Best Electricians in Arizona

Dylan Electric Electrician
I found Adam through a internet search for local electricians that had solar experience.  I was looking for someone with low overhead and who would allow me to be involved in the process.  I had Adam come out and talk about the Solar project I had envisioned.  This was not a run-of-the-mill 5KW system, I wanted to a 100% offset of my large home, with arrays on both my home and RV garage and I did not want to pay the $55-$60k I was quoted from pretty much every established solar company I had approached.  To me it seemed like the profit margin was way too high with those companies and none of them wanted to do the custom design I had envisioned.  They just wanted to slap 75 panels on my wide-open EAST facing roof to get me to 100% offset, because it was more convenient for them, even if it was very inefficient and more costly for me.  Adam listened to my entire hair-brained scheme and said, We can do that.  So, we were off to the races.  I pitched in a lot of the planning, permitting, and purchasing labor and that allowed Adam to focus on the labor/installation and kept costs down.  I ended up with a Cadillac system for a Hyundai Price. Saved more than 50%.  My APS bills have been $25/month for the last year.  Best of all, Adam was fun to get to know and work with.  He worked hard and didn't cut corners.  If you want the easy button method and pay for that luxury...call Telsa or Sun Run.  If you want a great system, a quick ROI, and are up for a little adventure...Call Adam!

Two Sparks Electric Electrician
Michelle came to my house a few months ago to add an outlet to my laundry room and again another time to give me a quote for the rest of my house. We had been in contact about scheduling a time for her to come and actually do the work but out of nowhere she stopped returning my texts and phone calls and now I am in the processing of finding another electrician. I'm super disappointed.

Arbor Lighting Designs Electrician
We just moved to Arizona and was looking for an electrician. It seemed like every electrician was either just to busy to respond or don't have any time for small projects. However I came across Tom and that was THE best thing that happened. Responsive, reliable, and reasonable. And to top it off he is funny and has a great personality.  He was able to install everything same day without a problem. THANK YOU so much for your great work!

Mr. Sunshine's Home Services Electrician
Sorry to say our experience with Josh Males's services was far, far below what we expected. We had his company rewire our home. It was almost a complete rewire. The team he sent out here were new to his company and did not have any written information as to what we had agreed upon for the job, nor did they as yet have the tablets that were intended for use by his people. The job they did do was a sorry excuse for the job. First, one goal of the job was to properly encase junction boxes in the attic. They did not do this and had to correct it, which they did on New Year's Eve. Secondly, all of the circuit breakers in the box were to be replaced. When we attempted to use an outlet in the master bedroom it did not work. My husband removed the circuit breaker attached to that outlet only to find it cracked. They came back and fixed it. Each bathroom was supposed to have its own circuit, but they were on the same one. Josh himself came back and fixed it. When my husband opened the GFI to install another outlet in the bathroom, he found that it was not correctly grounded. My husband fixed it. They were supposed to supply wiring for a new electric water heater. They supplied a wire, but it didn't even have a box. I believe we had a handyman come and install a box. We found multiple wire nuts that were loose. We found one kitchen outlet not connected to a GFI as per code, they came out and fixed it. Josh told me he would cover a permit up to $300. He got a permit, but not for a rewire. I was forced to go to the city myself and get (and pay for) the proper permit.
I did not specify which type of switches to use in the rewire, thinking that they would automatically choose the newer style larger rocker switches seeing we were attempting to modernize our wiring. Josh did not ask what we wanted and installed the old style switches.  We agreed later that Josh would replace the outlets with the newer style and that I would pay for the hardware and Josh would cover the installation. He charged me $300, which is far more than the cost of the outlets.
When we agreed upon the job, I requested that they run the existing coax in the cable in the wall, which they did. When we had problems with the internet, I paid for Josh to come and install a new setup in all places except the wall, which had been repaired after the rewire. We still had problems with the internet. I called and they didn't even answer my call. We did not get it fixed until this fall when we had Cox come and install. The installer told us that he found that we were using an old Direct TV outlet in the attic and he fixed it. Since then we have had no problem with the internet.
In conclusion, they did a very poor job originally, got tired of fixing their own work, and did not act in good faith. I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews, but this one is well deserved.

Tymeson Electric Electrician
If I could give Tymeson more than 5 stars, I totally would!!! We had an outside electrical outlet that needed replacement as it was seriously outdated and would push back into the wall every time you tried to plug anything in. When we got quotes, Bruce (who's the owner of the business) was the only one to mention if it wasn't already GFCI, we'd need to swap it out with a GFCI outlet. Perhaps other companies would've done that anyway, and perhaps they wouldn't have, but I wouldn't have known about it, had Bruce not mentioned it. To me that spoke to someone who not only does work correctly, but someone who also has safety in mind. That made me feel confident that Tymeson was a solid choice! When Bruce arrived for our job, he was on time and very personable and professional. At the end of our job he used a vac to clean up any dust remnants left behind and also installed an in-use outlet cover. When he was done I asked him about our outside fuse box in which the panel was not secured and if he thought it needed to be replaced/upgraded in the future. He thoroughly looked everything over and said it all looked good for our household needs and that all it needed was a panel screw to secure the panel - which he had on hand and quickly fixed for us at no extra charge!!

Huge added bonus, Tymeson is a veteran owned business!!! Not only do I love supporting veteran owned businesses, but have found a level of integrity/honesty and quality of work that gives me the peace of mind for ANY project I need done. I could go on and on about how wonderful Tymeson was in the short interaction I had, but see for yourself...I think anyone would be happy in choosing them for their project, big or small!! We definitely will be calling Tymeson for any future projects we have!! Thanks Bruce!!

The Mighty Electricians Electrician
I had this company come out a few months ago to replace some interior light fixtures. While they were more expensive than I thought was necessary, the technician was wonderful and I was very happy with the work and his friendly attitude.

I reached out to them again recently to have them install a new ceiling fan on my back patio. I called three times over the course of two weeks and still have not heard back. I assume they're using a third party scheduling service, so I don't know if the breakdown is with them or the main office, but I'm not going to chase them down. I'll be using another contractor that respects my time and responds accordingly.

Watt Masters - Expert Solar Installers & Electricians in Phoenix Electrician
The work performed exceeded my expectations.  Got three quotes and the cost was very reasonable. Half the price of the big company, and provided recommendations that we had not thought of.  Tom did a fantastic job.  First, getting the microwave above the stove on a separate service line was a necessity as it solved the circuit breaker resets.  The new recessed LED lighting in place of the wall-mounted fixture in the bathroom is working great and it looks spectacular.  We had an outlet moved from the bathroom to the vanity on the other side of the wall and had another outlet added in its place in a more functional location, both on a new service line.  The new light feed for the vanity will work great for the added second sink.  He pays attention to detail.  The outlets are aligned perfectly, even the slots in the screws of the cover plates are aligned parallel !!

Third Street Electric Electrician
TERRIBLE!!!  Sead came out, promised to add LED lights, add new switches and to install 3 new outlets. Sead came and did not have all the parts needed so I had to go and get what he forgot to get, I had work to do but had to play errand boy for him most of the day.

The lights went in ok, some were missing the guts after he left so we had to beg him to come back to fix things. The switches were installed as well even though he made the holes too large for the beauty plate.

Sead also made 8+ holes in our walls to try and get the wires down the wall, we were not expecting this nor were we told about this and when I asked who was going to pay for it he said not me. Lots of pictures to show the damage he caused.

Sead also failed to install an outside receptacle as we hired him to do and when we ask him about it a day or two later he get mad and said we never had an agreement to do that, we did, and that he would charge us $75 to do it! Sead installed the other two outlets but just left the wires in the box and not wired into anything! We have photos of that too. He said we only hired him to do a rough in what kind of non sense is that?! I hired an electrician, a professional, to do a complete job not half done.  We have now filed a BBB complaint as well as a open complaint to the registrar of contractors and will go after his license to make sure he doesn't screw anyone else over.
