Mike came by to check our oven. Power on but no heat. He managed to diagnose the problem and fix our oven the same week he did our breakers. This guy can do it all. Definitely would call back and recommend to others for almost ANY problem

Used Tri-Phase to replace some lights throughout my retail business.  They were great to work with - helped me to select the exact bulbs for color temperature.  Also helped me to see that there were several approaches to replacing the lights (going from fluorescent to LED) - with tradeoffs.  Was very satisfied with the quality of the work and their fair price.

We had a bunch of our emergency lights out in our business. We replaced batteries but still ended up with many that were not working. Since they were over 12 years old, we decided to replace them. I reached out to our usual electrician on many occasions trying to get something scheduled (they even penciled me in but never showed up) so I decided to look for other options through Yelp.  Best Electrical Services was one of the respondence.

They were lower in price then some of the others that could provide proof of insurance which was necessarily since this is a business. Their reviews looked good, so I took a chance. They responded to my questions quickly, booked me for the following week, and actually showed up on time. They were very easy to work with and handled the installation quickly. I didn't have enough of the lights on premises so they told me to text them when they came in and they would fit them in. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

I had couple of leaky dimmer switches need to be replaced. Brian responded to my request promptly with a flat price quote. He accommodated to my schedule and even helped to pickup new switches at Home Depot on his way. No nonsense no hidden charges. He fixed my electric problem as I expected. Great service! I had some issues with my power going out intermittently in a couple rooms. Came out early Monday morning and checked my panel and swapped two of the breakers. So far so good. We also discussed upgrading the entire panel in the future. I really appreciated that he explained everything to me clearly, gave me the pros and cons and never made me feel pressured to make a decision immediately. Will definitely go with TD West in the future for my electrical needs. Highly recommended!

Wow.  Honest, honest, honest.  I called a few weeks ago on a Sunday in the late afternoon. ( I had found this company on Yelp.)  My call was answered right away and very professionally by Meigs.  He asked me about my situation and I explained what I could.  He asked if I had tried the basics, which I had.  Meigs suggested that I call PG&E as it  sounded like a problem that they would take care of...for free.  He said that to be sure to call him back with any questions and that he could come out in a couple of days if needed.  I called PG&E and it was a PG&E problem.  Meigs could have certainly come out to my home, looked around, not been able to fix anything and charge me a lot, but he didn't.  (I had called ANOTHER electrician, explained everthing and he said he could come out for $175.  I guess his company was unexperienced.)

Thank goodness for Meigs and Hewlitt Electric.  This company is now on our family and friends' list!  Again, thank you Meigs for your professionalism, assistance and honesty.

After buying a house, I wanted to upgrade my 100A service to 200A and replace my 1950's era Zinsco Firestarter panel, and install a grounding rod while there.

Ted's estimate was the best, and I'm really glad I chose him.  It's a relatively straightforward job, but I was very pleased with the results.  He was very easy to get along with and answered all my questions.  As a life-long renter until that point, I had a lot of questions.

He took care of all the city permits and dealt with the inspector when he came by.

I may look into some wiring upgrades in the future and when I do, I'll be looking Ted up.

Chris and Michael were my two electricians, for a collection of fixes (GFCI outlet conversions, a light switch replacement, and some re-wiring of the garbage disposal). They arrived when they said they would, answered all of my questions, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Would definitely hire them again.

I contacted Raphael through Yelp and he responded quickly. He came out and replaced all the exterior lights around my house. He was very professional and did an excellent job.

Since then, I've had him come out and do several more jobs. He's always been very responsive and his work is top notch.

I recently asked if he could install dimmable ceiling lights for a picture we had ordered. He had great recommendations and had our lights ready to go when our picture arrived.

Our project includes upgrading our existing 100A circuit breaker panel to 200A, add a 60A EV charger, a 240V/50A outlet for a new electric cooktop and a spare 240V/50V for future electric water heater in the garage.  Elvin was exceptional from the quoting process to job completion. He always kept us informed of the actions that he would take during the work.  The job was done professionally with high quality and exactly as agreed in the contract.  There were no surprises and the total cost was reasonable.  I highly recommend Araz Electric.  I would definitely hire them again.  

Btw, the owner is also a great guy.  He stopped by during the project and got our power up and running early. Kudos.

Fantastic experience with CA electric and Kfir! We did a project through Yelp and contacted multiple businesses, we had over 8 responses, 5 quotes and 4 on-site visits. We both felt most comfortable with our electrician Kfir and confident in his ability. (Full disclosure here, my dad is a recently retired electrician but currently a trainer for electrical safety at our main electrical company serving Northern California so I validated my quotes and experiences with him before choosing who to hire). Kfir was very pleasant to work with, answered all my queries professionally and promptly and was quick to relay knowledge on the work without it feeling condescending.

To note on the work quoted and performed: all garage electrical with 3 new outlets, conversion of a single light bulb to 4 led panels, a 220 car charger and electrical for a gas tankless water heater outdoors. Because of all this work, we also had to upgrade our sub panel. Out of all the companies we worked with, we already knew this was needed but he was the only one to call it out and not try to overload our main panel which had a slot but not sufficient utility amp and one of the reasons we felt confident in his abilities and long term consequences of not sizing load correctly. When we asked for fire rated materials according to code (since our bedroom is above the garage) it seemed it was forgone conclusion which also made us feel safe on our choice.

The work was done on time (within a day) according to schedule, and with care for the mess that inevitably came into our home. The new panel was installed, labeled and tested.

I'm really happy with the work done and will do work with Kfir in the future. It's always great to have an electrician to recommend as well!

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Jamil and his crew are outstanding. He knows his stuff, honest and forthright and does a thorough job. I engaged him a few times, once to fix some sagging doors and the second time to put up some industrial racks at my garage. Jamil is clear in communication, timely, does outstanding work and goes out of his way to help beyond what is expected of him. Highly recommend.

Yesterday (7/27/22), I made an appointment to get some electrical work done on my brother's house. I was impressed that Pacific Coast was able to get us a next-day appointment.

Andrew Hernandez was our technician. He text messaged me that he was on his way. He arrived before the scheduled 9:00am appointment. Andrew was polite and professional the entire 2 hours or so that he worked. Andrew is an
awesome technician. He completed multiple tasks on my brother's house. he clearly explained what he was doing and why it needed to be done, all of this in real time.
