Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
I was referred to Brad from another plumbing service who couldn't get to me within a day or two as I needed. Brad arrived as scheduled and got straight to work replacing 3 really old toilets in an office space we just leased out as is. I provided the new toilets and he came prepared with other supplies/parts he might need and got the job done and discovered a few other issues with plumbing in the space that needed addressing. We discussed full fixes of these items and he offered other simple fixes that were more cost effective and would address the issue if we were okay with or without X or Y (i.e. Offered options). I appreciated the cost effective ideas and booked him again for a few days later to return and address those issues. Easy to work with!

Quick response, good price, no charge for estimate (even if I had someone else do the job), friendly, professional. Replaced the push/pull valve on our bath/shower in about 10 minutes. Love these guys!

Well looks like my last review was right, after the last job Gilbert did. He gave me a bid for replacing my water heaters and pressure regulator value. I got that bid the same day, even thou he said to shop around for prices I did not. I knew that day I wanted to use Gilbert again.
Gilbert and Blake came out and did a fantastic job! I will say this has been my BEST yelp decision yet. I have used Blue Dragon going on three times now and will continue to use them.
His pricing it spot on, fast service, and just a cool guy.
I will say it again. If you are needing anything plumbing related you MUST call Gilbert at Blue Dragon. You will be glad you did!!

Although I had to call them for the same problem twice, I'm still rating them 5 stars. They are prompt and professional and seem caring for the most part. The first attempt did not resolve the problem but the plumber told me that ahead of time I appreciated that. Apparently I needed a more major fix and Curtis came when the problem reappeared and hopefully it's good forever now.

I had a broken water main. A prompt response and got technician scheduled. Technician was courteous, wore a mask and best thing
professionally fixed our broken water main.
I have used them for couple of other repairs: replacing shower valves and installing faucets. They are great plumbers and very reliable.

I have not had a great experience with plumbers in the past, but Bill was outstanding. I had an emergency and he showed up with in the hr. Solved the problem. He told me what the problems was, how he was going to be fixed it and how I can prevent it from happening again. Great service, and I will be using them in the future if I have any other issues.

Great work from these guys! I had several quotes on the PRVs for my water line (too high pressure resulting in knocking at the water valves to my washing machine), A&T is half what the other guys quoted. They can give me a quote over the phone and doesn't do the we need to come out with a sale guy.
They come out literally two days later, with two guys working on the valve. They didn't mind that I stood there and asked questions. As they almost finished, they did end up encountered some new issues along the way (with roots and fittings) resulting in some leaking. So they just spent more time, undo everything, cut the roots, fix the fitting and working on it until it's done right. With all the unexpected issues like the root and redo needed, they gave me zero fuss.
Water pressure is good now, and no more knocking. I'm impressed.

Called Dave this morning about capping off an outdoor hot water line (my hose bib rusted off and shot across the yard like a champagne cork). I received a quick courteous call back / fair quote. He already knew what questions to ask and obviously knows about 1950's plumbing.
He's coming out tomorrow and I'm looking forward to a job well done. Thanks neighborhood list serv and my fellow yelpers!

Abel to Plumb is an honest, reliable company which represents the best of what the profession has to offer. Very kind, on time, extremely fair prices that were far below what I expected to pay, and just an overall great experience.
Thanks so much Abel for coming out darn near immediately and fixing our clogged sink problem! You're a life saver and we'll definitely be seeing you again in the future.

Braulio at Standard Plumbing was great! He responded quickly, was willing to provide an estimate over Yelp with photos (which a lot of people aren't willing to do), scheduled an appointment quickly and showed up when he said he would. These are basic things, but he did them all and I really appreciate that! Not to mention, he did great work installing my new water heater, working in a tight cabinet that held my old unit from 30 years ago and including all the items to bring my system up to code. I would use him again.

Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

My husband and I just moved to Austin and Jim is the second plumber we've tried. Needless to say, we won't be using anyone else. He showed up on a Friday night in bad weather within 30 minutes, fixed our kitchen sink for a good price, and texted two days later to make sure everything was working okay. Excellent service...highly recommended!!

Stan's installed all 3 AC units of my new house we built from scratch. The house was finished in late fall. Everything worked fine, until summer came. The first time I turned AC on, the AC in the sunroom didn't work. Stan's came out and fixed it under warranty. The technician said something was installed incorrectly. Everything worked fine for a while. Then winter came. The first day I turned on heat, it didn't come on in the sunroom. Stan's came (can't recall if I had to pay). The technician (different person) said it was not repaired correctly the last time. He said something had to be disconnected to fix it last time, but the other guy forgot to reconnect it. I was very annoyed to hear it, but all worked fine again. Then summer came again. The first day I turned on AC, the sunroom AC didn't work again. I called Stan's, and they came out to fix it. Then stuck me up with a high bill. I was furious. Every time season changes, I had to call Stan's and pay them to fix the previous bad/incomplete fix. I complained but had to pay. I recently discovered leak stain around one of the vents. I hired another company, and they discovered evaporator coil (or something like that) was not installed properly (by Stan's), and it was partially sticking out of the drain pan. So when it had a problem, some water fell outside of the drain pan and onto the ceiling. It seems Stan's can't do anything right. Am I a rare exception? I hope so. But as far as I can tell, Stan's is all about TV commercials and no substance or competency. I would NEVER do business with Stan's again, and I am telling all my friends and neighbors.

Marc Lamb came out on 2 separate and different instances. Shower leaks and toilet issue. Each service call was handled beautifully and we are happy with the service. Highly recommend Marc at Plumb doctors!

They did a fantastic job of seeing the appointment through, from scheduling to notifying me someone was on the way, which was within the time frame they gave, and great follow-up. Kirk was efficient and thorough and honest! Highly recommend Plumb and Order!

To echo what everyone else has said, Mark is awesome! We spent over $500 with another plumbing company who fixed nothing, broke a filter, and then told us we needed to spend another $1000+ on a flushing system for our hot water heater.
When the hot water completely stopped a month later we called Pure Plumbing. He came 2 days later (not as fast as one without hot water would like, but he had other people to rescue) and said he thought it was the igniter, but couldn't tell until he fixed that. I appreciated his honesty and warning that we COULD need a new unit if this didn't work. Unfortunately it took another 6 days for the part to arrive, but luckily the new igniter worked!!! No more warming bath water on the stove!
He also told us it wouldn't really be worth the $ on the flushing system since the unit is already 10 yrs old. He totally could have sold us on that, but didn't. If only all home repair companies were so honest!! We'll definitely call Pure Plumbing first next time!!

Had Olvin come by to redo my backsplash after another company came and did a horrendous job on it a week earlier. He completely gutted the other companies work and installed new drywall. He made sure to put drop cloths everywhere, and cleaned up at the end of every day, putting everything back where it was each night so that I could use the kitchen in the evenings. He was always on time, and clearly took pride in his work. He made sure every tile was perfect, and replaced any that I found with defects. Even thoughtful enough to tile all the way up behind the microwave so that if I got a new one it wouldn't have to matter how tall it was.
Absolute A+ work. Can't recommend him enough, and excited to have him redo my bathrooms!

Because of yelp, I called Nick. And along with the other yelp reviewers, I'm now a fan. It took a little over a week to schedule time with him (because he's so awesome), but it's absolutely worth the wait. He came to fix a kitchen sink leak, and completed it professionally, efficiently, and even taught me a few things. His process, from start to finish is second to none. He left the site clean and the plumbing under the sink looks much more civilized. I appreciate his honesty and work. I'll definitely be calling Nick for my plumbing needs.
