I had to replace an exterior window trim that was rotted. I specifically asked for treated lumber to avoid the same problem. Ricardo acknowledged but ended up installing untreated lumber (Douglas Fir) instead.

Ricardo gave me an estimate of $265 + parts. He suggested mold treatment so I agreed to have him buy the spray. Since he's going to do some caulking, I asked him to caulk a few cracks along the windows (as a courtesy). These extra work only took a few minutes & I expected it to be included in the labor estimate of $265. However, I was caught by surprise that he charged me an extra $45. So, at the end I was charged $310 for a job that only took 1 hr. An hour job would only cost $125 with 3 Brothers Handyman.

I am not happy that I didn't get what I expected & had to pay more than I expected. I will not being using his service again.

I want to thank David the service plumber and the rest of the RPS team for the hard work and great experience in an emergency plumbing problem I had. Toilets overflowed on me and a plunger was not effective. I scrolled on line and couldn't get through to any plumbers. RPS was responsive and efficient when they answered and got me scheduled for same day service! Very professional office communication and the service plumber David that showed up was very professional about the plumbing problem and very polite in regards to being in my home. Wore boot covers and cleaned up the area real well. Great hard working company that took care of me!

My last experience with Counsil Plumbing was absolutely terrible - a complete reversal from my first.  I had to wait 1 week for an appointment and then received a the morning of the appointment that a customer decided they wanted more things done - vs. an emergency of some kind.  I had to wait 4 more days for an appointment and then on the morning of the appointment, I received a call at 8:20am asking if the plumber could come in half an hour for a 10am appointment.  I said that wouldn't be convenient, and then was told, Hopefully nobody will call between now and then.  Really.  

Then, Aaron misdiagnosed both issues I had - banging pipes and a showerhead was making a screeching noise.  

Aaron's diagnosis of the banging pipes was that a hanger that was holding a pipe inside the wall had come loose.  Then he said that it was the neighbor's pipes (we live in a townhouse). He said that it wouldn't cause any problems and the only way to fix it was to open up the wall. After he left, I thought about it and decided that it didn't make sense that the problem was with the neighbor's pipes since the only time we heard banging was when we turned on our facets.  I did some research on the Internet and found that this is a common problem and you need to drain all of the water from the pipes.  That worked.  Aaron most definitely should have figured that out.

Then he unscrewed the showerhead, ran some water, and said it was fixed.  It started screeching after he left.  My husband installed a showerhead from our other shower, and it worked fine.  It was simply a faulty showerhead.

I sent an email about all of this to the email address on the Counsil website, but have not received a response after 2 weeks, which is why I am writing this.  So much for the guarantee of 100% satisfaction.

If I could give them 10 stars I could! They responded right away to my inquiry and they were able to get out to my house in just a couple of hours. Other plumbers said they couldnt' see me for a few days and another quoted me a price that was more than double what Plumbing Point charged me.  This was also on a holiday (NY eve) in the middle of a huge rainstorm. The project was more complicated then he originally expected (it was a backed up sink and then they ended up having to use the clean out) but he still honored my original quote so I added in a little extra to m payment.  They saved the day! I recommend Plumbing Point to all.

I hired Aaron to do a vaccum breaker install for my irrigation system. The quote was reasonable, and the quality of workmanship was excellent.Will certainly use him in the future.

Called them on drain cleaning special $79, After working maybe 15min with the snake they give up and mention it might be soil or whatever and tech says the cable might tangled there and make things worse.
However i still get charged even though its still clogged and they advise to do hydrojet cleaning at cost $1200

Im then calling handyman, he put bladder with garden hose, and in a matter maybe less than 5min the line is clear, the bladder itself only cost less than $20 which you can get from harbor freight or home depot.

It just make me wonder how does big company like this not able to figure out the issue, and a handyman can simply fix the issue with a very simple tool

Had a couple issues with a shower and a toilet.  Trevin made time to come out within a day and took care of both issues quickly.  Great to have another reliable plumbing service in town.

My water meter registered an exorbitant amount of water use when I was on vacation and after being told by EBMUD that there is a $46 charge to have someone check for a leak and it will be 3-5 days for an appointment I called Leo and he was there in 3 hours.
Leo just left my house after checking the plumbing inside and out for a suspected leak and determined there is no leak, I need a new meter.
He was one of the nicest, most honest plumbers I have dealt with and would not let me pay him!!
Now it's up to EBMUD to do their job.

Definitely 5-star plumber n this area. My Kenmore economiser 6 losts pilot from time to time after 11 years.  There is intermittent hot water.  After contacting 2 plumbers, one was bed sick and the other never responded, I left a text message for midas plumbing around 11pm. John called around 2pm in the afternoon and showed up 30 minutes later and replaced the thermocouple within 30 minutes. John is very professional and reasonable in fee. I highly recommend him.

Today the permit for final inspection was passed for the work to install one property line clean out, one building sewer clean out and remove one tree and stump at my house by Able Underground Construction. I'm pleased with the quality of service this company provides. Their staff always gave me a call before their workers come to my home. They were on time and finish all job in one day. The first inspection also passed on the same day that they finish their job.  It is efficiency and save time. Their field workers, Sergio, Ovet and Alejandro are friendly and hardworking. They did a good job with smile. Their office staff are also friendly and professional. From the first day to get the quote till the end of the job, they handled everything perfectly and professionally. Therefore I don't need to worry including all the paper works for apply permit  and arrangement for three inspection. They know what they do for this job. Beside, they have good equipment to do this sewer clean out and tree removal. Therefore  I would like to recommend this company to other because of my satisfaction with their service.

We contacted Israr to fix our linky sink faucet and got a quick response! He did a great job with very reasonable pricing. If we have other issues in the future we will contact him again!

John responded to my phone call within minutes (on a Saturday!) and came over a half-hour later to install a toilet float which (just barely, but completely) exceeded my own ability. He was pleasant, efficient and competent. His charges were more than fair. His card goes up on our special people for repairs bulletin board.

This company is the very best. We called them at 10:30 pm on a Friday night because of a sewer line collapse.  They came out quickly and determined, with camera proof, that my sewer line had to be replaced. I know they were being honest because this was not a new problem.  They gave me a an extremely reasonable up-front estimate for trenchless replacement, waived their initial emergency service fee and their crew was back the next morning to do the work. They did the work quickly, got the permit complete and left the driveway better than they found it two days later. Mario and his crew were polite, friendly and professional. The area manager, Giovanni, is the nicest guy you will ever meet.  He worked with me on filing an insurance claim and was very patient in waiting for payment. Most any other company would have taken advantage of the emergency situation we were in,  but Giovanni at Rooter Hero did not. They are excellent plumbers who can do anything and are great guys as well.  I know others have written negative reviews about this company but I can't adequately express how much I know otherwise and I will be a loyal customer in the years ahead.  It isn't often you are treated so fairly and well by plumbers or any service workers for that matter, but these guys will do just that.  I highly recommend them.

So we had a simple fix that turned out to be a lot more than that ... but Sergio came out to us and performed over and above what we could have ever hoped for! It was during the ridiculous heatwave and he really did a Fantastic job on our toilets! Sergio, if you read this, or if they mention it to you, we are very appreciative! Thank You!

$15 Sewer and Drain fixed a problem that Roto Rooter misdiagnosed. All of our drains were backing up so we had initially called Roto Rooter to fix the problem. Roto Rooter came out 3 more times to keep snaking and on the third time finally brought a camera and discovered a roots problem. (It would have been nice if they had done the camera the first time so we knew what was going on up front before spending $500). They told us they would need to use a cutter and (falsely) identified where our main waste pipe was. Frustrated with Roto Rooter, we called $15 Sewer and Drain and were relieved with the high quality of service we finally got.

$15 Sewer and Drain used a camera after cutting out the roots and found out what the real problem was, a broken pipe. They also used high-tech sonar-esque equipment that Roto-Rooter didn't have to locate the exact location of our waste pipes (about 5 feet over from where Roto-Rooter estimated). Antonio did a great job replacing our waste pipes and adding a city clean-out in just two days. Even though Antonio had to tear up the front yard to do the job, he put everything back (including the sod) just the way he found it, and you would never have guessed the huge job we had done there!

I definitely would use $15 Sewer and Drain again!
