Mike from Tri-Phase Electric is one of the most responsive people I've ever had the pleasure of working with.  I hired him to do a wiring job we needed quickly in November 2016 when we bought a CNC machine.  He found time to fit me in and did a great job. He also guarantees his work for 5 years.  So, when the machine stopped working in April, and we found out it was that the breaker blew, he immediately came out, swapped the breakers, and didn't charge me a thing, and we were right back up and running.  As we moved on to a new CNC machine and a second machine this past week, he again came in with a reasonable quote and found the time to fit me in quickly.  The fact that he'll work with me via text in the evening, after normal working hours, to help quote a job I knew I needed done quickly, speaks volumes.  Small business owners, and hardworking people in general, will do what it takes to get the job done, even outside of normal operating hours. He knew I had a business to run and I needed the services performed quickly.  He'll always give you options too, so don't be afraid to discuss alternatives.  Don't waste your time with other electricians.  Whether it's a small house project, or a large business project, Mike will take care of you.  He's always pleasant and professional.  A true pleasure to do business with.  We will continue to utilize him as our business needs grow and change for our shop.

Dmitry helped me convert my garage into a shop.  Dmitry and his team installed a subpanel, additional 120 and 240VAC outlets and recessed lighting.  Dmitry is excellent at communication and provided a very competitive quote.  Him and his crew were prompt, organized and provided a high level of workmanship.  I'm very pleased with the way the garage turned out.

Lights weren't working in half the house after I installed some new fixtures, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. They responded very quickly to my request for a quote and provided a fixed price for a 1hr diagnostic that would include fixing the issue unless it required a significant amount of extra work and materials.

They found the shorted light switch within 10/15 min and the faulty neutral wire after that. They had the fix done in under an hour. Very professional, quick, and honored their fixed estimate. I hope I don't need to call them again, but would reach out to them first with any electrical issues. My dogs liked them as well!

I typically don't do reviews but these guys totally deserve it. I had been talking to many electricians trying to find the right people for the job for some time and luckily eventually found Mickey.

He has great communication, returning all my calls and texts. He's punctual, always on time and never wasted mine. He's a knowledgeable experienced electrical professional that knows his trade. He was quick to take stock of the job and make really good recommendations on how to proceed. He knew how much work, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. He was matter of fact and no BS. He knew how to navigate the city permit process and inspections and let me know what to expect ahead of time and handled the inspector and PG&E disconnect and reconnect appointments like a pro.

He and his crew did a great job upgrading my 100 amp electrical panel to a modern 200 amp capacity.   They drove in two separate grounding rods to bring me up to code. We pulled circuits in attic for future solar panels, a big one for car charger in garage, two new multi function Panasonic whisper quiet bathroom ceiling fan/heat/light and wall switches, one for each bathroom, they are great! We pulled circuit for new heater and air conditioner to relocate in the attic, new attic light and on/off switch per code, and a new attic fan.

They also did a few side jobs while we were at it,  we cleaned up some old issues, repositioning laundry plug receptacle, new garage door opener power receptacle, and replaced 4 old can spot lights in kitchen with new sealed LED spot lights,  and grounded the water heater. They also pulled a circuit for the external air conditioner condenser in the back of the house. There might be more but that's all I can think of now.  

The whole crew was great, did great work, clean work, no shortcuts, everything was professionally done.

I was looking for a good electrician to establish a good relationship with for my current and any future electrical needs, I'm happy I found Mickey and his crew, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Ted was prompt in his response, they came in with all the equipment needed and finished the tesla charger installation and inspection in one day. The work was clean and they paid attention to every small detail to do the perfect job. I will highly recommend Ted and his team and I'm planning to use them for future electrical work around the house.

Had an emergency with the A/C, and contacted Electricians on Duty, very helpful and quick response.

Elvin helped to install an EV charger. His team also helped with securing city permits. I really appreciated Elvin's communication and responsiveness over SMS. I also think the pricing was very fair and I really liked that all my interaction was just with 1 person, whereas with other companies I had to deal with not just the contractors/technicians themselves but also salespeople, office managers, estimators, etc. which made things needlessly complex. I look forward to working with this company in the future.

Guy came to my house un screwed face plate screwed it back on out of line. He touched something and sparks started to fly, left ceiling fixtures hanging. Asked for and took $245 for no work completed(he was in a hurry to get to L.A. for the weekend) I had to ask for refund minus $75 visit fee.They never offered to return and complete the job and re attach fixtures to ceiling(they're still hanging). This company did not offer to complete the project. I would not recommend this company. Where can I find a full service, state certified and licensed electrician in Oakland with some design experience.............

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

I am very happy with Jamil.  He was thoroughly, respectful and cleaned up once the work was done.  I would highly recommend him and plan to use him again.
