I have been using Mike for the past eight years with my rentals. He has been exceptionally responsive and has always completed the job in a timely manner. His customer service is outstanding and the cost is extremely reasonable. I would not use anyone else!!

Brian at Definitive Plumbing did a great job installing an air gap. He quickly understood the problem I was having. It was easy to communicate with Brian. He did the work quickly, and his pricing is fair. I will use Definitive Plumbing for my future plumbing needs.

I am returning customer writing my second great review. I own a rental Condo unit in downtown 9th avenue. My tenant called me Sunday around 11 AM regarding two plumbing issues, one in kitchen sink and second in bathtub. Since I had great experience with Rafael, I called him and he responded immediately. Around 1:30 in the afternoon he was in my Condo unit and fixed both issues. Great service, fast response and reasonable price. Don't even hesitate to call Lefty's plumbing anytime. I will call him again for any plumbing issue at my house or my rental property.

Dr. Rooter is very responsive and communicates very well with details and estimated price. I had to cancel our first appointment and appreciate his professionalism. When I called to re-schedule, he happened to move around his schedule so he can work with my availability and came to fix/replace my water valve the same day I called him. Excellent service!! This guy George  came this morning and fixed my problem really quickly. They charge for the labor and the parts,no BS  (unlike many other plummers!). I highly recommend this guys.

We had a pipe in the kitchen that had been severed and repaired with tape by a previous owner (unbeknownst to us).  The broken pipe was discovered after we replaced the sink.  We called AAA Plumbing yesterday morning and Steve said he'd arrive yesterday afternoon which he did.  

Steve was very honest, knowledgeable and helpful.  He fixed the severed pipe very quickly and efficiently.  We are very happy with his work!  We'd hire him again!!

Came to look at my water heater while I was away and they won't pick up their phone to let me know what is going on...

I want to share with anyone reading this review about experiences I have had with Sherlock Heating and Air. Let me begin by saying that all of their technicians are respectful and pleasant. A few years ago the company installed mini-split air conditioning systems in our home to the cost of many thousands. Recently, when the one of the systems stopped working I was told, by a Sherlock technician, that the system they installed was inferior and the inferior system would now cost me $4500 to replace a solenoid on the entire system. This experience was followed by Sherlock plumbers replacing 3 flaps in 3 toilet tanks, cost was $600. A water purifying system under our kitchen sink, I was told would need 4 filters changed every 6 months. I thought I could change them and agreed to the installation. I realized that it was more complicated than originally thought. Yesterday one of their technicians told me the cost would be $1100---every 6 months!  After complaining about that cost the technician quoted a price of $387. I was shocked!! Do you think $673 would have been returned to me if I had been stupid enough to agree? If you do not mind grossly overpaying, call Sherlock Heating and Air.

This complany had super fast response time, Joshua was very courteous and professional. I was impressed with how quickly and efficicently Joshua worked.  He showed up on time (on a Sunday even!) He was able to do some trouble shooting and diagnose a major plumbing issue, helping me look at options.  I was very comfortable with him in my home, and highly recommend him. Great experience with a water heater replacement - showed up exactly when he said he would, confirmed issues with old water heater in minutes, clearly communicated replacement options, and had a new one installed same day.

This was the second time I have used their services. The first time, they taught me how to clean the little filter in the kitchen faucet, which has forever empowered me (do the same on the washing machine). This time, I was sick as a dog, tired, frustrated -- and my kitchen faucet was blocked with NO water coming out. Ugh. I called at 10 a.m.; they showed up at 1 p.m. and fixed the pressure thingy in two seconds flat.  And, they didn't charge me!  Can you say forever loyal?? What a pleasure to have such great service.

Hallelujah, I've found MY plumber.

Mike did a great job repairing some aged plumbing for us. Responsive, friendly, quality workmanship, good value.

First, let me say I wasn't looking specifically for these guys. I had clicked on another highly reviewed company and I used the yelp get a quote feature. And that yelp quote feature led me to these guys. (PS: the get a quote feature is bomb dignity!!!)

So I had a backed up kitchen sink. I tried all of the normal things to try an unclog it. I even tried to snake it for what felt like two hours. No luck.

I hop on yelp and find one guy with a picture of a low price on his page. I call them and he said because my kitchen isn't on the first floor, it'll be x dollars more.

That number more than I thought was fair, so I continued on. I then say the get a quote feature on another page and decided to try it.

Within minutes, I was contacted by about 10 companies, included by these guys.

Communication was quick while these guys were not the absolute cheapest, I trusted them the most. And they were one of the cheaper options.

I was given a window for when they would arrive. And exactly at the beginning of the window, Khoa arrived. The first thing I noticed was his blanket which he would lay on the ground to help protect the floor. Next he put on booties over his work shoes.

He came upstairs and immediately got to work. His first attempt at snaking the drain, all the way down to 20' didn't work. And his second attempt, down to 25' almost didn't either, until all of a sudden, a whoosh of water and the sink is draining as fast as I've ever seen it drain.

I feel like he spent way more time than he had planned, and he stuck to his word and charged me exactly what he quoted me over the yelp message.

I signed the work order which doubles as my receipt and he told me that there was a 30 day guarantee. WHAT!!! 30 day GUARANTEE!!! I was blown away. How are you going to offer a guarantee on something like a drain that I can screw up and block up again. Regardless, I was already planning on giving him 5 stars, but this just solidified my impression of him.

The next day, Khoa messages me and asked if the sink was still draining. Seriously, this is top notch service.

It's been about a week and the sink is doing great!

I will absolutely call them again if we ever have any plumbing issues.

Second time we've used them and both time were great experiences. They're prompt, affordable and do quality work. Most recent professional was Tai Nguyen who did a quick job on our bathtub. He explained the issue, did the work quickly and cleaned up before leaving. Will definitely use again and recommend to our neighbors.

Bruce and crew came to look at repair a cracked drain line in the bathroom. Bruce said he couldn't repair the crack based on it's location and that damage could be done to the main line as it is 60 years old. He contacted his buddy Rick at Matrix Plumbing to come out and put a camera down the main line to have a look. I looked on as they did this. Interesting thing that I found out a day later was that Rick looked at a plumbing issue at my brother's house. The initial response since his camera was BROKEN was to bust open their walls to find out what was going on. Glad my brother called for a second opinion since his problem was solved by snaking the line.

Back to my problem.. .Bruce and now Matrix Plumbing said they needed to trench inside my house, from one end to the other and replace the main line based on what they saw on the camera that suddenly worked. In an earlier conversation, Bruce said that you'd never want to trench your house and gave me several reasons why. But all of the sudden, trenching needed to be done immediately. Bruce said the line couldn't be sleeved or washed/cleaned out because it was too brittle and could crumble if we went that route.  Bruce and Matrix Plumbing said that this would take approximately two weeks and that my floors would be ripped up and drywall removed. After an insane estimate of approximately $30,000 from Bruce,  we obviously got a second and third opinion. Both of those companies allowed me to watch as they put the camera down the line. First off, what I saw on their cameras (which turned out to be a very good thing) looked nothing like what I saw from Rick's camera.

BOTH COMPANIES SAID I HAD NO ISSUES OR DAMAGE TO MY MAIN LINE! Yes, it is a 60 year old cast iron pipe. Both companies provided us with guidance to be proactive and preventative with the old aged pipe and it was nothing remotely close to $30,000!
