Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
Professional and quick! I have had several repairs at my house, a rental, and my mother's. Even when Brad sees something he doesn't think he can handle, he lets you know and has recommended someone who can. Great work, happy to do business with him.

Our very old water heater began leaking so I checked my neighborhood FB page for recommendations. Proven Plumbing came highly recommended, so I did a quick Yelp! search & requested a quote. Response was quick & Skylar was out to give a quote within hours. Pricing was very competitive & they were able to come out the next day to do the replacement. Skylar was prompt & he & his partner worked quickly & did a great job. I'm so happy to have hot water again!

After the city dug up our street to replace a water main we had much lower water pressure. The city's attitude was 'too bad so sad'.
I called Blue Dragon, and feared a very expensive repair would be required.
Andrew from Blue Dragon came out to work the problem. He was pleasant, articulate, and clearly competent.
He did some kind of flushing of some of the water lines, replaced a clogged toilet mechanism, and cleaned the filters on several sink faucets.
In less than an hour and at a very reasonable charge we had water pressure again!!
I was very pleased and will use Blue Dragon again the next time I need a plumber.

I am a repeat customer to Rooter Man. Recently I had some plumbing issues that were more complicated than I bargained for. Byron came out quickly to help me out. His work was fast and expertly done. He was able to troubleshoot the issues and fix them with no problems. I can't give them enough stars, I never have to worry about bad workmanship or overpriced services.
Thanks!

We discovered around 9 pm tonight (Sunday) that our living room carpet was soaked. Upon investigating, we found it to be our hot water heater. My husband is pretty handy, but was unable to find the problem. I Googled emergency plumbers. The first four we called, including 2 that have catchy radio ads were unavailable until Tuesday, all while our water heater continued to leak! We called Capital and Nick was here within 30 minutes. Not only did he arrive promptly, he was very polite and had us back in business with a working hot water heater, not just a band aid. We highly recommend, and will readily use them next time when we have a plumbing need, after hours or not!

Our drains were slow running, so I called to have them snaked. I got an appointment for the next Monday morning. The plumber arrived early with a phone call to let me know when he would be there. He was very courteous and polite and had my drains running freely in a jiffy. I was extremely pleased with the service and the technician. They will be my go-to plumbers!

This is a late review but I just wanted to reiterate what everyone here is saying. Pierre and his guys really are the most conscientious and dedicated plumbers, there's just no reason to use anyone else. If they cannot get to you as fast as you need them (what happened when we had an emergency at our place on a weekend once), they will give you the number of people they trust who can. They have fixed a few issues at our Austin homes and have always been prompt and expert. Pierre was also able to help answer some questions I had about an issue I was having with a plumber in Houston! He is generous, and truly dedicated to being the best plumber out there. We are clients for life.

I called with a plumbing issue and needed same day service, with two kids at home and a totally backed up house. I left a vm explaining the urgency and requesting a callback. Dave called back quickly, and although he couldn't do emergency service that day, he recommended a larger service that could. I needed that timesaver and have to commend Dave for great service even for a non-customer.

Abel is a fantastic plumber. He was very responsive when I had a plumbing emergency and has been my go to plumber ever since. (Old house, what can I say?)

Braulio is that good! I had him repair / replace my water-main, we started with a quick quote based on text messages and photos. He then qualified the quote with a visit later that day and we setup a time for the repair. He was a little early getting here on the day of service, which was very nice. Braulio walked me through the process and was done before I could make my way home for lunch. I will definitely be calling Standard Plumbing when it's time to replace my water heater.

We had them out recently to try and figure out why we had a puddle in our yard. He was quick to get back to us, and we loved that he was located in Manor. We also appreciated his knowledge and honesty when he correctly stated that it was a problem with the city's water line. We will for sure hire him again if we ever have another need for a plumber.

I would call a different plumber if I were you! At first he seemed very reasonable and nice. He told me he would only charge me for his time and not mark up the equipment he had to purchase in order to fix my water heater. Near the end of the job he stated how much he spent on the equipment, which was substantially higher than what he quoted me so I asked for him to provide me the receipt. He then got very angry and told me he would try and get it for me. Shortly after our conversation he emailed me the receipt from Winsupply and something seemed off. I then called Winsupply and asked them to send me the receipt with the same purchase order. The receipts were the same except for the amount of the pump being substantially less than the receipt he provided me. It's not my place to say if he doctored the receipt from Winsupply but obviously something doesn't add up (please reach out to me if you would like to see the photos). After the job was done, I confronted him to try and understand the misunderstanding and he got furious and threaten to call the sheriff and post a lien on the property if I didn't pay. To make matters worse, after we agreed on an amount owed I signed the invoice and told him I would have a check sent to the address listed on his invoice before the end of the day. He refused and told me I had to pay with CC right now, which I refused. I will be sending him a check in the mail considering he finished the job and worked around my schedule (reason for two stars).

UPDATE (03/06/2021) I got a call back from the plumbing manager. He reviewed the invoice and reversed the diagnostic fee, as well as made some adjustments in the repair cost calculation. They acknowledged miscommunication and miscalculation on the billing. Thank you Stan's for making this right.
WINTER STORM REPAIR BUYER BEWARE (03/02/2021). I called Stan's Heating Air & Plumbing because they did pipe repairs on my neighbors home Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021. They did a good job, repaired a pipe and found another leak after turning on the water. Because it was late, they had to come back the next day to finish. The plumber I had called for my own repairs gave an extended availability date, and since Stan's did a good job on my neighbors, I called to check their availability Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 and got an appointment for Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021. I knew my issue was at the rear of my unit because water was coming out of my siding. On Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 I called to ask about their pricing schedule to get an idea of the expenses I was going to incur. The customer service representative stated that there was an $89.00 service fee and they quote jobs individually; there is no hourly labor rate. So I said ok and waited for my appointment.
Thursday Stan's tech showed up and I showed them where the leak was occurring. The tech stated there is a $775 DIAGNOSTIC FEE!
All I could think is, what is there to diagnose!? There is clearly a busted pipe and it's behind my siding. There is no water intrusion in my house, it's all exterior. I asked about the $89.00 service fee and he stated that Stan's just acquired the plumbing side and that the $89.00 fee is different. Excuse me?? What do I do now?? I have been without water for 5 days, plumbers are backed up, and now I am being told I need to pay $775 to take off my siding to diagnose a leak that is obvious. And no, the $775 does not go towards repairs.
Reluctant, I agreed - what else was I supposed to do given the situation the whole city is in?? The leaks were exactly where I suspected they were.
He proceeded to find a total of 9 breaks along the hot and cold water lines and I was charged $425 PER BREAK. At what point, after finding 2-3 breaks along ONE line do you say hey - I am just going to replace this whole line?! Apparently you don't if you are going to charge $425 per repair and make your money. At no point did he communicate that each break was adding up.
At the end of the day, my water was restored at a cost of $4600. I can't help but feel I was taken advantage of, especially considering there was NO $775 diagnostic fee billed to my neighbor just four days earlier. If this isn't price gouging after a disaster, I don't know what is.
For additional context, another neighbor in my complex had 4 breaks and was billed $1000. A third neighbor had 3 breaks and was charged $573. These two companies were not Stan's, but it makes it all the more interesting when I compare that to my bill.
Shame on you Stan's Heating, Air, and Plumbing. I am still waiting for a manager to return my call .

We had a job that involved a radiant floor heating system that most plumbers wouldn't touch (and the ones that had, messed it up) but the Plumb Doctors were able to trouble-shoot and get to the bottom of an issue that had been plaguing us for months! Thank you again!!

The best plumbing Service that I have ever dealt with. They won't try to scam you or talk you into something you don't need like other plumbers around Austin. Wyatt Is a pro at his job and can solve some really tricky and challenging problems with the lowest cost to you. He is professional and treat your house like it's the space shuttle, never leaving till the job is perfect. These guys are a 100% better than those radiant people.

Had a great experience with Raymond who was prompt & courteous a couple months back. He took time to answer all my questions, going beyond just the basics of his job and gave me great advice to help me care for my tankless water heater and pipes. I'd definitely use them again.

Mark is awesome. I'm a contractor and have a handyman business as well. I've used Pure a few times and have recommended him often to my social circle. He has always been solid on my work and the feedback I have gotten. Its rare to find a contractor that is not only skilled but professional. Pure is that. I know I don't have to worry about his work or doing what he says. Awesome.

Olvin and his team are the real deal. They did an amazing job tiling my bathroom. I had something come up that prevented he and his crew from working for about a day, but he was very flexible and still finished the project when he said he would.

I was able to get an estimate for a static test for the drain lines in advance. Scott came the next day with a very short notice (because we had problems reaching the tenants). Scott did the test professionally and sent the results via email immediately. I really appreciate his help and would recommend his service to anyone.
