We just went through Sunset Tile and Bath to have our tub removed and shower elongated. We found this to be the best experience we have ever had with a business. Everyone who we had contact with there were courteous, honest, patient and highly skilled. We absolutely love our new shower and would highly recommend Sunset Tile & Bath.

First and foremost, Kent is extremely professional; his quotes are easy to understand, he listens to your questions, he shows up on time and he works diligently.  
Last year I went about getting quotes to have both bathrooms gutted and remodeled at my parent's house.  My parents are both elderly and just couldn't figure out how to even go about finding a contractor, so I made the calls and got quotes from some contractors, including Kent.  I first had the master bathroom remodeled, but didn't use Kent.  That contractor did a good job, but they sub contracted all the work to a few guys who didn't show up on time and sometimes wouldn't show up at all when promised.  Keep in mind that I was managing this remodel while at my own house, so when my Aunt (who lives with my parents) called me to tell me the (sub)contractor didn't show up, I was pretty ticked off.  The remodel of the 6 x 6 master bath did wrap up after about 2.5 weeks, but included the contractor needing to come back to fix some items that the sub contractor failed to touch up or complete.
Now onto the 4 X 6 guest bath remodeled by Kent.  I contacted Kent and immediately asked him if he subcontracted his work and he said no and that he would be onsite for every step of the remodel.  Kent fit my parent's guest remodel into his schedule and told me it would take 5 days.  It took 4!  Kent had help, but he was there every step of the way (as reported by my Aunt) and he worked fast and efficiently.  The subway tile work over the bathtub, including a nook, turned out beautifully, as did the vinyl plank wood flooring.   Kent's focus on doing the work quickly and doing it well was very much appreciated, as my Aunt now has her own remodeled bathroom to use.  

A Quick Follow Up:  I go over to clean my parent's bathrooms regularly and noticed some buildup around the base of the toilet, on the vinyl flooring.  I contacted Kent and he willingly went over and replaced the toilet's wax ring seal.  It probably isn't even the seal (my parents are elderly and peeing gets more difficult when you're immobile), but I greatly appreciate Kent's willingness no assist me and my parents.

Marcus was a pleasure to contract for renovation of a bathroom shower. This was a first time experience for me and Marcus was accessible, provided great advice and did terrific work. Marcus provided an onsite estimate and helped craft the job based on what we were looking for. Every step of the way Marcus provided updates and receipts. I would not hesitate to contract Marcus for another job.

After my review the owner of the business, Brian, reached out. It seems there was some confusion as who was going to contact who. I was impressed in talking with Brian and learning more about him. My take away is that he is honest, empathic, and a hard working business owner. Since I had no work done I cannot speak to their craftmanship.
I will give 5 stars for the integrity and communication on the part of the owner.

Lon is amazing. He did work that for 3 years I couldnt find anyone to do. Everyone else wanted us to replace our entire kitchen granite. Lon was able to find the matching granite and only replace what was needed.
His work is excellent and his customer service as well. Will never use anyone else.

Kitchen countertop project: I put together a general scope of work for my project. Every contractor that bid this was working from the same set of requirements. CustomCreative was the only contractor who both understood and improved the SoW before making their proposal. Their bid was realistic and extremely competitive. Terms were fair. Praveen (owner) also indulged my desire to clarify the final contract with more details. This was a very good sign. Their office is in Scottsdale, my home is in Sun City West....no problem - they're happy to do business with far west metro customers. All of their craftsmen are terrific; skilled and easy to work with. Project communication was top notch and I could not be happier with the final results. Well, it's our 3rd and final project because everything has been updated. The last thing was to rip out all the 20 year old tile and replace it. We looked at glued wood, wood look tile, engineered floating wood and floating luxury vinyl planking. Burton really helped us understand the pros/cons and provided nice big samples. We went with the Vinyl planking (we choose Mohawk) because of the quality, the pet warranty and the fact you couldn't tell it from the engineered wood flooring.

Installation went flawlessly and we chose to go diagonal. Their floor specialist Omar, was quite the artist (see pic). He blended it perfectly. We have had several people over and they are shocked it's not wood. All and all another great outcome and very competitive cost.

He did a decent job. Nothing stellar. He was more than an hour late every day. He gave me a quote for the work then did half the job and then changed the price on me to more than double the original quote and hand cuffed me into having to have him finish. Just all around pathetically embarrassing professionalism.

Located in the rear corner of Terry's Consignment in Scottsdale you will find the showroom of Pelleco. Do not let the size of the space fool you. The expertise is on par with much larger wholesalers and interior designers in the area. Sam pays great attention to detail and is easy to work with. I am fairly new to home ownership but have very high standards and expectations. At no time did I waiver at anything Sam suggested or offered. His pricing is extremely competitive and he has access to a wide range of materials and products. While we had Pelleco do a full estimate based on our remodeling needs; we didn't use him for all but we're very pleased with the outcome. We took four bids for each project. Sam bid on each job individually and gave us a great deal on kitchen, bath, and flooring. We took the best bid from each vendor type and added the total sum against Sam's bid for the entire project. Sam was a pleasure to work with and was very patient as my girlfriend and I made style changes often.

DJ is awesome! They did a lot of miscellaneous work including drywall, tile backsplash, pantry construction, and painting. Highly recommended.

We started on our first remodel this year and wanted to start with the kitchen and our kid's bathroom.  Andrew had some great advice while talking through what we wanted that really helped us get our vision together.  He also helped reign us in and keep us from doing stupid things that may become an issue years down the line.

Had a busted pipe in between my bathrooms right after Thanksgiving 2022 which was a disaster to get back home to. After water damage repairs I had a few different contractors quote for repairs. Mario was quick to respond and eager to get started even though the insurance haven't gave me funds yet. We went over the job in detail and what would need to be done along with materials. He helped pick up items that were needed from flooring stores or Lowe's without an issue and completed the job within 2 weeks time. Very happy with his work ethic and attitude so I would recommend Navas Remodeling.

We had four or five small jobs that we needed done after a recent home inspection for the sale of our house.

Dave from Handyman Connection was great.  Charged us exactly what he quoted us.  He made sure during and after each job he did to explain what he did and how he did it.

They were on time, professional and reasonably priced.  Not only that, they were a one stop shop.  Instead of having to hire an electrician and a plumber, we just called Handyman.

Had a good experience with some brick work and painting. After some touch-up work the job was done well. The new owners of the house we're happy and the work was warrantied to satisfaction so what more could we ask for.

Would definitely use again. He mounted our 42inch TV and it was fast + high quality service. Definitely recommend and you can't beat the price!

Better Bath made my bathroom remodel easy from start to finish. They were on top of things every step of the way and ensured that I knew what was going on every day. They did excellent work and I have every intention to use them for future work as well.

We needed to have two of our bathrooms remodeled; our master bathroom and family/guest bathroom. We had three companies come to our home to give us estimates and ideas. Each of the first two sent one person for the estimate. I was disappointed after meeting with them. Basically, all I received was an estimate price of what it would cost to complete and absolutely no design concepts or architectural ideas. I then contacted Retro-Pro and made an appointment with Eric and Angela. They arrived on time and spent approximately one hour going over the project. Eric offered architectural/building ideas while Angela gave design details. I was impressed. They offered information that I had not previously considered or knew. They explained that all the workers that would be at our home are their employees and that nothing is subcontracted. They gave me an exact price on what our project would cost and we made another appointment to meet at their design studio to go over tile and fixture options. They began work on November 14th and the final walk through was on December 22nd, 2016. They assigned a Project Manager, Omar, and he was in contact with us daily as to the progress of the project. He answered all our questions during the construction and addressed any issues or concerns that we had. The construction crews respected our home by using plenty of plastic sheeting and heavy duty paper to protect our belongings and our floors. Angela and Steve, Project Supervisor, would stop by every few days to monitor how the project was progressing. We now have two beautiful bathrooms that we will enjoy for years to come. Angela's design talents shine every time we enter one of our bathrooms. We are so grateful that the project was handled start-to-finish with such professionalism and with the utmost respect for our home. The craftsmanship is second to none. I would not hesitate to hire Retro-Pro again or to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a low-stress, highly-professional company to create a beautiful kitchen or bath environment in their home.

Asked for an estimate for a guest bathroom. They were kind and efficient when they came over answered all our questions andsaid they would send us an estimate by the end of the week. Two weeks later I reached out, they said they were behind on their estimates. Never heard from them again. It was a shame we loved their ideas, their dynamic and their suggestions.
