Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX

I had a good experience with O&M Plumbing, but did not have them do any work for me.  I called for an appointment to get an estimate for some work, I can do myself; but I thought if I could get it done for a reasonable amount I would pay to have it done instead.  So, I had O&M come out and look at my project and give me an estimate.  Turned out they wanted to charge more than I wanted to pay, so I declined to have them do the work.  The communication with the folks at O&M was good, the plumbing team arrived on time and seemed to be competent enough to do the work.

It is my recommendation that you use a different service.

Austin plumbing charges a service call fee to come out and look at the requested work.  

Other plumbers do not.  Fact.

My experience consisted of sending photos of the work to get a quote, only to have them insist on an in person visit

What they gained from seeing the same pipe in person vs in a photo apparently cost me $50.

Go another rout.  The quote they gave me was 2x the price I ended up paying.

Had an emergency plumbing issue over the weekend with two toilets backing up & overflow into shower. Quick Response, excellent service, & reasonable price I'd recommend this company & use again!

Our attic stairs were broken and needed to be replaced. I purchased a new kit and hired Diego to install them. He called me to say he was on the way. He removed the old stairs and installed the new ones in a few hours. His quote included hauling off the old stairs. He even hauled off the box the new ones came in for me and he cleaned up the garage floor. Diego is very polite and professional. I recommend him highly.

I was out of state for the holidays when I saw the fire department on my cameras at 3am on Christmas. We had a pipe burst, so much running though my head on what to do first. Luckily, I called Everest Pluming the next morning and they were at my house fixing the problem before I even made it back from my trip! They were helpful, responsive, and sent updated pictures throughout the process.  Couldnt have asked for better service in such a tight jam. Thank you again Everest Plumbing!

They were able to make room in their schedule for me very quickly and were even kind enough to call and see if I wanted them to come sooner (I did) when someone else cancelled. They quickly identified that the leak was actually a backed up drain pipe from me A/C. They cleared the pipe for me, helped me fix it so that it wouldn't happen again, kindly pointed out that I needed to clean out my dryer vent soon, and vacuumed out all the water that had accumulated. They were very punctual and professional. They're one of a very few businesses that I have saved into my phone to contact again in the future if I have problems. I highly recommend them!

Rick Riker came to our home on Friday for a winter check on our system.  We had a falling out with our previous AC company and were recommended to go with Honest Air.  Rick was GREAT!!  He walked me through everything he was checking and discussed some things me might want to do in the near future.  He also could be the ONLY AC person that has come out and didn't try to push us into redoing the insulation in the attic!!  Huge plus in my book!  Someone who isn't just trying to take your $!  He was really nice and sweet to my kids.  Very much looking forward to working with this company for years to come!!

Davis Plumbing saved our old hot water heater pan from flooding over shortly after I called them at 4:30 on a Friday night when we had no hot water and the pan under the old water heater was filling up with water from a leak.  So I called Davis Plumbing at around 4:45 and they answered the phone (after a few other plumbing companies didn't bother).  Ray stepped my son through a couple of steps over the phone to stop the leak and then offered stop by on his way home from work to make sure the leak stopped and would be okay for the night, which he did.  He did came back Saturday as promised and installed a new hot water heater much nicer than the one we had, with leak guards and other great features.  I recommend Davis Plumbing highly and be contacting them again for other plumbing related issues.  Our water heater stopped at 4:40pm Friday afternoon and several companies would not even come. They helped over the phone, came over within an hour to ensure leak stopped and it would be fine overnight.  By Saturday afternoon,  we had a brand new system that works perfectly.  They are great!

I cannot say enough about this business.  Professional from the first phone call!   Casey came out here and fixed the issue efficiently and patiently explained what the issue was and now we have WATER!!!   Highly recommend and thank you!!

LLoyd from GTX plumbing came out same day that i had requested help with my clogged up drain pipe for my kitchen sink which way more than exceeded my expectations since i was told that they would probably not be able to come out until tomorrow. Lloyd was super personal, down to earth and had me up and running in about 15mins. He also helped answer some other basic plumbing questions that i was curious about. I used this company referenced by a friend. I am totally happy with the service they provided me. They explained everything to me and showed me what they were doing. Very reasonable pricing !

Arrived on time but couldn't fix the problem/-I thought it was a clogged hose in my dw, but he said it was the pump.  Had to call dw repair, but glad for diagnosis.  The dw repaiman came and confirmed the plumber's diagnosis and so made sure he had the correct part in hand so my problem was quickly fixed.

The Honey Do guys just came out to replace some insulation that had been damaged by a leak. They did a good job, at a good price, showed up on time, and were super friendly. I'm very pleased, and will use them again!

From the first phone call with Bertin, to actually meeting with Chris and Garrett, we couldn't have asked for a better experience concerning our plumbing next steps. The best service calls, for us, are the ones in which we can learn practical things. This experience was way up there.

Concerns leading to the initial call:
*Hot water heater - Insufficient supply for entire home
*Proper insulation of exposed pipes (positioned in tight spots)
*Remodel practicalities - Odd bathroom/toilet setup, kitchen sink...

First off, these guys shoot from the hip and I could tell they had no intention of high-jacking our wallet for a king's ransom. For each scenario, Chris thoroughly explained what was possible, and appropriate solutions---good, better, best, kind of like the old school Sears catalog.

They took their time, were detailed in explanations and overall, it was just a really nice, informative conversation about all things plumbing. They were personable, professional and straightforward.

For instance, we'd been thinking about a hot water heater replacement. Chris shared what conversion to a tankless system would call for--a permit, fancy, new-fangled, overhead, wiring--basically a whole lotta' money (which consequently is why so many of the newer homes are so much pricer).  He then provided an alternative solution to give us exactly what we needed, made way more sense and is cost efficient.

So, we've got our estimate and next steps. All we need to do is make a few last hardware decisions and call them back for service. We're looking forward to their return (and may even have some cookies awaiting these guys)!

I have had a couple of not so great experiences with plumbers so I was very excited about Christian's work. He suggested solutions, installed new fixtures in tub and sink, fixed a running toilet, turned it into a dual flush system, calked--it all turned out beautifully. I am so excited to have everything like new and at a reasonable price.

Called Osborn this morning and James arrived at noon and the leaking toilet was repaired by 1 pm. Amazingly good service. We'd been waiting a week for repair by USA Plumbing (1 rating out of 5 with BBB) which was referred by the Old Republic Home Warranty. Both USA Plumbing and Old Republic are now history for us!

Osborn has been excellent every time we've called when other failed. We will go to Osborn first from now on.

Avery Handyman (Lewis) is my go to handyman. We've used him for indoor & outdoor electrical work, gutter removal, blind installation and more. Excellent work and all very professionally handled. We've also found his estimates to be fair & better than what we were expecting.

Kinda  an emergency, needed yard mowed quick.   Martinez Services call texted back in minutes on memorial day weekend.  He got over in a couple of hours on a saturday.  Due to appointment running late had to leave him money out.  He is very honest, did work.  Great job, stayed in contact, sent pictures.  Great guy, great lawn guy.  Top notch.  Hard worker.

Out of all the plumbers I called, Jeremiah was quick in returning my call and was the only one availabe WITHIN THE HOUR, all others were available in 3-4 days. To his suprise, removing the clog was a bit more complicated than expected, he even stepped out a couple of times just to find the right tools in order to fix the issue. 4 hours later, he was able to remove the clog. He honored the price that was discussed at first (I was thinking he was going to bump it a bit since he ended up doing a lot more work than what he explained) and cleaned up after. They document their jobs using a software (very organized), they also accept any form of payment (cash, credit card, checks), and they have an option to send the invoice via email (a modern and convenient process). Jeremiah is a nice, polite, and professional person. I highly recommend these guys.
