On time, fast, nice and the work is great. He fixed an on going problem and explained the problem and fixed it very well.

We have used Proven twice now and on both occasions they have proved to be far better than the rest we have worked with. They have the perfect combination of professional and accommodating folks for booking/cancellations, and some really skilled and reasonable techs who would much rather keep your business in the long term than make a quick buck off of you. This last Dec 2022 winter storm, we had a water heater (the only one in the home) give up on our renters in sub-zero weather. Proven was busy, so we had another plumbing service (probably among the worst we have come across) come by. Another review awaits them; they insisted on replacing the heater, claiming 25 year of experience to be behind that decision. Well, thankfully Proven called back shortly after, offered to treat it as an emergency, came out the next day, found out the faulty part and that it was under warranty (heater was 2 years old), and what's more they put in a temp fix so hot water could start immediately. Then they came back the next day and replaced the part. They took care of the warranty and all we paid was the trip fee, which by the way was $40 less than the other plumbing service person who was clearly out to make a quick buck off the winter storm.
TL;DR: Proven is top notch, without a doubt. We plan to stick with them for our home and our rental property as well.

Call these guys.  Professional and responsive.  Not only were they transparent about the fees upfront but Matt came in and immediately identified the issue and quickly resolved.

A backed-up toilet is gross but when it's the only toilet for an office-full, it's a nightmare.  After calling five or more plumbers, I called Rooter-Man and they sent Emilio out within two hours to open up our sewer line.  Their communication was unmatched, Emilio was super friendly and the cost came in hundreds less than the competition.  Yes, hundreds.  We had the same problem about a year ago and paid much more.  Thanks to everyone at Rooter-Man Plumbing.  You'll be hearing from us again!

Great Job and so timely on it all - We were very disappointed with another plumbing company that was assigned to do a job at our home that we had been dealing with for sometime . After a whole week of disappointments from the other company , we contacted Capital City plumbing upon request through our Insurance . Gabriel was amazing through such a quick assignment to get our situation fixed . He came out and did the job in such a timely matter and we are very very pleased on how he made sure we were understanding what he was to do and our expectations . I can say I would recommend Capital City plumbing as a highly professional plumbing service . Thanks to Gabriel!

We started getting some knocking noises in the house and and after looking it up, the symptoms pointed to possible sediment build up and the water heater needing a flush. Nick was my technician and began to flush the water heater but very little sediment was present. After checking over the pump, he explained some other possible causes of the noise such as pipes and some other solutions that I could take care of myself. He courteously offered to stop the flush and not charge for the visit. I accepted. Will definitely call them in the future for any plumbing needs!

Great company with integrity! We had a leak in the bathroom that seemed like it was inside the wall (paint peeled & there was a wet area in sheetrock). We called around & most plumbers told us we'd have to cut into the wall/sheet rock to find the leak. This was the only place that said they had a thermal camera & sonic device that could identify the leak without cutting into the wall. I started to mentally prepare for the huge cost to get this fixed.

When the plumber came out, he identified where the leak was coming from, and thankfully was not inside the wall. He then told my husband where the leak was and how to fix it since it was a very simple sealing job. We had no idea how simple this was. They could have taken advantage of that & charged us an arm and a leg to do this work, or a huge amount for using their thermal camera or sonic device (which they didn't need after all). However, it was clear that these guys are focused on fixing what needs to be fixed, taking care of the customer, educating us, and doing that with integrity. We will definitely use them again any time we need plumbing services.

Dave shows up on time as promised and does very professional work. He is not out to nickle and dime you, but out to earn you as a customer. He gives honest advise on whether something can be repaired or needs to be replaced. It was better to replace my old faucets than to try to repair and throw money down the drain. Pun intended! The next time that I have a plumbing issue, I will know who to call.

We called Abel to change out our bathtub/shower fixtures. He arrived on time as promised, very professional, and wearing a mask & booties. While changing out our fixtures he was able to take care of other last minute requests as well. We are super happy with his work & customer service and will be referring him to our friends & family!

We needed a new water heater as ours was very old and couldn't keep up with the demands of our household. Our water was constantly going cold after two showers in the morning and it made it very hard when we had guests because we had to split showers between morning and evening, to ensure enough hot water. We called Braulio and he recommended the brand of water heater we should purchase. We ordered it and he picked it up for us, installed the new water heater and removed and disposed of the old one all very fast. The price was reasonable he does good work. We had a question about the water heater the following day and he came back out to answer it for us and show us some details about the workings of the new system. We are very happy!

We had them out recently to try and figure out why we had a puddle in our yard. He was quick to get back to us, and we loved that he was located in Manor. We also appreciated his knowledge and honesty when he correctly stated that it was a problem with the city's water line. We will for sure hire him again if we ever have another need for a plumber.

Another plumber told me that I needed to replace my water heater.  One of the thermostats and elements had gone bad.  Jim was able to replace the parts without costing me the expense of getting a new water heater.  I was so happy not to have to pay thousands of dollars.  Jim is truly a nice person and knows a lot about plumbing.  He's very easy to talk with and takes the time to diagnose the problem and make sure everything is in good shape.  At every step he explained what he was doing and why it was necessary.  You won't go wrong if you call Jim.

After receiving 4 quotes, I hired Stan's to do a full HVAC replacement, including ductwork. I've held back on a review, as I'm not one to leave a negative review and I hoped my feelings would change, however, half a year later, I sincerely wish I'd gone with another company.

The installation was scheduled to be for 2 days. On the first day, the HVAC crew came to remove the old unit and the duct crew came to do an installation. Upon arrival, they said two things -- 1) They didn't understand why the project manager had scheduled for 4 hours/day over 2 days, leaving me without AC in June, rather than 1 full day. 2) There was no way the ductwork could be installed as planned. As I was talking to the duct manager to resolve the issue, I noticed and stopped someone starting to install weatherization stripping, which has been removed from the project weeks beforehand.

The technicians completed the work but said someone would be back the next day to balance the ducts, adjust dampers, etc.

I waited 3 weeks then finally I got them to return.

I waited several more weeks to get them to return to take pictures for the Austin Energy program taken for my rebate.

All in all, it took over 2 months for this 8-hour project to be fully completed. Not to mention, I was the project manager as I never saw mine again after I signed the 5-figure contract.

After all of that, I was supposed to receive a year of Gold Service Club for free, however, they've yet to come out for the Fall service.

I'm beyond disappointed. While Stan's has a strong brand name in the Austin area, they've sold to HEB's investment group and the service isn't the same. I'd suggest reaching out to another company in the area.

Our tankless water heater had been neglected for years. Another company said it would have to be replaced (even though it was working fine). Graham came out and assessed the situation and realized that it could be repaired and flushed instead of replacing. He saved us a great of money. Beyond that, it was a joy to work with him. He was even very kind with our dogs.

Yes, they are highly rated on Yelp which is why I called them to look at my water heater. They quoted me $2,025. I had called another company who is also rated 5 stars. They said it was a $1,600 job. I quickly called Plumb and Order to cancel and told them I got a much better quote and said no thank you. They were not pleased and came back to my house saying I owed the $195. Really? I told them that was crazy and to leave. They then loitered around my house. I finally gave them $100 to leave. Lessen learned. The company that did the job and were extremely professional. They did a great job! BTW, they only charged me $1,525.

I believe I've said enough. Just know you have been warned!

Raymond came out to troubleshoot our Navien condensing tankless water heater. It was a little bit tricky to troubleshoot because it was not heating consistently at low flow rates. The temperature would fluctuate up and down but never reach the setpoint. Raymond was patient and found how to reproduce the problem, and after a quick call to Navien tech-support he replaced the diverter valve (he had one in his bag already) and it was fixed. This is my first experience with Thunderbird plumbing and it was great!

We couldn't speak more highly of Mark. He services all our commercial buildings in the Austin area. Yesterday we had a plumbing issue that escalated quickly and Mark was extremely diligent in uncovering the underlying issue. He's patient, professional, on point, responsive, and an over all kind human! So nice doing business with this man. He is very experienced and has always been a huge help to our company!

We highly recommended Olvin and his right-hand man Ramon.  We hired them to demo our old ceramic tiles and install new wood like tile (6x36) throughout our entire house. They were very accommodating, polite and pleasant during the entire process. Scott was great! So helpful, friendly, and fast. Our bathtub hadn't been draining properly for months he fixed it quickly! He cleaned the bathtub, explained future maintenance suggestions, and was extremely polite!

I've never been so motivated to leave a review until now. Like others before posted, Nick is the ultimate professional, and extremely considerate of your time & money. We had quite a list of items to be addressed before they erupted into bigger issues, and Nick and his assistant managed to knock everything out within five hours & operated with quite a sense of urgency. He paid much attention to detail, even tidying each space after completing a task. Considering the amount of time required, and the parts needed, the total invoice was extremely fair. Professionals with this level of integrity & skill are few and far between. I would have been remiss not to take the time to recommend his services after having had such a positive experience.
