Fantastic service and quick availability! I found myself in a bind and hired J Ryan Electric based on a referal. I want to share a big THANK YOU to Jeff for fixing my sliding door! Since I moved in a few months ago, it continued to get worse to the point it wouldn't lock or even close all the way. I am a new Efficient customer, but a happy one all the same. I had some wiring issues with an addition. (Kept blowing the breaker.) . The tech was able to come out, diagnose my issues and repair them in short order. He said wiring problems are common in older places like mine. He is such a pro! He was fast, friendly, and fair. He gave me a quote on some lighting I've been thinking about having done, too, and it was way more reasonable than I would have guessed.

I grew up with electric, even memorized our state's electrical code as a young kid when I helped my dad install electric in a new summer home.  So I tend to do everything by myself.

But over the past 25 years or so I've had to resort to using someone else due to work travel. First two were horrible, I had to fix their poor work. We got lucky with Trinity around 2000 and have used them ever since.

Very responsive and knowledgeable! After the storms we lost power to several outlets.  We called Wahlborg After hours and left a message. Wasn't expecting a call back until the next business day however we got a callback that evening with a message explaining some troubleshooting we could do.  AJ was able to make time to come by the next day to assess and was able to figure out the problem within minutes and didn't gouge me with a trip charge.  Awesome service and we would recommend him to all our friends and neighbors!

I called because a GFI breaker kept tripping after the rain.  Kurt thought it might need to dry out, and it'd be okay.  He was right.  Helped me out by phone, no cost, and a great helpful attitude.  I'll sure call him for my next project!  Thanks again!

We needed a ceiling fan replaced, but we wanted the AC wire run through the attic to a switch on the wall, replacing the wire that looped across the VAULTED ceiling and down to a wall outlet with a switch in the wire. Frank came out and after I went with him into the attic, I didn't think it would happen. No space to move and ductwork in the way. Frank poked around some more up there and found a way. About an hour and a half later our new fan was spinning. Frank even put in a dimmer type switch so we could control the speed of the fan at the switch. Put in in extra wire cable to the fan, in case we ever want to add lights later. Frank was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to use Fox Valley again and recommend them to all.

(BTW regarding price, Frank showed us a range of prices from too expensive to reasonable, I thought. The too expensive prices included services I didn't need or want and extended warranties I never buy anyway. I choose the price that basically just covered the job at hand and nothing else. I am happy with what I paid. This was no job for a handyman, I needed a professional for a difficult installation done cleanly and to code. I didn't expect to pay handyman prices. I knew about the minimum charge to come out and look at the job, good thing I hired them anyway. I know a lot of contractors charge a fee to come out and look (not everybody has free estimates) but I I think if they could improve one thing they shouldn't charge or charge so much just to go out and look at the task, or give a better approximation to the client of the real charges before they go out.

I have a home business in a room with very little lighting. I'm so happy I found Mauser Electric! I called and spoke with the manager who was friendly and knowledgeable ( I learned they are a locally owned business)  and they did not disappoint. The owner gave me options based on his expertise. Within days I was scheduled and project completed! I swear my room was cleaner after they left than when they arrived. They are affordable, friendly and I absolutely recommend Mauser Electric for any and all Electric needs.

I used Harmon Electric to replace four old electric meters and fuse panels on a fourplex that I own.  I invited four vendors to bid:  one failed to bid or follow up, two gave me competitive bids within hours of their visit and Harmon Electric took more than a month to put a bid together.  Despite the fact that they were a bit more expensive and took far longer to prepare a bid, it was apparent that they had carefully evaluated the special circumstances of my property - including contacting both the city and APS engineering beforehand.  They were very thorough.  Despite the fact that they had permitted, pre-aproved and engineered plans, the city inspector came back and made them swap the boxes out to for larger capacity.  It was more expensive for them, but they ate the difference rather than trying to pass on it to me.  There was a scheduling glitch which they also owned and gave me a reasonable credit to accommodate for the miscommunication.  They communicated very well and professionally and were obviously held in high regard by both the city and APS personnel which gave me a great deal of comfort that I wasn't dealing with another fly-by-night tradesman.  Highly recommended.

These are the most caring awesome people. This is a family run business that cares about YOUR family not just money as other companies do. They want to take care of you and your loved ones belongs and home with care and up most respect.

I wouldn't give them a 1-star .... but had no choice.  
Their work was faulty.  They do not stand by their work.   Do not return calls.  Their technician took a ceiling fan down to check the electrical.   It had be hanging just fine for 7 years.  He RE-installed it and it fell off the ceiling 3 weeks later and hit floor narrowly missing our dog, damaged the floor and footboard on the bed ...... and .....   they said it was NOT their fault.   It was ours.  
Think twice before calling this company.
