We tried and tried to get them to speak to us about fixing a washing machine.  The receptionist(s) were very hard to understand and kept asking us the same questions again and again.  We had a couple of quesitons for the technician, 2 minutes max, but they were somehow unable to connect us to anyone that could speak to our questions.  Go elsewhere.

As the owner of a water damage restoration company, I've had the privilege to work side by side with this leak detection company. Leak detection is a specialized industry that requires the right skills, right tools, and great integrity with its business practices. They also have a very fast turn around time. I've found the owner to be honest, skilled, punctual and knowledgeable in the field. This is why we heavily rely on their services when our clients need leak detection or a water damage source report.

We were really pleased with Redwood Pipe and Drain. We wanted to start moving into our new house and they were able to start the next week and tackle the whole job: new copper pipe, installation of on-demand hot water in different location, water softener, redo drainage, relocation of washer/dryer. His crew were friendly and they worked really well together. We were really pleased that Mike and his team did the work and left the yard just as they found it. The coordination with subs (electrical, sheetrock) was seamless. All that work an they were in and out in less than a week!

Over the years I've had several different plumbers come to my house to unplug the drains in my old house - built in 1961. I called Rich Briscoe and he was at my house to unplug my shower drain within an hour even though he had a full day of business already booked. He quickly assessed my problem and got to work. In the process he did what no other plumber has ever done that came to unplug my drains. He inspected the way my plumbing was constructed and showed me why I keep having the same issues. He described how my pipes should be replaced from old metal to new PVC because the old metal pipes get rusted up inside and create places for various things that go down the drain to latch on and build up whereas PVC is smooth and never rusts!
Rich has over 30 years of experience building plumbing systems, repairing, and cleaning them. With this plumbing construction knowledge he also was able to show me how if we just reconfigure our plumbing system things will flow much better and there will be less chances for the inevitable clog. Not only does Rich do great work he is priced reasonably and was the lowest quote I found after several calls. I finally found a great plumber. I highly recommend Rich Briscoe for any plumbing work!

I recently called this company to see if they would fix my water heater.  I was told he doesn't do jobs in Canada Cove where I live!  Why?  I'm only 2 miles away!

Very nice and professional. I called at 9:30 this morning and by 10:30 they were at my house to fix my leaking shower. They got the part and quickly fixed it at a reasonable price. It wasn't a tough fix, but I will remember the way they treated me and will recommend them to my friends.

I just bought a new home and, in the process of getting it ready to move in, I had the opportunity to meet Steve Davis.  While the home was new for me, it itself wasn't brand new.  So, there were several items that needed attention.  The home inspection reports detailed some of these.  But, in the process of reviewing the home myself, I found several more issues.

Steve worked with me to address the items originally detailed in the inspections.  But, as I found new issues, he came out and addressed each of the new items, too.

There were plumbing as well as grouting and caulking issues that needed to be addressed.  Steve made everything he worked on look brand new.  I'm very pleased with all of his work.  In fact, I'm glad I now know someone whom I can turn to when an inevitable plumbing problem arises.

My kitchen skin got clogged. Called them on a Friday morning. They offered me two slots for the same day. They showed up 5 min into their 2-hour appointment windows. They worked quickly and left in 30 min.

Sorry I can not longer modify my previous review. New news: after agreeing to a proposed solution to the ' no show' issue, we rescheduled the service. The guys showed up on time on a holiday (July 4 th).

To make a long story short, the initial estimate proved to be  low-balled and the amount of labor and materials would probably be way higher. We mutually agreed that the risk of that required more thought. So we cancelled the work order.

The response of everyone at Commando was very professional. I would now tend to recommend them. Sometime it takes a problem and its resolution to judge a company.

I can start by saying that use caution when dealing with these guys. The permit was pulled  11/1/16 and was finally signed off by the San Jose Inspector on 4/12/17.

Our experience started with the estimate.  The estimator (Bill) did a great job in outlining the process of repiping an older house and gave us our estimate promptly.  On wrinkle that we made was to request the installation of a tankless water heater a week before the guys arrived to start the project

The team arrived at the house promptly the first morning and started clearing out the old pipe and cutting holes in the walls to run the new pipe.  The guys worked quickly but I noticed that they were taking a shortcut by running the pipes that supplied the hose bibs through the vents.  Several vents were cut and I had them remove the pipes and run them through the exterior wall where they belonged.

Another crew arrived to repair the sheetrock.  We were satisfied with the quality of the work and our painter did not have any problems painting.

Everything was completed in four days and that is where things got bogged down.  The inspector ordered that the condensate from the tankless water heater was to be run to a gravel filled pit measuring 2'x2'x2' rather that on the concrete at the back of the garage. The inspector also required that they install a expansion tank near the hot water heater and perform a pressure test on the new gas line.

The crew installed the expansion tank and then called for another inspection.  It is important to note that they were not ready to perform the pressure test and had not dug the condensate pit. The reason the pit was not dug was because the owner of the plumbing company did not feel that is was necessary.

About a week later the inspector arrived for the third time and again asked to have the pressure test as well as have the condensate pit dug. The owner of the plumbing company argued with the inspector and the final word was that they needed to dig the condensate pit.

After numerous calls over several months the crew arrived and dug a condensation pit.  The owner came by the house and told me that he was digging the pit to Make me happy, I repeated to him that this was code specified and was what he needed to do. I felt that he still believed he was doing me a favor.

The fourth inspection failed due the how the pressure test was performed and how the condensate was run to the pit.  The owner of the plumbing company convinced the inspector to return later in the day.  The pressure test was finally performed and approved.

I made my final payment and hope that this is the last I will ever see of this company.

Adrian is a really nice guy! He is an expert in his field and conducts business in a professional manner. He replaced our 20 year old water heater because it had a water leak that was getting bigger. We would recommend him because he is not only knowledgeable, but he is easy to communicate with and is fair with his pricing.

When I got to the garage this morning, our water heater started leaking...I found this company on Thumbtack and they offered to come on the same day to fix it! He also provides a quote right away, very straightforward and transparent pricing. After quoting a few others we chose them because they offer the most reasonable price. Oleskii definitely knows his stuff - he told us the problem right away, the material cost, and overall itemized cost. All very clear and specific. He got the job done with no issue. Def highly recommended!

It was late on a weeknight, showers had been in use by my sons (as in these boys are the reason for droughts). The drains were all backing up. Of course this never happens at a convenient time and perhaps one member of our family went to a hotel nearby to use the bathroom. I digress. Suffice it to say, we were desperate. My former go-to plumber is super popular (another yelp review of mine and why I selfishly question doing yelp reviews on good people). I lined up a next day appt with a national company (with crap reviews). As some may know you can request services/bids through yelp and after not being able to reach a different company I decided to go this route. The cool thing is, you get bids from several companies. I immediately got a response from William, the owner. He was very kind, apologetic that he couldn't come that night, but willing to come early the next morning. Within minutes we had the details worked out. He showed up on time as promised, was very nice, quickly fixed the issue, and was affordable for showing up before most people wake up. I will definitely use this company again.

Woke up last Thursday to find our front street flooded, a valve had failed and we were unable to shut off the main valve into the house, so shut it off at the street.  They sent out Jose within hours who repaired the valve so we could have water in the house.  Jose came back the next day and did a lovely job replacing sections of old failing galvanized pipe with copper into a lovely configuration to allow us a substantial main valve.  He also replaced all of the old watering station valves that were failing with new ones and installed a new shut off valve to the stations up front.  I was told by a previous plumber some time ago that he wasn't interested in doing this work due to the age of the pipes, but Jose hung in there regardless of how frustrating it must have been and did a great job!

These guys are great, very honest and professional. Fixed my problem quickly on a Saturday at a fair price. I would most definitely call them again. Amazing service.

Karmonte was absolutely fantastic! I had a challenging issue with my leaking toilet pipe, but he tackled it with expertise and efficiency. Despite the difficulty, he managed to complete the job on time, showcasing his remarkable skills.
