We wanted a new furnace due to rising natural gas costs and requested several local quotes. First response within a day was FUSE Service. Made appts with 3 companies. Again, FUSE was first response and we met with and Frank Parsons. Frank spent over an hour talking about our requirements and his recommendations. At no time did we feel he was proposing more than what we wanted. The written FUSE quote included 4 furnace options and was very detailed. We met with the other companies and received their proposals which lacked a lot of detail and not as many options. The next day we made some detail and price adjustments with FUSE and approved the last quote. FUSE called 2 minutes after our online approval and stated a worker would arrive next morning at 9:00am. We assumed it was going to be a worksite assessment and work scheduling. 2 trucks arrive next morning at 9:00am with new furnace and 2 VERY polite workmen (David and Tony).

Trucks were unloaded and David and Tony commenced work immediately. They fully removed all old equipment, installed the furnace/electrical/gas connections, tested, insulated the new furnace, connected to our thermostat, and tested heat output at ALL floor registers. David worked literally the entire day (no breaks or sit downs) until he left at 6:00 after a thorough clean-up of our garage. Never saw ANY shortcuts, sloppy workmanship, work pauses.

In summary, it was a hot day, and we were very impressed with their work ethic and attitude. We would like to give a triple thumb shout out to David, Tony, Frank Parsons and FUSE for a well-executed job done very quickly and thoroughly!!! Thank you FUSE for an excellent job, and we highly recommend you guys!!!

We hired The leak Detection Company to find a water leak in our concrete slab house in Redwood City when other company was trying to brake concrete all over our house the technician from Leak Detection Company find exactly where the problem was and we where available to repair it a much better price, no doubt about it they know what they where doing  very trustworthy company.

I would highly recommend this company.  We are in the middle of a total remodel and could not count on the previous plumber to show up.  These guys stepped in, were totally professional and did what we needed, basically re-ran everything and hooked up our tankless water heater and scaler, in the time frame they had quoted.
Very impressed.  They came highly recommended from a General Contractor friend who lived near by....

You can't do better than Rich Briscoe for a plumber.  He responds quickly, appraises your needs thoroughly and accurately, explains exactly what he's going to do and why, and answers any questions expertly and honestly.  His prices are very fair as are what he charges for parts.  If he's got a spare of what you need he may not charge for it at all.  He's also very personable and while fixing or installing whatever it is in a jiffy he's never in a hurry and is very pleasant to talk with.

I've done business with George for years, and he will continue to be my first call whenever I have a plumbing need.

It is rare to find a good plumbing company with reasonable prices these days but this company has my vote. I had constant renovations and repairs in my condo in the last few years and I had horrible experiences with different plumbers but this company is the only one that did everything right. I called them for a pipe replacement and they responded quickly. Juan was very professional and quick. He fairly charged me for the work and it was perfectly done. I highly recommend this company.

Once again I had the good luck of having On Time Plumbing help me out with a plumbing issue I was having at a rental, and as before they earned the name On Time as you could set your clock by the time they showed up. It was a rather complex issue with the leaking pipes being in the wall. They were fast to give me an estimate that was very fair, and were able to start the job right away. Once they repaired the leaking pipes they discovered another problem in another area in the wall that was also just starting to leak, and I expected to pay more for this additional damage they had noticed, but they told me as a repeat customer they would repair that at the same time for no additional cost. I am just thinking why would anyone choose any other company????

Came on short order and sorted out my hell hole of backed up drains in a house that had sat for unoccupied for long enough to cause plumbing issues. My impression was that the job was more complicated than they anticipated and put more time/work in without charging me more. Gave good, clear explanations of what was wrong with the pipes and why, and I always appreciate explanations like that. Very nice fellows, thank you.

I called Advanced Repipe Specialist to get someone to come and give us a quote to replace our water pipes. I spoke to watch sounded like an older gentleman and told him my schedule to make an appointment. It was Monday and he said he had an appointment for Thursday but at a time I would not be able to make. He then said he will did not know if he could make an appointment for Friday morning at 9 AM he would have to check your schedule and let me know and I did not hear back from him.

Friday morning comes and the doorbell rings my wife and I were not expecting them as we have not heard back regarding the appointment. I mentioned that he did not confirm and he said oh you're the one I forgot to call back. I said apparently so he apologized and proceeded to take some measurements and look at what we needed to do. He then said he would have a quote for me within the next couple days. I gave them my email address and look forward to the possibility of doing business with them.

It has now been over two weeks and I've not heard one thing from them. I do not know if this is a regular behavior but after one miss hap I would think they would have a bit more vigilance for a potential customer.

I don't think this is a company I feel safe working with.

Amazing follow-up service from Adrian. Adrian @ Dependable installed a new water heater for us 11 months ago with just 12 hours turn-around after our 10-year+ unit failed. Last night the burner/pilot went out, and I was unable to re-start it. I called Adrian, who walked me through troubleshooting live on the phone, only to discover this was my (operator) error in relighting. He was patient, very clear in his instructions to help, and only at the end of the call did I know he was actually on holidays in the very early hours of his day when he took my call! Amazing follow-up service, especially as this was my user error. Thanks, Adrian!!!

The current more than 10 years old water tank got water leak to floor. Looking for quick service in the market, Alex is one response and offer same day service with tank purchased from home Depot. Arrived on time and detail description to whole process and out-of-order parts replacement suggestion. He performs the state of the art skill and also fixed the previous incorrect installation. Within 3 hours, the new water tank was replaced and back to working status. Highly recommend to use the service.

A few calls were made prior to contacting Total Plumbing.  Thank goodness another call was made when searching on yelp.  Excellent communication via phone and texts with appointment available on a Sunday.  Definitely recommend and saved the day with significant other finding her item in one of the pipes.

We have been using SJ Plumbing for over 10 years, and have been happy with their work.  So, we decided to get a quote from them for a property line clean out.  They were the middle bid, so we thought it was a no brainer to use them again.  

Once we committed to it, everything started going downhill.  The office told us it would be 3-4 days total. Day one was fine, both the plumber Jose, and Martin started digging away.  Every day we checked with them, their only comment to us was this is the hardest dig we have done in a long time They start late in the morning, take a lunch break, and rarely work past 5pm. At the end of the first week (5 days in) they were still digging.  I would have thought they would have brought in another laborer to help with the digging, but no, the two just kept digging.  

At the beginning of the second week, they finally called for a city inspection.  The soonest the city could come out was the following week.  We would never have known this unless WE CALLED THEM to find out what the heck was going on. They ended up having to pull another permit for work they did 10 years ago at our house, and this delayed the completion even longer. For three and a half weeks, we had an 8 foot deep exposed trench in our front yard.  They used extra lumber from around our yard to try and cover the trench (which wasn't very successful), we had to put up a barrier at our gate to keep our backyard closed off to keep our dog safe. Plus they killed 3 of my plants by covering them with dirt during that time. (How about asking me to move the plants temporarily)

We have done a fair amount of construction on our house and are well aware of the possibility of delays.  What really got me was the lack of communication from the plumber on the job, and the office to keep us informed. My husband works from home, so there is no excuse for not communicating with us. We had to call them while we were on vacation to see if the job had passed inspection.  The following week the office finally did call us looking for payment. No one from San Jose Plumbing ever contacted us to see how the job went and if we were satisfied.

They have lost a long time customer.  We are now looking for a new plumbing company.

I gave them two stars because the property line clean out passed inspection.

My company does work with Ivan all the time. He is always on time and available when he is needed!

We have used George Allen and Sons a couple of times and both times they provided excellent service.  This recent job they came out within one hour and fixed the issue right away.  I highly recommend their services if you are in need of a plumber.

Oh my Goodness Rocky and his assistant, Natalie are Amazing!!! My water heater was done after 14 years!!!
Rocky came out gave a reasonable estimate and BAM - hot water !!!! Thank you !!!!
