We've used Affordable Home Improvements twice for a patio & garage light installation and then for flooring to be replaced from termite damage.  Both times communication & service were excellent with extremely reasonable pricing.

Will continue to use them in the future for all our home improvements!

We asked Distinctive Construction to help us turn a seldom used bedroom in to a mega closet and they didn't disappoint. They did a phenomenal job and we're extremely happy with the work. Everyone was professional, courteous and nice. I would highly recommend them for any work you need done!

Amazing customer service! I was having trouble installing a ceiling fan on my own, and I called them up to have them come out for service. Instead the man I spoke with recognized that I was very close to finishing and just talked me through the rest of the install over the phone. I was very surprised. I was in need of finding an honest, prompt, and affordable Contractor.

Travis was highly recommended to me by a friend who's used him several times for his studio design. I also had a chance to check out his Yelp reviews and thought they  were pretty consistent and so I called. I own an airbrush tanning studio in Phoenix and needed to create more efficient lighting where I tan my clients to avoid any shadows on their skin, especially at night. I also needed to install an exhaust fan to help with the overspray of organic tanning solution that tends to spread throughout my studio.

Speaking to Travis over the phone for the first time, I knew I had made the right decision. I was extremely impressed that he had already done some research on exhaust fans even before speaking to me thanks to my friend who had given him a heads up that I'd be calling! Not a lot of people would take the initiative to do some research even before speaking to their potential client, but Travis did. I felt like we were already off to a great start and within a few days, we met at my studio so that he could see how everything would flow. He showed up on-time, was extremely helpful, insightful, and professional.

Within one afternoon, Travis had installed my lights, plus another set of unexpected track lights last minute, and though we concluded the fan he ordered wasn't strong enough for my studio space, he didn't charge me for it. He also covered my desk and retail shelves with plastic to avoid any dust getting anywhere and vacuumed the floors after he was done.

Long story short, hire Travis. His rates are fair, he's prompt, clean, attentive, honest (had saved receipts for everything he purchased) and does an incredible job well done.

Without a doubt, I will be using Travis again in the future.

I wish I could've had a similar experience to other reviewers here, but the salesman who helped me that day made me vow to not spend a dime at this place. I walked in and was paired with an available salesman on the floor. We started looking for some cabinet options since we're remodeling our bathrooms & kitchen. I had an idea of what I was looking for and he pulled out some samples. I pulled out my phone to take photos of the ones I liked, and was told that photography is not allowed.

Interesting, because all the tile stores I've been to before didn't seem to mind. But ok, not a big deal. I put my phone away and went back to looking at my options. At this time, another couple walked into the store and they were short a salesperson. My sales guy lets them know that he'd be with them soon, and I told him to go ahead and help them since I was going to take some time looking.

This is where he made an offensive remark and I decided I'd never do business with this store again. The salesman actually told me he couldn't leave me alone with the samples because he was afraid I would take a picture of the samples when he wasn't present. So he continued to stand by me as I looked at the selection.

Well thank you sir for making judgments and accusing your potential clients of wanting to do something they weren't even thinking about! I can respect that no photography is allowed, but I cannot respect a salesperson who treats his customers as if they were criminals.

You lost out on not just one client, but all her friends who are in the midst of remodeling their kitchens and bathrooms as well.

They did a fantastic job on our kitchen, did everything except the cabinets and countertop which they coordinated with the other vendors.  The job included taking down a load bearing wall. They were great to work with, on time, very knowledgeable  and professional. I highly recommend them for any project - large or small!

We just had our 3 bathrooms remodeled in our 21 year old house. The remodeled bathrooms are beautiful!!! I highly recommend  New Bath. It is a family owned and operated business. The owners, Jonathan and Jeremy Sands were wonderful to work with. The project came in on time and on budget. Their crews were professional and courteous. We are so pleased that we finally did this and found a great company to work with. We feel like we are in a new house with our beautiful new bathrooms!

The Salesman/Owner will sell you on their great service and you will never see him again.  His business partner will show up at the end of the job and ask how everything is.  You will explain what you are unhappy with and he will reply, Not everything can be perfect.  Seriously????

The workers will not show up until noon or later and end up working until 7, 8 even 9 pm to make up time.  They know EVERY excuse in the book.  Lunch break is never less than two hours.  They often will tell you there was a long line when they got to the supply store so they left and go to breakfast which is why they show up so late.  

They lie and make up reasons they cannot do what you want such as replace the medicine cabinet.  Really, because the one we bought is 1 inch longer you refuse to put it up?  We know enough that you can make the whole in the wall larger.  But they are too lazy to do that.  Another contractor  for the same company told us it could have been done easily.  They will ask one spouse into talking the other spouse out of something they want done as a part of the remodel. How dare you?  Did you think we would not talk to each other & figure this out.

When they finish the job they will leave an enormous mess.  You will spend a full day cleaning the new bathroom.  Then hours of phone messages to try and get someone back out to fix their mistakes.  You also will need to keep the windows open  for a month to get the cigarette smoke smell out of your house.  Don't forget to clean up all the buds from your flower beds too!  You eventually will need to make some repairs yourself because they will not call back!

The contractors they used for glass, mirrors, countertops and the sinks were great!  They hinted they know the owners and New Bath workers were difficult to work with but they get away with it because they do good work.

VERY LONG STORY SHORT, we are happy with the end result overall but getting there was a challenge.  We did give in and did not get some of the features we really wanted which we do regret.  We would not recommend New Bath.

We hired them to do a few changes in our backyard. Remove old rock and replace with new as well as install a few mini palms and install a paver path along the side of the house and install new sod. At first they only had one person working on it so project ended up taking longer than expected. During install they tried dumping old rock into neighbors side which also had rock of a different color. I had to tell them to remove them and dispose of them like we had agreed. Then they did not level ground before laying down sod. All sprinklers are at different height with giant holes around each head where soil was dug up by them and not put back. Paver path is completely uneven and water line that they ran to mini palms was less than a foot deep and is now leaking and they refuse to make any repairs. Stay away from this company. Will also be reporting them to BBB.
