Best Electricians in United States
I can't recommend Higher Power Electric enough! I had a fan light repaired, a new kitchen light installed, a new dining room light installed and a few other flush mount lights installed. They also removed a old satellite dish for me. They were quick, but thorough! The quoting and scheduling process went very smoothly. I received a reminder call the day before, as well as a call on the day of my appointment letting me know they were on their way. Everyone I dealt with were very nice and professional!

Jim continues to be our go to electrician for any electrical needs at our residence. He is reliable, very personable and will go the extra mile to ensure our needs are met. We strongly recommend James Hartley Electric for your residential electric needs.

New to the area, I read the review already online for Excel and called. My call was returned promptly, he called to let us know he would run a bit late so we felt assured, and a really no-fuss, no drama, tidy job at a fair price all made this service a gem. I have added Excel to my contacts list and will share with confidence. A star!

Just wanted to say how pleased we were with this company. We try to use local businesses for services and we definitely were impressed with this family owned business. They responded quickly and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Very pleased.

Quite possibly the nicest people I have ever met. Our heat went out on Wednesday and we made the mistake of calling another repairman first. After waiting a few days for a response we finally called Riley Electrical Services. We only wish we would have called them first. They were at our house within an hour of our call and set to work fixing the mistakes that the other repairman made. We ended up needing a new furnace and they helped us make a decision that we felt comfortable with, that also didn't break our bank. While we were waiting for our replacement furnace we were called twice in the morning just so he could check up on how we were holding up with no heat. He came today and installed our furnace and we couldn't be happier. If you need any work done, don't call anyone else (trust us!) call Riley Electrical Services, you won't be disappointed!

Necessary precursor for COVID: he arrived in a mask, no hugging, no handshakes, super professional.
Also, brought a change of shoes, which was nice, even though my house looks like a bomb went off in it anyways.
I posted through Yelp looking for someone to install an outlet to replace a range in my kitchen. I had a few people reach out, and I reached outside of Yelp as well (which was a failure) - but Jason hit me up right away, had a scheduled time ready to come over and check out what I needed. I *assumed* it'd be a quick once over of the project, an estimate, and I'd continue my hunt when I don't get a call back.
Instead, he was ready to go when he showed up - he saw the work that needed done, gave me an estimate for time + parts and hammered it out FAST (including running out to pick up a couple parts). So before he left, I had one OTHER immediate electrical project I needed - I attempted to fix my ceiling fan light and it no longer worked - he found it was a faulty socket (something I didn't know to check!) and tightened my wire work, and had it hammered out as well!
Plain and simple - Jason was in and out, and knocked two items that have been weighing on me since the new year.
I'm incredibly happy with his professionalism, friendliness, speed of service, and communication!

I had a house fire last month. Everyone is safe, but the house is going to need a lot of work. We had an electrician from Efficient come out to restore power to a basement outlet so I could run my irrigation system. On May 26th he said not only did he get the outlet powered, he resorted power to the house for the contractors to use for their power tools while rebuilding the house. I went to the house on 5/27 to plug in my irrigation system and there was no power. I turned on lights throughout the house and still no power. I plugged items in outlets throughout the house and there wasn't power. So I called and complained. The electrician's supervisor told me that he did restore power the the whole house and the outlet for my irrigation system. So now I'm very upset. I went to the burned house with a lamp, blender, and iPhone with charger. I made a video of myself plugging everything into the outlet he said had power and plugged the items into outlets throughout the house to PROVE there was no power!!! I decided to get another electrician. The new guy from a different company restored power to the outlet and showed me that the guy from Efficient DIDNT do what he told his supervisor over and over that he did! Every single wire in the fuse box was dangling and none of the wires were labeled. I do not recommend this company at all! They totally lied to everyone involved.

Have used this company several times for plumbing and roofing. Extremely fast response, exemplary service, very fair pricing and great quality of work. I can't recommend them highly enough. My mom is in her mid 90's and lives alone with no family within hours of her. Bill Goodknight has gotten someone to her emergency in hours.

We have used May Electric multiple times since we moved into our house. John the owner goes above and beyond for his customers. He is easy to get a hold of and his prices are completely fair. I have also met at least 3 of his employees and they are kind and hard working. This company actually cares about its customers and it shows in their work.
The first project May Electric did was dig a trench in our backyard to run electric from our house to our detached garage. They installed two outlets, one light switch, and a fluorescent outdoor light. I was so thrilled with how everything was done that day.
I then had May Electric install an outdoor outlet on the back of our house. I even requested one that had 4 outlet specifically. I guess they do not typically have those on hand. So they made sure they had one on hand when they did the job. I am so happy with my special request and how it looks / functions.
Inside the house they have fixed an outlet that was not getting electricity to it and a light fixture that was not getting electricity to it. And yes, we live in an old house. I have found it necessary to have a good electrician that we can call. John and May Electric are just that. They are reliable, fair priced, efficient, and knowledgeable.
In fact just the other day when it was 12* outside, our electricity went out in our house and it was not on AEP's end. We reached out to John and within hours he sent Eric to check it out. He didn't want us to go through the night with no electricity. That is the kind of amazing service and compassion John has for his customers.
We would be lost without John and May Electric. If you are looking for a trust worthy and reliable electrician please consider giving John a call or a text.

Had called several other companies without an answer. They called back within 15 minutes and were at my home a few hours later. Very professional and the pricing was definitely fair. They were done within 30 minutes and I couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience.

Had a great experience with Mr. Electric. I called and they came out within the hour. IVAN RAY-COE was our technician and he was fast and fair-priced. Would use them again!

don't waste your time. owner shows up unannounce. got him from home warranty company. slow, slow, and slow. Too busy trying to get more work from you instead of fixing the issues. touching stuff around the house. creepy

I rarely leave bad reviews but stay away from these guys. The work they did was good but now they're trying to double charge me for some of the work. Paid for part of the work the day of service and they refuse to subtract that from the invoice after being provided with receipts several times. Its been four months since the service, two months since receiving the incorrect invoice, and no response from Lee, the only person that can edit the invoices. They've even gone so far as to ignore my phone calls. Very unprofessional and difficult to work with.

BEWARE! charged for sending interns in a program and not an electrician. The original appointment time was right after lunch, and 3 different names were sent as technician names before showing up at 3pm after I initiated correspondence to find appointment time. Those 2 young men had no clue and tested one plug for $25. They are a joke

We called these guys out to install two light switches for a small bathroom (in the same box) and to install a vent fan. When we asked Wayne, in their service department, to have someone come out and give us a quote he told us that the job was too small and that he just wanted to come out and do the work.
When their service guy came out we told him that we wanted a quote and he quoted us around $300 to do the work. Well, they ran the 20' of wire and installed the switches but did not install the vent fan because we didn't have it in yet. The work looked fine but I received a bill for almost double what they quoted me! They charged me an extra hour for two men to go to Home Depot to get a part that they didn't have. I would have assumed this was in the estimate since the walls were open and you could see everything.
After complaining to Wayne for the bust in the quote, he only split the difference with me between the quote and the charged price that was double the quote. When I asked him about their website claiming guaranteed estimates, he said that they had to be in person and not phone quotes. Ours was an in person quote!
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. A quote is a quote! They did half the work and still charged me almost double the estimate.
