Had a circuit breaker that wouldn't reset, found these guys on Yelp, called and the owner Lucas picked up the call, and within the hour Martin was onsite, wow, responsive!!!  Martin is a champ, methodically checked outlets and switches, nailed it down to a light switch circuit. He disconnected that bad switch, got the rest of everything working, GREAT response and GREAT problem resolution!!!  Martin knew his stuff, we will use these guys and recommend them ongoing... Thank you!!!

Summer of 2022 Randy and his lovely team did a full house rewire of my 1920s bungalow. I accidentally ended up with four estimates, and Mopia electric was smack in the middle cost-wise. But what really sold me were all the reviews talking about whole house rewires. The 5 star reviews are totally warranted. Mopia Electric is super professional, incredibly reliable, and does high quality work. I absolutely recommend them, and will continue to work with them!

Asked Yelp to help me quote a few small projects I had and Antonio was one of the replies.   Very reasonable rate compared to others that quoted and he came the next day and fixed the two items in three hours. I will use him again for my next project.

Based on my great experience, Dan really wants to help for the sake of helping, not just about making the buck. Good old-fashioned values.  Solved my problem without a service call! I had a problem wiring my new smart thermostat.  Couldn't get power on it, and spent a few hours online trying to troubleshoot, and with the manufacturer who said it was a problem beyond their thermostat so I should call a service technician.  I finally gave up and tried to reinstall the old thermostat, ...which then wouldn't work anymore.  Grrr.

I knew it all was likely just a simple wiring problem.  I was so reluctant to pay for a service call if it was just a $3 fuse or something beyond my scant knowledge. Finally I phoned a competitor (Sunny Appliance Repair) who offered a service call for $185, which might solve it.  As pricey as that sounds, they at least answered the phone and gave me a quote - others I called didn't respond. But I just couldn't stomach shelling out the cash and the hassle of missing work to meet someone at the house, for what was no doubt a 10 minute fix. Then I read Dan's reviews, and briefly outlined my dilemma through request for quote on Yelp's page to Dan and two other companies, Sunny and AIS.  The email went out around 5:45 pm.

I heard back from Dan right away via email.  BAM!  It was almost like a commercial, so fast.  And in no time, he was troubleshooting briefly - did I try this? What about that?  Guess what.  He solved it with just a few brief back-and-forth emails. I offered to send him $ even though he didn't ask. He saved me so much hassle.  And even if I did end up needing his help for a service call, I'm confident he'd be fast and fair.

I did hear back from the other two the next day, asking the usual what is your zip code? and no doubt preparing to quote a service call. So it's good they replied, but it would have been a frustrating service call no doubt.  

You know how, when you live in town for a long, long time, you have your trusted service people that you've known forever, and you call when you need help?  It's hard to find those people when you're new in town.  Found one!

Jeremy wrote me a quote for recessed lights, and found an option to save me hundreds of dollars. When he and Abe came on the scheduled day to do the work, they were prompt, professional, personable, and knowledgable. Both Jeremy and Abe went out of their way to help with information and courtesy; they wore bootees into the house, and even whispered when my child was napping.

It is clear that they have a strong work ethic and want to do the job right (and safely) and never take advantage of the customer.  I will definitely be using them again, thanks!

While vacuuming the light by door flickered and the outlet went out. Then two light switches didn't work anymore and we tried to reset the circuit breaker and still didn't work. I sent out a Yelp a quote and many responded. Hancok had a very direct/ clear answer of cost. He did a thorough explanation of what may or may not be. I explained what happened and he said sounds like a simple fix. He said he can leave right away to me. He came from an hour away! Power shoot and knew the problem after 15 minutes and fixed the problem.  Nice guy. Definitely recommend

I have a two story townhouse that gets hot up stairs in the summer. The two upstairs bedrooms have vaulted ceilings with no existing electrical cans in the ceiling. So, I needed an electrician to install the cans and wire in the associated switch.

So, I called a few contractors and eventually hired Steve who provided a reasonable estimate and was easy to get along with. During the estimate visit, Steve recommended a creative way to retain the switch for wall receptacles ((think table or floor lamps) and add a dedicated switch for the ceiling fans. He also recommended a whole house fan that I hadn't thought of. So he has a bit of creativity and experience to help suggest improvements.

He and John showed up on time for the estimate and install. They also respect the customers home by doing a clean job, tarping the work area and picking up after themselves. They're both very personable and are a pleasure to work with.

We had a new AC system installed in June last year. For some reason, it was interrupting our furnace system and shutting down the power. After several visits over six months, Jeff was finally able to fix it. Turns out, our furnace filter was restricting air flow and causing the problem.  We really appreciate the time and effort it took to diagnose and remedy the problem. After an electrical fire in our garden we needed a total rewire. The first company we had out to quote spent more time telling me what they couldn't do vs what they could. We asked Rob Odom to replace most of the wiring at our home, and upgrade the electric connection to 200Amps. We had requested bids from four other electric contractors and Rob's had turned out to be the lowest. We had initially thought that it might be because he was cutting some corners, but we gave him the contract seeing these reviews on yelp.

Rob exceeded our expectations in many ways:

(1)All the new wiring in the home looks extremely neat and tidy.

(2)He installed dimmer switches in all the rooms; something we had not put in the contract and had not expected.

(3)When an issue came up that the inspector would not pass without wired smoke alarms being installed at the home, Rob dealt with it swiftly and efficiently.

(4)All the inspections were handled efficiently and completed fine.

If you are going to hire Rob for your work, and the work requires multiple electricians, I would recommend you to ask Rob about Richard. Richard is great too, he spotted that the laundry area that we wanted to build would not be sufficient for a stackable laundry unit, and suggested the changes so the laundry unit could be built properly.

I was referred to LAM- we had a great experience with owner and crew.  There were several electrical fixes around the house that weren't substantial enough to get interest from other electricians.  Called LAM, got owner to come out next day and start work following day.

Crew cleaned up after themselves and got done after two visits with positive results- everything works great and price was extremely reasonable!  I've already referred Mr. Binh to several folks- I will definitely use him again!

Amazing work done by clever electric. Neat and attention to detail. Crew members are friendly and listen to customers for before installing lights. We got installed the 16 recess lights and 2 pendants in 8 hours. I highly recommend clever electric. Superb work!

Francisco sent his crew back to retest the system, found out that the micro inverters were the issue. Since they are still under warranty  the manufacturer will replace all 24 micro inverters for me. It will take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. But for now I have 3 new inverters working that Francisco was kind enough to let me use it while waiting for the replacement.

I had a problem at my house, three rooms upstairs are out of power. I got an electrician came over, he spent a couple hours and did not find out exactly where it disconnected. Then I got one of my friends referred Arkadiy to me. When he came over, I can feel he is sharp and systematic. It seems to be a hard problem to solve initially, but Arkadiy got it all figured out eventually. Very impressive. (The previous electrician told me he might have to open the wall to trace down the lines. Then it will become a big project.) I am so happy Arkadiy came and helped me.

The work is done professionally. The price is very reasonable. Now I know when I need any electrical work to be done, whom should I turn to.
