GNH is great! Gustavo and his team are professional, meticulous, and do amazing work. We hired them to do the electrical for our kitchen remodel and they were amazing. In addition to what we asked them to do, they went above and beyond fixing existing issues and making suggestions that I would never have thought of. On top of all that, they are really nice people and their prices are reasonable. Having an electrician you can count on is important and I'm happy I found GNH.

Anyone who has gone through any kind of home renovation knows how taxing it can become IF you do not have the right contractors lined up for the job. My husband and I just went through a kitchen overhaul and we decided to use Tari Electric for our electrical work. During his walk thru and assessment, Moises was very thorough in explaining his suggestions and plan. Once on the job, he was very professional, knowledgeable and worked neatly. When we called him back for another job (same project), he was readily available and just as good. We'd definitely refer Tari Electric to anyone seeking an electrician.

Roman just left after fixing my backyard landscape low voltage lighting, which I had broken when replacing some plants. He was quick, friendly, and very reasonably priced. I'll use him again.

UPDATE: I used Roman again in June of 2016 to do a whole list of small items from installing several new plugs, replacing some old plugs and switches, installing a new low voltage light in the front garden, and installing a second GFI for all the plugs in my front yard that I use for my extensive Halloween and Christmas displays.

Roman is now our go-to guy for electrical needs. I'm getting ready to call Roman again with another list of small items for him to take care of for us.  :)

Couldn't be happier with Rick. Quick response to Yelp's request for quote, fits you into schedule within a day or so, is on time, and does great work! We've had him here twice, once for troubleshooting, once to install The Ring doorbell. He's friendly, works fast and is now my go-to guy for all things electrical.

Excellent, professional, friendly service at a fair price. I needed to replace a couple of switches and have a fixture looked at.  I know of Dalcon Electric through another electrician who I normally use, but is out of the area and wasn't available for a couple of weeks, and I have new tenants moving in before then so I contacted Dalcon.  I spoke with Sarah who was very nice and she scheduled me within a couple days with a 2-hour window arrival time. On the day of the visit I received a call 30 minutes prior to the technician's arrival, which allowed me to finish up an errand and meet the technician at my home.  Rey Inez was the technician.  Rey did an outstanding job.  From the nice clean uniform, to wearing protective booties in my home, to explaining options and pricing prior to starting the work, Rey did it all with a smile and no
pressure.  He clearly loves his job.  He completed the work and cleaned up the work areas once he finished.  He asked me if there was anything else he could help with and I jokingly told him I had a window blind to hang but was having some trouble.  No, he didn't hang the blind, but he went out of his way and took 5 minutes to explain (found out he has construction/window/door experience) I need a special type of screw and then went to his truck and brought back the screw to show me what it looks like!  What great genuine customer service!  I highly recommend this company, they truly care.  Thanks Rey!

*Please Read Before You Buy* this review which isn't just about his impeccable attention to detail or better prices, rather it's about being quoted $1,800  from another local high-profile electrician to replace my breaker box which he stated was absolutely necessary, without bothering to troubleshoot. Romero from SV Electric quoted me a price almost half of what his competitor wanted but in the end within 2 minutes Romero identified the problem - a loose screw causing an arc - and charged $10 for replacement parts plus a reasonable service call fee... on a SUNDAY. Lightening-fast communication and honesty beyond reproach. The Bay Area is absolutely fortunate to have such an honest, highly-qualified and detail-oriented electrician.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. I highly recommend them.

I just called Chuck to have him look at my kitchen sink and garbage disposal, which were backed up. Rather than coming over and charging me $75 for a visit, he simply walked me through some steps to diagnose and fix the problem -- all over the phone and free of charge.  Not only was he super helpful and responsive, he clearly has ton of  expertise. Thank you, Chuck! You just made my weekend :)

Emanuel came over went into a detailed idea of what he was going to do and how he was going to do it for an electrical panel upgrade. Checked out panel etc with covid safe protocols. Said he would get me out a detailed quote with price, March 1st or 2nd. They would get me a quote in the next few days, no quote or response. Then April 2nd he texted me again saying sorry he was busy and he would write me a quote this weekend and then no email quote or follow up as of April 20th.  Seemed like a good guy who knew was he was talking about just didn't want the business I guess.

So glad to find a reputable electrician!! I've been trying for weeks to get an electrician (called multiple electricians/companies) to do a small job. Most wouldn't return my call and one agreed to to the work but kept pushing out the work date. Was referred to California Power & Light. I made one call, Henry (the owner?) answered, provided a reasonable estimate range over the phone. He called me the next day to schedule his team. One day later the his guys showed up on time, completed the job in less than 2 hours, were professional and cleaned up when finished. I highly recommend Henry and his team!!!

Huge thanks to Fred's Handyman Service for helping me cross a big item off of my to-do list.  I actually enjoy doing most tasks on my own but sometimes, I find it quicker to have someone with the right tools and know-how to get it done correctly the first time.  This was the case here - I needed a security gate hung but I had an odd transition between wood siding and stucco which had the door trim on either side at different heights.  I highly doubted I could have made this look good on my own so I sent Jay a couple pictures and he came to do a couple quick measurements.  Then, on the agreed upon day, he showed up on time, with all the right tools and necessary boards and got the door installed without any headache.  

Jay's overall very communicative and responsive over text and thorough with the job.  When my list gets long again, or if there are tasks that I know may take too much time or effort, I know exactly who I'll be calling.

I called David last Thursday because all of our large appliances had been turning on and off intermittently.  I was very concerned that the power issues were going to eventually fry all our large appliances - leaving us with not only fixing our electrical issues, but also buying all new large appliances.  

David returned my email almost immediately.  He was able to come in and fix our issue that same day (I called around 8:00 and he met me at my condo at 1:00).  He was able to fix the issue in a short amount of time while also explaining all that went wrong.  He also recommended that I call my HOA to confirm that this repair wouldn't be covered by them (HOA didn't cover it)- rather than just doing the repair right away and taking my money.  I appreciated him thinking of that.  

I absolutely recommend David.  He is a kind, reliable local electrician - who will get the job done.

From the initial contact and request for quote, Mr Zhang was to the point, quoted me the dollar amount for the repairs I needed. Was even willing to come in the same day to do the repairs.

Arrived exact at the appointed time, wore a mask and booties and completed the repairs in 45 minutes. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Very quick to get back to me. He does very clean work and was able to get it done on the same day. Very professional electrician.

I put out a request on Yelp in the morning and Sam came by in less than an hour to complete the task. A few hours after he had left, I had another job for him and he came back within the hour (twice in a day) to finish this second task. I would recommend him if you have any projects that you need help with around the house.

Larry and his assistant, Dan, were out to deal with a faulty ballast in one of the street lights in our condo complex. They have been able to repair others for us even though they are hard to find parts for because of their age. Both exude knowledge, experience, and genuine friendliness. A delight to work with.
