Called them to request service to install outdoor GFCI outlet for my water fountain. The owner Lucas picked up the phone and asked me to send the pictures of the location where I want to install the outdoor outlet. Sent him the required pictures and information of the job that I want them to do and then follow up with few text messages. No response at all I guess they don't have courtesy to reply to a prospect client. Will not recommend this business.

We purchased a home here in Castro Valley in 2014 and picked Randy because of his great reviews on Yelp!
He is FABULOUS! He changed out our original electrical that was put in, in 1950!
He gave us electrical access in the back yard to accommodate us for our new hot tub and BBQ area!
He was respectful, knowledgeable, always prompt and his prices are reasonable.
Everything is working great and we will always call him first when an electrician is needed!

Very good experience. Arrived half hour late. Knowledgeable and a good problem solver. Installed outlet for car charger and replaced outlet in bedroom. Reasonably priced.  Got the job done quickly and efficiently. Willing to come out on a Sunday with no extra fee!

We recently had Southwest make extensive upgrades to our new home, including a 200 amp upgrade to our panel. They showed up on time, offered excellent observations/insights/ideas (also bringing up things that I'm really glad they pointed out, without being pushy at all), and were meticulous about their work. Steve, Mike and John are a company of three (I think), so you always know who you're dealing with, and they could not be nicer or more professional. I have complete peace of mind in the high quality of the work, and also the knowledge that if I ever did have a problem I could call and it would be taken care of promptly.

We had a new AC system installed in June last year. For some reason, it was interrupting our furnace system and shutting down the power. After several visits over six months, Jeff was finally able to fix it. Turns out, our furnace filter was restricting air flow and causing the problem.  We really appreciate the time and effort it took to diagnose and remedy the problem. We're very happy working with Jason and his team at Oak Electric.  The house we bought early this year dates from the early 90s and had lots of needs.  Jason has made our lives better by solving  problems.  We now have great lighting in the home office, daughter's bedroom and gym.  He is a can-do guy who comes up with ideas.  We had very different experiences with two local electricians who, for some reason, get good reviews.  The first charged a ton just to show up, talked a mile a minute, and listened to us not at all.  The other was very grumpy and everything was can't do that.  In contrast, a member of Jason's team came over to fix a minor problem with one of the installations and was gracious enough to also take care of a couple of extra things that they had not even worked on.

Jon was wonderful - we reached out to him on a referral to help us hook up a spa. He was extremely responsive, professional, and he was very transparent with timeline, costs, and process. After a month of using the spa, I had a question about an issue, reached out, and he offered to come by the next day to help us out. Really great experience, highly recommend.

Professional, friendly and on time electrician. I like that he gives a fair quote that details the project scope as discussed in messages and phone calls.

We initially hired Brian to help our condo association with installation of exit signs in our hallways. He did a great job so we hired him again to do some electrical work in our own condo unit.

We needed our fuse box relocated from a bedroom closet to behind the bedroom door to be up to code. He also installed new recessed lighting in our hallway and living room and above our dining table. He made minimal holes in the drywall and saved the pieces for us so that we could get our handyman to patch.

We always keep BMH in mind when we consider future electrical projects!

I was having my kitchen remodeled and my contractor recommended upgrading my house to a 200amp circuit.  The quote they came back with was almost 4 times their estimate so I decided to look for my own electrician

Rob was recommended to me by a friend that works at PG&E.  Note: this was not a recommendation from PG&E, but they had good experiences with Rob.

He was one of 5 electricians I called: all recommended by friends.  Two never returned my calls, one was inadequate for the job, and the last one never completed my quote.  I was beginning to feel like I would have better luck finding a unicorn.  All of that said: I had a great experience with Rob.  

Rob came to my house and took down all of the details of the work I wanted done and made a suggestion: I have a plug-in hybrid car so he suggested adding a 220 outlet for a car charger.  

He got back to me with a quote within the week and it was 33% lower than my contractor.  I signed the contract and had to put the work on hold due to issues with the general contractor.  Once I was ready to begin the work Rob made himself available and did excellent work.  He took care of all of the permits and did the work he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it.

If you need any electrical work done I cannot recommend Rob highly enough.

Great electrician and very fast! Came relatively on time and brought own equipment. I had minor work done with my breaker box and he knew right away what the issue was. We will use Lam again for future electrical work!

My was excellent in his communication and service. I have him removed the existing fluorescent light fixture and installed a new flush-mount ceiling light. He re-assembled the removed fluorescent fixture and put this at the side. And tidied up the new ceiling light box and offered to sweep the floor when the job was done. In addition he patched up the holes used for the fluorescent fixture. Overall, I will get him again if I need any electrical work or projects to be done.
