Custom Creative Remodeling

We hired Praveen and his team to do a ton of repairs on the outside of our house as well as our stucco fence and paint our house. They also did a lot of stucco repair on our house and fence. They did a phenomenal job. They had a very tight deadline to work with and as we were planning a party and needed everything completed before then. They were on time, very professional and did an excellent job!

We are over 6 months past our original completion window on a home remodel/home build with addition added.  They assured us they had capacity for a build such as the one we desired and have continued to mess up the space.  I would not recommend this company to anyone doing an extensive home renovation.  maybe if you are just taking out cabinets/counters and putting in new ones they could handle that type of work but they definetely cannot handle a full house renovation.  Also make sure you read the contract IN DETAIL.  put your timeline for completion in the contract as they do not follow timelines and will say things to your face but not put them in the contract so it is up to YOU to double and triple check.  I would take note of EVERY conversation and make them sign off on what was discussed.   I have talked to another friend who used them for a kitchen remodel and it took them 2-3 months longer to complete than estimated and they had many additional charges they were not expecting.

They quoted us 4-5 months for completion.  the project was supposed to start in April, it didn't start until July since they didn't have a project manager to do the job until then - even though at bidding they said they were capable to do a project of our caliber - this was a misrepresentation.  Then AFTER they demo and assured us due to a friend at the city we would have permits, we did not get permits until SEPTEMBER - so we lost money that they did not reimburse to stay at an airbnb while NO WORK happened at our house - they finally started work in October on the project in which they said we would be done in February now.  the week of Christmas we were no where near completion yet the owner continued to assure me we would absolutely be done in February.  I demanded a complete schedule of events and estimated time each step would take.  when I received this the project was pushed out to April 15.   Even with this the owner assured me that there as A LOT of buffer built in and we would be done in March.  so I began following along with the timeline completion - to miss every milestone each week - to which I expressed my concerns to the owner many times and he assured me they were still on time because they would leap frog trades and be able to complete on time.  

bring us to today 4/22.  We are still a minimum of 2-3 weeks out from completion.  we are having major quality issues in our master bathroom including slanted countertops and cabinets, chips in the flooring and slanted cabinets.  horrible seems on very expensive marble countertops.  As of now they have stated they will continue to work on things until they are correct/quality work however this is causing even more delays for our move in.

The owner is not willing to assign additional crews to the project - said his employees can't get along and that would cause issues.  he also said he is not willing to provide any further compensation for the delays even though he put it in a revised version of the contract that we would be complete of April 15th.  He is not willing to pay for housing nearby.

This is not all of my complaints with this company, but it is enough of an expanation for you to be warned and know what you are getting yourself into with this company.

I wanted to share  pictures of our 2016 shower remodel from Custom Creative Remodeling. As you can see our shower grout has melted away like butter even though we were sold a upgrade for Fusion grout that was supposed to be waterproof. You can see that after not even 5 years my shower will need to be replaced, as I have water seeping through my grout, cracks in my tile and the flooring is popping out. I actually went with the most expensive bid hoping to get quality work but, now having to start over before the 5 year mark.

We recently had our Master Bath remodeled by Custom Creative. It consisted of removing the tub and existing shower as well as a large window. Custom Creative came highly recommended to us by a trusted friend who had used them for a large kitchen/dining room remodel. Everyone in the company lived up to our every expectation from the owner, Praveen, down to every craftsman that was part of the project. Linda was very helpful in our design phase, selection of materials and making sure all details were taken care of. We enjoyed working with her.  The project required leveling out the shower floor to make it a walk-in for easy access.  Jesus was an excellent craftsman, very particular to make sure the tiling was just perfect.  Everyone was respectful and courteous. We also appreciated that at the end of every workday all areas were cleaned up and tools stored away.  We now have a beautiful Master Bath that we are so proud to show off to friends and would highly recommend Custom Creative to anyone needing their services.  I should also mention that we were on a bit of a tight timeline and they kept their promise of getting the job finished by the deadline.

I highly recommend CustomCreative Remodeling for any major or minor home improvement projects you are considering. We did a complete remodel of our kitchen and house entryway (removal and addition of walls/windows) along with a replacement of over 1100 Sq ft of dated saltillo tile flooring, 2 bathroom upgrades and a refacing of a fireplace. The team did an excellent job in designing the new space; insuring not only engineering integrity but creation of a functionally rich new working kitchen/bar area space with a wonderful new color palette that works for the entire house. They provided a detailed line item breakdown of all the work done and including design change orders that we made along the way. The workers were top notch craftsman who delivered high quality work from floor & backsplash tiling, countertop fabrication, new electrical, framing, drywall, texturing, plumbing, etc. The guys were always on time and each day the job site was left clean after working. Communication with everyone involved who came to the house was easy and effective. A++ grade performance!!!

Kitchen countertop project: I put together a general scope of work for my project. Every contractor that bid this was working from the same set of requirements. CustomCreative was the only contractor who both understood and improved the SoW before making their proposal. Their bid was realistic and extremely competitive. Terms were fair. Praveen (owner) also indulged my desire to clarify the final contract with more details. This was a very good sign. Their office is in Scottsdale, my home is in Sun City West....no problem - they're happy to do business with far west metro customers. All of their craftsmen are terrific; skilled and easy to work with. Project communication was top notch and I could not be happier with the final results. Many thanks for helping me make my vision for our kitchen come true. Next year, master bath!!  CustomCreative = Highly Recommended.

This is truly a one-of-a-kind, exceptional company!!!  From the moment I first called to get information, until the completion of our granite project, everyone within this company was kind, a pleasure to work with, and professional.  Our granite install was unique... We have very severe food allergies and environmental allergies within our family, so it was vital that we work with a granite company that could complete our project in record time, and get us on the path to eating healthy and living in a dust free environment once again.  The granite in our kitchen is not only absolutely beautiful, the whole project was completed in 4-5 business days, from template to install!!!!  If I could give Praveen, Willie and their team 10 stars I would!!!   Look no further.... Custom Creative is by far the best granite fabricator and installer in Scottsdale!!!!

Our remodel included a complete re-do of the master bathroom, two guest bathrooms, repaint entire house and an update of the fireplace wall. We interviewed several contractors but we decided on CCR due to the professionalism of Praveen and his team. Each person, especially the project designer Haleigh, on the team is extremely responsive and easy to work with. They listen to the client's needs and make sure you are satisfied with the progress and end result. I have not yet met another business owner as passionate as Praveen so I trusted he will deliver the end result I am happy with. Overall the quality of the work was good and they are willing to come fix any problems as necessary after the remodel. I recommend CCR to anyone who is looking for a dependable contractor.
