We had the pleasure of working with Fitch Electric today.  2 other electricians did not call us back and the 3rd backed out of an appointment at the last minute.  Well, I'm glad it did not work out with the other companies because Fitch did a great job all around.  From talking with Lucas who actually picked up the phone and Scott who initiated the appointment setting, we were off and running.  They were a pleasure to speak with and it is easy to see they want the customer to have a great experience using their services.  Martin and Santiago came to the house today and did a great job hanging a chandelier in the dining room and taking down another light fixture we no longer needed in the living room.  They gave us advice on some outlet issues we were having as well and how to solve them.  They were fast, friendly and did a great job.  I will be having them back for future projects soon.  I already have started the list.  This experience is exactly what I was looking for in an electric company!

Charged $250 to come out & do an estimate. Seemed knowledgeable & friendly, but decided against doing the work with them.

Installed 4 ceiling lights (one larger) and a bathroom fan. Was really responsive and helpful. He was also there next day on schedule and did a great job. It was also helpful he spoke English and Mandarin for myself and my wife

No complaining, just hard work and straightforward.

Juan and his team are beyond good. I had a lot of electrical panel and circuit work to do. Had several companies come out who wanted to charge huge rates and create a complicated process.
Juan is very knowledgeable, thorough, honest and took care of the job for a fair price without over engineering things as can be possible to do with electrical work.  He's done work for my family now as well.  I'm very picky about who works on my home (or who I refer!) and I trust Juan implicitly

I called BAM to install my TV during a 90-minute time window I had between work meetings. Dan was on time, fast, effective, friendly (to my dog too), and did everything he could to ensure my customer satisfaction (including recommending my TV purchase, offering different mounts, cleaning up cords, and trying to help me save money).

I would gladly recommend BAM for any TV or electrical-related customer requests.

They know they stuff and never felt up-sold to. They were respectful and were patient with all of our dumb questions.

Hancock from Den Electric came over to install an outlet in my garage so I can charge my Electric Vehicle.

Upon initially reaching out, he was immediately communicative. He answered every one of my upfront questions thoroughly, quoted a price range over Yelp Chat, shared his license number (so I could look it up), and was forthcoming about his schedule. Due to his responsiveness, articulateness, honesty, price, and availability, I made the decision to hire him.

When he came out to do the work (on time), he was quick doing it. He explained what he was doing while he was doing it, too.

Also seemed like a nice guy -- easy to get along with and talk to. Didn't seem to mind me glaring at him from the other side of the garage.

He accepted payment over Venmo. I paid him after I verified his work was functioning as promised.

It's now been a week and everything is still working just fine.

So a few months after I'd left the messages and wrote the 1-star review, Steve called me. He apologized and explained that he'd been dealing with some family issues. He had also let go one of the workers who had done my electrical. After making an appointment to come out the following week, I sent him my list of things that needed to be fixed, detailed in my original review.

As promised, Chris came out on Monday. He was on time--even early--friendly and courteous. Chris made some recommendations on how to fix some of the problems, did the work, and also saved the day with some quick thinking. He also changed out a motion detector switch to a regular one even though it was out of scope.

Steve himself came out and we smoothed things over. I was happy to have the work completed quickly and even talked to him about coming back to install a new light over my dining table.

Although I would have preferred the work had been done properly originally, Steve takes pride in his work and I know he felt bad that there had been issues.

I understand when family matters come up, and I told him as much. However, I do think he should have left an outgoing voice message explaining that he was taking time off and would not be returning calls for an extended amount of time.

I was actually about to hire another electrician to fix all the problems, so I would been pretty upset if I had done so only to have Steve contact me afterward.

My initial experience with Steve and John, who were recommended by my contractor, was good. However, I've now left two messages this year for Steve asking him to come back and fix small issues that came up within weeks of my moving back into my remodeled home: canned light went out, dimmer makes a buzzing noise, smoke alarm fell off my master bedroom ceiling. And the big one: fans in both baths come on when heat/air does and not necessarily when they should. I.e., when I'm showering and the bathroom steams up.

I'm sure all of these problems are easy to fix, so I'm frustrated that I've left two very polite messages (one on Steve's cell phone; one at the shop) and still haven't received a call back in over two weeks. I spent more than $10k with Southwest and thought Steve and John were very professional and helpful during the remodel. I think it's very unprofessional now for Steve to not follow up on these issues that I've documented through date-stamped photos.

I think it's interesting that the majority of these 5-star reviews for Southwest are from people who don't write many reviews. This can be a sign of business owners asking for favorable reviews in return for providing a discount. If you're researching electricians or any other businesses on Yelp, I recommend doing your homework. Just because the business has 5-star reviews does not mean they truly are a 5-star business.

We had a major problem with our water softener tank, and Marcos Escobar, a Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical representative, came to our home in Santa Cruz County to help fix it.  Not only was he punctual, he was polite and very knowledgeable with our unit and our problem. He also called with a follow-up the following day with further information as promised. I highly recommend this professional company who is also organized with retuning telephone calls or emails.

Jason and Issac were great.  We needed a panel upgrade and some minor repairs.  From initial contact and a same day estimate to the work being done was amazing.  Professional, respectful and responsive.  We can say enough about the service and will definitely use them again if services are needed.  If you need work done, no matter the size or scope, give Jason and Oak a call.

BE ALERT: jmc is very expensive. You would do youself a big favor by going with someone else or at least shopping around to appreciate what I warned you here. On top of that, they demand invoice to be paid in advance BEFORE any work is done. If this doesn't make you think twice, then you deserve being gouged/played.

We needed canned lights in a couple of bedrooms. Brian was super responsive on an estimate and provided good availability.  He did the job in half a day and kept the work space very clean.  Lights are working great.  We'll definitely look to BMH for future electrical work. Thanks Brian!

I highly recommend Odom Electric. My husband and I embarked (foolishly) on a DIY remodel for our kitchen and living space. We needed extensive electrical work because, not only were we installing new light fixtures, we thought it would be fun to rearrange our kitchen appliances, move receptacles, move our dryer, add numerous receptacles and light switches, install a new electrical panel, install recessed lighting, put up security lights, and run electricity to our shed in the backyard.

Rob did not miss a beat--even when I told him we had no plans and then quickly drew an electrical work map on graph paper. He was flexible and super pleasant to work with. Months after his work was done, I ran into a little snag trying to wrap up our work, and he was back to my kitchen in record time.

Installed a crawl space gfci outlet for me to connect the sump pump. His price was reasonable so I worked with him. He did a good job finished in a timely manner. He also explained everything to me.

I wanted to get my home wired for internet access as I was not getting the bandwidth I need using WiFi.  I called a few folks to get estimates and found that Clever Electric was very reasonable.  I spoke with My and he was very knowledgeable of what I was looking for and gave a price based on what I told him.  I followed with an e-mail to confirm the work order and date and time.  My was very responsive and confirmed over e-mail.  My and his co-worker came on time, which is very rare with contractors and handymen and got down to business.  My was very flexible and gave me different options on how he can setup the enclosure and the patch panel.  He did a great job that was clean and professional and finished the job on time.  If you know exactly what you want and tell My in advance, he will provide the quote and do what he promised.  He is willing to work with you and get the job done and does not try to trick you into spending more or change the price once he is on the job.  I am very happy with the work that My did for me.

Francisco sent his crew back to retest the system, found out that the micro inverters were the issue. Since they are still under warranty  the manufacturer will replace all 24 micro inverters for me. It will take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. But for now I have 3 new inverters working that Francisco was kind enough to let me use it while waiting for the replacement.

Quick response ,same day service,, good price . Qualify work . Very lucky to find him ,  especially in Bay Area where everything is expensive and pricey .  Highly recommended .
