I've used Fuse before and they did pretty good job. However the recent experience was quite disappointing.
The technician was either dishonest or didn't know their trade. Their diagnostics was replacing my entire heating/cooling system, when the problem was a small malfunction that costs 5% of the proposed project. I was disappointed how the service quality has degraded.

Update to review: the owner called and refunded the diagnostics fee after the complaint. So one star for the diagnostics, but 5 star for the follow up.

We hired The leak Detection Company to find a water leak in our concrete slab house in Redwood City when other company was trying to brake concrete all over our house the technician from Leak Detection Company find exactly where the problem was and we where available to repair it a much better price, no doubt about it they know what they where doing  very trustworthy company.

Water heater started leaking and no hot water.  Called in the morning and Redwood came that afternoon and installed a new heater. Fast, professional, reasonable,

Excellent service by Eliel and Jose! Both were very professional and efficient. Unclogged the washer drain pipe in a swift and gave recommendations to replace old copper pipes and corroded shutoff valve.

Steve Davis of Davis Plumbing was unbelievably helpful over the phone (he called us back right away) in diagnosing a curious plumbing problem. Originally we thought it was the water heater, and we were ready to buy a new one., but it turned out to be the recirculating pump. He saved us lots of time and money! I had a leaking water heater.  The plumber came within 15 mins of calling them.  It turns out a drain pipe was just loose and they tightened it up.  I tried to pay them for the service call , but they wouldn't take it.  I will call them again anytime I need a plumber.

OMG, Alex was amazing! I called three plumbing companies, because I had several jobs around the house that needed doing. I was afraid it was going to be expensive, and I wanted to get several quotes. The first company wouldn't come out to look, but gave me a base price of $600 based on my description of the jobs, saying that it could be a lot more than that and would take a minimum of two to three hours. The second company still hasn't called back.

Alex was out here two hours or less after I called and took care of all of the jobs in half an hour. Even better, he actually showed me how I could fix one of the problems by myself. And best of all, the price was way less than what the first dude had quoted me. I AM SOLD ON COMMANDO PLUMBING, and especially on Alex!!

Advance Repipe specialists did a great job of repiping when they say one day repipe they weren't kidding! It took the crew 8  hours to repipe the entire house.  We were without water for only 8 hours start to finish! The crew was very professional and nice, and cleaned up whatever mess they made very thoroughly. We had 2 other appointments to patch up the sheet rock.   We now have clean water with no rust I recommend them for any repipe job.

They say they also specialize in general plumbing. Any reason why knowing how to fix water pressure isn't part of being part of general plumbing? I read the specialties about this place and I'm pretty sure trouble shooting low water pressure is included.
Then, they take down my name and number to refer me to a plumber that they know. What?? Whatever, and then they never call back. Waist of time

The current more than 10 years old water tank got water leak to floor. Looking for quick service in the market, Alex is one response and offer same day service with tank purchased from home Depot. Arrived on time and detail description to whole process and out-of-order parts replacement suggestion. He performs the state of the art skill and also fixed the previous incorrect installation. Within 3 hours, the new water tank was replaced and back to working status. Highly recommend to use the service.

All I can say, is very impressive. William, the owner, arrived promptly before the promised window. He took care of the problem in less than an hour. He quoted a price and did not go above it. He provided above and beyond service doing extra work to explain where the problem was. Definitely definitely definitely a reliable plumber to go back to.

Two years ago they installed a new water heater for me.  I was out of state traveling and we have a tenant so I had to get it done on the spot.  I paid these guys $1250.  The water heater came with a six year warranty.  Two days ago the thermocouple went out and we had no hot water.

The manufactures warranty card said I could call the installer and they would be able to take care of the warranty details.  So I called them, and told them I needed a warranty repair.  They lady on the phone looked up my info to confirm they installed it and that it was under warranty, then said she would squeeze us in the next day.

When Jason the technician arrived he had a poor attitude.  His first comment to me was they were not even supposed to be there doing this warranty repair.  I was a little stunned but figured I would leave him alone and let him do his thing.  

After the work was done he presented the bill for $145 and I noticed he had charged me for the part (which was supposed to be under warranty)!  When I asked Jason about this he dismissed me saying I had to call the manufacturer directly in order for the part to be covered under warranty.  I guess he's never read the warranty card on the water heaters he installs.  I complained but didn't fight him over it because the part was $25 and I just wanted hot water, but I felt bait and switched and taken advantage of.  

I would not recommend this place to a friend.  The only reason i am giving them two stars instead of one is he did find a small gas leak right by the water heater while he was fixing it.  That was appreciated.

I highly recommend Plumb Tech.  We have a rental in San Jose and are out of town landlords.  Anytime I call Ivan for a plumbing issue at the house he is on it within a day and works with my tenant's schedule.  His prices are super reasonable too.

We used George Allen plumbing in January to fix a bathtub/shower faucet that was stuck. The plumber was quick, in and out in less than an hour. Bill came out to about $166, about $40 was the replacement part. I wish I made that much money for less than an hour's work! I'm in the wrong business. Anyway, the faucet works great now.

I had a great experience with Rocky's Plumbing and Rooter.  A previous company had left me in a terrible situation and unhooked my hot water tank, leaving me with no heat. Rocky's came out and diagnosed the problem again, got my heat started and made a follow up appointment to do minor repairs. I am with American Home Shield and he worked with them to get my water heater working but didn't try to upsell me on a costly replacement when it wasn't needed.  He advised me on what to look for and when it would need to be replaced.  I will definitely be calling Rocky's Plumbing and Rooter for all of my future plumbing needs.  I found them easy to work with, reliable and quick to respond, plus great service at excellent prices.  And very efficient at working with my home warranty coverage which is most important since that's what I'm paying for to not have these costly repairs.
