Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX

Almost a year ago, I hired (was the first, but not the last of several times) Sosa Services to replace a backflow stopper in my backyard.

About a week ago, I noticed the backflow stopper started leaking - messaged their office, and they promptly got me scheduled and got the unit replaced under warranty, no paperwork and no headaches. Another data point for me to keep them on my speed dial/text for anything plumbing.

We had someone come out to fix a leak on our sprinkler sprinkler system from Austex but within a week we had the same problem cone up again. The owner came out himself, repaired the leak and gave us a credit for any future work and apologized for the issue. I was very impressed about how quickly they responded and how concerned he was that my problem was not fixed by a previous employee. He really cares about the customer and making sure you get quality service - I recommend this company highly!

This time the owner didn't come out but sent a plumber that was experienced and knowledgeable.
He fixed my leak under my kitchen sink without a hitch.
We will be calling these guys again in the future.

Wow! What a great experience in a time of need.  Colony Home came to our house SAME DAY and provided their assessment and recommendations.  We had water damage from a leak in our upstairs bathroom and they were able to quickly provide a plan and recommendations for what to do.  Mark assessed the plumbing and even provided advice on some other appliances that were giving us trouble while he was here.  Rian tested all the walls for moisture and possible mold which gives us invaluable peace of mind.  He went above and beyond testing for moisture everywhere and explained everything he was doing.  We've found it difficult to find reliable assistance lately, especially after the Great Freeze of Austin, TX but Rian and Mark provided genuine and knowledgeable service.  I would definitely recommend Colony Homes.

American Plumbing's Felix Griffin and his son, Felix Jr., have been our plumbers of choice for decades. They call you back right away and come out as soon as possible. Felix is a character, but the good kind of character . . . easy to laugh, but knows his stuff, top to bottom.

So far so good with these guys.  They come when they say their going to come and will move stuff in your yard to make sure all the grass is mowed.  Their prices are reasonable too.

Honest and do good work. Knowledgeable  plumbers.  Worked with us on our remodel and also helped us last minute. Highly recommend.

After my grandparents were extorted by a previous plumber, it was nice to meet Sylvester and his son. Sylvester took his time and did an amazing job and even called to check in on my grandparents. After my grandparents were abused by a previous plumber Sylvester was like an angel. He charged us half the price of the previous plumber.

We recently got new counters installed in our kitchen which included a new sink and faucet. While I was able to install the new faucet, I quickly realized that the rest of the job (replacing the garbage disposal, re-piping beneath the sink, etc.) were above my paygrade. I gave Bluedragon plumbing a call, but they were all booked up for the next week. However, he referred me to Eric with ET Plumbing. I gave Eric a call that afternoon and he penciled me in for first thing the next morning. Sure enough, Eric and his apprentice Bobby showed up and quickly and efficiently got my sink up and running. Eric is a very sociable and friendly guy who genuinely cares about his customers, and is passionate about what he does. He thoroughly explained everything that he was going to work on and gave me a very fair quote. When all the work was done, he even mentioned that I could call or text him anytime if I ever had a plumbing question and he would give me free advice (even for items unrelated to the work he did on our kitchen sink) - that's fantastic service! In a world of businesses who only care about profits, it's a breath of fresh air to do business with someone like Eric. Eric is now my go to guy for any future plumbing needs I have. I HIGHLY recommend ET plumbing.

I had to them install a water heater because mine broke  and I was showering in the cold. Guy came over with a dog and installed it but wouldn't really talk to me, very passive aggressive when I asked questions. I offered some water because it was hot down there, it's my boiler room. No AC. He ran out of my house without telling me he was finished or showing me that the hot water was back. At the time, I honestly was only focused on the sensual sensation that a hot shower could bring me so I didn't push the subject or call...nope, no hot water for me that night. No sweet release of a steamy session. There was no hot water. I wrote a post on Facebook and someone commented that there has been many stolen water heaters in the area. I couldn't believe it. I ran to the boiler room and searched all around the water heater and realized it wasn't new AT ALL! There were dents and mold on the front panel. I called the man and couldn't get through. For hours I tried to get someone on the phone. Nothing. Not only was I scammed with an old water heater but I also didn't get any hot water.

We experienced a water leak Friday afternoon in the home we are currently renting. We notified our landlord and he said that Cedar Park Plumbing would be coming out Saturday between 10 & 12.

My wife and I adjusted our schedules that day to wait...and that's exactly what we did.

11:00 Called and left message to confirm service call.
My call was returned shortly thereafter to say the tech was running late; plan around 1:00. We were next in line.

2:00 No tech; no call. I called back.
Again, shortly thereafter a call back said that they'd call the tech and call me back.

4:00 I called and left yet another message.
20 or so minutes later, the dispatch called back apologizing and that we'd be next on the list.

During this call, the service technician called on the other line (which I didn't recognize the number and I didn't take the call). I finished with dispatch and checked my voice mail 20 minutes later. It was the tech...UGH.

I called him back and he said that he'd already been deployed to another call. I was beyond frustrated.

I cannot tell you how good they are technically because they're business operations are quite simply, a joke. No amount of apologies or calling me attempting to reschedule for Sunday.

I can understand that they may have been busy due to the recent weather we have had. Their lack of timely and realistic expectations and ZERO forward communication has caused me to *NEVER* recommend them in a positive light.

You're are better off trying anyone else.

I was having a new shower built and needed a plumber.  I started with a plumber I'd used previously but when the tile/bath installer came back, he commented on the issues he spotted with my new plumbing.  I called my plumber who indicated that he could come back but it would be even more expense.  I decided to start fresh.  I am so glad I did.  David gave me a very reasonable quote upfront, came the next day, made all the corrections and gave me a good explanation for what he had done and why.  My installer came back the next day and was very impressed.  So was I.  Since then I've called David in to do a small job for me and again was impressed with his explanation of why and what he did.  Also again, he was very reasonable.  
David is very personable, professional and gets the job done correctly at a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time.

Be careful with them. They will come to your house, pretend they did the work or not fix it correctly and they want to get paid in full right away. They went to one of my rental properties and after a couple of calls from the technician informing me all the stuff were bad, I did authorize the charges of around $800.00 to fix the AC. Well, a few hours later the AC was blowing but not cold enough. I called back to Christianson and they told me that the tenant have to wait at least 12 hours to cool down the house. I informed the tenant about it. Next day the tenant called me, telling me that the house still at 85 F. I have called Christianson several times trying to get somebody out there to fix the issue and they are refusing to go out there because they want to get paid first. What a great scam, I will take your $$$ and then I will try to get it fix. Be careful with this company, their technicians are not that great and their customer services is horrible.

Totally impressed with this company AND Jason, the service rep. that came out and solved our problem.  We have been trying to get our contractor to help resolve our tankless water heater issue for two weeks.  Contractor's solution was to add a second unit...not cheap...without ever sending his plumber out to investigate.  We got frustrated and called GC Plumbing.  Not only did Jason identify the problem, he also noticed the system was not hooked up properly to the propane.  This presented a huge safety concern.  Jason was so thorough and explained everything he was doing BEFORE doing it.  Hopefully we will not have any more plumbing issues anytime soon, but when we do we will be calling GC Plumbing and requesting Jason.  THANKS JASON!

My old water heater kept shutting off the pilot light , had it checked a few years back by another company and they said it was due to the extreme heat snuffing it out.  Called Radiant on Saturday and they came on Monday to check it out and the heat was not the issue.  It was a 12 year old gas heater and was past its service life.  We agreed upon a replacement price and they installed it immediately today.  Quick service and resolution, so now we can have hot water with piece of mind with no chance of a lead heater or no pilot light issues.  Anthony Wright was our technician and he was extremely good at explaining every aspect of the job and thoroughly explained the new system  very well and how to maintain the water heater for a longer life.  I can recommend Radiant if you are looking for a good plumbing company that is quick on response.
