Proven Plumbing Plumbing Service
Proven plumbing communicated everything they intended to do to repair the leak in my foundation.  They were very careful with my house and they minimized the walls they needed to cut into.  They gave me a few options along the way and completed the work within the time frame they stated.  These guys are my new plumbers!

Blue Dragon Plumbing Plumbing Service
Gilbert was fantastic!! He showed up on time and got right down to the problem. He found the two leaks that I had and then walked me through how he was going to fix it. He then found some corrosive material and told me it was better if I just bought a whole new faucet. That was very honest because he could have just did a half-ass job to plug the leak.

He installed a brand new kitchen faucet in a matter of minutes. Even though he gets paid by the hour he didn't milk it to get more $$ out of me. Even though Gilbert is usually booked days out he is worth the wait if you can. Highly recommended and if I ever need another plumbing project I know the man for the job.

Rooter-Man Austin Plumbing Service
We called Rooter-Man Austin for a second opinion after our home warranty provided contractor quoted us $2400.00 to repair a broken toilet flange.  The first plumber quickly assessed that he would need to jackhammer our floor to fix the flange and we would be left to take care of repairing the floor ourselves.  What?  NO thank you!

Jason with Rooter-Man Austin came out the following day and told us what he needed to do to fix the issue.  We approved the work and around 45 minutes later, he was done with the job.  Jason was courteous, friendly, and knowledgable.

We're happy we found Rooter-Man Austin.  Not only did they save us $1900.00, we now feel like we have an honest plumber to work with in the future, and one we can refer to our friends and neighbors.

Capital City Plumbing and Drain Plumbing Service
These guys are top notch and very affordable. Gabe has been out to our house for multiple projects including installation of new sink and shower fixtures, new toilets, and troubleshooting a dish washer leak. He has been a lifesaver!

I've also called them out to my office to install a new garbage disposal and Shawn was extremely helpful, professional and quick.

After our CEO had another plumber fail to show up for scheduled appointments twice, I recommended Capital City and they have been her go to ever since for hot water heater maintenance and and unclogging sinks. She rarely gives high praise but was very happy and impressed with the service she received from Nick and Gabe on every occasion.

They are responsive, respectful of your time and home, quick, and clean up after themselves. Super informative and go above and beyond. These guys are the best!

EZ Flow Plumbing Plumbing Service
EZ flow, easy go, your money that is.!!! These people are a huge rip-off. Emillio quoted me $800.00 for 2 hours of EASY work. As PT Barnum said: There's a sucker born every minute, don't be one of them. Look elsewhere.

A&T Service Plumbing Plumbing Service
Before buying our house we had a hydrostatic test done, which determined the outgoing cast iron pipes were very, very leaky. The foundation is slab, so fixing this would require tunelling under the entire width of our house (over 60 feet).

We got about 5 estimates for the job and A&T was the lowest. Rick spoke with me extensively about ways that we could mitigate cost. His crew came out and got to work immediately--the entire job, start to finish, was done in 2 weeks. They were respectful, clean, considerate, and honest. I nearly cried handing over the first part of the check (it's a lot of $), but knew we went with the right people and did the right thing by the end of it.

We've since hired Rick and his crew for other (unrelated) odds and ends and their prices are always reasonable, information accurate, and their work impeccable. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

Abel To Plumb Plumbing Service
I'm not sure where to start but I'll keep it brief and to the point. There is no better contractor that I've worked with in 14 years in Austin. We had a water heater go out right before Thanksgiving and our family was in desperate need of a replacement. 10 minutes after finding Abel on Yelp and reaching out through the app, he agreed to purchase a new tankless wanted heater and be at my house by 9am the next morning. It sounded too good to be true, but sure enough Abel arrived the next morning and installed the heater perfectly. The process, efficiency, and handiwork are second to none. Thank you Abel!

I had such a wonderful experience with Braulio! We had a water heater emergency and he was able to come out and replace it the same day. More than anything he was extremely responsive, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend Braulio's services!

Jim is amazing. I've used him on numerous occasions and he has always been fair, courteous and quickly gets the job done. We originally used another plumber to install our tub, but he did a terrible job, so we contacted Jim who was able to fix the previous plumber's work. Then we got a flood in our kitchen and Jim was able to come quickly to turn off the water and then returned later to fix the complicated leak issue. We only trust him for all our plumbing needs. I highly recommend him!!

Stan's Heating, Air & Plumbing Plumbing Service
We have a service contract with Stan's Heating and Air conditioning.   Twice this past summer, when it was over 100 degrees, two of our systems stopped working. Both times the AC stopped after normal business hours!  Both times a serviceman was at our house within two hours and had us up and running.   Having a service  contract is key to getting prompt service from any company.   Stan's did not disappoint us!  WE recently had a new system minstalled and the technicians were prompt and left the house the way they found it!

I'm very confused about my experience today.

The issue is my water heater won't turn on. The water heater is fine, with no leaks and no gas smell; it's the electric control box that won't work. We did make sure our breaker in the house works, and the electricity everywhere else works. Water heaters aren't like phones or computers, and you can't just plug them in somewhere else to test them.

I went to yelp! I had seen the yelp reviews were good; I went to the website and put in a web request. I didn't want the emergency plumbing appointment, and I did not call. But it was early in the morning when I put the web request in.

First positive, I got a great response back in an email. It was cheerful, had great information, gave me a number to call, and said, 'we only do onsite quotes' and 'let's schedule you for a quote. Perfect! This is great!

So I called. I was on hold for a long time. Then a woman answered, and I told her what was going on, I explained I put in a web request, and I got an email response to schedule for it, and I needed the quote and what was wrong with the water heater.

Now, it's very possible, and I'll contend this, that I said that quickly and she didn't understand me. That's why I'm giving this rating 3 stars and not 1 for the situation. This could be my fault for not speaking more carefully initially. Yet, whatever it was, I didn't get any probing questions, or What's your name, ma'am or anything to see if I put in a request.

Her response was, Ummmm, hmmm, let me see if we even do that, I was on hold a long time again. When she returned, she sounded more confused than I felt as I wrote this.

Well, we only go out to the property, and we would have to look at it, and then we would determine if we could even fix it or if it has to be replaced.

I know that. At the beginning of the call, I told her I had gotten the email. I was calling to schedule as the email said. Why is she confused? Why doesn't she know how it works if she works there?

I said, Yeah, I figured that's what you would do.

She says, again sounding completely confused, Well, um, let's schedule you, but um, I have to tell you something to make sure you understand.

Okay.

We can only come out during the emergency hours, so it's going to be more money.

I did explain that I didn't want the emergency hours; that's why I put in the request. She told me they might be able to maybe see me sometime next week.  She did it with the tone of someone about to tell you, no, we can't, the next second. Are they that busy, or is it me?

I don't get it. The reviews are great, the email was great, and the owner looks great, but if the person taking the orders isn't sure how to do an order or how the order works, how do I know it will be booked correctly?

I told her I'd call back, but I'm unsure if I will. I was left confused and unsure after that call. I thought I'd leave this review, at least. Maybe it's a weird day. Anyway, that's my experience.

My experience with Plumb and Order was one of the best and easiest plumbing experiences I have had. I am SUCH a fan, and thank you Yelp, for once again delivering the goods.

Ted phoned within 24 hours of my message and was so polite and soft spoken, I wondered if he was really in a trade.  He arrived promptly, was super courteous and I never felt uncomfortable (not for nothing, I focus on this as a woman at home alone.  This is huge)

We had recently moved into an older home and had several annoying issues. Toilets that weren't shutting off after flushing, a shower that didn't have good pressure.  It turned out that the toilet handle was loose and getting stuck on the flapper, keeping the shut off from working.  Additionally, instead of suggesting that I pull out all sorts of fixtures, one shower head replacement fixed a pressure issue.

When it came time to present the bill, it was for a $95 base trip fee (much lower than the norm) because it was just all so easy.  In short, he could have made all sorts of coin by telling me my problems were bigger, but he didn't.  Class act, and definitely my plumbers, going forward,

My sprinklers and hose spouts had low water pressure. Mark came out and adjusted the pressure regulator valve. He mentioned that it was on its last leg and might need to be replaced. He said if it needed to be replaced, he would credit the amount he charged for adjusting it. He checked the pressure and said it was back up. However, the water pressure was still weak. So I called him the next day and he came the next morning and replaced it. Now I have full pressure and as a bonus, my indoor water pressure also increased. I never realized how much I missed a good shower. Mark was prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. He also wore a mask and respected the COVID-19 situation. I recommend Mark for your plumbing services.

Fuentes Tile Plumbing Service
Fantastic company. They do great work at a more than fair price. They respond to messages quickly. They clean up their mess. They work quickly and instead of using epoxy to repair the tiles, the replace the whole tiles. Amazing! Olvin will take care of you. Do not let the tile stores try to talk you into letting them handle the install. Buy your stuff and call Fuentes! You will NOT regret it.

Union Jack Plumbing Plumbing Service
Needed to cut roots out of sewer line and called on Nick after reading Yelp reviews. He was prompt and efficiently rid our sewer line with 4 passes of his handy cutter. He charged a reasonable $158.

Nick was the third and last plumber we called on for this problem. Two Sundays prior, water from the washer came bubbling up a toilet.  Heaven help us if it had occurred a few minutes after leaving! See my review of ARS Rescue Rooter of that fiasco! Here is what I have learned about clogged sewer lines:
1. Call the city FIRST. They will come 24/7, scope it to locate cause of clog (usually roots) and said scope will probably partially unclog the sewer. There is a meter on the probe to locate the distance from the cleanout.  If needed, obtain for free a dvd of the scope in about 10 days.
2. Call Nick to clean out all remaining roots.
3. Put Rootx in sewer line 4-6 weeks after Nick was there. This prevents root regrowth.
4. Apply Rootx every 1-2 years.
5. If sewer clogs again, begin at #1.
Nick is professional, knowledgable, reasonable and his accent is too fun!
