Bob came over to give me a free estimate for a tankless water heater. He was a referral from a friend of mine who was super happy with his work. Bob was on time, stellar communication, friendly, great personality, honest, and not pushy at all. Best of all, he gave me a great deal. I had quotes from other plumbers for more than two times the amount! I also asked him to take a peak at my garbage disposal. While inside, my 15 year old chihuahua came out to investigate. He has a very good radar and can tell if someone is a good person or not. Nacho sniffed his leg and even let Bob pet him! What?!?!?! Nacho usually barks at strangers, but not a peep outta him! Bob, you're hired!! I look forward to working with you:)

I contacted Andy's Plumbing to clean out storm drains and sewer lines at a rental house I'd just moved back into.  Andy is a consummate professional in that he confirmed the appointment and showed up when he said he would.  He completed the job efficiently and charged a reasonable amount for his work.  If you want a great job done by a great honest guy, I would highly recommend Andy and would definitely call him again to fix any plumbing issue.

I bought a new-to-me condo with an old water heater, and part of the deal was a credit to replace it and modify the original, obviously-cost-cutting installation to bring it up to code.  There were about four other trivial things I wanted done on the same trip as well.

Chihuahua was on the advice of a realtor, and while not the cheapest, they're a family-staffed, small business, and I discussed some water heater options (replace tank or do more expensive tankless water heater).  

Anthony was knowledgeable about the code requirements and what would and wouldn't work, and was honest that they'd never installed the newest version of the tankless water heater that would work without additional venting requirements.  I chose the old-fashioned tank.

After the water heater was installed, I inspected it and asked Where's the (quoted) drip pan? and saw the realization of the error on his face, but he politely and apologetically asked if we could schedule a follow-up visit at no charge.  We did; it was done perfectly.

And on the subsequent visit, there was some more work to be done that I requested, but the final bill was cheap enough that I don't think he charged me for the visit at all.

Anthony was also honest about the threads on a shower valve being (previously) stripped and suggested it might not be worth the time/effort to fix the issue (rather than working for extra hours just to add revenue, as some would).  

I don't know who the previous Yelper talked to that impatiently sent them away, but I'm happy to say that this wasn't my experience at all!

We had a break in the main line and Canyon Hills Plumbing was at our house within a half hour. They fixed the problem quickly and correctly. Thanks Canyon Hills Plumbing!!

I had Thomas (the owner of Fitzgerald Plumbing) replace an old water heater at our house. There were some complications but none of them were problems for Thomas. He explained my options, gave me the cost and benefits of each option, And then did the install all in one afternoon. I really appreciated his honesty, expertise and professionalism. I will be calling Fitzgerald's for all of my plumbing needs!

Ziggy has been the neighborhood plumber for over 30 years. He has reasonable rates and great service. He's done our plumbing for 15 years and he's never once had to come back to fix a problem; he gets things right the first time.

Ziggy runs his business from his home, but if you search for the business you might see an address on Deerpark. Apparently that's an error from Google maps photographing his truck on another street. 2752 Burgener is the actual address.

Called to see about help with a small issue. Was told there's no coming to take a look! Ok so I hung up and called someone who was helpful and not rude!

Would definitely recommend 10/10! I've experienced a lot of plumbing issues with terrible customer service in the past so it was very relieving
for Chris to be Super responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly! He helped with a copper pipe leak in my backyard and he assessed/fixed it in literally minutes. It was awesome. Thank you

Generations Plumbing is amazing! I highly recommend  Alex. He's honest, extremely knowledgeable and reasonsibly priced. Alex and his son Junior re-routed our main line cold water leak, they took it a step further by cleaning up a previous plumber's mishap. Thanks Generations Plumbing, Father and son duo went above and beyond.

Side note: Thanks Junior for catching and freeing the unexpected lizard in our house, you didn't have to, you did it just because. It says a lot and that there are still really nice people there to help when needed. Alex, great job on the plumbing and son.

Bob is an awesome plumber with a lot of knowledge. His price points are fair and his work is well done. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber in San Diego.

The service technician was advised that I felt the fees had not been clearly explained and I asked him to please let office know.  I signed and paid because I did not want to hold him up for what I felt should be discussed with office.  After not hearing from the office I left my comments and was then contacted.  My understanding was there was a $95 minimum to be applied if work was done.  Work done was about 15 minutes so I feel I was mislead and severely overcharged for services.

We love Kerry and he is always friendly and available to help us with out 60 year old pipes.

I contacted several companies and I must say Ivan was great to work with.  He had a very competitive quote, very punctual, and great work.  We were able to change out our water heater before it really was an issue.  Thanks to Ivan!!

Although more expensive than the average, the service was excellent. Easy, clear, and timely communication. Showed up on time, did a very good job, very professional, neat, and clean. Everything was thorough, efficient, and professional.

Doug came over yesterday and helped me troubleshoot shoot a plumbing problem I was having.  The water to the fridge/ice machine wasn't working. He crawled in my crawl space, searched around the attic, and did his best to help solve the problem.  In the end we had to run a new line.  However, instead of going from the sink which the average plumber would do, he came up with a creative idea where the water line would be hidden by taking the water from the outside and bringing it through the attic and down in the kitchen behind the refrigerator.  I'm super thankful for his quality work and would hire him again.  Also, I liked how it was him and his son that do all the work.  Great plumbers are hard to find, you don't want to regret hiring the wrong one as one leak can cost you.

Okay - so my tub has been off and on clogged for months. Some days it will be clogged, but with the miracle of a plunger, it'll go down eventually. Other days, not so much. So when I realized I would finally have to get it looked at by a professional, I put out a recommendation request on Facebook. Baird's Drain Cleaning seemed to be the consensus of my Facebook friends. I called on Friday morning, asking if they had any available times on Saturday. The receptionist said that she would call me between 9-10 a.m. on Saturday to give me an idea of what time they'd be there. To my surprise, she called me before 9 to say they were on their way to North Park from Serra Mesa. ZOINKS! So the guy comes in and notices that my bathroom sink is going slow, so he tells me that I can get that routed for just a little bit more money - suuuure! Might as well have all of my drains cleared. So he was done with my apartment in about 10 minutes. The only problem was they only take cash & checks, so I had to go to the ATM to get some cash, but I was honestly so happy to have my drains cleared, it wasn't that big of a deal. I have their number on speed dial for any future issues. $45 for a tub and a sink to be cleared is a bargain to me! Yay!

Bay and Shore is a wonderful plumbing company. Yvonne is always helpful and will honestly tell you if they can't make it out the same day. Oggi does great work and leaves the place just like he found it not a spec of dirt more. They will always be the first company to call on my list!
