Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX

A great experience with every facet of the job they did replacing my hot water heater in the hectic bad weather week around Christmas. They kept me informed and were on time and on quote. I'd definitely use them again.

Called a couple of other top rated companies, but Austex was the most friendly, so I decided to schedule an appointment.  For now, I believe it was right decision and I was very satisfied with working with the company. Phillip from Austex showed up a little bit early and found the problem quickly.  Fortunately it was just wiring problem, so the fix was simple.  While he ran some diagnosis, he explained what he was doing to make sure I  understood what's going on.  After the fix, we tried to turn the zone on and off repeatedly to make sure the fix was robust. I scheduled another appointment for the tuning of my sprinkler system right away since I was pretty happy with the service.  Highly recommend working with the company for your sprinkler problem.

My kitchen facet needed to be replaced asap because it had a bad leak. I called Dave because I read the awesome reviews and told him I needed to go pick up a facet and have it installed the same day. He said no problem text me as soon as you get it and he quoted me a way better price then a bigger company I called the night before. He came installed my new facet right away. Did an awesome job and even checked my hot water heater at no additional cost when I told him I had concerns about it. From now on I will only be calling Dave for my plumbing needs.

I would not recommend Colony Home for any work on your home. We used the company for a mitigation job at our home. Throughout the project we were given deadlines and promises that were not met. We were promised that after the mitigation was complete, Colony Home would repair our home in 2-3 weeks. Instead, they took 2-3 weeks to give us an estimate and then let us know that they could not start the work for at least 2-3 months. We felt like we were being constantly lied to in order to get our business. We found the project manager John to be abrasive and not very pleasant to deal with. Overall, we did not have a very good experience with Colony Home.

I have yet to meet Felix but when I need plumbing work done I am calling him!! I have heard about him from several sources, so he can't be influencing unfairly. Hope it's okay to pass this on to others looking for a good plumber!

These folks finished the job in only one day.  I would highly recommend them for your landscape and irrigation needs.

Sylvester came out right away when we had an emergency. He immediately got to work and fixed our issue. He is very fairly priced, and does great work! I would highly recommend him!!

Eric and Christie were great to communicate with. From the yelp quote reply to the follow up via text message, and an itemized receipt, the entire process was smooth. We had them our to replace our outdoor hose bib and the job was professionally completed. Highly recommend these folks for your plumbing needs.

What can I say besides this has been the best company I have worked for. The office staff is wonderful and always happy. I was having a new shower built and needed a plumber.  I started with a plumber I'd used previously but when the tile/bath installer came back, he commented on the issues he spotted with my new plumbing.  I called my plumber who indicated that he could come back but it would be even more expense.  I decided to start fresh.  I am so glad I did.  David gave me a very reasonable quote upfront, came the next day, made all the corrections and gave me a good explanation for what he had done and why.  My installer came back the next day and was very impressed.  So was I.  Since then I've called David in to do a small job for me and again was impressed with his explanation of why and what he did.  Also again, he was very reasonable.  
David is very personable, professional and gets the job done correctly at a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time.

We had a slab leak (our 2nd one in a few years) and had to totally replumb our house.  Thomas and crew were the consummate professionals, going above and beyond to solve some unexpected problems.  The work was done on time and definitely better than expected.

Too expensive and not able to fix the problem! This company charged  
$ 380 to have the plumber look under the bathtub and visually diagnose the leak. After the leak was confirmed, the plumber told us that they can't neither repair nor replace the bathtub. After few calls and discussions, this company offered to install new bathtub (simple soaking tub) for
$ 4800!

So the faucet started leaking like crazy on a Sunday evening, turned the water off and searched for a plumber.  Seeing all the ads on TV for RP&AC, I figured I give them a try.  I pulled up the website, and to my surprise at 8:45 pm they had techs available via chat.  I described the issue, gave them my info and at 7 a.m. the next day I got a call scheduling the service.  That alone impressed me.

A couple of hours later I got another call that a technician was available, they explained the COVID-19 protocol and measures again, asked about ours as well.  Isaac M. showed up on time, and also explained all safety precautions and confirmed if I was ok with them and if he could enter.  Very professional.

Now onto the real issues, of course the sink did not leak while he was here, but after fiddling around and taking the faucet apart, he determined, and showed me that the cartridge was bad and with pressure build up it could leak.  He then asked if he could check the rest of the plumbing, and while I had originally not mentioned anything about my stuck downspout in the master bath, he did discover it, explained why they break and gave me an estimate to fix it.

While inspecting the water heater, he discovered that the exhaust pipe was not attached, something I never even considered checking.  YIKES!  A few minutes later he gave me an estimate for each separate item to fix, replace or everything all together.  A quick authorization email and he was on the job hunting down the needed parts.

Installation went smooth, no mess left behind, and all items are in functioning order with a 2 year warranty.

I think I have found my new to go plumber.  Thanks Isaac M. and the rest of the team.
