Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
I contacted Brad and he came out first thing the next morning. I had a toilet with a shut off valve that would not shut off, and a fill valve that needed replacing. Brad replaced everything in the tank (fill valve and flush valve), replaced my old shut off valve with a nice, new 1/4 turn valve, and replaced the handle as well. He cleaned up after himself, and finished the entire job in about 45 minutes. Awesome job, very pleased with the results. And he did not over charge me, I was happy with that as well. I've had Radiant out here several times but I've gotten tired of paying their sky high fees. I'll be using Brad from now on.

I must say that this company is exactly what all the reviews say... Excellent customer service so far, especially from Peter the dispatcher who has been so patient with me rescheduling my appointments and taking the time to explain several options of what I am looking for and answering all my weird questions. For a dispatcher he knows his stuff about water.
Keep you all updated on my service and possible installation. Everything is a go so far. This company understands the need for clean drinking/bathing water and is not pushy... update soon!

Spoke to Gilbert on the phone at 10a, by 1030 Matt was at my house and ready to get shit done. Knew exactly how to fix the clog in my AC line, and then also replaced some wrong parts installed on my ptrap under the sink. Previous AC guy out the day before had cut the drain line and Matt located that, and fixed it without me having to show him or tell him. Matt was pretty knowledgeable of AC units being that he's a plumber. Gilbert, keep him brotha!
$210 is what Gilbert guesstimated over the phone and that's what it ended up being so all in all, I'm pretty good with that if that's what it took to solve the pesky issue.

We just moved into a house with a 10 month old baby and the water heater was acting up. We called RooterMan and they can out the same day at no extra charge. They also called to confirm the appointment and call before they headed over (LOVE the notice!) and were very pleasant to deal with the whole time.
My husband was at work and during the service call, our old water heater spewed some water in the garage and Aaron, the tech, immediately shut it off, vacuumed up the water and found some fans in our garage (amongst the boxes) and set up a drying system to make sure there would be no water damage.
He gave us tips on how to maintain the old unit to get the most out of it and let me know about upcoming regulation changes that will effect the cost of replacement in the future. He was very knowledgeable and showed us how to save money.
THAT'S AWESOME. :)

I tried my hand at installing a water filter I had bought off of amazon and failed miserably. My water valve was extremely loose and water was spraying everywhere. I called Capital City Plumbing and the dispatcher was very quick and helpful, sent a technician same day to my house. Nick Lancaster, the technician, was very skilled and knowledgeable. I thought I had stripped the seal on my water valve and thought it was going to be very costly to sauter a new one. He assured me that it wasnt necessary and fixed my leak in 15 minutes. Very satisfied with Capital City, will definitely call them again to install my RO system!

Had a PRV valve replaced, Theo came out with an assistant (can't remember his name) both were awesome. Very professional, explained the work that was going to be done and walked through the risk and concerns.
I will use EZ flow again and glad they were on Yelp.

The City of Austin came to my door about 8:30 this morning to let me know that they had turned my water off because it was leaking 4 gallons per minute into the street, yikes! Clearly this is an emergency & I immediately got on Yelp and found good reviews for A&T Plumbing, and bonus, they say they have a 10 minute response time!
After THREE hours, I got a call to say that they had no availability until Monday, seven days away; not really helpful in an emergency....

Responsive and good with scheduling, quick diagnosis and repair, friendly, efficient, reasonable rate. We even chatted about bikes! If I ever have another emergency I'm calling Dave again.

I did not expect, when I called at 10:00 AM to complain about my busted water heater, that they would have a water heater installed and running by 2:00 PM. They were fast, professional, clean. They took away the old water heater, fixed up the space for the new one, got the gas connections up to code, and fixed up the venting system so that everything is safety compliant. And given how fast they were, I decided to complain about a dripping faucet, and they got right to it and made sure to get it fixed. They were cheap, also, and mellow and friendly. And they wear footies over their shoes to minimize dirt in the house. I definitely would work with them again!

I'd highly recommend using Standard Plumbing. I reached out to Braulio on a Monday after I noticed my toilet start to leak, and he fit me into his schedule on Tuesday. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to fix it within an hour. My wax ring had worn out, so he replaced the ring and reset my toilet. His price was appropriate for the work. I will be using him again in the future for my plumbing needs.

Jaime Santana did an excellent job with broken water pipes repair at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Manor, where I am the pastor. After the winter storm of February 2021, the water pipes of all of our buildings were damaged. Mr. Santana assessed the situation, explained what was required, and finished the repairs in a timely manner. He also ensured that all faucets/toilets/water outlets were properly working, and did the appropriate repairs when needed. I highly recommend Santana Plumbing Company LLC.

I would call a different plumber if I were you! At first he seemed very reasonable and nice. He told me he would only charge me for his time and not mark up the equipment he had to purchase in order to fix my water heater. Near the end of the job he stated how much he spent on the equipment, which was substantially higher than what he quoted me so I asked for him to provide me the receipt. He then got very angry and told me he would try and get it for me. Shortly after our conversation he emailed me the receipt from Winsupply and something seemed off. I then called Winsupply and asked them to send me the receipt with the same purchase order. The receipts were the same except for the amount of the pump being substantially less than the receipt he provided me. It's not my place to say if he doctored the receipt from Winsupply but obviously something doesn't add up (please reach out to me if you would like to see the photos). After the job was done, I confronted him to try and understand the misunderstanding and he got furious and threaten to call the sheriff and post a lien on the property if I didn't pay. To make matters worse, after we agreed on an amount owed I signed the invoice and told him I would have a check sent to the address listed on his invoice before the end of the day. He refused and told me I had to pay with CC right now, which I refused. I will be sending him a check in the mail considering he finished the job and worked around my schedule (reason for two stars).

It is with frustration & utter disappointment that I type this. The original technician, Kenya, that responded to my emergency call due to a water heater issue was great. She gave great service and knowledge of needed next steps & future preventative steps/services needed. We set up for a new install to occur today(next day). I purchased a maintenance plan and even an upgraded system. She had me feeling like I made the right choice.
Today all unraveled, I experienced the epitome of horrible customer service. 4 calls later still no technician or any type of communication about when to expect one since my window of service was 2 hours ago. The call center Crystal told me she had no way of getting in touch w/management or technicians when asked for a status check. With each question I asked, her response was I just answer phones, I can make a note in the system she even suggested I email an after hours email to see if someone would respond. She was not concerned about my loss of time & now money. The other 2 call center reps offered apologies, gave different answers & assured a technician or manager would call me with an update. Still nothing. Beyond disappointed.

So happy to have found Plumb Doctors! We came home after Thanksgiving travels to find our kitchen sink backed up and totally out of service. Plum Doctors scheduled us for the very next day. They showed up a little early as I was coming from work and started looking into the problem from the outside. So by the time I drove up, they were pretty sure what the problem was. Fixed quickly and very affordable. Graham snaked the pipe and found the problem pretty far down the line. He also showed me how to easily check the p trap under the sink without having to open it. A good life-hack! Because we have additional issues, they sent a quote within a few minutes which gave us lots of options. Thank you, Graham, for taking care of our emergency and offering suggestions for other areas in our home. We will definitely use them, again.

We used Plumb & Order to replace two toilets and a sink. Two plumbers came - they were on time, friendly and completed the job with no issues. We received a few different bids and Plumb & Order was the best bid. We would definitely use them again.

I had issues with my gas fireplace not lighting. I Called Thunderbird and got a text back within a few minutes. I was happy to pay for them to come out to look at it (with the expectation of being charged a large call out fee). Rather than that, Jeff did a diagnosis over text. Finally suggested I adjust my thermocouple position. I did that and the issue was resolved at no cost. It really does not get any better than this.

Mark came over to give an estimate for tub installation. He obviously didn't like the idea of a difficult cast iron tub installation even though I was doing all removal and demolition of wall Sheetrock so he and other plumber/ helper could just install and add new drain hardware. His bid? $3644 for
drain hardware and a few hours work. NOPE.

We highly recommended Olvin and his right-hand man Ramon. We hired them to demo our old ceramic tiles and install new wood like tile (6x36) throughout our entire house. They were very accommodating, polite and pleasant during the entire process. They showed up on time every day and their quality of workmanship is excellent. If you are looking for fair pricing, excellent quality and a trustworthy service, Fuentes Tile won't disappoint!

Scott was great! So helpful, friendly, and fast. Our bathtub hadn't been draining properly for months he fixed it quickly! He cleaned the bathtub, explained future maintenance suggestions, and was extremely polite!

I love owning a home...but I hate dropping cash on maintenance. I can think of a thousand other things I'd rather spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on, but what are you gonna do?
So when something goes wrong in my home, I am already harboring unfounded animosity toward whomever I need to call to fix my problems. This time it was my hot water heater. The stupid little pilot light would not stay lit. Normally, I would just power through and relight the thing when I wanted some hot water, but with a house full of guests, that was not an option.
Cue the hunt for a plumber. After calling a few places with at least a week's lead time, I came across Nick at Union Jack Plumbing. He answered right away, and asked all sorts of questions about my heater and what was going on. And then said he just needed to pick up some parts and he'd be there in about an hour. Shut. Up. I have a feeling I just so happened to get really lucky on timing since my job was a quick fix...
Nick is a REALLY friendly guy who was awesome about keeping in touch. He texted before he got to the store, and right before he got to my house. He was explained what he was going to do, said it would take about an hour, and then he got straight to it.
Less than an hour later, he was done. He took the time to explain exactly what he had done and why my tank should last another 10 years. And then said he had a one year warranty on his work. And he cleaned all the bird poop out of the tank closet. And then my animosity at paying for maintenance waned a little. A little...
Nick was friendly, prompt, a great communicator and did a great job. Should I need a plumber, I will absolutely be calling him again.
