I generally don't write a review.  But this time I am extremely disappointed with the service I received.  My 6 years new GE washer stopped working a few days ago. I found Fuse based on many very good reviews for its services and decided to hire them to fix the washer.  When I talked the appointment scheduler, I asked whether the technician has experience fixing washer.  The lady said yes and very experienced technician.  Watching the technician spent 90 minutes trying to identify why the washer wasn't spin.  During that time, he does not seem knowledgeable at all and I lose the confident on his ability to fix the washer.  When he finally told us about the issue he said it maybe the motor or control board.  I did not feel he know what he was doing and should not be charged for an uncertain issues that caused the washer not spin.  The estimated costs to fix it about $900 which is crazed.

Update my previous review - Kevin from Fuse called me shortly after the technician completed his diagnostic on the job.  Kevin listened to my concern and immediately offered to have another technician came out last night to take another look.  Sergey, the lead technician, showed up on time in such a short notice.  He was very  knowledgeable and did a detailed assessment.  He actually reached the same conclusion as the first guy came out and advised me that it will cost us more money to fix it than buying a new washer.  We decided to get a new one based on Sergey advice.  I am a happy customer of Fuse.  Although Fuse did not fix my washer for us, they focus on customer satisfaction and help me to understand the issue.  I will definitely hire them again next time.   Thank you guys!

I received a notification of excessive water use and potential leak via email and text. Checked and observed for a few days and, sure enough, the amount of water used was triple the average we normally see. After checking the house and ruling out the sprinkler system, I suspected an underground leak in the pool plumbing.
Contacted the folks at The Leak Detection Company and from the first interaction on the phone I was impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism exhibited by this company.
After setting the appointment, they showed up right on time, brought some sophisticated equipment and took the time to explain everything they intended to do and how this equipment detects leaks. After performing their magic, they located the problem area and offered several solutions. I took them on the offer to fix the leak, which they did, demonstrating excellent knowledge of their trait.
More importantly, these are really nice people that take pride in what they do. They are very reasonably priced and truly care, which is something we do not see very often these days. If I ever need such services in the future, The Leak Detection Company will be my Go To company.

Well my old water heater decided to take a poop on me in the middle of a shower so I called around a few places and everyone either didn't answer or was booked out a week. When I called Redwood Pipe Britney answered the phone (super nice!) she said that Mike the owner could come out that day and see what needed to be done. Mike arrived 2 hours later and waisted no time  looking over the old water heater. As I expected it was installed by the previous home owner incorrectly and that was part to blame of why it failed. Mike gave me a few options on what i could do and ultimately I went with his recommendation on getting an on demand heater. They scheduled me for the next day and I had hot water by that evening!! It's been 3 months now and I've noticed a reduction in my electric bill and the heater works like a champ. Thanks Mike and team for doing such a solid job! Come back for coffee anytime :)

Rich Briscoe is an honest and reasonably priced plumber who unclogged our kitchen sink Friday. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. I am happy to recommend him to others.

I called him up to ask about the cost to flush a hot water heater and he asked how old it was. Since my hot water heater is from 2004, he didn't recommend flushing it out. Due to age and likely significant sediment, it could stir it up enough to clog up the lines.  He didn't think it'd be worth it for me and recommended to save my money for replacing the water heater, which would likely be soon.

He's honest and gives a good opinion and I really appreciate that! Will call him when it breaks!

Nick is a South Bay Area gem.  He is a remembrance of time gone by...those originally from this special area (South Bay) remember when work was done with people who felt like your neighbor!?! That's Nick.  He went above and beyond for us in so many ways...he even requested to come to the store with my other half to make sure the selection would work after a 2 hour job turned into a late night 6 hour job.

This guy is the real deal.  He's a talented plumber who at the end of the day doesn't make you feel like it's a corporate exchange.

I had an emergency plumbing situation during a compression valve swap where the water could not be fully shutoff to the house.  These guys answered and were able to get service out to me in about an hour.  I was ready to get absolutely hosed given it was emergency work but the rate they charged was completely honest and did not reflect any predatory markup like I expected.  In addition to this the tech was kind enough to lend me some plumbers putty and provide me some tips on the remainder of my installation/project (Tech was Juan Chavez.)  This was overall a very positive experience and I'll be bookmarking them in my rolodex for any future issues.

Steve has done a number of plumbing projects for us updating our older home.  Recently I returned home to find a toilet leaking water all over our new hardwood floors.  I called Steve, who appeared within a couple of hours, stopped the leak immediately, and quickly repaired the plumbing.  Steve had the parts and the tools he needed in his well-stocked plumber's truck and the knowledge needed to do the job quickly.  Steve's quick work saved us a small fortune in hardwood floor repairs. Thanks Steve.  No wonder you are called the Master Plumbologist!

We have had On Time Plumbing come out multiple times as our house has aging pipes.  Every time we've had them come out, they have been professional, done good work and offered reasonable pricing.  If you are looking for a plumber you can count on to keep in your contacts as needed, I highly recommend them!

Our plumber showed up on time and fixed our sink that has been a constant problem. It works great and we will definitely call them back in the future if we have any other problems.

UPDATE:.
Unfortunately, I had to hire another plumber to finish the job. Summary of Advanced Repipe Specialist is below:

PROS:
* They worked really hard
* Great sheet rock work
* No leaks
* All new fixtures (look and work great)
* Fast and friendly quoting; Bill was very knowledgeable and efficient

CONS:
* They abandoned the job:
 - I had to hire a new plumber after 10 months of no work
 - I had to spend an extra $3,000 to finish the job
* They promised 1-2 day max to complete the first phase of plumbing work, but it took 4 days. That was difficult because I had only scheduled two days off work to keep the house open for them to work there.
* They left trash (excess pipes, pieces) under the house. It took me about two hours of crawling under the house to clean it up, which was required to pass inspection.
* Pipes were not secured correctly. Pipes fell down after plumbers left with no willingness to fix it. Another plumber was required to fix it and pass inspection.
* Too much up-selling, when working on plumbing
* The contract says the plumber will be there for inspections, but they did not show up.

Adrian was awesome, fast , humble and fixed our water heater in no time  Thank you Adrian for fixing our water heater today after having such a horrible experience with efficient water heater . When I got to the garage this morning, our water heater started leaking...I found this company on Thumbtack and they offered to come on the same day to fix it! He also provides a quote right away, very straightforward and transparent pricing. After quoting a few others we chose them because they offer the most reasonable price. Oleskii definitely knows his stuff - he told us the problem right away, the material cost, and overall itemized cost. All very clear and specific. He got the job done with no issue. Def highly recommended!

My initial call was greeted with prompt and courteous staff.  They scheduled my appointment for the next afternoon.  Their office called to inform me they had some scheduling conflicts & asked if a different technician could come by later in the afternoon.  (it was only 1 hour off the original time frame)  I said that would be fine.

Adam arrived as scheduled.  He was professional & trustworthy.  He gave me a quote for the work to be done while explaining each step and why it may be necessary.  Adam called the next morning, as promised, to schedule the work to be done.  

Once again, Adam phoned 20 minutes before to notify me he was on his way.  He completed the job as quoted, in addition to a couple of other small items.  

I would absolutely recommend San Jose Plumbing to anyone in need of an honest and reliable plumbing company.

Had a 15+ year water heater, noticed serious corrosion on bottom side of tank and decided to replace.  Initially thought would use Home Depot installation services, but was shocked at the quote estimate (included costs for permits, and several questionable upgrades).  I wanted to get the tank replaced over the holiday weekend and selected Plumb Tech based on high Yelp reviews (also they were the only company available that weekend!)

They did a great job - came out at the appointed time, installed the new water heater properly and did a good job at a good price (about 60% of Home Depot's estimate).  The next day there was a minor issue that needed attention and they came out promptly to resolve.  Ivan and crew were a pleasure to deal with.

Good, helpful service at a good price.  What more can you ask for?  Recommended.

Two different experiences with George Allen and Sons.  Butch was super professional and did great work on some plumbing repairs.  We really appreciate his work.  Our experience with Tyler wasn't very good.  We had an emergency issue, he took a quick look, and said he would get back to us if he could find the parts.  We didn't hear back for the rest of the day.  We went with another plumbing business and our emergency issue was resolved the same day.  We may give George Allen and Sons another try in the future as long as we can get a hold of Butch.

I had a great experience with Rocky's Plumbing and Rooter.  A previous company had left me in a terrible situation and unhooked my hot water tank, leaving me with no heat. Rocky's came out and diagnosed the problem again, got my heat started and made a follow up appointment to do minor repairs. I am with American Home Shield and he worked with them to get my water heater working but didn't try to upsell me on a costly replacement when it wasn't needed.  He advised me on what to look for and when it would need to be replaced.  I will definitely be calling Rocky's Plumbing and Rooter for all of my future plumbing needs.  I found them easy to work with, reliable and quick to respond, plus great service at excellent prices.  And very efficient at working with my home warranty coverage which is most important since that's what I'm paying for to not have these costly repairs.
