determined it was too tight for him. So he called, Ray. Ray showed up and handled it like a boss! Everything is fixed, and at a completely reasonable price.

Friend recommended them and I went on yelp to see what other reviewers had to say. Lots of 5 star ratings so I went ahead with them and was very happy. I told the rest of my family about them because honest plumbing companies are hard to find.

In the past 2 years, either my parents or siblings or I have used Marti's plumbing about 5 times total for various repairs and one big repair. Each time, we were satisfied. *** The technicians are also courteous, respectful and clean up after their jobs (unlike others that leave the mess for you to clean up).

***1/31/18 - had to downgrade my review by one star. Service really depends on which technician you get and most of them are good. There is one plumber that we do not like and were not satisfied with ( this person did a really poor job)..... we just request not to have this person when we need service and Marti's Plumbing complies.

I have used Marti's three times now and I have been impressed on all three occasions. The latest call was for a blocked drain, largely due to a poor design of the drainage. But instead of doing the normal up selling he just told us what the problem was and stated if it happens again soon then maybe we should replace the offending connection. So these guys are tidy, competitive and honest.

Probably like you're doing, I searched Yelp! from my iPhone. Marti's didn't come up first, but as I scanned down list for good reviews, Marti's was first with a great review rating.

I called up, and my appointment was planned very courteously. There were a couple of more brief phone chats to confirm the time and arrival (love that!). Then the plumber came over and took care of all my requested needs. I happened to have 3 sinks that needed various repairs.

I'm going to use Marti's in the future anytime I have a plumbing need.

Victor has helped me out with a small plumbing issue in the past, so his number was in the mix of plumbers to call when the time came to replace my water heater. Very happy with the Marti's team. We had a gas leak in our house and needed someone trusted to get us out of the situation. These folks figured out a way to fit us into their tight schedule. Bernardo came out next morning after PGE shut us off and did the necessary work, got our main house functional.
However, we had to cut off the back cottage. They had to come back and repipe a gas line to the cottage, it was hard, our yard has trees and asphalt, was difficult to do the trenchless. On the second day Bernando came back with the owner, Victor and 2 more guys to work till very late into the evening, got the gas line completely hooked up, tested by 8pm. In the process we ran into a water leak, the owner just went fixed it!! This is an amazing team of considerate people who get the job done. Today the inspector came by and of course, they passed with flying colors!

We got a leak in our water main pipe (from the meter to the house). We hired a leak detector agent to come out to find the leak. He was able to find one leak and we asked Marti's to fix it. However, after that fix, we discovered the meter still running while water was shutoff to the house. It means still leaking. When we got the second leak detector (first guy could not find any more leak after coming out again) out to find the leak, he realized that our water pressure was 120psi (bad news....) . It should be around 70psi or lower.

I immediately called Marti's about it. Victor (owner) & Richie came out immediately to check for me and fix the issue. I was very nervous because we were supposed to depart for a weekend trip. Fortunately, Victor took care everything for me without any delay. They went to get the parts and replace the pressure regulator and valve for me.

For sure, Marti's plumbing won't be the lowest in terms of price but you got a peace of mind in case anything happens because Victor is a very responsible owner and he will do whatever to make his customers happy. I am pleased with Marti's even though I am still working with the second leak detector to find my water pipe leak location.

Unfortunately I did not get a quote before they sent the people and did not ask for the price before they started the service. I was shocked when I was told how much the charge was. I am not a haggler and did not feel I have any other option, so I paid. But I have to vent it out in Yelp. I was surprised when Kristena reached out to me to discuss and address my concern In the future, I hope they can make pricing more clear upfront to avoid any misunderstanding. We've used Marty's a number of times for home issues over the years. They've always done excellent work. A kitchen tap replacement became loose almost a year after installation; we called & they came out that day & tightened it back up - no charge!

I do not believe these good reviews.

I called them to get an estimate on connecting a water softener (GE) to an existing softener plumbing (replacing the old softener). The job consists of connecting two pipes (hard, soft) and a little discharge hose. The quote was $1600 - I'm not kidding. Then the guy said that he need to build a new discharge pipe the leads to the street(!).

It took me 90 minutes to disconnect the old machine and connect the new one. I'm not a plumber, never had been. I'm not even good with my hands.

Friendly, prompt, courteous and competent with good attention to detail. That checks all the boxes I look for in a plumber. Actually, you can be a surly ass so long as you tick the remaining boxes. If you think you want to read more details, here you go. My circa 1997 water heater (WH) died. Few people like cold showers and WH install is out of my league. Phoned to request an estimate and organized for next day with possible install if agree to terms. I like that Marti's won't give estimates over the phone. Next day I shut off water to the home at the gate valve in anticipation that water lines to WH may need replaced as well. I decided to double down on my day off activities and completed some basic plumbing activities in the home before the pro showed up. Matthew arrived within the specified 2 hour time window, props for timeliness. Quote was comparable to other estimates. Agreed to terms, Matthew returned to shop to collect the new WH. During the interim I attempted, and failed, to open the gate valve to check my work. I phoned Matthew to give him a heads up. He returned with the new WH and that was installed no problems. He assessed the gate valve, quoted a price, we agreed to terms and he began work. The plumbing wheels fell off the bus when the gate valve failed miserably and began to leak instead of drip. I'm pretty sure it was original to the home built in 1985 so now Matthew gets to deal with that surprise. A parts run, repeated attempts to connect wet PVC pipes (hey SJWC - your water main shut off valve is leaky) and multiple hours later he was able to install the new gate valve and get us hot water into the house for showers that night. There was a tiny, slow leak at one of the gate valve junctions and we made arrangements to meet the next day to remedy the issue. Once again, good communication and arrived within the agreed upon time window. Learning curve was day before so he made the gate valve adjustments and was out the door ~2.5 hrs later.

Had leaky shower - Called Marti's first - I had someone come a give me a quote of ~ 300 (do not remember exactly). That is to just fix shower valve - Since I had older generic model, no guarantee he will find parts - If he does not, still have to pay - it is money drown the drain (He did mention he will offset this if we get additional work get this fixed).

When he started work, he realized he cannot fix it easily - so instead gave me a quote for 1400 $.

Nice part was, he did not charge any money as no real work started (he shut off water, just got started when he abandoned it - so not a lot of work yet) and he kept things clear.

After an hour, I had California plumbing come by - David was very systematic, knowledgeable had all tools needed and was creative in getting things done. 115$ later, All done - I am impressed with him.

3-4 stars for Marti's (Rated 4 here) for keeping it professional, 5 stars for California for plumbing for the quick and nice work.

I have to say that I am incredibly happy with the service that Marti's gave us. They are very professional, provided great value in their work, and did everything with utmost care. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs them in a heartbeat. Our sewer pipe had been taken over by the roots of trees surrounding our home and unlike other businesses, they responded quickly to our call. Bernardo was the guy appointed for the project at our home and he did fabulous work. The day that the city inspector was going to check the work for approval, he was given a timeline between 7am and noon, and was here parked early in the morning so he could complete the project as soon as it was approved. That was amazing to me and highly recommend Marti's Plumbing services.

Exceptional! I called Marti's with a small (very small) problem late one morning. They had a open slot that afternoon, but I had to leave before the slot ended. No problem. Victor arrived right at the beginning of the time slot, assessed my problem, gave me a price...and then told me how I could do it myself and save money. Blew me away!

After spending most of the day snaking our plugged sewer line without success I called Marti's around 3:45 PM. They were able to get Michael out by 4:40. He was professional, courteous and well-equipped with a significantly larger snake. He had our plugged line clear (80 feet down the pipe) and all cleaned up in a half hour. The whole experience with this company was most pleasant, including their efficiency and their fair service rate. Highly recommended.

Went with Marti's based on reviews on Yelp. Dean called ahead and let us know he was on his way. We have a persistent problem with our downstairs toilet which backs up once in a couple of months. He was able to clear it but was concerned about some noise he heard while clearing the pipe. Since we have this persistent issue with it, we went with his recommendation to send a camera down the pipe. He did not have the camera with him and promised to show up two days later in the afternoon after his days off. Since the toilet was working properly, we agreed to the schedule.

Two days later Dean called again ahead of the appointment and showed up as scheduled. We sent the camera down and was able to identify an area where gunk had built up. He was able to locate the exact spot of this buildup. Thankfully it is not under our house. It was actually right under a clean out valve. He blasted the area with water and was able to clear the gunk out. Unfortunately the gunk buildup is due to the poor installation done by the builder. It will take a lot more $ to fix.

Overall great experience with this company. Although they are not the cheapest. Dean was much more thorough than the typical 'franchise' guy if you know what I mean. It was worth every penny.

Made an appointment to have a leaking sink fixed. Plumber never showed up or called. When I called the office, they complained that the previous shift hadn't left them the correct information, but did nothing to address my issue or even reschedule.
Update: within 48 hours of the no-show, 3 people from Marti's plumbing called/texted/emailed me to apologize and try to reschedule. Before getting those calls, I had another plumber do the repair, so I can't comment on Marti's plumbing services, but they definitely put a lot of effort into trying to make things right after an initial mistake.

This was our second time using Marti's Plumbing. We called 2 other plumbers who were unavailable to our urgent need for assistance. Our kitchen & bathroom sink were backed up for 16 hours without improvement through 4 bottles of Draino type fluid and boiling water. The woman (Amanda) who answered the phone was prompt, polite and helpful. She approximated help within 2 hours of my call. The tech (Derek) arrived in approximately 1 hour of my call. He assessed the situation and fixed the problem in approximately 1 hour as well. He also was polite, helpful and expedient. I will continue to refer them to others and continue to give them 5 star service review. Thanks for being so awesome! :)

Nothing like waking up to the unwelcome surprise of verrrrry low water pressure in your morning shower and knowing that as fervently as you hope it has nothing to do with anything on your property (like, it's not your responsibility!), odds are that it is. That was my experience, and sure enough, the problem was on my property. The roots of one of the trees had caused the water pipes to break, sending water cascading down the street. It's in these emergency situations where you wish you had a plumber you know and can trust, who's responsive and competent and reasonable. Based on the reviews, I called Marti's and THANK you Yelpers, you did not lead me astray! Marti's proved to be all that and very deserving of their stellar reviews. They showed up super fast and were able to repair the pipes. By the next morning, my water was back on and working great. I hope I won't be calling them again any time soon, but I know that should the need arise, I know just who to call.

Excellent service. The plumber came out to check out a bad odor coming from our bathroom which I suspected was due to backup in our sewage pipe. Turns out it was due to the fact that the sink and bathtub drains had dried up (we hadn't run the water in that bathroom in awhile) allowing sewer gas to accumulate. It was a simple fix as long as your plumber is knowledgeable, which he was. Just in case he did a few tests to make sure there were no blockages in the pipes. Victor and his crew are awesome. I had a leaking faucet and I needed it replaced before a party I was having. I had him replace it. I also told him I had a leaking toilet. Victor from Marti plumbling followed up and visited my house to check the 2 faucet leaks and one cold water issue. Victor was very thorough in reviewing each issue and not only did he fix it he also described the cause in detail which was educational for me as a home owner. He fixed all three issues in the most efficient and economical way. He answered all my questions and left me with an amazing experience. I saw a big water spot in the formal dining room and realized that the water leak was from the upstairs master bedroom toilet.

I called Marti's Plumbing and they sent Glenn in an hour or so.

Glenn looked at the toilet and the water stain and was upfront in his assessment. He found that the base of the toilet was not installed completely. He had to cut through the sheetrock to check for water leaks, and luckily it turned out to be the wax ring.

I liked how Glenn explained what could be the problem and how he was planning to address it. He did a very clean job as well.

While I still have to fix the sheetrock, I was very pleased at how the leak was fixed by Glenn - five stars!!

I needed someone to check out a couple leaky toilets, and originally called another plumbing service I had used before. They told me that they could get someone out in about a week, so I scheduled the appointment.

But... of course I went on Yelp and found this local company with great reviews. I called, and the lovely woman answering the phone asked me if it was okay if a plumber could come out in the afternoon. THE SAME DAY! I even got a little discount, since all three toilets in the house seemed to have the same issue.

Go with Marti's. They really take care of their customers.

A year after I got my tankless water heater installed, I contacted Victor from Marti's plumbing and told him that the hot water fluctuates between hot and cold. Another problem was that since the water heater was installed at a location far away from all the outlets (faucets and showers), it took FOREVER for the water to get hot and we were wasting a TON of water everyday. Victor understood my problem and was very sympathetic. I've told him about the long wait times to get hot water when the unit was installed a year ago. At that time, he recommended a recirculator and I didn't like that idea. This time, Victor offered to install a regular tank water heater for me at no charge. So I went to buy the new water heater and he came to install it for me. This installation took about half the day too. Now I get my hot water quick! I am a happy camper! Thank you Victor and Thank you Marti's Plumbing!

This is what I mean when I say that Marti's really takes care of their customers. They are willing to help you even if it means a slight loss for them. They don't just take your money and run like a lot of other plumbers. They wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the hot water situation at my home and they went the extra mile for me (literally because my house is in San Francisco and they come from the South Bay Area). Thank you and I hope this review helps other people realize that its not just the cost of a job that counts, its the way the people doing the job take care of you (even after the job is done).

Getting immediate plumbing service is not easy in Bay Area. The major concern for most of home owner is if the plumber is reliable in the service, quality and charge. We often check reference from others.

I had my water leaking in my house for few days. I called and left voice mails several times to a plumber who was referred by my good friend. But, he never return my phone call. On Friday, before a long weekend, I decided to make a try to find a plumber nearby. I knew that I would make decision by what I learnt from review. Marti's company information and review make me feel comfortable to call for its service

Within two hours, I got water leaking issue fixed. Marti's delivered its service as it says on its company information. 5 stars service, no doubt.

I will follow up months later if the same water leaking issue gets fixed exactly. That is related to Marti's work quality.

We used this plumbing company for he first time on a Saturday afternoon to unclog the main drain. Their voicemail said someone would contact us within an hour or so. They did. Derek called to give an estimated time of arrival but he was off by an hour because of the work on the previous job. He arrived and was able to resolve the clog. He suggested that we might want to consider adding a clean out somewhere closer to the street to make it easier for future access. Estimate was spot on.

BTW - we call 4 businesses who's Yelp information said they offer 24/7 service. Marti's was the only one who called us back.

We're very happy with the service we received and will definitely call Marti's Plumging for our future plumbing needs.

I have nothing but praises to sing for Marti's Plumbing. We dealt with both Victor and Ricky and both were very pleasant experiences. We have been working on a remodel for our kitchen - our contractor gave us a bid and then when the work came in all of his sub contractor quotes were MUCH higher than he had put in his original bid. After a very negative experience with the electrical work - and seeing higher plumbing bids I said to the contractor, Can I make a phone call? My neighbor had mentioned a friend of their son's . . Victor, who is a plumber and is a really nice guy. THE BEST PHONE CALL WE MADE!!

Victor from came by. Their bid came in much less than the contractor's bid - they did all the construction prep work and then came back and installed all of our appliances when everything else was done - as part of the job. Our contractor was even going to charge us extra to install appliances! Ricky and another guy did most of our work - both times. They were nice and pleasant - and WORKED THEIR BUTTS OFF! I know our contractor would have charged us for some of the extra time and challenges they encountered - but Marti's did not. They were great. I even paid them a little extra because I couldn't believe how great AND HONEST these guys are to work with - after a mediocre experience with all the other players in this remodel.

I will definitely use them again and will, without a doubt, recommend them to EVERYONE. I believe good service should be rewarded - there is so much of the opposite out there. Thanks guys, our kitchen looks great!

Dean arrived from Marti's plumbing and was great. Being a Sunday and for same day service we expected a higher charge, but the cost was very reasonable. Marti fixed our nasty toilet clog, which we had tried plunging ourselves for hours, he fixed with his device in about 20 minutes or less. Love Dean and Marti's Plumbing.

We called Marti's they came out and efficiently fixed the problem and charged us less than the Drain Doctor! They were polite and knowledgable. I highly recommend them. (Before calling Marti's we had called called the Drain Doctor to fix the problem. They charged us $275 and right after they left the drain backed up again. So, we called them back and they said they would need to replace the pipe leading out to the main and would charge is $1500 to do so. I felt like they were trying to rip me off!)

Dudeeee, I just called them like an hour ago. And the sewer problem had just occurred right after I showered so I had no make up, blah blah blah, just like what every chick would say! But anyway, Marti's got the job done like right away! Super, super nice. And I thought it was cute how he took off his shoes prior to coming into the house. :) ( Not because I'm Asian) LOL! The price was fair and since it was 155 because my main sewer thing was jammed I just gave him 160. It was worth the extra $5. Compared to other plumber's, these guys' prices are definitely better. I agree with William R, Marti's wasn't the first thing to pop up on Yelp but I'm super glad I chose them. Overall, friggin awesome! Will call again if anything else happens! I had to get pressure test for city inspection and Ritchie helped us on this. Ritchie is very thorough and follows thorugh the task. He detected the gas leak and fixed it quickly. He was there during the inspection and made sure it passed. Always available on the phone - one Sunday morning, our water heater started making noises, we called him and he showed up within the hour. I had my main sewer pipe clogged on the Saturday of the Memorial long weekend. I called Marti's Plumbing Service based on that the shop is only one block away from my house. Victor, the owner of the shop, answered the phone but he was about to go to a birthday party. Over the phone, he must have sensed my anxiety to have the problem fixed; Victor told me he would come over right away. Indeed, Victor showed up in about 30 min, I then realized he actually came from his home which is 30 miles away from my house. I thought he was just nearby. Soon enough, Victor unclogged the pipe and solved the crisis. Victor's prices are lower than other plumbers I know. instead of charging me extra for holiday work, Victor even offered me a big discount, because my house has an existing main sewer cleanout.

Victor is kind, honest, professional, courteous, ... I will not hesitate a bit to call him or refer to my friends and relatives for any plumbing problems.

The system works! ... I came to Yelp looking for help with the water heater that had started to fail me the night before. First I tried to figure it out on my own with just Google ... my findings there weren't satisfactory... tough to navigate, and pretty much flying with no visibility.

Then I went to Yelp and searched in my area. Marti's was one of like 3 or 4 I narrowed it down to. After calling a few other places and not making contact, I figured ok, they have 17 4-5 star reviews, let me try ... here's how it went:
(aka, *Reasons why you should select this company!* )

1) The receptionist on the phone was polite & friendly

2) She informed me that onsite visit estimates are free... hello?!?! This was after I talked to another company that wanted $110 to just come out to see the issue

3) There was a technician available to visit my home within the hour

4) The technician , his name is Gene, arrived in less than 40 minutes

5) Up against a tough water heater set up (imagine a compact car engine where stuff is not easy to get to), he patiently worked through all the parts and considered the different possible issues there could be. And even though there was not much space to work in , in the end he was able to fix it just right; when the company before was quoting me $1500-$2500 for replacement.

6) Gene made sure the entire area where he had been working was cleaned up before leaving - I like that. Trust me, not every person who comes over for repairs (even though they are licensed professionals) cleans up all the time, so it's appreciated when people have that kind of professionalism to not only take care of the job, but leave things in the way they should be.

So yea ... everyone at the company I spoke with was friendly, supportive, and wanted to help me get my water heater issues fixed. It was a shot in the dark when I called - but now I have a plumber I will be comfortable to call in the future. Again, like a good car mechanic, sometimes such folks aren's so easy to find ... so when you meet someone who is professional like that, you definitely put that magnet on your refrigerator! :)

I had Martis plumbing replaced a water heater. Our heater started leaking on Sunday. We called them thinking that they can call us back on Monday morning, instead we got a call from Victor the owner right away and he told me someone will call on Monday morning. They came on Monday morning, did a good job and gave me a fair price. They clean up everything and was professional. I would recommend Martis to other people.

A great team of plumbers .. I called Marti's around 9am and by around 9:20am Erica came out to clean out a clogged waste line from house to sewer .. she was professional, described to me the various options and their prices .. unfortunately the snake broke early in the procedure so she called in for backup .. Dragan arrived and saved the day. Very experienced and professional .. solved my problem in no time. This is the third time i have relied on Marti's Plumbing and without hesitation i will be calling them first the next time i need a plumber.

Marti's plumbing folks are awesome. I called them mainly because they had 5-star rating in yelp. My overall impression - Victor and Richie are both very trustworthy and cost competitive.

I just got a rather big service done. They pulled permits and got city inspection done. They even completed work not originally on quote just because inspector asked them to fix things that were not even touched by them. They worked very hard, overcame challenges that were not anticipated till all the issues were completely resolved. Not just that - they are polite and took care to not dirty the house even a bit. All this for the same original price quoted by Victor.

Needless to say I'm their customer for a lifetime!

The guys were here to install a tankless water heater which is quite a bit work. They spent some quality time making sure it was located correctly, all the fittings were professionally done and solid, and all the trash and old water heater was carted away. Victor Martinez replaced a high end water heater and a recirculation pump. He showed up on time, gave me a bid, offered to also replace the wood bottom floor of the water heater room. Very professional, effective, honest. Good attitude and fair pricing.

I want to highlight Victor as I interviewed other plumbers, including so called 5 star Yelp plumbers and, let me tell you, he stands out. I wonder how these other plumbers got high ratings...

I recommend Victor to my neighbors and friends. I will call him again.

I discovered a broken water pipe in the morning so I had to shut off the water until I got it repaired. I found Marti's on Yelp with good reviews so I gave them a call.
Vic answered my call and sent the tech Rich out to my house in 15 minutes.
Rich gave me a reasonable estimate on a couple of options.
I agreed to the job and Rich got started immediately and the repair was done in a few hours. He did a professional looking job and was very courteous.

I used Marti's a couple years ago for plumbing problems and had a good experience so I called them again to fix a few different issues in a fixer upper house that I recently purchased. Richi came out numerous times because I didn't foresee the problems all at once. Richi is so reliable and trustworthy. It's absolutely worth it to pay a licensed plumber to perform quality work which he will stand behind. For example, when replacing a toilet, Richi discovered the old flange was installed too high and whoever did that went ahead and put the old toilet on top which was too high, then stuffed lots of shims underneath with lots of caulking to hide it. Since this was not quality work I had Richi replace the flange correctly. Since I'm not an expert in plumbing I rely on my plumber to do things correctly. Without a doubt I can trust Marti's Plumbing. They are professionals that provide a great service and are available when needed. This is very important to me if I have a plumbing emergency that needs fixing asap!

Once again, kudos and props to the fellow Yelpers for this great referral.

Since I've consulted with Yelp a number of times for different things and have never been led astray, I once again consulted Yelp for plumber referrals. Based on great reviews, I decided to call Marti's Plumbing for my kitchen sink plumbing issues.

I called today at around 11:00 a.m. and reached Rich, who told me that he could come over at around 1:00 p.m. I received a call back very promptly telling at around 12:45 from Rich, telling me he'd be sending over one of his techs, Israel.

Israel came over and spent the next 3 1/2 to 4 hours fixing everything that was wrong, and then some. I replaced the faucet and the garbage disposal, and he found some pipes in pretty bad shape. Israel dug in and showed them to me, recommending replacement. I was really glad that he took the initiative to look and make sure everything that needed fixing was highlighted. By the time he left, Israel left everything in the sink in good working order, ensuring that there were no leaks and that all the connections were correct, and now I don't need to worry about plumbing issues in the kitchen for a good long while. The cost was reasonable, considering the time and effort.

I would recommend this outfit very highly. As mentioned, they are extremely responsive to calls, their work is of high quality, they are honest, they take the initiative to make sure that issues are highlighted, and their prices are reasonable.

Well, it turns out to be a big miscommunication with my previous comments. I spoke with Victor, the owner, directly and resolve the issue. Bottom line, as my previous post stated, they did come quickly. The work was done well. Both Victor and I agreed that a quote should have been given before work started; but, at the end of the day, the work was done well and quickly. They were also nice enough to refund some of the money to meet their competitors. Overall, it is a good experience and it is good that I was able to talk with Victor directly to explain my side of the story. I know how busy they are and my job is not exactly a big job; so, that goes to show that they do care about their customers. They are also willing to go the extra mile to make things right. I have recently had another WONDERFUL experience dealing with Marti's Plumbing! I needed to have my old water heater removed and a new one installed. That work was done for me last week. Erica was the main plumber but was helped by Ed and another plumber during part of the installation. But the main plumber in charge was Erica. The plumbers were exactly on time, they brought all necessary tools, they worked extremely hard and were very diligent about doing this job correctly. It was a somewhat time-consuming job, but they never once complained and had a great attitude the entire time. Today, I called Marti's. A new refrigerator had been delivered to my kitchen, but the plumbing line connecting from under the sink to the new refrigerator icemaker needed some help/tweaking. Even though this was very peripheral to the work that Marti's had done, Erica was nice enough to return here, today, and to get the plumbing line connected from under the sink to the refrigerator so that the icemaker can now operate. I inquired if I should pay extra for this, but was told by Erica that it was OK, she would just consider it part of the original job. Wonderful people! Great work! I don't look forward, ever, to needing a plumber, but I am so glad that I know an excellent plumbing company that I can call when such help is needed!

Nice guys. My water heater stopped working. Called Friday night at 10 pm, and got them to come Saturday morning at 10 am. Quickly re-ignite the water heater for me.

Downside is that it's quite pricy. Cost me $125 to ignite the heater. The guy told me that he can waive the the fee if I decided to replace my water heater, but have to be within 24 hours. I asked whether he can deduct $125 later from installation fee (after 24 hours), he said he can't. This is a little surprising as it's a quite common business practice.

Had a problem in our bathroom running the sink and flushing the toilet would come out of the bath tub. We poured 3 bottles of drano and 1 full bottle of liquid fire down the tub. Then spent 4 hours snaking the tub thinking thats where the problem was. After a weekend of no toilet we gave up and decided to call a professional. So happy we did. Called early monday morning at 9 am and was given an eta of between 11am and 1pm. At 11am ...the plumber was at the door and 46 min later we were able to use the toilet sink and tub without any back ups.

I didn't see anyone had a review about repiping whole house. Since this is a big job, I got multiple quotes. Marti's plumbing wasn't the lowest one but very competitive, also I found Victor trustworthy and knowledgeable. He seemed to be committed for his customers too. He estimated to come at around 6 pm but since he got busy with other work so he couldn't come on time. He did keep me updated about the delay. Also he made sure to stop by my house later at night (9 pm) and gave me the quote. His employees did a great job and Victor made sure all work was done completely with quality. He also took care of misc other small plumbing things. I was waiting to write the review to make sure everything is fine. It's been over a month now and I haven't found any issues. I am highly recommending him to my friends and family going forward.

I'm not upset just wondering what is going on. Here is my honest concern. 1. You gave us a 1 star review. What exactly does that mean? 1 star means we give the worst service ever. Usually companies that receive a review that low, is for things like ripping a person off or just doing a horrible job. We never even got a chance to give you an experience at all. Now I do understand that we didn't get back to you, but on this day in question I did call a woman back and she told me she went with someone else. I thought this was you. We have been very busy doing high Quality work so please forgive us for making a mistake in these busy times. This doesn't imply that we are a bad company.We are the type of company that will go to your grandma's house to do a small job and tell her we forgot our invoice and we will send her one. We never do. Many occasions we have done free work for those less fortunate. Last week I put in a water line and a drain line for a woman on dialysis, the other plumbing companies told her the job was to small. All my plumbers as well as myself are just a couple of good ol boys trying to make a living. Give us another chance call us up. We still would love to have you as a customer. I am really impressed with the quick response and great service. Just an hour after my initial call about severely clogged tub and sink Carlos was at the door. He looked at things, asked couple of questions, clearly explained what he will do, gave quote, and he was in business. Things were not simple but Carlos fixed everything in timely manner. His quote was accurate and generally very reasonable. I am not looking forward for another plumbing emergency but I know who to call when it happens.

I called Marty's plumbing today to fix my toilet. Service call back promptly and John came over on time as usual. John told me the problem. I needed special part for my kohler toilet. He told me I could do it myself. After flailing at this for a while this weekend decided to have him do it. Everything is working great they always provide great service . I will be using them exclusively in the future

Just had a nightmare experience getting a tankless water heater installed. It took four days to complete the job... After the heater was first installed, two water leaks developed under the house. One leak sprayed water onto the house sub-floor for the whole night. I discovered it the next morning after I crawled into the crawlspace to see why a large puddle was forming under our house. There was also a significant gas leak on the hoses connected to the heater - fortunately it was installed outside, so our house didn't blow up! After the install began, we were informed of significant additional expenses. There were a number of other significant problems during the install (like the side of our house getting scorched from a blowtorch they used), but enough said. Perhaps Marti's has some good installers, but after this experience I would never use them again and certainly wouldn't recommend them.

I may have written a previous review, and I'm writing another now. Marti's Plumbing has been great to work with. We had a problem show up with an on-demand water heater a year and a half after installing it. They right away sent out a repair person who fixed it in a good mood, in little time, and he did not charge us. We've never had less than great service.

I called them for a backed up sink. They came out within a half hour and gave a free estimate. Dean explained what he was doing and worked quickly and efficiently. I was very happy with their responsiveness, professionalism and quality of work. If I have another plumbing need, I will definitely call them.

First off, ignore the 1 poor review by the lady below. She had no business even writing a review, since this company did not work for her. She can give the guy who finally did her work a poor yelp review in about 5 years when the mixed copper/steel piping starts the electrolysis process and clogs up. Cheap doesn't pay in the long run..

I rent at a house in Foster City, and my home owner agreed to replace all the piping in the house with copper, as it had galvanized steel from the 70's. Victor, Richie?, and his team replaced everything with copper. I mean everything, including outside hose taps, nothing skipped. The copper weld work was masterful and experienced. You never know what a maze it is behind the walls until you actually see it for yourself. Marti's attacks every little issue relentlessly until it is resolved, they are always pursuing perfection. They like to leave a house with bonus additional improvements also, so it's even better than just a piping job. They threw in a bonus under sink floor for us, and did a way better job than the existing one. Then, to the patching and painting. I can't even tell there was any work done, the painted walls are invisible now, down to the correct texture. These guys are not just plumbers, they are really experts on all house work. I would use them again for any of my plumbing needs.

Enrique saved me!! I saw water in my yard and wound up having roots blocking all the drainage from the sump pump. He was so kind and explained everything to me. He went above and beyond to ensure it was taken care of right for a very fair price and was kind and professional and helpful throughout. Replacement of toilet supply supply line and valve was quick and efficient. Plumber explained every detail. Gave me a price break for that and toilet re-installation since I had already removed the toilet and old valve. It was still very expensive but I haven't gotten a plumbing bill yet from any one that seemed reasonable. I will call them again.

Recently we had to install a new toilet bowl in our 2nd bath and replace the old one. So, we called up Marti's Plumbing and got an appointment the next evening, but the guy couldnt show up the next day due to some emergency work where he got stuck in. So, he gave us a call and fixed an appointment for 2 days later. On the 2nd appointment he showed up in time and did a good job in replacing the old toilet bowl with a new one. Great job!!!

Excellent experience. Had pinhole water leak in copper elbow inside wall. Called at 8am and was given a commitment that someone would arrive same day between 1 and 3 in the afternoon.
First pleasant surprise: John from Marti's rang my door bell at the beginning of the time window, a few minutes past 1, not the end, as is often the case with these kinds of commitments; so we started on a positive!
Second positive: While he agreed the leak was likely in the wall, he took the time to go under the house in the crawl space to be sure it was not there before ripping into the sheetrock unnecessarily. Unfortunately, it was in the wall, but again I was impressed he was looking for ways to minimize unnecessary damage to the wall if he could.
Third positive: Replaced elbow, fixed leak in a timely manner, and explained what he was doing as he did the work. Thoroughly cleaned up after as well.
I would call Marti's again. They arrived when they said and promptly identified and fixed the problem.

I have a business in Campbell and needed a new water heater installed. It was a complicated job to run the gas over as the current water heater was electric. Victor and Richie came to do the job and it was done quickly and without any problems. They both were very friendly and professional and FAIR prices with no up charges. I called them a couple of months later to install a hand sink required by the health department and experienced the same outstanding service. I rarely write reviews but this place goes way above and beyond. Great job!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!

These guys have come out to my home twice, now. During the first visit, following another plumber from my home warranty company saying that the (kitchen) plumbing stoppage job was huge and would require special equipment, etc., I called Marti's Plumbing. Gene came out and fixed the problem with no difficulty, at all! More recently, I had a foreign object accidentally fall into the toilet bowl and got flushed, by accident. Dean from Marti's Plumbing came out to try to fix the problem. It was a tough plumbing problem! But Dean showed amazing perseverence and kept at it until the plumbing problem was fixed. Two experiences with Marti's, and both have been VERY POSITIVE!

I stupidly clogged my kitchen garbage disposal the day before leaving on vacation. Though late in the day, Victor and another worker from Marti's Plumbing Service came within 15 minutes of my call. They were polite, fast, clear in their explanation, thorough in the clean-up and interested in getting and keeping new customers. The cost was very reasonable. I'd highly recommend their services.

Honest. Fast. Great service! I had a what I thought was a leak in my tub and called Victor on a Sat afternoon. Although his team was far away, they came to my house really fast. It turns out my tub wasn't broken, it was just an overflow valve that was supposed to be there. I had disassembled it, but Victor put it back for me, tested it, and didn't charge me at all. I felt embarrassed but he said not to worry about it and just them a call the next time we wanted to do something. i definitely will. These guys are great!

They are great! Rich is the man for the job. He manage to fix what was the problem. An honest and very appoachable man. Told me exactly what was the problem and the estimate of the cost. This was my first time doing business with them and They are very good. Clean,efficient and reliable !!!

I highly recommend Marti's Plumbing. We called at 9pm to see about getting our water heater repaired. They were at our house in 20 minutes and had a new thermocouple installed in an hour without any hassle at all. Very pleasant and clean, all at a reasonable price. A 100% positive experience.

First off....I'm not a client of Marti's....yet. I HAVE seen how their operation runs and how the owners treat their employees. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. Being a business owner myself for almost 30 years, I know when a company's management has the right mindset of how to treat customers and run a clean business. Victor started from scratch, worked hard, and built a great business. Hats off to he and Kristena....keep up the good work!

Victor saved us from a flood in the bathroom late on a Saturday night. He was very calm and reassuring, qualities I wouldn't normally look for in a plumber, but nice when you're in the middle of an emergency! He was willing to do the extra work to find parts to repair the vintage fixture instead of replacing with a newer model and his prices were great. The plumber I usually use wasn't able to help us until the next day so Marti's is now our plumbing company.
