I originally met John via Amazon as I had ordered an exercise bike and purchased the "assembly" along with the bike.

We needed to install the patio blinds so I sent a quote request on Yelp. Richard responded quickly and his quote was very reasonable. I usually go with 4stars and up businesses on Yelp, but I was impressed with Richard's responsiveness so I decided to go with him. I'm glad I did! He was very communicative, ended up arriving earlier than expected but made sure to let me know 1st, rather than just showing up at my house. He installed the blinds perfectly and quicker than expected. He did such a great job! My boyfriend and I are so happy with his work. Definitely recommend Richard! Amazing!  We had a toilet that needed to be put back in after our tile was replaced.   The person that installed the tile said to call a plumber.  I have American Home Shield as a home warranty company.  The plumber they sent out said we needed to get new sub flooring in order for them to replace it.  After checking and sharing pictures with a friend who is a contractor he said that isn't true and to call a handyman.  My friend recommended Kerry and The Handyman Next Door.

James came out and got it installed back right away.  Fast, efficient, and knowledgeable.  Very friendly and courteous.  Will definitely use TJ em again if we ever need services.   They do charge a 2 hour minimum but I didn't mind paying that even though he was here shorter as the service was worth it.

We had to have the drain system in our home replaced due to breakage (it was cast iron). We understood from the onset that it would require ripping out our bathroom. We hired a plumbing company to jackhammer the slab and take care of it. But we still needed to have our bathroom put back. Enter Vlad. From the onset it was not a small job, as you can see from the photos. Vlad was undaunted and let us know exactly what he could do for us. He made suggestions and recommendations that helped us pick out our new materials. Older homes like ours can always pose challenges and that was definitely the case here. But Vlad worked diligently until everything was completed. We couldn't be happier with our new bathroom! We would absolutely hire Vlad again for any of our contractor needs!

We converted our laundry room into a home office and had to move the laundry room hook ups into the garage.  Basil was the perfect person to do it!  It started with great communication and followup.  The price was in range for this work I thought.  Basil was so nice and professional that I did not get another quote. The work was done perfectly and made it look like we had the hook ups in the garage the whole time.  Everything functions and works just like it should.  Now I have dual hooks in my house for a laundry room or an office.

Truly a phenomenal handyman. Was very responsive. Had an emergency for a short term rental that came up at 8 pm at night. Was able to talk to him the same night and he was out there the next morning. Fixed the problem and was super easy to communicate with. Will 100% use for all my handyman issues. If you have any issues you should just call as you will not find anyone better.

I woke up to an awful smell in my house on Sunday morning. I had a water sensor on my sump pump go off the night before, and our house reeked (like downtown San Francisco) the next day. I realized that the pump wasn't pumping the dirty water away. Instead, water started to pool through the corroded lid at the top of the pump under the stairs.
It is hard to find a great plumber. I asked my neighbors for referrals; they're all gone from the area. So I finally went to Yelp and put in a request showing my problem.
I had various "quotes," some were upwards of $2,500, sight unseen.
Reminder, this all went down on a Sunday. Taylor was one of the few that offered to look (on Sunday) and give me an estimate to fix my problem.
Taylor was excellent from when I chatted with him on Yelp, estimating when he could "look" at the problem to when he showed up and started working on the pump. He showed up with his helper.
My house reeked, but he just powered thru, not one complaint; I was gagging.
He pulled off the top, pulled out the pump, cleared the disgusting adult diaper and cloths that had been flushed down the toilet by my Alzheimer-ridden mother, and then put a temporary cover on the sump pump to reduce any odors.
Quickly, my house smelled normal again, and he showed up a few days later with a custom lid and installed it while fixing all the "Weird piping" we had under the stairs.
The whole thing cost less than 1/4 of the estimate the other plumbers gave and was solved in record time, professionally, with no stress and a great attitude.
Taylor is my go-to plumber and handyman going forward!

Let's see, Troy showed up exactly on time, was courteous and friendly to the wife and kids, fixed everything he said, steered me away from costly projects, and showed me how to maintain everything or do it myself the next time.  I have been a homeowner for 20 years and rank him as one of the best.  He's hard to schedule because he probably has a lot of repeat business, of which, I will be one.

Amazing work! Gilbert was on time, extremely communicative and did an amazing job!!!

Winds had blown down a chain link fence with vines on it and across the wall it was not secure. Gilbert went in and reinforced every single part of the wall and explained what he did. I am absolutely amazed at his work and how professional he did it. I HIGHLY recommend Our Handyman pros for your Handyman needs. I certainly will be calling him for lots more work!!

Side note: I reached out to 11 handyman folks on Yelp and some refused the job, some were booked and some didn't respond. Pretty upsetting however Gilbert came through and I am extremely happy.

Needed to have a faux shutter reassembled and reattached to my home after it blew off in a wind storm. Reached out to S&R and was called within 15 minutes to schedule an appointment and they came out the next day right on time. Took care of it extremely quick and very well done. Will definitely use again. Extremely satisfied.

As a homeowner and not having electrical skills or knowledge to do some of my home repairs, I reached out to Fixer. The repair person was knowledgeable, polite. He replaced a broken GFI outlet and replaced parts on my gas grill ( a difficult repair to access on the grill). So last night I was able to enjoy grilled corn on the cob and steaks. Just in time for the 4th! I will definitely consider Fixer for my next home repair.
