Over the holidays, my NEMA 14-50 outlet started to smoke while my EV was charging.  I stopped charging, switched off the breaker and then proceeded to search for an electrician via Yelp.  I reached out to Dan because of the outstanding recommendations on Yelp and his experience assisting customers with EV charger installations and fixes.

The recommendations were spot on.  Less than a few hours after reaching out, Dan was at my house replacing the outlet.  Prior to arriving, he texted his ETA.  He came prepared with the correct materials and was extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and professional.  Dan also provided excellent insights regarding my current charging set up as well as potential improvements.

Darrin presented a program for us to install solar panels and was in competition with two other companies.  His proposal was the most thorough as we had to have a pool solar system removed from the roof prior to installing the panes.  He was the only one who said he would take care of it.  Our panel box had to be moved and he was the only one who said that the stucco work could be done by his company.  The crew that did the work was professional and courteous, knew the inspectors that came to permit and sign off on the work and made everything go smoothly.  The job was cleaned every day.  They were well worth the price and incidentally were lower than the competition.  Great service at a great price.  We couldn't have asked for more.

I had several electrical jobs and issues for Den electric to fix. Two bedrooms of can lighting, a ceiling fan, replace a non-working light with a can light over the laundry area, HDMI port and some outdoor lighting. They took care of all of these jobs in a single day. Super professional and friendly guys. I highly recommend them for any electrical need you have.

We recently had Southwest make extensive upgrades to our new home, including a 200 amp upgrade to our panel. They showed up on time, offered excellent observations/insights/ideas (also bringing up things that I'm really glad they pointed out, without being pushy at all), and were meticulous about their work. Steve, Mike and John are a company of three (I think), so you always know who you're dealing with, and they could not be nicer or more professional. I have complete peace of mind in the high quality of the work, and also the knowledge that if I ever did have a problem I could call and it would be taken care of promptly.

I got in touch with Allison just as our hot tub was being installed on deck on Thursday. Allison was a total rock star despite me catching her at a very busy time - she had us scheduled with Alfredo and Hector for later that day.

Five or free installed 16 recessed lights throughout my home and i couldn't have been happier with the work Gilbert and Tomas did. From the very beginning these gentlemen exceeded my expectations and were extremely helpful and honest  throughout the whole process. I kind of threw them 16 lights and told them to do what they feel is best and my wife and i love everything about them from the light placement to number of lights per room. The thing I loved most about this company is the gentlemen who helped me seemed to truly care about the work they did and to me that means alot to the customer. Anything that I experience in the future dealing with electrical their is no doubt I will be giving five or free a call. Truly professional people. Thank you.

We installed recessed LED lights throughout our house.  The whole experience dealing with Brian and the quality of his were excellent.

He responded to emails promptly, was on time for appointments and gave us a quote that I thought was reasonable.  With the other yelp reviews I went with Brian for the project.

He and the other guy he works with did a great job, covering everything up, being on time every day of work and leaving the work area when they left.  We had Brian pull a permit for the job and he schedule the inspections and everything went well.

We are happy customers.

Rob did an excellent job with installing a new electrical outlet in our laundry room and securing (boxing?) as well as cleaned up exposed wiring in our garage that was done by the previous owner of our new house. His work is very clean. If there was a mess at all, he cleaned up after himself and I really appreciate that.

Unfortunately, the reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is because the main reason that we called him was to fix a problem with the outlets in our kitchen. There is some sort of short that disabled most of the outlets. Can't make coffee, cook rice, toast bread, use the microwave.... it is almost an essential part of every day life. He tried to troubleshoot the problem and even had gotten one (out of 4) of  the outlets to work. He was short on time that day and told me that he'd give us a call to set up another time to finish up his work... but after one week of waiting, we never heard from him.

Not upset that he couldn't finish his work that day, but wish he could have at least called and told us his situation or just told us if he couldn't do the work that we asked him to do. At least it would have saved us time and we would have had someone else come to fix the problem for us. Instead, we were left hanging for a week unable to use half of our kitchen.

Binh Lam came to the rescue again this past weekend. A kitchen appliance circuit breaker or two popped at an inconvenient time thereby limiting my plans for entertaining that evening. Specifically, some kitchen appliances or their circuitry were faulty.
As a seasoned older couple, we always have one person we can call for help when in need. So right away we called Binh. For electrical matters, Binh is # 1 on the list. Always eager to please, he adjusted his busy daily schedule to help me out of a jam. He is more flexible than most electricians. Right away he came some distance to my home and went to work. After assessing the situation he reviewed with me the set of options and I approved one.
As he predicted, in less than an hour, he fixed the problem and cleaned up the area. What a relief! He did buy some parts and provided me with the receipts. His labor costs were quite competitive and reasonable. Customer satisfaction is an objective of his business. He aims to please!
Lam approaches all tasks enthusiastically and confidentially. His work is meticulous, focused and efficient. If you find yourself in a jam with either electrical or gas related problems, don't hesitate to call Binh. We did, and we do not regret it. You won't either.

Was able to convert my conventional tube lights to led after my handyman couldn't do it. Great service and keeps his word.

Francisco sent his crew back to retest the system, found out that the micro inverters were the issue. Since they are still under warranty  the manufacturer will replace all 24 micro inverters for me. It will take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. But for now I have 3 new inverters working that Francisco was kind enough to let me use it while waiting for the replacement.

Great work! Work was professional and done quick. Would recommend anyone looking for an electrician in the Bay Area.
