Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX

Sosa Services Plumbing Service
Recently had foundation work done which required a separate engagement for plumbing services to preform a hydrostatic pressure test to warranty the work.

I had a great experience with Sosa Services. They provided transparency and where able to schedule the test next day. My technician, Gio, was prompt, professional, communicative, and extremely polite. Gio was very patient and took the time to answer all the questions I had about the work being done. All-in-all, I would recommend Sosa Services to my neighbors for plumbing needs

Austex Sprinklers Plumbing Service
Hired a local landscaping company to re-do my backyard. In the process they busted a line on the sprinkler system and did a few other things to the system I wasn't quite sure how to fix. Gave Austex a call and Logan came out and diagnosed the system and corrected the issue.

The new landscaping also required less sprinkler heads and I wanted those capped. Logan provided a quote and completed the work today. Very pleased.

Will use these guys again and highly recommend.

People's Choice Plumbing Plumbing Service
People's Choice Plumbing has excellent customer service and their technicians are friendly and competent.  I hired People's Choice Plumbing to inspect and start a gas fireplace in their home.  I could not be happier with the result.  Great communication, on-time service, and my parents are happy!  The technician checked the gas line, turned on the fireplace and showed my parents how to light it.  We will definitely use People's Choice Plumbing for our future plumbing issues!  Thank you!

ET Plumbing Plumbing Service
Eric and team are hands down the best contractor we've used since buying our 1960s house full of questionable DIY. Eric was easy to get a hold of on the phone, took the time to understand what we needed, and gave a very competitive quote. The team that came out was professional and did the  job better than we had hoped. After, we asked about getting a tankless water heater installed and Eric was happy to make a trip down here. He was extremely thorough in looking at options and again the price was very competitive. Given the high quality, appropriate pricing, and top notch personability we won't use anyone else.

Advanced Plumbing & Rooter Service Plumbing Service
These guys are the nicest, most professional plumbers I've ever worked with.  Professional on the phone, punctual.  Love their communication.  This would be a five star rating except for the price.  I paid $300 for them to clear 2 slow draining sinks of hair clogs.  They arrived at my home at 10:00 and were gone just before 10:40.  The actual work took less than 10 minutes.

In their defense, they showed me the price and I agreed to it, but that was before we knew how easy this job would end up being.  I assumed it was a much bigger problem.  Based on their stellar reviews I would have expected them to discount the work more after we learned how easy the repair was to complete.

I appreciate and respect that this is a small business and they need everything they can get to succeed, but I do feel that I was overcharged for the amount of work that was performed.  I am not sure if I will use them in the future or not, but that's solely based on price.  I would rate them 5 for service and 2 for price.  I gave them a 4 star in the end because 3 felt too harsh.

These guys are amazing from my experiences with them. J.R. and his crew have done an excellent job. I've used them twice in the last year, and they've gone out of their way to fix the issue without charging and arm and a leg. I would recommend them to anyone that needs any plumbing work done. I'm glad I finally found a solid and dependable plumbing company, and I'll be using them for any future issues.

Clear and Present Plumbing Plumbing Service
I needed someone to go look at my rental property ASAP. Tenant said there was a leak etc. I messaged 5 businesses with info etc. Clear and present plumbing was the only one who could get to the house within a week, actually the next day!! I let him know I was the landlord so I needed the info ahead of starting work. He gave me a quote right away and then the next day he showed up on time, let me know what was wrong, completed for less, and I paid online. Will definitely use again

Christianson Air Conditioning & Plumbing Plumbing Service
I've used Christianson for many years now, but lately I have to wonder if they've gotten too big to care as much about their level of customer service.  They've always been reliable in the past, as far as heating and cooling goes, but my experience with their plumbing services and emergency service is very poor.

Not long ago I had a Christianson plumber come out to do minor repairs to a toilet and a gas pipe (fireplace ignitor).  The toilet repair didn't hold up more than a few weeks and the workman mangled the failed utterly to remove the old gas ignitor; instead, he twisted and mangled it so badly that he finally gave up the job and said he was afraid he would break the pipe (which would leave me in a much more serious position).  I didn't realize what had been done at the time, not until much later (when the winter came along).  Rather than remove the pipe and cap it, I was left with an ignitor that's turned SIDEWAYS, with one section of flames that would burn directly into the floor of the firebox if I dared turn it on.  I'm going to have to have this job tackled again by another plumber.  I blame myself for not staying more on top of this at the time, but really, you should be able to trust a plumber to do a proper job no matter what obstacles he encounters.

More recently, during the cold front and freezing weather, water pipes broke at my home late on a Friday night.  I called the emergency number listed in the phone book and  navigated a series of voicemail menus and finally was told  to leave a message with the emergency service and I'd be contacted as soon as possible to arrange for an after-hours repair if necessary.  I left a series of messages that night to update Christianson's on my status ( using the car headlights in the dark to  search for the cuttoff, I finally got the water  shut off, but I still wanted to get repairs underway as soon as possible).  I never ehard back from Christianson's, not that night, not the next day, not the day after, not the day after.  What's the point of advertising 24-hour emergency service if all you do is leave a message, never speak to a human being, and are never called back?  Hell, I could set myself up as offering 24-hour emergency hotline available if that's all there is to it.  Sure, call any time and say whatever you like -- just don't expect any response.

I arranged to have the repairs done by a competitor.  Christianson, I expected better from you.  I even emailed your customer service dept. from your website and aired my complaint last week, and you never responded to that either.  Do you care at all anymore, or are you in fact too big to take care of longtime customers?

Absolutely great customer service to begin with!  Hands down a great job and in a timely manner.  Replaced my grinder next day after the initial visit. Left everything in my yard way cleaner than when he found it.  Super pumped to recommend these guys, especially Jason!  My new plumber for life, and I have several properties!  Thank you!

Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning Plumbing Service
If you want the job done right the first time, call Radiant Plumbing. I didn't and I regret it deeply.

After sudden water damage from an unknown source had our floating floors floating, I called the big national chain (BNC). I needed someone there fast and I figured they had the resources. They were nowhere near as professional as Radiant Plumbing, who as it turns out, is very quick to respond.

The BNC team caused unnecessary damage to my home and their plumber walked in with a bad attitude and spent just a few minutes trying to track down the source of the problem. He didn't find it, he just found theories Radiant plumbing debunked. The BNC plumber was dismissive and didn't seem interested in listening to me - the customer. He said he would be back when the water restoration team finished their work. Then the restoration team and the plumber went MIA for a week. We didn't have a week to sit on our thumbs.

Chris Taylor from Radiant Plumbing came to our aid. He was thorough, attentive and courteous. I have two fathers who have decades of experience in the home improvement industry and I can comfortably say that Chris from Radiant Plumbing would be one of the few contractors to get a thumbs up from both. Chris walked me through each phase of his leak detection efforts. He told me what his gut said, but also told me what we had to rule out, with the hows and the whys. He even shared his method of approaching our issue in a cost-efficient manner given the known variables. He gave me a few tips relevant to maintaining and selling a forty-year-old home and he never pressured me to spend a penny more than I needed to. NOTE: Radiant mostly carries higher end parts and fixtures. They can get you the store bought brand and price tag, but for most things in plumbing, there is a big difference. Our 2004 Kohler toilet, for example, had an ill-planned tank that disliked commercially sold ballasts of every size. I picked out a Wolverine Brass toilet and named it Logan. I'm familiar with the brand, and yes, it really is worth it. You can search all across the internet and you will rarely find an unhappy WB owner. The parts are not at Home Depot, but you won't be needing to worry about that for a while. They last longer and are maderBETTER.

Chris found what a BNC plumber and two insurance adjusters could not: the source of our water damage. We did have to do a smoke test to find our problem, but I'm so glad we did it. We ruled out many other things and we found an issue with our upstairs toilet and had it replaced. I had forgotten that I had used the toilet as a brace during a cataplectic attack days before and without Chris' help, it's likely we would have wasted more time in the search for a cause and accrued more damage to our property in the process. That toilet, which was a brand new selling point when we purchased, never rocked once and there was no obvious water damage or discoloration at the base. The cleanout below the toilet runs into our 1st-floor laundry room, and it validates Mr. Taylor's findings wholeheartedly.

What I did not share with Chris is that I had worked as a handyman's and journeyman's assistant during my high school and college summers. I had even helped two times previously on several old school smoke tests. While I don't remember everything from those summers- or much if you've seen me tile- I do remember seeing a wide view of ethics from other onsite contractors. Chris handled our situation ethically, compassionately and with a great amount of class. He, Matt Neely, and the lovely folks in dispatch, truly are ahead of the class and I would not hesitate to call them again.
