I want to give them more stars because of the complete work they did from the start. These guys are very engaging, return calls and complete the work they promised to do I would call them again for any electrical needs!! I can't say enough about their company and how great they are. I tried for a couple of years to get a company to come out and install a generator. They did it in about 2 weeks! Hiring them is the best thing I could of done!

I was up against the clock on the punch list for my final inspection deadline on my room addition and remodel. Mopia Electric was recommended my several neighbors. Randy was able to accomodate my needs quickly. He and his crew were friendly, helpful, and following appropriate protocol for Covid-19. They worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up nicely after. Randy's crew explained the problem and the solution, which I really appreciate. Even came back quickly when I found another issue. I was pleased to hear he lives in my neighborhood. I like to hire local.

Juan happened to be available on short notice (next day) and was able to diagnose and fix the problem with one of our circuit breakers. Turns out it wasn't a major problem, and the other circuits were fine.

He made the adjustments, fixed it, replaced the faulty outlet that causes the problem, checked all the other outlets/switches, and tightened all the connections in our box before finishing up.

I also appreciated that he didn't try to up-sell me on new equipment and services that I didn't need or ask for. Sure it doesn't hurt to upgrade, but he knew that's not what I asked for or needed. He gave me some tips and let me know to call him for any future needs. Solid work all-around.

I had a 50A NEMA outlet installed by BAM. The electrician was very helpful answering all my questions. I also liked that I got several options with quotes on site.

Finally, I want to call out that they were really fast at responding to my request over Yelp.

Love this team's down-to-earth communication style and work ethic.

We've experienced an electrical issue that caused our HVAC system to stop functioning. This was caused by a failure in a Polaris lug that connects the HVAC's power supply cable to the main power supply. The connector, which literally blew up in flames, was installed 4 years ago by this team, part of a project that feeds power to an EV charging system and the HVAC

The team was completely backlogged with other projects but one of the owners, Jeremy was able to come in same day, after hours and apply a temporary patch using a lower grade connector - which immediately restored the HVAC.

The next day, another team mate, Chris, came in and followed-up on the work by installing a brand new Polaris connector. He also replaced the breaker on the circuit. All free of charge.

Chris was able to further investigate the power circuit feeding the HVAC and identified a few issues that could have led to the failure OR lead to future failures (a fuse which was mis-calibrated to the HVAC's spec and higher than normal voltage coming into the house which we reported to PG& for further investigation).

Even though they couldn't tell with 100% confidence what might have caused the issue (could've been the higher than usual voltage from PG&E, a manufacturing defect in the connector, etc.) I appreciated the process of teasing out the potential causes and identifying clear next steps.

Outside the scope of the main work, the team took a deeper look at our electric panel and noticed that the breaker controlling the solar system wasn't appropriately matched with the panel so they replaced that too.

Along the way, I enjoyed communicating with Jeremy & Chris who patiently and clearly answered a variety of technical questions for me.

Thorough, efficient, prompt and courteous--we were really happy with the service provided and highly recommend Hancock.

Hancock added an outlet to our water closet for a bidet seat, and the job was done neatly and quickly--took about 15-20 minutes.

Communication with Hancock was easy; he was very thorough with his questions prior to coming out. He provided us with options given our layout and explained implications and pricing. What we appreciated the most was Hancock's customer service; he was always polite and pleasant.

We look forward to more projects with this service.

I have a two story townhouse that gets hot up stairs in the summer. The two upstairs bedrooms have vaulted ceilings with no existing electrical cans in the ceiling. So, I needed an electrician to install the cans and wire in the associated switch.

So, I called a few contractors and eventually hired Steve who provided a reasonable estimate and was easy to get along with. During the estimate visit, Steve recommended a creative way to retain the switch for wall receptacles ((think table or floor lamps) and add a dedicated switch for the ceiling fans. He also recommended a whole house fan that I hadn't thought of. So he has a bit of creativity and experience to help suggest improvements.

He and John showed up on time for the estimate and install. They also respect the customers home by doing a clean job, tarping the work area and picking up after themselves. They're both very personable and are a pleasure to work with.

We were pretty unsatisfied with this install. We booked a new HVAC through Costco but were pretty disappointed in the execution. It's been two months since the day they started, and we are still having them come fix things before we can get the inspection. We were without heat for days during a heat wave, because they didn't have parts they needed. (Why didn't they know what they needed before they started?) Then they needed more parts and we had to wait another month. They cut the wiring to our drip irrigation/landscaping and put it back together wrong, which we didn't figure out until half of our garden died from not getting watered. They put the metal pieces on our artificial turf while they were installing which burned parts of the grass which now looks awful. They've taken no responsibility for any of these errors, and claimed they couldn't have been responsible for the burned grass even though it wasn't there the day before the install and then it was. They put the thermostat in a new and very odd place without calling me at work to discuss it first (in between a picture frame and a door jam in a very visible area) and said they'd move it but of course it would damage the wall.. Ugh. Just overall very not slick, not responsive, not responsible for their screw-ups, and not competent.
I'm not sure why Costco uses them. :(

But Jason worked us in, no matter how busy he is.

I interviewed 3 electricians to hook up our spa. John took the time to look at our house and layout to come up with the most reasonable way to get power out to the spa. He explained the process and his recommendation. He was always responsive when I reached out.

Alfredo came out to do the work. He arrived early, was careful when in our house, and answered all questions I had. He stayed late to make sure the spa was hooked up and running.  There was one small item he promised to come and take care of the next day. He came as planned and we are all set.

I definitely recommend JMC.

I contacted Brian recently when I had a non-functional exterior outlet at my house, that I needed fixed quickly.  He responded promptly, stayed in contact over email, and was able to come over to check it out the next day.  He was able to diagnose the problem very quickly, and the fix was trivial. Despite my feeling like an idiot for calling him out to my house for almost nothing, he was extremely nice and understanding. He gave me some advice about how to prevent a recurrence of the issue and didn't even charge me!  

I highly recommend him, and I will be sure to use BMH for any future electrical needs I have at my house.

Rob helped us with a wonky light fixture and plug.  He was friendly, helpful, thorough- made sure to explain the why and how. Helped me figure out if we should replace an exhaust fan, what it would take to install a new one, and talking me out of a higher-priced option. Highly recommend him!

Installed a crawl space gfci outlet for me to connect the sump pump. His price was reasonable so I worked with him. He did a good job finished in a timely manner. He also explained everything to me.
I recommend him.

I called Clever Electric yesterday to inquire about some electrical work needed. The first thing he said was it will cost you $129 for me to come out and look  in a not so nice manner.  He probably was on the job or in a bad mood but if you can't answer the phone in a nice way then don't answer. If he had said it to me in a nice professional manner and said that would go towards the whole bill I would have considered hiring him since they have such great reviews. Not now.

Francisco sent his crew back to retest the system, found out that the micro inverters were the issue. Since they are still under warranty  the manufacturer will replace all 24 micro inverters for me. It will take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. But for now I have 3 new inverters working that Francisco was kind enough to let me use it while waiting for the replacement.

Couple of days ago Arkadiy witnessed it when another driver cut in my lane and hit me. Just out of sense of right, he volunteered to pull over with us to tell me he could testify for me if necessary. And his help turned out to be critical.

I will not hesitate recommending Arkadiy to any one who wants to work with a descent and trustworthy contractor. And I personally will use his service for sure if I have the needs.
