Mike is a rock solid human and an incredible wood worker. We recently purchased a 1986 home and the kitchen island butcher block was destroyed from 36 years of abuse. Today - it looks brand new thanks to Mike and AZ Woodworks. Thanks Mike for brining our island back to life. We are thrilled!

We recently built a contemporary custom home. Unfortunately, our Builder switched out the original custom cabinet builders to put more money in his pocket with some inexperienced cabinet builders.   At the end of the day we have to redo all of our cabinets. We heard about Wonders of Wood from a friend that recently had their kitchen remodeled. Their kitchen is  now gorgeous and it only took a very short time from start to finish. Graeme and Jeff are perfectionists and were able to complete the work in a couple of days. Our kitchen island looks incredible just the way we envisioned it originally, when we designed our home. I had a badly warped wooden entry door that let air in around the edges and was difficult to close and lock after 20 years of usage. Dov did great work that allowed me to keep the door, which I very much  wanted to do because the inside matched my décor and the outside had been made rustic by me and decorated with black iron accents. He made the door very usable again. He made a number of adjustments. I am so pleased with his work. And I must state that he is a true gentleman and professional and has honesty and other personable traits that made it a great pleasure to have his services. Alonzo was great. I had a cabinet door that was broken, and the manufacturer had discontinued them.
He rebuilt and reinstalled the door perfectly you can't even tell it was broken.

Simply, the best I've worked with. Brings great attitude and energy, he also considers you as a client foremost.  I couldn't get anyone to work on my exterior door without having to buy a whole new door, because other guys don't have the skill or the willingness to do the actual carpentry work.  Jason is fantastic, it was energizing to me to see a master craftsman at work, I can't rate him highly enough.

Jeremy was very professional.  His work is impeccable.  I'm super picky and he even impressed me which is difficult to do when it comes to home improvement projects I've done in the past.  He showed up for the job on-time and didn't ask for payment until every last detail was done to my satisfaction.  I couldn't be happier and can easily recommend him for any job.

Chris is a true artist, and has crazy good skills. He's a joy and a pleasure to work with. He's professional, responsive and attentive. Give him the space to create and be creative, you won't be disappointed. He will listen and make sure you're getting what you want, but trust him and his knowledge and let him run with it! We are so happy with our kitchen table. It's a true art/conversation piece. I highly recommend him. Joel and his team absolutely blew away all of our expectations! We had AZ Studs knock down walls, enclose our patio, add even more square footage, and that was just the first time we used them for a job. I also have to add that he came in at much more affordable than the other two quotes we received, and I would be willing to bet the workmanship was better than anyone else could have done! Since then I have called Joel for numerous handy man tasks, and he has come through for me on all of them. If you have a big job or a little job, Call AZ Studs!

We had some damage to our back gate - Joel fixed several boards, re-stained them and put user-friendly latches on both doors. Joel was absolutely wonderful to work with - fast response, a great communicator, even sent me video of the work he did (we live down in Phoenix and rent the house). Pricing was very reasonable - I would work with him again in a heartbeat! Thank you Joel!!

Jon at GCS Woodworks provides great service and completes projects well.  He repaired a side gate at my home, which I need to have secure due to the pool in the backyard.    Jon was punctual, completed the repairs as scheduled, and was really courteous and polite.    Out of the several quotes I received from various companies, Jon took the time to explain the repairs needed, answered all my questions, and reviewed the gate.  He is knowledgeable and courteous.   I would definitely call him again for future projects.
Mesa, AZ - June 2022

I had a great experience working with Marilyn and Gil to make custom stair nosing for my home.  I had purchased a solid bamboo flooring, but the manufacturer did not make stair nosing in this product.

I was recommended to Contact Classic Millworks and met with Marilyn the same day.  She was able to make me a prototype by the next day in order to keep my project on track.  

Gil crafted the nosing for my project and was very personable while discussing my project and sharing advice for completing it.

Overall, this is a great family owned and operated business and I highly recommend them.

Jason was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. My coffee table is a masterpiece and I am so happy with the final product. 5 stars!!!!

I contacted Jaime at Jag Home Services after another handyman in Ahwatukee last minute was not able to perform the work and the replacement person failed to schedule. But let me tell you, I am so glad. I have now found a reasonable, reliable, communicative handyman that is also licensed, bonded and insured. My immediate need was to have two hanging garage storage. I will def be contacting Jaime for other jobs!
