I asked him over the phone for a range of what it would cost to snake a tub drain which was a very simple job. Just a hairball in the P-trap they said between $160 to about $220 but when they got out there they said it be $240.   Took all of about 10-15 minutes to snake the drain. I understand, travel costs, and everything but still find the cost expensive for the amount of work involved.

I called Northstar Sewer & Drain and Anthony responded quickly to my problem of very slow draining water in my bathroom sink & no drainage in my bathtub. Anthony diagnosed the problem as a mainline blockage and returned from his van with all the correct equipment. Even though the blockage in my mainline was severe, Anthony kept at it until the problem was fixed. Anthony had to climb up on the roof to ensure that ALL the pipes in the house were free and clear. I considered this to be above and beyond what I expected meaning I feel that I did not just get good service, I received excellent service. Calling a plumber can leaves me with a sinking feeling of dread, but what a great experience I had with Northstar Sewer & Drain. I was so impressed that I am going to hire them in the near future to replace my old energy inefficient tank water to a new energy efficient tank-less water heater. Lastly, Anthony followed with a phone call to ensure that his work was successful which I appreciated very much.

Tino is awesome! We recently bought a new house and were recommended to have a plumber come check out the sewer line under our master bath. Fortunately, there were no issues that needed to be addressed. However, a few weeks later our water heater went out! I called Tino at 9AM on a Monday and he was at our house with a new one that afternoon. By 6PM, the install was done and we had hot water. He is a character and I could tell he enjoys his trade. Will definitely bring him back for any plumbing projects in the future.

Takai at Hightop Plumbing did an outstanding job installing a new water heater for us.  I discussed with him the job at 5PM and by 3PM the next day he was onsite working on the installation.  He discussed with me all of the work that would take place to get our 30 year old heater replaced.  His work was high quality and we are very happy with his communication throughout the whole job.  We will be looking forward to hiring Hightop Plumbing for future projects.

Replaced p-trap under kitchen sink. William did not finish the job by sealing the pipe. Just placed one pipe inside another. We didn't notice the gallons of water that leaked under the cabinets and down to subfloor for months. Beware of this company. I had another professional plumber come fix it. He could not believe the incompetence!

Making a decision to repipe my home is tough. I have been dwelling on the idea for over 6 months, and after getting 5 estimates from various contractors, I was flustered and still cannot make up my mind. But after speaking with George from All Pipes Plumbing, I made my decision right on the spot. His experience, knowledge, honesty and sincerity got me totally convinced that he is the right man for the job (not to mention that his bid is also the lowest). He did not promise to finish the job in one day, which I am always skeptic about the quality of the workmanship. George is a perfectionist, and rather do the job right than to rush through it. He also came up with very innovative ways to replace the old pipes without cutting up any of my walls. Not only did George did what he promised, but also went above and beyond his responsibility (including removing 2 dead rats and a dead cat from the crawlspace, and found the source of my rodents infestation). The quality of his work is so good that the final inspection took only 30 minutes (from other reviews, I found that some repipe jobs require multiple visits from the inspector). George knows the codes very well, and did everything that is expected before the inspection. I am so happy with my experience that I already have a few projects lined up for Georg, such as installing a sewer clean-out and replacing the indoor drain lines (another potential problem). Thanks to the raving reviews from Yelp and NextDoor, I am very happy to have found a plumber for all seasons!

I have never felt compelled to write a review about a plumbing company before, but Ivan Patterson impressed me so much I want to recommend Patterson Plumbing to everyone who needs a plumber.

We had a mystery plumbing problem in one of our bathrooms that no one had been able to fix (we had a different plumber out previously) but I called and Ivan was able to come over within 30 minutes and he sleuthed it out and solved the problem for us once and for all. He is exceptionally competent, friendly, and professional and I told him before he left that he is now our plumber for life! I feel lucky to have found him, as he obviously delivers above and beyond expectations to all of his clients. I highly recommend Patterson Plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

Came on short notice and early. We had a leak on an old heater we don't plan to keep. He proposed a fix that was even cheaper than his original quote. Would definitely call again if we run into water heater issue again.

We had been without hot water for a week!  Plumbers tried to fix the hot water heater, and then SPS came and they lit the pilot light.  AND the we had hot water.

Honest and dependable. Did what he said he was going to do and when he would do it. Glad to have found him.

Our kitchen sink has been backed up for months. I began making my way through yelp in search of a specialized plumber and was put in contact with Bunnies plumbing. Adhemar, responded to all of my questions was very patient with me. When he came out to inspect the plumbing issue he was straight forward and explained everything so I could understand. Unfortunately, the plumbing issue wasn't fixed because it requires a second visit. I definitely recommend Bunnies plumbing.

Shawn is knowledgeable, friendly, fair, and great to work with.

I've had Shawn at my house on 2 occasions in the past year.  First involved 3 things:  replaced washers on shower faucets, cleared a pipe, and advised on a slightly leaky commode.  He let me watch and essentially gave me a lesson on minor plumbing repair as well as excellent advice on maintenance tasks (and likely outcome scenarios).  The price I paid was what he quoted.  I was able to use what I learned to make a minor repair, later.

The second time he came over was when I had a sewage backup with visitors at the house.  I was lucky and amazed that he was able to show up within about an hour of my calling him and he cleared the pipe pretty quickly.  He gave me a lower price than what he had quoted over the phone because he was able to fix it more easily than expected.  As with his first visit, he gave excellent advice; this time about how the trees in my front yard were impacting my plumbing and how to deal with it.

I would call Shawn again with no hesitation.

We called Charles to come out and look at our toilets at our commercial building.  Our landlord, and San Jose Water Co. had told us that the water bill was very high.  The meter was turning way faster than it should be, and it might have to do with a bad flapper valve or leaky toilet.  So Charles isolated which toilet it was by running se simple tests, and come to find out that a few toilets needed new flappers and fill valves.
Charles and his helper new exactly what to do and how to do it.  They had got the necessary parts and had done the repair a fair amount of time.

My water heater repair request was sent to 5 service providers randomly by Yelp, and JM plumbing was one of the three responded within an hour. Although their quote was not the cheapest and they had no reviews in Yelp, but I was convinced they were the best technician for the job because how sincere and knowledgeable they showed over the conversation. I did not regret my choice. JM was very responsive to requests and flexible on schedule. They got job done professionally.

I recently had a leaky water heater so it was time to call a plumber.

we called another plumbing company, they sent out a tech who wrote up an estimate for 1500 and he said that was just a ball park.
I wasn't to sure about lose numbers,because i do estimating for a living so i know that customers need a solid numbers!

I decided to call Gladiator and spoke to a nice lady named Cynthia.
i explained my issues and concerns and she said she would send me an estimate. without sending a tech. (?) the quote came in lower than the other company.

The next day i called them back and had the chance to speak with Brian and he answered all my questions. without hesitation we signed and got scheduled!

I had a broken water main near the street and called Mark Taylor frantically for immediate service.  He was so responsive and came out as soon as he could!
He was referred to me by my friend, so I was a new customer to him.  He dug out landscape, moved a huge rock and repaired a line and put in new fittings, plus took on an additional job of snaking out a line to the city sewer. I'm going to use him for all my future plumbing needs.  He was responsibly priced, informative, and considerate.

Free estimate included pipe camera in 2 directions to inspect entire sewer system, one from roof vent; finding buried clean-out location; entering 12 clearance crawl space to scope out best repair method.  Jose took almost a full 2 hours for the estimate, I couldn't not pay him for that much effort and honesty in scoping the job.  Got us scheduled for 4 days out, which ended up being fine.

Crew of two was great... boot covers, tyvek overalls for entering crawlspace with muddy leak area.  Did a full-20 foot connection replacement under the house, including digging down to the existing pipes.  Tracked zero dirt through the house, even having to move old cast iron pipe pieces up and down hallway.  Very efficient, only 2 hours total sewer off-line time.  We were thrilled with everything about their service.  Great close-in, clean-up, haul-away.
