We struck gold with CK Plumbing!  After finding out our go-to guy didn't do sink replacements, I used Yelp projects to find someone in the area who could take care of this massive job--replace 20+ year old kitchen and bathroom sink fixtures (5 of them), and replace a garbage disposal.  CK was one of the guys who answered promptly and was very straightforward with a quote and forthcoming with other details and information.  He and his team were able to get over to my parents' home in 2 days time.  They worked quickly and efficiently, but boy it was a big job!  They definitely earn their money.

The end results were beautiful, and so far so good; no complaints.  We don't have to worry much anyway because there's a 12 month warranty on their work.  

Really happy with their service and easy communication.  Will use again if we have to!

Eugene fixed clogging sink and then later exchanged the old disposal, both works are done very well. Plus he is very responsive and nice, straight forward on the quote, making honest suggestions, I would certainly use his company for future works.

We have used Bay Rooter & Plumbing four times (toilet installation, kitchen drain repair, shower repair, and a leak from a different shower). Each time they responded very quickly with a quote, and scheduled the work almost immediately, even in a non-emergency situation. Our plumber, Dan, does great work and communicates what he is doing well. The prices seem very reasonable. We will definitely continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs.

Their technician Nikolay B fixed 3 plumbing issues: one leaking shower faucet, two toilets. Nikolay B was fast and efficient. He did the diagnostics, returned with the parts the same day and finished the repairs. I was able to pay with a credit card and got the invoice via email.

The company is exceptionally good in communication. I placed my order thru the chat on the website, got a call from their service rep right after. On the day of service, the technician was running late because of some unexpected work on the previous order - and I was notified about the delay in a timely manner. I even received a text with the name and a picture of the technician prior to his arrival - really appreciate how they care about safety. The technician himself was very friendly and eager to explain what he was doing.

I noticed a leak in my first floor ceiling and got worried. We poked around and a gush of water came out. It was a weekend so I knew no one would come out. I called Ray and he gave me some directions on how to keep things at bay until he could come out. When he did come to take a look, he was on time and super nice. He put my mind at ease and we'll be working on the repairs. It's a bigger job than I anticipated but I feel comfortable working with Ray.

Hiring Freedom Underground Plumbing was perhaps the best decision I have made so far this year. When I bought my new house some 5 months ago I noticed that the bathtub was not draining quickly; soon afterward the kitchen sink began to get clogged and the bathtub drain began making frequent hick-up sounds; the alarm went off when the sink in my garage began to be filled up with filthy water carrying linen from the laundry, which flowed up from the sewage line. After doing a search on the Internet, I concluded that my house's lateral sewage line had to be completely clogged, most likely by roots from the nearby trees, and therefore needed to be dug up and replaced. After asking other homeowners at work I realized that I was looking at a repair which would likely end up costing me many thousands of dollars, yet I had no choice but to have the repair done immediately.

When I asked for a contractor I got a call from Freddy, who runs Freedom Underground Plumbing. When Freddy came home to give me an assessment he didn't ask for any payment to inspect the lateral sewage line with a special camera (unlike other plumbing companies do). By that means Freddy was able to follow the camera's progress inside the sewage lateral line with an manually held electric device and then pinpoint the exact location where the pipe was clogged and therefore impeded the further advance of the camera. Now here is where the story gets interesting: the clog was detected some 40 feet away from my house (by the sidewalk) yet he did not pitch me a replacement of the entire sewage line, as I'm sure other contractors would have done by taking advantage of my lack of knowledge on this subject; he recommended instead to replace only the segment that had been clogged so as to lower my expenses; he explained to me that he could replace the entire clay pipe leading up to that point if I wanted, but that it was not really necessary for the time being. Imagine that: a company advising a new customer how to save money at the company's own expense! His honesty (and friendliness) had me sold! I hired him right away and he and his co-worker arrived punctually on the day agreed on, which was a Saturday. He showed me every phase of the job, showed the clogged segment of the sewage pipe to me (which had been fractured and was filled with roots), gave me thorough explanations of the work he was doing, and quickly finished the job. The best part is that he charged me much less than what I was expecting to pay! Freddy even went inside my house to check some plumbing problems that I have to give me advise at no extra cost.

In a nutshell, I can wholeheartedly recommend Freddy's services. I just wish that more contractors would be like him!

Victor and the team are amazing. They are quick and efficient with reasonable prices. They became my restaurant handyman now. I can call or text them they will show up the same day or the next day. I never feel disappointed when I ask for their help.

Polis did an outstanding job fixing an improperly installed tankless water heater. Thanks to Polis we no longer have the runoff issue causing damage and ugly stains on our walkway and  there is no longer this loud noise permeating through the home when we turn on our hot water faucet. The kids can now sleep soundlessly when I wash clothes late at night. Thanks so much for your help!

I have always felt confidant with these local plumbers.  I went to High School with Steve and Sandy's sons, Scott and Spencer and was so happy to have them show up at my door when I had my first home owner's emergency.  They always walk me through what has to be done, and when it's all over, everything is clean, tight and working perfectly.  We just had a tankless water heater installed and the job went exactly as planned and even when I needed a minor follow up visit, they were happy to help me the very next day!  Love it!  Friendly, family oriented, reliable  and always willing to pet the dogs even when they are barking!

Shockingly good service. Timely, communicated well throughout and were just great guys to work with.

Came the next morning after I called. Had to order my parts and installed the same day they received them.

I can't say enough good things about Nick at Advanced Plumbing. We all know plumbing issues are frustrating--and before Nick I had been dealing with gruff (sometimes mean) plumbers that made everything even more frustrating. Nick is the opposite--a genuinely nice, friendly, and super helpful guy. Very knowledgeable, very thorough, very diligent, very responsive (all of this is very rare). He even went out of the way to come back to my apartment to help me hook up my dishwasher and fridge. Highly highly recommend!

I've used this woman-owned company a few times for the following:

* fix a toilet that continuously runs no matter how you fiddle with it
* fix a kitchen disposal that doesn't go no matter how you fiddle with it
* fix the bathroom drain that drains *very* slowly

Their phone receptionist is courteous and efficient - getting me scheduled usually within the same day.

Their contractors are knowledgeable, kind, and quick. On two occasions they recommended options for DIY and for ways to save money. When they had to get a part and install it, they did it next day. And I've had no problems with any of their work since they were here.

Bonus: Lauren, the owner, is a neighbor (Bernal Heights) and is really nice.

Javen responded to my call within minutes and took care of my garbage disposal issue.  All resolved within an hour.  Service was quick and work was done above standards.  Thank you.

Ronan and David are very nice. Ronan came to fix our kitchen garbage collector and he fixed it well. David came to tighten our bathtub taps. Following that bathtub work one of our bathtubs started to empty in the bathroom beneath it. The coincidence made me suspect that the tightening created another issue. Of course I am not sure! But: disappointingly Ronan and David were too busy to come have a look at the new issue or even just talk about it.

Gavin is professional, very responsive and gave me a reasonable quote. He arrived on time today and even helped us flush the pipe before actual backflow testing. The test went very smooth. I'd recommend him.

Called Ernie's about our water main leak in the morning. They came same day and earlier than expected (good thing), gave a fair estimate, and completed the work quick and reliably. They took pictures of the issue and the repair. And cleaned up so well I had to actually look to see where the lawn was dug up. Great work!!!! I will definitely call them again with any other needs.
