I can't express how helpful Lucas was today. The day before thanksgiving Lucas calls me on FaceTime and helps me solve the electric issue I was having. This could have been a disaster and thanks to Fitch Electric (the only company that picked up my calls) my family and I can enjoy our holiday.

Randy is great! We lost power to all of our bathroom outlets and Randy came over, troubleshooted the problem, made multiple trips when required, explained everything that he was doing, and answered text messages quickly and outside of normal hours.

Robert rose to the occasion when I solicited for a bid of installing a Tesla Wall connector.  He did not throw out any numeric dollar figure, rather, he offered to stop by to assess and evaluate with a free estimate.  On the day of his arrival, he quickly provided a reasonable quote and made himself readily available to get the work done on the spot.  He answered all questions I'd asked thoroughly and thoughtfully.  Most importantly, I felt is responses were genuine and honest.  The outcome of his work was clean, precise and of quality - exactly what you'd expect of a professional and licensed electrician who took pride in their work.   (Two Thumbs Up!)

Antonio came and installed my wired ring camera. Very professional, clean and reliable. Always kept in contact with me via text text  to confirm our appointment. I would highly recommend him and will be using him again soon.

I have worked with Juan Peralta and his crew on three projects this summer at my home in Saratoga, the largest of which was the installation of a new circuit breaker panel and whole house generator at my home in Saratoga.  I found Juan to be responsive, knowledgeable, thorough, patient, respectful and very customer oriented.  He showed up when he said he would, didn't leave until he accomplished what he set out to do and always left my property the way he found it when he came.  His workers are equally diligent and respectful.

Just got off the phone with Dan about a brand-new 55 LG smart TV that I was looking to sell for parts. It has a cracked display, but other than that, it's brand-new.

First of all, most businesses that miss your call will never call you back. Dan actually took the time to call me back. Keep in mind that I hadn't left a message.

Secondly, even though he wasn't interested in buying the TV, he was SUPER personable and friendly. He even told me about the different components of the TV and why in my case, the TV wasn't good for parts.

Even though I never hope to have a problem in the future with my TV, heating, or air conditioning, in the rare event that I do, I'll know who to call.

Dan is friendly, nice, personable, professional, smart, and funny. I think that counts for something these days.

Also, Dan, you should try your hand at voiceover work! You'd be good at it.

Nothing but great things to say about Got Watts! We were so impressed with the service we received from them and highly recommend them for all HVAC needs - and have already referred our friends. They installed a mini-split system in our house and were amazing to work with - professional, friendly and prompt. Eric Schaefer is the best! We received three quotes for mini-split systems and Got Watts was by far the most reasonable. They really understood what we wanted for our 95 year old home and got it done! They removed our old gas furnace & covered the hole in the floor. The have already been out to service us AND they sent us flowers to celebrate our newborn baby! On top of all that having climate control as we go into the summer has been some of the best money we ever spent!

Hancock was wonderful.  He called and was able to come to the appointment earlier than originally planned. He checked the outlets and told us why the circuit breaker kept popping every time we turned on our microwave.  Job cost less than expected. I'd use him again.

We recently had Southwest make extensive upgrades to our new home, including a 200 amp upgrade to our panel. They showed up on time, offered excellent observations/insights/ideas (also bringing up things that I'm really glad they pointed out, without being pushy at all), and were meticulous about their work. Steve, Mike and John are a company of three (I think), so you always know who you're dealing with, and they could not be nicer or more professional. I have complete peace of mind in the high quality of the work, and also the knowledge that if I ever did have a problem I could call and it would be taken care of promptly.

If you want responsiveness, reliability, excellent work, reasonable prices and really nice guys you'll enjoy having in your home, Southwest Electric is as good as it gets.

The thermostate had died over the weekend, and it was too chilly during the nights for any comfort even when wearing the house robe.
 
I called the company on Monday for an appointment, made for Tuesday  between 8 AM and 10 AM.
Got a phone call at 7:30 AM on Tuesday that left a message that the man is on his way, and a few minutes before 8 he is knocking at my door.

Jeff was the man of the hour!  He explained everything that he was doing, and whatever he would do as he went along.  I was provided with the latest
model of thermostate, and how to use it for home comfort with energy savings. I was always getting email notices from PG&E as to saving energy,
and reducing billings.
For the time, effort and arrangements for future needs, the cost was very
reasonable.

Called Jason a few weeks ago and he replied immediately. we agreed upon a time for him to come over and address some light switch and bulb issues. He was on time, did the job very quickly and professionally and charged me a very reasonable rate. He was great with my dog too which is a big plus :-) . I will call Oak Electric again as Jason is a super nice guy and did a great job for me.

We hired JMC to wire up our hot tub, and although I was a bit skeptical at first with regards to whether the price was worth it or not (not outrageously high, but also not inexpensive), after the install today, I have to admit that I am 100% a fan of theirs. From start to finish, they've been very clear in their communications and every single person I've interacted with has been super professional. With the install today, even though it wasn't their fault that the hot tub company didn't leave behind the right breakers for them, JMC's Hector and Eduardo went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed to get the hot tub working today, especially since I told them that I was heading out of town early the next morning. Above and beyond in terms of making calls to track down the missing component and then actually driving out to the hot tub place to pick up the component. And they did it so cheerfully that I knew that they cared about doing a great job and leaving me a happy customer. I am a forever fan and will be calling them up for other electrical needs in the future!

Very happy with Five or Free Electrical Solutions. They were communicative, prompt, efficient. This is the way to run a business.

Communicative: I got a quick response to my service inquiry through Yelp. At every step from initial contact to all my emails, to booking, etc. replies were immediate. I was kept informed if a new issue popped up. Multiple confirmations, both written and voice were sent. While I liked talking to a real person, I also appreciated the written confirmation detailing the job expectations.

Prompt: Tim, the electrician, was great. The main office messaged me before he arrived but Tim also texted and called me with his ETA. My time is just as valuable as my wallet. I appreciated that he showed up when he said he would.

Efficient: Tim quickly evaluated the problem and gave me an upfront recommendation. His diagnosis was pretty accurate but he was honest when other problems emerged. He patiently explained the issues and I didn't feel ripped off. Price seemed comparable to others. Not cheap but I don't begrudge them making a living.

Above and beyond: Tim didn't have a part and promised to return first thing in the morning to complete repairs and he did. I've worked with tradesmen in the past with no sense of urgency or respect for the customer. Working with Tim is great and Five or Free Electrical Solutions will stay on my reliable contact list for future electrical needs.

I worked with Brian last year to completely rewire my 1962-built condo, and he did a fantastic job. He was knowledgeable, friendly, affordable, and 100% on time. He also carefully walked me through everything he did, so I felt complete confidence in what he was doing. It also helped that Brian is a great guy, and enjoyable to just chat with while he was around, as well.

Rob did an excellent job with installing a new electrical outlet in our laundry room and securing (boxing?) as well as cleaned up exposed wiring in our garage that was done by the previous owner of our new house. His work is very clean. If there was a mess at all, he cleaned up after himself and I really appreciate that.

Unfortunately, the reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is because the main reason that we called him was to fix a problem with the outlets in our kitchen. There is some sort of short that disabled most of the outlets. Can't make coffee, cook rice, toast bread, use the microwave.... it is almost an essential part of every day life. He tried to troubleshoot the problem and even had gotten one (out of 4) of  the outlets to work. He was short on time that day and told me that he'd give us a call to set up another time to finish up his work... but after one week of waiting, we never heard from him.

Not upset that he couldn't finish his work that day, but wish he could have at least called and told us his situation or just told us if he couldn't do the work that we asked him to do. At least it would have saved us time and we would have had someone else come to fix the problem for us. Instead, we were left hanging for a week unable to use half of our kitchen.

Wow- finally a dependable (and available) electrician!!  

I was referred to LAM- we had a great experience with owner and crew.  There were several electrical fixes around the house that weren't substantial enough to get interest from other electricians.  Called LAM, got owner to come out next day and start work following day.

Crew cleaned up after themselves and got done after two visits with positive results- everything works great and price was extremely reasonable!  I've already referred Mr. Binh to several folks- I will definitely use him again!

I had Clever Electric ground my entire house (small 3 bed 2 bath), replace the electrical panel, and install recessed lighting in the living room.  They sent a 3 man crew up to El Cerrito (1 hour drive), arrived at 8:00am on  Saturday morning, and finished at 6:00pm the same day.  Clever Electric is licensed and insured, and would have done the work with a permit for a few hundred dollars if I had chosen that.  The price was very reasonable, and the crew was professional, quick, and polite.  They were also very responsive by email and phone.

I highly recommend Zurc Power Solutions for all your solar needs. Francisco is very knowledgeable and can easily explain the intricacies of going solar. They installed our system 3 years ago and have kept in touch by monitoring our system to make sure everything is working properly.  I've referred him to friends and they are all very happy with their systems. I think Arkadiy is a nice guy and he did a great job on a couple small jobs I had that needed fixing. He was great with communication, came when we agreed upon, and price was what he quoted. He is down to earth and knowledgeable about his work. I would definitely use him again for future electrical needs.
