These guys are legit. Have had them come out a couple of times and every time they've been quick to respond, easy to schedule, reasonably priced, and got the job done with no problems. What more can you ask for? Would definitely recommend.

I had a new dishwasher installed (by the appliance dealer, not by E&J), and it turned out that the existing water connection did not fit. Worse, the old shutoff valve was leaky, so once the old dishwasher was removed, the water kept leaking, and I had to turn the water main off.
So here I was, with a new dysfunctional dishwasher and no water in the house.
I called E&J around 1 pm, and they said they could send someone the same day between 3 and 5. At about 4:30, Ray showed up. In about 15 minutes he replaced the old leaky shutoff valve with a new one, hooked up the dishwasher, and turned the water back on. Simple enough.
I would say it was a bit pricy at $160 (including the part) for such a small job, but they gave me an accurate estimate on the phone, and considering the circumstances, the prompt service was worth the premium. And Ray is such a nice guy!

Excellent service.  I would give them more stars if yelp had more.  Reasons for 5 stars: 1. came within the time frame.  2. repair was very thorough. 3. good work at cleaning up.  Definitely would call them again  for future repairs and recommend to friends and family.  Keep up the good work guys.  Be safe and take care.

Our master bedroom showering set had been malfunctioning for a few years and we finally decide to fix it. We asked around and not many plumbers had the expertise to fix the set until we reached Michael. He suggested that we order a spare part from Rohl, and gave us a very reasonable quote for the cost of fixing.

Two months later, once the spare part arrived, Michael fixed the showering set quickly and smoothly within an hour, honoring the original quote. He was very polite and professional, wearing shoe cover, padding bathroom floor with soft towel, and always keep his mask on indoor. In addition, he kept necessary spare parts and tools for me just incase they are needed in the future. He also pointed out potential risk factors in my piping system and made some very good suggestions. Most importantly, Michael is very honest about what he observes, and even admit his misjudgment when the measurement does not agree with his original intuition.

I high recommend Michael and his business, and thank him for his great service.

Khao came over to replace the kitchen faucet. He did an excellent job- professional work. Khao answered all my question. Plus he was wearing boots covers that kept the house clean, and cleaned the the sink area after installing the faucet, a quality procedure we appreciate greatly. He asked if we wanted to keep old parts and offered to recycle for us if we didn't want. He also called the next day to check if everything satisfactory and working right. Highly recommended!

I called Local Rooter & Plumbing because we could hear water running in our bathroom even though no water was on, indicating we had a leak somewhere.  Within an hour, Johnny arrived to assess the situation (which was even earlier than the hour and a half time estimate I was originally given!).  He first crawled underneath our house through the VERY tight crawlspace and figured out that the leak was behind the bathroom wall, not underneath the house.  Because we have plaster and lath walls instead of drywall, he was very careful to minimize the size of the hole he had to put in the wall to get the leak fixed.  Amazingly, he had everything fixed within an hour!  Johnny was very knowledgeable and professional, and I would highly recommend him and Local Rooter & Plumbing!

Called for an issue with my toilets, and Ismael showed up within a couple hours. The fix required only tightening a valve, thus I was not charged. What a great company!

Joe has come to help me 2 times. Both times he was very responsive, and able to come help right away. The first time, it turned out I didn't actually have a leak and there was nothing to fix. He didn't charge me anything that day. The second time, I actually had a problem and put him to work! He joked that he'll have to charge me this time.
Nice guy! Will call again.

Day before New Year's Eve and my toilet is clogged and overflowing. So gross. I looked on Yelp and found this place. Called and talked to Marlon and he was able to come by within 1-2 hours and fix my issue! He and his employee snaked my toilet and figured out the issue and I was back in business in about 15 mins. So grateful he was able to come by on such short notice, I don't know what I would've done. He charged a very reasonable price of $135 and accepts cash/check. It's a cringey/embarrassing situation and both guys were super friendly and professional, will definitely use these guys again in the future!

We woke up to find a huge plumbing leak under our bathroom sink. United plumbing came very quickly and fixed everything. Great service, nice people. I highly recommend.

What a team! This is by far the best service experience I've had. Daniel came home and looked at the problem, his first approach was to put a camera down the line which others would charge $200+. He took his time to diagnose the problem and is a super honest guy who is genuinely there to help.

We had a big blockage and his team worked nonstop to replace our drain lines. The guys were super careful about not creating a mess, extremely polite and respectful of our home and not even a scratch anywhere. Think of it - they took 30mins to put paper, mats, painters plastic in all areas and even swept away everyday of the job.

Hugo, Alex, Antonio and Daniel himself worked tirelessly on the job. It's the best team we could have asked for. He knows his profession really really well and was the best priced by far. And top that off - his work comes with a 3yr warranty included. Simply incredible.

We woke up to a clogged kitchen sink on Mother's Day (2021).  That day didn't start well as not having a sink on such an important day is going to be a huge inconvenience.  I started calling plumbing companies and many were either not open or couldn't come on the same day.

On the verge of giving up, I stumbled upon Local Local Plumbing and I was originally a bit skeptical of the relatively few (but very good) reviews.  Out of desperation, I called anyway and the call was quickly answered by Steve.  I explained the situation to him and to my surprise, he said he could come as soon as noon once he finished his current job.

Steve arrived exactly at noon.  He was courteous and he listened attentively to not just my kitchen sink problem but also my long standing bathroom sink clogs as well.  He said he would take a look at the bathroom issues after he's done with the kitchen.

When Steve came into the house, he took off his shoes without being asked to.  He started working on the kitchen sink immediately and efficiently, and he kept the working area neat and clean.  Unfortunately, after trying two different snakes (25 feet), Steve concluded that the clog was deeper than the snakes were able to reach.  He asked about the availability of the crawl space, and he suggested checking out the pipe from the crawl space to find an alternate solution.

After Steve suited up for the crawl space, he went down and spent about 20 minutes assessing the situation from below.  When he came back up, he identified where the clog was and suggested to cut open that section of the pipe, cleared out the clog, and re-attached the pipe back.  He also offered the option of replacing the cut section with new pipe if the clog was too difficult to clear.  I thought this was going to be very expensive, but Steve gave me a very reasonable price.

After gathering all his equipments and materials, Steve went back into the crawl space again and started working on the new option.  While in the crawl space, he called me and kept me appraised of the progress.  After he was done in about 45 minutes, he stayed in the crawl space and called me again and had me prepare a sink-full of water and flush it down in one go so he can check for leaks.  I was very happy to see water gushing down the drain and no more clog.

When Steve came back up, he went outside the house to take off his now very dusty suit, tidy himself up a bit, and came back into the house to check the bathroom sinks.  He quickly identified the problem - he cleaned the drain stoppage on both sinks, and gave me some advise on how to regularly maintain the sink to minimize future clogs.

And Steve did not even charge for taking care of the bathroom sinks.  I would rate Steve a 6-star!!  In my 30 years of home ownership and being landlord to multiple rental properties, I have never come across a plumber as friendly, patient, respectful, and professional as Steve.  He is now on my quick dial.

Excellent service, prompt response and in time.  They replaced the part that was broken on my toilet to fix it from constantly running/or not flushing. Quick, easy, and low fee. Excellent service, I highly recommend!

It's all right there on the tin! I didn't think much of the #1 name, but they really are great plumbers. Reliable, communicative, honest and a great value. They do a great job and always make things right. Called them out for various things over the last few years and no complaints.

Great experience with Crown Plumbing! I found them on Yelp, called on Saturday to have someone come out for a slow draining bathroom sink. The earliest they could schedule an appointment was for Monday between noon and 2pm. I received text messages confirming the appointment, who the plumber would be (Manny), and updates on when he would be arriving.  
Manny showed up Monday a little after 1pm. He was very professional, friendly, and courteous. He did a great job, was very quick and thorough.
My sink is fixed and I'm happy!  Highly recommend!

Called them twice and both time they were very professional and helpful, and provided all the possibilities and recommendations I needed for the job to be done well. Their work was super clean and high quality. I didn't have to clear the area after them. I positively recommend them for anyone who needs help with plumbing.

Called Friday evening and They we're out early Saturday to make significant repair and restore water.

I called for service in Castro Valley, and the gentleman that I spoke to informed me that they don't service this area.  This was a complete fail, since both their website and Yelp info indicated that they do.  He mentioned that they only service up to Union City.  It would be great if they would update all of their info to be consistent and reflect their correct service areas.

I called about a clogged sewer line and Dave said he would come out within the hour.  He came on time and snaked the line clear.  Good service and pricing.  Thanks to our neighbor who recommended them based on prior experience.
