Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
Called to inquire about changing the water pressure at my house and the person I spoke with was incredibly rude. He told me over and over I didn't know what I was talking about and didn't bother to give an explanation. No idea the quality of work because I couldn't get past the bad attitude.

Phone call answered promptly & in friendly manner. Received estimate over the phone & scheduled installation of water softener within 2 business days of call. Notified via text of arrival time day of installation. Professional & friendly plumbers (Skylar & assistant) - spent time to show me controls & hardness levels. Two bags of salt were included in my installation - bonus! Will use Proven Plumbing again & highly recommend.

The house we bought had low water pressure in both showers, and the kitchen sink sprayer was not working. We reached out to Gilbert and he was lightning fast in responding and scheduling a time to come by to take a look. He's got a great sense of humor, friendly and gave practical advice on how to tackle the low water pressure. He also made a suggestion for us to get an S-shaped shower arm when he noticed how long the current shower head position was. He was very fair with his fees and efficient in fixing our issues with the water pressure and kitchen faucet. We've definitely found our regular plumber for any future plumbing issues.

Second time using Rooter-Man and once again we are completely satisfied and very impressed with their responsiveness and ability to troubleshoot and remedy issues.
As a veteran, I always consider veteran-owned businesses first when vetting for any service. Rooter-Man was competitively priced but offered far better service response times.
Quick shout-out to Byron who was here both times and exceeded expectations while being remarkably attentive and respectful.
Well done!

Decided to try to fix my leaky bathtub faucet myself, but wound up with my water off and in quite a predicament on a Saturday evening. Decided to give up and call a plumber. I called EZ Flow after hours and they said they could come out on Monday but asked me to describe the problem. I did so, and they gave me some very good advice and I was back in business in just a few minutes.
No chance I would have gotten this done without the expert guidance from EZ Flow - you guys will be my first call in the future! Awesome and honest!

I appreciate the response from the business owner, but this has been consistent prior to the current situation. You can't blame coronavirus for this, as the issue predated it.
If you are okay with a plumber that may or may not show up and repeatedly cancels last minute, they do a fine job and their prices are competitive. I've used them a number of times over the last 6 months, and the only consistency is that they will either call and cancel 1 hour before they're scheduled to show up, or they will just not show up at all.

I recently had Dave replace my hot water heater and install a PRV value on my house, after putting both projects off for a while because I couldn't find a good plumber. He installed everything promptly, showed up on time for both appointments, and scheduled them early so I could get on with my day afterward. I also like the hot water heater, it's a nice one (Bradford-White), and qualified for a rebate from Texas Gas Service. I would definitely call him again if I have a plumbing problem come up.
Minus one star for not getting an itemized receipt... that made applying for my rebate a little more difficult.

Quick response time. Fixed the issue with no problems. Asked if he could look at additional shower issue and he resolved that also. Abel will be the first call I make if any other plumbing issues come up. Extremely glad we went with him.

My hot water heater died and Braulio came out the same day I contacted him to look at it. He then came back the next day and replaced the whole unit. He was very professional, quick and took the time to explain the issues and options with me. I would definitely use him again.

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home. He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home. Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath. He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.
In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental. My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.
And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze. We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.
In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work. Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. You are the best!!!

I had Jim out to my home recently to help with a gas line problem. He was very responsive and when he did come out to my house he knew his stuff. He quickly diagnosed the issue and charged my very fairly. Great doing business with a local, I am sure it won't be our last!

It is 7:45 pm on the Sunday before Memorial Day. And I am happily sitting in my home, comfortable with the fact that when I go upstairs to sleep tonight, I will be sleeping comfortably and cool, thanks to Stan's!! At around 5 pm today, I noticed that the a/c upstairs was not working. I called Stan's just so I could get an early service call on Tuesday morning. Less than 30 minutes later, I got a call from their technician saying he could be by in 30 minutes. He quickly found a loose connection in the compressor and all is well! Thanks, Strand's, er, Stan's, for your promptness, for the quality of your team, and for being there when I needed you.

We had a leak in our home owner water shutoff valve, and Manny was extremely thorough, checking the water pressure to see if our pressure moderator was functioning correctly, checking whether our water heater had an overflow tank, he even discovered we needed a new back-flow valve on the outdoor spigot and replaced that (for a reasonable fee of course). His workmanship on the spigot and the water shutoff valve was superb! I'll definitely be calling up Plumb Doctors again in the future.

So not going to lie I called them because of the name . I am a huge law and order fan. That being said they were amazing! We had a few things that needed to be repaired and they fixed them quickly and efficiently and without breaking the bank.
I also requested they wear masks because I had a newborn in my home and in February it was cold and flu season, and they gladly did. They were super professional and the price was perfect! I will be using them for all our plumbing needs in the future.

Mark is an excellent plumber. He was professional in diagnosing my issue then methodical in approaching the installation of the new part.

Great workmanship. Super friendly. Fast install. Great cleanup. All around would highly recommend. I did the tile in all my bathrooms except the master. Went with Fuentes and glad I did.

We discovered a leak after coming back from vacation. I contacted Scott from Spot-On Plumbing after the water mitigation company found the source and he came the same day, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it promptly. He was knowledgable, upfront, and was able to identify other major and minor issues that were the cause of the leak. I'd highly recommend Scott to anyone who needs repairs done efficiently!

First, a tl;dr - Nick is honest, very reasonably priced, knows his stuff, and is so much fun to visit with. If you don't have time to read the rest of this, take my advice and hire him now. Also, avoid Whirlpool water heaters. They have a part that is known to routinely go out.
My water heater went out. It's not ancient, so I figured that it wouldn't be complicated to repair. Expensive, of course, but not hard to have someone in to do the repair. I was so wrong! I called 5 plumbing companies prior to calling Nick. I hadn't needed a plumber before (lucky me!), so I was just calling based on positive Yelp reviews.
Three companies couldn't see me until the end of the next week. I'm happy they are busy and thriving, but was getting worried because I really didn't want to be so long without hot water. The two other companies I called never responded to my voicemail messages. These were smaller businesses and I suppose that they were too busy to return my call.
Nick answered my call and knew so much about my water heater that he helped me get a head start on what to do. He explained that this water heater - a Whirlpool purchased at Home Depot 6 or 7 years ago - is known for having this particular part to go out. I don't remember the name of the part, but it keeps the pilot light on. He suggested that I call Whirlpool and have them ship the parts he would need to do the repair, and also told me that the parts may still be under warranty, something that hadn't occurred to me.
The parts ended up being covered by warranty, which saved me a few hundred dollars. I only had to pay for expedited shipping. I was unhappy that I had to pay shipping at all, knowing that Whirlpool had made the mistake by using inferior parts well after they knew that so many customers were suffering from their mistake.
I texted Nick once I had the parts, and he came over the next day. Our water heater is in the attic. The attic must have been a gazillion degrees. Up Nick went, and replaced the damaged pieces.
There is more to the saga of the Whirlpool. It ended up having the same parts fail in a week and a half. Nick isn't doing water heater installation at this time, so I called one of the big companies with advertising everywhere to give me a quote for replacement. I was curious what someone else would charge to replace the faulty parts I could order from Whirlpool.
I was shocked! He wanted more than twice as much as what Nick did to replace parts that I would be providing! His estimate to replace the water heater was twice as much as Nick's very rough estimate. It's almost as if some plumbers have so much work that they lob i out super high estimates.
We are on day three of having a new tankless water heater that was installed by a bigger company. I won't review them yet as there have been a couple of snags. I want to see how they see things through to the end.
If you're searching yelp for a plumber, you probably have an unpleasant situation going on. I wish you speedy and reasonably priced repair.
