Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
We have now used Sosa Services twice in two months. We needed two ancient toilets replaced and Sosa Services replied quickly and with the best quote by far, out of many other quotes I had received through Yelp. They provided quick, friendly service all while I was on a work meeting in my dining room. Then last week our garbage disposal decided it was no longer for this world. Sosa Services came out the next day and had the thing replaced in under 45 minutes. Definitely recommend!

Young Alex was my tech to service and repair my sprinklers. He was personable and polite. He carefully tested each zone and found several leaks which he promptly repaired.
My most favorable comment is he has the characteristic of the sevice people I love. He was competent. It can be a rare trait these days!

Send me a text, show me the problem Wow, this was after the guy David and I had a long talk about my water heater problem ... I asked him about price and it was out of my budget at this point, because of not knowing what was actually wrong with the water heater . But clearly he was concerned about my situation so he said take picture of the leak and texted it to me and let me see if I can access and try to give you a more definitive price.
After a couple of photo texts he accessed the situation and said barring that there is no other problems.... this would be the price $$ but if there's other issues after we get there then the price will go up to this $$. A young man by the name of Stephen called shortly after I text David and he said he was on his way and promptly showed up very courteous, respectful and professional and quoted me a price less than what was quoted earlier I was happy to pay what was quoted earlier but he said don't worry just do a Yelp he also informed me of another potential problem which at this time I couldn't take care of however I will be using them again in the future in about a month. I know I've only use them once and for short period of time but I do highly recommend them and will be recommending them to my friends.
What I liked about the conversation on the phone: it was not standardize he did not talk to me like this was just business as usual he actually talk to me like I was a human on the other line if he were a doctor people would say he had a great bedside manner I'm just saying he wasn't trying to make a sale he was just being for real and honest. I guess it doesn't get any better than that. -
-Thanks Stephen & Steff

Colony Home did a fantastic job on my house! John was a great communicator and he personally owned the job from start to finish. Everything was done on time, on budget, and with great workmanship. Don't let the small number of reviews here fool you, John may be somewhat new to Texas, but he's been a pro contractor for a long time!
When I originally found out that I had water damage in my house the part I was worried about the most was the restoration contractor. I've had an iffy past with contractors in Texas. However, from the very beginning John was honest and forthright about what he could do and how he did it which put my mind at ease and eventually led me to select Colony Home for my restoration.
He helped me walk through working with my insurance company (which turned out to be a significant part of the process), he provided clear and detailed statements of work, and he was always very clear in his communication. From start to finish John was hands on with the process and he always knew what was happening with my house every step of the way.
In the end his team did a great job on my house! Most of my 1st story floors needed to be replaced and it turned out perfect. He replaced a section of my kitchen cabinets and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. The old and new cabinets flow together in my kitchen and you can't even tell which is new and which is old, that's how good of a job he did. Finally, he was the only contractor that got the insurance company to provide for cleaning as part of his estimate which turned out to be a must with the flooring work we had to do. Because of that cleaning we had a nice home to walk into as soon as we were ready to move back into our house.
All in all, John made the experience almost effortless. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to do restoration work.

Felix is amazing!! I called him on a Saturday (along with several others) and he was the only one to call me back. When I explained that water was flowing freely from my kitchen faucet into my lower cabinet, he was able to determine what the problem was AND walked me through the repair in less than 3 minutes. Who does that? Well, Felix does. Even though he didn't actually step foot in my house, I consider him a plumbing genius and he is our forever plumber now.

These guys are awesome. My wife coordinates all the basic landscaping needs and their professionalism has always been the best. We moved from Teravista to Paloma Lake, I was trimming bushes and getting other things trimmed up before the sell of the house. I made a pretty big mess and planned to use a rake to clean it up. They happened to pull up for the lawn. After they finished the lawn, they did the regular blow clean up and went above and beyond and started blowing the other landscaping trimmings and helped me put it in the trash can. We continued their service at our Paloma Lake house and now they also do our neighbors. There prices have stayed very steady and reasonable. They show up like clock work, we leave the money in a hidden place and have never had any issues (9 years of service and going).

Honest and do good work. Knowledgeable plumbers. Worked with us on our remodel and also helped us last minute. Highly recommend.

Incompetent and Rude. Guy has no business still offering his services. Not professional grade.

I called them in need of multiple small plumbing jobs -- but with a crazy timeline that kept changing as we had not yet closed. ET Plumbing was super fast, reliable, accommodating, and HYSTERICAL. This company is legit. I would not hesitate to call them back in the future.

These guys are the nicest, most professional plumbers I've ever worked with. Professional on the phone, punctual. Love their communication. This would be a five star rating except for the price. I paid $300 for them to clear 2 slow draining sinks of hair clogs. They arrived at my home at 10:00 and were gone just before 10:40. The actual work took less than 10 minutes.
In their defense, they showed me the price and I agreed to it, but that was before we knew how easy this job would end up being. I assumed it was a much bigger problem. Based on their stellar reviews I would have expected them to discount the work more after we learned how easy the repair was to complete.
I appreciate and respect that this is a small business and they need everything they can get to succeed, but I do feel that I was overcharged for the amount of work that was performed. I am not sure if I will use them in the future or not, but that's solely based on price. I would rate them 5 for service and 2 for price. I gave them a 4 star in the end because 3 felt too harsh.

We experienced a water leak Friday afternoon in the home we are currently renting. We notified our landlord and he said that Cedar Park Plumbing would be coming out Saturday between 10 & 12.
My wife and I adjusted our schedules that day to wait...and that's exactly what we did.
11:00 Called and left message to confirm service call.
My call was returned shortly thereafter to say the tech was running late; plan around 1:00. We were next in line.
2:00 No tech; no call. I called back.
Again, shortly thereafter a call back said that they'd call the tech and call me back.
4:00 I called and left yet another message.
20 or so minutes later, the dispatch called back apologizing and that we'd be next on the list.
During this call, the service technician called on the other line (which I didn't recognize the number and I didn't take the call). I finished with dispatch and checked my voice mail 20 minutes later. It was the tech...UGH.
I called him back and he said that he'd already been deployed to another call. I was beyond frustrated.
I cannot tell you how good they are technically because they're business operations are quite simply, a joke. No amount of apologies or calling me attempting to reschedule for Sunday.
I can understand that they may have been busy due to the recent weather we have had. Their lack of timely and realistic expectations and ZERO forward communication has caused me to *NEVER* recommend them in a positive light.
You're are better off trying anyone else.

I was having a new shower built and needed a plumber. I started with a plumber I'd used previously but when the tile/bath installer came back, he commented on the issues he spotted with my new plumbing. I called my plumber who indicated that he could come back but it would be even more expense. I decided to start fresh. I am so glad I did. David gave me a very reasonable quote upfront, came the next day, made all the corrections and gave me a good explanation for what he had done and why. My installer came back the next day and was very impressed. So was I. Since then I've called David in to do a small job for me and again was impressed with his explanation of why and what he did. Also again, he was very reasonable.
David is very personable, professional and gets the job done correctly at a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time.

$95 to light a pilot.
I used this company to install a new water heater. After 2 years water heater is acting up and the pilot light keeps turning off. According to them, it is because of the heat. I own few rental properties and I never had this issue. I even have the same water heater installed in other homes that never had this issue.
First time they came to look at the issue, they charged me $95 - their service fee. I am fine with them charging the fee if they resolve any issue. Their guy came, relight the pilot and charged me $95. Now after two weeks, it happened again and when I called them again, they want $95 again to relight the pilot.
Because according to them, I need ventilation in the attic. I have another 10 year old water heater next to the one that is having an issue and it is working completely fine. So the problem is with the heat or the water heater? I have the same water heaters which they installed, in another house that has no ventilation, and are working fine. So the issue is with the water heater or the ventilation? When I asked this question to the lady who was answering the call, her response was, I can't explain that to you sir.
I only lost $95 in the deal but they lost lot of future revenue from me because what is the likelihood I would have used them to install another water heater since I used them once.
I twice had some issue (once with sprinkler and another time with garage) in which the company I called, charges service fee but in both cases the issue was so minor that they didn't charge me any fee. That's when I became their lifetime customer and gave them lot of business. This is the difference between the company that takes care of their customers and the company that just cares about their bottom line.

***SCAM ALERT!!!!!*** This company sold me on their sonar leak detection services at 400/hr. The guys sat on the ground at the water main w/o any special equipment and then after an hour (and a 400.00 bill) told me he couldn't hear anything it was too windy. He was also supposed to fix my leaking shower faucet but told me he wasn't qualified to do that repair either.
I hired an irrigation company and they fixed the problem outdoor leak in 20 min.

I have had a few great experiences with Radiant, all with outstanding professionalism, customer service, and excellent workmanship. We have had them out at least 4 different times to deal with plumbing (hot water and pipe issues) and AC concerns. Every time they presented us with lots of options after spending a good deal of time troubleshooting and diagnosing the issues. Our most recent issue was our A/C went out and they had someone out the next day to help us. We were given several options for solutions after being described and shown the problems. We opted for a full replacement, yet due to the architecture of our home it proved to be a challenging assignment. They sent Woody and Tim to assess the situation, which took a lot of measuring, scoping, geometry calculations, and simulations. Narrowing down to the best option they did a test cut into the ceiling to verify and confirmed before finalizing the plan. Then the next day the system was fully installed with no issues, which include cutting a big hole in the ceiling to make it work. Tim then came back and did amazing repair work. It is like there never was a hole. He was very particular about making sure the work was clean and unnoticeable. Everyone involved in the project demonstrated great expertise, careful craftsmanship, and quality mindset. We were so grateful we called in this team for this challenging project and we are very pleased with the results. We will use them again for other projects.
