Mike was great to work with. I called him after hours on a Friday night and he managed to squeeze me in the following day!  I needed to upgrade my sub panel in the garage as it was completely full and I'm about to add two AC units in. Mike B is an amazing electrician. We wanted to install recessed lights in our house. When Mike visited the house, he carried all the different recessed lights. He guided me through the LED lights and we decided to go with the 4 LED lights. His quote was also reasonable and we decided to go with him.

They say that a good electrician will do minimum cuts to the drywall. Mike fits the bill. He also carries a inspection camera which has a probe to survey the inside so that he does not have to cut the drywall.

Overall the work was amazing and we installed 28 LED recessed lights. We also moved the TV over the fireplace and did a bunch of other things like putting a new electrical circuit in the garage.

James was the perfect gentleman and professional. He was the only person available on the weekend and able to come on short notice. Customer service and satisfaction were obviously very important to him. We will definitely be calling him again.

Our Whirlpool double oven went kaput....not a good thing so close to the holiday. Gary was responsive and provided excellent service. He was diligent in troubleshooting from panel to oven. Will absolutely use and recommend his service.

I was having a problem with the garage outdoor light where it wouldn't turn on. Made an appointment for the same day I called with Richard he was very nice and professional. Richard took a look at it and inspected the light and moved the top of the light and it turn on. I was a bit embarrassed that it was something so simple. I was surprised that Richard didn't charge me for coming out.  I would definitely call them again.

Called TD West again for breaker tripping and Salvador troubleshooted it down a receptable box hitting ground.  Once he fixed it, the breaker stopped tripping and reset held steady.  Wife is happy now that she can teach piano with lights in the room.  Thanks for coming out on short notice.

We live in Fremont and searched on Thumbtack for a licensed electrician that was available fairly soon.  Several unlicensed people also offered their services, but we chose Coastside Electric, whose owner, Mickey, is licensed, and we are very happy with our decision!  My husband and I had a variety of electrical work done by Coastwide Electric this week, and we are totally pleased with their customer service, the fair prices, and the quality of their products and work.  The owner, Mickey, was present on the job the entire time his team of three assistants worked.   He constantly watched their progress and gave them praise and ideas for the best results.  Mickey and the workers traded ideas with each other, as well, which was nice to hear.  Their end plan was perfect for our lighting wishes!   They worked together diligently and in good spirits...even the young man who had to crawl under our house twice!  Our new lighting system is awesome, and we are so pleased to recommend Coastside Electric to everyone :-)

I planned to buy a far infrared sauna and the unit required a dedicated 120V 20A outlet. Meigs was not the first electrician to give me a quote and consultation. However, he was the first one to point out that I did not really need any work done. You could also say he was the only person to point that out because I didn't ask for any more quotes. Meigs mentioned that all bathrooms should have a 20A circuit. As long as nothing else was drawing power from any of the outlets of _all_ bathrooms, the sauna usage would be fine.

Meigs is personable, honest and fair. Unfortunately, after his advice, I did not have a real job for him. However, if one comes up, I would not hesitate to call Meigs again.

This morning, we lost power to part of our house.  Apollo was able to come, identify the problem and fix it within the same day.  The service was fast and courteous.

My outlets in my kitchen stopped working. Alley electric first tried to help me fix the problem over the phone. Once it was confirmed that my GFCI was probably the problem, the scheduler had Jordan at my house within about an hour. He was professional, quick and efficient. He even used a leveler to make sure the outlet went back on perfectly straight. Their pricing was upfront. We will call them for any future electrical need.

I contacted Raphael through Yelp and he responded quickly. He came out and replaced all the exterior lights around my house. He was very professional and did an excellent job.

Since then, I've had him come out and do several more jobs. He's always been very responsive and his work is top notch.

I recently asked if he could install dimmable ceiling lights for a picture we had ordered. He had great recommendations and had our lights ready to go when our picture arrived.

Once in a while, you find a company that exceeds your expectations. Raphael is my first call whenever I need help from an electrician.

Had Araz Electric install a 50amp EV charger.  It required a long run of 6 gauge wire from the panel at the opposite corner of the house to the front exterior wall.  They were thorough inspecting everything and explaining the options, gave a competitive quote, and the work was done cleanly, keeping the wiring safely in the attic and high up in the garage.  Very happy with the result, would highly recommend.

The gentleman that helped me, Kfir, was professional and did an outstanding job on helping me with a faulty electrical socket in my garage. The the high marks in the yelp review drove me to use them, and I highly recommend now. Will use use them again (will request Kfir, but I'd say he represents a company culture).

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

ed is the man! very professional but approachable and chill guy! he mounted my 55' that i tried to do myself! did his work quite smoothly and very respectful of your home space as well! i'd highly recommend him for the services he offers as he does great quality work. you definitely won't be disappointed as he really makes sure before leaving you're happy w what was commissioned. will surely call ed again for any future work! and you should to!

Contacted Right Away Electric (Jonathan) to get a quote on adding 2 to 3 new electrical lines for a master bath renovation.  He responded to my request for a quote promptly and was able to get out the same morning to see the work site.  Meeting him went very well - he was prompt, courteous, professional, honest, and gave me a good idea what the work would entail.  By that afternoon, I had his quote in hand and gave him the green light go go ahead.  He was flexible with the start date (I moved it out from a Monday to a Tuesday and he accommodated with no problem).  Tuesday morning came around and he was early to start at the agreed time (great!).  Working efficiently, he did the job as discussed and even went ahead and helped wire one of the lines to be optionally 240V - something I had thought about but wasn't fully sure.  With his expert help, I can now run 120V or 240V depending on my future needs.  Very satisfied with his work, his diligence, attention to detail, responsiveness, and courteous demeanor.  I wish Jonathan all the luck in growing his business and look forward to calling upon him again in the future.  Thanks!

I don't recall the name of the woman I talked to on the phone, but she was very helpful in setting up the appointment.  The electrician sent, Jaime, was great about getting there and addressing the problem.  I have a small rental property and my tenant called me to tell me power had gone out in the bedrooms.  I called around and Pacific Coast Electric, Heating, and Air were the only ones who could get someone out that evening.  Jaime got out there, tracked down the problem, and corrected it.

But more than that, he was able to describe the problem to me over the phone such that I was able to begin making further plans.  My primary concern was safety and he addressed that.  But having it working was a very close second and he addressed that.  Long term reliability is also a concern and he was able to provide some realistic, solid recommendations to address that.  They weren't really what I wanted to hear, but they were exactly what I needed.

Given that this was after hours, emergency work, the cost was also quite reasonable.

Based on the recommendations Jaime made, I will be trying to schedule some extensive work sometime in the next year.  I guarantee that Pacific Coast Electric, Heating, and Air will be my first choice for doing the work.
