O&M rocks.  These guys saved us from a proposed $4000 repair from a rival company.  The other company took over a week to try and diagnosis the leak and said we needed to replace our entire system for $4000.  Read a review on Yelp about the other plumber, Clarke Kent, that said customer had the same issue.  

We called O&M who quickly diagnosed the leak at 2 of the shutoff valves in the house and repaired it within a couple of hours for $300.  The new plumber says there was only one fitting under the house that showed signs of being tested with soap, all the other fittings still had dirt and dust on them indicating that they were never sprayed.

When the gas company came out to turn the gas back on there was an issue with our hot water heater not getting gas.  O&M came right back out to the house to diagnose the problem before the inspector left to ensure we didn't loose another day without gas.  Got the issue resolved and the gas back on.  Awesome service!

So responsive with a quote, service response, communication, quality of service. We were 1st time customers and I'd recommend them highly and will call them again, if needed. 5 stars!

Our attic stairs were broken and needed to be replaced. I purchased a new kit and hired Diego to install them. He called me to say he was on the way. He removed the old stairs and installed the new ones in a few hours. His quote included hauling off the old stairs. He even hauled off the box the new ones came in for me and he cleaned up the garage floor. Diego is very polite and professional. I recommend him highly.

Even though I needed non-emergency maintenance on my water heater, Emilio treated me like I was a long-time valued customer. He scheduled me for the next business day, answered all of my questions, and communicated with me throughout the process - including their on-time ETA that morning.

Emilio and Brittany had no trouble draining the water heater in the attic - taking extra care not to mark up the walls and floors as they laid the drain line. They worked efficiently, and were courteous, kind, and professional the entire time - which was just under 30 mins. That includes Emilio modifying a flood alarm so it could fit into my drain pan, and cleaning up their work area so it was like they had never been there.

They were able to make room in their schedule for me very quickly and were even kind enough to call and see if I wanted them to come sooner (I did) when someone else cancelled. They quickly identified that the leak was actually a backed up drain pipe from me A/C. They cleared the pipe for me, helped me fix it so that it wouldn't happen again, kindly pointed out that I needed to clean out my dryer vent soon, and vacuumed out all the water that had accumulated. They were very punctual and professional. They're one of a very few businesses that I have saved into my phone to contact again in the future if I have problems. I highly recommend them!

I can't say enough good stuff about this company. I think they hire incredible and truly honest employees. About 4 years ago, we had just moved here and I had developed a cough. So, we thought we might need our vents cleaned. They came over to inspect and said our vents were actually clean and didn't need to be serviced. Turns out, I was just embracing the Hill Country allergy season. Flash forward a few years and I'm 8 months pregnant and we are in the beginning stages of Texas summer...our AC stops working. We call and of course, it's after hours. The technician, Alex, calls us back within 5 minutes of us requesting an appointment. He is extremely polite, helpful, down to earth and was able to get us some information to get our cold air back. Alex, this pregnant momma thanks you for your kindness and helpfulness! Truly a wonderful experience every time we've worked with this company!

Ray (the owner) and another plumber communicated clearly, arrived when they said they would, fixed 4 leaks and drain clogs, and cleaned up when done. I'd hire them again.

LLoyd from GTX plumbing came out same day that i had requested help with my clogged up drain pipe for my kitchen sink which way more than exceeded my expectations since i was told that they would probably not be able to come out until tomorrow. Lloyd was super personal, down to earth and had me up and running in about 15mins. He also helped answer some other basic plumbing questions that i was curious about. I was recommended by a family member to this business. My estimate was given pretty quickly and was able to get into the schedule easily. I had a toilet that needed to be replaced and a problem with a leak in my shower. My toilet was replaced quickly and at a reasonable price and Gabe found out the problem for the water leak in my shower and was easily able to fix it. I was very impressed with the job that was done Gabe was very professional explained everything that needed to be done and what the problem was. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends and will use him again in the future if needed.

With an older house, we were too familiar with plumber services after two slab leaks. Working with the staff at PlumbSmart was reassuring from start to finish.  Our call to request an estimated was returned promptly. Cody came out within a day and provided an estimate that was thorough and reasonable. Further, he patiently answered questions and made reasonable suggestions to improve on what we needed to do. Our secondary shower faucet broke and we couldn't stop the water from coming out in the tub. We called Proficient Plumbing Solutions and they came to our house right away and analyzed what was wrong and how to fix it. They provided a quick fix to our issue and let us know what to expect for the future in case it happens again. Excellent Service and Friendly!

There is a lot to like about this one-man operation. Answers his phone. Shows up on time. But before that he asks good questions on the phone to make sure you don't arrange for services you don't need. Does another test upon arrival to ensure you need the big repair. Knows his stuff. Improves on previous plumber's work. Builds in measures so if it needs a repair in future- parts are more accessible.
You get a sense of Christian's honesty throughout. Note: his quote was not the lowest, and it wasn't the highest either. But you could deduce from his questions and thorough explanations that you were getting a much better service than many might provide. He says he stays one man now in order to be totally accountable. They came 200 miles all the way from Bastrop at 5:30 pm. to fix a broken waterline on a holiday weekend. Keep in mind that they charged us $675.00 to replace this one pipe fitting after we had dug all the holes. On a lighter note you will receive a key chain with a bible quote about Jesus for free.

Kinda  an emergency, needed yard mowed quick.   Martinez Services call texted back in minutes on memorial day weekend.  He got over in a couple of hours on a saturday.  Due to appointment running late had to leave him money out.  He is very honest, did work.  Great job, stayed in contact, sent pictures.  Great guy, great lawn guy.  Top notch.  Hard worker.
