I recently moved to Orinda and I used Fitch Electric for some minor electrical work (outlets, switches, sconces) in December 2021. It was about a 3 hour job.

Martin was the electrician and he did a great job. He showed up early, wore a mask, answered all of my questions, and completed the work efficiently. He also figured out a switch that had stumped another licensed electrician.

The prices were reasonable (and transparent) relative to other vendors in the area. It was also really easy to schedule an appointment by calling the number listed. I honestly thought this whole process would be a pain but it was super seamless.

I highly recommend Fitch and plan to use then for any future needs.

Randy and his team completed a whole house rewire and panel upgrade at our place in Castro Valley over the summer of 2021. They were extremely patient with all our questions, were sensitive to our schedules, and did quality work. We had a small issue recently and Randy called back right away and fixed walked us through the fix over FaceTime. We would definitely hire them for future electrical work.

Juan and his team are beyond good. I had a lot of electrical panel and circuit work to do. Had several companies come out who wanted to charge huge rates and create a complicated process.

We loved working with the Got Watts team on our recent solar and backup battery project. We had been thinking about installing solar panels and a backup battery for some time and the PG&E safety shutoff programs in the fall is what finally made us commit. We reached out to Got Watts immediately and were lucky enough to with Sam on our solar design. She answered all of our questions, provided a TON of thoughtful options for us to consider and helped us pick a system setup that was within our budget and achieved the 110% energy offset that we were seeking. She provided detailed specs using satellite images of our roof and designed for areas that get the most amount of sun. We also got a Pika backup battery to give us reserve power in the event of a full shutoff. Once we picked a design, our project coordinator Lindsay took care of all the paperwork and PG&E applications. She provided a very helpful step-by-step guide of what we should expect before, during, and after the installation. The install only took 4 days! James and Alex were absolute wizards in getting all of the panels, wiring, batteries, and panel upgrades installed. They were extremely easy to coordinate with when they needed our input to make a decision. James and I would even Facetime when it came to setting up the internet connectivity for our backup battery and he needed my help to test our network while I was at work. When it was all done, Jeremy, who runs got Watts, and Sam, our designer, came out and gave me a detailed overview of the system especially our backup battery. We've had it up and running for several weeks now and it's so satisfying to watch our entire house run off of the sun during the day and then switch over to the battery during peak PG&E billing hours. We're excited that our electric bills will essentially vanish and that we now have the peace of mind during any outage scenario all thanks to the Got Watts team! We would absolutely recommend Got Watts for solar and electrical work.

Hancock did an excellent job with installing EV charger at our new home. He was pretty quick with the installation and even provided couple of workarounds when we hit a snag. Overall I would recommend him to everyone needing charger installation.

I've had Steve and Mike of Southwest Electric work on my house multiple times, and they do really terrific work.

They can do a wide range of jobs, including simple home fixes to They are a locally-owned business, extremely personable, and very professional in their work. Steve (the owner) always comes out personally to check on the job, and they get things done promptly and correctly. As my house is a 1970's era house, it really helps to have somebody who knows all the particulars (oddities?) of how the wiring works in the neighborhood.

I've had SW Electric work on my pool equipment, my interior lighting, add a ceiling fan, add attic fans, etc -- their prices are always reasonable and they take care of me quickly.

I hired Jason to install a line of recessed lights along a hallway. It didn't turn out well. The lights were crooked and the final bill was more than I expecting. We can debate whether the bill was fair, but there is no debate about the lights. A laser alignment tool showed that some of the lights were up to an inch out of line with the others. In the end, I had to pay another electrician to redo the light placement and a drywall contractor to repair the unnecessary holes in the ceiling. This was a rudimentary mistake that you would not expect from a professional.

We got a spa in the spring. We paid for an ungraded 60amp but they installed a 50amp and promised to come back when one was in stock. It has been 7months, and with one no show at a promised appointment, no amp. Even though it was paid for.

These guys were great! Very professional, from email/text updates to the technicians that performed the quote and the work. They installed 2 upstairs ceiling fans with lights, putting both on a single switch with dual control. Very slick! The price was good, they arrived when expected, and did a great job on pretty short notice. Highly recommended, and we will go back to them with any future electrical needs.

Absolutely would call Brian back for any future electrical needs! Scheduling was a breeze, and Brian was responsive and upfront about his rates. The day-of, he was able to quickly troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues we had (going into it, we thought it might all be one related issue). He obviously is very knowledgeable, but on top of that he's super friendly and very respectful of our space.

We hired Odom Electric to install and setup stage lighting and reroute some switches.  The work was done on time.  It was clean and everything is in perfect working condition.  We couldn't be any happier and highly recommend Odom Electric.

Great electrician and very fast! Came relatively on time and brought own equipment. I had minor work done with my breaker box and he knew right away what the issue was. We will use Lam again for future electrical work!

Clever Electric removed old florescent tubing, closed up the ceiling indentation and installed 7 LED recessed lighting fixtures.  You can barely see the difference between the old ceiling, paint and texture and the replaced ceiling, paint and texture.  Mike gave good recommendations for the kind of work that needed to be done and his crew did a great job.  Minimal dust and noise.  Took About 8 hours.  I'm very happy with the work.

Francisco sent his crew back to retest the system, found out that the micro inverters were the issue. Since they are still under warranty  the manufacturer will replace all 24 micro inverters for me. It will take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. But for now I have 3 new inverters working that Francisco was kind enough to let me use it while waiting for the replacement.

Needed new electric range plug and wiring to be installed. Answered the phone at 8 pm, which was nice as all the other local electricians did not answer. I asked if he could come right away, and he was there at 8:30 pm.  I had texted pictures so he brought the right plugs and connectors, and was done in less than 45 minutes.  Really appreciated the fast service and quick work.  Highly Recommend.
