Gustavo and his team of electricians was efficient and completed their work professionally in less time than originally estimated.  I appreciated their attention to detail and Gustavo's willingness to make an extra trip to exchange a broken/defective light fixture at Home Depot.

The real test for getting an electrician is when you have a small job, not a large one. I had a small job - change flourescent lights to LED. I called four electricians. Two didn't return my call and one didn't seem very interested but did submit me a bid that seemed overpriced. Tari Electric returned my call within a few hours and came out on the next business day, did the work I needed and submitted a very reasonable bill. He was also a very nice guy and I was pleased to see that he's teaching his son and another young guy the trade. I will definitely call him again whenever I need an electrician for another job, small or large.

I had a last minute issue with an oven tripping a breaker, and Roman was super responsive, and literally was able to get onsite in a couple of hours, and quickly and professionally resolve the issue.  I highly recommend!

As all the previous reviewers mentioned, Grover Electric is fantastic.  Timely, friendly, competent, fair... what more can you ask for.  I left messages with other electrical companies in the area, no one else returned my calls.  I'll be giving Grover Electric all my electrical needs and projects in the future.  My highest recommendation.

This company has ineffective organization from top down. Starting from their crews.  The first one (Rey) took the job early 2018. Only I heard was complaining about PGE and conflicting with my contractor.

Without good communication to others, my PGE application got cancelled without being informed. We lost approx. 4 months of time and needed to resubmit another application. Later on the first guy had conflict with his company and left with a mess. The 2nd guy (Chris) took over. Nothing had improved . Only he said was the mess had nothing to do with him, just got assigned to clean up his friend's mess (he could not clean up anyway).

The owner took over the project after a few complaints. We wasted another 4 months with him (from Nov-Feb). Since the underground wiring will take 6 months from PGE and house was almost done, we decided to go over head. The owner wanted to charge us $4,000 vs. no charge with our contractor. I told him my contractor could do free of charge. Since no more business in sight, to reduce his cost, he removed our temp power a week later. We were in the dark without power for construction a week.

It is unfortunate to deal with this crappy company that is full with ineffective and selfish people. Cheap /easy project may be ok, not big project like house remodeling/construction. They are not capable.  By the way, the first guy charged me 95$ for just replacing one (1) CO detector while I could get a pack of 3 at Costco at $28.99. A lot of good companies out there, don' count on them.

Andrew came to the rescue on a hot day he repaired my AC. I truly appreciate his transparency. He was the only one out of five vendors that told me upfront the cost of Freon and his fee. My repair request was incorrect. With that said he figured out the issue and charged me a fair price. If you want someone trustworthy with experience, I highly recommend AY EMP. It is a pleasure to work with a the second generation of local contractors that care. Thank you AY EMP

James is really a fantastic electrician.  Very knowledgeable and detailed oriented.  He goes over all the options that are available and will make sure that the job is done right the first time.  I have had James do quite a bit of work to our house and have been happy with all of it.  I highly recommend James.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. I highly recommend them.

My tub was beginning to leak where it joins with the tub door, so I called various places for quotes, but Chuck was the only one who asked meaningful questions about my dilemma and was able to give me a thorough and accurate run-through of what the repair job would entail.  From this I gathered that he is a detail-oriented person who is expert at what he does, which was later confirmed to be true by the wonderful results of his work.  For example, he did his research by reading through the manual for the exact model tub that I had and followed the directions to a tee on what type adhesive to use, something that the previous homeowner's handyman neglected to do obviously.  One of my tub doors had a handle that was falling out of place and he even fixed that, so it literally felt like I came home to a brand new tub.

Another thing I appreciated was how careful he was with moving things around and keeping things clean, because I imagine working with tubs and leaks can get messy but I came home to a perfectly clean and tidy bathroom.  Chuck is also extremely thoughtful and respectful-- without being asked he took off his shoes when entering the house.  He's also very kind and cheery with his words, which makes a world of a difference when dealing with the stress of things breaking down in the house.

I've already recommended him to friends and family and would call him up again should something else need fixing in the future.  Quality handymen really are rare to come by these days.

Emanuel and his crew are fantastic. My wife and I have used him for a number of projects around the house ranging from installing ceiling fans to adding circuit breakers to installing a charger for an electric car. I highly recommend Emanuel to anyone who needs electrical work done!

We have called upon California Power and Light (CPL) several times to do work at our home in Morgan Hill. Henry was on-time, efficient, and offered great service at a reasonable price. He gave us other ideas of how best to light our patio and backyard areas which was very helpful. The guys at CPL are 100% professional and we really appreciated working with us on making a time work. We will use them again would recommend them without hesitation.

We had an emergent partial power outage in our garage on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily we found Fred! He was super helpful on the phone trying to guide us through the fixes and eventually he had to come over. He showed up within 30 minutes of us calling him and he got the problem resolved within an hour!

Fred is super nice and efficient and really knows how things work. We'll definitely come back to him if anything else pops up!

Definitely 5 star worthy ! In desperate need to get my kitchen outlets working after a tear out of counter( United marble and granite Santa Clara , awful co.) and David was so accommodating he came the same day in evening and replaced a gfi and got all my outlets working in an hour!

Super responsive with info, quick to come out to my house, and reasonable. He was easy to set things up with over a handful of yelp messages, actually took care in what he was doing, and offered same day Sunday service!

All the lights went out in my kitchen and I couldn't figure out what to do. I called up these guys and they responded super quick and came by and helped me out right away. I never leave reviews but Ronnie was super professional and helpful that I had to say something. U don't get quality honest help like this now a days. Definitely give these guys a shot.
