Jeff, JDR CONTRACTING, has did several remodels for our home in the past. This time he did a Ledger Stone wall with bookcases, and to say it is beautiful. Is not saying enough! He quoted us a time and $ amount and he came in right on schedule Great job. Jeff!

I had EL Construction come evaluate a patio cover with a rafter succumbing to rot. Eric himself answered promptly, and gave a fair assessment of the repair and the possibility of scope creep and how that would work. When I accepted his quote, he got me scheduled very quickly, and sure enough the scope had to get considerably bigger. The ease of communicating with him made what could be a scary situation much more approachable, and he definitely seemed motivated to treat my home like it was his own.

The project dragged on three days longer than expected, but at every stage it was kept protected from the monsoon elements, and the construction made quick progress. The outcome was an excellent work product, everything looking like new, and a fair final invoice.

I definitely recommend EL Construction for the hard stuff. Eric tells me he can do it all, too, so I'll be reaching back out to him as the projects come up!

I called Aqua Therapy to get an estimate on a shower kit remodel.  I talked with Derek, and he was extremely professional and sent over an estimate pretty quickly.  After receiving the estimate, I called him to discuss what options would save money.  He quickly sent me a new estimate and we scheduled a date for him to come out.  The job came out perfect.  I can definitely say that Derek is a man of his word, his reliability and service were well above par.  His costs were in-line with what was quoted.  I am planning to hire him for my next shower remodel.

We have used Qualtire a few times now for plumbing repairs at our office. The scheduling has always been easy and the service has been great! Plumbing issues are never fun, but it is great to have a quality company that we can trust when something goes wrong.

Martin and his team are some of the best in the Valley!! They are so kind, thoughtful, respectful, and genuinely kind people. We are so pleased with all the work they helped us with, including a new fireplace and surround, wainscoting, whole home painting, lighting, shiplap, and many other projects! I engaged 2nd Avenue Design by email in February. I specifically asked if they did engineering. Michael at 2nd Ave responded by email saying, yes this is something we do a lot. I subsequently met with Michael. He came to my home and we discussed the project. He said he would write a bid for the job. This is where we started to have problems with communication and follow up. I had to ask for the bid after it was due. Miraculously he sent it after I asked.
I decided to use 2nd Ave and gave a deposit to start the process with the agreement that work would begin by June 1st. Between my first contact with Michael at 2nd Ave and now (July 15th) I've had to hound him for updates and communication.
He said he was having a difficult time finding an engineer. He brought one by finally (an engineer who he never worked with) and the engineer kept asking me what I wanted and he had no solutions except to put large obtrusive posts and beams in after jackhammering my foundation. Clearly this is not what I discussed with Michael and it was clearly a lazy solution for the engineer.
No work has ever been started and my last text to Michael on July 5th was ignored until July 14th when I texted again and asked for my deposit back.
I'm sure 2nd Ave is good at ripping out your old kitchen and putting a new one in when it's just new cabinets and appliances. But they definitely are not your company if you need any thought put into your project.
I would not recommend 2nd Avenue Design for any project other than anything very simple.

Danny has done several jobs at my house. He's redone my closet, redone my kitchen, redid my front and back yard which meant knocking out walls and restructuring everything, and  installed crown moulding throughout my house. He's does quality work and is very professional.

We needed our master bathroom shower remodeled to accommodate a wheelchair user. After hearing about all the problems people encountered on bad jobs we were paranoid about choosing a contractor.  We decided to go with Independence because they specialized in handicapped remodeling.   We met with Mike to go over our project,  got a quote, and set a start date.  His crew arrived on time and were courteous and efficient. When a few project hitches came up (which they almost always do) they were resolved to our complete satisfaction.  

Independence charged a fair price, honored their quote,  started on time, did an excellent job, finished on time and cleaned up after themselves.  What more could a customer ask for?  I would recommend them without hesitation.

Michael responded to a request for a quote and was able to arrive within hours of our initial contact. I had tried to install a ceiling fan on my own but had some issues with the wiring. He was able to complete the installation of the ceiling fan and also fixed the wiring issue.  I was impressed with his knowledge and will certainly reach out to him again for other jobs.

The wax ring was bad on upstairs toilet and water damage was happening under our tiles damaging the sub floor. The rotted ply wood was replaced and new tiles placed. Amazing work. They were reliable. Efficient, affordable, and communicated well.

Our Kitchen Remodel was a long process, but the new custom cabinets, counter tops, electrical, drywall, plumbing, appliances, and painting process were finally completed.
The Backsplash, over the cooktop and counter, was the last step.
We contacted several installers from lists provided by the tile stores.
We received no return calls.
Finally, we decided to try Yelp. Our Yelp search for Backsplash installers listed Golden Bear Contracting.
We called Michael, the owner of Golden Bear Contracting.
He answered our call and said he could come out that afternoon and give us a quote.
We wanted to show Michael the tile we had selected and also the Mosaic we had purchased to go over the cooktop.
The Mosaic contained thousands of really small tiles, and we wanted to be sure Michael could install it.
He answered all of our questions about installing the Mosaic and gave us a few suggestions on outlining the Mosaic with darker Pencil tiles.
We decided on the spot that Michael was the contractor to do our installation.
He gave us a date about two-weeks out for the installation and we shook hands on the deal.
Michael arrived on the promised day at exactly 8am and got right to work.
The job was finished, as promised, around noon the next day.
Everything, including the mosaic, went perfectly.
The grouting and the tile sealing went smoothly and the finished product looks absolutely great.
His cleanup was spotless and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.
We'll be remodeling our master bathroom next and we had Michael look at the bathroom and make suggestions.
Turns out that he actually specializes in Bathroom remodels.
We were very impressed with our backsplash and also with his suggestions on the bathroom remodel.
We've decided to call Michael when we're ready to tackle the bathroom.
He is very professional, courteous, punctual and, when it comes to tile, he's Great.

I hired them to add a closet to a room in my house.  They had to deal with framing, drywall, baseboards, paint, electrical & flooring.  It came out great, looks like it's part of the original house.  I would use them again.

I was referred by a friend after a bad storm had revealed a leak in our new home. With another monster storm about to hit us, I reached for a consultation and Geremy drove an hour and a half out of his way on his own time to look at what was going on. Gave me a quick and honest assessment, when asked how much, he was beyond reasonable, and offered to handle the job on the spot, so the next storm wouldn't damage my house! Ken and his team just finished remodeling our kitchen and widening our living and dining room walls.  We are so happy with our vision coming true and the quality of work Ken and his crew provided for our remodel.   They were true to our time line and finished the project in just 4 weeks.  I will certainly hire Armstrong Innovations in all our future projects.

Jeremy helped me hide my hideous pool pump with a fun rustic yet modern lateral fence. It looks amazing!! He did great. Very friendly. Great pricing. He built it and made sure it will last for years. He also fix and weather protect my RV gate. I highly recommend Jeremy the handyman and will definitely call him again.

I just wrapped up my 3rd job with JM Contracting and we couldn't be happier!!! The first job Josh (owner) did for me was our back patio roof. We discussed a drainage issue and out of all of the other bids I obtained and telling them all the same issue, Josh was the ONLY one that suggested we get an architect/engineer to address the problem. He naturally got my bid! Josh got on top of the drainage issue and once the engineer/architect (Quincy) did his calculations, pictures, etc. we came up with a solution. Josh was able to do the entire job, also addressing an issue with my sagging roof that was putting all its weight on my french door lintels which required shoring it up and stabilizing it, he stayed just outside of our original budget.
We have had NO problems with drainage since and that has saved my master bedroom floor!

Josh remodeled my master bathroom and my father's bathroom within the past 4 months as well. The outcome is stellar!!! Our bathrooms now look like they came right off of HGTV! No kidding! I highly recommend JM Contracting for all your contracting jobs. Josh is great to work with, his team (including his subs) are spot on too. Josh oversees everything and he is a total prefectionist...a keen eye for detail and making sure it looks 110% perfect!  Thanks Josh for such great work! We will be using him for our next remodel of our kitchen and our pool decking too!
