I had to have a service call for my sprinkler system this week.  It was still under warranty and a valve for one of the stations went bad.  Austex was very prompt in sending someone out to look at it,  We live way out in Bastrop and sometimes the companies from Austin take their time in servicing their stuff.  But not Austex; they came out right away and took care of the issue.  Their technician Anthony was excellent to deal with.  He was very polite and explained things.   Anthony has great customer service skills and I appreciate that.

John, from Colony Home, was such a lifesaver. He was so knowledgable when it came to two separate water issues we had- he helped with everything from the mitigation to repair. His team on-site was kind and trustworthy.  His office team was organized and responsive. I would recommend John over and over again!

Felix is the pipe whisperer. I've never seen anyone who can diagnose a problem and fix it as quickly as Felix. He is prompt, works fast, and gets the job done. I had to call him on the morning Christmas Eve to fix a leaky toilet, and he was there within 30 minutes after I called him to take care of it. Now that is what I call service! I always call Felix when I need a plumber. I've recommended him to several friends, and they call him now, too. Felix is the best by far!

I can't praise these guys enough. I have been using them for about 11 years and they always do great work with my yard maintenance, landscaping, and any sprinkler repairs that are needed. They have also helped with some close friends sprinkler install, and they have been happy with that work as well. Very fair prices, and always gets the job done right!

Sylvester came out right away when we had an emergency. He immediately got to work and fixed our issue. He is very fairly priced, and does great work! I would highly recommend him!!

Eric and his assistant Bobby are professional craftsmen. They did an awesome job on replacing our very old water heater.  Eric is always communicating; he's a wonderful dude. I am happy with their work.  I will call ET plumbing again when i need a good plumber.

Friendly on the phone, BUT HORRIBLE IN PERSON. Mike came over to look at a water heater issue I was having last week. I paid a fee for him to come out because everyone else seemed to be booked. I just wanted it fixed as soon as possible. Mike was very annoyed that he needed to use a ladder to access the water heater even though I told him it was on the second floor over the phone. He was mumbling under his breath and upset he needed to do that. He told me that I would need to replace the entire water heater and would call me with quotes because he had to get to the next place. Never called me back. Since then, I called another plumbing service and they fixed the water heater for $180 in about 30 minutes. Stay away.

We experienced a water leak Friday afternoon in the home we are currently renting. We notified our landlord and he said that Cedar Park Plumbing would be coming out Saturday between 10 & 12.

My wife and I adjusted our schedules that day to wait...and that's exactly what we did.

11:00 Called and left message to confirm service call.
My call was returned shortly thereafter to say the tech was running late; plan around 1:00. We were next in line.

2:00 No tech; no call. I called back.
Again, shortly thereafter a call back said that they'd call the tech and call me back.

4:00 I called and left yet another message.
20 or so minutes later, the dispatch called back apologizing and that we'd be next on the list.

During this call, the service technician called on the other line (which I didn't recognize the number and I didn't take the call). I finished with dispatch and checked my voice mail 20 minutes later. It was the tech...UGH.

I called him back and he said that he'd already been deployed to another call. I was beyond frustrated.

I cannot tell you how good they are technically because they're business operations are quite simply, a joke. No amount of apologies or calling me attempting to reschedule for Sunday.

I can understand that they may have been busy due to the recent weather we have had. Their lack of timely and realistic expectations and ZERO forward communication has caused me to *NEVER* recommend them in a positive light.

You're are better off trying anyone else.

Reached out to David early Monday morning about a clogged kitchen sink in a house which I had just purchased and moved into.  He responded quickly with a quote and offered to fit me into the schedule that morning.  The clog proved to be significantly worse than either of us expected, approximately three feet of hardened grease and garbage disposal debris that had accumulated in a dip in the line about 25' from the trap which he showed me through the camera feed.

Despite having to work on it longer than anticipated, he honored the original quote.  He even allowed me to watch on his camera feed as he cleared the final bit from the line and pushed it on down into the main feed.  The quality of service was excellent and timely, plus they cleaned up after themselves leaving the kitchen almost exactly as they found it, minus the clogged sink.

Good service, reasonable price and prompt response.  It is easy to recommend David @ Clear and Present Plumbing.

I cannot be happier with the emergency phone support provided by Curt (sp?) this morning. Our home air conditioner was not working properly and Curt stepped me through a troubleshooting process that determined the capacitor probably needed to be replaced. I went to a local air conditioner repair shop with my old part and was able to replace it, saving a service call and getting the house back to normal. THANK YOU for the excellent phone support!

My mother here in Lago Vista Texas had GC come out on Monday, March 30th, 2020  to replace an old and leaky outdoor faucet. They had done the same for me a year or so ago for around $200. The GC employee at my mom's place looked at the fixture and then came back and told her it would be $1100.00. My mother is 81 on and on her own now and doing things my dad used to do. She was stunned...but with no knowledge of what a true and honorable cost should be...she signed their electronic work order on a notepad. The job took an hour to an hour and a half...and it was only one GC employee there. I find it hard to believe that a replacement faucet, $70 service call and the time of the GC employee could honorably come to $1100. We have asked for a copy of the work order and receipt. They still have not provided one so that we can verify the work done and its legitimacy. Be careful.

I purposely gave two stars instead of one, so that this review would get listed. Read through the reviews and you will see a theme repeated. They will show up when you have an emergency and overcharge you. It happened to us. The price was ridiculous, and based on what follow up plumbers showed us, what they did was unnecessary. They do a great job with SEO which makes them pop up first when you're in a hurry and do a Google search, but do yourself a favor and call Johnny Rooter or Blue Dragon. Both of those have dozens of great reviews.
