Malco recently replaced the electric service panel in my 70 year old home. I had been having intermittent power fluctuations which the city of Austin determined wasn't on the line. Randy was able to assess the problem and the work was scheduled.
There is quite a bit of coordinating to be done with the city - power cut off and then inspection of the work. The city unfortunately fumbled on this, but Randy and his crew were professional and polite. The city finally came through and the work was done.

I will be calling them to add a couple of outlets and switch out a fixture. So good to have found a local small business! I recommend without hesitation.

Had Asahel out to fix a light dimming/voltage drop issue I was observing in a house I recently moved into. He diagnosed it to a bad connection in the street-side pedestal and started the repair. As he is closing up the box a loose wire in the locked city-owned portion of the pedestal causes a large electrical short. Asahel patiently waited for the city to come out to unlock the box, worked with them to completely re-wire the pedestal, and only charged me for the hour it took him to fix my original issue despite working all afternoon. Now my light flickering and dimming has totally stopped and electric is solid as a rock. Thanks!!!

The last light bulb on my bathroom light fixture went out and I was in the dark.  I called Grayzer and got an answer right away.  The lady on the phone gave me an estimate and said it should take about an hour.  They were busy, so the earliest the electrician could come was next week Wednesday.

I then decided I wanted regular light bulbs instead of halogen so I called them up and they were ok with that change.  I then went and bought two new light fixtures since I wanted both bathroom light fixtures changed.

The electrician came in the selected time range in the morning.  I didn't have to hit the fuse box since the light could be changed with the switch off.  He removed both light fixtures and put the new ones on.  He explained to me that one light was loose and the other one just needed to be changed.  No major electrical problems thankfully.  It was $145 for an hour and I paid with credit card.  The electrician was friendly and professional.  I would definitely do business with Grayzer Electric again!

Went back to Dustin after his excellent work. This time I needed an outdoor light installed, as well as a couple of switches and a new outlet. All the work was perfect and he even came back by to check on things for me after the work was done a few days later. Highly recommended!

There are too many great things to share about Bear Electric!  Scott was absolutely awesome!  Some of the best customer service I have ever received.  Not only was he very responsive, we were able to book him within a week to get him in for a large project.  We updated our entire kitchen to recessed lighting, added a new dining room fixture, moved living room lighting around and updated our outdoor and office fans!  I was very impressed with how Scott walked us through everything he did and provided us with multiple options to complete our project.  Not only was communication spectacular, Scott was very knowledgeable and performed high quality work. The lighting turned out beautiful and was everything we were looking for!  I would definitely recommend Bear Electric and will be using him for any  future electrical services!

Todd and Keane just finished a pretty substantial job here at our home: replacing almost all of our original light switches and receptacles with updated Decora-style switches and receptacles. It was, without a doubt, the most pleasant experience I have had with a contractor in as long as I can remember. Todd replied to my original contact email within hours, with not just a quote but also a great deal of information and food for thought as to what we might want to do with this particular project. We set up a time for them to come over - at 5:45 pm on a Friday night, with no extra charge for evening work! They worked till almost 9 pm and came back the next day (yes, a Saturday) at 1:15 and stayed till almost 6 to finish the job. There was no weekend up-charge, nor any up-charge for materials.

Todd and Keane are a father-son team who work really well together. Todd is a certified Master Electrician and it shows: everything he did was first-rate and extremely professional. Keane is moving through the ranks of electrical apprenticeship and is destined to be a true pro as well - it's clear that he loves what he does and it shows in his work. Both Todd and Keane are the most pleasant people I've interacted with in a home remodel scenario in a very long time, and while I tried to stay out of the way as much as possible, sometimes I just tagged along to learn a bit more about how our house was wired (or mis-wired, in some cases). Todd was never put out by explaining what he was doing at any given time, and when an electrical mystery arose with a dead GFI outlet, he methodically worked through the issue until it was resolved, putting us all at ease that the house is (finally) wired correctly.

I really can't say enough good things about Tomei Electric. Their work is outstanding, and their rates are completely reasonable and fair. Their personalities make the work they're doing in your house more like that of friends than contractors, and that's a great feeling. If you have any doubt as to whether there are still honest, upstanding professionals in the electrical trade, Todd and Keane will put those doubts to rest.  I have deleted all my other electrician contacts and will only use Tomei Electric from here on out.

Asked if I had electricity. I told them I did, so it wasn't an emergency, but they came out the same day I called.
I had an entire circuit go out on my circa 70's house full of aluminum wiring. Luis showed up, went through the panel, then trouble shooting. I was prepared to upgrade panel or at least replace breaker in an old original panel. But Luis found it was a scorched receptacle that was the wrong type for aluminum wire, and incorrectly installed by my brother in-law. So that when it fried it took out the rest of the circuit. Found and fixed it all, in couple of hours, and charged me way less than I thought I was going to end up spending. I am getting an estimate from him to go ahead and upgrade panel, because I want to, not because he pressured me in any way. Easy to communicate with, and great work done in a very timely manner, for good price....  that's three outta three!! I have a trusted electrician in Austin now. Thanks Ya'll, L&R came through.

Moved into a new house 6 months ago and since then had some issue with the lights flickering and even more issues when adding led bulbs and dimmers.  

I called multiple very reputability companies to fix my issue over the last several months and if anything the issues got worse.  I guess I should not drop the other companies names but they were all qualified master electricians from well known companies.  The all charged me and did some sort of fix that never actually fixed the issues.  Money down the drain.

I have spend so much time and money new switches and light bulbs as that was mostly what I was told was the issue.

I called Raptor by chance and they responded very quickly,  I relayed my issues and told them of my frustration with other electricians. Alejandro said he can fix it, he was very confident, I was skeptical.

He and his brothers showed up and got to work.  First they listened to my crazy story and then He was the first electrician to go in the attic and found that someone had hooked up my pendant lights wrong crossing some wires in a very minor way.  However that issue was causing the issues.

They removed some lights fixtures and fixed the wiring in the house and also tested several dimmers that I had bought to see which ones would work best.

We needed two fans installed, they responded really quickly on yelp, and were able to get me in the same day.

The fans look fantastic (I will let myself out) and they have made such a huge difference in the comfort of those rooms.

Definitely coming to them again in the future for any electrical needs I have.

Jon and his brother were super helpful in figuring out why our new fan wouldn't work. They also helped us fix a couple of our DIY light switch projects that had gone awry! Overall, they were an awesome duo and I would highly recommend! Great customer service, on time, and very knowledgeable. Will absolutely call them again for anymore electrical issues!!

My Eaton breaker had been tripping every once in a while (failing self test), and finally gave out last night. Other places had me scheduled a month out, but Maury took my call, came out in a couple of hours, and was in and out in 15 min. Problem solved, no muss, no fuss. Love that kind of service. Will be my go-to guy for all things electric going forward.
Plus, his website prominently features photos of his dog! :)

Dan is very professional and did a excellent job installing my TV today. I called this morning and he came this afternoon to install the TV  in my kids playroom. Will be calling again for future jobs. Thank you.
