Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX

The Owner texted me over the holiday weekend when we had a leak and had to shut off water to the house at the meter. He Gave me a quote of $300 to $500 based on the photos I texted. I thought that was high, but he was the only plumber I communicated with who'd give me an appointment day and time.

The owner called that morning to confirm the appointment, and the young man called when 30 minutes away, was respectful, cleaned up after himself, etc. I liked the work the young man from Sosa Services did yesterday. But he had to go to the supply store two different times, which took hours.

But then, when the work was completed, I was asked for $575. I thought that was exorbitant.  I paid $500 but thought that was still too high.

I would recommend them if you're in a situation where you've just got to get something fixed ASAP, but I am going to keep looking for someone more affordable.

We were extremely displeased with our experience with Austex. They were more in the pricey side so we were hoping that we would be getting a high-quality service. Although the sprinklers themselves work well, the sprinklers did not work when they completed the work and they had to come back out days later to get it working. The location of the sprinkler valves were all around the yard including one right in the middle of the yard, as well as one next to the driveway and in areas that are high traffic areas. Three of the trees in our backyard did not get any water at all. When we tried to get some of these valves moved we had a tremendous amount of challenge connecting and coordinating with the company.  They wanted us to pay the full amount before completing the work.  They also destroyed out front garden bed and left it with part of the partition missing! They would not repair it at all.  I would research other companies instead of Austex.

I had called David to checkout some small plumbing concerns with a rental property I had just purchased. I live in Austin, so he went to check it out and let me know that the water to the house wasn't currently turned on. I felt badly because I hate to waste anyone's time. He still checked everything out and gave me the best diagnosis he could without water.

As time proceeded, I had multiple other contractors in to work on other aspects of the property and they ended up taking care of the small plumbing concerns.

So when an opportunity came up for a installing piping for a washer and dryer, I called David again. He came to the site himself, completed the job the next day, for a fair price.

I will definitely utilize People's Choice for all my plumbing needs going forward.

I really cannot praise this company enough. Rian is perhaps one of the best employees I've ever encountered. He ensured that my place look decent while taking care of a leak.

Came out here on my schedule to help me with a problematic situation. He scheduled a construction estimator the same time he was there.

I'm well on track on having my repairs fixed in under 2 weeks.

I have nothing but praise for Felix and his team for a difficult and expensive job well done.  This really is as good as it gets.
The City of Austin informed us that we had to replace our wastewater line that was roughly 80' in length.  They not only beat out all of the other estimates by thousands of dollars (one other estimate was over $10,000 more than what Felix charged for the same job), but they knew exactly what they were doing and how long it would take.  The got it permitted and planned the job.  When we were at work, they did everything in one day!  Amazing!  The next day the city inspector reviewed and passed it with flying colors noting that the grade of the pipe was greatly improved.  Felix was personable and friendly.  He has been working since I think the 60s and remembered when our neighborhood was built in late 70s.  He explained everything to us and hand delivered the final inspection.  I have strong recommendations for this company that they will do the job right no matter how complicated and charge you a very, very fair price.

I can't praise these guys enough. I have been using them for about 11 years and they always do great work with my yard maintenance, landscaping, and any sprinkler repairs that are needed. They have also helped with some close friends sprinkler install, and they have been happy with that work as well. Very fair prices, and always gets the job done right!

Honest and do good work. Knowledgeable  plumbers.  Worked with us on our remodel and also helped us last minute. Highly recommend.

After my grandparents were extorted by a previous plumber, it was nice to meet Sylvester and his son. Sylvester took his time and did an amazing job and even called to check in on my grandparents. After my grandparents were abused by a previous plumber Sylvester was like an angel. He charged us half the price of the previous plumber.

Eric was an extremely nice, helpful, professional, and caring plumber. He took the time to check on my plumbing issues on Tuesday and patch me up until the repair could be completed on Thursday with no extra charge. He was prompt, able to work with my scheduling conflicts, and completed repairs very timely. His prices were very fair as well. He clearly cared about protecting my property and even did little things like tighten the toilet seat which I didn't even say anything about. I can't speak highly enough of Eric and his team. He was even nice to my dog! We are happy to have found our plumber in Austin and highly recommend him to everyone in the area. Thanks, Eric!

Fast, reasonably priced, professional, and knowledgeable. Advanced Plumbing is awesome. Mike was dispatched when I accidentally drilled through a copper pipe in a bathroom wall. He took the time to explain the repair and new technologies available. In total from phone call to repaired, 2.5 hours. I will be using Advanced Plumbing exclusively in the future.

We experienced a water leak Friday afternoon in the home we are currently renting. We notified our landlord and he said that Cedar Park Plumbing would be coming out Saturday between 10 & 12.

My wife and I adjusted our schedules that day to wait...and that's exactly what we did.

11:00 Called and left message to confirm service call.
My call was returned shortly thereafter to say the tech was running late; plan around 1:00. We were next in line.

2:00 No tech; no call. I called back.
Again, shortly thereafter a call back said that they'd call the tech and call me back.

4:00 I called and left yet another message.
20 or so minutes later, the dispatch called back apologizing and that we'd be next on the list.

During this call, the service technician called on the other line (which I didn't recognize the number and I didn't take the call). I finished with dispatch and checked my voice mail 20 minutes later. It was the tech...UGH.

I called him back and he said that he'd already been deployed to another call. I was beyond frustrated.

I cannot tell you how good they are technically because they're business operations are quite simply, a joke. No amount of apologies or calling me attempting to reschedule for Sunday.

I can understand that they may have been busy due to the recent weather we have had. Their lack of timely and realistic expectations and ZERO forward communication has caused me to *NEVER* recommend them in a positive light.

You're are better off trying anyone else.

Guys came out and troubleshot and fixed/replaced what they thought was the problem without tearing into a wall. The leak continued so I cut a hole in the wall. Reached back out to CPP and they came right back out and fixed the leak with no further charges. Thanks gentleman. Appreciate it.

Called last night and left message after air conditioner stopped cooling. Got a callback early this morning and arranged for technician to arrive that morning before noon. After a call-ahead, Bettan arrived around 10:30 AM and swapped out capacitor in no time flat. All around positive experience.

Feel so taken advantage of.  Called a local company to snake out my kitchen sink.  The nice young man spent almost an hour looking at every piece of plumbing in the house, comes back with a quote of $1356 to fix all our problems.  Then when I asked how much for just the kitchen sink - $359.   I said no and was then charged $69 for the estimate.

First and last time I will ever call GC Plumbing.

I was impressed with the responsivleness when I called Radiant, but overall was left with bad taste in my mouth. I was given a preliminary estimate that seemed high, but I was not aware that this was a flat-price bid. I thought that we were talking about a worst-case scenario, which we were. What I didn't hear was that the worst case price was what I would be charged. The job took fewer hours and materials than expected, but I paid full price. The work seems competent.
They did agree to refund $100 when I complained. I will never call them back.
