I recently bought a new place that had a variety of smaller issues that needed to be fixed before it felt totally livable.  Clayton was able to help fix all of them- he was able to fix the track on a broken sliding door, tightened some of the plumbing features, and checked that everything in the bathroom was water tight. I highly recommend Clayton and his services!

Gilbert, from Royal Construction Services, was great to work with. He helped me replace 3 wood porch and carport posts at my older home.  Unlike the old posts, the new posts have been installed on post bases, which should help keep them dry and secure for years to come. Gilbert was fast, flexible and affordable.

He charged $300 for a $20 repair and quoted me nearly $4500 to install tile when a reputable tile company quoted $1700

Wish I could give 10 stars.  Ed did a wonderful job repairing a few holes in the drywall.   He showed up on time , did exactly what we wanted and the wall now looks fabulous.  We certainly hire again again if we had anything else done around the house.

I want to share a big THANK YOU to Jeff for fixing my sliding door! Since I moved in a few months ago, it continued to get worse to the point it wouldn't lock or even close all the way. He was very responsive, came out ASAP, and finished very timely. I have plenty of other house projects on my list for 2022 and will definitely be calling Jeff to help.

Jason helped me out big time.  I came home on a Friday to discover that my garage door wasn't closing and was so crooked it was bending the track that the wheels ran along.  Jason and I had just finished talking about how he could help a client of mine and he came highly recommended by someone who has regularly connected me with great people, so I figured I would give him a try.  Jason proceeded to come over at 8 pm on a Friday night to fix my original problem then follow that up with a 7:30 am start to replace my garage door opener on Saturday morning.  Jason was professional, affordable, and most impressive he dropped what he was doing to come and help me so I wouldn't have to miss valuable time during the work week.  Thanks again for all of your help Jason.

Seriously........they took 12 days to even respond.

Just had bonded and licensed electricians out to determine why there are issues with everything Eddie touched.

Found fire hazards, shock hazards, complete disregard for any and all electrical codes.

I am horrified.

I'd like to give this business a positive review, but since they don't return calls or respond to messages, it's 1 star.

An incredibly rude company.

I contacted them about an outside grout job
ALL of our communication was businesslike and polite
I sent a kid, Brian Meyers, pictures of the job needing to be done.
He gave me an estimate of $250-$300 which seemed about right, based on other bids I'd received.
After we went back and forth on the day they could do the work, he decided he wanted his guy to come out and look at it in person.
I had no problem with that, the guy came out and next thing I know Meyers sent me a quote for $595.

I emailed back, asked politely what happened to change things.
My email: "What happened for this to go from $250-$300 to $595 now?"

Next thing I know I got an email back saying this: "but do to your general attitude we are going to pass on the project"

If the job was too small or outside their area of comfort, he could have just said so but instead he blamed me. A completely unprofessional, juvenile, arrogant and amateurish reply and at this point I wouldn't hire Fix It Floyd to take my garbage out.

BTW, I hired someone else and they did a spectacular job for $250.
2 hours work. $125/hour. If you need a handyman, contact me and I'll give you their info. I've used him twice now and his work has been perfect and he's and highly professional.

Bottom line:
Find someone who knows how to interact with customers in a respectful manner. No one deserves to be treated badly for trying to do biz with them.

UPDATE: Myers just called me and left a voice mail message asking me to call back so we could work things out. I did, because I thought the message was from his boss. Turned out it was from
Myers again.

He doubled down on blaming me, saying I'd wasted his time because I had competitive bids. Funny, if he hadn't been such a jerk and didn't try to screw me with his bid, I'd have given him the job. There was other work we talked about doing on my outdoor fireplace and a bunch of other projects as well.

I don't know how old this kid is, sounds like maybe late 20s or so, but he is extremely unskilled in dealing with people. Defensive, insulting and arrogant.

Cris is an excellent handyman. Specifically:

-He showed up exactly on time for each of his four visits.
-He will stop and patiently answer questions and then get right back to it.
-He notices items you might initially miss, very helpful especially if you are moving into a former rental where damages may be hidden.  
-Over the course of four weekly visits, he would think about what my home might need. He then would then ask via text if he should pick it up if he could.
- For what it is worth, he is a cool guy and I liked him.

We had hired Miguel before to get some work done and we knew he was very professional and reliable. We needed to get some repairs done ASAP due to damage caused during moving our as our house was listed for sale. Miguel was not only prompt but also did a great job at restoring the wall damage and some other drywall repairs. The place looks spotless. Would highly recommend !!

I reached out to this Company to request a quote for a few projects that I need done around my house. They responded to my inquiry by saying 'you are spam. Goodbye.' I'm a real human and House Doctors is apparently not interested in helping people. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I'm truly dumbfounded.

NO INTEGRITY, DO NOT TRUST THIS "ARMY RESERVE" handyman.

We contacted Jesse to help us replace the door jamb after forced entry by EMS due to an emergency.

He took about 8 hours to do a decent job (or so we thought) and the service didn't include painting the strip of wood.

Days later, the jamb split from a weak point(as seen in the pictures) from over-chiseling the deadbolt and thinking caulk patch would hold..

Mind you at this point our door lock would no longer close as the plate could no longer stay in place.

So we contacted him giving the opportunity to make it right and he was keen to respond that he would be there the next day.

Next day came around and he let us know that he would not be available for the next week due to other commitments.

Monday - unresponsive

Tuesday - called us rude after asking him to have some integrity to  own up to the mistake and said it was not in his priority to come do it for free, immediately blocked our number.

Look at the before and after pictures and decide for yourself.

This guy is a joke. Goes around scamming people, tell you he is licensed (inquired and he is not).  Takes your money and runs. The time he may show up, he messes up really bad. 5,000 to fix the mess he made because he did everything wrong and could have burnt the house down. Beware. Everything he says is a LIE.
