Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX

Brad B Plumbing was on time, fixed the issue (Thank you!) and saved us $ by suggesting I get a part ahead of time, and I really, really appreciate working with an individual.

The only feedback I have is:

1. It would have been appreciated to have received a phone call (or text) to confirm the appointment the day of the appointment. I didn't realize Brad's phone doesn't accept texts (he informed me after the job) - I sent a text asking to confirm and request that he'd wear a face mask.

2. It would have been appreciated had he worn a face mask.
Though I had asked my parents to be away from the house while he was there (and he knew this), he did not show up with a face mask and worked about an hour in the kitchen without  a mask on. Looking back, I will now specifically request this. The only reason I knew this is I was checking our ring camera to make sure my parents had left the house. I assumed since the front yelp page for his business states: Health & Safety Measures: From the business: +Staff wears masks... I wouldn't need to worry.

-I appreciate the concern for not calling too early, but I also didn't receive a call when you were finished. I called to verify why I didn't hear back by text (or call). I did receive an email invoice and receipt. Again, I appreciate the work and fixing the issue.
-As far as Covid-19 is concerned: This is straight from the CDC's website: People who are infected but do not show symptoms can also spread the virus to others.

I am so glad I found these guys! I had given up hope trying to find a contractor that I was confident could fix my issue and who wasn't trying to rip me off. These guys are honest, straightforward and good at what they do. I can't recommend them enough!

I just have to give a huge shout out to Gilbert at Blue Dragon. He has replaced both my water heaters and most recently replaced my Pressure Relief Valve. He does great work, at a great price and most of all is a genuinely nice gentleman who has always been super responsive and helpful when I email him with plumbing questions. He gives me very thorough information and I appreciate him so much. You won't go wrong calling him for your plumbing needs.

I have had TERRIBLE luck hiring any kind of contractor since moving to Austin. Rooter man is officially my new plumber! Kyle came and terminated a VERY old leaky spigot. He was fast, friendly and professional. They're service is affordable and I will use them again in the future!!

Asa and Ryan diagnosed our tankless water heaters after the snowpocalypse in February.  They were the 3rd plumber we called in two months after enduring cold water in our kitchen, laundry room and guest bath.  They ordered and installed a new recirculating tank which took special tools and a lot of crawling around our attack and troubleshooting.  Ryan went the extra mile and found a breaker to our pump had been shut off!  Now we have an abundance of hot water and feel confident we have some diligent professionals we can rely on to finish the job.

I had a leaking water spigot outside so I called EZ around 6 at night. They were able to come take a look the next day between 9-10. They called ahead as promised and arrived on time. We told them we live in a mobile home and they let us know that some plumbing with mobile homes they can not work on but that they would come take a look for free and fix it if they were able to. The estimate was reasonable and they got it fixed while they were here. They were very professional and I would not hesitate to call them again. Awesome job EZ!

We had one of their plumbers come out with one of the worst attitudes we have encountered working with tons of contractors and service providers over the past 20 years. I think it all depends on which plumber you get.  We ended up going with Zack Snyder Plumbing - best decision we made.

I requested a quote online and received an answer from David in less than an hour. We had some rusty valves on our washer box. He asked me to snap some pictures to assess the problem and then we made an appointment for him to come out. He was helpful, informative, affordable and did exactly what needed to be done to get our washing machine back in order.

I would highly recommend him to friends & neighbors.

I've worked with Abel twice now and have had great experiences both times! I had some pipes burst after the freeze last year and had Abel replace all of my pipes with PEX. At one point he had to use a sawzall to cut through a piece of wall and he said, I bet you didn't think a plumber could do that! Ha! :)

Abel is knowledgeable, reliable, friendly and a good communicator. I will gladly work with Abel again in the future and recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great plumber.

Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

We needed a new water heater (our old one was ancient and on its last legs). Jim was super responsive (same-day), and came out and gave us a very reasonable quote the following day. Our job was certainly not run of the mill, as the previous owners of our home definitely made shortcuts versus keeping things up to code. Despite the project taking much longer than he anticipated, the cost did not change. We feel super confident that the work Jim did will last for years to come. Also, he is a very friendly and affable guy - full of fun facts and interesting stories! He runs his business with honesty and integrity. Thanks again Jim!

In 2010, I had Stan's install a geo unit for me.  Overall, I was pleased with the install and the resulting customer service.  Somewhere along 2011 or 12 this company turned into Chris Strand's Stans with folksy commercials about treating people right and people reciprocating that sentiment by supporting the hometown boys instead of the national chain that became the national chain coincidentally with a large infusion of cash into Chris's (and hopefully, his mom's) bank account.  Well, he has this fellow named James that works for him and has made it clear that they no longer want to service me and they have met their minimum warranty obligation.

I know I live pretty far out, about thirty or forty minutes, (that happens to be about thirty minutes closer to y'all than Marble Falls, which you advertise as serving and a LOT closer than south Austin during most of the day's traffic) but I also paid a premium price for a premium unit.  So, being a pretty non confrontational fellow, I'll cut my losses at a few hundred dollars in service calls and the time it takes to pen a 1 star review and send my business on this unit, and the house I'm building this year to southwest mechanical out of San Antonio. I'm sure that the entire Stan's family, but especially James, will be glad to never have to accept another phone call or another $25,000 check from me again (hey, geothermal is Cadillac, baby).

If you need a freon charge, and you live no more than about 30 min from North central Austin (or in Marble Falls) these guys, I imagine, will fit the bill. Don't forget though, those commercials get paid for somehow and there are a lot of good, local guys out there without the advertising overhead.  

If you are serious about geo thermal or vrf, please, do yourself a favor and go with an outfit that wants your business, not just your money.  There is a big difference, after all.

Chris, I see you respond to a lot of negative reviews and I think that is a good one on you.  If you care to respond, then please include an explanation as to why you'd refuse service to one of your own installs.  To be clear, I'm not requesting warranty work, necessarily, but paid service work. If James there is towing the company line in what he's expressed to me, then he deserves a pat on the back and lunch on Friday, he's got a tough gig.  If not, he deserves a talking to.  Either way, all other water furnace providers had a hard time believing that you'd refuse service to your own job...  well, except the fellow from southwest, he kind of chuckled and said something to the effect that they'd picked up a few clients from outa town that had installs done by companies that got wet feet about servicing geo and that they were happy to pick up my business as well.

We first used Plumb Doctors (then called Plumb Masters) two years ago when the toilet started backing up at our previous house. Joe came out, did a thorough assessment, and found we had root intrusion from a nearby live oak. Joe turned what was looking like a $50K+ problem (tunneling under the slab foundation) into $2K through a creative (and code-compliant) solution. Joe's honesty, professionalism, and skill made him our go-to plumber.

When we were looking to buy a new house last year, we had Joe come out to do a thorough inspection. He found that the main sewer line had settled and no longer ran at the right slope, causing sections to be completely flooded. He provided a reasonable quote as well as a video of the issue that we provided to the sellers who agreed to split the cost.

We had the work completed last month, and it was completely seamless. Joe and his team came early and stayed late to ensure we weren't without water for any more time than was needed. They were always in close contact so we knew the status of each stage of work as well as the inspection. Andrew also got involved along the way who is also fantastic.

Finally, we had Joe and Andrew (of course) replace our water heater a few weeks ago which was also a great experience. They provided a quote in range of other similar shops and had the installation down to a science. In and out.

We hope we're at the end of our plumbing needs for a while, but if anything comes up, we know we're in good hands!

Plumb & Order literally saved our house! We actually called them to get a second opinion and thank goodness we did because the first vendor said we needed to tunnel under our home foundation to fix the broken main pipe (we had a toilet that was backing out and mud/dirt was present which led to the conclusion that the pipe was broken). The first vendor said it was going to cost us 5 figures and couldn't even locate where the pipe was broken because he did not bring a camera to look inside the pipe!! Then Kirk with Plumb & Order came to the rescue! He brought all the right tools including a camera and within an hour located the broken area in the pipe! Then he gave us a couple of options for moving forward which were exploratory but would at least give us more information so we know what steps to take next. So he did a little digging around the cleanout to see if the broken pipe situation is something he can fix. It took less than 2 hours for him to give us a firm answer and ultimately he was able to fix the pipe the same day. My husband and I are so happy we found Plumb & Order. Also, Kirk was fun to talk to!! Trying to find a plumber you can trust is so hard but looks like we found the one!!

10 years ago someone removed all the gas appliances from our house.  The gas lines had corroded and weren't where we needed them.  The gas company had removed their meter from the house and we needed all new everything to hook up our new Gas Furnace.  We needed new gas lines run in the house.  Most of the plumbers I called wouldn't even return my call or they just weren't willing to do the job.  The few that came out gave me outrageous quotes to run a couple of gas lines under a house with a pier and beam foundation.  Tad with Thunderbird came out and was extremely professional.  We talked about our requirements and he gave me some options that would cut down on the complexity and price of the job.  They got me a proposal that was very reasonable.  They got the job done in a day and we passed the city inspection without an issue.  Today, the gas company installed their meter and we finally have gas service.  I couldn't be happier with the service I got from the folks at Thunderbird Plumbing.

Great service from Mark.  I've hired him a few times for various plumbing jobs.  He does good quality work and has been quite generous with his time.  He has a good manner and is good at explaining the issues, and he has really gone the extra mile for us.  I highly recommend Pure Plumbing.

Olvin responded quickly to my request, reviewed my project, clearly articulated the plan, gave a fair proposal and the next day the work was down.  He and his partner were very clean and thorough in their preparation wrap up.

Scott did an amazing job with my leaking pipe in my garage. I messaged him at 11pm on Friday night and he responded in real-time and was able to come out the next day. He also helped me with trying to get me maximum coverage with my insurance and even gave me a discount when they didn't cover the repairs. 5/5 would recommend Scott again!

Union Jack is my first call for any indoor sink/toilet/faucet type issue. He was on time, professional, and the price was competitive. I've recommended him to my neighbors and they also have glowing things to say.
For us he has fixed a crazy running toilet and replaced a kitchen faucet.
