Found this company on Craigslist and talked to Mr Gustavo H.  I took a chance and went with GNH.  Professional, knowledgable, and courteous team upgraded the panel, installed a dedicated line for my microwave, and also replaced the wiring for my electric stove.  I couldn't be happier.  I highly recommend GNH for your next electrical project.  They are trustworthy and on time.  I have to give them credit for a job well done and wanted to share my positive experience on Yelp.

The real test for getting an electrician is when you have a small job, not a large one. I had a small job - change flourescent lights to LED. I called four electricians. Two didn't return my call and one didn't seem very interested but did submit me a bid that seemed overpriced. Tari Electric returned my call within a few hours and came out on the next business day, did the work I needed and submitted a very reasonable bill. He was also a very nice guy and I was pleased to see that he's teaching his son and another young guy the trade. I will definitely call him again whenever I need an electrician for another job, small or large.

Roman knows his stuff, does great work, professional, really enjoyed working with him. Our first experience with him was with installing recessed lights (he provides all materials), left not one scratch on our vaulted ceilings, despite the tricky access via attic. We'll have him back to assist with panel expansion/upgrade.

What a great experience! Chris and Josh have been rewiring our home from aluminum to copper. We had lost power to parts of our home. They discovered that there had been a small fire in our furnace and replaced the outlet so it allows higher voltage and is up to standard. They are beyond professional and explain everything in great detail. Their knowledge and workmanship is outstanding, they are a pleasure to have around, and they clean up after!

We had lost power in half our home. I called AY EMP and Andrew was able to come by our place the same day. Not only did he find the problem within an hour , he was able to remedy the problem and run to the hardware store to grab us a new part. His quote was really reasonable and he saved the day for us.

James put in 31 can lights in my ceilings, fixed a circuit, installed 2 bathroom fans, a GFI circuit, porch lights at front, back and side doors, 3 new outlets, and more and did it, like clockwork. I was amazed.

The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. Chuck really saved the day for us. We initially called him to help out with some electrical work, which he completed really quickly and thoroughly. He explained the issue and the fix and then fixed it.

From there, our conversation turned to an issue we were having with installing a new dishwasher. He changed his plans for the day to stay and help us install the new dishwasher. Again he was thorough and really put in quality work. We'll definitely be calling him next time we have a need. He's also a very nice, relatable guy.

We worked with Emanuel to update our old 40A(!) service panel to a new 200A panel, to replace all the old knob and tube wiring in the house, and to fix some amateurish sub-panel work performed by previous owners.

Of all the electricians I contacted for this job, he's the only one who actually seemed interested in doing this job. His price seemed reasonable, and he was always straightforward and informative about the work he would need to do.

The entire process took over a month because we needed to get permits and to coordinate with PG&E to run new 220V overhead service wires to the house, but throughout Emanuel was always easy to reach and quick to respond to texts and voicemails, even when he was busy with other projects.

He and his assistant finished the interior work quickly and with a minimum amount of mess. He even installed extra GFCI breakers for when we update our kitchen in the future. Overall, a very good experience.

They did a great job installing our new electric panel to replace a 60 year old one. It was not a simple job and they came up with a solution none if the other bidders suggested that saved many thousands of dollars and permit headaches. Excellent all around.

Fred installed a handrail onto the existing one which was too wide for me to hold on especially after my recent injury.

He is very friendly and compassionate. Having learned about my injury he tried to come as soon as possible.

He is punctual and listened to my demands carefully and did a wonderful job. He even repaired my bathroom door free of charge!

They say in construction it's about time, cost and quality - you get to choose two.  Somehow with Safety First you'll be getting all three!  Ronnie came to my house to give me a quote for a new EV home charger and the rest was history.  He walked me through the process and was able to explain complex electrical concepts so that they made sense and I was able to make informed decisions about how to proceed.  After careful decision making, Ronnie and I agreed that a panel upgrade made the most sense for my aging home.  He was also able to help install an additional 220 outlet that will now allow me to move my dryer away from natural gas and make the most of my solar.  He was also able to install BEAUTIFUL recessed lighting throughout our home, something that had previously be a low point of our home's aesthetics.  Finally, Ronnie was able to install a gorgeous chandelier over our kitchen table that utilizes stunning Edison bulbs.  I seriously feel like I live in a brand new home thanks to Safety First!

Larry is fantastic! The circuit breaker tripped for our bedroom and wouldn't reset. I called 3 electricians, and Larry responded promptly and was able to fit me into his schedule the same day. He is diligent, patient, and thorough in his work, which is exactly the attitude needed when troubleshooting electrical gremlins. I felt that I was in good hands with somebody who cared about the quality of his work and fixing it right. Thanks Larry!
