We had a sump pump go out. I tried calling around but no one was answering calls or they would flake out.

After I talked to Victor, he had someone at our house in 15 minutes. They replaced the pump with an even better solution, and charged a reasonable rate.

I wish they provided other home services!

Victor relight our pilot light on a water heater on a Sat for about 1/3 less than a local competitors after hours charges.

The competitor simply wanted to install a new heater based on symptoms I described over the phone and the water heater age. Victor repaired it quickly as promised- buying us some time to consider next steps.

Spending money on replacing appliances is never pleasant. However, Victor at Hinsdale Plumbing made it an easy, painless and an informative experience. He replaced our 75 gallon water heater. From the moment when we called him for a quote to the point when he left after finishing the installation, he was very communicative, professional and credible. He educated us on the whole process and provided us with a good quote with no nickel and dime upgrades. A single quote that never changed. He came on time and did the work with minimal asks. The workmanship looks great, the warranty is comforting and the fact that is he is very responsive makes me feel good about the whole process. I will use Victor for any of my future needs and whole heartedly recommend him for any plumbing needs.

I am utterly impressed with this company. My dishwasher was leaking water underneath it slowly but steadily over a few hours after the cycle was completed. I called Hinsdale plumbing to make sure this was not a plumbing issue. On a Friday afternoon, the company promised to send someone and soon thereafter, a serviceman came and checked a few things and diagnosed the problem immediately. (Dishwasher issue not plumbing). It was the fastest consultation and they didn't try to charge an arm and a leg like another company attempted to.

We have been using Hinsdale Plumbing Services for years. We always thought Victor and his team to be knowledgable, courteous, and honest.  However, it wasn't until we purchased a new home and had an emergency sewer problem where we experienced exactly how dedicated and professional they were. Our emergency left us waterless. Victor stopped everything for 5 days; working tirelessly until the issue was completely resolved. He took on the role of general contractor, digging up our yard and removing a truckload of concrete, and completely installing a new sewer line. We don't know what we would have done without him. We are truly grateful for his help; fixing the complete disaster left behind from another plumber. I wouldn't dare trust anyone else.

Victor is amazing to work with. We had never used his services, but at 10pm on a Sunday night, he took our call and came out to our house to investigate. It ended up that a sewage pipe in our yard draining from the house had broken, and Victor worked tirelessly the next week to fix it. After knocking on the neighbors doors to introduce himself and get their permission to drive between our homes to the backyard (the most amazing thoughtfulness ever), he carefully and safely maneuvered his heavy machinery to our backyard, taking care not to damage the property and to preserve our fence. Similarly, when he was done, he removed everything with the utmost professionalism. His pricing was very reasonable and he was thorough, hard working and professional. Highly recommended!

Called this company when our garbage disposal started backing up. Brendan came out very quickly and could not have been nicer or more thorough. Even took the initiative to clean out my kitchen faucet to make it run better. Will definitely use them again!

Called this company on 6/22/20 to fix a leaky water heater. Victor came right out and repaired it. Very professional and knowledgeable and even followed up the next day with a phone call to make sure everything was working well. Will definitely use this company for future plumbing needs.

Victor just replaced out sump pump and once again did a wonderful job.  We have used him for 15 years. The quality of his work is excellent and he is very honest and straightforward.   This is the person you want for an emergency or otherwise.

Part 1)
Brandon came with a co-worker (sorry, I did not get his name) to install the new Water Heater. They had to use serious know how to drain the defunct 50 gallon capacity tank and get the new one in place. We needed a mega-long hose to route to the laundry room which was the nearest viable drain.  And how to get that beast aka 75 Gallon capacity water heater, up and down 100+ year old stair cases? From the side door up some steps, and more perilously, down a very narrow and close, plaster sculpted, basement staircase.  Measurements were taken and evaluated. Brandon took off the door to the basement. Ahead of the task, it was  recommended I remove several ornaments and wall art to avoid damage. So thoughtful. This event spurred me to remove a radiator cover to allow a couple more open inches. In doing so, I discovered ancient dust and hidden mystery wire from a non-operational doorbell wire for which I had been searching for 7 years!  *Maybe warranting a future Yelp* post about a doorbell restorer? *  
Part 2)
Eureka! (pardon the water displacement reference) We have sanity. We have an energy efficient and volume appropriate capacity water heater for our home. The older one was too small for the house and by that inadequacy put a strain on many systems and cost us more on energy.

Victor also gave me a reference for a carpet/flooding person who is helping with the damp carpet. There was no true flooding, thankfully. As of today, he is scheduled to come tomorrow afternoon and address the situation, but over the phone today, he recommended that I rent a flood fan from Buttrey, so I could being the dying out. I have done that. More to Yelp* about...

These guys are the best.  Straight forward, honest, and do quality work.  They are very quick and we were able to schedule an appointment for the next day.  After replacing our hot water heater, it caused a slight water pressure in another area of the house.  Victor came back right away, took 2 minutes to rectify the issue, and we were good to go.  Highly recommend!

If you need a plumber call them. Victor and his son Matt are the real deal. The original job was easy but turned into something more complicated. Needless to say they handled the job with expertise and took care of everything. If I ever have a plumbing issue I know who to call.

Excellent service;  fair prices.  We had a pipe burst during the polar vortex.  Victor came within a day at a very busy time, and installed a new shutoff valve.  His son returned a few days later, and replaced the pipe that was burst.  

We have also used Hinsdale Plumbing to replace two toilets.  Professional service that includes arriving at the scheduled time.  Will definitely use them again.

These guys are reasonable and kicked arse on a weekend no less! top guys seem really experienced and knowledgeable. so far so good!

Exactly what a local company should be like.  No call outs, pricing on the competitive side of fair.  Had a poor company come and see our broken water heater who had decided they wanted to replace it before they saw it.  Told me we could not get parts and fixing the electrics was like fixing a computer, you dont do it.  I called the manufacturer while they were here and they said that the advice was wrong,. They wanted a call out for turning up and quoting for a new tank .  

When they left , Victor from the Hinsdale plumbing answered my call came out, told me my options, was not biased on fix or replace and we chose to upgrade and replace .  Job was priced well and he threw in lots of extra work and guarantees that others would charge for.  Job all done same day and working perfectly ....... could not recommend them more highly ... thanks you gents for being what it should be like .  Word to the wise, if you google Hinsdale Plumbing or plumbers make sure the google grab is pulling up their phone number not some one with an SEO string they shouldn't have

Victor came to out Home in the middle of the night. 1:00am. I mean who does that and still carries the most positive attitude possible. In a word.....amazing. He was a true professional and did one amazing job fixing all of our issues. This is the first review I've ever done but I can assure you hiring Victor would be the smartest move you could ever make no matter what the time. When I was younger, like, say 17 to 19, I worked summers with a highly regarded plumber in La Grange, IL.  We worked at everyone's home, it seemed, from Brookfield, La Grange, Western Springs, Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Burr Ridge and beyond.  Particularly in those last handful of towns I mentioned, we worked in what for me at that age were downright privileges.  Giving no addresses here, but on many an occasion we were seen in and out by an escort service - or maybe better to call it a Butler Service as I don't want minds going the wrong way.  I was back and forth to the truck, footies back on and back to the Quarters, the truck, the Quarters, and so on.  I sure did need to go to that truck a lot!  And back.  And ironically, today, I am a University educated Design/Builder.  Hmmm.  Anyway, it seemed that everywhere we worked or any store we stopped into, my boss, the Owner, was loved by all.  And we picked up work simply by being out and about, people seeing us and saying Hey Mike, We've had this problem, blah blah blah, could you come take care of it?  He'd smile and MAKE the time to very professionally show himself scheduling their appointment in his nice, clean books.  And sure enough, we would  be there as he said we would.  Some of the nastiest jobs (I was the young helper) we did with shoes off, foot covers on, etc.  WHY am I writing about this, my experience with a different plumber?  Because I am extremely critical after all of my GOOD experience.  Most don't meet my standards.  Plus, soon after that (youthful) experience, I changed my University Major from English/Journalism TO Industrial Technology/Construction Engineering.  I'm a tough customer AND the really big plumbing companies now work for me.  Sooo:

HINSDALE PLUMBING CO.  Victor is its owner and President.  Victor first worked in my home in Clarendon Hills, IL (next to Hinsdale) almost 18 yeas ago, around 1999 or 2000.  He was doing the work himself with the same professionalism, dignity and class that I knew existed, but was RARE.  In the years since, my wife and I have never hesitated to trust Victor and his company along with the fine young professionals he trains and trusts to represent him and perform the often laborious and/or complex troubleshooting and repairing of the waterworks we depend on each day and take 'so for granted'.  Usually, it takes losing warm water in the dead of winter, water pressure in the shower, the Kitchen, or worse, like our home last winter: sudden need for all new Laundry Machines, this summer: breakdown of our Water Heater Tank.  We know we can trust Hinsdale Plumbing Co. to be responsive, to keep their word on WHEN they will be there, and they will be fairly priced.  We have come to trust them enough to send them out to Lisle - outside their region! - to override the service team at a condo we own and take over.  We prefer having Hinsdale Plumbing service our Lisle (Four Lakes) Condominium rental.  You won't go wrong!

Sorry to make a short story long.

Victor came out for a emergency sump pump replacement very late at night. He explained all work he did and was very professional. Pricing was extremely fair. I highly recommend Hinsdale Plumbing and will be using Victor in the future.

Victor was great.  Our entire house sewer was backed up and it was late on a Sunday night and he picked up and arrived In minutes. Victor was honest, great prices and had top of the line equipment. He was very knowledgeable and able to diagnose the problem quick. Fast Friendly service definitely recommend for any plumbing service.

Victor is the man! I had a hot water heater fail and I messed with it for 2 days before throwing in the towel and calling an expert (I'm a tinkerer enjoy trying to fix stuff). Victor arrived the same day and took logical steps to isolate and diagnose the problem. He's very good at what he does. I feel like many other hot water repair guys would have knocked around a bit and tried to sell me a new hot water heater. Victor truly wanted to avoid doing that. He figured out that the thermostat control module that I had already replaced on my own was a DOA part. He put in a new one and I was good to go. He saved me a ton of money, and I am greatly appreciative.

He replaced our leaking water heater with what seems like a nice unit a couple months ago. His price was very competitive. Still getting hot water, no complaints!

I called the company three times today and waited all day for them to come I was assured by the person on the phone that they were coming. now that it is 5:15 pm they tell me they don't come out to Lemont. A lot of good that does me as water is leakIng  all over my kitchen. Great communication on their part. I would never ever  recommend them.

Wonderful service!  We had a loose toilet that had been repaired by another plumbing company some time ago, but the problem happened again.  This time I called Hinsdale Plumbing, based on the Yelp reviews I read. Those reviews were spot on! Matt, Victor's (the owner) son came out that afternoon and surveyed the situation.  He was smart and tenacious, determined to fix the problem, emphasizing service and he did it at a very fair price.  If you're looking for responsible, respectful service, please give them a call.  A great example of a family that works to be proud of their product.

Was able to come out same day, which is the only person that wanted to do so after calling late in the day without overtime fees.  Family run and oriented business.  Knowledgable, gave good options, and did good work.  Very happy I called and Victor came out.

Victor did it again!  We had an emergency after a big rain and he came out quickly after hours to help us out.  He is trustworthy, honest and knowledgeable.  He made a great referral to help when it turned out not to be a plumbing issue.

We called Hinsdale Plumbing on a Sunday owner Victor picked up right away. We had a issue with our kitchen sink backing up and water coming out of of washer on the floor.  He said he would be able to help in about an hour.  He sent his son Matt over to fix our problem.  He was in and out within a 1/2 hour.  Problem fixed!!! Wow!!! Now that is service you can count on.  We will call them in the future, best I have seen in a very long time.

Called them on a Sunday - off a Google search and connected with Victor. Unlike the others, no evaluation or show-up fee. Brandon, from their team, came by within the hour evaluated the problem and remedied a problematic sump pump. Seasoned professionals, great service, will use again and recommend to others.

Called Victor from a referral as my wife and I just bought a home and had a leak under one of our faucets. When I discovered the leak I had called another plumbing company who was nice but told me I must replace all the valves in the house and quoted me $1200. I called victor who reassured me they could take care of it for much less and Matt came out on a Sunday to do the work. Matt spent a few minutes examining the issue pointed out by another plumber and told me there wasn't an issue and that nothing had to be done (he went into great detail as to why ensuring I understood it all). It's rare to have people who aren't just out to gouge customers (like the previous plumbing company). Victor and Matt at Hinsdale plumbing will be my go to for any and all plumbing needs. Really good people!

They came out and I had a drippy sink. They turned off the hot water and didn't fix the problem because they couldn't figure out our high end faucet. They said they would be back after doing some research. They never called. After a two week waiting period I called back and they said they would have owner call me. No response again for a week. So I called back and the they said sorry and would have him call ASAP. The owner called pretty quick and came out but again, he didn't fix the problem and said the exact same thing. That they are just really busy but He will look it up to see if we can find out what to do to fix it. They turned off our faucet and never turned it back on. No call or courtesy head ups after a month of waiting. I will never use them again. When a company says they are just too busy and can't take the time to research a problem without getting paid they have very poor customer skills. Every company and profession has to do extra hours off the clock if they want to succeed. Also if they would of just said we aren't knowledgeable on this sink, use someone else it, it would of been better than leaving  us hanging without hot water and ignoring us.
