Great work by Matt and his team. Fixed our toilet at the quoted price and was in and out quickly. Very polite and on time. Use them for your next project, I know I will.

We contacted A&D from a neighbor recommendation to look at what we suspected to be a leaky pipe in the foundation. They were able to assess the area and issue in about an hour and then they back in a few days to fix the problem. They were very clean and thorough in the whole process (placing down tarps, blocking dust, and cleaning up afterwards). I was also happy when he fixed issues that were surrounding the area as well, and not just fixing the crack and leaving. While they were here, they quoted me to get my hot water replaced (which I kind of knew was coming)...so I had no problems with having them come back for that.

I am extremely satisfied with their work and will post a few pictures. The one with the dug up ground might look bad, but they were so accurate, they only had to pop off 2 of the tiles. Then they corrected all of the original pipes and wrapped them (like they should have been). Edit: I added 3 before pictures, 1 with the broken pipe, and 2 after pictures with all new shutoff valves, copper pipes, gas pipes, and the area cleaned up

I also found the line of communication with the office manager, Debbie, and the plumbers, Matt and Brandon, to be easy to work with. There was never any doubts on work to be done, scheduling, or billing. The prices were reasonable as one company wanted to charger over $750 just to locate the leak!!!

A&D Plumbing will easily be my first choice for plumbing from now on.

I used A&D last year for a leaky outdoor faucet, which they replaced and I had them do 2 for a little more.  No issues

This year my toilet was old and running all day.  The valve didn't turn properly.  

Very fair price and came out within 48 hours.  The plumber wore a mask, put down tarps on the carpet when walking and took the old toilet at the end.  

He even consulted us on some advice for no charge.  

Will use again.

A and D replaced my leaky water heater. They are timely, polite, and work hard for you!  

I had recieved quotes from other people who seemed to want to rush the job, who I ultimately did not feel comfortable with.  But not these guys, they are very professional.  

Debbie was also very responsive by text as they were waiting for the right-sized water heater to arrive for our smaller-than-normal HVAC closet.

Great professional service. Scheduled an appointment thru yelp to fix the loud noise coming from shower faucet. Matt immediately identified it as air in the pipe and fixed it and didn't even charge me for it. Now I know where I am going for all my future plumbing issues/tasks. I highly recommend them.

Debbie was extremely helpful.  She responded to my Yelp message very quickly and even let me text her some pictures of the issue I was concerned about so they could better gauge my situation and advise me on what they could do.  I appreciated this company's accessibility, fairness, and honesty.

Debbie received our request for a quote and promptly responded. She was also very nice and thorough. So fantastic on that end. Then Matt and (sorry can't remember 2nd guy's name) came out and did an absolutely fantastic job. You know good work when you see it, so look at he pics I attach to this review. The cost was very reasonable. I picked these guys because of all the very positive detailed reviews I found on Yelp. Now I see exactly what they meant. We will be using them for all our plumbing and related services needs. Also, I believe this is a locally family owned business. The quality and dedication definitely reflect that. Ok not sure what else I can say, they are awesome.

Just used A&D for the first time, and happy to say it won't be my last. The staff is fast, efficient and friendly, which lately seems impossible to find these days!

I found A&D through Yelp as I needed a couple of items taken care of around the house. I submitted a request via their website, and heard back shortly thereafter. I setup an appointment scheduled for the following week, and received my confirmation call the day before. They arrived in the morning, did the work, and were out in probably an hour. The guys were professional, did a great job, and explained everything they took care of and what I should keep an eye out for going forward.

From start to finish it was a great experience, great value, and great business. I would definitely recommend them and will keep their number handy for next time!

Matt and Brandon are some of the smartest plumbers I've ever encountered....and I've dealt with many plumbers over the years.

My sewer pipes were blocked, after being cleaned out by another local plumbing company six months earlier. A & D plumbing arrived on schedule and turned what could have potentially been a $6,000 - $10,000 job into a $400 bill, by simply using their knowledge and being persistent.
And let's add the most important factor, their honesty.

We had a back up at our house and contacted A&D right away. They got back to us right away, I would say within 10 minutes. They said they were not able to come out until the following week which wouldn't work for us. But instead of just writing us off after we told them we would look somewhere else, they told us all the possible causes for our problems and told us to contact them if we had any questions.

Even though we were unable to use their services, customer service like this is what makes me want to call them for the next plumbing issue.

I contacted him through yelp at like 10pm, it wasn't an emergency. In fact it was a consultation.
He came the next day, explained me all my options. I was so happy with the way he was treating me and my wife that I requested him to do one job on the spot and he did it fast, clean and correctly priced.

Will definitely work with him again.

Great all around. Very friendly! Loved Debbie and her sons Brandon and Matt. They came out right away and fixed our plumbing issue that 2 others could not fix. Very informative. I will definitely recommend them and use them in the future!

I requested a quote on an issue with my toilet late Sunday night. I had a response from Mike first thing Monday morning. I agreed to the quote and Mike had a crew to my house early afternoon Tuesday! Water was pouring out of our garbage disposal when we used our sink. I found A & D Total Plumbing here on Yelp. I left a message and received a call back from Debbie within a few minutes. Brandon came out the next morning and made all the necessary repairs. I would highly recommend this local family business. A & D provides professional and courteous service at a fair price!

They were able to come the same day I called, fixed the problem fast, charged a reasonable rate, and the guys that came were pretty funny (bonus points).

Second review and another job well done by two polite, respectful gentlemen. I requested a quote and got a prompt response. The price was  the lowest and I shopped it. A & D has earned my loyal business.

We had a job to install some toilets and add a waterline for a humidifier. Matt and Brandon did a wonderful job installing them with ease and cleanliness. I had a Moen shower cartridge that broke off inside the valve. Came looking on yelp for a plumber to help get it out. Called several plumbers, but Debbie at A&D was willing to give an approx quote. Matt and Brandon came out on time and were able to get the old one out and put in the new one. Honestly they saved us from having to replace the whole valve which would have meant tearing up the tile. These guys are a local, family owned company and I'm glad to have given them my business. We have been looking for decent plumbers since we moved to the area.  A couple of emergencies that caused frantic and quick reviews of the phone book turned up decent but EXPENSIVE options.  This time though, there was no emergency and I could take some time to check out different options.

I called A&D (among others) to get the cost to replace two hose faucets outside.  After hearing some of the other prices, some less than stellar attitudes and a call back some other time.  I decided to go with A&D.  Tony and Brandon showed up on time in a decent looking van and decently dressed.  Good first impression!  The first thing they did after some introductions was lay out some tarps on the carpet.  They cut out the old faucets and got them replaced very quickly.  Both were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had.  I had some questions about our injector pump and Tony was happy to explain things to me.

Two bonuses:  First, Tony looks just a little like Al Borland on Home Improvement.  Seems to be as trustworthy too.  Second, no plumber's crack from either of them.  That is appreciated too!  : )

They do not take credit cards so keep that in mind.  A&D are now my go-to guys for any future plumbing needs.  I can't recommend them highly enough!

Courteous and prompt, I needed a faucet leak checked after an inspection on my home for sale in Bartlett. Scheduling was easy estimate was accurate and service was fast and thorough. Would recommend highly.

Was referred to a different plumber when I was called by the owner below my rental unit in Roselle about a leak. After that plumber came out (for a fee) to pinpoint what was going on, I received a ridiculously high quote on a toilet reset (which includes removing the toilet, replacing the wax ring, and putting the toilet back).

Off to Yelp I went to try to find a plumber with a good record and reasonable prices. So glad that I found A & D, who represented their experience well, had reasonable prices (their quote was $200 less than the other company), and who worked well with my tennant. I will definitely use A & D for any future plumbing needs and have already recommended them to friends in the area. Highly recommended!

Matt replaced a main water shut off valve at our house and was great. He showed up on time and his price was reasonable. We would definitely recommend him for any plumbing work.

A & D Total Plumbing first came to my home in May 2016.  
Here's my take for that visit:  
Had two plumbing issues (disposal didn't work: toilet didn't flush well).  Was somewhat hesitant to call a plumber because I had a dreadful experience years ago with a truly rotten company.  Saw the great Yelp! reviews and thought I'd take a chance with A & D Total Plumbing.  Am SO GLAD I did!  A & D not only met my expectations, but definitely exceeded them.
A & D made sure to keep me apprised as to when I could expect their arrival.  Brandon arrived exactly on time, and promptly got to work.  His appearance was of a consummate professional and I score contractors high on that (represents an I care attitude).  He put
protective covers on his shoes.  Immediately he had the disposal working (this to me means I've got the expertise).  The toilet took a bit more finessing on his part.  He did what he could, and explained in some detail the situation (represents I keep you informed as a customer and I really liked that, don't like mystery or customer won't understand approaches by contractors...just outline the situation for me!).  He offered a couple of options, and I appreciated that as well.  He completed the work promptly and completely.

The disposal finally gave out (it had a few years on it).  Brandon and Matt took care to install a new disposal.  My office contact, Debbie, gave me a courtesy call to let me know Brandon and Matt were on their way.
They were prompt, efficient and very pleasant to deal with.  My second impression was as good as the one I got when Brandon visited in May 2016.  

A & D Total Plumbing is professional and trustworthy company, very capable of meeting a homeowner's needs.  Wish I could give them six stars!

Great people, great work, very accommodating, reasonably priced.  I had a great experience with these guys and would definitely recommend them to family and friends and I will most definitely use them for any future plumbing.

Super nice guys, we've used them a few times for minor things, however one of our issues we asked them about (smelly basement) was said to be no big deal, and now months later we find out our sewer pipe has been broken, and were told that smell is a clear indication to that problem.

Matt installed a replacement garbage disposal for us a few weeks ago.  Great company to do business with.  They responded to my request promptly, gave me a fair price quote and scheduled an appointment to do the work.  Matt even took some extra time to fix a problem with a vanity faucet upstairs, and made the repair at no charge.  I really appreciate doing business with a guy that is doing everything right to build his business.

Excellent service and quality work.  They arrived on time and actual cost was slightly less than originally quoted estimate!

I contacted several companies (all with good Yelp reviews) to get quotes on a new water heater.  A & D was able to give me a quote over the phone, which was $200 less than the other two quotes for the exact same brand & size water heater.  

They showed up on schedule and were very friendly, even funny.  They put down canvas tarps from my front door all the way to the location in the basement where the work was to be performed.  Once finished, they explained how the new water heater works and what to expect.  I paid the quoted price, even though the installation required a new valve (which another company said would cost $67 extra).  Another reviewer mentioned this, but they only take cash & check for payment.  They'll remind you when you call them so you're aware.

Overall a positive experience and a price that was much better than the competition.  Definitely consider A&D if you're getting quotes for any plumbing work.

A&D was great to work with. We had a slow start with one of their guys getting sick but the offered me a discount and completed the work on the next visit with no issues. Very happy with the company.

These guys are awesome, sent them a message late Sunday night via the website and had a response shortly there after that they would call first thing in the morning and they did!  They were able to come out Tuesday morning, talked me through everything and gave me options.  They cut out the PVC pipe that was damaged and gave me some tips on what I could do as well.  They laid down blankets from the front door all the way to the crawl space.  Pricing was great and way lower than I had received quotes from others.  On top of all that they are really nice guys and easy to talk to, like having some of your buddies over and helping you fix your plumbing!  Would highly recommend them and if I ever need to will be calling them right away!

My wife were in a bind with our hot water heater going out on a Saturday.  Debbie responded almost immediately. They came out on Monday morning replaced the tank for us.  Matt was great.  Top notch, very friendly, conscious of protecting flooring and very informative.  Would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!!!

I called this company 3 times a day for 3 days straight and I received no response. I can be swimming in my basement and this plumbing company could not help. Do not waste your time!!!

I was looking for a Plumbing Service near the Bartlett area and decided to check the reviews on Yelp and discovered A & D. I was looking for a service minded, honest, professional Plumbing Service and was not disappointed. I Spoke with Debbie on the phone who took the time to actually listen and discuss my issue before scheduling an appointment, which was kept in a timely manner. The price was fair, Brandon the Service Tech. was courteous and offered to follow up with any issues if necessary. How refreshing, a service call without all the frustration and disappointment.

I had a kitchen drain pipe that was leaking and am unable to use my sink.  I called A&D based on these Yelp reviews.  They were very helpful & even told me what questions to ask other plumbers.  I had received other quotes & they even offered to go over my quote to make sure it was correct.  I needed the job done as soon as possible & unfortunately, A & D would not be able to get me in until a little over a week later.  I would love to use them!  If I ever have a plumbing need again, I will be calling them.  Thanks for your professionalism!

This company;s expertise, customer service, and prices are outstanding.

I called them due to an emergency leak, along with another company in the area.  The other company happened to call back first (5 minutes sooner) so I went with them.  When I told A&D my decision and why, the gal on the phone told me what the approximate charge should be and wishes us well - no pressure and very friendly.

When the other company came out their estimate was 300% over A&D's - felt like they felt they had us trapped and were taking advantage.  I called back A&D (kept the water turned off) and they came out the next day and charged as they quoted - also did some estimates on other considerations for some of our old plumbing and took the time to explain each recommendation to us.

We'll use this company for all our future plumbing needs and gladly pass their cards to our neighbors.

Excellent work. Clean professional and courteous.  Explained what needed to be done in terms I could understand and explained all alternatives.  I received cost estimates for each alternative and pros and cons for each.  This was actually a pleasant plumber visit. I had received a prior quote from another company which was 150% more.   They cleaned up extremely well. I would highly recommend you contact them for your next need.  They are also diversified and off additional home services. Such as water heater service and humidifier services.

What a welcome relief to find a reliable plumber with reasonable prices.  Tony and Brandon came right on time and took care to lay out tarp from the doorway to my kitchen sink.   They quickly and courteously addressed my initial plumbing problem and I then had them fix a nuisance problem with my outside spigot.  They also took time to explain, in detail, all the questions I had about our basement plumbing, i.e. ejector pump, sump pump, etc.  I am very pleased with their work and fair prices.  It's clear that they are committed to building long-term relationships with their customers  and I am confident I will be one of them!
