I needed to re cement the foundation around a mailbox post and Mr. Repair Handyman Service was the perfect person for the job. Response time was immediate and the damage was assessed fairly and quickly. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for home improvements or custom installation/remodeling.

R.P.S. was very quick to respond and send out a crew to fix a non-emergency. They were quick and thorough in their work. Professional and respectful.  The work completed was well done!

Our sewer line was blocked, but who to call?  

Looked for plumbers on a few sites, went to the Yellow Pages, and called Counsil Plumbing. Explained the problem to Valerie who was very receptive to our plight, and we made an appointment for that afternoon. Mike arrived as promised, saw the clean-outs, and told us that it was our street clean-out where the problem was. So I called the SJ Emergency Public Works number and told them about my sewer backup. They came out that afternoon and fixed the problem.

Thank you, Mike (and Valerie)!! Always refreshing to find a professional who will take the time to tell it straight, and that gets a recommended review from me! Here's my 4 star vote for Counsil Plumbing and who will be my first call next time, for any of his services. Your card is now in our phone book, so we don't have to search for a source next time.  Read the other reviews like we did!

Natanael and Armando were kind, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I had a water line installed from my sink to the fridge and they were able to complete it quickly

I hired Aaron to do a vaccum breaker install for my irrigation system. The quote was reasonable, and the quality of workmanship was excellent.Will certainly use him in the future.

I called Elite Rooter about replacing a refrigerator water line. I was told they could be out to my house between 12-2pm the next day. I said great. At 1:50 I called back wanting an update. She said oh they aren't supposed to come til 1-3pm now, hours go by and no one. Finally called back to say they were delayed, won't be til 3-5pm. Ok.
The guys get to my house at 4;55pn. I told them about the project and they said they needed to call their supervisor for a quote. 5 minutes later they give me a quote of $1850!!!! What? Are you serious? This is ridiculous! Supervisor tells me that is the price, if I don't like it call someone else.
I used to use them for plumbing problems for my real estate listings. NEVER AGAIN.
My handyman did the job in 20 minutes for $100 including the copper hose.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Crooks!!!! !

Had our old cast iron sewer pipes replaced after 60+ years.  Great service,  on time, friendly. Reasonable price, beat the competition. Cleaned up each night and had us reconnected with little down time.  Explained fully what the issues were and how to resolve. Russell, Dom and rest of team were fantastic. Would definitely use them again.

Everything was great! Our water heater started leaking on a Tuesday night - Eric came out Wednesday morning for a free estimate and completed the install later that day.

I highly recommend JTR Plumbing and we have already scheduled them to come back and re pipe our home!

Well just about a year latter,(from hour last call to Shane),  I needed 2 ea. bathroom faucets replaced and a little T.L.C in the kitchen. Shane is the only one to call for any problems you may be having with your plumbing! Kind hearted, skilled, knowledgeable and reliable Shane is the man for the job. My wife and I really appreciate his service.  Top notch all the way. My wife and I couldn't be more happy!

I had someone who had already agreed to come out but I got a reply to my request from this business saying estimate: $80 and availability: [today's date 12-2pm].  So I canceled the person I had coming out and booked this one through Yelp, receiving a confirmed appointment.  Then I got this message: You need to call me for pricing and availability. Yelp makes me put a price down before I can reply. I just put 80 dollars.

I called and he said he put down a random price and a random availability and said he didn't even know where I lived and whether he could help (despite that I'd put down my address on my service request.)  I replied that those aren't supposed to be random and took them at face value, then gave the phone to my husband so he could explain the plumbing situation.    The plumber said Hey bro, I don't work for $80, at which point my husband said that we'd decline his service.

He told my husband Go fuck yourself, bitch. Lol we couldn't believe it.  After we got off the phone we just laughed.  Still don't have a plumbing appointment, though.

Edit:  The plumber claims I tried to blackmail him.  This is not the case.  I believe my exact words were I would hope you'd honor the price you quoted me because I already cancelled another appointment based on your estimate.  Never mentioned reviews on the phone whatsoever.  This is an honest review of what happened with direct quotes where possible.  Trying to say you said Have a good day when I clearly heard you curse at my husband through the phone is something else.  I almost never post reviews but only did so in this case due to the exceptional experience.

I'll provide a screenshot of the conversation so you all can see that, yes he says to call him for pricing and availability, but also clearly provides a price estimate and availability which allowed me to book and confirm, so I'm not sure why I wouldn't take that at face value.  He later said on the phone those were random numbers.  The reader can decide whether that's an honest way to do business.

We scheduled a re-pipe of the entire house and replace it with copper pipes. We called Leo for an estimate and he was very informative of the entire process on exactly what he would be doing. The day of the job Leo and his team arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled time and finished the entire project in one day. The team took necessary precautions to ensure everything was protected and patched back the two small cuts to the drywall that were made. We would hire Leo for any future plumbing work.

I found it's hard to get the phone call answered, but I just left a message and John called me back soon. His service was prompt and professional. The prices was really reasonable compared the quote from another service provider in the same neighborhood.

We had Brian come to our home to fix a broken pipe under the sink.  After SJ water company had done work in the area we were left with a flood of water under the sink.  At 430pm I called the office was greeted by very friendly staff and had a tech in route to our home with in the hour.  Brian was great, very helpful explained everything that happened ways for us to protect our home in the future.  

He replaced all the parts, made sure to check all other sinks in case any other issues came up.  He left and we trusted a job was completed and no more stress.  

The company had our issue resolved with in 2 hours.  The cost was so responsible.  Highly recommend them!!!!!!

Evan came and was able to easily find and fix the problem other two companies were not able or didn't want to.
Instead of pushing me to replace whole unit, like others did, he just tuned up settings and it works nice now.

My disposer leaked on Friday night, since it was after business hour, I searched Yelp and sent a quote request to Plumbing Connection. Khan response very quickly and set up appointment immediately for Sunday morning. Khan had a reasonable price and reliable. Definitely recommend him to everybody.

John did a fantastic job installing 4 waterfall faucets in my bathrooms.  He also did a great job installing a trim kit for my shower stall.  He does meticulous work, pays attention to detail and was on time for our appointment.  His prices are more than reasonable.   I will definitely be calling John again for any of my plumbing needs.

I had my business with the company back in 2016, was originally pleased with the services until last week when the drain broken and water over flow everywhere in my backyard. I looked back the receipt and called them up as I thought I was supposed to cover for 10 years part and 5 years labor warranty. The person came to my house, take a look at it and said the pipe for hot water was installed wrong and not under their warranty. They looked at the receipt and said back then,  the pipe was there already and they just rerouted and adding drain and such for the work. My problem is, I had them came and and pointed to them what I need, they run the whole line from my house to the guest house, if they saw or even notice the pipe was wrong, why didn't they say anything at that time, yet, continue doing without letting me know. I paid over $15,000 for their work and not even negotiate, so what is so hard to let me know the pipe is wrong and need another pipe instead?!?!? Then they charging me almost $1000 this time to have it fix while MVP only charges me $650. Never again Rooter Heroes. Very disappointed!!!!

I had a fair amount of under-house water supply line that needed to be replaced, in addition to some reworking of the kitchen water/drain lines.

Mario led the effort and spent a full week working through a variety of issues, keeping me fully informed and involved in the process.

It didn't help that it was hot weather and that there were many obstacles (foundation and ductwork) under the house.   They were troopers, for sure.

Mario and his team kept all in-house work areas perfectly clean, and went out of their way to keep most of our water turned on both during the day and overnight.  This was especially helpful since we were working from home due to COVID.

Much appreciation for the quality of their work, the attention to detail, keeping me fully in the loop, and for just being nice and friendly.

Had an appointment set for today between 8am and 11am. They call me at 935am. My fault I did not hear the ring probably but I saw a missed call at 940 am and called back, only for them to tell me the job has been reassigned. Seriously...can you atleast call your customers twice before you do that..I guess the economy is doing so great and there are plenty of jobs...an I dont give an eff attitude works for these companies....
