I called them as recommended from Angie's List. I asked for a estimate for a minor electric issue.  I read the reviews and was hoping for the best. I was not given an estimate over the phone. If I would have gotten at least an estimate I would have told them not to bother. To my shock, the job I requested would take no more that 15 minutes, as it was to change a motion light. I was told it would cost $250! The part only cost me $20. I was then told off hand with Dalcon I could get it done for $100. I said NO THANK YOU! They might be a good company, but I would not know nor would I recommend them.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. Smoothly arranged an appointment and was pleasantly surprised that Chuck could fix my front door so quickly and easily.  (The previous handyman -- Brother's -- had charged me as much and merely gouged out the latch hole a bit which didn't solve the problem.)   He did the work last month, but I waited until now to write the review because I wanted to be sure that he had fixed the real problem well.  Sure enough, the door works like it is brand new.

Chuck diagnosed the problem and described in clearly to me.  He then went an extra mile to make sure I got exactly the right replacement door part.  I went from dreading the next house repair to looking forward to getting any repairs I need fixed by Chuck.  He found the real problem, fixed it beautifully, and charged a surprisingly reasonably amount.  I highly recommend his work.

We needed electrical work done for a gas insert. California Power and Light came recommended by California Window and Fireplace.  Mike and Javier were on time, and professional.  The job was done well and very quickly They kept the job site clean and cleaned up after they were done. The price was good and there were no problems.
We were very happy with the experience.

I had two outlets with issues one was loose and the second one was about to get loose and need to connect with the switch (the previous owner bypassed the switch). I called a couple of handymen before this job but they charge $280 minimum to come and don't do the job well so I was then got really afraid to call anyone. Yesterday, it got really broken and needs a fix. With fear, I called Fred. From the very first moment on the call, I felt Fred is very professional and will (or hope he will) do the job well. And indeed experience was A+++. He came on time. He properly inspected all wires, cleaned them up, and installed new sockets. I thought I will have to replace all boxes and I asked for quotes with that (to avoid surprises later on) but he fixed it without box replacement and saved my bucks. He also connected the switch with a plug which no one was ready to even look at without charging $250-280. Yes, this was a very small job but now I have a true helper if I need a big job.

My main breaker went out today at 1:15 pm.  I got on yelp and looked in my area for an electrician.  Went through about 5 people and came across davids yelp.  I called him at about 1:30 told him my problem.  He had me text him a picture of my panel.  He got the picture while we were on the phone.  Told me he was very familiar with my type on panel.  He dropped what he was doing, ran by a a store he knew would carry the breaker.  He just finished and it's 2:45.  David is the man.  Super friendly and didn't waste anytime.  He also likes ice cold bubbly water. haha.  He charged me a price that was extremely reasonable I ended up giving him more because he stopped what he was doing for me.  He is now saved in my contacts and I just wanted to tell anyone who needs electrical work about this man.  Thanks david.

Based on my previous update the requisite person contacted me and then set up an appointment so that he could make it right.

Showed up explained the setup and how would it all work eventually.
The circuit breaker that we need is not in stock hence will have to wait out till it becomes available.

They say in construction it's about time, cost and quality - you get to choose two.  Somehow with Safety First you'll be getting all three!  Ronnie came to my house to give me a quote for a new EV home charger and the rest was history.  He walked me through the process and was able to explain complex electrical concepts so that they made sense and I was able to make informed decisions about how to proceed.  After careful decision making, Ronnie and I agreed that a panel upgrade made the most sense for my aging home.  He was also able to help install an additional 220 outlet that will now allow me to move my dryer away from natural gas and make the most of my solar.  He was also able to install BEAUTIFUL recessed lighting throughout our home, something that had previously be a low point of our home's aesthetics.  Finally, Ronnie was able to install a gorgeous chandelier over our kitchen table that utilizes stunning Edison bulbs.  I seriously feel like I live in a brand new home thanks to Safety First!
