Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
Brad really helped me out again. I called out to my house for an water pressure issue. He was quick to asnwer and diagnose problem even over the phone. He was there early next morning to replace my pressure restrictor valve which went fine. I came home to a leak in the ground about 10 days later. I called Brad to look at my issue. He found the problem to be in my sprinkler system pipe coming off the main line. He had it fixed in 2 hours and showed me the problem, which had nothing to do with his valve repair. Brad didnt even charge me for the service call or work he did. Brad is a master plumber and an honest hard worker I highly recommend him.

Vent holes needed to be cut in door. I did the work evening prior to install. Placed vent covers. They arrived 1 hour late, told me he was calling his boss to see if my vent covers were ok. He did not let me know boss said he should use his vent covers. He enlarged my holes and placed vent covers and then showed me. The cover would not screw down because the hole was too big. And then charged me $250. Ridiculous. I could have covered me holes with chicken wire and it would be ok. Price gouging. After I speak to inspector, and ask a few questions, I'll be calling owner. This is horrible customer service and somewhat underhanded.

Efficient, on time, reasonably priced, knowledgeable. The only issue with such a family business if fitting in to their schedule. Gilbert is very busy & has a 10 day waiting time. Never-the-less, he deserves 5 stars & I will use again!.

Curtis was awesome! He came out right away on a Saturday morning when our toilets all clogged and sewage was coming out of our bathtub drains. He fixed everything efficiently and was such a nice guy.

We hired Capital City to replace our 20 year old conventional water heater with a tankless. We hired them since they were able to provide a photo-based estimate, and also had a competitive price. On the installation day, they were on time, and got the job done as advertised. The techs were also great to deal with. Sadly, just a few days later, the winter storm froze and broke the brand new water heater (lesson learned - also drip hot water!). Even though thousands of people needed plumbers, we were able to get Gabriel out to assess our problem within a few days, and he also called to update us on the status of getting a new unit (which was challenging, since so many tankless heaters broke). We got our new unit installed this morning by two great techs, and now we've got hot water. No more cold showers!!

The service was quick and the plumbers who visited my house were extremely nice and knowledgeable. Emilio (the plumber) also followed up with me the following day after his initial visit to answer a question and provide a quote for another repair.

Geronimo was great! We wanted our tankless water heaters flushed and he told us how much time it would take. He got the job done efficiently and installed a garbage disposal in our kitchen while flushing the water heaters. He also found a leak in a recycle tank and is sending a quote on that work.

Called Dave this morning about capping off an outdoor hot water line (my hose bib rusted off and shot across the yard like a champagne cork). I received a quick courteous call back / fair quote. He already knew what questions to ask and obviously knows about 1950's plumbing.
He's coming out tomorrow and I'm looking forward to a job well done. Thanks neighborhood list serv and my fellow yelpers!

Woke up Saturday morning and my pipe had burst. Called Braulio and he fit me in his schedule that afternoon. He was quick, polite and did a great job! He also showed me how to turn my water off in case I ever need to again. I would highly recommend and I will continue to use him in the future!

Jaime Santana did an excellent job with broken water pipes repair at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Manor, where I am the pastor. After the winter storm of February 2021, the water pipes of all of our buildings were damaged. Mr. Santana assessed the situation, explained what was required, and finished the repairs in a timely manner. He also ensured that all faucets/toilets/water outlets were properly working, and did the appropriate repairs when needed. I highly recommend Santana Plumbing Company LLC.

Another plumber told me that I needed to replace my water heater. One of the thermostats and elements had gone bad. Jim was able to replace the parts without costing me the expense of getting a new water heater. I was so happy not to have to pay thousands of dollars. Jim is truly a nice person and knows a lot about plumbing. He's very easy to talk with and takes the time to diagnose the problem and make sure everything is in good shape. At every step he explained what he was doing and why it was necessary. You won't go wrong if you call Jim.

Called Strand Bros last night at 8pm because my bathrooms were flooding through the toilet bases and tubs back into my house! Brandon came over right away and fixed the problem. Turns out I had a clogged line running from my house and waste water was just trickling through my pipes and backing up when too much water (like using the washing machine!) dumped into the pipes. He even showed me how to check on water flow myself and where to check to help look out for these kind of problems in the future. Very good experience at such a late time of day! These are the guys to call!

I told them before they came that I had a water leak. Technician came without any water leak investigation equipment.
He blindly dug in my front yard and was unable to find the leak. Charged me $400 for that, knocked off $100 when he couldn't find it. Then Said his boss had sonar equipment but would charge another $895 to bring it. I obviously declined bc thats absurd to charge almost $1200-$1300 just to find a water leak on my property.
I ended paying just $150 for another company (who had more experience) to find where my water pipe leak was and didnt want to charge a crazy $1300 just to find the leak in the first place (without actually even fixing anything yet).

The best plumbing Service that I have ever dealt with. They won't try to scam you or talk you into something you don't need like other plumbers around Austin. Wyatt Is a pro at his job and can solve some really tricky and challenging problems with the lowest cost to you. He is professional and treat your house like it's the space shuttle, never leaving till the job is perfect. These guys are a 100% better than those radiant people.

tl;dr: great work, good prices, versatile - highly recommended
We had a leak in our garage and water in our water heater pan. Unfortunately they were not related, it turns out we had a leak in our laundry pipes and our 18-year old water heater was giving up the ghost.
We called our regular plumber but he was unavailable, so we called the references he gave us as well as some companies off Yelp like Thunderbird plumbing. Ted from Thunderbird seemed the most knowledgeable and trustworthy (according to Hope, who used to work with a lot of subs as an architect and a construction project manager), and surprisingly enough also had the cheapest estimate. (Some plumbers wouldn't even do all the work we wanted, like installing a pressure relief valve).
A few days later Ted came to do all the work, and it seems to be done really well. He even replaced our main water shutoff valve without charging us more than his original estimate.
All in all, a great experience, well worth a 5-star rating.

When our garbage disposal gave up the ghost and water was pouring out onto our floor, I called several plumbers. Mark not only picked up the phone when I called, but was able to make an appointment the next day. He called before he came, was prompt, very calming, patient, polite, and reasonably priced. He also repaired a defective outside faucet that another plumber installed. Would use him again!

Had Olvin come by to redo my backsplash after another company came and did a horrendous job on it a week earlier. He completely gutted the other companies work and installed new drywall. He made sure to put drop cloths everywhere, and cleaned up at the end of every day, putting everything back where it was each night so that I could use the kitchen in the evenings. He was always on time, and clearly took pride in his work. He made sure every tile was perfect, and replaced any that I found with defects. Even thoughtful enough to tile all the way up behind the microwave so that if I got a new one it wouldn't have to matter how tall it was.
Absolute A+ work. Can't recommend him enough, and excited to have him redo my bathrooms!

I was able to get an estimate for a static test for the drain lines in advance. Scott came the next day with a very short notice (because we had problems reaching the tenants). Scott did the test professionally and sent the results via email immediately. I really appreciate his help and would recommend his service to anyone.

I've called Nick 3 times to fix different problems and I've always been happy with the service. Yesterday he was able to some the same day I called, although he's often so busy it may take longer. Quick, efficient, leaves his work area clean, and answers all of your questions.
I know there are plenty of glowing reviews already for Union jack Plumbing, but I just had to add mine.
