Thomas was prompt and very thorough about checking out our situation. Calmed my worries about the water heater and then offered suggestions about keeping our home free of possible future problems.  We're calling him when we're ready to take his suggestions.

Ziggy has been the neighborhood plumber for over 30 years. He has reasonable rates and great service. He's done our plumbing for 15 years and he's never once had to come back to fix a problem; he gets things right the first time.

Ziggy runs his business from his home, but if you search for the business you might see an address on Deerpark. Apparently that's an error from Google maps photographing his truck on another street. 2752 Burgener is the actual address.

By only a phone call, I determined this guy had an anger issue. He was bullying, intimidating, claiming he just wanted to get IN and OUT without wasting time. His arrogance also demanded $150 up front to even come out to quote the job.
NOT the guy for me.

I didn't hire him, but with the little knowledge I have with toilets, I called him at a late hour and he picked up and helped me without having to actually drive to my place to do it himself and it worked! So thankful Bob! You're the best and nicest plumber I know!

We had an emergency issue with our dryer so I called Personal Plumbing. My call was returned promptly and Tim from Personal Plumbing was able to come out the following day! I was happily surprised since it was 2 days before Christmas! Tim arrived early (:)!) in the 2 hour time window and was able to fix the dryer. He also took care of a few other minor plumbing issues and was very helpful. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Personal Plumbing!

Kerry is reliable, moderately priced and does excellent work in the Clairemont area. He is straight forward, and does not try to sell you a service or something you do not need. He will even fix items or situations made worse by an DIY enthusiast without judgment. Installs parts you purchase if you prefer, or will provide. We recommend him highly.

Doug was able to schedule us quickly to replace a rusted ice maker spigot.  He was here on time, quickly made the repair and charged a fair price for the work.  Highly recommend!

This is THE George Baird drain service you are looking for, not to be confused with other local drain businesses who also call themselves Baird.  (Chances are, if you're reading a bad review on this site for George, that person leaving the review may have mistakenly wrote it for the wrong business.  From what I learned, George Baird is a one-man operation.)

George walked in, tall, chirpy, and friendly as can be.   We offered him something to drink and he politely said he was good.  

We called him in because when our toilet flushed, the water would rise through the shower drain.  We thought that the toilet would possibly need to be snaked.  He continued sharing stories and tips as he turned to the double sinks and turned the hot water on.  Next, he goes to the shower and turns the hot water on too.  We watch the shower water rise on the shower floor while the sinks were draining  properly.   We will leave them on for a few minutes, he advised.  And then he continued with sharing a story and tips.  

As we listened for a few minutes, the water in the shower started to swirl and drain properly.  It looks like it cleared itself, he chuckled.  My work is done, he announced.

He finished his story and shared a couple more tips and didn't charge us a dime, even after I insisted to pay for his gas and time.

I could not recommend Bay and Shore more highly.  I don't understand the negative review on this site.  I have had to call Augie a couple of times and he has responded immediately to address my plumbing problems.

I have found his customer service excellent and his prices reasonable.  However it is his prompt service that I appreciate the most.  Because he is on the island he is able to get to my house right away.  Today my Water Heater broke and needed to be replaced.  He was at my house in 15 minutes and had a replacement heater in his inventory on the island.  2 hours later the job was complete.
