Had an urgent situation today where the smart light switch in our baby daughter's room started smelling burnt.  I reached out to Fitch Electric and Josh responded quickly.  They sent Martin out within a couple hours, which was great because most of the other electricians said they weren't available until the next day, and this seemed like a safety concern.  Martin came with the replacement already and switched out the old unit.  We found the old unit seems to have burned up internally as the unit itself is was smelled, not related to any of the wiring.  Martin was able to take care of it quickly and walked me through the potential causes.  Overall, happy with the speed and professionalism of Martin, Josh, and the Fitch Electric team.  Highly recommend!

Randy and his crew were amazing. I hired them for a project a couple years ago to install electricity in my garage. They did a great job and even prewired areas where I was planning to eventually install a future outlet. A few years later, I had contacted them again and they were able to come out and complete a small job. We had an amazing experience with Robert Chen. He was referred to us by a friend this morning. We called him up in the morning. He was very responsive and was ready to come down the same day to give us a quote to install our Tesla wall charger. A lot of the other companies that we spoke to either quoted too high or they were going to send someone for an estimate. For the estimate, I had to fill out forms and send them pictures etc. so it was a complicated process. But Robert came to give us a quote the same day and he was very considerate of our house. Asked us the right questions of where do you want it installed and have us suggestions on how to save on material by installing it in a certain place. That way, it will not be expensive. He quoted reasonable amount and less than big companies. He finished his work and cleaned up after he was done too. Very neat end product as it can be seen in the picture. I highly recommend Robert for this and I am also planning to call him for any of our electrical needs at hour home in the future.

Antonio just finished installing overhead shelving in my garage. I decided to hire him because of his reasonable pricing and quick responses to my questions on Yelp.  He was also flexible, friendly, and communicative throughout the installation to ensure what he was doing was what I wanted.  Thanks Antonio!

tried to hire him 2 times. First time, he showed up, took a look and said he will come back with a quote. He never followed up.
Second time, he gave me an appointment for 4pm next day. I shortened my trip so that I could be home for the appointment. Then when I called him at 4:15pm, he said something came up and he wont show up. He said he texted me in the morning, but I never received anything and I think he just lied. Then he said he will call be back but he never did.

I just got a Tesla and need a 220v ev charging capability. I was debating between getting 14-50 Nema outlet and the Tesla Wall charger. Dan came by to provide quotes for both and also helped me decide what to go with. Dan was very good in providing me a quote that was according to the actual work that needs to be done. Many others just gave me a standard quote even thought the work was lesser than typical, as I had conduit all done.

Dan showed up right on time as we had planned and finished the work in a matter of minutes. Although he was quick, his quality of work was quite good and also made sure clean up any debris, which I really appreciated.

Since then, I have been charging my car at about 30 miles per hour regularly. Although, the shelter in place has not allowed me to use it too much, works well whenever I do.

I will come back in 6 months and update here on how things hav shelf up. Meanwhile, don't even think twice when hiring Dan your electrical work. Dan will be our go to electrical specialist for our home.

I own and operate a commercial business in Concord, and met Jeremy during the course of doing business.  I was impressed with his honesty and ethics, so I asked him to install some upgraded LED lighting at my place of business.   Jeremy went out of his way to do things right, explaining every step of the process and involving me in the decision making where needed.    You can tell quite a bit from just how a service provider presents himself, and Jeremy's equipment is clean, organized and well kept.

The secret to handling repair, upgrade and maintenance issues in the easiest manner is to find trustworthy service providers you can rely on to do things right the first time at a fair price.  Got Watts and Jeremy are my go to when it comes to all things electrical.

I needed an electrical outlet installed higher on the wall to go behind a wall mounted television.  It was a pretty simple job, and I was able to explain the scope via email.

Most other contractors wanted to send out an estimator and have me call them.  It probably would have cost them more time to travel out to my house than they would actually make on the job.

I wrote the request on Saturday night, and Hancock responded immediately.  He quoted $200 via Yelp and arrived Sunday morning on time.  He did the project in about an hour, with no mess or hassle.  I'll definitely be checking these guys out again the next time I need electrical done at my house.

So a few months after I'd left the messages and wrote the 1-star review, Steve called me. He apologized and explained that he'd been dealing with some family issues. He had also let go one of the workers who had done my electrical. After making an appointment to come out the following week, I sent him my list of things that needed to be fixed, detailed in my original review.

As promised, Chris came out on Monday. He was on time--even early--friendly and courteous. Chris made some recommendations on how to fix some of the problems, did the work, and also saved the day with some quick thinking. He also changed out a motion detector switch to a regular one even though it was out of scope.

Steve himself came out and we smoothed things over. I was happy to have the work completed quickly and even talked to him about coming back to install a new light over my dining table.

Although I would have preferred the work had been done properly originally, Steve takes pride in his work and I know he felt bad that there had been issues.

I understand when family matters come up, and I told him as much. However, I do think he should have left an outgoing voice message explaining that he was taking time off and would not be returning calls for an extended amount of time.

I was actually about to hire another electrician to fix all the problems, so I would been pretty upset if I had done so only to have Steve contact me afterward.

My initial experience with Steve and John, who were recommended by my contractor, was good. However, I've now left two messages this year for Steve asking him to come back and fix small issues that came up within weeks of my moving back into my remodeled home: canned light went out, dimmer makes a buzzing noise, smoke alarm fell off my master bedroom ceiling. And the big one: fans in both baths come on when heat/air does and not necessarily when they should. I.e., when I'm showering and the bathroom steams up.

I'm sure all of these problems are easy to fix, so I'm frustrated that I've left two very polite messages (one on Steve's cell phone; one at the shop) and still haven't received a call back in over two weeks. I spent more than $10k with Southwest and thought Steve and John were very professional and helpful during the remodel. I think it's very unprofessional now for Steve to not follow up on these issues that I've documented through date-stamped photos.

I think it's interesting that the majority of these 5-star reviews for Southwest are from people who don't write many reviews. This can be a sign of business owners asking for favorable reviews in return for providing a discount. If you're researching electricians or any other businesses on Yelp, I recommend doing your homework. Just because the business has 5-star reviews does not mean they truly are a 5-star business.

Bellows is an overly expensive Company with poor customer service. They charge you excessive fees to fix things that are under warranty and do a pretty poor job if it. I like Costco and got in touch with Bellows through there. They make Costco look bad.

Called Jason a few weeks ago and he replied immediately. we agreed upon a time for him to come over and address some light switch and bulb issues. He was on time, did the job very quickly and professionally and charged me a very reasonable rate. He was great with my dog too which is a big plus :-) . I will call Oak Electric again as Jason is a super nice guy and did a great job for me.

Alfredo did an amazing job replacing our pool disconnect. He was clean, courteous and handsome. Job was priced fairly and we are so so happy.

I hired an electrician to come check out some outlets that stopped working after a storm. I know nothing about this sort of thing, but I knew well enough to check the basics (breakers, fuses, etc). Well, apparently I didn't know enough!
I was easily able to schedule an appointment and the technician was here on time. Sal arrived, and after checking out several outlets, he knew what the problem was and quickly fixed it. Everything is working well! He noticed we were military veterans and compensated us for that. I'd never call another electrician. From now on, we will use Sal. Thanks so much!

Brian is knowledgeable and friendly, excellent customer service and great work. I called him in the morning about some electrical repair I needed done and he managed to squeeze us in by the afternoon. He immediately got to work, fixing our wiring issue right away.

I was having my kitchen remodeled and my contractor recommended upgrading my house to a 200amp circuit.  The quote they came back with was almost 4 times their estimate so I decided to look for my own electrician

Rob was recommended to me by a friend that works at PG&E.  Note: this was not a recommendation from PG&E, but they had good experiences with Rob.

He was one of 5 electricians I called: all recommended by friends.  Two never returned my calls, one was inadequate for the job, and the last one never completed my quote.  I was beginning to feel like I would have better luck finding a unicorn.  All of that said: I had a great experience with Rob.  

Rob came to my house and took down all of the details of the work I wanted done and made a suggestion: I have a plug-in hybrid car so he suggested adding a 220 outlet for a car charger.  

He got back to me with a quote within the week and it was 33% lower than my contractor.  I signed the contract and had to put the work on hold due to issues with the general contractor.  Once I was ready to begin the work Rob made himself available and did excellent work.  He took care of all of the permits and did the work he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it.

If you need any electrical work done I cannot recommend Rob highly enough.

Installed a crawl space gfci outlet for me to connect the sump pump. His price was reasonable so I worked with him. He did a good job finished in a timely manner. He also explained everything to me.

My and his team are really nice and efficient. I really appreciate their quick response time and service. Since we've moved into our 1980s home, we've been working hard to bring it to the times with our SmartThings. When one of our smart switches wasn't working in the hallway, My came quickly and found the problem. We also hired him to install a NEMA outlet for us and he was able to give us a competitive rate for it as well. While he was here for the NEMA outlet, I asked him about my garbage disposal outlet in the kitchen, and he was able to find out what was wrong with it and fix it for me. Honestly, his team is great and I know he will be the only electrician we will be using for now on!
