Update May 9, 2023: Not only does Mainline do poor work, based on Mainline's comments below, they lie about it. We *certainly* hired Mainline for this work- a photo of their invoice is attached.

Mainline blamed it on soft copper initially, which was pipe that Mainline chose. A screen shot of my text messages is also attached. Its more lies from Mainline instead of just claiming responsibility. I'm glad I did most of our communication via text.

There are many good, honest plumbers out there. Mainline isn't one of them. Save yourself the time and money and hire a truly reliable, honest plumber.

They are always responsive when I call or text, show up on time- and get issues fixed quickly and always get big or small issues repairs right the first time. We have used Mainline in the past but we recently moved and didn't think they would come to our new house - technically out of their service area. So, we called 2 plumbing companies and were given 2 high estimates. We asked/pleaded and they happily came out. Not only did they find a better, less expensive resolution to a rather large issue/repair but did the job so well!! They saved us THOUSANDS of dollars. With the other two companies we would we would have had to move out for days which would have been an issue. I cannot speak highly enough of them!!

Made a bunch of phone calls to find this place but really glad I did. We had area drains in the backyard that were clogged for a good couple of years and we couldn't figure out why. Ranelle told me she was confident she can get them unclogged and this is one thing they specialize in without having to use one of those hydrojet devices. Thank you so much guys! Finally water is not stuck in our backyard so we can hang out there without a row boat.

I've hired Mainline a few times over the last 10 years and they've always been very upfront and honest. I moved into my current house in 2013 and right away the water heater failed. I found Mainline and they came out. My water heater was nasty looking and old so they recommended replacing which is made sense so we went forward with that.

Now in 2022, that hot water heater from 2013 started to have issues. The pilot light was weak and it kept going out. I called Mainline and Ranelle laid out options for me. There was a repair kid that would replace the timer and pilot light which would be 1/4 the cost of a new & installed water heater. The current water heater was probably on its last leg so spending some more to get a new system is what I chose.

They were able to fit me in on the same day I called them back to tell them I was ready. A couple of hours later I had hot water again! I will be calling and hiring Mainline again without any hesitation. Highly recommend.

Such a great company! I called them to solve the mainline issue. (Roots grew a lot inside the pipe)
They were incredibly fast, responsive and solved the issue! They deep a very deep clean out, checked with camera all the potential issues that could arise and definitely did not try to benefit from our situation. (The other company tried to convince us to do the main line replacement for about $9000)
I definitely recommend their team!

We had a gas leak and the Gas Company came and red tagged our meter and shut the heat off. I called around and couldn't get anyone and then reached Mainline who were very helpful, receptive, and knowledgable.

They shifted some things around and got me on their schedule early the following morning. The husband and wife owners kept me up to date, informed me on the nature of the leak, and gave me the info on how to re establish heat and I was only inconvenienced for less than 48 hours before the heat was restored. Thanks!

I thought I had a gas leak and contacted Mainline via the Yelp app and Ranelle responded promptly and was able to get her guys out to my house within an hour to check it out. Turned out there was no leak but I appreciated the promptness in their response and their knowledge. Will be keeping them in mind for any future plumbing needs!

I just had to write a review because I really lucked out when I found Mainline Plumbing and Rooter. Today, they've come to my rescue when in a bind, once again! There's nothing like having a plumber you trust and can count on. I've been a customer for several years and they've helped me out of multiple stressful plumbing issues in my 1930s house. Can't say how incredibly grateful I am to have such a reliable, fair and trustworthy plumber to call on! It's so easy to get in touch and communicate with Ranelle, the fees are fair and reasonable and their service is prompt and skilled. You will be very pleased with their work! Highly recommend!

If I could give Ranelle and Mainline Plumbing a 10 star review, I would. Mainline replaced my water heater 3 years ago and it's perfect. Clean company, efficient, on time, etc.
I called Ranelle yesterday as I had a slow drain in my shower. Ranelle said they were swamped and referred me to another company that could help. That company was very nice but unfortunately did not take credit cards. $$ is tight for everyone these days. I texted Ranelle and thanked her for the referral but it wasn't going to work as I did not have $$ on hand.
She was so lovely, although swamped, she put me on the schedule for today. My house is super old, built in 1937 with old pipes in a portion of the house. These plumbers worked for over an hour to get to the clog. They worked very gently as they knew old pipes Ranelle, still honored the price she quoted.
Not many plumbers do that these days, they come down, take a look and give you a whole different estimate.
I will be using Ranelle once times get good again to upgrade existing pipes in our house.

We had a less than 4 year old Rheem water heater where the pilot light would go out every few days. Had another plumber come by and checked it out and said Rheem is a terrible brand and quoted me some astronomical number to get it replaced because of how covid is disrupting the global supply chain. I thought we could live with having to reignite the pilot light every few days.

Fast forward a couple of weeks later and the pilot light now just doesn't even stay on for more than a few minutes. Worried that we won't be able to take a hot shower, we decided to just bite the bullet and get it replaced but wanted to get a second quote and thank god we did. We called Mainline Plumbing & Rooter Sunday afternoon and spoke to Ranelle. She quoted us over the phone and it was more than half off what the first plumber quoted us and she said that she can have her team come out first thing the next day at 9am.

Monday at 8:55am they were there and by 10am they were done. Quick and easy and now we have consistent hot water. They did an amazing job! They are 100% my go to for plumbing needs.

I have been a client of Mainline Plumbing for several years. They are responsive, concerned about whatever plumbing issue you may have and will respond in the fastest time possible.
They've had to solve a myriad of plumbing problems, from finding a hidden leak and fixing it, installing a new tankless water heater to installing a leak detection and shut off device and more.
Their plumbers are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.
Ranelle is very responsive, and their pricing is very competitive. Have had many plumbers over the years. They are the best!

Mainline is truly the best Plumbing and Rootering company I've used...they are totally reliable, very affordable and they REALLY know their stuff! They just fixed our leaking bathroom faucet and under-sink water valve, and did it quickly and professionally.

I've used Mainline for a wide range of problems over the years (from leaking faucets and shower valves, to snaking/rootering out the largest clump of tree roots from our sewer line that you've ever seen - there was a true a monster pile of tree roots when they were done!).

The owner, Ranelle, is always available and keeps you informed along the way. She often asks for a quick photo of the problem texted to her so she can tell how big a job it will be, and can even tell what special parts might be needed based on your fixtures. And if there are parts shortages (like there are now during COVID), she lets you know about that before sending a crew out (unlike other plumbers I've used in the past, who come out, charge for a service call, and only THEN say Oh, I'll need to order a part...I'll be back in a week). And with Mainline, if someone else cancels or she has an unexpected opening, Ranelle will try to get you a crew out even earlier.

While no plumber is cheap, because Mainline is honest in their work, (don't charge you for unnecessary things, and don't try to pad the bills by sneaking in repairs that aren't really necessary -- like some other local companies do), I've actually found their rates to be among the best and most affordable in LA.

If you live in Mainline's service area, and if you have a plumbing problem, do yourself a favor and call Ranelle at Mainline...once you've done that, you won't ever call another plumber again.

PS - their workmen on today's job were awesome, and they were very careful and safe in wearing masks, and had booties to wear when inside. You can definitely feel safe having them in your home during this crazy COVID pandemic!

Broken pipe from our house was emptying straight onto the hillside. The Mainline crew came out on schedule and dug up and replaced 22 feet of pipe in around 4 hours. Quick response, efficient and effective communication. Seems a first class operation, and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Since we needed to replace the faucet in our bathroom sink, without a doubt, we again called Mainline Plumbing, based on our pleasant experience with Mainline Plumbing and how professional they were with our previous project.

We had our new faucet in the box and called Ranelle. She worked very efficiently and was able to schedule Carlos with an assistant to come out to tackle our faucet replacement within the hour. Carlos is a very experienced plumber with great attention to detail. He and his assistant removed our old faucet and installed our new faucet very quickly without issue.

In addition, we had an issue with our guest bathroom, where the water temperature in the shower would go cold when hot water was turned on in other rooms. The cause was exactly what Caesar thought it would be. Carlos helped us to quickly install a new cartridge in the shower and Caesar came and efficiently calibrated the temperature. What great teamwork again!

Mainline Plumbing is just AMAZING!
Ranelle manages the team and business so well. She is so fantastic. Caesar is so knowledgeable and professional. Carlos is super experienced! The rest of the Mainline Plumbing team are fabulous!

Wow, it's companies like this one that makes me lose faith in contractors.

I emailed this company on August 11, 2017 because we had a bathtub with no hot water coming out, and an adjacent shower would cycle between scalding hot water and warm (on the warm setting) every 10 seconds or so.

This all started happening after having our kitchen remodeled where they moved a tankless water heater to the other side of the house, and I told them this in my email.

They sent out two guys who crawled under my house and verified that my plumbing was all good and correct. He said it must be the valves in the bathtub and shower. I told him that I had just replaced the valve in the shower and that didn't solve the problem. He said, ok, that he had called the office and they were sending over the parts for the bathtub.

A little while later I went in to check and a big burly guy was coming out of the bathroom, someone I had not seen prior to this. They told me the problem was fixed so I went in and checked that bathtub and it was indeed working. I turned the water on in the shower, and it seemed ok, but it takes a few minutes of showering for the problem to start.

I asked them how much I owed them, because the only estimate they had given me was $150 to come out and check. They did not tell me how much the parts were or any of the installation costs. The big burly guy said, We'll send you an invoice, and they all left.

Next day, the scalding water problem still exists.

So I email them again and let them know. Ranelle calls back and says they're going to have to send someone back out to take a look a the tankless water heater. She said it would be tomorrow or the next day. She also told me that the valves they installed were $60 each. I told her that I didn't need the one in the shower and that I had told the guy I had just replaced it.

Two weeks later, they still hadn't come back and I still didn't know what to do about paying them these charges (I still don't even have an invoice). They just installed parts without telling me how much they'd cost! I looked up the parts on Amazon and they are available for $22.48 each. They charged $60 each...that's a 122% markup.

So today I email the company again. Ranelle tries to get me to talk to her on the phone, but I know to get everything in writing. So she writes:

Eric I just spoke to my husband- he said you watched him install both of the shower cartridges. After we installed you told me you had recently replaced one. I'm not sure why you had them install? It's clear you feel you should not have to pay for any labor or parts for the shower. If the parts have been replaced including the shower head and we went under the house to make sure the plumbing was correct - I'm not sure what our next step would be. I had originally told you we would charge $150 to go under the house and check the plumbing- I will just charge a $90 service call.

Well! 1) I never watched anyone install any cartridges...that's a lie. 2) I had no idea this guy was her husband. 3) I told their employee BEFORE he called for parts that I had already installed the shower cartridge myself and heard him tell them on the phone when he called in the order. 4) I never once said I felt I shouldn't have to pay for any labor or parts, I felt I shouldn't have to pay for parts that didn't fix the problem! So I wrote her back and told her all this. I also told her that I'd accept the $90 service call but that I was going to leave a detailed Yelp review.

She then writes back and says,

Just disregard the invoice altogether Eric. I don't recall talking about your tankless? We don't service tankless heaters- we never have. And that's what we pay for those parts- we never mark up parts. I wasn't ignoring you- I honestly thought we had spoken- I take responsibility for that. No one is lying - we don't lie, we have no reason to. If there was a misunderstanding then I take responsibility for that. I don't like texting or emailing when there is a situation like this- please call me if you would like to discuss anything further - but you owe us nothing. Ok?

OMG...it's like Twilight Zone! They don't service tankless water heaters, but in my ORIGINAL email I told her it could be a problem with my tankless water heater! AND, their website advertises that they do (see attached photo) So why did she send someone out then???? And she honestly expects me to believe that they don't mark up their parts and that they themselves pay 122% more than what Amazon charges??? And her husband DID lie if he told her that I stood there and watched him install the cartridges.

Just now she sent me the invoice for what they pay from the most expensive dealer in the area ($60 at Snyder Diamond), even though Home Depot and Lowes have it in stock for $39...35% cheaper.

Of course she doesn't like things in writing...it allows customers to hold their words back against them.

This company is amazing. I got the recommendation from all my neighbors who are on Yelp and Nextdoor and they were so right!!!!! From the initial call to the final payment the service was flawless. The owner and the plumbers are just a delight to work with and so very personable but most importantly professional. They will be my go to from now on.

As a rental housing provider I need maintenance providers on a regular basis. For some reason, plumbers have been the hardest to work with - Until now! A few months ago I posted on another social media site asking for recommendations for a plumber. I got three names the first two companies never called me back. Ranelle called me within a few minutes and was so helpful and honest. She saved me a lot of time and money! Fast forward to yesterday, I came home to find the roots of tree by the sidewalk had burst the main pipe and water was pouring onto the sidewalk - Ranelle with Mainline was my first call! She sent a team out, they fixed it quickly, she helped me get DWP to reimburse me for the wasted water charges, and their fee was very reasonable. I have FINALLY found a plumber I can use and refer to friends and family and feel confident with. Put the phone number for this company in your phone, because you'll want to make them your default number when you need a plumber. They're wonderful! Thank you Ranelle and Mainline Plumbing!

I can't say enough good things about mainline plumbing I've used them twice one on a total bathroom redo and also just now on an emergency water heater problem. They were there within 45 minutes and beat every other quote I found. I love these people finding a good plumber is everyone's biggest problem and Mainline Plumbing is forever my plumber of choice. Call and talk to Ranelle she knows what you need and has the best crews I've ever worked with. There not some dirty smelly crew in a beat up truck tracking grease all over your house. You all know what I'm talking about. They are professional, efficient and don't try to up charge you with unnecessary work.

Mainline Plumbing is a wonderful gem we found on Yelp as new home owners a little over 7 years ago. Our new purchase money pit had some issues with the pipes under the concrete driveway and tree roots. The first company we contacted told us we would have to dig up the driveway and install new pipes. As any diligent (and house poor) homeowner does, we got a second opinion from Mainline. They told us not to waste our money. We didn't need to dig up anything. They rootered (is that the technical term? Haha) through the pipes and said if we cleared out every couple of years and were careful with what we flushed, (down to the brands of toilet paper we should stay away from) we'd be just fine. Almost 8 years on that has proven to be the case. From that moment on we knew that we had found our plumber! We've never needed a second opinion for plumbing! This is a testament to their honesty and knowledge. They absolutely are experts in their field.

Since then Mainline has been so quick to respond to all the normal gross plumbing joys of home ownership, making sure that we are taken care of what feels like almost immediately. They are so wonderful to their customers, new and long standing.
When the team is here they are so hard working. They do not stop until they identify the problem and get it fixed. If they need more guys or different equipment more of the team shows up.
They are skilled, diligent, and hard working.

Just today I text Ranelle at 7:20am (I didn't want to call so early) to let her know our 10 yr old hot water heater had given out. She immediately replied, directed me to take photos so she could do a warranty check. Her first priority was to make sure that I didn't have to buy a new water heater if I didn't have to. What did I tell you about being honest and taking care of their customers? Ranelle gave me all the information about extending the new tank's warranty and is going to help me with the SoCal Gas rebate!! Who does that?!?! Good people, that's who!
I was told the team would be here after lunch. The team finished up their first job early so I was given a heads up and at 11:05am the team was here. Because my husband was giving a presentation on Zoom they went out of their way to drain our 75 gallon water heater with a hose instead of the noisy pump they normally use (I'm sure this was more time consuming). The team really is so considerate of your home and what you have going on. By 12:45pm everything was done, one of the guys showed me how to light the pilot and adjust the temp if I need to and Cesar, the owner (with Ranelle) and plumber extraordinaire was hosing down the pavement to make sure there was no trace of them having been there. What a great and quick experience for something that could have caused big problems!

If all of this was not enough to convince you how good they are at what they do and how lovely they are I have one final experience to tell you about. My in-laws lost their house in the Wolsey fires a couple of years ago and I am helping them to find all the finishes and fixtures they need on a budget (side note: even with massive insurance polices, insurance doesn't cover every cost - we have had to budget hard for even the basics). So, not being an expert in plumbing and plumbing fixtures myself I didn't want to mess anything up and had some questions before I bought the wrong things and had them installed in the new building. It is important to note that Mainline are not the plumbing company our contractor uses (although I wish they were). Nonetheless, knowing how lovely they are I called Ranelle to ask if she would mind educating me a little bit on a couple of things. Not only was she kind enough to give me her time, which was so helpful, she tried to connect me with one of her suppliers to see if we could get all of the items (for an entirely new house) at a discounted rate. She did this for no other reason than she is a wonderful person! She wasn't going to get any commission, nor did I have any control over who the contractor uses for his plumbing needs. I can't tell you how much this warmed my heart and speaks volumes to the wonderful people they are and excellent company Ranelle and Cesar run.

So if you've made it to the end of my 5* review you won't need me to tell you to stop looking and call Mainline.
I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This company is the best plumbers I have ever worked with. The technicians are highly skilled and committed to doing a truly great job, and their office manager, Renelle, is incredibly sweet and always responsive! We initially hired them to help with a fire pit issue, when we first moved into our home as first time home-owners. Coordinating with Renelle was such a positive experience that we hired them again for a water pressure:temperature issue and they helped out with our garbage disposal while they were there. We have now had them help us with countless other little jobs, and today they installed a new water heater making sure to address all the labor intensive surrounding issues to ensure that the job was done right. They're price was the best quote we got and their service is aways exceptional. Love this company!

As a realtor/broker I have used Mainline Plumbing for my sewer inspections and sewer repairs/replacements for 10+ years. I have also used them at my own property and properties that I buy and sell. I am overly impressed with their service/workmanship/pricing and ability to be responsive in an emergency situation. I can text Ranelle 24 x 7 and she always responds almost immediately. I have had to use other plumbers on the rare occasion when they aren't available and am usually sorely disappointed.

Mainline is absolutely the best plumbing operation in LA! We came back after being gone for 4 days to water damage in our dining room and texted them on Sunday. We received a response in 2 hours and by 11:30 am on Monday, Carlos and his partner were curing into the drywall and repairing the leak that caused a lot of internal damage. We couldn't be more grateful for their responsiveness!!! Thanks for being there when we needed you.

This was sadly a waste of time. The service seemed extremely rushed and instead of helping to resolve the issue I was left without any water at all. The technicians said that they never seen water pressure issues of this nature and they could not even be bothered to send somebody back out to help. I had family visiting and we had no running water for days. Apparently, the company has a big job with the city and cannot afford to send somebody to help fix their mistakes. I've been left high and dry with these guys. I am glad the neighborhood loves them but if your seeking for great customer service and attention to detail please look somewhere else. I work in commercial HVAC and cannot even imagine if I told a customer that I had no idea what's wrong and don't have the time to send some somebody after we made something worse. We're supposed to be neighbors but I didn't get a warm feeling. Just a lot of wasted time and some money.

late sunday night and my daughter says something is happening in my bathroom. I went in to find an inch of smelly water on the tile floor with a familiar smell beginning to assault us. we quickly cleaned up while my wife went to yelp to find help. I knew enough to turn off water and grab rubber gloves and shoes to clean this vile water, now very settled in. mainline plumbers promised to be here early this morning. their team showed up and quickly cleaned the roots from our pipes and fixed our short term issues. both men were polite and efficient allowing me to watch the video and explain each step of the way. I will be calling them again.

We had an explosive 4th of July- our sewer and our water heater. Ugh. We called Mainline and Ranelle and Cesar were so great. Been meaning to write this for 2 months... We had a backed up toilet in the middle of the night. Plunging and bailing it repeatedly didn't work. Called Mainline the next day. They responded within minutes, got someone out to us in less than a couple hours and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. This was also at the beginning of the Covid pandemic (April) and they were fantastic about gloves, masks, booties, etc...

Will definitely use again. They're great!

We had an emergency sewer backup to our surprise at 7:00 this morning. Our toilets did not flush and just kept backing up. My husband found this amazing company, Mainline on Nextdoor, which were highly recommended and thank heavans for that. He called them right away and Ranelle answered and was very professional. She took the time and listed to our emergency situation. She let my husband know that they were booked solid today, but after hearing our emergency, she squizzed us in. Within 45 minutes of our initial call, Richard showed up with an employee and were very professional as well as COVID compliant. They were there for about 1 1/2 hrs using a rooter machine because my sewer line was heavily Infested with roots. They recommended to use a Hydrojett to help clear out all the roots. They came back later that afternoon to do the Hydrojett, so glad we took their advise. We look forward to using Mainline for all our plumbing needs and you will too!

WOW! I completely agree w/ Ms. T's review however my service needed attention in the backyard so the shoes / boots were not an issue, but my broken (hidden) sprinkler pipe was the culprit. With Ranelle's phone glued to her hip, I was in constant knowledge of knowing when her team was to arrive so that I could let them into the backyard and not get greeted by my two large chocolate labs without my presence. The work was done fast, neat and quickly. They have been, apparently, doing my neighbors house for years and I never knew...now i do and will be using them forever.

Finally a plumbing company that has Nordstrom like customer service - ex-Nordstrom employee of 15 years!

Mainline Plumbing is TERRIFIC. I have used other plumbers thought the years, with varying success. The plumbing problems were never solved, and the price they would charge me was outrageous. I would like to give Ranelle at Mainline Plumbing a HUGE thank you for helping me over the phone with my toilet problem today. She is an Angel!!! I have a Toto toilet that didn't seem to be filling properly. To make a long story short - Ranelle did a little trouble shooting over the phone to help me while parts could get ordered. In helping trouble shoot - we figured out that the water valve had been turned off slightly (probably from my housekeeper) and the water wasn't filling properly. There is actually nothing wrong with my toilet - but I wouldn't have known that if Ranelle didn't take time over the phone to trouble shoot with me. Great lady! Called different plumber first to clear a mainline block. First plumber wasn't able to clear it and quoted me $1800 to $2400 to install a cleanout in the backyard do some hydro jet thingy and god knows what else. Called Mainline for a second opinion. It was Monday night and after a busy weekend and hectic start to the week I wanted a nice hot bath. I drew a bath, lit some candles, grabbed a book and was ready for some R&R.

I got in the bath and just before it was full turned off the water... or at least I tried to. I turned the knob off but water continued to pour out of the socket. My relaxing bath soon turned very stressful.

I called the plumbers I know but they were unavailable so I turned to Yelp. This company was probably my 5th call but they answered the phone at 8pm on a Monday evening and agreed to come first thing the next morning.

The men that arrived were very professional. It was difficult because at first we could not find the access but they were diligent and eventually found it. It turns out a pipe needed replaced and they needed to order it.

They were easy to communicate with via text and phone. The job was able to be completed in three days. Prices were very fair. Then men were very clean, which I really appreciated.

I'd definitely use them again and strongly recommend them!

CALL MAINLINE BEFORE ANY OTHER PLUMBER! I called with a water heater that wouldn't heat. They were at my home 3 hours later. The problem with the heater? The rain had flooded the basin causing the heater to shut off. Not only that, they Macgyvered the water heater cabinet that had a hole allowing water to enter the water heater cabinet! Update review on these, my GO TO plumbers. They are very busy for a reason. I am a single woman landlord and have been hustled , or attempted to be hustled by many. But never Mainline, who are always honest and always trying to save me money. I knew from 4 or 5 years ago from them and their last clean out of my 80 foot 4 inc house line , eventually I would have to address the 6 inch clay line from my sidewalk clean out to the city line. But they looked at it maybe 5 years and said you can wait and did not press me for it.
So, This week a neighbor had to get an emergency replacement in the same length in the street because of very big roots. I asked if they had a time for an overdue camera check up on my line. Wow, root and breaks in line all along the camera feed. They just gave me a very reasonable rate as they are literally next door finishing another job. Yelp likes this other company too . I called Ranelle and told her the price and she said: Do it! We can't for that price right now, and most people can't. HOW HONEST IS THAT?? God looks over me , but so does Ranelle. This is a straight shooting company and I will call them back when I next need a clean out or other service. Trust them as I do. thank you.

Terrific customer service! Ranelle picked up the phone right away. Luckily they were working close by and she was able to schedule me in quickly. She indicated a window of time and kept me informed of the arrival time. Cesar arrived and was efficient, knowledgeable and clean! They even wore booties over their shoes, no plumber has ever done that!!!
He was able to diagnose the problem immediately and set to work. Problem fixed in no time!!
I also want to add that this was an ongoing problem and 2 other plumbers had already been out without being able to fix it. One said to leave it alone and live with it! The other recommended a VERY expensive fix. That's when I turned to YELP and found Mainline.

Unfortunately we had to a main line blockage (roots) on the Sunday we returned from vacation. It was a real bummer until Mainline showed up. Caesar brought the camera and the snake and even managed to pinpoint where the roots were invading the pipe. (I'm looking at YOU my little primrose bush.)

Since it was a Sunday I was concerned we would have to wait, but he jumped in the truck and was at my door in twenty minutes.

Top notch! I woke up to water everywhere in my kitchen and saw that there was a leak coming from my garbage disposal. First thing I thought during this crazy time: I can fix it. After some research, it was clear that the disposal needed to be replaced. Called several companies who couldn't do a quote over the phone--and if I was going to get people in my place, it needed to be a one time deal. Enter Mainline Plumbing, who obviously has so much experience, was able to quote me over the phone AND get a skilled technician in ASAP! The crew that came was so professional and followed all COVID protocols: masks, gloves, shoe coverings. They were so amazingly efficient and did a perfect job!! Ranelle, who I believe is the owner, was amazing from start to finish. Constant communication via text, and made me feel confident in the business. 100% will be my go to plumbing service from here on out. I really wanted to give them 5 stars because of all the great reviews. Here are the pros-

I was able to get them out the same day
Ranelle was very nice and assured me they would help me out
When they arrived they put on booties before coming inside
They were quick and efficient

Now for why I couldn't give them 5 stars. I contacted them on Thursday night through the Yelp online quote. Ranelle got back to me right away. I told her I had a stopped up toilet and asked if they could come out Friday morning. She said they probably could come out in the AM.

Then I didn't hear back. Friday morning I called to see if they could come out and she said she had to check because the guys were working in her attic and she had guests coming and she'd call me back in a few minutes...

When almost an hour had passed, I called her back. She said she would send them out. The next I heard was that they couldn't find parking and was asked if I would let them into my underground parking. I agreed.

The next I heard was that their van wouldn't fit. I asked if they had another vehicle that wasn't as high and they didn't.

All this was going on while I was trying to time everything with a visit from an exterminator!

I called again after 1:00 and said the parking should be OK (the issue was the no parking between 10 & 12). She told me they were busy and would get to me later in the day. In a couple hours she told me they would be there between 4 & 4:30.

They did show up in that time frame and all went smoothly from there.

Here's my issue. If they had come out first thing in the morning as I'd requested, the parking wouldn't have been an issue and I wouldn't have spent the whole afternoon waiting.

I understand that we can't always get someone to come out at a time that is convenient for us, but as a first time customer I was disappointed that I felt like I was left dangling. If I'd been told right away that they didn't have anyone to send out first thing in the AM, I might have called someone else or I could've planned my day accordingly. At least I would've been impressed with the honestly.

Also, when you say you'll call back in a few minutes, you should call back in a few minutes. Maybe that's old school of me...

I cannot say enough of how Mainline Plumbing has answered ever problem we have had !!!!! Just recently (Sunday 4-15) we were notified by our neighbors that we had a leak !!!! Called Mainline Plumbing and they said they would be out first thing in the morning , sending one guy !!! Well Monday morning I had 4 guys at my house and within about 20 minutes they found the leak (it was underground) !!!! Mainline Plumbing has been my go to plumbers and ALWAYS WILL BE !!!!! I was moving and as the movers was removing the washer, the shut off valve was broken, so they could not detach the washer! The movers was only there for another hour and I needed an ASAP job done. Mainline was quick, came within 20 min and replaced wall outlet, and we got it all moved with us.
It was about double price of normal, but i guess If you need it done asap, it cost.
Only reason i don't give it 5 stars is the high cost.

I hired mainline plumbing after moving into my new place and that evening the water valve in my shower broke! It was late in the day and they took 100% care of the problem. They were extremely responsive, supportive, and stayed with me to make sure everything was OK. They even returned the next day in the morning to replace the valve I needed for a better one. Trust these people! They completely replaced the plumbing under our house after a flooding and even referred a Water Damage Remediation Service to put us back the way we were.

More, when our insurance insisted on another plumber, Mainline agreed to oversee the job so that we were not completely taken advantage of (which absolutely would have happened). And, at no cost! We could not have done it without them!!!

My upstairs water heater started to spew water, and my regular plumber was home with the flu. After shutting off the water, I got some recommendations from friends and looked on Yelp. Mainline Plumbing had great reviews, so I gave them a call.

Ranelle, who runs the office side of the business, was thoroughly knowledgeable about plumbing and told me that her husband, Cesar, would arrive at my home within an hour.

Cesar showed up on time, quickly assessed the situation, returned to the office to do some additional research, called back with a price and got the job done.

Throughout the process I was impressed with the way that Ranelle and Cesar communicated with me and finished the job on time and on budget.

They may not be the cheapest plumbers, but they are hard working, honest and reliable. Would definitely recommend Mainline and will use them again.

Awesome experience with these guys!! We called after hours on a Thursday night because our downstairs bathroom sink was backing up and gushing out sewage water.

I googled rooters in my area and found Mainline's yelp page filled with happy customers. So we called and spoke with Ranelle who was very kind and to the point. She sent her husband out right away. Super cool guy, professional, knowledgeable, and he has great hair.

He fixed our problem in no time. And we even got to see the inside of our pipes with his camera.

I hope we never have to deal with problems like this again, but if we do, we're calling Mainline for sure!

Mainline plumbing saved my parent's brick driveway. While I was in town for a visit, they had a leak in an underground pipe that was causing water to flow up through the grouting. Based on the Yelp reviews, they called Mainline.

Shortly after speaking with Ranelle, Cesar came out to assess the situation. He didn't want to do anything rash -- like tearing up the driveway -- before finding out where the leak was actually coming from. Ranelle put us in touch with Goldak, the leak detection company with whom they do business.

Goldak found the leak (under the stairs that lead to the driveway) and after speaking with them, Cesar determined that he could reroute the pipe instead of going through the brick. And that's what they did. This was a huge, all day job of putting in 60 feet of copper pipe underground, tunneling underneath the brick, and into the hillside. For a reasonable rate they did an incredible job with beautiful clean-up, and a little over 48 hours after originally calling them, the driveway was leak free.

As a side note, the work they did also fixed the small amount of water that had been coming out of the storm drain for a long time.

This is a skilled company with excellent customer service. Thank you so much Cesar, Ranelle and the Mainline crew!

I just used Mainline for my 3rd time since living here: first they replaced my faulty water pressure regulator identified as an issue in my home inspection, then a few months ago they replaced my hot water heater that gave out since it was beyond its life expectancy. Late last night, I heard a gushing sound in my back yard...turns out one of my sprinkler pipes cracked and was spraying water everywhere!...

Let me tell you, it was soooo nice not to have to panic about this one iota -- I knew that Mainline would COME RIGHT OVER. And they did. 10pm on a Sunday night!

Aside from being available to their customers literally 24/7, Mainline is as honest and reputable as they come. It is a pleasure to support this local small business. Ranelle and Cesar (the owners) are a pleasure to deal with, and their pricing is fair. Just as importantly, they have never tried to upsell me on anything, which tends to be prevalent in the home services industry. I trust them completely.

Yes, they are busy. But think about it: do you really want to use the plumber no one else calls? I just saw a review on here saying that getting him an estimate took too long for his liking. First, I assume this was something that Mainline was working up for him for free. Second, I also see that Ranelle apologized to him profusely. And third, I would think there'd be a little understanding that emergencies take precedence over bids for prospective work that might not even come to fruition. I speak from experience as someone who has had to wait himself -- the first job I used Mainline for (the water pressure regulator) they wound up having to push my appointment twice due to emergencies that came up. But that's totally understandable -- I had no pressing issue like I did the next two times I used them, when they were at my door in an instant.

This is simply the trade-off one needs to accept when using such a reputable, fair and knowledgeable small business -- they only have limited resources, but will throw them whole hog at the most pressing problem at hand. If YOU have that pressing problem (and with plumbing, it is generally pretty all or nothing as far as the severity goes) then those are YOUR resources, 24/7. So to me, that is more than worth waiting a little bit in the non-emergency situations. Thank you, Mainline.

I bought a 70 year old house. It has been a nightmare of plumbing needs. If you are like the other 99% of the world, like me, you can't afford to just retrofit an entire house at once.

Ranelle and Mainline have come out here in waves taking on portions at a time over the past year, giving me deals I can afford and knocking out the house plumbing needs in sections so I can eventually finish the whole place. They are very busy but always make time for my special plumbing needs.

If you work with them they are wonderful in working with you and the most important part is the actual plumbing work is beyond exceptional. Hard to find vendors of any nature like them

All I can say is thank you for cleaning my clogged pipes in my house. I have been battling this all weekend and was not able to do anything. This morning it got worse so submitted a quote on Yelp and Ranelle texted me within a hour wow now that is service. I can't say enough about the service Mainline Plumbing provided to me at a moments notice. I had my main sewer line break under the house and after I had a clean-up company remove the sewage, Mainline came out and replaced the needed plumbing components one hour after I contacted them. The Mainline crew were very courteous and worked hard so my family could get the use of our bathrooms back before the end of the day. The costs for doing the job were very reasonable compared to other plumbing companies I contacted. The company is a family owned business which I will use again in the future for any plumbing problems that might arise.

I will never ever use anyone else, these guys have done an unbelievable job and have constantly come in at an extremely fair price and super professional job. I went through my home warranty Company (on my latest issue) and they sent out somebody else and I was quoted $1000 because he needed to tear out my walls and rip up my tile and replace the entire valve system...I got smart and called Ranelle... her team came out and simply replaced the stem. Problem solved and no construction crew. There's a reason why they have five stars and so many reviews. If you're not using them you are literally throwing money down the drain... no pun intended!

Had Mainline come out due to a broken irrigation/sprinkler pipe. Came out the morning I called and the job was done by mid day. Very courteous and explained the situation. We ended up replacing the plastic broken pipes with better quality and longer lasting copper pipes and the entire job was $325

Would never contact anyone else. Live in an older home in studio city and have had numerous water issue problems over the years. Have tried many different plumbers and finally found my go to. We had a sewer back up and called a company that our neighbor recommended. They cleared out the drain, for the most part, but they still needed to come back to video the sewer line and install a clean out pipe. First their camera broke, then they did not keep their appointment.

I never like giving a perfect score but this company deserved it. I am not saying they acted perfectly but they provided beyond excellent service.

When I first called this company, I had it in my mind that I wanted to replace the pipe because there were roots (about 6 feet long) in my pipe. I had just bought this house and I didn't want to have to maintain the pipes by rooting it out regularly. I got quotes of thousands of dollars and up from a bunch of other plumbers.

Ranelle convinced me to just hydrojet after installing a clean-out. So I followed her advice. I definitely don't mind saving money. She also gave me a fantastic estimate for installation of the clean out and hydro jet. I also verified that the company was licensed, bonded, insured. She even sent me proof of their CGL policy. Her estimate was the least expensive out of all the contractors I called. I called about 5 contractors.

Three vans showed up at the house. They were so efficient and clean with the job. Ranelle even ordered the permit for me because I am a by-the-books kind of person.

The clean out they installed looked great. They showed me what the sewer looked like before the hydrojet and what it looked like after. I have clay pipe and it looked so good after. They said that no repairs were necessary. The roots had gotten in through a joint in the pipes but didn't damage the pipes.

Thank this company for saving me thousands of dollars. Ranelle suggested I buy Root X and use it every 6 months and hydrojet every few years for maintenance.

I forgot to mention how quickly Ranelle set up the appointment. I called on Tuesday and the project was done on Friday. Pretty amazing turn-around. And she didn't ask for payment immediately after. She mailed me an invoice and trusted that I would pay it. Of course I will. :)

Above and beyond.

My hot water tank had to be replaced. I used Mainline to replace the tank and make the needed code upgrades. They were efficient and quick with coming to my house and installation. Prices were reasonable. I had some issues with the tank after the install that were determined to be a defect from the manufacturer and they went above and beyond helping me get a replacement.

I highly recommend Mainline Plumbing & Rooter. I used them several months ago and was very pleased so I decided to use them again this time to re-pipe my whole house. They asked for two days just in case they needed it but it only took one day. What a difference in the water pressure, AMAZING. They used a combination of copper And type-L pex materials. Everything in much quieter now. I keep referring my friends to them. Renelle, the owners wife is very accomodating and nice. They are busy so that itself says they are fantastic.

My first negative review of a company on Yelp. Three times in one week they cancelled their appointment. Each time they promised they would be out the next day to take care of a damaged faucet part. Finally, after a week, he came out, looked at the part and said that it was indeed damaged. Ok, thanks. When asked if they had a replacement he tells me he would try to find one. When I sent him links to the parts, he tells me it's impossible to tell if it is the right part.

Bottom line, if you like the run around with nothing getting done, this is the company for you. If you want the job done, better to look elsewhere.

I called these guys at 7:30PM because a wet smelly carpet in my bedroom closet suddenly turned into a ceiling leak in my kids' downstairs bedroom! Yikes, ceiling collapse?! I thought it was a backed up shower drain or something. The technician from Mainline was at home and dropped whatever he was doing and arrived at my house 30 minutes later, 8pm.

He was very courteous, professional, checked around to find the leak. He thought maybe he should cut a hole in the ceiling downstairs to try and see exactly what direction the water was coming from. I was fine with that, but for some reason he was really hesitant. He kept going back and forth up and down the stairs trying to LISTEN for any water movement in my walls. Couldn't hear anything. FInally he went and got his saw to cut into the ceiling cut a very small slit. I didn't understand how he could see anything that way, but he still was on the listening route (apparently still hesitant to butcher my kids' ceiling). He said he wanted to check one more thing before he chopped the ceiling-- he wanted to see my AIR CONDITIONING UNIT on my roof! Huh?? Really?

So we climbed up on my roof with a flashlight and low and behold the roof is WET all around the air conditioning unit. And said unit happens to be directly over my bedroom closet which is where all this madness began. He suspected my air conditioner had a leak or drain pan overflow and suggested I call an HVAC repair dude in the morning. Turns out he was 100% right! Even though I had to pay him, not for fixing the problem, but just to IDENTIFY the problem, it was worth it to finally realize what the F*** was going on. (I just had an HVAC guy clean and adjust my drain pan in the unit and all is cool now)

I recommend Mainline Plumbing for any water/plumbing issues you have, as these guys are honest and considerate of your home (thus his refusal to haphazardly tear up my ceiling just to eliminate one method he could have easily done and I would have been okay with). CHeers, Mainline.

Mainline Plumbing is an excellent company from Rinelle scheduling the appointment to Cesar and his crew doing a perfect job! I am very particular, ask lots of questions and like to watch. Cesar answered all of my questions with much patience. I had clogged area drains which were beyond repair. Cesar and his team installed a sump pump and a new area drain line. It was a difficult job, but not for Cesar. I had received estimates and suggestions for repair from a few other companies, but Cesar had the smartest solution. Please don't hesitate to use Mainline Plumbing & Rooter. I plan to call them yearly to clear my area drains.

Called Mainline Plumbing for a quote on a new water heater. Call went to voice mail and Ranelle called me back within two minutes. She gave me information about the water heater and quoted a fair price. I set up an appointment for a couple of days later. She said she would call that morning to give an arrival time. She did call and Carlos and his partner showed up exactly on time. They worked quietly and efficiently and were done in about two hours. There was some extra work to be done on the installation but Ranelle stuck to the original quote. We also thought a drain line might have needed snaking and asked them to check it. They did and said it was working fine so did not do unnecessary work. I was completely satisfied and would highly recommend them.

Mainline Plumbing is the best. I had a problem and couldn't seem to get a firm answer from anyone on what it might cost, Cesar came out, (smelling good, to boot) and fixed the problem in about half an hour. A very reasonable fee was charged and all was well with the world.

Mainline was so good that I recommended them to my HOA and they've been doing work for the complex, as well.

It's an all around win with Mainline Plumbing! On time, affordable and HONEST! What a novel concept in this day and age.

Can't be more satisfied. We just moved in to an older home, with major plumbing issues. Water was backing up, toilets gurgling, etc. We called Mainline Plumbing and Rooter because we wanted a second opinion. We had a guy come up, give us a quote of $6,000... and a non existent problem. A nightmare.

Ranelle is my savior! She was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent customer service. She was on the phone with me most of the day (and night) giving me live updates of what was happening at our house, since I was at work.

Her husband Cesar was wonderful, he explained and showed us the problems and offered many suggestions that worked and would fit our budget. Clean, organized and hard working - the crew left everything as it was.

My problem was fixed, we saved a lot of money, and most of all, we had proof of the work that was done. No more clogged pipes, etc. Everything is running smoothly and we couldn't be happier. They also service our neighbors which is where I got the number from. A+++++++++++++++++++++

At midnight here in Studio City, a water sprinkler in our backyard is gushing, never mind the drought, and four of us are incapable of finding the shut off valve to the sprinkling system's water supply. I search online for a local plumber and fortunately came up with Mainline. Despite being woken in the middle of the night, Renal was pleasant and helpful. Her husband arrives within a few minutes, finds the shut off valve just as quickly, and the emergency is over. They are definitely our go-to plumber going forward.

I have used a lot of plumbers over the years for my home, my business and my rental property. I have never been able to find one who was CONSISTENTLY good, reliable, clean,and HONEST!!!!! My first call to Ranelle was an emergency broken pipe in my front yard. Within a short time, her men arrived. They had to dig up part of my garden. They were so careful with my landscaping. They tied back some branches that were in the way as to not to break them and tread carefully on the groundscape. ( Every other plumber that had worked in my yard had trampled on my plants and broke branches, leaves, etc. and left dirt and mud everywhere). They detected the problem, shut off the water, left to get parts, returned, repaired the pipe, put my garden back in order, turned the water back on!. They cleaned up all the dirt and mud and did not even break one leaf !! She billed me without knowing me.

The next time, I had a leak in the shower of my rental unit the day my new tenants moved in!. Of course my first call was to Ranelle. She was so honest with me suggesting that I call the plumbing company for the HOA so there would be no conflict. Reluctantly I did. They came out and gave me a very expensive quote saying that they had to beak the huge mirror in the bathroom to get to the wall to open it up to change the stems. Of course they do not repair the wall or replace the mirror. So add on that $$$. I called Ranelle to report their findings and checked with the HOA. Within a couple days her men came out DID NOT have to break the mirror OR open the wall. It was fixed within a few hours for less than half of what they were going to charge me PLUS no contractor needed!! A happy tenant.

Needless to say, I have found my plumber for life. As a single woman, I always feel at the mercy of contractors, mechanics, etc. Not with Mainline Plumbing. Thanx Ranelle.

Our water heater died and started leaking everywhere at 7:30 am on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I was convinced I would be without hot water throughout the holiday weekend until at least Tuesday. But Mainline answered the phone, and 2 hours later they were at my house with a brand new water heater. 3 hours after the old heater broke, new one was installed and hot water was flowing again! On Labor Day weekend! Almost impossible to believe. Mainline was professional, prompt and fairly priced, especially for an emergency fix on a weekend.

I read all the reviews before deciding on Mainline, but unfortunately was extremely disappointed. I think they are really busy, due to their Yelp reviews, but cannot handle the amount of business they get, so be REAL careful if you book them for an emergency, they just may not show up!! I booked them for some major work in my house. Cesar showed up on time, and toured my problems. He was then supposed to followup with a quote prior to leaving on vacation. Quote never came. I waited 2 weeks for him and Renelle, his wife, and co-owner and then quote still never came, even though they had been back from their 2 week vacation for over a week! So, I called, as I gave them another shot. Renelle said she would check with Cesar and get back to me 1-2 days later, and would call me that Thursday night. Well...guess what? No call Thursday night! I gave them ANOTHER chance, again, due to their reviews here. She answered the phone, and said she talked to Cesar, he has been working 14 hour days, and is behind, but forgot about the quote, and didn't remember what I needed done. She said he could come out on Saturday, which was yesterday, and would call me on Saturday morning to let me know. Well...guess what? NO CALL SATURDAY morning. I texted her yesterday (Saturday) afternoon at 2pm and told her I never got a call. She said she had texted me, which she didn't. I then took a photo of my text messages to/from her, to show her text never came, and sent it to her. She then replied that he could come over then, if you could believe it. Well, folks, by that time, I had already given up, after 4 tries to get them to do the work for me. By the way, it was not a small job, and Cesar knew it. He had verbally quoted me about $3200 but I told him I needed it in writing. If they are too busy, and can walk away from my $3200 job, you may want to think about calling them for your sink being clogged, toilet problem, or anything minor. You may just have to wait DAYS or even WEEKS for them to show up or even get back to you. Don't plan on it, unless you want to beg, plead, and then get down on your knees begging them to come back.
Oh, one last thing, Renelle is real nice, She was to me too! She even told me they don't live too far from me, and we are almost neighbors. Got along with her great!
Unfortunately, I wasn't looking for a new friend or neighbor. I needed work done, and ASAP. They are unreliable.....plain and simple!

I found this company on Yelp because of the great reviews and they lived up to their reviews! After waiting 3 days for another company to come out and give us a high quote (and not showing up in the time period that they said they would). Mainline came out rt away and saved us a ton of money. They were honest, straight forward, and installed a higher quality appliance for less.

As a coincidence, it turned out that this was the same company that one of my neighbors had raved about and referred us to a while back but I'd forgotten.

We're happy to finally have a go-to plumber.

I had the pleasure of using Mainline plumbing; they were able to make what usually is a stressful situation, into something almost enjoyable. I called the company very early in the morning - wanting only to leave a message - but, Ranelle answered (charming abet a bit sleepy :) and she was able to squeeze me into the schedule. Not only, was she courteous, but she was knowledgeble and was unfrount about costs. Ceasar came out with his crew and the equipment needed, and efficiently fixed the problem that that the previous franchise Rooter company could not after three trys over three days!

It is nice to know there is an honest, reliable, and plumbing family-run business in the area. Would I recommend them? Of course! I have already called them to set up an appointment for non-urgent repairs that I have put off because I couldn't find a company I could trust. There are three words that describe Mainline - integriety, honesty, and value!

(I made the mistake of originally calling one of the franchise Rooter companies and Mister did I make a mistake - the other Rooter company did not fix my problem after three trys and were only interested in upselling me - selling me services I did not need. The other company was mostly interested in selling me hydroscrubbing for $3,800, saying that my problem was not fixable using rooting snake.)

I've got professional envy! I wish I was as good at my job as Mainline Folks are at theirs! My nightmare morning started with a broken water main jetting water into the front yard. I called DWP, and they turned off the water source at the street, but told me the water main repair was entirely my responsibility, have a nice day, call us if you need the source turned back on.

My wife got on the neighborhood sites and asked who they'd recommend for emergency service, and Mainline was the most recommended. This was about the same time I was finding Mainline on Yelp, with its continuous supply of 5-star reviews.

We called, them and they did not disappoint. Mainline had a team here in a about 20 minutes to get things started, and worked in triple-digit heat until I had a brand new copper water main, pressure regulator, and shut-off in place. Just a quick note: when I moved into this house, there was no pressure regulator. Without one of those, your whole house is subject to all the pressure variations that come off the city mains. When they put in the regulator, it fixed two drippy faucets inside the house, because the pressure had been normalized!

Did I mention they also re-routed the new line away from a bunch of tree roots so I wouldn't have to worry about those roots getting at the new pipe, or the fact that they dug a 30-foot trench without harming the sprinkler lines, and that when they were done, they filled in the trench perfectly, and put all the original grass right back on top where it came from?

I've used Mainline three times after finding them highly recommended by many neighbors on my Nextdoor site. Once was an emergency and they bent over backward to get a crew out right away. Then they did a major job replacing pipes and took care of it exactly as planned/budgeted with excellent clean up. Two nights ago I asked if someone could come out and replace my broken garbage disposal and it was done before lunch the next day. They are wonderful to deal with.

Just as I was falling asleep one night I hear the ominous sound of rushing water. I went downstairs and quickly discovered a major pipe leak in the garage. Panic stricken, I searched Yelp and was lucky enough to call Mainline Plumbing. They responded immediately and arrived quickly to my house. Within short order - and in a most calm and professional manner - they fixed the leak entirely (and for a very reasonable rate despite the emergency call).

I have used Mainline since for non-emergency work and they were equally responsive, professional and helpful. They are the only plumber I would call now and I cannot recommend their services more highly.

Mainline is great! We had a plumbing issue on a Saturday and our home warranty company wouldn't send anyone out until Monday. We had a leak in our ceiling which couldn't wait. Mainline sent someone out immediately and the problem was fixed quickly, professionally and perfectly. Great communication, great customer service, great plumbers. We already use Mainline for plumbing issues at our condo complex and I would highly recommend using Mainline to anyone who asks for a reliable and trustworthy company.

These guys are truly exceptional!!

And let me tell you why....

So - we had our sump pump give up on us. That meant blocked sewage - not able to use toilets/showers etc etc. Understandably not nice.

I called another plumber who came out and:

a: because we live in Beverly Hills, they inflated their quote (which happens a lot when companies see a 90210 zip)

2: this other plumber gave us a ridiculous quote to fix the issue - AND they charged us $250 call out.

I decided to get a 2nd opinion - and called Mainline.

I am SO pleased I did :)

Immediately over the phone Ranelle was very understanding and sympathetic of our situation - and immediately understood that this is something that needs to get fixed asap.

She was also outraged at the quote I had received from the other company - which impressed me immediately.

Ranelle weaved her magic and had a technician come out THE SAME DAY!

This guy was equally great -- diagnosed the issue - explained with no sales-pressure what was needed to fix it (plus he had the very unenvious task of cleaning a blocked sump pump -- which he was excellent about!)

And - he was prepared to go and get all the parts - and come back the same day - to fix everything.

And also -- the quote was a lot lower that the other company.

So - not only was the customer service EXCEPTIONAL -- but the speed and workmanship from Mainline - was second to none.

I want to mention to how HUGELY impressed with Ranelle I am. Ranelle who would text me to let me know the status (as I had to travel at the same time) - and she would text to let me know when the technician would be back at my place -- she send me pictures of the old and new pump.

In these Social Media Days - Customer Service has to be the #1 concern for businesses. Mainline Plumbing (and Ranelle in particular) have mastered this. It really was a true pleasure to deal with these guys -- and I can not thank them enough for all their speed and concern and epic customer service.

If you have any plumbing needs - you won't go wrong with Mainline. And ask for Ranelle!

My husband and I bought a pretty run down townhouse from the 1970s. The owners didn't maintain anything, so it didn't come as a big surprise that the kitchen sink and bathrooms ended up BACKING UP with in a couple months of moving in. First the toilet got clogged and then when we ran the shower, the water wouldnt drain. I called Mainline early in the morning and they were there by the evening. They had a big job to do so I understood they couldn't come right away. The guys were really nice and didn't try to up sell me on more services then i needed. They snaked my toilet, shower and kitchen sink. Everything is working fine now and the bill seemed reasonable, but I don't really have a good gauge on what these things are suppose to cost. I'd call them again in a heartbeat.

My tankless water heater stopped working all of a sudden. It was black Friday and hardly anyone was around. I called a couple different plumbers and Renel from Mainline actually helped me troubleshoot the problem over the phone FREE OF CHARGE!!! Turns out my kids tripped the earthquake shut off valve to the gas line. I had another plumber on the other line wanting to charge me $350.00 to service my unit. What more can I say than that?! They are at the top of my list for sure!

Best most reliable plumbing service that I've used! I live in an apt building with constant plumbing issues. I was out of town and my sink started over flowing. I called just about every service in the area and got the same response , we'll call you back in 15, only to hear from most of them more then 24 hours later. Ranelle and her plumbing crew are awesome! During our family preparing to move out of state, we experienced a few unexpected plumbing issues that needed repair before we moved. I called Mainline back in 2012 when our hot water heater went out. Cesar and his crew came out the very next day and installed an excellent hot water heater and did an amazing job. Fast forward to two nights ago when our kitchen sink backed up. Oh that was pretty. Not. We actually tried to snake it ourselves and when that didn't work, we called Mainline at 9:30 at night. Ranelle (who is awesome) answered and told me she could have a crew at the house at 8:40am. And at 8:40 am, they came, they found the problem which included wrenching off a painted over/stuccoed drain clean out cap, replacing a rotting pipe, installing a new cap and then made sure everything under the sink was fixed (no leaks) before they left. Seriously, I won't use any other plumber.

I had roots growing into the... You guessed it .... main line! So I researched plumbers on Yelp and had Mainline unclog it. Instead of replacing the pipe, I opted for a water pressure thingie they do to clear roots and I have nothing but praise for this business, its owners, and employees. Yep, I agree, they deserve the five star yelp rating which I thought would be unheard of for a plumbing outfit. This company is genuinely interested in helping solve plumbing situations at a fair price rather than ripping off those less knowledgeable of plumbing problems and solutions.

I'm familiar with both commercial and residential plumbing and after only one issue in which I was out of town and needed to contact Mainline I'm completely sold on their credibility to provide value and will be using them whenever the need arises. I believe they deserve every bit of their five star rating and I'm one of those people who's normally somewhat critical of these type of service providers. I found a deal for another company on Living Social, but there was something fishy about when I called them. I decided to go to Yelp to see who others had used and I am so glad I listened to the other reviewers for Mainline. They are honest, and quick. They are a little family owned company and they came quickly, did the job, diagnosed the problem and didn't try to upsell me more services.

Great service.

First time Cesar came over, he looked at what we thought was the problem and since not much was wrong (he relit the pilot light on the water heater) he left without charging us.

He did say that, if that wasn't sufficient to solve the problem, he would have to replace a part. Lo and behold, next day he had to come back. He swung by same day and replaced the part right away.

Now everything works and an invoice should be on its way!

Will also add that Cesar's wife Raynelle, who seems to be the Office Manager, was friendly and helpful throughout, updating me with phone calls and texts as needed.

All in all, very friendly, efficient, and non-money-hungry people. Cesar is now our plumber : )

I have been using Mainline Plumbing for years, from one house to the next, and can say with assurance say I'd never call another plumber. Ranelle and Cesar are prompt, efficient, and fair...and most importantly they fix whatever the problem is every time. When it's an emergency situation they send someone out immediately. All the guys that work for them are incredibly polite. Their prices are competitive (and often better- they have beaten out contractors that have been working on big projects at our home and done a better, more thorough job).

I spoke to Ranelle last week Tues (8/27) she told me they had put my project on schedule for 9/4 after the holiday. Fare enough. I get an email notification that my project was pushed back and put on schedule for 9/5. Today (9/5) I get an email stating I'm sorry, I'm not going to bore you with what's going on, but we're going to have to pass on this. A project due to end yesterday didn't. I'm behind on so many jobs. If we were a bit closer I'd run over but that isn't the case. She was very nice about it... what I don't understand; they put my project on a so called schedule twice 9/4 & 9/5. why didn't they follow the schedule?

In our 26 years living in the hills we've, unfortunately, experienced way too many water problems, both inside the house & out. We've worked with other plumbers, but not until a friend referred us to Mainline have we ever felt the security of knowing there was someone we could consistently depend upon to pick up the phone, even at night or on a Sunday, and deal with the problem, whatever it takes. In the last few years, Caesar's done everything from installing a water heater to dealing with a sewage situation. He's smart and honest and his prices are fair.

Ranelle, the powerhouse behind the company (as well as her husband Caesar) is a powerhouse in and of herself. I call her my personal Angie's List because she has the best recommendations. The venders she's referred us to are all as competent, down-to-earth, honest and fairly priced as Mainline.

I so highly recommend them that most of our neighbors are now Mainline clients.

Very professional and very honest. I had to be taken advantage of by 3 plumbers prior to calling mainline plumbing. They were referred by neighbors on the next door app. I called their office and felt comfortable from the first moment. They were not pushy. They did not try to sell me additional services (like most people these days). The owner came and Checked the problem. Snaked my drain. Checked it with a camera (at no extra cost). Showed me exactly where the problem is. He was honest enough to tell me that hydrojetting will solve the problem temporarily, but did not push me to do it or scared me that if I don't do it, it will become a mess. A plumber before them came out and tried to get me to hydrojet the line for $1,550.00 and was pushing me to do it on the spot as it was according to him an absolute emergency. Main line plumbing deserves every single review!!! I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if needed. (Hopefully not )

It is rare you find any company that has outstanding customer service, incredibly reasonable prices and amazing technicians. Mainline Plumbing has them all! I have been using them for many years and even if I don't call for a while, as soon as I do, Ranelle greets me like an old friend. She even remembers my phone number and sometimes answers Hi Tracey before I say a word. That makes anyone feel confident. But, most importantly, their service is superb! They have shown up on Thanksgiving when too many potato skins clogged the drain - or on a Sunday because our toilet backed up and company was due. Everyone has emergencies and if her guys are already out on a job, Ranelle will work hard to figure out how to get someone at your place as soon as possible. I would highly recommend Mainline Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. We have lived in our home for almost 45 years and I have tried dozens of companies until I found Mainline Plumbing. I have never been disappointed with their response time, their performance and their very fair prices. I don't think you will either. Give them a call - trust me - you'll be so glad you did!

This is an example of how helpful Yelp can be. I've had the same problem with roots in my plumbing pipes for years, and have called a number of plumbing companies to deal with it. After seeing all the positive reviews on Yelp for Mainline Plumbing and Rooter, I decided to call them, and for the first time, I feel like the job has been done properly. They were prompt, courteous, honest and, unlike all the previous plumbers who've worked on the problem, did a great job of showing me the problem, explaining what had to be done, and explaining what I need to do in the future to keep it from getting out of hand again. Situation: plumbing backup from all the bathrooms with lots of unmentionables coming up in the downstairs tub. It was midnight sunday of a three day weekend. We called Mainline and Cesar's wife answered the phone she was very nice and he arrived in less than an hour of our call. Somewhere along the way, human beings were convinced there wasn't enough. As a result people operate on a do it to them before they do it to you mentality. It's an incredibly dishonest world. As we all know plumbing can be the WORST example of an industry that takes advantage of naivete. I had a plumbing problem where of course I was given obscenely expensive bids. My wife is pregnant with twins about to pop, I have a full throttle 3 year girl and ZERO ZERO ZERO expendable income. Renelle and Mainline plumbing may as well have been wearing superhero capes as they came in with a completely different take on the situation and were able to fix the problem for a fraction of what the other companies quoted. I literally have a little more faith in humanity and wish the rest of the world operated on a frequency of MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE. Mainline may have made a fraction of what others would have made for this job but guess what, I will refer them business for the rest of my life and use them probably until I die; so who wins? They were not too busy to deal with our back to back emergencies. We rented a house that has many problems...but they were called to fix the water heater and then remedy a very disgusting sewer line back up. They responded on a Sat night to do an emergency re-routing of a broken valve that was flooding our subterranean garage, then worked Sunday, Monday, Tues......to deal with the other major issues. Pleasant and well equipt. Perhaps they prioritize the jobs based on the level of the emergency. They pulled out a giant root they suspected was 30 years in the making. Thanks!!!

As a business owner and real estate owner, nothing is more valuable to me than time and GREAT, trustworthy relationships. Simply put, and I DO NOT say this lightly... Ranelle and Cesar are AMAZING. I had a pipe burst at my property. Cesar arrived within 60 minutes assisted me greatly, then (they probably don't want me to write this) did NOT charge me for the visit. (They have made plenty of money on me since). Ranelle is always personable and professional and most importantly, took care of me. Literally on that one because I needed a hug after what a nightmare it had been. Then, on the same property, another issue (less critical). Cesar came out, same day, and fixed the issue. Nuff said. Mainline is where you need to be. They are professional, personable, and very fairly priced. Most importantly, Mainline is a company, and I say this now from multiple experiences with them, you can trust and rely on. Is there anything worse than a back up in the kitchen sink on a Sunday afternoon? Trying to find a plumber whose willing to come out and fix it! Reading through other yelp reviews, Mainline Plumbing seemed responsive, so I called and yes! Ranelle answered promptly. And yes they could come out that day! While I had to wait for a couple of other calls ahead of me, Ranelle called me back to provide a status and when she said her husband would be there at 4, he was! Cesar was quick with the snake and soon my drain was clear and Cesar was on his way.

While he pointed out that my plumbing under the kitchen sink was installed backwards, he did not try to sell me un-needed services and that was very appreciated as well!

I want to say I will have these folks on speed dial, but frankly I hope I don't need to call again anytime soon.

But if you need a plumber, you should call them!

What an honest team. I got a quote from another plumber telling me my main line needs to be redone, trenchless, for about $3000 due to tree roots blockage!!!. By chance I called Mainline Plumbing and Ranelle answered the phone, she was thorough, compassionate and offered to examine the pipes as she was not sure about the previous assessment based on my explanation of the situation. Cesar (sp?) showed up as soon as he could and used a camera, inspected all the pipes all the way through and showed me on video that there is nothing wrong with the pipes and no roots blocking them. The problem turned out to be the normal blocage cleared out by snaking it. He was polite, professional and a great man while someone else was about to clean me out of $3k! I highly recommend Mainline Plumbing and already have told my friends about them. Thank you for once again showing me the courtesy and honesty that once was expected of professionals like you. I never write reviews, never. But these guys deserve a great review. My 88 year old mother in law needed a rooter and called mike diamond they told her she needed a hydro jet for the roots in the sewer pipe and it would be $1600 and she would have to do it every year. I called these guys and Caesar's wife called me back in minutes from the doctor's office (talk about prompt).
They did the job for less than 1/3 the price the next day. Guaranteed the job for a year and said it wouldn't come back for 3 years or more. Cleaned up everything. I am more than impressed. Will call them every time. Great plumbers and more importantly, great people.

Professional and top notch service. Mainline will always be my first call for all plumbing needs. We had a pipe break, of course on a Sunday, and Mainline was out to fix the pipe in the bathroom the same day. Cesar and his crew were very professional and left my bathroom cleaner then when they arrived! They even brought a mat for my foyer and everyone wiped their feet before entering the house. The price estimate we received on the phone after sending some pictures was a very accurate and reasonable estimate for the work performed. I had a nightmare with another plumbing company that basically charged me 120 dollars for an emergency visit that they couldn't handle for 20 hours... then I found the reviews on yelp here, and yes. They are the real deal here.

I called these guys and one of the plumbers wife answered the phone and was great. This is a family run business for real. They assured me they live close and will send the guys right over. About 15 mins later, I get a call they're here, and they were able to fix a small burst pipe in about 15 mins.

Will use them for every single plumbing need I have in future.

It would be hard to write a better review than I would like to write. I had an outage over the weekend and talked to Mainline Plumbing at about 9am Sunday. They promised to be at my house in an hour and fix the problem. At 10am, right on the dot, two people from Mainline were at my house. They worked hard at the problem, explained what they were doing and got it fixed, all in a short time. The plumbers were nice and efficient.

I've always used Cesar for all of my plumbing, and have recommended him to several friends who are also now loyal customers. I have an old house, and Cesar has helped us modernize with a tankless water heater, as well as fixed several smaller problems that have cropped up over the years. On several occasions he has gone the extra mile, and on one of those occasions he discovered several feet of collapsed pipe which we would not otherwise have discovered until the sewage began to back up. He replaced the pipe right away, for a great price, and saved us a huge headache (not to mention the cost of cleaning up sewage!) Wow! Fantastic! I had a pipe blockage somewhere really deep and scary that no one could figure out. Some other folks wanted to break down my walls and start ripping the house apart. I cant say enough about how great Cesar and Ranelle have been. I manage two properties from out of the country. WIthin a month they have worked on both of them, clearing a main line where another company said I would have to dig up the sewer line, repairing a hot water heater that had and and snaking two other lines. Mainline Plumbing did a great job replacing my (only) 3 year old water heater. They went out of their way to find a heater that satisfied the warranty, and even took the old one back at 9 pm to get my refund. And, I got the full refund, not just a partial on the warranty. The work they did was great and affordable but it was SUCH a hassle to actually get them out to my boss's house. Would never give me a set time and when they did, wouldn't commit to it. Would say they'd call me right back, never did. When I called the lady out on it, she denied it, was rude, and then made excuses. They obviously just didn't want our business very much and would make excuses for why it happened, countless times, and my boss is an extremely busy guy and needs a set time for everything and when they didn't get back to me, they called him directly which he did not want. He doesn't have time to deal with people in general not to mention unprofessional people and that's why I do it for him, haha, so then I was kept out of the loop by the plumbing company and it was all just a big mess. Needless to say, we used them twice (2nd time was worse) so we will not be using them again and would advise you not to either!

Ranelle and her team are the greatest. For whatever reason the plumbing gods have decided that all of my plumbing problems will arise after hours, on weekends or during holidays. Without fail Ranelle has always been able to get one of the mainline guys over to my house and get whatever needs fixing fixed in a quick, professional and courteous manner. I've got a 75 year old house and have had to call them at least 5 times in as many years and have had nothing but great results each time. Called on a tuesday evening around 9pm. Showed up at 10.30pm, my main line between kitchen sink and the washer was completely cloaked, so no working washer, dishwasher or kitchen sink working and had a big meeting at my house the next day at noon so was in a tough situation. The plumber was extremely easy going, laid back and had a great vibe. I'm a first time house owner so naturally had a lot of questions which he gladly answered without any attitude. he had to snake a couple of times since it was really bad, I would say he stayed for atleast an hour, the quote I got of $150 before he came was the exact same when I recieved the invoice in the mail 4-5 business days later. Crazy to use anyone else! I first hired Cesar last year for a leak in my old house in WeHo based on Yelp reviews and he is the only plumber I have used since. Very honest, great service and good prices. Mainline saved me $5k. I had a sewer backup and had two plumbers come over and said I needed to replace the pipes at a cost of 6k. Cesar came over for a 3rd opinion for free, showed me with a camera insides my pipes and proved that all I really needed was hydro jetting. Total cost for my size of pipes was $700 which is a good price for that specific service. 5k savings in my pocket. I'm so thankful for Mainline's honesty.

In escrow on a house and our initial inspection revealed sewer line issues and a video inspection was recommended. I called Ranelle and she was great to deal with, they were able to schedule an inspection for the next day.

During the inspection Cesar walked me through the system as they went through it showing me all of the issues that needed attention. Walked away with two dvd's of the lines from the cleanouts to the city service lines.

Got a report and quotes on other plumbing issues in the house the next morning from Ranelle. Can't recommend them enough! Will use them for repairs once we close on the house!

Over the years, I have called Mainline Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs. They are always AMAZING. Years ago when we bought our first house, our warranty company sent out a plumber who gave us a very high estimate for a problem we were having with the main line. Suspicious, we contacted Cesar at Mainline (recommended through a friend) and he came and took care of it for a FRACTION of the price. We were able to get the warranty company to pay for it even though he was not a contracted plumber because there was so much of a price difference (they quoted us $5,000 and Cesar did it for $700!). The people at Mainline are honest, efficient and always incredibly polite. I have recommended them to so many people over the years, and everyone I have sent to them has also just sent back glowing reviews. So glad the other two plumbers I called couldn't make it out same day. Mainline was great. They replaced my ancient water heater in under an hour. They came at about 7pm, which was great with me. I drove in from Austin, TX around 7pm to my friends' place in Sherman Oaks on Wednesday, March 20. He was under the sink fighting a nasty leak. With his permission I searched Yelp for a nearby plumber with high ratings. Ranelle, the owner's wife, answered and said all her plumbers were out on calls and she might not be able to get someone there that night. I asked her to try as the water would be off until it was fixed. She called back in under 20 minutes to say she was sending someone over. Cesar showed up about 30 minutes later. He and his helper worked for nearly two hours but got the job done. They left without payment saying Ranelle would call us tomorrow for billing info. When the bill showed up it was very reasonable. Labor Day 2012. After waiting over two hours to get a response from the property manager for my apartment, I knew had to take matters into my own hands. My furious plunging and generous use of drain opener only frustrated me more with each fruitless thrust. I used google maps to find Mainline Plumbing. I figured it was a long shot that the phone would be answered, it was 7:00 in the evening on Labor Day after all. I called the number and the phone was answered immediately. I described my situation and they were at my door in less than thirty minutes. Less than thirty minutes after that, all was well and my plumbing problems were solved. Mainline's customer service, promptness, and cleanliness are by far the best I have ever experienced. Not from plumbing companies alone, but from any company. I called this company to unstick a gas pipe so I could install a new range. Ranelle was very pleasant to deal with and set up an appointment for Cesar to come by and help me out. Cesar was very prompt and professional. He ended up replacing an old valve and did it quickly and cleanly. I feel like finding a good plumber is generally very tough. In my experience, most companies are not very responsive, and the run around makes it hard to ensure you're making a good decision. Mainline is not just a great plumbing and rooter company--it's a great company all around. Ranelle is extremely responsive (I sent an inquiry email at 7:45 and got a call back by 8:30), and flexible. She is a no-pressure saleswoman, and wants you to make the best decision for you. I needed to get a big job done, and she did everything to make sure I understood the job, and told me to take my time to think about it. The crew (led by her husband Cesar) is professional and quick. They arrived on time and left on time, and were very professional. I tried to get competitive quotes, but one other company didn't return my email, and another one disappeared after my questions got to specific. That being said, I can't comment on Mainline's price competitiveness, but even if I paid a little more, it'd be worth every cent.

Ranelle squeezed us in on the same day and they could not be easier to work with. Plus their hydrojetting comes with a year warranty. Problem solved, good service found.

I always preface my reviews with the fact that I am a tradesman of 30 years and worked at my father's shop that has been in business for 85 years.I know the difference between good companies and ones that are not knowledgible or want to rip you off. Mainline is a quality plumbing company with reasonable rates and you can't go wrong with that.

Wake up Sunday morning to a broken water heater AND raw sewage in our backyard. In a complete panic our first and only call was to Mainline. Ranelle was amazing on the phone and within 20 minutes Cesar was at our house WITH the part to fix the hot water. The sewage backup was cleared shortly after. Our Sunday was saved! I cannot say enough good things about Mainline Plumbing.

Based on other Yelp reviews, we recently called Mainline to clear our clogged mainline. After a description given over the phone, they gave a bid and scheduled a time. They arrived, ran the camera through, showed me the clog inside the pipe and then went to work clearing it out. The job was done quickly and efficiently. When using a service for the first time, you never know what to expect, but these guys were really great and friendly! They didn't try to sell us additional (unnecessary) services and stuck to their original bid. We will definitely call them again when we need plumbing services.

Had a problem that another plummer could not fix. Cesar came proved what all the other postive reviews said is true. He did a great job. Ranelle is very responsive too. I will definatly use them if I have a problem again. So glad to have found them!

Wow, our emergency call was answered within 2 rings. I spoke to Ranelle who calmed me down and had a crew at our house within the hour. The equipment used was state of the art and we had a working system within a half hour. We were given longterm options that were workable. A great find for us.

Cesar really impressed me as an honest guy who was really there to help. We had a problem that should have been taken care of a year ago after having spent a fortune with another plumber. When the problem came back I called Roto-Rooter who charged me several hundred dollars just to tell me I had a problem, but not actually do anything about it. Cesar came out and spent at least an hour diagnosing my problem and didn't stick me with a ridiculous fee for doing so. I will absolutely be calling him back the next time we have a plumbing issue.

Cesar and his crew just left. They were over here within the hour and fixed my water problem in less than half an hour. Looks great, and works great. Highly recommend them.

Mainline is simply fantastic. I discovered them on Yelp a couple of months ago and have used them three times and each time their service and worksmanship have been stellar. Most recently, I asked them to evaluate a longterm faucet leak in a bathroom sink that was part of a his and her matched set. Other plumbers had tried to fix the leak unsuccessfully. Ranelle explained that Mainline generally doesn't try to repair leaky faucets because the repairs usually don't hold up over time and she doesn't want customers becoming upset. So she went on an Internet tear to try to find faucets of similar appearance (which matched other decor in the bathroom) and eventually found the closest replacement possible. Unfortunately, the supplier's price was $750 per faucet, so I was looking at $1,500 in parts just because of an annoying leak. I asked Ranelle to reconsider her policy against trying to repair a faucet and explained it was worth it to me to invest a couple of hundred dollars to try to avoid an almost $2,000 expense. She agreed, but said she'd send only Cesar (her husband) because of his expertise and experience. Cesar was out of the country at the time, but immediately after his return he came to the house and looked things over. He then went on an odyssey across Los Angeles in search of an obscure part. He found it and bought three of them--he completely repaired the leak in the faucet that had dripped for two years, replaced the same part in the matching sink, and left an extra one for the future if the part were ever to give out again. These folks CARE about their customers, take ENORMOUS PRIDE in their work, strategize how to SAVE MONEY, perform STELLAR WORK and are as FRIENDLY AND COLLEGIAL as you could ever find in a service business. Yes, they're very busy (understandably), but you'd be nuts to use anyone else. By the way, the first time I used them was due to a minor emergency, and they came and fixed the problem immediately, even though I was a brand new customer who had never called them previously and it was a relatively small job (replacing a garbage disposal).

An actual honest plumber! I had been quoted by a different plumbing company and they told me I needed thousands of dollars of work done. Cesar from Mainline Plumbing came out and even though he could've told me the same thing he was actually honest and the job cost pennies in comparison. He showed up when he said he would, completed the job on time and at the original cost he had quoted. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a honest plumber.

we called mainline when we had a serious backup. the wife answered the phone, listened to our issue + asked smart questions (she knows what she's talking about), and then rerouted her husband's day to start with us first. we are so grateful that caesar came, arrived quickly, fixed the problem, and then talked us through what went wrong and how to avoid it in the future. he didn't even bill us...his wife mailed a bill to us a week later.

these people are the real deal...honest, hard-working, intelligent.

Of course you need a plumber after hours, on a Sunday night. Thank goodness for Mainline! Called 3 or 4 plumbers before I talked to Ranelle. She really helped me out and had her hubby Cesar and his assistant there in less than an hour. They persevered until the job was done. The charge was their regular daily rate, not the emergency fee others add to the bill. I highly recommend this mom and pop company.

I spoke with Mainline Plumbing and scheduled for this morning - they were prompt and kept me apprised of arrival time. Unfortunately, I had emailed another company before I spoke with Mainline and they showed up first! I didn't realize this until the work was done! It was a big mix-up and Mainline did not do the work, but I wanted to acknowledge their great customer service and I am sure the work would have been excellent! Again, my apologies to Mainline for the mix-up today.

We have used Mainline twice within a month after they were referred to us by a friend and we were pleased both times. The first repair was a water heater replacement. We were able to get a same day appointment and the replacement was done promptly once they arrived. A few weeks later, on a Sunday morning, we thought we were having an issue with the new water heater as it was squealing like a siren and leaking from above. We called Mainline and they were able to squeeze us in within two hours of the call. It turns out that a pressure regulator outside our house that limits the water pressure coming in from the street had failed, causing extremely high water pressure to our home. The leak above the water heater was not from the water heater itself, but instead from an old water meter that was still mounted above it. They found that the pressure was more than double what it should have been. It turns out that replacing that pressure regulator has resolved several other issues we were having in the house for months prior (squealing toilets, dripping faucets etc.). Both of these visits were scheduled quickly, the jobs were done efficiently, and everyone from Mainline has been pleasant to work with. We would highly recommend.

Our water heater went when I was 8 1/2 months pregnant. I knew we needed it repaired asap but was very concerned about finding an honest and fair company to do the job. Well thanks Yelpers! And thank you MPR. After reading the reviews then speaking with Ranelle at MPR, I felt confident we found the right company and we did indeed. Sure enough, the day of the install my water broke so our friends met Caesar and his team for the job. They installed it quickly and effeciently for exactly the price quoted which, after researching, was a fair and competitive price. It was so nice not to have to worry about getting ripped off or having your house destroyed during the process. Thank you Ranelle and Caesar for providing what every business SHOULD want to provid-, fair, competent, quality services and products with a friendly and happy attitude. No doubt, if I have any plumbing issues again, I'll be using MPR.
