Super awesome guy. I called one morning in a panic and his wife answered, and then said she check his schedule and call me back. She called me back within five minutes, and within 45 minutes, he was at our door. He diagnosed a water leak problem for us, and it was a big relief. We've found Abel to be reliable, experienced and very easy to work with. My wife and I initially used him to install a tankless hot water heater and have since hired him for other plumbing projects with great success. He is easy to communicate with and he worked with us to accommodate our schedule. He was even able to squeeze us in after the recent ice storm, when plumbers were hard to come by. I highly recommend Abel! I wanted to add a laundry closet to my older home, Abel came out quickly and gave me several different options and explained the pros and cons. His quote was very reasonable. I've worked with Abel twice now and have had great experiences both times! I had some pipes burst after the freeze last year and had Abel replace all of my pipes with PEX. At one point he had to use a sawzall to cut through a piece of wall and he said, I bet you didn't think a plumber could do that! Ha! :)

Abel is knowledgeable, reliable, friendly and a good communicator. I will gladly work with Abel again in the future and recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great plumber.

Haven't been able to get ahold of Abel after he came out to fix our main valve after the storm. Once he left, we immediately had pressure/flow issues.

I hired Abel to address a number of issues with a new home we recently purchased and he did really excellent work. I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently he fixed some issues - it felt like I turned around and it was all better. He was extremely professional and patient as well. He described in detail what he was fixing, how to use certain things properly, and why it was important. So many plumbing issues can be catastrophic if it goes wrong that it gives me so much peace of mind to know that someone looked over my home so throughly. While plumbing is expensive, I think his pricing was very fair and he was available very quickly. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and I recommend that you do the same.

Excellent customer service and prompt response. I had a back up and needed a plumber fast for my rental property. I called and spoke with Abel's wife, who dispatched him and called back to let me know that he would be there in 30 minutes. He quickly fixed the problem and advised what the issue was and the proper maintenance required to prevent this from happening again. Abel took the time to explain the cost saving options and to break down the technical issues with our water heater. He went through a whole list of small changes to try before exploring costly repairs or replacements. He offered to come fix the heater on a Saturday because his next week was booked and didn't want us to go without hot water. I felt like I was in good hands and most importantly he fixed the issue that I had our contractors come out to fix twice!

Make sure to get an estimate before any work is done. That was my big mistake here - don't let it be yours.

Two stars because they did the job, but $250 to run a pipe snake is twice as much as most companies will charge so make sure to call around first.

He did an excellent job. The whole time, he came off as an honest person trying to go good, helpful work. He's in a class of few contractors.

The leak he repaired was something that started unexpectedly and when I text him, he dropped what he was doing and said he was on the way.

Not only is Abel able to plumb PERFECTLY but he is also a great listener. He makes sure to tackle all of your concerns.
Once he determines the root of problem, he will go over every detail with you before starting on the job.
He is determined to get the job done and will not leave the site until it is completed.

My father is coming to town so I figured it was about time to get the house in order. My dishwasher wasn't draining, and neither was my sink, and the disposal was eerily silent... I figured I'd once again made an enemy of my kitchen plumbing.

I called here and got a call back the next day, to schedule something for the same week (I believe they had availability the following day but I had a lot of work commitments I couldn't move around).

Abel was running early and came a couple hours before planned (I was notified in advance). Within what seemed like 30 seconds he told me, your garbage disposal is bad. He explained briefly what was going on and shined a flashlight over the drippy rusty mess living under my sink.

I think it took maybe an hour - super fast - and a new disposal was installed. He told me how to prevent future problems and that was that. Obv it was a little pricey because they replaced equipment, but everything is in working order again. Pleased with the service, would have them out again (although hopefully I don't have to).

If you're like me and had some water coming up in your tub / shower drains, look no further than Abel to Plumb!

I called 7+ plumbers looking for same day or at least next day service. Most were booked a week out but I needed service ASAP! I called Abel to Plumb based on other Yelp reviews and was promptly greeted by Kayla on the phone. She informed me that they could send someone right away and I should be expecting a call from the plumber shortly. Sure enough I received a call from Alex asking what time WE would like him to arrive, talk about a pleasant surprise. Even the plumbers that were a week out were giving me a 3-5 hour window of when they would show up. Plus as a native Austinite I would much rather support local business given the opportunity!

Alex showed up for our same day appointment right on schedule! He quickly diagnosed the clog and remedied it like a pro! He hit a few snags along the way with a part that broke during removal and even had to make a quick run to Home Depot! He did it all with a smile on his face! The culprit was nothing out of the ordinary and he gave us a healthy overall report of our pipes!

I will use Abel to Plumb next time I need service and will most certainly recommend them to friends, family and anyone else needing a plumber!

We are remodeling our kitchen and needed a plumber to install our new sink and plumbing. I contacted Abel and explained what needed to be done. He was able to schedule an appt around our work schedule with no issues. When he arrived he noticed the drain n to my new sink was on there opposite side of where the plumbing was. Abel did what needed to be done to make a new outlet for the plumbing hook up with no problem at all. It took about an hr to get everything done. Abel is very polite, courteous, and professional The cost was even more reasonable that other plumbing companies that I called. I would definitely recommend him

I called Abel after noticing water damage on my kitchen ceiling. It turns out my master bath shower valve was leaking, causing water to run down to the lower lever ceiling.

Abel is a close friend of mine. We came up through the ranks of plumbing mastery together. I have to say without a doubt he's a great plumber and a great guy. I'm not sure where to start but I'll keep it brief and to the point. There is no better contractor that I've worked with in 14 years in Austin. We had a water heater go out right before Thanksgiving and our family was in desperate need of a replacement. 10 minutes after finding Abel on Yelp and reaching out through the app, he agreed to purchase a new tankless wanted heater and be at my house by 9am the next morning. I managed to break the water line in my house just inside the wall, Abel called me back immediately to discuss the job and gave me a fair estimate over the phone. He showed up on time with Alex, and they were able to do the job and even went above and beyond repairing my wall and making sure it looked like new even though I didn't really expect it to. You can't go wrong calling Abel, he's fair, quick, and super nice. I will be using him for all of my plumbing needs at all of my rental homes going forward.

I recently hired Abel to replace my water heater. He came the same day I called him to give me an estimate. He initially told me he could replace my water heater later that day but I hesitated to get additional quotes. His bid was lower and more reasonable than multiple other people and he did the job well. I texted him a few days later and he came that same day to replace my water heater. He is reliable and communicates well. Nice guy and considerate too - he always wore shoe covers in my house and didn't ring the doorbell because my baby was sleeping. He was very patient when answering all of my questions and then answering my husband's questions by phone since he was at work. I did not expect, when I called at 10:00 AM to complain about my busted water heater, that they would have a water heater installed and running by 2:00 PM. They were fast, professional, clean. They took away the old water heater, fixed up the space for the new one, got the gas connections up to code, and fixed up the venting system so that everything is safety compliant. And given how fast they were, I decided to complain about a dripping faucet, and they got right to it and made sure to get it fixed. They were cheap, also, and mellow and friendly. And they wear footies over their shoes to minimize dirt in the house. I definitely would work with them again!

Recently my Pressure Reducing Valve was damaged causing my pipes to make a loud humming noise any time I turned on a faucet. Abel was quick to respond to my Yelp message and was able to schedule an appointment sooner than any other plumbing service I contacted. My water heater was out so I called Abel and I got a quick response on the phone and they were able to come out the same day. We were missing the part we needed so Able ordered it and showed up 1st thing in the morning the next day. He fixed my water heater and when he was done he even looked at my shower diverter. Abel was extreme knowledge, the pricing was affordable and most important one of the friendliest guys you can meet. What a great plumber AND a genuinely nice guy to boot. I was recovering from the flu only drinking soup when my kitchen drain clogged, effectively shutting it down as well as the ability to clean it. I contacted 3 plumbers first thing the next morning and Abel was the one who could get to me the soonest. In fact he arrived around 8:30 am and was done in about a half hour! This meant I could get on with cooking and cleaning a lot sooner than I expected. He also fixed and tightened a toilet that wasn't flushing properly for no additional charge. Excellent customer service and I will definitely call him for future plumbing issues. Highly recommended.

We had an issue with our kitchen sink which rendered it unusable. I called early afternoon and Abel came that evening! He took a look, said we needed a new sink disposal and explained that it's pretty easy to install if we wanted to tackle it ourselves. (My husband was up for it, went the next day and did it!) In the same visit, Abel looked at a couple other small issues we had questions about and gave us some insight into what might be happening and how we can manage it. After all was said and done, he charged us nothing for the visit and said he'd be happy to help over text or phone if we had questions when we installed the new disposal. Abel is now our #1 call for plumbing service!

Abel and his assistant were direct, honest, and hard working. Abel came through to fix a part that other plumbers in my neighborhood have bypassed or replaced.
