Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX

I am a picky Circle C homeowner, and I've come to expect some level of disappointment with home repairs and services.  Not so with Brad B Plumbing. Brad replaced our hot water heater, and I am completely satisfied with his work.  He was on time, professional, detail-oriented, and made recommendations that saved me money.  I will certainly be engaging Brad's services again for future plumbing repairs and projects.

Great work on a multiple toilet install could not recommend them highly enough. Even let us buy the toilets off Amazon for installation.

Gilbert does amazing work and is super fast. I had him replace a bent outdoor spigot and hose bib. He cut just enough drywall to do a very clean job. He also recommended John Borsi (I Love My Handyman) who did a flawless drywall repair and texture. Both gentlemen were fantastic craftsmen and all around great guys. There's a big difference between your average plumber and handyman, and folks like Gilbert and John who take pride in their work. Excellent communication, awesome results, and attention to detail.

We just had a new kitchen sink installed at the same time as having new countertops. We thought we just needed the waste disposal reattaching but when Eddie came it was apparent that the sink wasn't even attached and the new faucet was loose. So a small job turned into a larger one but Eddie just rolled with it and was informative and professional and great to be around. He even offered to take away a lot of the packaging and various other bits and pieces left from the original install. I am so happy we went with Rooterman and had the good fortune to work with Eddie.

I needed someone to come out within 24 hours to identify a problem and A&T responded quickly and professionally. Chris came out, was able tp identify the issue, and clearly explained what needed to be done. They were kind, professional, and quick. Thanks A&T, we will be calling y'all again.

Recently, I heard dripping sound whenever my upstair toilet flushes. I called David on Friday and left a message. He returned my call couple of hours later, and scheduled to come out on Monday. He called before he came over on Monday and showed up on time. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in about an hour, his workmanship is great and his charge is very reasonable. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

I'm not sure where to start but I'll keep it brief and to the point. There is no better contractor that I've worked with in 14 years in Austin. We had a water heater go out right before Thanksgiving and our family was in desperate need of a replacement. 10 minutes after finding Abel on Yelp and reaching out through the app, he agreed to purchase a new tankless wanted heater and be at my house by 9am the next morning. It sounded too good to be true, but sure enough Abel arrived the next morning and installed the heater perfectly. The process, efficiency, and handiwork are second to none. Thank you Abel!

When my water heater started leaking I knew I was in trouble. But it didn't stop working right away so I had some time to shop. Then it went out completely and I needed to have it fixed. I contacted several plumbers including Braulio, and he had the best price, the brand of water heater I was looking for (A.O. Smith), and availability that day. He had the new water heater installed that afternoon, did a fantastic job including adding the components now required by code, and did not add anything to the original quote. I highly recommend this business and will use Braulio again for any new plumbing needs.

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home.  He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home.  Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath.  He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.

In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental.  My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.

And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze.  We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.

In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work.  Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. You are the best!!!

Hands down the best and fairest plumber in Austin and surrounding area.  Jim worked long and hard to repair our sewer line and was priced 20% below the next lowest competitor. He does excellent work and is always smiling. He showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule.

I can't say enough good things about our service with Stan's. Landon, our technician, came out 5 hours early (when do repair guys ever come early?!), diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and was on his way to his next appointment in less than 45 minutes. Very kind, personable, and professional.

Plumb Doctors are very responsive and the office was able to schedule next day service when I needed to repair the temperature and pressure relief valve on my tankless water heater.

They sent Sam to work on this particular problem and he is very knowledgeable. He even pointed out a few deficiencies in the original installation of the water heater that may have caused the issue in the first place and corrected them during this visit. Additionally, he performed a descaling of the tankless water heater and the heating efficiency has markedly improved -- it takes much less time for water to heat up than before.

The only downside is the price, but it's worth it for quality materials and workmanship that will withstand the test of time and avoid costly re-work (will update this review if anything changes).

Will use Plumb Doctors for future plumbing emergencies and maintenance!

The five star reviews are not a joke. Since you have now found Thunderbird Plumbing Co. you literally do not have to look any further.

I determined I had a slab leak on the hot water line. Spent a good portion of my day internet stalking and calling around different plumbing companies. A few didn't have time in the schedule for at least a week and a few didn't do slab leak jobs but made some referrals. This is how I found Thunderbird, another company suggested I call them.

Called them up and got Ted on the phone. He gave me a quote over the phone but said his earliest availability was next week as well...bummer.  He answered all my questions, talked me off  the ledge of a whole house re-pipe and I felt pretty comfortable with going with them given the Yelp reviews, if only they could get it done sooner. Not less than 10 mins after getting off the phone with Ted he called me back and said they can come out the next day and get it taken care of.  Score!

Long story short, these guys came in, found the issue, stayed on the job a really long time as mine was one of the trickiest they had seen, let me hang around and learn some of the tips and tricks they use on a day to day basis, and after all that and after the sun had gone down for a couple of hours they gave me an invoice that matched the phone quote from the day before ( I wanted to pay more after seeing what they went through ..if you can believe that?)  and for a kicker came with a 1yr parts and labor warranty.

In my eyes the job looked to be a total pain but Ted and Jeff just kept rolling with the punches and figured out the puzzle that my crazy bathroom and plumbing presented.

They are coming back ( if this first job didn't scare them off ) when I do said bathroom's remodel.
