Randy and Javier do great, fast work! We recently had an outdoor sump pump installed, which required a new dedicated circuit and a weatherproof plug box to support it. Randy talked me through some options, clearly explained the work they intended to do, and they were in and out in about 3 hours. Reasonably priced given the labor and parts involved. I'd definitely call them for our next job.

Robert is very responsive and explains what needs to happen before doing the work. He installed an EV outlet in my garage and fixed an issue with an outdoor outlet also. Overall, I am very pleased with his work and I would recommend to use his services. Thanks Robert!

I had a great experience with Bay Area Maintenance. I had Dan over to help me hook up my thermostat when I was having AC issues. Dan was able to re-wire and install my thermostat correctly as well as diagnose that my compressor wasn't working properly and that I needed to have HVAC professionals come repair it. Dan seemed very honest and was genuinely reluctant to take my money when my AC still wasn't working even though it wasn't his fault. I cannot recommend him enough.

I selected Got Watts Electric & Solar to install a residential solar system on my house in Antioch. My experience with Got Watts was professional and informative from start to finish. Most communication was by email which I like more than phone calls because it provides a information to reference. The price was not the lowest but it was near the lower end. But the panels and equipment were superior to the lower quoted systems. When I needed a sub panel put in, Got Watts included it in the price. It was not so with other quotes. The sub-panel they put in has expansion capabilities and wouldn't if they had gone with the minimum needed. The solar panels they offer include top of the line. The system includes monitoring the performance of the individual panels, not just the system. They took care of all the permits, setup, inspections and submitting paperwork to PG&E. They replaced some cracked roof tiles that had been bonded together with good ones removed from where the solar rack was installed to hold the panels. I highly recommend Got Watts.

Requested a quote to look at my bedroom light switch that smell burnt. Not even 10min,I got response back and gave me quote right away and they're be able to come by the house within 15min. Hancock looked at the burned light switch and fix the problem in a timely manner. He was informative and explained what caused the problem.

Steve, who I believe is the owner, is really responsive and gets back to really quickly. I've used them several times and the electricians are very knowledgable and friendly. They do a great job and charge reasonable prices which is unusual for an electrician. When they quote a job they stick by the price even if it takes longer for them to complete it. I recommend them highly.

Told us they could have us scheduled and installed within a month. When the instalation date was getting close I called them and they didn't even have us on the schedule. They had forgotten about us for two weeks and whos knows how much longer if I never called.

Two weeks after the initial agreed upon start date they actually scheduled us for an inspection, not an installation like we were promised. Some one had already come out to look and recommend a system but I guess that person was just for show?

It's been 2 months and we were just told a DAY before installation that they don't have our AC unit. It'll be a minimum of an additional 2 weeks before they can install the unit. They charged us last week insisting it needed to be done prior to installation.

I am so disappointed in the scheduling department and the communication we should have received.  I get it, things take longer with these services but telling us the day before you didn't have our unit is unacceptable. This should have been communicated sooner.

Who knows when we will get our AC unit? They clearly dont.

Great service! We were referred by Hot Tub Warehouse. Jon was responsive to all my questions and was flexible in scheduling. Jacob, the technician who did the work, was friendly and thorough. He made sure everything was working properly, and he took the time to explain everything he was doing and made sure I knew how to operate all the features of the spa. Great experience; I would highly recommend them.

Used in the past and they were great. Latest experience was sub-par. Made an appointment for a quote from 11-1. Took off work to wait at home during that window, and then headed back to work. Guy showed up at 1.15, but I was already gone.
They apologized and we rescheduled for a Thursday, 9-11. They called the day before and asked to change the time, which was fine.  They actually showed up, and the technician was good, very courteous and knowledgeable. However, he said he would send us a quote by the next day. It is now a week later and we never got a quote, even after emailing  customer service. It's a shame, beacuse in the past they have been very reliable.

Wow. One of the best professional services experiences I've had to date. New home owner and the lights and electric weren't what they should have been. Brian and his partner worked on a Sunday to transform our home's lighting- and we couldn't be happier with the result. Took literally all day, and safe to say the work ethic at BMH is unmatched. Beyond that, Brian is friendly, responsive, and highly knowledgeable about his craft. I'll be working with BMH for the duration - hard to find a great resources like this in the Bay Area.

This review is overdue but my experience with Odom Electric has been excellent -- every time.  

We first worked with Rob Odom when installing new lighting throughout the kitchen and living room.  Rob is a straight shooter and was professional all the way.  he took care of things like he was working on his own house.  We had special ordered a chandelier that arrived a couple days after the other lighting work was completed and paid.  I was going to put it up since it arrived late -- but he said it was part of the job and came out to hang it.  Aren't contractors supposed to disappear after you pay?.... not Rob.

Later I had to call him up after I drilled into an electrical line while installing shelves in the soon-to-be baby room.  Rob was able to come out -- arrived on time and knocked out the work at a great price.  He didn't bust my chops about my bone-headed mistake and ran a new line in no time.  My pregnant wife was relieved to know we had safe wiring once again.

Last we contacted Odom electric to move some electrical switches and add new outside lighting.  What i really appreciate about Rob is he took the time to come out and assess the job and give me a detailed quote.  He listens and is totally willing to discuss options -- and not just the ones that make it easiest for him.  The work he did was excellent, clean and professional.

I consider myself a competent do-it-myself man (ah ok, the previous drill meets electrical line incident is not representative) but when it comes to electrical work, its awesome having a good electrician I trust to do professional work at a more than honest and fair price.  I don't hesitate at all in recommending Odom Electric to friends and folks needing an electrician.

Binh Lam came to the rescue again this past weekend. A kitchen appliance circuit breaker or two popped at an inconvenient time thereby limiting my plans for entertaining that evening. Specifically, some kitchen appliances or their circuitry were faulty.
As a seasoned older couple, we always have one person we can call for help when in need. So right away we called Binh. For electrical matters, Binh is # 1 on the list. Always eager to please, he adjusted his busy daily schedule to help me out of a jam. He is more flexible than most electricians. Right away he came some distance to my home and went to work. After assessing the situation he reviewed with me the set of options and I approved one.
As he predicted, in less than an hour, he fixed the problem and cleaned up the area. What a relief! He did buy some parts and provided me with the receipts. His labor costs were quite competitive and reasonable. Customer satisfaction is an objective of his business. He aims to please!
Lam approaches all tasks enthusiastically and confidentially. His work is meticulous, focused and efficient. If you find yourself in a jam with either electrical or gas related problems, don't hesitate to call Binh. We did, and we do not regret it. You won't either.

Just finishing remodeling my house. My, the owner of Clever electric, was extremely professional. The entire electric crew are courteous, neat, pay attention to details, on time. They know the code and their electrical stuff. I added RGB lights in the living room and LED strips in the coffer walls. Clever Electric did an awesome job.
