What a wonderful experience with Campbell Electric after a problematic event of a bad breaker!
Malcomb and his crew, including his competent office gal, Christina, stayed on top of our situation, worked in a timely and clean manner, and got the job done with professional speed.  With the stresses of shoes dropping with home ownership and bad vendors too often, I was grateful for a competent company that did the job with exceeding expectations.  Thank you.

There are electricians and there are miracle workers. I purchased a Ring video doorbell and needed it installed quickly due to package thefts. I called Campbell Electric Service and an electrician came out the same day. They property installed it,  hardwired it to my existing doorbell system and also did some needed electrical repairs. I appreciate the fact that everything is working amazingly perfect and they now have a loyal customer.

I purchased a new ceiling fan last night for my bedroom and realized that I needed a professional (long story). I contacted this company well after business hours and they responded anyway. Al came bright and early today and installed my new fan. Al was punctual, professional, and accurately completed the task within an hour.  I will definitely use his services again in the future. Called them and they were here the next day! The gentleman was masked and explained exactly what he was doing. Happy to have light again!

Needed an electrician to figure out lighting in one of my bedrooms. Found them on Yelp and they responded quickly when I inquired. Prompt, polite & professional. Got the job done quickly, I definitely recommend Campbell Electrical Service.

Al was very professional, wore a mask the entire time. He installed a new outlet in my kitchen for a over the range microwave oven.  I'm very pleased with his workmanship.

I called Wade regarding some electrical issues he came out the next morning. He was very prompt and explained what he was doing. His prices were reasonable withstand the work I needed, new switch and an updated GIF box in my bathroom and I am pleased with his work. I will be calling him in the future when I need more electrical work on my home.

A rainstorm rolled through and left me with no power in half of my house. After calling a couple of different electricians and getting no response, I put a call in to Campbell Electric and Mr Wade said he could be there within an hour.
He arrived and got to work and quickly determined that the issue was with the main line to the pole and not with our panel which was a big relief. I hope to never have an electrical issue, however, I won't hesitate to give Campbell my business in the future.

When we bought our house, it came with a duel-fuel range. Recently, the oven broke and it was expensive enough to repair that it made sense to just buy a new range. Fast-forward four weeks and we got our new induction range today. As soon as it was plugged in there was a spark and the breaker tripped. The installers said the unit was not likely to blame and that we should call an electrician.

I called Campbell Electric, and the gentleman on the phone asked some questions to make sure he understood our problem. He explained that it sounded like a faulty unit, as a way of helping me save money. I asked for someone to come out anyway because 1) I would need proof it wasn't my system; and 2) we've found other ... weird stuff in this house, so if the wiring was bad I wouldn't have been too surprised.

They had someone in my area and at my door within 30 minutes. After examining stuff, it turns out that the outlet HAD been wired incorrectly!  I guess the flippers had then just wired the old range to match?

Anyway, I was impressed by how they tried to save me some money; how they were able to get me help quickly; and how they friendly and explained what they were doing and finding as they went.

Al was great. Very helpful. He went out of his way to fix my smoke alarm that had been beeping all night long, driving my kid and dog crazy. He understood my angst and came same day that I called. Also went to Home Depot to pick up a replacement. Thank so much you Al!!

Yelp'ers, Here we go. I reviewed all possible Electrician candidates & decided from the 5 Star reviews to hire services from Campbell Electric. Well first off Mr. Wade gives a very prompt appointment & came over the next day right away & very early 8:00 AM. Excellent I like early risers. Up front the service FEE including work is $125 an hour when the appointment is made. Mr. Wade was a very nice middle aged gentleman, who was a very knowledgeable in
his skilled profession. I had 2 very old bells replaced with new Victorian designs.

Also an old lighting unit with a pull chain. The lighting unit was prewar as Mr. Wade stated. He taught me a 2 valuable lessons. This family home is over 100 years old. Years ago this home ran on gas. Up in the lighting unit is a structure which was connected to this gas unit, which was converted but parts were left. I had previously purchased a chandelier one year ago & never had it installed. Mr. Wade could not install the new unit. He suggested a plumber inspect & remove the above ceiling gas unit, before he could install any new system. Also to never buy online lighting without knowing what is in the ceiling unit. This is only for very old homes. So the prewar unit was replaced with an updated similar model with the florescence large round bulb.  

Mr. Wade had 2 leave & go 2 the warehouse & purchase this item for $ 25 & the bulb. I really tried 2 update an older system & it did not work out. In the long run it will be very costly. The chandelier is medium but very beautiful. Extremely too late for a return & refund. I waited 2
long in finding a very good electrician. Overall the conversation & service was great.
My price was $ 275 & I gave a $15 tip. Oh well you live & learn. Thank you so much Yelp,

Timely, efficient, and affordable. From the initial estimate to the finished job Wade knew what he was doing and my wife and I couldn't be happier with the results.

We had an issue with half the house losing power. Peco wasn't being very helpful. I called Campbell Electric and they care out within the hour, found the issue, and took care of it. Wade was timely, thorough, and helpful. I highly recommend these guys. Will be using them again the next time we need electrical repair work.

I hardly ever post reviews but the service from Wade was so great that I am going to put aside the lazy part of me. Wade answered my inquiry within a hour and set up an appointment for the next day. My doorbell was not working and he was able to diagnose the issue on the spot, where I had multiple inspectors and contractors unable to figure it out before him. His prices are also very reasonable and to top it off, he's a great guy!

I called wade the afternoon before my service day and Wade was there the next morning. He was prompt and professional. I needed a new thermostat line ran as I was told by a heating professional. I explained what was going on with my tenants thermostat, she was unable to control her heat as there was a break in the wiring any where from the 2nd floor to the basement. Wade surveyed the each floor to find where the issue was and to see if a new wire needed to be ran and/or if the break in the line was in the wall or not)....long story short Wade saved me $100 as he found out no new wiring was needed he would just repair the existing wiring as it was not broken in the wall, he also properly secure the wiring to avoid any future issues. My tenant was able to control their heat that same day with no issues. Thanks Wade for you electrical expertise and customer service! I will definitely recommend Wade for electrical services and will be using him in the future.

I made a cold call to this company because my HVAC unit for my small business broke down on the coldest day of the year so far.  Their Yelp reviews were very high so I naturally thought they would be really knowledgeable and likely helpful.  However, the man who answered the phone showed me otherwise.  Not only was he incredibly rude (he turned my words around to suggest I was telling him what to charge - a real wait . . . what???!? kind of moment) but then he dismissively told me he couldn't help me.  Though at the end of the call, he wanted to redeem himself by offering to suggest other companies I could call, the damage was already done.  
I work in the customer service industry and it doesn't take much to be kind or at the very least, professional.  This man, who is serving as the company's representative, was neither.  If you do have an electrical issue, maybe it might be best to reach out to other companies before calling here.  As you may notice from my profile, I don't write many reviews - for good or bad experiences.  But I took time to write this review so that someone else wouldn't have to deal with this kind of exceptionally bad service.   There are way too many other companies who are capable of being nice, even if they're unable to help.

Very happy with the service that Wade provided. When the doorbell system at our building went out, I called them up and set up an appointment. They showed up as promised, got to the bottom of the problem, and got us up and running again! 5 Stars.

Called late afternoon about a ceiling fixture that had stopped working at my daughter's house. Call was answered by Mr. Campbell and appointment made for first thing the next morning. He called to say he was on the way, arrived as promised and fixed the problem (faulty fixture). Recommend!

No call is too small for Campbell Electric Service. A working doorbell is a must in any home.  Wade, answered right away and set up an appointment for me super fast. He is very professional ,knows what he is doing, and arrived on time. I appreciated Wade taking the time to explain what caused the malfunction and how he was repairing it. He gave me a follow up text to make sure everything was ok which was awesome! If your looking for a electrician I would highly recommend him.

Wonderful in every way. I've been happy with the services of Mr. Campbell (never asked for his first name) for years. I manage my 4-unit co-op in Brooklyn, and whenever we've had a problem with the intercom, hallway lights, modernizing outlets, etc., he runs right over and fixes it quickly and at a reasonable price. He has also installed fans and fixtures in my own apartment. Even on Saturdays, he always seems to be in the area and can come over for emergencies, sort of like an electrician superhero.
