Simply Electric Electrician
Having just purchased a Nissan Leaf, we were looking for someone to install a Level 2 charger.  I did some research on Yelp and included Simply Electric on my quotation list.  Minh came out on a weekend to do a preliminary look-see without charging us and gave us a quotation right then and there.  Later that evening, my wife and I decided to green-light the installation.

The day before the install, Minh sent us an email reminder, which should be standard, but it is a nice touch.

On the day of the install, Minh arrived as scheduled at 8:00 a.m. and his assistant arrived a few minutes later.  Our job required the routing of wiring from the back of our garage, which is where our panel is located, to the front of the garage, which is where we wanted to put our charger.  This required both long runs of AWG 6 wire and conduit.  Also, the spot where we wanted the charger had no wall (only studs) so Minh installed some plywood to mount the charger on.  Minh also made sure to install a heavy-duty socket, which is something that we didn't even think about asking for.

During the install, Minh periodically consulted with me to approve the location and arrangement of the charger, and he cheerfully accepted my suggestions.

The conduit was routed around the perimeter of our garage, and not in a straight line from the box to the charger, which I really appreciated because it looks so much better around the perimeter.  Also, the new breakers in our panel were newly labeled with a professional label-maker - another nice touch and shows Minh's attention to detail.

The job was all wrapped before noon.  Simply Electric accepts checks, but not credit cards.  Very happy with how this job turned out.

Julio and his buddy rolled up (On his day off no less) and figured out the problem and fixed it quickly and professionally.

These guys were awesome to talk with and were consummate professionals. They were always checking to make sure they didn't damage my stuff and more importantly were very methodical in their trouble shooting.

As a software engineer I can admire and respect their systematic process in troubleshooting and fixing the issue.

Formosa Electric Electrician
I called Roger at 7:00AM when both my dishwasher and garbage disposal stopped working last night.  He squeezed me into his schedule right away and came to my house at 9:30AM.  Roger was very professional and walked into my house with hospital scrubs over his shoes so that he would not dirty my floors.  This showed me that he was very attentive to customer satisfaction.  He literally fixed my problem in 30 minutes and replaced my bad switch.  I would definitely recommend Roger if you are looking for a true 5 star, knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced professional electrician.

We love working with Duke & Benny! Highly recommend Duke Electric.

They're both super friendly, knowledgeable, and do high quality work. After completing the job they leaving the site spotless, you can tell they take their time and care about the job.

California Power & Light Electrician
When we decided to upgrade our electric service panel from 100 amps to 200 amps, we started our search for an electrical contractor on the Diamond Certified website.
After contacting some of the listed contractors and acquiring written estimates for the work needed, we decided on California Power and Light. It was clearly the correct decision for us.
Henry and his associate, Doug, did the requested work and we could not be happier! Every aspect of the project was done perfectly and to our complete satisfaction!
Henry and Doug were on time, the work was done to perfection, the work was neat, clean and completed on time and to specifications.  I cannot stress enough what a complete pleasure it was working with these gentlemen. I always worry when hiring someone to work on our residence. I hate surprises. With California Power and Light, all the work was done EXACTLY as discussed.
I give California Power and Light the highest possible rating and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.  Consider California Power and Light if you have the need for an electrical contractor, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Henry and Doug!

Kevin was the first person to respond to my inquiry to install a Level 2 charger for EV in my garage. We corresponded by text and yelp, and he was super responsive. His responses were direct and helpful. When he came out, it was clear that he knew what he was doing as a contractor and experienced electrician. The technical installation (after running necessary diagnostics and discussing the logistics) was fast and smooth. Clearly an expert in his trade. Highly recommend...

Fuse HVAC Electrician
My experience with Fuse couldn't have gone smoother!

Because I was looking to get solar panels, I decided to opt for a heat pump over a standard A/C unit to take advantage of as much of the electrical generation as possible. It was surprising to me that quite a few places in the Bay Area did not carry/have the ability to install heat pumps!

Of all the companies that I requested quotes from (and there were many), Fuse was the first to respond and provided a greater array of options for my needs.

The actual installation day was quick and the workers were extremely professional and accomodating of my many questions! The final inspection also went through without a hitch which given their level of professionalism was to be expected.

Overall, everything from their customer service to their product offerings to their workers were top notch and I have nothing but the highest praise for the entire operation!

Caio came by to install an outdoor cam/floodlight and also ran a conduit into the garage for power. He was super easy to work with, very responsive and reasonably priced. I'm not an electrical expert, but as far I as I can tell, the work looks clean and he cleaned up after himself when complete. Highly recommended, would definitely hire again. Thanks again Caio!

Dang Electrical Services Electrician
Jack did the recessed lighting and various electrical work on our house. He was extremely responsive and responsible. Within a week of reaching out, he was able to coach me for a list of things to prepare for and come out with his crew on time in the morning to get the work done. He did a great job and went above and beyond, even helping install an outdoor power outlet receptacle when his crew took longer than expected. Jack responded instantly to any questions and gave us a competitive price. I can't think of any other electrician to come back to when I have any electrical work that needs to be done.

David Electric Electrician
My townhouse was built in the 80's.  Over the past 17yrs I've had several shorts occur (a receptacle melted, a switch burned up and a wirenut melted)  The breakers never tripped.  I assume it was faulty receptacles,  switches or connections in gang box in the wall.  I had another short a few days ago and and could not locate it myself.  I called a electrician I knew (who does commercial) and was referred to David Electric.  I called left a message and Albert called me back quickly.  He came out the next day he was on time and ready to work.  As soon as he opened the door on my breaker panel, he told me it was a major fire hazard and needed to be replaced.  The panel was known to not trip a breaker when it should and thus wires in the house get hotter and hotter in an overload situation until there is a failure - just like I had multiples times in the past.  I later looked up the details on the panel (Zinsco GTE-Sylvania) and found many reputable sources and news articles indicating the breaker panel had been recalled/pulled from market in 1984 (4 years after my home was built) and was a major fire hazard.  Albert quoted me $1500 to replace the panel with my choice of Siemens or GE panels labor, parts, and tax all-in. (I looked up pricing and in the Silicon Valley that is a fair price.) Permit was all set. He even offered to do the online application for the permit. He then proceeded to find where the short was and gave me a very good quote for that too.  He spent 2 hours searching and troubleshooting, including working in the attic.  The repair took another hour in the attic and about 30 mins rewiring two sets of switches in the primary bedroom. (troubleshooting, new wire, materials and repair $380)   He noted I had a freezer in the garage and offered to put a new dedicated circuit GFCI receptacle in for that which would reduce future break trips as my garage and primary bedroom were all (unfortunately) on one circuit and thus spread the load out. (new receptacle location parts and labor $160).

David was friendly and very respectful of my home.  He was neat and clean, cleaning up after himself.  He communicated with me and answered my questions.  I did ask for an estimate and he gave me numbers via text message which was fine.  He did give me detailed written invoices.  He communicated via text message quickly and clearly. His pricing is very fair based on what I saw in the marketplace and I have no doubts that his work was to code and done very well and professionally.   He's a nice guy and just wants to do a good job.  I would absolutely call Albert and David Electric back if I need any further electrical work.   I'm so happy with his work, I'll be recommending him to my Homeowners Association as we have 10 other townhouses with the same dangerous breaker panels.
