I wish I had a better experience to report here. I sincerely hoped to recommend this contractor but am unable.
We were sold on a lot of things, few of which ended up being accurate. One of the most disappointing was being told they use Vets. Based on my experience this ended up being untrue, unless they were veterans of Mexico's military - I didn't ask that. 2 of the 12+ people that walked in and out of my home were Vets. One was the owner's brother. The two Vets were supervisors and worked a combined 5 or 6 hours over a 2 week period. Don't bank on them bringing vets in to do the work. That was essentially a sales tactic and it felt deceitful.
The team they bring in is very nice but speaks little English making communication challenging. We were told to have everything moved and ready by 8am on a Monday but no one showed up until we called, then they came at 10:30. They ripped the floor out in two hours and then said they forgot their tools and had to leave. They didn't come back. I also heard they hadn't been paid from their last job and feel that was part of their hesitation to do more than destroy my floor and leave for the day.
The next day no one showed up again and we had to call for a status update. When the crew finally arrived, they worked for 3 hours and told me they forgot their tools and had to leave. That leaves me to question the work overall ethic here. 16 hours of work time available Monday and Tuesday yet they only utilized about 5.5 hours total. Not the best start and the Super was rarely here to check up on things.
We had to pay for the dumpster and it was hosted in the driveway. However, every day we found someone else's house trash in there - someone else's construction garbage was being dumped into the container we had to pay for under contract. Why was I renting this for his other clients, or why didn't they inform us that is was shared? It was very unusual to me, to have trucks bringing garbage INTO my neighborhood and dumping in my driveway receptacle.
Next, the tile chosen was the faux wood planks. They blotted the planks in 3 places and set them. Once dried we easily ran knives underneath the tiles to show them the enormous gaps in coverage. Only 60% of the tile had thin-set and the potential for cracks over the next 5-10 years is huge and upsetting. We went to two different tile stores and without leading them into an answer asked them how to best lay such tiles. We asked if running silverware underneath the laid, dried tile gaps was in any way an acceptable coverage method and they said NO NO NO. We brought this up to the contractor. He said they were wrong and just trying to sell us something, although that wasn't remotely what transpired. I told him the back of the thin-set bag even says to cover the entire tile and asked him to show me anywhere else, online or in a store, that I could verify his method of 60% coverage. He stumbled and was at a loss without an answer. It appeared he was caught cutting some serious corners. They ripped up one room of tile to re-lay it. The others couldn't be done without us spending a ton of money to correct their approach to partially thin-setting tile. We would have to replace a living room of already laid tile. The fixed the dining room instead and told us they would change their method to complete coverage.
The kitchen counter came in, too. Unfortunately at some point when this installer was bringing it in and out (and in and out) to cut it down, it was scratched. He installed it, left it dusty when he said he was done, and split. As soon as I sprayed it down to clean it I saw the scratch, which looks to be from the teeth of a blade such a a saw. When we presented it, we were told it was already there and they can't do anything about it.
The toilets were also replaced and had hair intwined within. Eww.
The tile grout purchased was the second from the darkest available but when applied and dry, looked light tan and white in some places. It looks nothing like what we ordered and doesn't match the tile.
They tiled up to the bedroom carpet and left that carpet unattached. When we were in the final walkthrough trying to finish up, we reminded him to tuck that under so no one rips off their toes on the lip of the new tiles. We were told, We don't do carpet. That's not how it was explained prior to signing the contract.
I honestly could go on and on like this. It was one thing after another and when we asked for corrective actions we hit a wall. It took long conversations to make them understand that long-term quality counts. They corrected some things and provided minor financial relief for the 5 day job taking 14 days with layers of mistakes. That was to pacify us and it worked. We wanted them OUT before they messed up more. However I feel the public should know about the potential issued involved with this contractor. I did not have a good experience here and have difficulty recommending without serious oversight of the work done.

I own several rental properties in the Valley and have used Details Remodeling for several small repairs. My tenants said he showed up on time, took great care in keeping the area clean while he worked and was very professional.
All together, Kent did drywall repair, small plumbing projects, small electrical repairs, one roof repair and installed some shelving in a closet. All the work was perfect.
So then I tried Details Remodeling for a bathroom remodel. Kent took care of the entire project. Ripped out the old bathroom, put in new, tile, baseboards, new vanity, toilet, sink, re-routed the plumbing, moved the bathroom door over 12 inches... He did it all and it turned out amazing.
I was tired of handyman services that when the guys show up you're like... I totally get why you're a handyman, cuz you couldn't possible get a job doing anything else. Not the case with Kent and his company. He delivers what he promises, comes in at what he said it would cost and he's great to work with.

I had some woodpecker damage to my stucco on my home thats a rental property.
After having the damage fixed twice by a stucco company, I reached out to the Handyman connection to hang some woodpecker deterrents (ie hanging cds on fishing line). I was told that this wasnt a problem and they would be happy to do the job. Small job, should have been quick easy, and fast money for them.
Handyman connection made the appt. and I scheduled it with my tenant to make sure they were home so no time was lost and the job got done.
One the handyman showed up, he appeared confused since he thought he was there to repair stucco. Um, what part of deterrent didnt they understand?? So he walked away from the job not understanding what was to be done.
I followed up with the handyman connection today. Girl read back the notes in the system to me and she was confused also as to why this wasnt done. She then says, let me call you back...10 min later the call comes in and Im now told this isnt a job we would take...you have to be kidding me! After all of this back and forth and now this?
You get an F and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone!

Liberty Remodeling did a great job on our patio. They were the first to respond for our request for a quote, came out the same day to measure abs give us a price, and were easy to work with. The project was to add a 60x10 ft patio cover on to our existing slab. They poured new footers, and everything. The process was smooth and Alex kept in communication with us. The only thing they did not do was the roofing, which my husband did, but it was not a problem and it turned out beautifully. It is one of our favorite places to hang out and the sun does not beat into our house like it did. Summer will be a lot easier this year!

Most people love their house after a renovation, but not so many can say they loved the process....I did!
This company holds itself to such a high standard of workmanship and communication, it exceeded all my expectations. I am a perfectionist, but so are they.
They love their work. They explain processes, show up on time, guide you when needed, answer calls and concerns immediately. The finished product is amazing.
At the end of the process we felt like family!
What more can I say?

I needed a repair for a door that wouldn't close or lock. I received a quick initial response, and the repair was completed within 24 hrs. The technician, Kaelen, was courteous and professional, and the charge was reasonable. I was very pleased with the service.

Wanted to surprise a family member who is very detail oriented by completing a bathroom while they were away. Needed someone who knew exactly what to do. Marcus responded immediately, gave an estimate with detailed verbal explanation. It was clear he didn't need guidance other than to know our preferences. He took charge and worked straight through until the job was done. This bathroom was bare bones by the way. He had to demo, reframe, do light electrical work, drywall and tile from floor to ceiling. He got it done and it looks clean and sharp. When the family member saw it, they were stunned and could tell it was professional. On top of the great work, Marcus is just a really great guy and really cares about his work. Marcus, if you see this, my family thanks you!

10:30 am We ordered two ceiling fans and a remote on Amazon thinking we would take advantage of their new Amazon Home Services Group. Our experience was horrible outside of Amazon's normal amazing delivery speed. The day of the installation we received a window of between 11am and 2pm. Kyle from I'm Gonna Fix It called and said they were wrapping up with another client and would be there around 3pm. A gentleman named Chris showed up at 4:30pm and started to work on installing our fans. He pulls me aside before he is done and says We can bill your second fan through Amazon, or if you can pay cash we will do it for 80.00 instead. Amazon charges us a 20% service fee so we can offer a cash discount.
We are so far behind schedule my wife has time to stop and grab the money on the way home from work. Right before he leaves he comes back and says Hey I don't have a screwdriver to put the batteries in the remote. He then leaves without testing it, so we had no idea if it would work. Needless to say, the remote won't sync with the system he installed so I call them up and ask them to fix it or remove the unit so we can send it back.
Chris comes out again, this time, he doesn't have a ladder, even though he needed one the first time, so we let him use ours. (What kind of a service comes without a screwdriver or a ladder?), tests the unit, then tells me Because the unit is defective we have to bill you 65.00 for the hour I was here, but not to worry Amazon will most likely cover the error because the unit was defective. So now they want Amazon to pay us back for their mistake.
His office calls to bill us and I ask them Why are we paying you to remove something that you didn't test on installation. If the tech actually tested the unit and didn't just leave, then we wouldn't be having a second service call. She says, Ok I'll call the owner and ask what we can do.
Less than five minutes later Chris shows back up at my house asking me, What's the problem, and that it was ok to bill us because we let him leave without testing it. It's not only extremely unprofessional to send a service tech back to your front door (not to mention the same one that didn't test the unit) to try and argue on behalf of the company, it borders on intimidation. I wouldn't agree that it was our fault that he didn't test the product he installed and I asked him to leave. The then promptly charged us the 65.00 for the hour. I will never be using Amazon's Home Services again; I'll stick with hiring my Rosie on the House certified contractors.
2:00pm I added this in response to the owners comment.
I can tell you for us the service was nothing like 100% satisfied. It doesn't do me any good to yell at a technician coming to my house for being 2.5 hours late, it does let me know that maybe the company I am working with isn't 100% reliable. It doesn't do me any good when I tell the tech that I have a screwdriver available to put that batteries in, and he says it's fine and goes home. It wouldn't have done me any good this morning to send the man away because he showed up without a ladder when I had one he could use. It definitely didn't do any good to ask your company to make the service call right, because then I had a tech show back up at my house to blame me for his inability to put in batteries, and properly test something he installed.
The good news is there are companies out there that go above and beyond to make things right. Amazon refunded us your service fee of 65.00 and for the remote within the hour when we emailed them. Personally, I was shocked that they would cover a fee, that should have never been charged. It wasn't Amazon's fault we picked the wrong company off of the list to have come to our home. None of that mattered to Amazon, they made it right, and did it quickly, securing our continued business with them for a very long time.
As for offering to put in the new remote for free well I think you can see how we might not think of that as a plus. The last one cost us part of the initial 80.00 (fan installation), and an additional 65.00 (due to reasons listed above).
I appreciate the quick response to my review but fixing the issue when I called and spoke to your company would have been better. Instead, I talked to someone on the phone that said she would talk with the owner, had a technician show back up at my house to argue the point (which is not great service or professional), and then got a call three minutes later to pay because you felt it was due regardless.
Again I can't say enough good things about Amazon for erasing most of what turned out to be a horrible experience.
2:37pm Finally made it back in my bedroom tried to turn on the fan to take a nap and it doesn't even turn on manually now.
2:55 After a little investigation it seems the tech wired the fan to a different wall switch for the light and the fan, which he didn't do before. We are hiring another company to check the work.

Juan and the entire G&C construction team were some of the best contractors I have ever worked with! When searching for a company to remodel our kitchen I reached out to multiple vendors, and G&C was by far the lowest, while also taking the most time to work with us on our design and plan out everything we needed. The remodel included a total demo of the old kitchen, installation of new cabinets, electrical, granite countertops, and a back splash. The quality of their work was second to none, and they finished the project on time and on budget. We love out new kitchen and will be reaching back out to G&C every time we have any other home improvement needs!

Outstanding job and extremely impressed with this company. What I really liked is they have their own company workers that do the work and not subcontracting or picking up extra help as the job requires. They are very busy and had to wait a few months before they came out the the entire bathroom shower renovation was superb. They were professional, efficient, and respectful to include cleaning up well afterwards. My definite go-to renovation company and you won't go wrong hiring them. Thank you.

Jeff and the team are great! They helped us build a HIGH QUALITY dream home and we couldn't be happier! The city of Surprise was difficult to work with and Jeff helped us through all of the difficult permits and inspections. Jeff also got a better price on our cabinets and really had our best interest throughout the build. Crystal, Tom, Steve, Anthony and Aaron were so helpful and nice and the sub-contractors did a great job (especially Brandon and his team of electricians). Thank you for everything!! We recommend Gorilla to everyone!
