I called this company with a major leak in my kitchen. Kevin showed up promptly. He shut off the water and then began to diagnose the problem. He offered me multiple solutions and offered his expertise for the fix in the kitchen and showed me  preventative fixes that I should do as well.
I found Kevin professional, skilled in his trait, understanding and personable. I would highly recommend him.

I have been having problems with my plumbing for awhile now. I ended up buying a snake and every few months or so I would have to use it to clear the pipes up. Finally, I was fed up and decided to call professionals to see if there was a bigger problem.

I found Northstar Plumbing on Yelp and were impressed by their reviews. I called them and they were at my house within 30 minutes.

They worked on two pipes by using a powerful snake to clear them up. My favorite part was them diagnosing the problem with a camera. It was pretty neat to see what was going on in there. Lo and behold, there were roots growing in my pipe from a huge tree I had out front. It's pretty common and I'll just have to maintain it yearly. They cut through it and told me to poor down root killers to help slow down the growth.

I was surprised at their professionalism and hard work of nearly two hours for only $165. Even at one point, Anthony climbed down a manhole to retrieve something. Now that's dedication!

I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I'll be calling them next time I have another plumbing problem.

Tino is awesome! We recently bought a new house and were recommended to have a plumber come check out the sewer line under our master bath. Fortunately, there were no issues that needed to be addressed. However, a few weeks later our water heater went out! I called Tino at 9AM on a Monday and he was at our house with a new one that afternoon. By 6PM, the install was done and we had hot water. He is a character and I could tell he enjoys his trade. Will definitely bring him back for any plumbing projects in the future.

Takai at Hightop Plumbing did an outstanding job installing a new water heater for us.  I discussed with him the job at 5PM and by 3PM the next day he was onsite working on the installation.  He discussed with me all of the work that would take place to get our 30 year old heater replaced.  His work was high quality and we are very happy with his communication throughout the whole job.  We will be looking forward to hiring Hightop Plumbing for future projects.

I had a great experience with John of Agilis Plumbing. When he came to my house we discussed my needs which included a new water heater that just started to leak, a new garbage disposal, repair of a Toto toilet which resulted in a low-flow plunger, and a last-minute installation of a new faucet to the bar area that happened to start to leak two days before he was scheduled to come. I am thoroughly pleased with everything that he installed.
The cost was reasonable. I will definitely call him again and I highly recommend him.

Had pretty much our whole house re-piped. George did a great job and was very accommodating considering we had some other remodeling going on at the same time. We even had him come back couple weeks later when we decided to move the piping for our bathroom sink over so we can fit a vanity in.  would recommend George at All Pipes Plumbing.

Got a water heater not heating up on a late Friday afternoon. Pilot light was out and could not be re-lot.  Alex came out right away to look at the problem.  But he was not able to fix the problem since he doesn't replace thermal couple. I was surprised.  Instead, he suggested replacing a new water heater.  I have dealt with 20+ water heaters.  It's 2011 but it's not time yet. I ended up hiring someone else to replace this part for $165 vs spending $1500 for a new unit. Nice guy though.

I contacted multiple plumbing companies, and SPS plumbers were the only one who showed expertise for the tankless water heater I had issues with. They came in to flush the water heater, but unfortunately due to the bad scaling that was on it, the water heater had a leak on the heater exchange, which is common if not regularly flushed. In any case, I called SPS plumbers the next day, and they sent Ruben again right away, which investigated and took care of everything to make sure we had a replacement unit! Scheduled a replacement, went smoothly, they were really nice, professional, and took the time to ensure everything was done properly, not rushed (even though we can tell they have busy schedule) ! Contacting them on yelp is also such a breeze because they're very responsive, the people I was in contact with were Shawna (Gaby), and Ruben, I've already started referring them to people I know have issues with plumbing, definitely recommend !! Another nice plus is that you can pay the invoice online, very easily and have clear detailed receipt !

Our kitchen sink has been backed up for months. I began making my way through yelp in search of a specialized plumber and was put in contact with Bunnies plumbing. Adhemar, responded to all of my questions was very patient with me. When he came out to inspect the plumbing issue he was straight forward and explained everything so I could understand. Unfortunately, the plumbing issue wasn't fixed because it requires a second visit. I definitely recommend Bunnies plumbing.

Problems wait for no one. My wife and I had good and bad luck the past few years finding people to fix various things around the house. Great work was followed by desertion.

In this case, we needed to install a new air gap to our dishwasher with a new discharge line from the air gap to garbage disposal which required drilling a new hole near the top of our sink. We first called the plumber most recently used, but they had family issues which prevented a timely response. So we turned to Yelp.

My wife left a message in the afternoon. Shawn called back the next morning, offered an estimate by phone and made arrangements to visit in a few days. We expected him between 10 and 11 AM and he called at 1040 AM to say he'd arrive about 11 AM. He came with the necessary parts and was done by 1215 PM. Since we planned to have a new dishwasher installed within a few weeks, Shawn explained the issues to be aware of and patiently answered a couple of other minor plumbing questions.

Overall, Shawn met the criteria to earn 5 stars, including:
-   Flexibility with the calendar
-   Arrived on time
-   Explained what needed to be done before doing it
-   Completed the work with a minimum of fuss and delay
-   No harm to the house
-   Cleaned up after himself

Based on our first experience with Shawn, we'd heartily recommend him for plumbing problems in and around San Jose. Let's hope he's available next time we need a plumber.

My water heater repair request was sent to 5 service providers randomly by Yelp, and JM plumbing was one of the three responded within an hour. Although their quote was not the cheapest and they had no reviews in Yelp, but I was convinced they were the best technician for the job because how sincere and knowledgeable they showed over the conversation. I did not regret my choice. JM was very responsive to requests and flexible on schedule. They got job done professionally.

Gladiator replaced the sewer line in my 60 year old house in May 2016.  The quote, guarantee, and work were good.  But, there was a problem with my sprinklers having very low pressure after Gladiator replaced the pipe.  Gladiator came out 2x to check the sprinklers and determined it was not due to their work, but instead I had too many sprinklers on a single line.  What I knew is that the sprinklers worked for 11 years before they came out and did not work after....a bit too much of coincidence for me.  Since Gladiator was unwilling to help, I had my gardener come see what he could do; he also felt I had too many sprinklers on one line, so I ok'd $500 for him to split the sprinklers across 2 lines.  After doing the work, the water pressure was still not working well, and we noticed it was bad in the backyard also.  Since my gardener was unable to fix the problem, I arranged for a professional irrigation company to come out and see what the problem was; before the irrigation company came out, my gardener rechecked everything and found the problem...Gladiator had not fully opened the water line after their work; once my gardener opened the line fully, the sprinklers in front and back worked great.  

I think Gladiator did good work replacing the sewer line, but they get 2 stars from me for their inability to diagnose such a simple problem, and causing me extra work and money.

A talented, no-nonsense plumber who wastes no time in getting the plumbing job done.  Mark was the tech lead at San Jose Plumbing for many years and has seen it all. Now in business for himself, I hired him for a job in installing a new kitchen sink faucet--a Delta Essa with Touch2O--that another plumber at Fifteen Dollar Sewer and Drain had balked for unknown reasons (complexity?). I was impressed at the ease and speed that Mark handled my installation. The man obviously knows his stuff and shows a great comfort level in tackling any problem. I heartily recommend him to others and will hire him again.

Jose and team are great to work with when you need sewer pipe replacement. They have the right equipment and a strong crew to make it done with most competitive price. They take care of the inspection process and also they use a modern billing and easy online payment system. Such a blessing for busy owners.

Thank you 5 Star Plumbing for coming to the rescue when my shower got clogged! As a woman with long hair, it's inevitable for the drain to clog from time to time. I was having visitors come over and needed to have this situation fixed ASAP! I called 5 Star Plumbing and they gave me a reasonable quote and were able to come super fast! They did a great job and offered tips on how to prevent future clogs. Thanks for the fast service and well trained staff!

My friend worked with Paul before and recommended him to me. Glad that I contacted Paul to install our chandeliers. Before the appointment, he asked for photos and descriptions of the light fixture to be installed, and gave a reasonable quote. On the day of appointment, he was on time and did a great job. He even organized the boxes of packaging after he finished the installation. We are happy with the new lights and will definitely contact Paul again in the future.
