I was referred to Mike from another friend who had his main panel done by Mike. I had him install a car charger in my garage. I was happy with his work and would refer him again

We needed a new Chargepoint 32-Amp EV charger system installed after our 16-Amp unit died. We requested quotes from four vendors and Mike was the only one that stopped by to look at what we needed. He determined that part of our old installation could be reused and so his quote was half of the next highest quote.

Mike installed the device on a Sunday morning and it works great. He was very pleasant to work with and kept us informed. I'm very glad we hired Tri-Phase.

James called when he said he would, showed up on time and did everything right - he was very considerate and explained everything in detail. Won't hesitate to contact him again in the future.

Gary and his wife are the best! Super friendly and professional! Not only do they do an amazing job, they will also explain what they did and how they did it.

Prices are very good and reasonable.

Called Richard this morning, at my house in 10 minutes (lives close by). Assessed the work, scheduled to come back in the late afternoon, finished just shy of dinner time.

Reasonable price for two (three way switch installs), double check my switch installs, and provided valuable information regarding code for converting two prong to three prong receptacles. All in one day!

Richard is wonderful to work with, knows his stuff, and a good troubleshooter (e.g. Checking my switch installs and correcting where needed).

Dmitry came and installed a 240 NEMA 14-50 Tesla charging receptacle at my house.  He is a real gentleman, honest, humble and professional. Does not overcharge and takes pride in his work.  He is my go to guy for all my electrical work.

Brayan and partner replaced my dual light switch and gfci outlet in 20 minutes! They were very professional, courteous, and kind. I look forward to working with them in the future!

We just recently went through the ordeal of having our electric dryer break with a need to replace it.  For background, we have an older (~50 yr old single story house).

To keep a long story short, we went through a couple of replacement dryers.  The first one was delivered, but when we went to use it, it didn't have any heat to dry (it did the spin cycle fine).  A second unit (same model, brand new replacement) was sent, this was installed, but this one also didn't produce any heat.

At this point, we figured we needed to do a little more investigating, so I used Yelp to do a quote inquiry with 4 total companies to try and help us.  I sent out my quote request in the morning.  TD West Electric was one of the three that responded in total, and they were actually the first one that we made contact with.  Tom gave me an initial quote where they would come out to do a diagnosis, which could then be credited to any work that would need to be accomplished.  I was actually able to schedule Din to come to our house that same day after I got off work, so that he could use his volt meter to see what was going on.

He was methodical about figuring out our issue, which at first required him to switch off our 30A breaker at the main box to then remove the dryer outlet and to probe at the wires directly in the back of the outlet.  From there, he got a solid measurement on one leg (the expected 120V, while the other leg was only reading ~20V).  With our older house, we have aluminum wire, and it was pretty apparent the condition of this high current wire was reaching its end of life.

From there, he isolated the bad wires with the twist wire crimp connectors, to make things safe.  He gave me an estimate for the repair, and two methods that they would try to employ.  Luckily, he was able to pull new copper wire through the conduit that was already in the wall.  We got a new breaker in the box as well, since the original was in bad shape.  We have a crawl space under the house, so running the wire down through there to the electric box was the other option they would have used.

Overall I had a great experience with them, with our unfortunate circumstance of needing electrical work done.

We lost one power on one side of the kitchen. Mickey came by and fixed it. He did not even charge me for the job. I will definitely use him again.

GREAT service . . quality work and VERY reasonable!  We just went through a remodel in our bathroom/bedroom and a few things went wrong so I called Hewlett after reading all of the Yelp reviews.  Brian came out to our house and fixed what should have been done the first time.  We have gone through Hewlett several times now and had nothing but great service, not to mention Brian is a pleasure to work with!!!!  Look no more if you're looking for a GREAT electrician!!!!

The BEST ELECTRICIAN EVER!!!

We had an electrical fire in our house last night in our dining area. The FD came out and made sure everything was safe. I emailed Ted at 12:30am and he responded so quickly. I called him around 9am this morning and he was at our house by 10:30am. Found out later that he worked us in while doing another job, talk about AMAZING service! We also needed someone to repair drywall for us and I happen to ask Ted to see if he knew anyone and he was able to work another miracle for us and his amazing guy Lee from Specialty Textures (which I will also be doing a review for) was able to come out today and patch up everything! It looks as if nothing ever happened. I can't thank Ted enough for coming out to us as quickly as he did. Everyone else told me they were too busy until January 2018. Now we are able to have our Christmas party with our family tomorrow as scheduled all because of Ted.

I also used Alley Electric and same rating as previous review.  He is very knowledgeable and with reasonable prices.  He had to buy some parts to fix my 1970 flourescent lights, but he did it all in a few hours.  Now I am good for another 30 years!  Wahoo!!  Thank you Wesley.  Dona

Our electrical connection on the weather mast from roof to PGE connection exploded on Friday night.  I contacted Raphael through Yelp and he responded right away so I called him.  He was able to come to our home to give us a free quote and explained everything in detail clearly.  We hired him after talking to a few other electricians.  When it was time to do the work, Raphael helped me every step of the way to get a permit and to contact PGE for reconnection.  He was available by text and phone call and responded quickly.  Would definitely hire him again for other work around our house.

Elvin helped to install an EV charger. His team also helped with securing city permits. I really appreciated Elvin's communication and responsiveness over SMS. I also think the pricing was very fair and I really liked that all my interaction was just with 1 person, whereas with other companies I had to deal with not just the contractors/technicians themselves but also salespeople, office managers, estimators, etc. which made things needlessly complex. I look forward to working with this company in the future.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

My mom was returning home after surgery and needed a few critical things taken care of in her home. Jamil replied to my request for a quote promptly, and agreed to squeeze us in the next day. He fixed a broken toilet, a few poorly wired lights and outlets that had been out forever, and evaluated / made recommendations for a few additional projects. He was prompt, courteous, skilled, honest, and affordable. We've already signed him up for a few new projects.

Jonathan was efficient and reasonably priced when installing my nema14-50 outlet. He got the job done in less than an hour from arrival to departure. I would recommend Jonathan for any future Tesla outlet installs.

Calling in for service was very professional and gave me an appointment quickly! Our service technician Wally was on time! Very polite and professional. Also very knowledgeable!
