This Scottsdale based locally owned company performs to the established standard of care in both water damage and mold projects. They also handle asbestos abatement. I have worked with them in the past and I have had an oversight of many of their projects. I would recommend giving this company a shot

We had our shower done by these guys and it came out beautifully! They were all so friendly and put up with our nosey kid and dog, we would absolutely recommend going with them! Any hiccups that came up Ali addressed immediately and we appreciated that!

Seemed very nice and responsive at first.  Came to the house to see the job and write up a quote - never heard from him again.

Edit: Response to my review is misleading.  It was a project much larger than just countertops, and I found someone that was willing to do just the countertop if that's what made the most sense.  Skyler did not respond to this inquiry/suggestion.  It wasn't as if I waited 4 days, got impatient, and wrote a review.  I waited 13 days and not a peep.  Skyler did reach out to me with apologies after seeing the review, which I appreciate.

Juan and the G&C team are top tier contractors. They've got specialists for everything you could need in a house and deliver top quality for great prices.

Occasionally, scheduling can be a bit hectic when multiple specialists are on the job, but Juan is responsive to feedback and his team improves after each trip.

My parents are very pleased with their service from beginning to end. They really pride themselves on their quality of work. They had a kitchen backsplash put in our kitchen and it turned out beautiful. If you are thinking of getting a backsplash for your kitchen, you have to check them out. We had horrible layer of wax on our travertine floor. It was really difficult to get remove and it was making our floor look like it was damaged beyond repair. Alex and Carlos were a pleasure to work with and they expertly removed the wax and polished our travertine floor. Now we have a glossy, shiny floor and that made the interior of our house look 10x newer! Super happy!

I can see why this company has 5 stars! I would give it 6 if I could.
Great service from a retired Fireman and Sheriff's Department. They were quick, efficient, and quoted a very fair price on a broken down closet that looked to be a hazard.

He presented us with a couple different layouts and options to fit our budget as well as some suggestions we were not even considering based on his experience. The results were spectacular.

We recently moved into our new Toll Brothers home and had a challenging time looking for a good contractor that will design my entertainment wall at a reasonable and fair price.  With the recent challenges we all face with contractors taking advantage of price spikes, and long wait time for a project to begin, Canterra Construction beat the competitor's reliability and price!  Initially, I contracted for an entertainment wall design with them.  Cathy took it to a personal level in designing my wall and brought samples of stones and tiles.  She factored in my interior designs, colors, and furniture to select the best.  And wow, my husband and I are so amazed with the professionalism, reliability, designs, and the material used for our wall that it became one of the wow factors of my home!  Because of this company's professionalism and awesome work, I continued to contract them for my back and front yard.  Again, Cathy understood our goal.  She uniquely put together another great design at an affordable price.  Next contract is for accent walls and designs for all my rooms.  I am excited for this project. We hired Arizona Kitchens and Refacing for a large project of refacing cabinets in our kitchen, bar, hallway, and laundry room as well as adding new cabinets in our bonus room. The quality of their work is impeccable. I have worked with contractors for decades and I have never worked with a contractor that was a perfect 10 until I met and hired Keith. Keith and his crew are that good. My wife and I could not be any happier and a huge thank you goes out to Keith and his crew for making our home look beautiful. You guys are simply the best.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

THE. BEST. Don't look any further! Hire them! We were looking for a design/build company we could trust. They delivered and with high quality! They do it all from design, flooring, cabinets, countertops, drywall, paint, electrical, plumbing, backsplash, etc!

We've done 3 different projects with them now. A few years ago they did our kitchen. We get compliments on it all the time. They spent tireless hours searching for the perfect sink we picked out and couldn't find in stock! Sorry the picture is a little dark, but the island has open shelves on this side of the picture. The kitchen also includes a microwave drawer, trash can drawer, specialty drawers, pull out drawers in some of the cabinets, soft close, etc.

We have now recently hired them again to do our bathroom after severe water damage. They fit us in and gave us a better than ever bathroom in a reasonable time. They also gave us all the documentation we needed for our insurance company.

We also had them recently do a custom craft room. It's also amazing! They made my dream come true and figured out exactly how to lay it out so everything would be setup perfectly in reach for all my different projects!

The designers are great at listening to what you want and providing suggestions to make sure everything looks great. They have a great eye for colors and styles. Additionally all the workers are very professional and do high quality work. They show up on time and make sure every little detail is perfect. You can trust them to do the best from design to build!

I recently had my Outside patio tiled.  Julio did a great job.  He was on time everyday and was neat & tidy.  Sean, the owner came every morning to check on things and it was a very efficient process.
I will definitely call him for my next project!

We had Vlad check out a wall in our home as a pre-purchase due diligence. He showed up to the appointment on time and was able to provide an estimate by the end of the next business day. His estimate report was less than ideal as he was unable to provide a breakdown of his pricing. His estimate was much more than expected because he wanted to cut into other walls. We did ask him to look at a ceiling, so I understand why he was providing information on that. After a slow process in trying to have him break down the pricing, he was able to give use an estimate on just the wall we needed repaired. We paid a $125 estimate fee in which we were advised that this could be applied to the wall repair when we were ready for it. Come a couple of weeks later and we are ready to fix the wall following purchase, Vlad has been non-responsive and not returned any of our efforts via phone call or text message. This lapse in communication is a serious red flag and I will not let someone that cannot even follow up with communication work on my house.  He was fairly responsive during our initial inquire, however now that we want the work done, we feel totally ghosted. Perhaps the job is too small for him to even bother? That's fine...just SAY SO. I even gave him a chance by reaching out via yelp before I wrote this review. He responded, but it was a very non commital response. If you can reply via yelp, why cant you call us back??

I am not one to write a poor review...so this is more so a cautionary tale for others. We are first time home buyers and wish that we had done a little more research about general contractors before moving forward with this company.

I recently had Jason do a complete remodel of my kitchen. I am completely happy with the job he did.He was very flexible in working around our work schedules.He went above and beyond in giving us what we asked for. the work was top quality and completed in a timely manner. He stuck with his quote to us and I believe he gave us more than he quoted us at no charge. I will be using him in the future to do our bathrooms. it's very hard to find a quality contactor and I would recommend him highly.

I had called three times to ask for someone to come to our home and give us an estimate. Nobody called me back. If they don't want the business, why not say so upfront? What a bunch of unprofessional people running this company.

I needed major repairs on my house after a busted pipe flooded my house. It was awful! New tile, carpet removal, dry wall tear outs, you name it, everything needed repair! After pulling my hair out on previous projects due to unreliable contractors, I knew how important it was to find the right one. I was grateful when Rosie from Rosie on the House recommended Kowalski Construction. I called Kowalski and was put in contact with their contractor, Brendon Kowalski. Within a few days, I met with Jeramy and he walked me through everything. He was extremely hands on throughout the whole process. He was efficient and responsive to all my questions, handled everything with care and professionalism, and effectively dealt with our insurance claims representatives and adjuster; which was a relief because the insurance representatives could be quite difficult to work with. After the work was done, and I got to walk into my repaired home, I felt like I was on HGTV! All the puzzle pieces were back in place for my family to move back into our home.
