Best Plumbing Services in California

I had my bathroom remodeled a year ago. After the remodel, the shower water would not cool. The guy who did the remodel couldn't figure out what the problem was and offered a small refund to compensate. I figured it would be something extensive and expensive, so I put off the repair. Well, during our recent heat wave, I couldn't wait any longer. After checking Yelp reviews, I called Bob.
He returned my call the next morning and said he would come out to look at the job for no charge, that afternoon. I agreed. After removing the plate behind the shower handle, Bob determined that the cylinder connecting the hot and cold pipes that controlled the hot/cold water was fried during the remodel and needed to be replaced.
He had the cylinder in his truck and replaced the damaged one. After running the COLD shower water for a couple of minutes, presto, it worked!
My fear of walls needing to be ripped out and incurring hundreds of dollars of repairs quickly faded. Bob cleaned up the small mess he made and even sealed the face plate back up with a silicone sealant.
After about an hour of work and sweat, Bob charged me a little over $100 for a job I expected to be substantially more......wish I'd called him a year ago!
He's now on my speed dial and I highly recommend him.

We hired Andy to remove our old, outdated tub and showers from our condo and had him install a new tub and shower pan. Andy was beyond professional and didn't hide anything from us.  His quote for the work was very reasonable. He not only brought the plumbing up to code, he also explained to what was going on and if any adjustments had to be made.   Just a really honest, professional job all around and  someone I am happy to refer to others with plumbing needs.

I called to schedule a garbage disposal and new kitchen faucet installation and Anthony at Chihuahua was able to come out the very next day.  He arrived ahead of schedule which was awesome, completed both jobs, and even checked the internal parts of my toilet to make sure everything was operating correctly.  All this perfectly done in under an hour.  He was extremely professional, friendly, neat, organized, and very knowledgeable.... even my little, sometimes very hyper dog liked him and let him do his job with being annoying.
I highly recommend Anthony and Chihuahua Plumbing.  The staff in the office is always very friendly and will take good care of you too.

George and Alex were amazing! We've been trying to reach our home warranty company for three days to fix a bad garbage disposal and possibly dishwasher issue. After three days of a backed up sink totally full that wouldn't drain and no call back we finally searched a local company and I'm so happy I found these guys! They were super friendly and we ended up talking about our kids and relaying stories. What better customer service then that! I'm a hands on guy that exercised the best of my ability and they were able to quickly determine we had a bad garbage disposal and showed me the lines were clear down line through an access point I didn't know existed. They'll be my go to moving forward and they showed up within hours. Not only that, shout out to the receptionist, Sabrina for actually knowing what we were talking about when we called. She was intelligent, understood our needs and was compassionate and got a service technician out immediately. Five stars guys, appreciate the work you do.

Ziggy has been the neighborhood plumber for over 30 years. He has reasonable rates and great service. He's done our plumbing for 15 years and he's never once had to come back to fix a problem; he gets things right the first time.

Ziggy runs his business from his home, but if you search for the business you might see an address on Deerpark. Apparently that's an error from Google maps photographing his truck on another street. 2752 Burgener is the actual address.

I tried to replace the wax seal on my toilet myself and had problems with the bolts breaking loose from the flange.  Very frustrated, I found Steve on YELP, and called him.  He told me he could be over in two hours.  He actually texted me and showed up in one hour after the initial call.  He is knowledgeable and his price was very fair.  He works on customers houses like it was his own.  Thank you very much Steve!

Called several plumbing companies to replace a water heater and this one had the best price. Very responsive, showed up on time and did the job exactly as they said they would. No surprises. Would definitely use again and recommend!

I recommend Bob anytime someone asks about a plumber, he's friendly, he's fast, and he's fair.

Long story short, I had a sewage back up in my shower, I called Personal Plumbing because I had used them before and trusted that I would get good service at a fair price.  After charging me $500 to clear the drain, they told me I had a tree root problem.  They gave me an estimate (I was naive in thinking that this small locally owned company was offering me, a repeat customer, a fair price)   The estimate was for $1650, I called Bob and talked to him personally about reducing the price considering I was a repeat customer, his exact words were, if I give you a discount on the service, then I would loose money if I have to do any warrenty work.   He couldnt tell me how long of a warrenty they could offer me on my pipes after they clear the line until they are able to look at the pipes after the roots are cleared.  I agreed to the work and they came out to start, 1/2 way through, I approach the plumber and asked him what kind of warrently am I looking at based on my pipes, he said, we NEVER issue a warrently of tree root work, company policy  So I tell him about my conversation with bob, he calls bob.  Bob offers me two options: clean up and leave and I don't pay anthing or continue with the work, pay full price and he would give me a 1 week warrenty.  His plumber strongly advised that I continue with the work considering another back up could happen anytime and if it were his house, he would continue.   So I did.  Their equipement (the knocker) could only reach 60 feet from my clean out, the camera went further and ran into a root intrusion at 71 feet.  Their equipment couldn't reach it.  They suggested that I install a double sweep clean out at the cost of $3500 in order to clean the roots.  After paying Personal Plumbing $2210, I was still left with roots in my pipes that they couldn't reach.  Based on their assessment, the tree that was causing the intrusion at 71 ft was owned by the city, I called the city and told them the whole stroy.  They suggested that, instead of installing a cleanout, hire a plumber that had a longer knocker.  I was again, naive and didn't know that that existed.  So i called Bill Howe.  Bill Howe came out, ran their knocker 111 feet at the total cost of $223.  ($154 for the first 100 feet and $69 for each 25 feet after).   I paid personal plumbing 7.6  ($2210) times what I paid Bill Howe to do, and they did an additional 51 feet.  (leaving NO tree roots in my pipes)  Bill Howes plumber also ran his camera the full 111 feet to make sure that the pipe was cleared and didn't charge me a dime for that.  Just wanted to show me that they did what they were hired for.    I emailed Bob and explained everything, suddenly, the very responsive bob is now silent.  No response to my email.  I'm asking him to explain why the inflated charges or what special service did his company give me that justifies such an increase in cost for the same services from another company, especially considering Personal Plumbing left me with tree roots still invading my pipes because they lacked long enough equipment to reach it.   I'm asking for a reimbursement for some of the money I paid his company based on the very contradictory warrenty' information, the inability to complete the job and the inflated costs.   Not such a short story!   Good luck with any plumbng issue you're having (if your reading this you must be looking for a plumber, do your due diligence by getting a couple estimates.  tw  (Bill Howe's estimate for a double sweep clean out was also $1000 less than PP)

this review is way overdue!! matter of fact, ivan came by before covid19 hit. i had my tub redone and wanted to have new fixtures. he was so kind enough to come by for a 'free' estimate. what a gentleman!! i asked if he could extend the shower head so that the flow would hit in the middle of the tub, not close to the wall. ivan provided a new shower are that was the cutest thing ever!! it had moveable pieces and fit right into my decor!!!! when ivan was fixing the faucet, he noticed some outdated plumbing. without further adieu, ivan took his time to go to home depot and pick up the needed pieces!!! what a guy!!! everything went perfectly!! wouldn't hesitate for a moment to hire ivan again and again and again!!!

Although more expensive than the average, the service was excellent. Easy, clear, and timely communication. Showed up on time, did a very good job, very professional, neat, and clean. Everything was thorough, efficient, and professional.

Doug came over yesterday and helped me troubleshoot shoot a plumbing problem I was having.  The water to the fridge/ice machine wasn't working. He crawled in my crawl space, searched around the attic, and did his best to help solve the problem.  In the end we had to run a new line.  However, instead of going from the sink which the average plumber would do, he came up with a creative idea where the water line would be hidden by taking the water from the outside and bringing it through the attic and down in the kitchen behind the refrigerator.  I'm super thankful for his quality work and would hire him again.  Also, I liked how it was him and his son that do all the work.  Great plumbers are hard to find, you don't want to regret hiring the wrong one as one leak can cost you.

I've had a slow drain for better part of a month in my 50+ year old home; it finally stopped dead last night around 8:30pm. I have long hair and I've clogged many drains in my day. Beyond that, I work at a grooming salon (dogs/cats) and clearing basic clogs is simply part of the job. I have children who are oh-so-fond of shoving anything small enough down there, as well. So, suffice to say, when my sinks or tubs back up I don't just wring my hands and prance from foot to foot wondering what to do. I roll up my sleeves and dive in, whole-hog, to clear it. I plunged and snaked the drain (with a snake attachment on a power drill) myself and found that I'd invented a new game: urban geocaching for the modern mom. I found a hair clip, a squinkie, a plastic puzzle piece, a pair of barbie shoes, a poker chip, a shard of glass, and a polly pocket rubber jacket. Yet still; my drain was clogged. After three hours of plunging, blisters on both palms and a bruise the size of Nebraska on my shin from whacking it on the spigot, I called uncle, went to bed, and stewed for the next 9 hours.

On the advice of my mother I called Baird's Drain Service. Begrudgingly, to be honest, because I'm adamant that I can do anything on my own. I called at around 9:30am and the receptionist/dispatcher/whatever was brusque but not at all rude - just efficient and to-the-point. She quoted me a time between 11:30 and 1:30 and said she'd call me when he was in my area, about 30 minutes prior to the plumber's arrival. True to word, she called me around 12:45 and Travis was here by 1:05. He was friendly, chatty, not at all skeevy, and had an excellent sense of humor. He gave me tips on how to help my older drain run more efficiently, cleared my clog, and left by 1:30. A check for $20 and no humiliating comments about the toy paraphernalia in the drain; I'm a happy girl - my kids can take a bath again.

Front desk was so rude to my aunt.  Looking at the reviews, not much has changes since 2011.  Management should try to hire and train more customer oriented employees.  I probably won't be back and if I'm with people might even steer them away.  There are plenty of great gift shops in Coronado to chose from.
