I was in urgent need to replace gas water heater.
Ricardo arrived on time to replace the heater. He found the correct parts to replace my 22 year old water heater with the new model which is very different.He is very polite and professional in communication. He did the great job. I would highly recommend Mr Repair for plumbing and other handyman services.

We originally called them as our water had a smell to it.  They came out, inspected our pipes, and ultimately we needed to have the house fully re-pipped (the house had original pipes from 1968 still).  A big undertaking and one I know nothing about, but David walked me through everything, including showing me the inside of our current pipes (EWW!).  His team were professional, always wore masks and kept the inside of our house clean, worked quick and neatly, and did an excellent job.  We are thrilled with the work they did and can actually notice a difference with our water once they were done.  

David, and his team were excellent and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing job, big or small.

I own a condo and my tenants reported a leak in the shower... they live upstairs, and the unit downstairs was starting to see evidence of water instrusion. Mike made me feel so much better after explaining what the problem was and the true extent of the damage - which wasn't nearly as frightening as I had imagined! He came back two days in a row to ensure the problem got fixed and was extremely nice. I was completely confident in his skills. He made me feel completely at ease.

Shane was very responsive to Yelp messages and did a fantastic job at a great rate. When he gets held up (happened when he had a client emergency with no water) he made sure to contact me and reschedule.

I had someone who had already agreed to come out but I got a reply to my request from this business saying estimate: $80 and availability: [today's date 12-2pm].  So I canceled the person I had coming out and booked this one through Yelp, receiving a confirmed appointment.  Then I got this message: You need to call me for pricing and availability. Yelp makes me put a price down before I can reply. I just put 80 dollars.

I called and he said he put down a random price and a random availability and said he didn't even know where I lived and whether he could help (despite that I'd put down my address on my service request.)  I replied that those aren't supposed to be random and took them at face value, then gave the phone to my husband so he could explain the plumbing situation.    The plumber said Hey bro, I don't work for $80, at which point my husband said that we'd decline his service.

He told my husband Go fuck yourself, bitch. Lol we couldn't believe it.  After we got off the phone we just laughed.  Still don't have a plumbing appointment, though.

Edit:  The plumber claims I tried to blackmail him.  This is not the case.  I believe my exact words were I would hope you'd honor the price you quoted me because I already cancelled another appointment based on your estimate.  Never mentioned reviews on the phone whatsoever.  This is an honest review of what happened with direct quotes where possible.  Trying to say you said Have a good day when I clearly heard you curse at my husband through the phone is something else.  I almost never post reviews but only did so in this case due to the exceptional experience.

I'll provide a screenshot of the conversation so you all can see that, yes he says to call him for pricing and availability, but also clearly provides a price estimate and availability which allowed me to book and confirm, so I'm not sure why I wouldn't take that at face value.  He later said on the phone those were random numbers.  The reader can decide whether that's an honest way to do business.

The office kitchen sink hadn't been used in quite some time and was slow draining. Leo quickly responded to the request, arrived in a timely manner, and resolved the issue. They're very professional and prices seemed reasonable. I'd highly recommend them!

The main water valve of my rental property started spraying water due to a cracked nut.  The plumber I usually use was on a job in another city. I checked YELP and saw so many good reviews for John Hong that convinced me to call him. He came over 40 minutes later after finishing the job he was working on at the time. He decided to fix the valve by trying to replace the internal mechanism rather than replacing the valve. Replacing the whole valve was a big job due to limited space around it to work with. I was impressed by the effort he put forth to try to replace the internal parts. After these efforts failed and replacement of the entire valve became the only option, he did a high quality job fast. The entire job took less than 1/2 day and at a very reasonable price of $350.

This is a fantastic company. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

So I don't write my yelp reviews to ever get compensated or to have anything reversed. I write them so that others know my honest experience with whatever establishment I deal with. After I wrote my initial review, Fantastic Rooter Plumbing contacted my husband and apologized for the experience we had. They did not cash my $40 check and they issued us a check for $125 for the amount we were out to a different plumber. I always appreciate companies who go out of their way to make sure their customers are getting the best service and I will definitely come back and use them again. They are really great and really strive hard for good customer service!

Evan came and was able to easily find and fix the problem other two companies were not able or didn't want to.
Instead of pushing me to replace whole unit, like others did, he just tuned up settings and it works nice now.

John was on time, professional and did good work for us.  We had an urgent water leak issue at the water meter.  We called a few plumbers and handy men, they were either too busy or wanted to charge us an arm and leg for some basic plumbing work.   We finally found John via Yelp, he returned our call right away.  

He arrived promptly with appropriate tools, and was able to assess the issue quickly.   He did a good job fixing the pipe, removed some roots, and gave the pipe a good angel to help alleviate some future pressure that may come from a nearby tree.  Since he was already there, we asked if he could help take a look at our broken sprinkler system.  He fixed those for us too.  I would definitely recommend him not only because he is a honest guy with a great attitude, but also he does excellent plumbing work.  And the price is very reasonable.  I would call him again.

Service Technician Jose Romero arrived within an hour of placing a request with Rooter Hero, early on a Saturday morning. I experience intermittent issues with my shower/tub drain and on this particular morning, the water was draining very slowly. I had tried to clear the drain myself several months prior and had lodged a snake brush in the pipe (so much for trying to be DIY), and a different company's plumber came and assured me he had removed it.
Jose used his powered drain auger to snake the line and to my amazement, pulled up part of the brush that had supposedly been removed by the previous plumber. He cleared the clog and was finished in less than 20 minutes. He was very friendly, protected the area in which he worked and even cleaned off the surface around the drain. I appreciated his professional demeanor and would highly recommend him!
Oh and he was also able to hook it up with the $77 drain clearing charge! Can't beat that!

I was away from home when I recieved a call from my wife telling me that water was leaking from our air vents. She immediately got online and found Mike Counsil Plumbing and it was a blessing she found them. She called and spoke with Regina and Connie who were absolutely AMAZING!!! Their Customer Service and all around warm personalities were just what my wife needed to keep her calm since I was not at home at the time. They sent over a Plumber by the name of Francisco and our experience with Mike Counsil Plumbing only got better. He was the ultimate professional and an expert who knew exactly what he was doing when it came to his job. The way he took his time and explained things in a way for my wife to understand was truly AMAZING. Mike Counsil is hands down the best Plumbing service in the Bay Area and I cant thank them enough for what the did for us.

Some background.. I had a clog in my main sewage line today...  and called a DIFFERENT plumber first, who charged me $165 and did not solve my problem (his snake tool did not reach to the problem area). Needless to say, I  was very disappointed...

HOWEVER, then I called these guys, and they sent Rob H. who showed up faster than expected (their dispatch service seems to run very efficiently...) with a powerful state-of-the-art  snake tool of 150+ feet  and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. Rob H. was extremely courteous, professional and helpful explaining things and providing advice. He basically saved the day for me and my family. I strongly recommend Rob H. and this company  for any sewer and drain issue. Rob H. was even kind enough to give us a price break after hearing how the other plumber basically ripped us off... He definitely showed the ethics and integrity that the first plumber lacked. BTW, they also give you a 30-day guarantee on the job performed...

What else could you ask for?!?! Could not be more grateful to Rob H. and his company... 100% honest, dependable, professional... I wish I had called them first!!!
