I am beyond pleased!! This is a local business, husband/wife team. They arrived on time, were soooo friendly, not rushing, and conversing as they progressed, telling us what what going on. What a pleasant pleasant experience. We expected there would be more to the job than actually happened. Emilio obviously knew exactly what to do and did it very quickly. They were able to make room in their schedule for me very quickly and were even kind enough to call and see if I wanted them to come sooner (I did) when someone else cancelled. They quickly identified that the leak was actually a backed up drain pipe from me A/C. They cleared the pipe for me, helped me fix it so that it wouldn't happen again, kindly pointed out that I needed to clean out my dryer vent soon, and vacuumed out all the water that had accumulated. They were very punctual and professional. They're one of a very few businesses that I have saved into my phone to contact again in the future if I have problems. I highly recommend them!

While I've told this hero story to many of my friends the Austin community needs to hear of the outstanding customer service I received by Honest Air Conditioning and Plumbing.  One triple digit afternoon in September I had left work early and was happily driving home to spend what I thought would be a lovely evening with my family.  My daughter-in-law phoned me to let me know she had arrived early, but my Nest thermostat was displaying an error and my house was 87°. While on the phone I talked her through the usual troubleshooting (check the breaker and manually restart the device) to no avail. When I got home I looked up the error code, which indicated there was no power to the device, and confirmed that all wires were connected.  

Most websites indicated I needed to call an AC professional so overwhelmed and overheated after 5pm on a Friday I went immediately turned to Yelp.  Searching for AC repair returned 876 businesses so I looked at number of reviews, star ratings, service area, and snippets of customer reviews. On the first page I came across Honest Air Conditioning and Plumbing who listed a quote response time of 10 minutes so I jumped on the phone.  My call was answered immediately by a warm professional woman who took my information, informed me of their low service fee, and indicated a service tech would be there in 30 minutes.  

James arrived promptly, donned protective booties before entering my house, spoke politely (yes ma'am, no ma'am) and assessed the issue (frozen unit). He indicated that he could not troubleshoot while it was frozen and would turn off the unit so it could thaw.  Additionally he checked the drain line to discover it was clogged. He let me know the low cost to remediate and got my approval before proceeding.  The entire time at my home he was followed around by 2 curious kids and he showed zero frustration at their attention and was playful in return. Before he left he informed me that Rick would complete the service the next day and arrive between 9 and noon.  Also since it was a continuation of this job I would not be charged an additional service fee.

We packed our bags for a slumber party anticipating a call no earlier 10:30.  The next morning Rick called at 8:30 saying he was leaving for my location and I was shocked.  We met Rick to continue the trouble call and then took off to run a few errands. He called 30 minutes later indicating he'd found the problem, the solution was inexpensive, and he had the part on his truck so I asked him to proceed.  Rick also educated me that while my older unit performed well it relied on Freon which would soon be phased out and it would be extremely pricey to maintain, and offered recommendations on replacement units when I ready to learn more.  When I got home Rick was waiting in his truck, the work complete and the AC running again.  I was able to pay right there and shocked that all the work was only $300.  I was floored to find such a great value for such an affordable cost.

I saw on their work vehicle that they are vet owned and hire vets, which as a vet I surely appreciate.  Great service, friendly and professional staff, integrity, and value! Thank you Honest AC & Plumbing!

I have used them for 3 different issues, and every time they are on time, professional and reasonably priced.  Their repairs are great, not a temporary fix but a proper repair.  

Something to keep in mind, if you have a plumbing issue you are likely going to need a timely fix.  Look up pricing and parts cost and have a reasonable idea of what costs you may be looking at before a plumber comes over, so you are not upset with a quote.

Highly recommended, will be using them for my next project!

Needed a clogged kitchen sink dealt with.  Clog was in wall. Showed up and took care of the issue.

What a great local company! Texted Sharon that I had a slow shower drain, she had a master plumber call me. He walked me through a couple of DYI solutions and he offered to have someone come by next day. I opted for next day service. The plumber who came out cleared the drain while teaching me how to do it. Incredible company. Obviously it was an easy fix, but I'll definitely be using this company for life!

I had a leaking water heater that started slow and became progressively worse - Cody was able to move things around and get Joe out to see me the next day for an assessment.  The new water heater installation happened the very next day with Joe and Roger and it works great!  Can't thank Cody, Joe, and Roger enough for the fast action and quality install.  Highly recommend PlumbSmart!

Christian, owner of Adapt Plumbing, is exactly the type of person that you want to work on your home.  He is honest, professional, and knowledgeable.  We had called quite a few local plumbers who either did not call back or did not show up when they said they would.  Christian called me back within a short time of my initial call, fully explained what needed to be done, and provide a date that he could do the work along with a cost estimate.  

When Christian arrived at our home (on time as scheduled), he quickly went to work and finished the job in just a couple of hours.  His rates are reasonable and he is a pleasure to work with.  We highly recommend Christian and will not hesitate to call him again if we need plumbing work done.

Called Osborn this morning and James arrived at noon and the leaking toilet was repaired by 1 pm. Amazingly good service. We'd been waiting a week for repair by USA Plumbing (1 rating out of 5 with BBB) which was referred by the Old Republic Home Warranty. Both USA Plumbing and Old Republic are now history for us!

Osborn has been excellent every time we've called when other failed. We will go to Osborn first from now on.

Kinda  an emergency, needed yard mowed quick.   Martinez Services call texted back in minutes on memorial day weekend.  He got over in a couple of hours on a saturday.  Due to appointment running late had to leave him money out.  He is very honest, did work.  Great job, stayed in contact, sent pictures.  Great guy, great lawn guy.  Top notch.  Hard worker.

I didn't actually get any work done (turns out it wasn't needed), but Larry came out right away, no diagnostic fee, and educated me on what the issue was. Very professional and courteous. Thank you, Larry!
