Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
Brad hasn't even left yet and I'm already excited to leave this review. First of all, he answered my request for a quote in less than one business day and was super easy to schedule with. Then, he showed up exactly on time and was able to explain the problem with my leaky faucets in a way that I understood. He finished the repairs I asked him out for and asked if I needed anything else today; I said no and he went to put his tools in the truck. By the time he came back I had decided to ask him about my toilet that was always making a running sound, and he immediately set out to fix it. As a single woman, it can be a little dicey to have repair men in and out of the house and trust that I'm not getting a run around, so Brad B. was a serious breath of fresh air. He is quick, professional and easy to have around the house. I would recommend Brad B. to anyone and every

I needed a new natural gas line connection for a generator, and requested quotes from the best of Yelp. I ended up working with Peter and Jacob at Proven Plumbing, and I'm very glad I did - they were great. Fast quote, fair price, no pressure. Scheduled the work quick and got it done earlier than expected. After seeing the job they did my neighbor ended up hiring them as well. Proven Plumbing will be our first call for any future work we need. Highly recommended.

Gilbert showed up on time and was very professional. I sent him some pictures before he came over and he told me what to expect before arriving and did what he said he would. He worked quickly and I was very happy with the whole transaction

I noticed our water bills had been steadily creeping up over the last few months. I chalked it up to COVID keeping us home and using more water, but when two bills were almost double what we normally use in the winter (which goes into Austin's wastewater averaging), I knew I had to investigate more. This is the kind of thing that drives me crazy (and my poor spouse who has to listen to me ranting about a leak SOMEWHERE).
Looking at the water meter, I noticed the leak detector spinning slowly. Took readings over 24 hours, over the course of a few weeks, and noticed about 6-7 gallons an hour going out even when no water was used inside (all valves off). City confirmed and I knew I'd have to call a leak detection specialist.
I called Rooter-Man based on these Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. Unlike a leak detection-only business, Rooter-Man diagnoses and fixes in one go. After examining the fittings in the house, and determingin no leak there, Eddie began investigating places outside where a leak might exist. He suspected it was a cracked fitting where the main line connects to the house line, and he was right. But he had to work for it! The leak was small, and the pipe was buried 2 feet down, not the normal 12 to 18 inches. Without the sonar equipment Eddie used, it would have been impossible to spot the leak since it was so deep there was no wet spot in the yard. Turns out tree roots had cracked the fitting - guess my landscaper is getting the next call to get rid of that tree!
Once discovered, Eddie got to work fixing the leak, which took a while because he had to be extra careful of the gas line buried in the same trench as the water line. Then the fitting was almost impossible to get off, requiring some clever use of a propane blowtorch. Finally it was fixed with a Chicago loop style fitting to allow for some flex. He tested everything before filling the hole and we flushed the lines. After turning off the water valves, we checked again - no leaks. The leak indicator is not spinning at all.
Leak detection is not inexpensive, especially when specialized equipment is needed to discern and diagnose the leak location. It might seem a big outlay of cash to fix this small leak, but the thing about leaks is that they never go away, they only get worse. I'd rather have this fixed now when it was only leaking 6 gallons an hour than to have it fixed in the summer when it might be leaking 6 gallons a minute!
Eddie was a consummate professional and really a pleasure to have working on this. He has an irrepressible attitude and is a real character. I enjoyed listening to him as he gave me the blow-by-blow of what he was doing and why he was doing it, and I appreciated his professionalism. Well done Eddie, and thanks to Rooter-Man for helping me sleep at night.

Great rates, fast and friendly and got the job done! I appreciated how quick they were in getting out to our house. Everything was done professionally and within the quoted estimate on yelp. Not only that, but the quote was much less than others I received. Thank you!!

I called them to get the quote for a gas leak detection job. They showed up but the quote was so high for just finding the leak, not even fix it so I didn't go with them.

They were great in the resolution of my plumbing issue. You have to follow their process. This was a 3 way arrangement with my tenant, but I was able to resolve.

Recently, I heard dripping sound whenever my upstair toilet flushes. I called David on Friday and left a message. He returned my call couple of hours later, and scheduled to come out on Monday. He called before he came over on Monday and showed up on time. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in about an hour, his workmanship is great and his charge is very reasonable. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

Braulio came out when he said he would and got my kitchen sink repaired and bathroom toilet. All is working well again! I would definitely recommend. He's a nice and professional plumber! And he's not far away from my house as I understand it. We had a nice conversation about how loud the trains are in downtown Buda.

Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

Jim is amazing. I've used him on numerous occasions and he has always been fair, courteous and quickly gets the job done. We originally used another plumber to install our tub, but he did a terrible job, so we contacted Jim who was able to fix the previous plumber's work. Then we got a flood in our kitchen and Jim was able to come quickly to turn off the water and then returned later to fix the complicated leak issue. We only trust him for all our plumbing needs. I highly recommend him!!

I had special guests staying in my lakehouse on Lake Travis and when they arrived late yesterday afternoon the air conditioner was not working. Well that's not good. Fortunately, having Stan's Heating and Air as my go to a/c service is better than having a brother-in-law in the business. Even though it was past normal business hours they sent top notch tech Andrew out and in no time we were back in business and the long holiday week was saved. Thank you Stan's and thank you Andrew. We used Plumb Doctors recently and had a great experience with Andrew Alexander. He did a great job replacing our faucet in spite of suffering through a recently broken hand!. He was on time and finished the job very quickly for being injured.
Andrew has an old school work ethic that you don't see much anymore.
I highly recommend Plumb Doctors (Andrew Alexander) for you next plumbing job.

Tony and Conner did an awesome job. Very professional and knowledgeable. They even fixed some stuff a different company messed up on last time. Really glad we called Plumb & Order. Will definitely call again if anything comes up.

Thunderbird is an authorized Bradford White service provider and they fixed my Bradford White water heater which was still under warranty. Jeff offered me with the option of picking up the parts in Round Rock to save me money and time. I was able to email and text back and forth with Jeff rather than wait by the phone. The price for the repair was hundreds less than a highly rated competitor that I had used previously and was done in 48 hours.

Mark came by a couple times to fix various issues with an old house I was getting ready for sale. He was always flexible and prompt to head over. He's as capable as he is friendly, and now my goto plumbing guy from now own based on my exp. I'll recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.
He's also very reasonable with his estimates and cost. A++

Scott did an amazing job with my leaking pipe in my garage. I messaged him at 11pm on Friday night and he responded in real-time and was able to come out the next day. He also helped me with trying to get me maximum coverage with my insurance and even gave me a discount when they didn't cover the repairs. 5/5 would recommend Scott again!

Nick is absolutely awesome! My wife and I recently bought a house with possibly the worst toilets ever, low water pressure to the house, and a shower in the master bathroom that had the flow rate of my dogs dribbling water. Nick first made recommendations on replacement toilets, and he replaced all of them as promised and on budget. AWESOME WORK!!!
Nick then replaced the pressure reducing valve to the house, and now we great water pressure in the house. He then spent the time to remove the scale in the piping to the master shower, and now we enjoy a vigorous shower.
I would have no problem recommending Nick to anyone who has plumbing problems!!!
