Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX

Arrived on time, professional, and did a good job replacing 12 angle stops beneath the sinks sinks in our house.  He uses premium parts that should last longer but just be prepared to pay a premium for those parts. For instance, angle stops at Home Depot cost $7-10 each while Brad B's are $35 each. You can provide your own parts, but you will not receive a warranty for the work performed.  Yes, I requested a copy of what he paid for the parts, but considering the price difference between these parts at Home Depot vs his charges, I don't think my request was unreasonable.

I NEVER, repeat, NEVER leave reviews. I'm an old school person that just expects quality service and fair prices and if I don't feel I receive that, I don't use them again.

I want to give a shout out to Louis and his team at Proven Plumbing. They took my call in the afternoon and came out right away even though their schedule seemed very busy.

The owner drove out himself!

It was just a simple fix on our water softener that I didn't know how to fix. The best part was he took the time to explain everything to us and help us take better care of our equipment. I always value when contractors educate me.

Only cost was the service charge which was very reasonable considering it was a 20min+ drive one way.

They've got a repeat customer in me!

These guys are the real deal.... I picked them due to the overwhelming number of reviews and it was a great decision.  Gilbert was fantastic to work with and set up our appointment very easily.  Andrew came out and  is a very knowledgable plumber that's been in the business since he was 5 years old, when he learned the trade from his dad.  Reasonable pricing, honest work ethic and showed up exactly when they said they would.  I've already referred them other business before they even did the work because I was impressed with the communication and follow up from the initial call.  That about says it all....  Hope I don't need them soon, but they will be my first call when I do!!

Had a serious plumbing issue - called around and finally rolled the dice on these guys.  What a role it was ... Emilio Hidrogo came out to service us.  He was on time and very knowledgeable.  I recommend him and the company.  I am very impressed.

For far too long, we endured low water pressure and only cold water from our kitchen faucet.  I ordered a new touchless faucet and called Capital City to make it all work the way it should.  Less than 24 hrs after a 5 min phone call, Mike was at house.  He installed the new faucet in record time and bestowed our household with torrents of hot water on demand.  

Mike was professional, gracious, and helpful in every way.  The price was more than fair.

Local company in pflugerville. I called on a Saturday morning they responded right away and took care of the problem and didn't charge any extra for coming in the weekend like other companies do. The price is reasonable. Excellent customer service.  I definitely recommend them for your plumbing service.

I have a home warranty in effect but as is sometimes the case, the repairman they sent out gave me the run around; I called with some questions just to get some expert advice and Brady referred me to Don, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I got the info I needed without the sales pitch.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink and was frankly kind of embarrassed I couldn't figure it out on my own. Dave assured me it was no big deal and he could take care of it. He was very prompt, professional and fast. I will not hesitate to contact Henderson Plumbing again.

Needed quick (not emergency) work on water pressure. Abel agreed to come out and gave a schedule. Came as agreed and identified the problem quickly. Worked on it and restored everything to its original state. Awesome experience. Will definitely use again (not that I want another plumbing problem)

The pilot light in water heater went out last night and I couldn't get it restarted. I called Standard Plumbing this morning and Braulio was able to diagnose the problem. He had me send pictures of the unit to determine if could replace the part or would need a new water heater. Thankfully it was the former. Within minutes he replied back with a reasonable price and was able to begin work in about an hour. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and I enjoyed our interaction. I will definitely call Standard Plumbing again for any issues in the future!

Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

My husband and I just moved to Austin and Jim is the second plumber we've tried. Needless to say, we won't be using anyone else. He showed up on a Friday night in bad weather within 30 minutes, fixed our kitchen sink for a good price, and texted two days later to make sure everything was working okay. Excellent service...highly recommended!!

I have been a customer of Stan's for a few years now and am very satisfied with the service I have received. They installed my unit during a remodel and perform regular checkups. They were great from start to finish. Messaged them on a Sunday night. They responded that night saying that they'd contact me in the morning since it wasn't an emergency. They called and got someone to come out later that day to snaked the kitchen drain and replaced the fittings (previous owner used flex fittings which is awful) then they replaced the cartridge in the bathtub faucet so we can finally control the temperature. Very professional and courteous. Our #1 call for plumbing issues (God forbid lol)

Thunderbird Plumbing stands out as an exceptional service and customer oriented company. Thunderbird was one of three plumbing companies recommended by my fantastic realtor and I sought estimates from another five via Yelp.

I needed replacement of the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) for low water pressure, a hydrostatic leak test of the drain lines, and a basic leak test of the freshwater lines.

Jeff, the owner of Thunderbird, responded same day and was able to provide a detailed estimate the following day (a day sooner than anticipated). We were communicating via Email and his responses to my many questions were timely, detailed and very easy to understand. Thunderbird's estimate was on company work order/invoice letterhead: the only company to do so. And yes, the completed work came in right on the estimate! No surprises!

Of the five companies via Yelp, I received replies ranging from no reply, to asking me why I needed an estimate, to a required $89 service call just for an estimate, to a range of estimate prices. Of these, some were detailed estimates, others were not. Anyway folks, I did my homework!

After scheduling with Thunderbird for the following Monday, I had to move the work back a week. Jeff was able to accommodate the change- no problem! This was a huge relief, considering how busy the skilled trades are in Austin right now (the housing boom).

The PRV replacement involved digging in the front yard and Jeff was amazingly tidy: putting plastic down first, cutting the sod layer separately, and putting all sod and dirt on the plastic. When the PRV was fixed, you could hardly see where any digging was done at all!. The hydrostatic test involved removing one toilet and when the test was done, he put the toilet back with a new wax ring, new retainer bolts, and new caulk! This was great! Jeff provided pictures, for my records, of the water pressure test readings and various phases of all the work.

This was a new home purchase for me, though I've lived in Austin a little over 30 years. I can easily say Thunderbird Plumbing, and the owner Jeff Plunkett, was the best experience I've had with a plumbing contractor! I will use Thunderbird for any and all of my future plumbing needs, guaranteed!

Mark is an excellent plumber.  He was professional in diagnosing my issue then methodical in approaching the installation of the new part.

Great workmanship. Super friendly. Fast install. Great cleanup. All around would highly recommend. I did the tile in all my bathrooms except the master. Went with Fuentes and glad I did.

Broke my spigot on the side of my house. Spot-on was out here quickly and very communicative about prices and the prices to complete the project correctly.

Austin is my home.  I went to both HS and college in Austin, TX, and ever since college I have owned a condo.  I rent out the condo these days, as I live most of the year in Atlanta, GA (with one month in California).  The renters create plumbing problems for me about once or twice a year and Nick is the man.  I wish there was a Nick in Atlanta too.
