Gustavo and his team are very professional and efficient. From the first call, Gustavo was very responsive and offered many helpful suggestions when I told him what we wanted, and gave me a quote on the spot.

Gustavo installed recessed lighting all over the house with smart dimmer switches and also installed a new line for electric car-charging and one for a smart doorbell. He took extra care and added an option to change the warmth of recessed lighting in a room with other lights of different colors, so that we could match the new lighting with the rest of the room.

Gustavo and his team completed all the work very quickly and we're thrilled with everything they've done. If we get more work done, we're definitely going to get it done from GnH.

We asked for an estimate to install a ceiling fan.  Set a date and it was installed correctly and to our liking.  Great service, we will be using their services again soon.

Roman is extremely responsive.  My air conditioner stopped working and I thought it was a blown fuse that needed replacing. He fit me into his very busy schedule and came the same day to check it.  Although it turned out that my fuses were good and I still need to wait for the air-conditioner guy to figure out what's going on I have a better idea of what to tell him now. I'm happy because now I found a great electrician and I will definitely use him for my new stairway lights!  I highly recommend Roman and Penguin Electric

We had an issue at our home where a number of outlets stopped working after plugging in an appliance. I called Grover Electric and got an immediate call back. After explaining the issue, they walked me through the potential solution, and within 15 minutes I had an appointment scheduled for their first available time slot. They provided an estimate over the phone that I was very comfortable with.

Pepe showed up at our house on time and was very friendly. We have 3 dogs and a newborn, and he was comfortable with the dogs and was very kind and aware to not disturb our child. He started working immediately and diagnosed a number of issues at the house that we did not anticipate. He worked diligently and efficiently to correct the issues we had, and even provided some advice on what we can improve at the house without pushing us into spending more money. He was extremely fair in the final price he gave us, which was even better than the quote I received!

I highly recommend Grover Electric, and especially Pepe for anything you might need. I will be hiring them any time I have electrical issues or questions.

Had the owner, James and his assistant Brandon over this weekend to install recessed lighting. They did an AMAZING job. The lights look great and it was a huge job that they managed to get done in record time. They arrived at 7am and immediately got to work busting out light after light.
They were also extremely clean when working and actually vacuumed when finished. I think my floor is cleaner now than it was before they came. LOL.
I got quotes from multiple electricians and all were either more expensive, less experienced or just flat out sketchy. SV electric gave the most competitive quote- the best timeline and seemed by far the most knowledgeable. The owner even worked with us to change the quote a million times to fit our budget which was very appreciated because changing the quote over and over again I am sure gets annoying. :-p
Originally we expected the lights for the house to be put in over 2 days, but thanks to the tireless work of James and Brandon- they were actually able to do the install in 1 day.
Amazing considering other electricians were going to charge more and expected the project to take anywhere from 3-5 days.
Very pleased with the high quality and fair pricing. Even the little screws on the light switches are lined up with each other..... a small detail that it speaks volumes about the attention to detail and the actions they take to do things the right way when working.
We happened to have a friend over while the work was being done and our friend who has also been looking for an electrician and was super impressed at the speed and diligence taken during the install.
Going to have SV back out to do more electrical work in the future. So glad we went with SV and didn't fall for one of the other more expensive companies on Yelp who estimated 3 days or the cheaper handyman electrician who claimed it would take a week to do.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. I highly recommend them.

I had two issues that hit me recently.  The ice-maker for my fridge and my faucet stopped working.  I gave Chuck a call and we were able to quickly setup an appointment to get him in and look at the issue.  He was quick and professional, came in diagnosed my problem told me what needed to be done and went about fixing the issue.

A great experience overall and would definitely call on him again if I need help in the future.

We just had Emanuel upgrade our panel to 200 amps. He arrived exactly on time, explained what he was going to and how long it would take. He and his helper jumped in and had us up and running by days end. The rates were fantastic and we even  had our inspection completed the same day. Everything looks super professional, our new panel was much larger than the one it replaced so there was a large amount of stucco repair needed. This was handled just as professionally as the panel upgrade. If you need this work done and want to feel good about this important upgrade, I can't recommend Emanuel highly enough. Because I bought an in-home sauna that required a dedicated circuit, I checked on Yelp for an electrician with great reviews and CP&L arrived within a few days during a busy holiday schedule for all involved. When Henry's team arrived at the appointed time, we discussed the dedicated circuit and upgrading our 40+ year old panel AND the possibility of not upgrading our panel saving us a few thousand dollars, In the end, it was our choice and we decided to upgrade with the idea that we would add electrical to the backyard project that may not happen in my life time. Yes, the electrical project cost more than the sauna, but it was in my mind, a pay now or pay later situation.

After the estimate of a panel upgrade, permit, stucco repair, and dedicated circuit, I decided to contract with CP&L and paid the 10% deposit. After the estimating team left, Henry called to schedule the job a week out which gave me time to assemble the sauna and clear the space for it and apply for a new credit card which would give me much needed miles/points.

Before the job, Henry notified me that my power would be out for the day and that his team would need access to the crawl space which was no problem. I have been down this road before.

Although it took a week for the inspector to come out to give the stamp of approval, I was able to use the sauna as soon as the electrical work was done which took less than a day. The CP&L team was professional, courteous, and conscientious. Above all, Henry was gracious and patient in waiting for my new credit card to arrive! Thank you. I am extremely happy with the work.

Talks a nice talk but doesn't do a thorough job and unresponsive when trying to reach for unfinished job.

Air gap is where the dishwasher drain hose is connected to prevent backflow. It is usually located on the top of the sink and is covered by a simple cap. Anyway the hose had appeared to have a blockage and water was coming out through the air gap during draining. Since my regular handyman was out, I looked up yelp and found Fred. He was very responsive and came the very next day. He told me that this is quite a common issue. He removed the hose and showed me that there was no dirt or debris causing the blockage but theorized that because the hose was too long, it could have bent in a way blocking the draining water. He cut a little bit of the hose and connected it back to the air gap on one end and garbage disposal at the other end. However there was a leak at the garbage disposal end. He used navy sealant tape (which he explained were the best) and wound some of it around the leak. This seemed to address the leak. I was happy, gave him what he asked for with the issue seemingly fixed.

However that afternoon when we ran the dishwasher, it started leaking near the spot where he had put the navy sealant tape. I reached out immediately on the same day and on multiple times through the next few days but got no response. I sent one final message telling him that this would be  my last text message before I write a review. He responded immediately and said that he would need to replace the garbage disposal also (which is perfectly working fine btw) if the leak need to be addressed for an amount of $290. Thanks and no thanks Fred!

I called my regular handyman after his message, he came by, spent 10 minutes and fixed the leak. It was apparently a simple job to tighten the hose and that was all it was needed. To me Fred appeared weak (looked  elderly to me), and definitely sought my assistance to hold one end of the hose tightly while he went about fixing the issue. I was wary of the COVID situation but did not have the heart to say no to this.

My main gripe here is that there was no leak prior to this handyman removing the hose. A leak sprung up after he connected the hose back. He did not bother to come by and address the leak, coming up with all kinds of weird excuses including replacing a perfectly working kitchen garbage disposal!

A real, conscientious handyman who takes pride in his work would have come by and taken care of a problem that he caused.

David was wonderful to work with and figured out an electrical issue that two other electricians missed. He is very thorough, friendly and reliable. His prices are very reasonable as well. We will be using David going forward for all our electrical needs. I highly recommend him to others.

All the lights went out in my kitchen and I couldn't figure out what to do. I called up these guys and they responded super quick and came by and helped me out right away. I never leave reviews but Ronnie was super professional and helpful that I had to say something. U don't get quality honest help like this now a days. Definitely give these guys a shot.

I asked SM to help me replace a light fixture. Their team arrived on time and they were able to rapidly install the light fixture for me. It works like a charm and I'm happy I hired SM!

Larry Strum responded immediately for a request to repair the outdoor outlet for our sprinkler system. He quickly diagnoised the problem and repaired the outlet with a superior part. He was efficient and pleasant . I highly recommend him for electrical repairs.
