Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
The Owner texted me over the holiday weekend when we had a leak and had to shut off water to the house at the meter. He Gave me a quote of $300 to $500 based on the photos I texted. I thought that was high, but he was the only plumber I communicated with who'd give me an appointment day and time.
The owner called that morning to confirm the appointment, and the young man called when 30 minutes away, was respectful, cleaned up after himself, etc. I liked the work the young man from Sosa Services did yesterday. But he had to go to the supply store two different times, which took hours.
But then, when the work was completed, I was asked for $575. I thought that was exorbitant. I paid $500 but thought that was still too high.
I would recommend them if you're in a situation where you've just got to get something fixed ASAP, but I am going to keep looking for someone more affordable.

Logan was great! He showed up on time and explained what he did clearly. The price was fair and reasonable and our faulty system now works great. Highly recommended!

My water softener went belly up and water was leaking all over my floor. I tried calling a few plumbers and couldn't get anyone to answer - People's Choice answered on my first try and Dave was able to help me quickly bypass the softener so that we wouldn't have to go without water. He gave me some helpful advice and I did some research, but in the end, I was so pleased with his quick response and helpfulness, that I decided to go through him to get the softener replaced. I'm glad I did. Dave is friendly, quick, and knowledgable. I will be using him again should the need arise.

Colony Home was awesome! When our kitchen flooded this summer we had no idea what to do. First we called Blackhill Restoration. After they dried us out and demoed the damage they referred us to John Flores at Colony Home. Oh boy did we make the right decision by calling him. He promptly came out and gave us an estimate and answered all of our questions, and we had alot He was as professional as could be and lowered our stress level by about half. If you are dealing with any fire, water, or storm damage trust nothing but the best to put your house back together. And that is Colony Home.

Can't recommend these guys enough. Very kind and professional and explained everything clearly. Showed up promptly after I contacted them because they were concerned I had a main leak from the few pictures I sent. They addressed my concerns and fixed all the issues. Up front about the price before proceeding with the work. And the prices were very reasonable!

Mike, thank you bro :)
My water heater failed (at the worst possible moment hahaha) and he quickly came to diagnose the problem and in less than 40 minutes from my initial phone call, he already had a new water heater at my house quickly. He came because he takes jobs from select home warranty. Select Warranty did not cover breaks in the water heater (that is ridiculous, whats the point ??). In an hour he already had my old unit out and was installing the new intake lines in an instant. The whole installation took less than 4 hours. He is very knowledgeable and I feel that I could trust him. He explained to me all the questions that I have about plumbing on the spot. He is personable, friendly and professional and I appreciate that.
He got me out of that bind quickly. The price was a steep for a water heater install (I realized that later, he did the job short notice i suppose it is worth the up charge to a certain extent) but he was prepared, thorough and the work looks solid. He gave me several options and fielded all my questions. His work is guaranteed for 2 years.
I did not do my due diligence because of time constraints. Regardless, he was quick and was straight forward with me and did quality work.
Mike is a plumber you can trust, give him a call he will take care of you as best as he can. I recommend him 100%

Had some minor work done on the toilets and everything was excellent. From setting up the appointment, to the confirmation and Bill coming out and working, it was all oustanding. I hope they know what they have with that guy because he is quick, professional and very honest. I would recommend Cedar Park Plumbing to anyone...and will!

Reliable company with knowledgeable technicians. They showed up in less than 30 minutes and solved the issue on a weekend within 2 hours. My only complaint is that they left a huge hole and mess in my yard and driveway and I was to left to input a new irrigation box and clean everything. If I'm paying $200/hr after hours you'd think you could spend 30 more minutes to finish the job and put the new box. It took me longer to do it because I don't do it every day.

Sorry...i know plumbing reviews are kinda boring. I have a water leak somewhere in the input side of our home. So i needed a plumber right. I decided to give Christianson another try after questionable practices from them previously.
They send a guy out who looks over the problem. Seemed unsure of how and what to do as i explained my issue. I even offered suggestions. Basically all that happened was he confirmed that the water plumbed to the house did have a leak...somewhere. Perfect, i knew that already, that's why i called you out.
Then he tells me that he cannot tell where it is and thus he cannot fix it. WTF...isnt that your job?. Incidentally Christianson advertises in the Yellow Pages and website that they perform leak detection. Then he charges me $89 for the service call. I asked him what did he do other than tell me he cannot fix my problem that i should pay him $89? He said that's their policy. So i had to pay this company to drive into my driveway and tell me they cannot find my leak or fix it. Seriously? You're kidding right? Nope!
Never...Never... ever again Christianson...
I am kicking myself for ever giving this company a second chance.

I originally wasn't going to post this review, but after discovering the techs adjusted my water heaters without my request or consent, I feel compelled to warn other would be customers.
*Be aware of the $69 dispatch fee*. They will charge this regardless of whether they provide the diagnoses, info or repairs you requested. When I objected and called their office, the first thing out of her mouth was We record all calls, we have you on tape. Who does that? Suspicious and unethical.
Worth noting that I invited the 2 gentlemen into my home to bid on a water heater, a shower valve replacement and a thermal valve replacement. They proceeded to tell me they were going to look over my entire house to which I said I don't want that, I only want the bid for water heater, shower & thermal valves. They said It's just something we do, not once mentioning that I was paying for this busy work I never requested. After being told they would not remove the thermal valve I said Ok, I'm going to hire someone else. Thank you for your time. The tech then said I put his family at risk because his license could be revoked blah blah blah, to which I replied I'm not hiring you. How am I putting your family at risk? He continued to mutter to his colleague that his info was valuable and some other grumblings. He really seemed to want confrontation. It got a little tense, but by that point I was willing to give them $69 to never have to deal with them again.

We called Radiant out for an AC tune up as we noticed our downstairs system was running a couple of degrees hotter at times. We have also used them in the past for plumbing and we very happy with those services. When their tech came out to visit he told us both our systems were in complete failure and that a systems specialist would need to come out - and could come out same day to quote us on replacements as there were no options to repair that would make any sense. Needless to say we were surprised and concerned as we were told this was a health issue and when we had called the systems weren't failing, one was fine and one working but not as well as we liked. The specialists came out and gave us repair options of $8K up to replacements options up to $24K. We were encouraged for replacements however since the repairs were costly and would not truly fix our issues. I have a near and dear friend fortunately with his own AC expertise and called him in a panic (I didn't call him in the first place since he lives across town and had just thought our 11 year old ACs needed service). Luckily he came out, checked things, added Freon and let us know that we'll continue to monitor to see if there actually was a leak or something more in need of repair. For zero dollars (I did send him a gift for essentially saving us $20k).
Had Radiant been playing the long game here and offered to do the same, they would have made more $$ than trying a scare tactic of needing full blown repairs and replacements with no options less than $8k. I know everyone is in the business to make money but please go elsewhere for this and ALWAYS get a second opinion. We were lucky we weren't in full blown summer temps and broken systems but even then - go where they will have some integrity and give you repair options within reason. Lesson learned that I wanted to share as there will be companies that will do this the right way. This just isn't one of them.
