Our experience with Fuse was excellent. We did a major refit of the HVAC and water heater in our Palo Alto home to replace two gas furnaces and one gas water heater with heat pumps. It was a big job that required the coordination of the plumbing (water heater) and HVAC groups at Fuse. Both were great. They showed up on time, were very knowledgeable about the units as well as the city codes that needed to be followed. It was a complex job (five splits with branch box upstairs and a single air handler downstairs, two external compressor units), and they worked hard on it for several days, 9am to 7pm. Over the course of the job, we dealt with seven of the crew (estimator, project manager, two water heater installers, two HVAC installers, and one helper). All of them were professional and courteous -- none of them ever entered the house without putting on their shoe covers. It was amazing how little mess they made -- despite the need to cut drywall and go in and out of the attic and crawl space multiple times each day, there was very little evidence of either. And they cleaned up and vacuumed up the dust/chips every day before leaving the job. Remarkably, the estimator (Frank) promptly answered my questions about the quote even though he was on vacation on a cruise! Our system is working well, the Mitsubishi units are amazingly quiet, both inside and outside the house.

Marcos and his team were incredible -- they were prompt, quickly located the leak, and managed to get it repaired in the span of an afternoon. Throughout the detection process, he explained what they were investigating and why.

We were really pleased with Redwood Pipe and Drain. We wanted to start moving into our new house and they were able to start the next week and tackle the whole job: new copper pipe, installation of on-demand hot water in different location, water softener, redo drainage, relocation of washer/dryer. His crew were friendly and they worked really well together. We were really pleased that Mike and his team did the work and left the yard just as they found it. The coordination with subs (electrical, sheetrock) was seamless. All that work an they were in and out in less than a week!

Rich Briscoe is an honest and reasonably priced plumber who unclogged our kitchen sink Friday. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. I am happy to recommend him to others.

I called him up to ask about the cost to flush a hot water heater and he asked how old it was. Since my hot water heater is from 2004, he didn't recommend flushing it out. Due to age and likely significant sediment, it could stir it up enough to clog up the lines.  He didn't think it'd be worth it for me and recommended to save my money for replacing the water heater, which would likely be soon.

He's honest and gives a good opinion and I really appreciate that! Will call him when it breaks!

Nick is a South Bay Area gem.  He is a remembrance of time gone by...those originally from this special area (South Bay) remember when work was done with people who felt like your neighbor!?! That's Nick.  He went above and beyond for us in so many ways...he even requested to come to the store with my other half to make sure the selection would work after a 2 hour job turned into a late night 6 hour job.

This guy is the real deal.  He's a talented plumber who at the end of the day doesn't make you feel like it's a corporate exchange.

Was having our Mother's Day celebration and our plumbing backed up. My Husband drove down the street as he had seen their van and asked if they could help out. Isidoro came right away and was able to snake our sewer right away which rectified the problem. Great job and quick service which enabled us to continue with our party.

I purchased one of those fancy Toto Washlet bidet toilet seats from Amazon, hoping that it would be a breeze to install it myself on my existing Toto toilet. But when I got it, I realized I had to unscrew the water line from the tank to attach the T-valve that supplies water to the Toto Washlet seat. Unfortunately, the design of the Toto toilet has the attachment point way up in the back of the tank and I could barely get my hands to reach up there, much less unscrew it.

So my options were to either return it back to Amazon and call it a day, or to get some professional help, as I suspect this might require removing the entire toilet from the ground to get the hose to unscrew.

I decided to give Commando Plumbing a go based on the nice reviews and the proximity late on Wednesday night - I was surprised that a few seconds after I submitted my strange inquiry that someone called me from Commando Plumbing - it was Sam, the owner! He was familiar with the problem and said he'd be able to get someone out there the following morning!

Come the next morning, Michael showed up (very courteous and attentive) and sure enough, figured out the only way to do this was to remove the entire basin. I was fine with the quote he gave, and 30-40 mins later (while I was still on my work call), he'd finished - not just removing it, but installing the Toto Washlet seat with everything all wired up and tested! Everything was clean and spotless as well, and couldn't tell that we did any work on it. Now my wife are enjoying warm butts while having our bottoms cleaned!

I would definitely have Commando plumbing on my quick-dial moving forwards for future plumbing needs - I think have may have a few more projects coming down the pipe!

I'm thoroughly impressed with these folks. We did a complete repipe of our 1961 built home and Ramiro and his crew knocked it out in two days. Working with Aaron with the estimate and scheduling was a  breeze. I highly recommend these folks. AAA+++

Believe the hype! Adrian is very helpful and a very cool guy. He just fixed our water heater in no time at all.

We called Adrian about our leaking water heater at 9:30pm not expecting anyone to pick up so late, but to my surprise, he picked up. He immediately started to guide me through the phone to diagnose the problem and patiently explained things the whole time. He even FaceTimed us so he could clearly see the problem.

Adrian came the very next day, promptly and in heavy rain!, with the part that he figured needed to be replaced, ready from the FaceTime call and pictures we sent him. And get this, he did it for free since it turned out to be a simple fix, even though he came prepared with parts in case it was a bigger job. No need for back and forth trips to get parts!

Honestly the best experience we've had after dealing with other people and highly recommended!

When I got to the garage this morning, our water heater started leaking...I found this company on Thumbtack and they offered to come on the same day to fix it! He also provides a quote right away, very straightforward and transparent pricing. After quoting a few others we chose them because they offer the most reasonable price. Oleskii definitely knows his stuff - he told us the problem right away, the material cost, and overall itemized cost. All very clear and specific. He got the job done with no issue. Def highly recommended!

The owner Billy Caceres was a pleasure to work with.  His response to my call was prompt and his estimate for my plumbing project was very fair.  His knowledge of plumbing fixtures is extensive.  He generously answered all my questions for possible future work.

I used SJ Plumbing for several jobs in the past year. Had an OK experience so I called them when I woke up to a gas smell in the house four weeks ago.  PG&E came out immediately and identified a leak in the crawl space.  The technician shut down the meter because it was hazardous and said to call them back when the leak is fixed. He was clear no one is to touch the meter and the leak can be found without the gas being on.

I called SJ Plumbing and they sent a plumber later that morning.  He was useless. He turned on the meter even though I told him PG&E shut it and he should be able to test without trying to turn on the gas.  He still said that he turned it on, then crawled under the house and came out to tell me there is no leak (he was using soap and looking for bubbles as he searched along the pipe).  I insisted there was one, so he finally said that he couldn't find it and gave me the number of another plumber who 'specializes in gas lines.  He handed me an invoice for $175 and left.  

I called the plumber he suggested who said he doesn't work on gas. After trying multiple people, I ended up with a leak detection company that came out and identified the leak WITHOUT touching the meter.  They were specific about what I needed to do ahead of their visit (cap the lines to appliances.)

As I learned, first, the meter was shut in the inside. For the plumber from SJ plumbing to tell me that he turned it on means that he either lied or didn't know what he was doing.  Second, according to the leak detection guy and the PG&E Technician who restored my gas line after the repair, the leak would be detected using pressure testing.  That is how the plumber needed to have done it. That basic soap stuff is not enough to find a leak in a pipe in the crawl space!

I called SJ Plumbing to explain my dissatisfaction and that I don't feel I should pay.  They got back to me that the fee was a Crawl Fee.  They charged me for sending someone with no skills or knowledge of what they should be doing, but nevertheless claiming that they do, and then insisting to get money for it.  A total rip off. A real shame.

My company does work with Ivan all the time. He is always on time and available when he is needed!

Tyler Allen was imperative to helping set up our grey water system.  We had consulted with multiple landscapers who were grey water specialists, but they were not plumbers.  We felt uncomfortable having the landscapers set up the actually plumbing aspect of the grey water system.  It was difficult to find a plumber with any knowledge of grey water, until we found Tyler.  He is incredibly knowledgeable about grey water systems, friendly, and did an excellent job.  For anyone interested in grey water I recommend you start with Tyler Allen, then have the landscape grey water specialists dig the mulch basins and complete the hook up to the plants.

Thanks Tyler for all of your time and insight!  We will call you again for all of our plumbing needs!
