The guy showed up 40 mins late, looked at the drain cleaning bathtub (did not touch anything) and said the coupon they lured us in with wouldn't apply. It would be $190 for drain cleaning. We said no and after waiting for 4 hours, the appointment was done in 5 mins.
The guy already came in with his mind made up not to do the job.
Do not trust their coupons, it's a scam!

I had the pleasure of getting the senior technician Pablo J yesterday.

He helped us diagnose the issue immediately and is in contact with the homeowner on how to get the damage fixed underneath the house.

He was very attentive, hard-working, and his co technician, I didn't catch his name was very attentive and understanding throughout the whole process.

I highlight recommend Elite Rooter and want to give their technicians credit where it is due.

TL;DR I suggest avoiding Elite Rooter due to a bad experience. Elite Rooter is a big company. The owners are not reachable when there are problems and the division manager was deflective when given constructive feedback. They quoted low pricing, but when the crew arrived they seemed inexperienced and appeared to be pushing more expensive services. They left things worse than they started.

My kitchen sink was draining slowly and would eventually clog after water was running for 3 minutes or so. The clog would resolve itself but the slow drain/clogged drain cycle persisted. I tried drain cleaner to no avail, so I hopped on Yelp and requested quotes for a plumber to come out. The Yelp system is an efficient way to get quotes and arrange services and Elite Rooter popped up within a few minutes of my request with a quote.

Elite Rooter's quote was $69 to snake a drain with cleanout access. They took my address and phone number then set an appointment to come between 8AM and 10AM the following day. So far so good.

The next day 10AM came and went, so I hopped onto Yelp messaging at 10:30 to ask where they were. No reply at all. So I found their phone number and called, reaching a call center. The operator put me on hold and contacted a dispatcher, then came back on the line and said the dispatcher was in touch with the crew and they were busy on another job and would come to me next, but could not provide an ETA. At noon I received a call from the Senior Technician on the crew saying they would arrive in 30 minutes. They did.

I opened my garage and showed the crew the location of my cleanout access. I explained what I knew about the property based on feedback from other home owners in my HOA, that for the kitchen clogs snaking the drain from the garage (sewer) side of the cleanout was best. They dismissed my advice and asked to see the kitchen. Immediately they said they would need to remove the p-trap from my sink and snake from upstairs at a cost of $129.

I recommended again that they consider going through the garage cleanout because all the other home owners in my HOA had good results this way. They took a small water pump pliers and tried to open the plug, but it was corroded shut. They didn't even try a pipe wrench for more leverage, penetrating oil or anything else. They were just convinced they could push the clog out from the top. So they started there.

While they were upstairs trying to clear the drain, I sprayed WD-40 on the cleanout plug in the garage and took a wire brush to it. I got it open.

Their snake got stuck in the line, so they backed it out and called in a specialist to look. He walked in, didn't look at anything and said that they couldn't snake the drain, they would need to hydro-jet the system at a cost of $1100 after discount. Because the pipes in question are in a wall shared with my neighbor in this townhome I did not want to send high pressure through pipes risking a burst line, so it was time to stop with Elite Rooter. I declined this service and asked them to put my sink back together.

They finished up, ran the water for a few seconds and said it was the same as before. They left, charging me the quoted rate of $69 plus tax. Only after they left did I realize that the drain was now completely clogged. It would not drain at all. Further, when my wife took a shower that evening the water from her shower backed up into the kitchen sink. So they left things worse than they found them. In addition, when I went under the sink to empty the trash I found water pooled. They hadn't even tightened the p-trap on the drain.

So here I am, standing water in the kitchen, upstairs shower and toilet backed up into the sink. These are not problems I had before calling Elite Rooter. I called another plumber in to fix the issue.

However, I did want to give the owner some feedback on my experience. I tried to call the owner and was referred to a district manager. I left a message for him. He called back and said he didn't run that side of the business and instead another manager would call me. Instead the crew called and wanted to come back. I explained I already hired another plumber. I called the district manager back and said I wanted to provide feedback. He cut me off and said they would just refund my money and hung up. I didn't want a refund! I wanted to give feedback.

I left the names out of this. I'm not here to make it personal. If the owner wants to reach out and get the names of the individuals I was dealing with and receive some feedback I would be happy to provide it.

I do not recommend Elite Rooter. They are too big and impersonal. Plumbing issues can be full of surprises and unpredictable outcomes. You need a professional who is committed to finding a solution, not maximizing their revenue goal, and a path for providing feedback about the quality of service. Elite Rooter does not meet these basic criteria.

My impression of Elite Rooter: Too expensive and not reliable.

My toilet was not flushing properly. Saw an attractive advertisement in the newspaper - Elite Rooter Drain or It's Free $69. So I called Elite Rooter. They came out the next day. The young fellow was pleasant. Using a screw device he found some roots close to the toilet base. He said he would remove the toilet, which would cost about $380. He was unclear about whether the pipes have been damaged by the roots and he did not know the total cost of the repair.

It was supper time. I was tired and hungry. So the fellow said he would have a supervisor/expert call me in the morning to explain more clearly and quote a price for repair. That person did not call me the next morning nor any of the following days. The original junior fellow did call me the next day but he did not recall what he told me the prior day, so I reminded him to have the expert/supervisor call.

So I gave up on Elite Rooter. Called another plumbing business which removed the toilet, cut out the roots and charged me about $200 which was a LOT less than what Elite Rooter intended to charge me.

Our shower was draining slowly so I called Elite rooter to clear the problem. The plumber that came out tried to snake the drain but was unsuccessful. After going into the crawl space and examining, the plumber said that the drain pipe was rusted shut and needed to be replaced, and I was given a $3500 quote.

We called another plumber to get a second opinion, and they were able to snake the drain relatively quickly, and said that the previous company (Elite Rooter) was either trying to scam me, or that the plumber simply didn't try very hard.

Whatever the case, I do not recommend elite rooter.

I had Elite Rooter come out in December and they replaced the entire sewer system in my home. I asked Gabriel if it was covered by HomeServe insurance. He said no, they are a contractor for HomeServe and the replacement of the system is not a covered service. So, I paid them $26,000 to replace the sewer system in my home. I later contacted HomeServe and the service was covered and Elite Rooter was not a contractor for them. I have been requesting a itemized statement from Elite for the service provided for months and can't get a returned call or the statement I need to get reimbursed by my insurance. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, once they got their money!

The answered our call promptly and professionally, and then they sent someone within 2 hours!

Carlos called upon arrival to let us know he was outside our garage. We had him come up, showed him the issue and told him what we were told should be done. Before taking doing anything, he decided to check the garage for a clean out. He found one, and he tested it. The drain blockage was not there, so he troubleshooted some more, and he found the best method to clear our issue. He was hard at work, and my husband felt for him, so he helped him dump water and clear the buckets, etc.

In the end, he fixed our issue, and he said if we have any issues to call him directly. Super nice guy and really prompt and professional. I like that he tried to find alternative routes that were less invasive first. What more could you ask for?

I've saved their # in my contacts for any future plumbing issues.

I usually don't review companies, but this company is exception. Stay away from this company. I scheduled appointment for noon and took my day off from my work. They called me later telling that crew will arrive between 2 and 3. Then they promised to come at 4 and then informed about arrival between 6 and 7. Then another technician called me at 5 pm telling that they can come and service will cost about $380 and there is 50% chance they will fix it! (How they could know it before coming? Three other companies told me they will fix it for $200-250). This company does not value your time at all. Not sure how they got good reviews here. We were using their services at my company (that is why I was thinking they are reliable). I don't think my company will use their services too anymore. Hopefully it will help owners to understand problems and future clients to make their right choice. I chose another company and very happy with my choice.

A sister of mine found this company and called them for a problem at my parents house with a backup in the kitchen and one bathroom. However, it's been the beginning of a nightmare! No joke.

While the employees are responsive and make you feel like they know what they're doing, they really make repairs that don't last, and obviously not done correctly. The quote was reasonable however, not even 1 year later we've had many issues since the fixes. Basically, we were advised to redo all the work this company did. (The main line underneath the house and redo all the plumbing this company replaced). I feel they took advantage of our trust. The main line that was replaced has since collapsed and causing so many back up issues. It was not anchored properly! And the rest of the plumbing was not done so great. It was BAD work. I trust this new information as it's our family plumber for many years.

If you have another company referral - go to them!!!! And avoid this company or any kind of quick rooter companies. They may talk nice and give reasonable quotes but you're wasting your time and money!

It's so unfortunate I have to do this. But I'm trying to help the community with my honest review. This company does not repair for the long term, and really doesn't do honest, good work. STAY AWAY.

Hey Erick Z and Gabe R. are my go-to's here at Elite Rooter!

My main sewer line was clogged pretty bad so I called another rooter company and they did not fix the issue at hand and quoted me $$$$ thousands to do the job that turns out wouldn't have fixed that problem at all. I turned to Yelp to find bids via the project tool and Elite was one of the first to respond to me.

Erick came by and had superb customer service and was trying his best to keep the cost down especially since my house being on slab foundation and all. He took the time to fully assess the situation and came up with multiple solutions in hopes of finding the answer that best fit my home's needs.

After we tried everything we had to go the hard route and run camera to see the issue at hand. That's when Gabe came on site he was able to walk me through the best and worst case scenarios. I opted for the hydroflush since it was still cheaper and less invasive to my home in comparison to what the other company proposed.

Took about 4 hours of work on their part but in the end the pipes were cleared and we ran a camera down it again to make sure everything was good to go. I definitely would reach out again to Elite Rooter! I would hold them to the high standard that Erick and Gabe set as that's what I'm looking for in a vendor!

Called them on drain cleaning special $79, After working maybe 15min with the snake they give up and mention it might be soil or whatever and tech says the cable might tangled there and make things worse.
However i still get charged even though its still clogged and they advise to do hydrojet cleaning at cost $1200

Im then calling handyman, he put bladder with garden hose, and in a matter maybe less than 5min the line is clear, the bladder itself only cost less than $20 which you can get from harbor freight or home depot.

It just make me wonder how does big company like this not able to figure out the issue, and a handyman can simply fix the issue with a very simple tool

I'm forced to put a star on this in order for Yelp to be able to publish my review.

I engaged Elite Rooter on 10/2/22 to fix a blockage in my septic system pipes and to install new pumps and a new sewage ejection control panel. I told the supervisor that I would buy their control panel, but asked if I could provide the pumps from my contact at Northern Tool. They agreed.

They proceeded to charge me $6,000 for two guys to dig out a six-foot hole to replace a worn clean-out (took one guy one day), $3,000 to replace a T-Section of PVC pipe (took one guy a day) and then quoted me $1,500 to install my two new pumps and another $1,750 to install the control panel.

Look, I know we're in the middle of the highest inflationary rates for the last 20 years, but this was usurious. An incredible markup of expenses. And then, just before they were to come out, Dion says that it turns out they cannot do the job becasue the pumps I bought weren't from Elite's parts supplier. Excuse me- I have it in writing that Elite accepted my Northern Tool pumps to be used in this job. They were much better pumps than what Elite quoted me, with a 55' head, as opposed to their pumps, which only had a 25 ' foot head (not enough to push sewage over the 30' hill I have. That was the last straw. Dion lied to my face!

I complained to the supervisor Dion. He sent my request to the District Manager Grayson to complete this job. I heard nothing. And then I called Grayson. I was only able to leave a message and none of my calls were returned.

Here's what I'm left with. A job half done and a company who has abandoned their responsibility. My septic system is currently overflowing into the drain pipe that goes into my backyard! This has been left undone for 30 days now!

Talk about a health hazard!!!! My next call will be to the health department.
Then, as I'm an attorney, you know what they say- See you in court.

Don't waste your time - I'd suggest using another company like I will be doing! -- Update: Owner reached out hours after my 1-star review saying he'll follow up the next morning. Called in response to $69 ad for drain rooting, they got here and because it was an older house, there was no cleanout near the house - it was near the driveway. So they instead went on the roof and ran the snake from there. Then I was told that they need to run the camera to figure out where the blockage was.

I was charged $179 for that - but they didnt share the pictures. Plus quoted me $38xx to cut out part of the pipe and install a cleanout.

Turns out the location where they mentioned the blockage was - wasnt right - not even close. I hired a plumber to get the pipe replaced and clean out installed for less than half of what Elite quoted.

However the blockage wasnt gone - so called Elite again. This time they ran the snake without the tip from the new cleanout. They hit the blockage but didnt want to use a tip. The excuse I got was I dont want to break my cable or tip - there maybe roots. Instead they wanted to run the camera again and charge me $269 for it, which again would not fix the issue.

I decided against it. Today hired another rooter company - they came up. Took 20 mins to run the snake with the tip and unclogged the sewer pipe.

To me it seems the folks from Elite that I was dealing with (wont name names) were trying to just upsell services that werent needed and would not use basic tools to fix the problem. The $69 ad is just a ruse to get people to call them and then they sell/do things which will make people pay way more.

Stay away from them and find a better service provider!

I didn't read all these reviews before calling Elite Rooter. Exactly same thing happened for me when my bathroom shower was draining slowly. Inexperienced plumber came with no knowledge on how to snake the drain and said he need to call his senior technician. And after sometime senior technician came and tried the snake for few mins and said we need to do hydro flush which cost $1300.

After that I called few plumber and inquired and got one next day they cleared the clog with snake. Works fine.

My rental was backed up. I needed help fast. I called elite router they gave me a time and came out earlier than the time they gave me. The drain was cleared but it wasn't easy. Ray Ibanez was my technician. Friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend elite to anybody that needs it.

I reached out on Yelp and they were quickly responsive, offering three different time slots for the technician to come out on the same day for a free estimate. Eric did the initial assessment and worked with the snake to unclog the sink. I have an old complicated house and the snake wasn't working so he called in a specialist, Gabe. Have assessed the situation and have some other options along with the quote. We chose one option and they called in another guy with special equipment, then we changed our mind, and they just rolled with the punches. Eric and Gabe are seriously the most professional guys I have ever interacted with. Their customer service was amazing and the communication was great throughout the entire process. Would definitely recommend.

Wife was sitting on the sofa and noticed a water spot on the ceiling, 12 feet above the ground. Got on a ladder, leaned over, touching the spot, leaving my fingerprint impression in the ceiling. Bad news: spot was wet.

Turned off the water to the toilet on the second floor above the ceiling water spot, and put out bids on Yelp, stating that we had a water leak likely requiring the removal of the toilet, and fixing of the pipes.

One person estimated $320, but others say no estimate until they come out, with various charges of $88-$240 onwards just to come out. This is not your standard water heater leak or backed up sewer pipe clog.

Pablo and Giovanni come on out, both wearing masks. First time met a Hispanic named Giovanni. They put a small hole in the ceiling 12 feet above the floor, sticking a camera inside. Flush the toilet, and sure enough water showering the inside of the ceiling.

Pablo explains that the leak is from the toilet flange and connection, requiring removal of the toilet, replacement of the flange and new pipe connection. Giovanni works out an estimate, based on the difficulty of the task.

Work starts once terms agreed to. Drop cloths over the drilling area underneath. He chips and power saws away at the grout attaching the toilet to the uneven tile floor. Don't want to damage the toilet, nor the tiles. Opens up the ceiling using a power saw to cut a 17 inch square hole in the ceiling, while standing on an 18 foot extension ladder.

The ceiling panel and wooden beams have a light surface of black mold on them. Clean and dry the insides of the ceiling area under the toilet. Leaves it there to dry overnight.

Turns out won't have to replace any of the lengthy plastic PCV pipes, only the specialized connection, without having to saw through the wooden beams in the floor, as compiled in the original estimate.

Comes back a second day with Jorges, who work together to remove and replace the rotting wooden toilet flange, rubber inner seal, and pipe connection. Heavy duty rubber and steel new toilet flange. They flush the toilet a half dozen times, and watch the new connections. No leaks. Complete clean up hauling away all construction debris.

Will get back to me with a contact for a friend who does drywall and ceiling plaster work to fix that 17 inch square hole in the middle of my living room ceiling, 12 feet off the floor. Pay with credit card, thinking how a $320 estimate job from one company ended up being a $3500 hole in the ceiling!

At least it wasn't as expensive as the Elite Rooter 3 day job replacing 70 feet of tree root congested sewer line and the entire drainage system under my rental house in March, which ran $18,069!

Tried to hire them via ThumbTack and they were super responsive. Scheduled an appointment and they never showed and never contacted me about it. When I contacted them, they apologized and said there was an emergency repair to handle. I assumed positive intent and rescheduled 2 days later. Same thing happened. No show, no call. Nothing.

Reached out for a quote and they proceeded with their process to get a person out the next day. Thought that was great. Selected a time my wife could be there. They gave me a window time of 2pm to 4pm. Received a missed call from them but he left me a voice mail and said they could be there at 330pm. I call the guy back at 335pm and he said that he needed to go to a more urgent call as they want to help get that family back up and running. He said that they messed up the schedule and that they could send someone out the next day. Funny they had the whole day to tell me this but with only 30inutes left of my window they say something now. Very unprofessional. Haven't received a call to apologize or to reschedule.

My kitchen sink was backed up. Erick came out to clear it but the clog was further down the line than his equipment could reach. Turns out there was no clean out so they had to come back and find access to the pipe in the garage through a wall, install a clean out and do a combo of water jet and rooting. Touch and go but Erick finally managed to clear out the blockage. The job wasn't cheap but they explained everything clearly and did the job professionally. Erick was very diligent and courteous.

We had tiles slowly sinking, so we removed them to level them again. This is when we found those huge holes underneath... We thought we had a leak with the main water pipe close by so we contacted Elite Rooter. We scheduled an appointment and Armando showed up on time. We found out that our pipe from the '70 was probably leaking from the meter, the house connection, and probably multiple places in between...We also learned that the main shutoff valve wasn't working. At the end, it was cheaper and more efficient to cutoff the old pipe and build a new copper one. They got to work right away and it took 2.5 days. Armando was very professional, communicative, and very well organized. Calling with ETA every day, letting me know whenever he was leaving for lunch or to pick up the parts needed. He answered all my questions in detail. After they were done, our front yard looked like nothing happened!

I used elite rooter for the first time. They were unable to complete the job. They did use two different snakes to try and unclog my main sewer line. The first tools they used didn't look like they have the right cutter on the end of the snake. What a waist of 80 dollars. We rented a machine for two hours bought warranty coverage for machine and only spent 64 dollars to do it our self. The lines are now clear ! And we are able to take a shower, flush the toilet and run water in our home. Elite wanted to charge $398.00 dollars for a camera and $1,200.00 for a hydro water pressure. To think we cleared the issue for only $64.00 dollars! We won't be using this company again! Lesson learned!

Bathroom Plumbing Issues:

We gave Elite Rooter a call for a non-emergency issue with our plumbing in the restroom. Promptly set up an appointment and Gabe Robles showed up to our house on time and was very professional. It was raining that morning so he took proper precautions as well to make are our carpets didn't get dirty!

After a quick assessment of the situation, he told me what the issue was, fixed the problem and left just as quickly as he came. I've never seen a plumber listen to an issue, assess the situation and handle it so quickly; talk about knowing his stuff!

I'm planning on installing a new water line as well connecting our home to the city supply and he walked me through what that would look like, how his team would do it and offered advice on how I should go about planning that part out too.

For a safe, honest, reliable and timely team, I'd highly recommend Gabe and his team for all your plumbing needs in the South Bay.

My mom called them to tell us they couldn't unclog our kitchen sink my mom asked them to try through the outside because that his how someone unclogged it last time, he didn't even budge, he said a power pressure would need to be used that costs, 1200 dollars what joke, so my son is coming over today rented a snake from home depot and will get it done, he works two jobs you think paying a professional to try and unclog it? won't be calling them again!

Warning！！！ this is a SCAM company. How did I find that they were deceiving. He told me that He tried sticking the wire down 50 feet through the water pipe but it didn't work. I have repeatedly confirmed with him whether he'd connected the water pipe back and tested it with water. Whether there was a success, he said yes. I asked him to prove it to me, because there was no water coming through the tap, which proves that he is lying.

The next day, I found another plumber, and the problem was quickly resolved.

I am very disappointed with this company. Be careful not to be fooled.

Elite Rooter caused damage to a new brick paver walkway that they had no concern to protect from the weight of their 7000 lb exicator, the cost and work to repair the walkway was $1,200. Elite did acknowledged that the damage was caused by their negligent crew, and told me that the check was in the mail, however now over 2.5 months always the same excuse.

I will be filing a small claim in Denver Court and people please listen to all the the negative reviews here, and, see the complaints on the bbb.org!

DO NOT USE THIS DISGRACEFUL COMPANY.... YOU WILL REGRET IT!

My suggestions:
- Use the flat rate price for normal clog issues; but if the technician is suggesting something else and provide a quote. Think twice and quote from other companies, you will likely get a way better deal!

Background:
I used their service twice; one for a normal clog; and another one ended up with 1.2K cost and yet the clog problem is not fixed!

For the normal clog service, a technician came and tried to fix the problem. He failed to unclog my kitchen, which should be pretty easy for a plumbing professional. Then he got a phone call and told me that there is an emergency for him to handle. Clearly, the emergency is more beefy than my simple clog case (which is flat rate). He came the second day and fixed the problem. The technician asked me to leave a review. You know! This is how the company got a 4-star review! That is, asking more people to write a review if they're confident about their flat rate service. I didn't write a review at that time because I was not happy about 1) the unprofessionalness of the technician, and 2) how the technician handled my case. But that's it. I didn't give them a negative review.

The second service from them led me to decide to provide them this review. Hopefully other customers can learn from my experience, and try to avoid similar experiences from this and other similar companies.

My tenant's bathtub was stuck. So I quoted on Yelp from multiple service providers. Unfortunately Elite Rooter was the first one to responde (yes, they're good at this). Due to the emergency and flat rate price, I asked them to dispatch a technician to take a look. The nightmare happened from there.

The issue was bathtub clog, and the technician came to a conclusion that the clog was due to the intersection of the laundry line and the bathtub line. He suggested replacing the P-trap and provided a quote of $1175. I was surprised about this amount but took a step back and asked what if the issue happened again. The technician said he would provide me with a 5-year warranty. I asked whether it means any problem with a bathtub clogged would be covered with the 5-year warranty and he said yes. For the hassle-free purpose in the future, I approved this service. I used 1.2K dollars to buy the warranty, though the labor is way overpriced.

However, this is the end state that the technician did it to me:
1) He replaced the p-trap but it was leaking!!! I found this issue until the technician from another great company told me in a month and replaced it again.
2) He failed to unclog the bathtub!!! The clog issue happened immediately in a week! My tenant didn't use the bathtub frequently because he took showers in the gym, and we found this issue within a week. It indicated the issue was never fixed.
3) The technician observed the water was still draining slowly after doing some cabling work. He opened the trip lever hole and found the trip lever was broken. He had an Aha moment and thought he found the root cause: the trip lever is broken into the bathtub pipe! He provided a new quote $2445 to fix the issue!!!

In fact, I knew the trip lever was already gone. More than a year ago, a technician actually cabled through from the trip lever hole. It indicated that the pipe was clean and there was no broken metal clogged there! The issue should still be in the main pipe!

I definitely rejected this quote because the technician told me that the water was draining but slow. OK, as long as it becomes functioning, it's better than the previous state.

However, within a week the issue happened again, my tenant didn't report the issue because he was worried that it would bother me too much. When I came onsite and took a look at the issue in a month, I was surprised that the bathtub was clogged and it took about multiple hours to drain!!!

I called Elite rooter to take a look at the recall problem, and they sent a different technician to the house. The technician did not agree on the 5-year warranty at all. He blamed the root cause as the broken metal in the bathtub pipe (additional $2445 to fix). He could cabling the main pipe with $250, but he warned me that the issue could happen again because we didn't fix the broken metal issue. The possible state could be he cabled and charged me $250, but the issue was still not fixed because I couldn't verify the fix because they would stick to the so-called root cause. This technician also told me that he had so many years of experience when I asked very reasonable questions. LOL.

Up to this point, I was fully disappointed with Elite Rooter. I quoted another company that I hired to replace my main sewer line a year ago. That company told me that they don't think cutting pipe to remove the metal from the bathtub pipe is necessary! They fixed all issues for me. Will never ever use Elite Rooter again!

Elite Rooter came out to snake my main line. The plumber did snake it three times but could not unclog the line. He didn't seem too skilled on how to snake a house. There are ways to feel for clogs, stop, rotate, push forward. He didn't seem to know. He didn't fix the problem.

I was charged anyway the $79. Then the supervisor came out to try to sell me their hydro jet package which costs either $1500. or $3000 before discounts depending on what you want.

I declined. I hired another company the next day. They snaked the line and unclogged it. Problem solved. No expensive hydro jetting needed. The second plumber had more experience and seemed to know how to use the snake machine better. I will never use Elite Rooter again. I could have been out thousands of dollars had I gone with their recommendation!

I noticed a overflow of the outside drain clean out last week, so I scheduled the unclogging with Elite Rooter. They were nice and able to schedule a tech to come in yesterday. The tech was a nice guy. He tried to snake through the pipe but could not succeed (2 stars for him). Today the tech came back with their specialist Eddie with a cable camera to see what was the issue. Then Eddie said it was caused by roots and built up due to no property line clean out, and he suggested to dig up and install the clean out with an estimate of $4500! I said I needed to shop around and then he pushed me to do a hydro-jet cleaning for $1200!

After sending them away, I called a few other plumbers and first one came to my site noticed immediately that I actually have a property line clean out installed in the front yard! In the end, a very easy shaking through the property line solved all the issue in 10min.

Since it took the other plumber 1 min to find out the existing property line clean out, I think the techs in Elite Rooter don't have professional experience as they claimed. Also, trying to sell me $4500/ $1200 services that I did not really need seems quite fishy and greedy.

I would recommend to get other plumbers' opinion / estimates first before you decide to do a major project with Elite Rooter.

We called because we had an emergency with the bathtub in our home getting backed up and Erick was able come and diagnose our problem! He was very professional and clean. He even brought his own clean mat, plastic wrap, and made sure to inform us of everything he was about to do. They were great and even made sure to tell us about the discount pricing on service he was about to provide to us. It was overall a wonderful experience and I would 100% use them again! Their ads says If we cannot clear your drain we do not charge anything!! Not true.. they still charge me $179 without fixing the issue, and they said it's my pipe's problem and gave a 3.4K repair proposal even not including patch the concrete, if I accept that would cost me at least FOUR THOUSANDS DOLLAR! I was told this is the only option I have.

THE MOST DRAMA THING: they lied to me that my tenant is not able to use the water in house like shower, because of the clog. BUT the truth is only hallway half bathroom is clogged, not all bathrooms are clogged!! I think they were trying to give me pressure to accept their 3.4K repair plan! I MUST REPORT THIS TO THE STATE LICENSE DEPARTMENT! LIAR!

The reason they gave me why I am still charged because they went to the roof.. but I do have a clean out on ground..

I called another plumber and they fixed the clog by using the ground clean out and pulled the stuff causing clog.

I send the receipt and details to them for refund, no response.

Ok, dispute on my credit company and file my complain to the state license department, let's wait and see.

We had just finished a remodel, and suddenly, our toilets started clogging up in a massive way. We've had a history of issues with plumbing, and so I chalked it up to just another one of those episodes.

Erick Zavala came out, and he was professional, detailed (wrote notes and pictures about everything). He spent the better part of the whole morning trying to unclog our pipes going out to the street (that was where the problem was), but no luck.

He called in reinforcements, and it became abundantly clear that roots had invaded our line to the point that it needed to be replaced.

He called his manager in (Gabe), who ran a camera through our pipes to show us the extent of the damage. Gave us a couple of short-term vs. long term fix options, and advised us appropriately.

We went with the long term fix since it was clear this would happen again. They promptly came out the next day with a crew, did the whole work, and left my front yard as though they never came at all. Except I now have super clean, no more tree roots pipes now.

Thank you guys, you were great. Would highly, highly recommend these guys to anyone.

We had a clog in our plumbing that caused our showers to back up. I called Elite Rooter and was mostly communicating with Ruben. The guys replaced a section of our sewer line that was severed from the rest of the line. This break in the line caused tree roots to grow into the broken area, which was what caused the back-up.

The guys did a fantastic job in repairing the line and clearing out the shower drains. They also showed up on time and were very friendly. Not only that, they back-filled the area where they dug a trench to where you can't even tell a trench was dug there. They completely cleaned up when they were through, too. I've already recommended them to a neighbor.

Erick came out to help us out, when our kitchen sink backed up. He was knowledgeable and shared in advance what he was planning to do. He was thorough and even though the job turned out to be more than just a kitchen clean out, because piping was old. He was a professional and eventually got the blockage cleared out. He explained all that he was doing and future maintenance to reduce possiblity of future blockages.

I was looking for a plumber to clear up a backup from the washing machine in my garage. I sent out inquiries though Yelp and was contacted by Elite Rooter on a Sunday evening. They scheduled me for a 2 hour window the next morning.

Today, I get a call shortly after the two hour window began, letting me know a plumber would be at my place in a half an hour. Alex arrived promptly and got straight to work. He fixed the problem in less than 45 minutes.

Alex was friendly and professional. I would definitely use this service again.

Wow, customer beware. this place is a major scam. i had a sewer block and back up issue this morning. shower backing up, toilet backing up, and having lived in my house for 20 years, i knew the issue. i needed someone to snake out from the clean out in front of the house, that's just 6 feet from the house. i've had to do this a number of times over the years as my house was built in mid 50's. Elite Rooter has a $69 coupon on their website. the technician, Erick, arrives, has me put showers on and flush toilets and it ALL backs up again, like i'm lying about what is going on. He asks a bunch of questions on age of pipes, yada yada, before he tries and snakes out. He is unable to snake out sewer line and calls expert technician. this is taking 2 hours from when Erick first shows up. This new 'expert' puts a camera down the line and says there is a break / gap in pipe, provides me a $3900 estimate and wants me to sign to start work.. of course i boot them, call another pluming company who came out in 30 minutes.. and 15 minutes later the damn line is snaked and the sewer line is working perfectly fine !!!! what a bait and switch! these guys are a scam. stay away !

Our laundry and kitchen drain were flooding again from a known issue, and I finally decided to address it. At first I thought it was solvable using some snake like things, but I quickly realized the pipe needs to be properly replaced. Adhemar was the technician who explained the overall situation and arranged a quote to fix the issue. I consider myself pretty demanding, and asking a lot of questions to get to the right solution, and Adhemar was attentive and helpful. We not only ended up fixing the immediate problem but also went ahead to fix a potential future problem as well by proactively replacing older pipes in the house. I would highly recommend them.

Nothing but praise I have for Elite Rooter!

I had a slowly draining kitchen sink and called for a quote and an appointment. They scheduled me on the same day!

Robert came over and he was incredible! He performed his due diligence and checked the entire piping situation in the house and found a handful of issues that if not addressed, could cause more problems in the future. He explained to us in a very friendly and professional matter what that means, and he was gracious enough the have the same chat with our property manager as we do not own the house.

He fixed the kitchen sink and left the invoice open for a few days in order for us to talk to the property manager and figure out next steps.

He also went out of his way to help us with a written invoice and statement with the work he performed as well as his observations on the state of the pipes and plumbing.

I am extremely grateful for all his help!

I strongly recommend Elite Rooter, this is A+ for customer service!

TLDR: Upsold from $79 to $1100 but service was high quality and fast.

Our kitchen sink was clogged. We called Elite Rooter and they quoted us $79 to come take a look. Erick came just a few hours later. He spent two hours trying to unclog the pipe using a snake. He drained the sink and kept everything super clean.

After 2 hours Erick informed us that using a snake wasn't working. After making a hole in the clog, the clog would reform when using the sink. He told us that he would need to come back the next day with a jet and use pressure to clean out the whole pipe. The cost would be $1100.

Erick showed up with an assistant the next day and after about 2 hours of work successfully cleaned out the pipes.

Overall I was very happy with the service. I've seen other reviews on Yelp that Elite Rooter might be trying to up sell more expensive services after coming in with a cheap quote. I'm not sure if that's what happened in my case. I'm still happy with the service because the issue was resolved and they were able to come quickly. Most plumbers I called wouldn't be able to come for several days.

Had drain pipe clog - called Elite Rooter as they had helped previously also.
The person who came first was great, helped with details and explained issue and that he woould need to bring in another guy with camera to see where blockage was in pipe....The guy with camera setup though good on first day of cleanup where he recomended hydro jeeting initially else dig up the drain if blcok is found next day. He became rude the day he came up to check on drain post hydro jet...he saw a block in pipe due to tree roots and suggested to dig up to clean drain but never wanted to share the quote he was verbally quoting - when i asked give me a day he became more argumentative and starting talking rubbish - he didnt even bother to close the discussion in amicable way and when i said let me see the quote and check with comparable quotes or ask his office who sent him for discounts he said i am the boss on field what will office do......very bad exp and will never use elite rooter again

Elite Rooter was great! I requested a quote, and someone came out the next day to talk me through options and what should be done. I thought I'd have to replace my whole sewer line but Elite Rooter suggested a power wash to clear out roots might be enough to keep me running for a while -- which was great because the full replacement would have been VERY expensive.

They were even in the area the next day, and Eddie came out, did the cleaning, and then spent EXTRA time helping me unclog the back sink that hasn't drained in probably two years. I highly recommend Elite Rooter for plumbing needs!

I called Elite Rooter about replacing a refrigerator water line. I was told they could be out to my house between 12-2pm the next day. I said great. At 1:50 I called back wanting an update. She said oh they aren't supposed to come til 1-3pm now, hours go by and no one. Finally called back to say they were delayed, won't be til 3-5pm. Ok.
The guys get to my house at 4;55pn. I told them about the project and they said they needed to call their supervisor for a quote. 5 minutes later they give me a quote of $1850!!!! What? Are you serious? This is ridiculous! Supervisor tells me that is the price, if I don't like it call someone else.
I used to use them for plumbing problems for my real estate listings. NEVER AGAIN.
My handyman did the job in 20 minutes for $100 including the copper hose.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Crooks!!!! !

At least Elite Rooter arrived on time. Other than that, the one got sent lacked the experience and wasn't able to fix the kitchen drainage issue and technician manager called me and said hydro-jetting and clean out was needed at a cost of $2,800 I was ready to accept thy so I ended calling Drain Masters,
the owner came who appears to be more experienced and was able to fixed the issue at $400 less. So do get a second opinion if you ended up in same situation as me. They did refund the cost of first visit which was nice gesture

I called them to unclogging my drain in April, it took them a long time and they said they suspected I had a p-trap in my main sewer due to it's an old house and it might be broken. They unclogged the drain anyway and it worked fine at that time.
They also gave me quotes about replacing the p-trap and/or the whole main sewer. I even paid some extra bucks for the unclogging job since they spent quite some time at my place.

In June the drain was clogging again, and they came tried to snake it again and it didn't work. This time, the technician said It's DEFINITELY your p-trap was broken and it's causing the problem. I paid them anyway for the snaking.

I ended up using another company to dig up my front yard and replacing the said broken p-trap and my main sewer all together . It turns out there is NO p-trap on my main sewer, the main sewer is old , but not broken, and still function-able. The place they thought was a p-trap was actually the vertical property line clean out. And the blockage was actually in the city's sewer line.

So ideally, if I knew or they could figure out that I actually had a property line clean-out (in all fairness it was below the gardening stone and weed barrier which was done by previous owner, so I didn't know) I could just call the city and have them clean the city sewer and resolve the problem.

Too bad I only found that out after I spend a few thousands of dollars.

When it comes to where you go when you NEED to go, Elite Router is our house's first choice.

Our old and much loved house plumbing busted a pipe and Eddie with Elite Router was out the same day. He and the team brought out the big guns, identified the issue and gave us the full breakdown, prices, options. A quick decision later and the issue was being fixed.

Not only was our problem solved in full, but also Eddie was wonderfully clean, quiet, and helpful. I've never seen a maintenance crew not only bring gloves and booties but even a welcome mat to wipe their feet and cover cords! White glove service!

I had a backed up toilet downstairs right around Thanksgiving time. I've send messages on Yelp, and Elite Rooter was the 1st to respond, followed by 3 others. Due to the urgency, we asked Elite to come out 1st. It turned out that they had to come out twice.

1st time, the A. technician tried to snake it. Didn't work. He then took out the toilet and snake it again. Seemed to have unstuck the flow but still slow. Got his check and left and promised to come back the next morning to continue look at the slow drain. However, the same night, we run the washer, and that caused a major backing up in the same toilet. A very unpleasant experience to clean up.

2nd time, at the promised time, A. didn't show up. I called the office. After a few phone calls back and forth, they promised a technician would come in the afternoon. A. showed up again in the afternoon. Tried snake again, still no improvement. He then called in a senior guy, E. to use their camera to see if they can locate the problem. They could not pin point the issue. Just that the overall condition of the sewer pipes are in bad shape, suggested to replace all the sewer pipes, and provided a quote.

So, in the end, they did not locate and fix the exact problem. And the quote was on par w/ 2 others and not competitive.

He unclogged our drain in a timely manner . The drain was connected to our washer and it was clogged. Before his help we had water overflowing all over the garage and we couldn't wash our clothes .

They quoted a low price for snaking ($69) so I went with them. Made zero progress on the clog and gave expensive options for further work (ranging from $2.5k to $10k). Glad I called another plumber, fixed the clog with hydrojetting in minutes at a fraction of the cost.

Waste of time / money. They don't have good snaking equipment and charge too much for hydro ($2.5k).

I got the clogged kitchen sink. Price checked with multiple companies. This company had so called $79 or around that price for snaking service. Representative showed up friendly and professional, and told me that because our townhouse does not have the easy service port access, so they have to charge $300+ instead. Since I have price checked with other companies, so I know that around $300 is normal.

I think this company should be more honest and tell customer what is that $79 service is actually for.

I will not recommend this company to my friends.

Erick from Elite Rooter helped me open up my bath drain which had tons of deposit. We had issue taking out the drain face plate as the screws were rusted. Erick explained the options very well to me and we went ahead with carefully cutting only part of the face plate which we can put back on easily. He was able to do it quickly and they did for a fraction of price what others were quoting! I would highly recommend him and would definitely use them again.

Short story is Elite Rooter's technician Erick and his coworkers provide a good service to solve my plumbing issue, and I will recommend Eric and Elite Rooter to anyone who want to have plumbing service. If you want whole story, please keep reading.
My kitchen sink is clogged with backed up flow on Sunday morning and grey water is backed up from washer drain pipe and flood my floor too. I failed to fix by myself.
So I contacted multi plumbers through Yelp on Sunday night and Elite rooter is the one who can come earliest on next day and with good Yelp reviews. So I made appointment for next day and they send Eric to be my technician.
On Monday, Eric arrived within the arrival window they promised. He is very polite and professional, he wears musk all the time and protect the area he is working on and clean up everything where he is working, and give easy understand explanation as well.
At first he think it is just a simple pipe snake job , and quote me a flat rate around $80 , which is a fair price. But that snaking does not work, and later he found out by checking my craw space that it is the +50years cast iron pipe causing the issue. The pipe under kitchen is totally rusted and have a big breakdown, and of course, is clogged as well. So he continue checking my whole craw space and find out more problems here and there , like soon to break area, small leaking area, tree root break pipe, due to same type of old cast iron pipe.
He called his senior supervisor Gabe and discussed the situation. And their conclusion is it is best to replace all 50y+ old cast iron pipe together, rather than just fix the kitchen section , which in long term will save the total cost. After checking pipe pictures taken from craw space, I was convinced that replace all cast iron pipe with pvc pipe is right thing to do. So Eric start arrange the whole 4-day project for me.
Eric and one of his co-worker always arrive on time 9:30am and work hardly whole day under crowded craw space till 5pm. They manage the progress very well, which allows my family could use everything when we are home and also finish job on Thursday as they promised. Everything is tested and running well now, and I don't need to worry my pipe break and cause big mess in near future (let's say 15y later) .
The whole project costs about 12K , which seems pricy but considering their work quality and also it is a long term investment, I am happy with the money I spent. At the end, they have life time warranty (transferrable when selling home) , which kind of give you how confidence they are for their work.

Hooray my drain works! Elite Rooter came through quickly and easily with a mystery problem (to us anyway!) In our backed up kitchen sink at a reasonable price.

We had a clogged toilet that had run up into the adjacent tub. The contractors assigned to us by our warranty company determined it was a partial mainline blockage and refused to do the work / tried to pawn it off to one of their friends. After a few weeks of going back and forth with our warranty company and their respective contractors dragging their feet, we decided to take a shot at finding our own contractor

Elite Rooter responded same day, and their prices seemed to be fair ($79 drain care special, further quotes upon arrival if needed). Erick explained everything very clearly, concisely, and professionally. He explained that because our condo was upstairs, it was impossible to do a clear out from the ground drain because the auger / pump won't work when trying to aim it upwards. So they unfortunately had to remove our toilet and use the tools in a downward vertical trajectory and that seemed to clear out the drain. So what was $79 became closer to $180 (still reasonable considering what our previous contractors quoted us i.e. $400 - $500 for a clear out).

After an hour or so, Erick could've left and said job done, but instead he wanted to ensure the problem didn't persist--great customer service!

His instinct was apparently spot on, because when he added pressure to the line the water still backed up (although not as bad as before). His supervisor / sewer line specialist came with a fiber optic camera and ran it down the line and that's where we discovered that large sections of the pipes were corroded.

Elite Rooter explained the only way to fix this is to replace the pipes, which is pretty darn expensive (seriously google it and try not to have a heart attack). Usually I would remain skeptical and say a contractor was trying to pull a fast one on me. However the fact that they showed me the pipes through the camera feed, I could clearly see the difference, and I did research after they left to validate the severity of the problem, proved that Elite Rooter is committed to customer care and customer confidence.

I would definitely recommend Elite Rooter for any future plumbing needs.

Looks like this company stuck my bad review at the bottom of the stack. This company came to put in a new water heater. The first one they gave us didn't work but they did finally put one in that works but this wasn't really the problem The new water heater was shorter than the old one, which left a gap between the pipe and and the ceiling. All they had to do was use a longer pipe but they didn't. Gas was leaking into our house and could have killed us. When I called them back I was angry and wanted to complete the job but they refused. So I spend money again to have a real plumber come by and just put a long metal pipe that would allow the gas to go to the attic where it is safe. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I'm very pleased with the service provided by Elite Rooter. Their price for cleaning out a drain was much less than other companies.

They texted me to let me know when they would be arriving at my house and arrived on time.

Armando was very professional. He explained why the drain kept backing up and explained the options clearly.

I went with the permanent option to actually replace the pipe. They did not pressure me and the price was reasonable compared to what other plumbers quoted for the same service. The pipe was fixed that afternoon and I haven't had any issues since then.

I will call Elite Rooter without hesitation in the future for any of my plumbing needs.

I rarely provide a bad review for a business on yelp since I understand we all make mistakes, but I had to share my experience with Elite Rooter, since it was so bad I felt compelled to let others know.

It stared out with my washing machine drainage pipe overflowing, so I reached out Elite Rooter since it seemed like a reputable business with many happy customer reviews. Eddie from Elite Rooter showed up to snake the pipe, but after he snaked the drain the water still overflows. I asked him if it could be a clog in the p trap, he said he's certain that's not the issue. Instead he told me he'll come back another day with another crew to run a camera in the pipe to figure out the issue. He charged me $289 for snaking the pipe even though he did not fix the problem.

Next day he came out with Scott to run a camera down the pipe, they told me my sewage pipe is damaged and will cost over $15,000 for the repair. I told them to send me an invoice and I'll think about it. I called another plumber the next day to diagnose the overflowing issue. It turned out to a clogged p trap, and he was able to fix it in an hour.

I sent Eddie a photo of the clogged p trap and asked why they weren't able to diagnose and fix the issue. He directed me to talk to his regional manager instead.

After some phone calls and emails with the regional manager Annette, she finally sent out a refund check for $289. I deposited the check, but it bounced a few days later due to insufficient fund, and I was charged with a bounced check fee. I contacted Annette again to ask her to send me a cashier's check or venmo/paypal for the refund plus the bounced check fee, since she can't even tell me why the check bounced in the first place, I didn't want to take a chance on another bad check from them. She said they can only reissue me a check, no cashier's check, or other types of digital payment.

So I had no choice but wait for the refund check to be reissued. I received the refund check again, but it's only for $289, it did not include $7.50 for the bounced check fee, even though I specifically asked them to include that additional amount. I had to contact them again to ask for another check for $7.50.

Through out this whole process, there was no explanation why they weren't able to fix my overflowing pipe, nor explanation on the bounce check. It took me multiple emails and phone calls over a month to get my money back. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company.

This was a great company to work with.

I had a shower drain clog. Since I have iron pipes, it made snaking the drain hard. But they persisted and came the next day and snaked the other side of my garage wall, and that finally worked!

They were very clean wearing shoe covers, masks, plastic on floor and were very patient and friendly. The pricing was fair too.

I just moved in a property and after a week the drainer below the kitchen sink didn't work. While the home warranty asked us to wait over the weekend which is about 4 days, Elite Rooter came here really quickly and did an excellent job. We just talked to them and had them come check out our rental property. Ends up 10 feet of piping under the house and strapping up another 20 feet of piping was a bid of $3448. This is at most $100 in parts, and approximately four hours of labor they said. To make it more insulting of a rip off, they charged $389 just to come out and look at the problem and give the estimate. They were there a total of 30 minutes.

Stay far away from this rip off of a company.

Our washing machine drain backed up and overflowed at the end of its cycle. This indicated a clog way down the line. Elite ran a camera through the line and showed me how badly the outside line had deteriorated. Very old cast iron. I had them pull a new line, house to city connection, and they did an excellent job. Then they showed me how bad the lines were under the house. I had them replace all the sewer lines under the house too. Big and expensive job! But when they showed me the removed pipes half filled with hard sediment it was obviously necessary. Took about four days. Very good work.

My washer overflowed this morning due to a clogged drain pipe so I started looking for a plumber. I was being quoted prices of between $169-$300 from plumbers I was able to reach and this was very discouraging. Then I found Elite Rooter with an advertised special of only $79 to unclog a drain. I was able to make an appointment online and choose the time of the service call. I got a call back to confirm almost immediately and within the hour, Jesus, a senior technician was at my home working on the issue. I could not believe how quickly he was able to come out. He was very professional and solved the issue within a short time. He also ran a test to confirm the drain was unclogged. He even carefully placed protective paper on the floor to keep it clean. I am so happy with these guys that they have my business going forward. I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

This is beyond expectation! Called for a clogging clean-out service for my kitchen drain as I usually do every year (old pipe). Came on the same day (A plus).

Giovanni was amazing. Professional service and manner. He snaked my pipe and noticed something wrong with mud at around 22FT +/-. He called his manger, and wait for me for an hour. His manager came, and they did a video snake survey for free. Through their surveying snake machine (another snake with a video camera on the snake head), I saw the problem where the clogging is located.

Giovanni and his manager identified the more serious problem and provided options to fix.

Should I ask another company for this service (as I did in the past few years), the plumber will just come, snake one time and leave.

Elite is highly recommended with quality service, value. Most importantly, they go the extra mile to satisfy customer needs.

Always double check their prices that they quote. I was a first time home owner and had no idea what plumbing problems our new home is hiding. I called them in for a regular chocked drain. It was some kind of a $60 deal. The fixed that easily but then started pointing out many many issues in our drainage system.

A senior guy from their team shows up and did a complete under home drain system examination. I was scared into believing that we need to replace main drain pipe that connects to the city sewer pipe.
Something did not felt right to me as they pressured into signing up for their service. They even had financing options available. I did not take anything that they offered. Asked an independent contractor to verify claims that this company made. ALL CLAIMS WERE SCARE MONGERING. There was nothing under our house that needed to be fixed as this company made me believe.

The main sewer line decided it had all it wanted to take. On Labor Day, of course!

I found Elite on Yelp and they had a coupon for cleanout. They responded in minutes (!) and came out that day. Their technician, Albert, ran the snake. My driveway is long so this was a pretty big cleanout. Turned out he found some roots, so this was more than a simple rooter operation (uh oh) and he brought Joe the following morning, with the camera, to look over the line, found a few issues and gave me some options for a better repair (not cheap but they could at least offer a range). In the meantime, it's working.

I was expecting an upcharge for all the additional work but no, the coupon price applied.

Albert was courteous, experienced, explained everything along the way, and did a 100% cleanup afterwards.

I had a big clog in my main line that was discovered at 9pm at night. I messaged Elite Rooter and got an answer within minutes! In less than 12 hours they had a tech sent out, Jesus, who was able to diagnose the problem immediately and get to work. I was just scammed by two very nice guys. I had a drain back up. I didn't want to snake out the drain myself, so I called a $79 service. They said the snake couldn't clean it out, just like many other reviews here said. Geo said it would cost $400 for his supervisor to come out and see what the problem was. His supervisor couldn't explain the problem well but said said there was something hard like metal blocking the snake because the piping was installed incorrectly years ago. He said it was a big job and would cost $2700 to repair it, and this is their new lower rates to help people out during the covid crisis. Reluctantly, I agreed. They seemed so nice and honest. To my surprise, Geo told me 2 hours later that is was fixed, including a 30 minute parts run to the store. I assume $100 in parts. Really? $1300 an hour for labor? That's like a week of my salary.

I suspect I could have unclogged the drain myself but I honestly can't say. Maybe they did need to fix the pipe. I don't know what the real issue was. I asked them to send a before and after picture before they started. They agreed but didn't. Also didn't clean up their plastic runners taped to my floors. Anyway the price they charged is immoral. Very dishonest. Don't use them. This is a scam operation.

I only got a quote from Elite Rooters. Did not get any repair work done from them because their quote was insanely expensive.

2 stars for responding fairly quickly on yelp, sending over a tech to have a look and give an estimate. The tech was professional enough and was also wearing a mask during this Covid situation.

I docked the remaining stars because of their quote. I got a slab leak from a hot water pipe burst underneath the house. Their quote was 1500$ for leak detection while everyone else I've contacted (about 5 or 6 others) as well as internet searches quoted 300$-400$ for the same task.

Similarly, for the repiping fix their quota was 2-3 times other quotes I received. They seem to definitely have a high markup or huge overhead.

I called them up hoping to resolve a knocking problem I was having when the water I turn in the hot water in one of the bathrooms. Their free estimate is limited to above ground and asked for $79 to do a complete inspection of the plumbing in the crawl space. I was fine with that since their time isn't free. After I paid and got a verbal report, I was told my toilet flange would need replacing. Okay, sure. The initial verbal estimate I got was $2,400, but I needed to wait for the drain specialists to confirm. Drain Specialists stops by and puts the estimate at $2,850. I was then told I would receive a formal quote/estimate by the end of the day. 3 days later after calling and messaging them each day, I finally get a quote for...$3,850. That's right. Their formal quote came in a cool $1k above their specialists' verbal quote. All the while, I keep getting messages and emails asking to provide a review for this plumbing company. Suffice it to say, I wasted my time and my money with them.

I'd highly recommend Oscar Madrigal to anyone who needs a professional and really nice person for a plumbing job. The drain pipes at my house are routed in a complex way that easily causes clogs and makes it much harder to clean. I myself tried everything from bleaches to drain snakes. Oscar worked hard on it, solved the problem professionally, and now we can do our dishes again. He is a funny guy to talk to too!

Jose called 30 mins before and arrived at our house within the promised time. He was the only plumber out of three that we called that was willing to go under the crawl space to diagnose the issue, free of charge. Even though at the end it turned out they couldn't fix our issue as we needed a water damage restoration company instead of a plumbing company, Jose didn't try to push unnecessary repairs. Instead he recommended a restoration company for us to reach out to. He even had his manager come out (again free of charge) to verify his diagnosis. They both seemed like very honest and reliable guys. If we ever need plumbing work in the future, we will for sure reach out to them.

I had snaked our kitchen drain up to 25 feet, but the blockage was further on. Geovany used a 100 ft auger to snake from the outside cleanout drain, twice. Hit several blockages with junk that came out. Last time this was done was 12 years ago. Flushed with hot water for 15 minutes. All good now. Highly recommend.

The plumber asked for help, and one more people came by and claimed I needed some pipes replaced. I called another company and they unclogged the drain in 10 minutes. I woke up on a Saturday morning to find that none of my toilets or showers were draining water. This wasn't a good thing considering most people want to do their bathroom duties around this time.

Edgar showed up at the scheduled time and went to work. He did his best to unclog what he could through one of the toilets, seeing that my home didn't have a two way cleanout.

This proved to help with the clog but only temporarily. Joe later came to use his camera and sonar systems, but it appears there was an issue in my main sewage line.

After considering a few options written up by Joe, I choose to change out my main line and install a clean-out. It took a few tries. They first attempted to pull the pipe through, but this didn't work as it create an oval shape in the pipe. They later had to dig up and replace.

Overall was a cost I wasn't prepared for. They talked to me through my financial options and I choose one which worked best for me.

They worked well with the City of Campbell to get all the permits done and ensure I was satisfied with my work.

I would recommend them to anyone needing professional support for their rooter needs.

Scam Alert!! We had a similar experience just like many other 1-star reviewers.

Our drain pipe that takes in the washing machine drain hose was clogged. Elite Rooter quickly replied and arrived in 30 minutes; hence the 1-star.

Geovany (Geo) the Senior Technician arrived first. He used his drain snake a few times and said I can't get pass 10 feet. So he called his supervisor to get his opinion, who happened to be 10 minutes away.

The supervisor (SV) arrived (didn't catch his name), agreed with Geo's assessment (couldn't get past 10 ft) and added that he would need to go under the house to see if there's a cracked pipe, which would cost an extra $289 (on top of the $69 special).

I said hold up wait a minute I need to call our Landlords (LLs) to mention this possibility of a broken pipe. Our LLs came over right away. The SV explained his theory but my LLs knew right away that they were trying to scam b/c the LLs updated the house recently including new pipes.

Our LLs asked why they were using a 25ft 1/2-inch drain snake and if they had bigger ones on their trucks. Geo & the SV said that what they have here is all they brought. (One small snake, two plumber trucks?!) The LLs then asked if they tried using a blade or cutter to help break through the debris. Taken aback by the questions, they both rummaged through the two trucks and the SV came back with a 4-inch blade and said that's the only blade they had with them.

We all looked at the tiny snake and that huge blade and thought WhatTheWhat! that doesn't fit at all! Then looking closer at their drain snake, it was actually broken at the tip -- even if they did have a smaller blade with them there was no way of attaching it to the snake. The plumbers certainly came unprepared to unclog a drain!

After a few minutes of the SV trying to convince us about a broken pipe, we said that we have heard enough and that they should just leave, and so they did. But before they left, the SV said Well if your LLs can do this work, why did you call us? How rude! Not that it's any of his business but our lease contract states that we/tenants are to take care of clogged drains by calling a plumber. We called the LLs because of the possibility of the broken pipe.

In the end, Elite Rooter did not charge us because they did not fix the problem... AND our LLs used their drain snake with a blade, broke through the debris, and now the drain works just fine. No broken pipes or leaks anywhere!

The last time this same drain clogged was two years ago and we used EJ Plumbing. They were nice, honest, had the proper equipment, and got the job done hassle-free. I passed them up because they were not available the day of the clog, that was a big mistake. Now I know. I highly recommend using EJ Plumbing, which is what I will do from now on.

I see other reviewers having good experiences and maybe it depends on the plumber. The two guys who came over to help us tried to scam us, therefore, I do not recommend Elite Rooter to anyone nor am I interested in hearing back from their Business Manager or Customer Service to make excuses for their behavior and not having proper equipment with them to unclog a drain.

We saw some water on our kitchen counter dripping through the cabinets. Suspected it was a leak from the bathroom above. Elite Rooter responded immediately to our ask for a quote and sent out a technician for free! The technician said they could not service the request since we had cabinets and there is no access to the pipes. But they gave us the number of a restoration company that can check the humidity and diagnose the problem better. I really appreciate their promptness and honestly.

I highly recommend Elite Rooter, Great experience! If you have to call a plumber call Elite Rooter. Very fast response, clean and professional work. I have used them on a separate occasion last year to replace sewer lines and have had great experiences every time.

I have a Victorian house over 100 years old. The plumbing was backing up in two of my tenant's apartment during the covid 19 pandemic end of March 2020. I called Elite and spoke to Geo who had his crew on site with in 30 minutes. They found the issue of tree roots growing through the main sewer pipe from the house to the street. The pipes are clay and very old so they had to be very careful to run the camera to find the issue. The main sewer line needed to be replaced as the tree roots had broken the pipe and could not be fixed. The sewer connection at the street was at least 9 feet deep. It was amazing to see the deep holes they had to dig to access the line for replace and attach to the new pipe to the city sewer line. It appeared to need at least approximately 40 feet of pipe replacement.

Elite did an amazing job of replacing the main clay sewer pipe with a pipe that will keep roots out, adding three clean outs to the line for easy access. They worked with the city while it was raining and over a conference call as the city inspector was working from home, they all work together flawlessly and all the work was approved in a timely manner.

I would like to thank Geo personally for being so patient when as an owner I was feeling over whelmed with the situation.

my laundry room pipe was clogged. I yelp messaged several companies for a quote, and Elite Rooter replied me right away to schedule an appointment. ( This quick response deserved this one start)

Their contractor stopped by and claimed to fix the issue and left me tons of text messages to ask me leave a good review for them. But the laundry room pipe was still clogged !!! I ended up finding someone else to do the work and fix the pipeline. At the mean time, I never received a call or email from their contractor on what they did and why they did not fix the issue but claimed they did. ( When they stopped by, I was not present at the house, but only have my general contractors in the house to open the door for Elite Rooter's technician. I thought they will at least call me to notify me the status of the work but they never did, nor never send me an invoice after. But, they did send me tons of text messages to ask me leave a review! )

After receiving another text message from their owner and asked me to leave a review for them, I decided to call them and asked for an invoice or explanation email for what they performed and why they did not fix the issue but still charged. Kaitlyn claimed that they already emailed the invoice to me ( She mentioned some email id that I have never heard of ).

I also noticed one thing that they really enjoy hanging up in me after I paid for their service. I called the office twice to request Kaitlyn resend me the invoice since she consistently sent it to incorrect email ids, and both times she just hand up in me right after she clicks the send button.

The drain outside my house was clogged. For $79, the plumber cleaned some roots through the cleanout, which is very reasonable. The plumber then stopped and said he would recommend a camera check-up to see the rest of the pipe. Another crew member, who was a manager, came and stuck a camera inside the drain. The manager said the pipe had a crack and needed to be repaired. He quoted me about $5000 to do the job with a city permit. I decided it was too much to handle the root issue. I will try some root killers first. So $79 is the bait to get a $5000 business.

The crew and the managers are very courteous throughout the process, though. So I gave them a 4 star.

The pipes behind my washing machine was clogged, so dirty water would spill out every time I ran a load. Oscar from Elite Rooter came to diagnose the issue, explained the problem, proposed a fix. It turned out that the pipes were previously incorrectly installed flat rather than at a slope. Oscar came back the next business day and spent 5 hours in the cramped crawl space under the house to make the repairs. Once completed, he showed me photos of the before and after, and included a 7 year warrantee on the work. Overall I was impressed with their professionalism.

Called in response to $69 ad for drain rooting, they got here and charged me $79 to snake the sewer lines. They found a break in the old cast iron pipe and gave me two options to fix this problem. First was to cut a 30' trench in my driveway to replace the pipe for $12,000. Second was to cut and dig to install a 3' patch for $4,800, my wife yelling in my ear to do something, I went with this option. The job took one man no more than 12 hours, material cost maybe $100. so the labor rate was $400 per hour. I must have been out of my mind to hire these guys, reputable plumbers in Morgan Hill charge about $200 or less. But wait, it gets better, a week later my plumbing backed up again. I called them out expecting this snake job would be part of their $79 guarantee, but no this blockage is not covered, they want another $79. I've been overcharged up the wazoo and still have a problem. Need a plumber? I suggest you go somewhere else.

Contacted Elite on yelp for a quote. Super responsive. Schedule an appointment, they said they would have a technician call me to provide an eta. They didn't give me a time frame on when to expect the call, but I didn't get a call from a technician. 30 mins later, they called me and hung up, I called back. They also for my information, I gave them my name, they pulled up the information and said my address was incorrect. I provided my address on the yelp message service. I'm unsure how that would have been entered incorrectly on their end. As I was on the phone, I told them I'd like to cancel my consultation for a free estimate because they are already 30 mins late and i dont know how much longer it'll take them. Then they hung up in me.

I'm surprised that's the service I got considering the message from the manager, states that they pride themselves in providing the best service to their customers.

Saw their Ads on google for unclog the kitchen drain for $69.

Came in 30 minutes later than the scheduled window. Minus 1 star.

The technician brought in a 25 ft hand held drain snake. Are you kidding me? Of course it is too small to break through the grease. This is the first time a snake does work. Wasted $69. I was also advised to do a hydrojet which cost over $2000.

Had to call another plumber to solve the problem. New plumber solved the problem in 10 minutes with a heavy duty drain snake.

I had a slow drain issue in my kitchen and decided to ask Elite Rooter team to take a look at it. Two techs came and suggested snaking out the drain from the cleanout side. They tried snaking out the drain few times with no success. Their understanding was that there is a clog somewhere about 10-15 ft deep in the drain pipe. Finally when they gave up snaking out from the cleanout, they suggested going to the next step which is using a hydro jet. They said that will fix the problem and can break up any clog in there. The price is abot $800. I am happy that I did not accept it and wanted to think more about it. Before they leave, they tried snaking out from the sink side and it opened the clog a little bit.
My problem with their service is that given the shape and configuration of the pipe, anyone could easily guess that the clog is somewhere between the sink and cleaout. Becasue after they left and I started working on it by myself, I found it quite obvious that the clog cannot be after the cleanout. Anytime I ran water through the cleanout, it ran smoothly but when I ran it through sink it got stuck. Easy problem but Elite Rooter techs offered an expensive solution. Long story short, I was able to unclog the pipe using a manual auger and it runs smoothly now. Last note; during my research I found hydro jet service for $400 dollars. I did not use it becuase I was able to fix the problem myself but it was very surprising that Elite Rooter's price was significantly higher.

I agree with the rest of the reviews on there that this company uses a low $69 BAIT AND SWITCH trick just to get business. They know that once they are in your house there's a pretty good chance that you will take their higher priced services. They came to my house to unclog my sink for $69 but they said that the service wasn't included in their scope and quoted $168 to unclog the sink which is ridiculous. I declined their service and they had the nerve to try to charge me for the visit. I referred them to their OWN website that clearly indicated no trip charges. I called another plumber and they quoted $115 to unclog sinks. That other plumber came and unclogged it in under 10 mins. I would avoid Elite Rooters unless you have an elite class pocket book.

Do NOT call Elite Rooting San Jose! I had a clogged sink. The technician cleared the waste line downstream but found that the blockage was between the sink and the main waste line.
His quote to repair this was $2500 (it involved drilling into the wall). I had a professional plumber arrive the next day and cleared the pipe for $100.
Either Elite's tech was very inexperienced or the company does not have the equipment to do the job. In addition I had removed the S trap below the sink for easier access. His quote to reinstall the trap was $189. This is a bait and switch contractor.
The only good thing I can say is they arrived on time.

I had Pablo (the technician from Elite Rooter) come over for giving me a quote for a sewage pipe repair.

When I had scheduled an appointment, I was told that the technician would send a camera down the sewage pipe and provide estimates for free.

Pablo arrived at the property 2 hrs late from the originally scheduled timeframe - there was no communication from Elite about this delay. They were actually unresponsive on the phone when I called them. Now when the technician reaches the property, the technician asked for $285 for doing the inspection. This is contradictory to what I was told when I booked the appointment.

Ultimately, after negotiation, he said that he would charge $140 for the inspection.

Even though this company is highly rated on yelp, please beware before you call them over as they don't stick to their commitments - both $$ and time.

Our washing machine drain was backing up. Their technician came and started spouting nonsense about how the drain was improperly installed. I told him many times that the drain worked perfectly until a month ago and all I want is for it to get working again like it did for months. They would just not listen and insist that it was improperly installed.
They gave me a quote of over $2K to replace the whole drain line. Another plumber (on-time plumbing) fixed the problem by just snaking the line for less than $200. My drain has been working perfectly for 4 loads now.

I should have known based on the other 1 star reviews, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I was wrong. They did come at the time they said they were going to, so one star for being punctual and the technician that came was very nice, professional and polite, so another star for that. But he quoted a price that was 3x the amount of what they originally quoted me. I even asked in specifics (before the technician arrived) if the original price of $69 includes snake draining and they said yes. After that he said that snake drain was going to cost us $369 and said that it was a problem from the upstairs or downstairs (we live on the 2nd floor in a 3 story building).
We declined their service and called up another company. They came right away, did a snake drain and it cost us $125 flat, had absolutely nothing to do with our upstairs or downstairs.

I had a plumbing backup that flooded a bathroom and two bedrooms. I called upon Elite to come in and check it out. They came in, ripped out my sink, took out the tub, some drywall, flooring from the bathroom and two bedrooms and left me hanging! No calls, or call backs from me calling! No info as to what I should do next! My insurance company asked for a plumbers report and upon leaving numerous messages (nothing). Weeks have gone by with my bathroom and two bedrooms in disarray! They do NOT call back or care! I guess I will report this to the board of contractors! I guess I will have to hire someone else to do the plumbers report so the insurance will get rolling on my house to fix this problem! DO NOT HIRE THEM! YOU WILL BE SEVERELY DISSAPPOINTED!!! Dave H. of Elite Rooter San Jose just came and fixed my kitchen line clog about an hour ago. He was very professional, explained in detail how things work and what kind of work I might need in the future. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain how my piping works and how the sewage water flow would be given my house structure.

I was initially hesitant to go to Elite Rooter due to the negative reviews I read about the $69 deal being a front to upsell services, but in my case, they only charged me that amount for a simple cabling/snaking of the kitchen line. If I went to Home Depot to rent the same equipment they used, it would have also been $69 so I decided to go to Elite Rooter instead and let the pros do the job. This was also half the cost of the first time I ever had to snake my kitchen line, having paid $139 a few years back.

Watch for their coupon deals on their website for savings. I would definitely consider them again for my future drain cleaning needs.

DISHONEST AF! Avoid at all cost!

I am rating them a 1 star solely on the fact that they were late, took 1 look at my sink, and decided that they were going to charge me $300 to open up the garbage disposal based on no actual evidence that is the problem. Our garbage disposal works fine! Ridiculous! When I originally made an appointment, the lady quoted me an estimate of $69 to snake it. Supposedly my sink didn't need to be snake. No clue. But I would never waste my time with this company again... nor would I recommend them to anyone. We didn't get any work done by them but they appear dishonest from the get go so BYE! Can't fool me. Y'all should be ashamed of yourself!

I originally chose them because their prices were 2-3 times lower than other companies on yelp and they were the only ones which could come the same day to take care of clogged toilets in our office. Their message was:

Hey David, Our price to cable your drain stoppage through a clean out is $69 and we can have a technician to you whenever is best for you!

That was substantially lower than the other plumber who stated a price, so I agreed. When their plumber got here he told me that that price was for going through a clean out, meaning the pipe in the wall that the sink was connected to. The cost for doing that and disconnecting the plastic sink trap, a U-shaped piece of plastic between the sink and the pipe, was $280 -- four times as much. It was true, as he pointed out, that the message specified Through a clean out, but that was not a technical term a random customer could be expected to know, it was not pointed out to me either in the interaction on Yelp or when I talked with Elite on the phone, and nobody told me that I needed to disconnect the trap first.

I had arranged things with no contact, since we have been very careful about quarantining -- he was in the kitchen downstairs, I was upstairs. He went out, I came down and disconnected the trap, he came back and cleaned out the drain, he left and I reconnected the trap. Disconnecting and reconnecting took me something under half an hour, and I expect would have taken a professional perhaps half that long, and he wanted to charge me more than two hundred dollars for it.

I didn't give the firm zero stars because they did indeed do the job. But it was an obvious case of bait and switch, get my business by pretending that they would do the job at a low price and then find an excuse to tell me the price would be much higher, and I strongly disapprove of such behavior. If I ever need a plumber again, I will get someone else.

I had a sticker shock when I received this month's water bill, which was more than doubled a regular month's. I knew it must have been a running toilet or faucet to cause such a big increase, but can only identify one I recently replaced the fill valve myself. I came to yelp to ask for a quote, and Elite Rooter was the first to respond and promptly scheduled an appointment for the next morning.
Sal showed up 5min before the appointment time, and was very polite, professional, and friendly. He used his flashlight to quickly identify the problematic flapper and gave me instruction on how to replace the flapper myself by getting a new one from Home Depot. His visit was free of charge and he did not hesitate to help at all! I am very happy with Elite Rooter and will definitely use them in the future.

I contacted this plumbing company on a Saturday to check a problem I had on my faucet which had no hot water flow. I had called my usual plumbing/rooter company but they couldn't have anyone there earlier than a week away. Elite Rooter was able to send someone out the same day and gave me an hour window.

The service tech Mathew checked the faucet and the line under the sink and gave me his recommendation. Before he left Mathew asked when I had anyone check the lines under my house and suggested he just make sure that there was no damage to the faucet water line. Mathew leaned in the crawlspace and had his camera on and had me turn on the other faucets in the house. With camera running he had me turn off all the faucets and showed me the video. Imagine my surprise when he showed me the leaking pipes that had been dripping next to my foundation for quite some time.

Mathew called his Field Supervisor Gabe to have him swing by to verify the situation. Gabe went under the house and asked for the faucets to be turned on. He started a live video and showed us multiple pipe issues that could have totally flooded our foundation. Without going that extra step we would have had a serious situation on our hands, instead we scheduled an appointment for them to come and replace the galvanized pipe starting Monday. They were on time and very respectful of the property and the interior of the house. Very meticulous and clean work. The team was very helpful and gave us updates when applicable.

Elite Rooter is now our go to plumbing company for our needs and appreciate all their time and efforts to make our home safe. Thank you Mathew, Gabe and team!

I have a clogged toilet, called Elite Rooter, they respond pretty quickly, even though I was not able to schedule for the next morning's appointment, but they were able to come the day after. The technician was well prepared with a shoe cover, tools, mask. When he arrived, he is trying to suggest some possible root cause of the clogging. Once we agree on the work, he just go ahead and my toilet got unclogged very quickly. Then he cleaned up the place. Overall, I am pretty happy about the service. The only thing is that I was not aware of they have a $69 special deal while they just quote me $79 for such a simple unclogging service.

They left us in a bind even though they knew it was an emergency. I hired Elite Rooter to repair and upgrade our aging draining system under the house because of significant leak of sewage water. The company was very responsive and the estimate was competitive, towards the higher end. It was a larger and more complex project than what we anticipated, because some part of the sewer line was encased in cement, and the existing mix and match of pipe material and age was a mess.
The work happened on schedule and was completed with no surprise. The technicians were great and easy to work with.
A few months after completion, we discovered an additional leak at the junction of the new drains and an older pipe. The leak could be observed only when the washing machine was draining. A technician was dispatched quickly to repair it at no additional charge. I recommend this company and would hire them again.

So I stopped posting on Yelp a few years ago. Really didn't come across too many businesses worth reviewing. That is until I ran across Elite Rooter and an exceptional tech named Matt. We had an issue with the faucet leaking non stop, and I tried to replace it myself. I now realize why we pay people for their expertise... they're experts, we're not. Not only did Matt and Elite Rooter save me more aches and pains, cut up hands, water soaked floors... they replaced my faucet in a short amount of time. It certainly wasn't easy, but I'm sure they make all difficult tasks look simple. Should you have plumbing issues there really isn't anyone else to call but Elite Rooter. I had an emrgency - a flooded bathroom. Elite rooter responded to my request within 10min and gave me a decent estimate. 5 other companies took much longer to responded and they obviously did not read my message. Most of them proposed to send somebody to give an estimate. What kind of stimate you need for snaking a clog in the drain ??!
Elite rooter technician called next morning, gave me his ETA, came right on time and cleaned the clog.

What it started to be, we thought, was a simple toilet drain cleaning. After my husband's efforts of using the equipment he has didn't work, we knew it was time to call a plumber. We called Elite Rooter not knowing them but reading some of the previous reviews. They were here in a few hours and walked us through the entire process using their video camera and then, as the job progressed, showing us the pipes and the many roots that were clogging the entire line. After assuring us that all the other lines in the house were clean, Steven Johnson went through the process of taking the toilet, pipes and part of the floor apart to get down to the root of the problem...he installed new pipes, done correctly this time, and built up the concrete which had disintegrated, re-laid the tile (we had several pieces from a remodel) and replaced the toilet.

Yeah for Elite Rooter and a special thank you to Steven Johnson who was one of the most professional and knowledgeable plumbers I've met in quite a while.

Our toilet was clogged and was looking for somebody to fix the issue. I found Elite Rooter on Google and they promptly scheduled someone to come and take a look. It turned out we had to replace the whole drainage system since it was a old system. Richard and Gabe were very helpful and gave a quote. Richard was working on our project and was very detail oriented and meticulous in his work. He explained us in detail on the pipe system below in the crawl space. Also explained us the progress of the work through out the day since this was a 4 day project. His job was very clean and attention to detail was very good. We just found out we needed 60 ft of our main sewer line (crawl space) replaced due to leaking. While they were responsive... the supposed manager came out for a quote. We already had pictures of the damage so just needed a quote to make our decision quick. They showed up but failed to send us the quote so called them back hours later asking if quote was ready? The manager called me back and said it was $9,800+!!!! My husband called him back and asked what the breakdown was? He replied, there is no breakdown as we are not an hourly company. To which my husband said, I should get into the plumbing business. The manager replied, yeah you should it's really lucrative! This is about a 5 hour job to complete and under $500 for the material. So they are charging $9,300 for 5 hours of work? That's $1,860 PER HOUR for one guy! Insane... don't bother with this company, they are a rip off and proud of it. Instead reach out to Hector the owner of Pro Rooter at 510.381.2435 he has great service, honest and hardworking. He ran a camera, unclogged our sewer line and he charged a quarter of the price for the repair, confirming the job could be completed in half a day.

This was the best service ever.
We had a drainage issue in our bathtub. I sent a yelp request quote auto send. It sent to 4-5 random plumbing services. And immediately, the very next second, I got a message back with quote from Elite Rooters. They had a special running so it was the cheapest price available. I gave them a call and they sent a person in 30 mins. Elite rooters were faster than pizza delivery

Marcus Pecina was the technician that helped us. He was very, very professional, well dressed, respectful, calm, collected, prompt and knew all the answers. He also pointed out other areas in the bath that looked of concern and sent me estimates of same at the end of service without reminding. He was very clean, neat, organized and fast. Which is a big plus for me as I am a neat freak. You are lucky and well taken cars of if Marcus shows up.

All in all I called Elite Rooter at 10:50 am and by 12 noon I had all my plumbing problems fixed. I feel they may not be able to come and fix in half hour next time maybe i was just lucky but they were prompt in responding. Definitely Elite Rooter is a game changer, as they are at least responding back quickly, giving great discounts which is perfect for today's generation that's fast paced and want things at a click of a button.

FYI the other services have not yet responded to my quote request it's 1:30 pm now. Some were highly rated as 800+ reviews. It's sometimes not about the ratings you have.

Today I am talking on behalf of my grandmother.
Me and my family have been having issues with our toilet and just recently our toilet got clogged. The toilet was overflowing from my bedroom. Leaving the sewer water to leak from our ceiling. Guy shows up and snakes the drain, tells me the snake isn't able to clear it. And there's an extra service hydro-something that'll probably fix it but it's expensive and he's not allowed to quote that we have to wait for the supervisor to come by and he'll be over in about an hour.

So he backs the snake out and now on top of the drain being clogged there's a leak. I wouldn't blame him for the leak really, probably the joint was shot and anyone running a snake through could have broken it. But then like 5 min later the supervisor is on the phone telling me it's at least $2400 to fix the leak.

We parted ways at that point. I then went to HD, rented a snake and guess what, a snake actually DOES clear the drain. But for that to work you'd have to think of the snake as a plumbing tool, rather than as a sales tool.

I then fixed the leak by simply replacing the ABS TEE that had let go under the house for about $20 in parts and 2 hours of my time. That's with me making two trips to the corner hardware store, getting the wrong stuff the first time, etc... someone who does that every day and had parts on the truck could've done it in half that time. I'd have gladly paid someone two hours labor to do the job but $2400 no thank you.

Anyway, all good now, drain is smooth and no leaks. Normally I hate to rent tools but renting that heavy duty snake from HD was a game changer for me. Get the half inch one. That's a proper tool that got my job done remarkably quickly. Makes the snakes I have accumulated over the years look like the toys they are. I'll just go rent one of those again if another drain ever stops up.

I'd much rather find a local plumber I can work with, and I'm sure I will eventually but in the time I wasted goofing around with these guys I ended up doing it myself faster.

Our main water line burst- it was like the Mississippi River flowing out! Elite rooter came out right away to shut the water off and asses the situation- this happened late in the day, so Jonathan and James came back first thing in the AM to remove plants and dig out a huge area of dirt to get to the cause of the burst pipe! They ended up replacing the entire line. This was a huge job and they were very efficient and explained every step of the job! I highly recommend Jonathan and James as they were very polite and they cleaned up the entire area before they left- rinsed all the mud and dirt and put everything back as good as new!

Marcus did a great job. He came promptly (within an hour or so). Called and smartly waited outside while I finished up with another call I was on, and by doing so avoided what was potentially a problem interaction with our dog.

He was calm when the inevitable barking started, then got to work with his assistant after I put our dog in the car. The bathtub drain was unclogged in minutes, the suspect plastic toy extracted, and he even fixed the mechanism that stops and drains the water, which had also been completely useless. (thanks to a paper clip and his ingenuity).

David H is simply amazing. The first time I called the company for a drain by the side of our house due to downstairs bathroom was clogged. Dave was able to find out the problem came from the main pipe out by the street and should have been fixed by our homeowner association. I've had to call for sneaking services every other year for the last ten years and he was the one who NAILED the root issue. Our HOA finally fixed the main drain and I expect my drain will be trouble free for the next many years.

I had to call David again this past week due to kitchen drain clog. He was nice enough to give me next day time estimate by phone messages. Both him and me got busy the next day so we both decided to move to the next day. I got in touch and he was citing a timeframe in the afternoon though he was beyond the end of the window by about half an hour. He agreed to start performing the work in my backyard before I was able to get back home. He appeared very professional and explained things in detail. The drain was cleared out in less than 30 minutes and he explained the hypo wash to not have to clog pipes frequently again.

The most amazing things is that he decided to do the work FOR FREE due to schedule difficulties. To be honest I did not expect that at all. He was keeping good communication throughout, therefore the rescheduling wasn't a big issue at all. I am impressed by the ethics of this company and Dave. Very rarely people do things for free just because they caused small inconvenience to their customers. This shows they truly value their customer experience and they are in for the long term relationship with their clients. I have respect for the business and will recommend them to anyone in my family and friend circle. Highly recommended!!

WALK AWAY!!!!! They tell you the pipe is broken when it is not!!!

Most likely due to 3mo vacancy, the sewer in my house on Flannery St Santa Clara was clogged. I found Elite Rooter because they were the first to respond. They gave a very attractive price of $69 to snake my sewer. Albert came to the house at 8:00pm instead of the scheduled 4-6pm. He tried to snake my sewer for a while, then told me that he couldn't get it through, and to check what is wrong he needed to get their camera guy and they are now offering a discount for camera service at ONLY $189. The second day, the camera technician Giovanni came and put the camera in. shortly he told me I had a broken pipe. He offered me 3 options, hydro-jet for $2600, new clean out for $4600, and re-pipe the area for $8600!!! And he kept telling me if I don't take care of the problem NOW, the city is going to fine me. When I took the quote to 3 other companies, all the others quoted me way lower than the price from ER. So I picked 1 Honest Plumber (company name) to install a new clean out for $3000 compared to $4600 from ER. Less than an hour after 1HP arrived, he told me he snaked though my sewer, cleaned up all the sludges, and cameraed the sewer pipe that nothing is damaged or needed re-piping!!! Basically I paid ER to rip me off!!!

I should have known that some things are too good to be true. But I hope to share this story and you guys can learn from my bad experience.

Like the other reviewers here I got suckered by the $69 unclog special to try to unclog a sink drain. It's a simple standard kitchen sink nothing irregular about it. When the plumber arrived he said it's not included in the special since he needs to open the pipe to snake it and it will be $189. WHAT A BAIT AND SWITCH! I called another plumber and he said $115 for ALL clogs whether it's opening the main clean out or opening the pipes. Based on all the negative feedback from other customers, I have serious concerns about the integrity of this company. These guys give plumbers a bad name. Also, it seems like the plumber that was sent out was just starting out and it inexperienced to say the least. When a company goes down this path just to make more money, it will usually not end well.

So Kaitlyn set me up for $69 after I told her we needed to snake through the toilet since the house has no clean-out (according to my landlord).
Eddie arrived the next morning and told me total would be $325 if he had to do it from the toilet. I then reached out to Kaitlyn asking her why all of the sudden is $325, but she never responded. AND THIS IS WHY IT'S ONLY A 4 STAR REVIEW.

anyway Eddie then went around the house and told me there IS actually a clean-out so he will do it from outside and still only charge me $69. It took him an hour to fix the issue. Two weeks ago, I had Elite open a drain for us. The rep was on-time and got the drain opened in quick order. He had texted me before his arrival to make sure someone was there. After the work, he even checked the crawl-space to make sure there was no leak and the drain was working fine before taking off!

I had two other providers asking $175 and $220 for the SAME EXACT service Elite provides at $66 which I believe is their base price!!

Best part of service is that they invoice electronically and once you sign you get a receipt along with a limited time warranty for their repair! That would make life heck of a lot easier for keeping track of property repairs.

I recommend them and will only call them for future work.

Did an okay basic job, but charged me way more than originally quoted. The price the representative told me when making the appointment was $69 (I provided a complete and accurate description of the work that needed to be done, and no further work was done). The total bill came out to $590 (and this is after a 10% discount).

In their defense, they did tell me the price before proceeding with the work, and I agreed, because it needed to be done, but I would not use them again on grounds of their less-than-honest pricing practices.

After 2 days of light use, the kitchen drain clogged again. I asked the customer service if it's under warranty. She said yes and scheduled another visit. Then the technician came onsite and charged me $69 again. Yes, we paid.

I asked the customer service why it still charged me if it's under warranty. But she answered it's not warranted, then she ignored all my following messages.

Please note that the ONLY reason we would ask the technician from the same company (who didn't fix our problem) was the warranty.

The technician said this issue would come up and asked us to pay $1800 to fix.

No, please use a more professional device rather than a small snake at the first place, before asking your customer to pay something unreasonable.

Called them to unclog kitchen drain. The person still charged us 79$ without fixing the issue, and they said it's my pipe's problem and gave a 4K repair proposal. A rip off! On top of this, the person also did not fix the pipe back correctly so it started leaking when we inspected it after he left. Called them again to come back and fix it. I called a different company this morning and they unclogged it in 10 minutes flat and showed us the water from the kitchen which was draining just fine.

Long story short, I had to call out a different plumber who cleared my clog in minutes.

I used Elite twice. The first time, it was for a clogged main. As my house is older and I have no clean out, they snaked from the bathroom. They successfully cleared the clog but told me that I had damage at the end of my pipe. They offered to repair for about 4 thousand dollars. I didn't have the work done. They were nice enough to give me a 6 month warranty.
A year later I was clogged again. I called Elite back, I feel like because they knew my situation they didn't give it a good try. They snaked with no blade and didn't want to do much more. For 200 bucks they only got the drain to drain slowly and the pipe re-clogged not even a minute after they left. They had given me a one time come out 30 day warranty. I called them back right away but they were reluctant to come out and couldn't come back that day. I was told there was no point and my only option was to have the 4 thousand dollar repair.

I was forced to call a different plumber. He told me I had the option of a hydro blast. He went onto my roof and sent down his hydro blast and my house was clog free in a matter of minutes.

Not too sure about Elite Rooter any more.

We've been in construction and Real Estate for 40 years and have met a lot of plumbers. Pablo from Elite Rooter was fantastic and by far one of the very best we've ever worked with.
We had a difficult clog in an old sewer line with no clean-out available to access clogs. Pablo came in and did a great job! It was a challenge because the clog was under our new patio. But Pablo was able to install the new clean-out and repair the patio perfectly. (You can't tell the new clean-out wasn't installed as part of the original new patio construction).

He got here on time, was super professional, articulate and polite. He was very careful to keep his work areas clean, eventually found the clog in our sewer line using his camera and high tech GPS then made the repair while installing the new, much needed clean-out.
Pablo explained why the old line failed, how the clog originated and clearly communicated how the repairs would be made.
He also made sure the rest of our plumbing was working perfectly before he left. If you want the best, ask for Pablo and his project supervisor, Giovanni, at Elite Rooter.

Technician Luiz P. came to our place and quickly diagnosed that the toilet, bathroom sink, and shower were connected; our clog was in the main. Since that was the case, draino in the shower / sink solved the problem and there was $0 charge. If the problem was worse we'd have needed to remove the toilet to get the pipe snaked, which is rather expensive! Elite Rooter was the fastest to give us a quote, schedule an appointment, and diagnose the issue. Awesome service, they're our go-to plumber on the peninsula now!

In re pricing: $69 unclogging if you have cleanout access. Worth checking first if you do, because if you don't most services are more expensive (you have to remove the toilet, etc etc). But also I got other quotes and their pricing doesn't seem out of line. I'd be willing to pay more anyway for their excellent and professional service :)

First call, Easy! She took my call and booked our appointment right away. They came out fast and on time!! Can you believe that?! Major kudos already.

Alex, the young man that came out was very friendly, knowledgeable. Btw, our 1 year old daughter absolutely loved him!! :)

He attempted to snake our drain three different times but it unfortunately did not work. He called his drain specialist out. They took a look, went under the house to check out the pipes so they could assess and give us appropriate options to fix our problem. Very thorough, which I like. :) They provided us two quotes right away and we hired them! AND we will continue to use them going forward!

Simply put, they were great, you know those old school businesses that actually cared about helping there customers? This is that type of company, which is incredibly hard to find these days. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would.

Do not let the small number of yelp reviews scare you away people!! Call them!! Hire them!! You won't regret it.

Geovany from Elite Rooter was very knowledgeable and helpful. He came to our home to help fix the clogged sink in the kitchen. Within 2 minutes, he was able to identify the issue with our clogged kitchen sink and thoroughly explained the situation and what needs to be done. Kitchen sink was backing up badly. Standing water would take over 12 hours to fully go down. I imagine it was years and years of grease and other food items that accumulated.

I was feeling lazy and figured I call a plumber since they had a $69 special on their website. Arrived on time. First guy couldn't give a quote, so his supervisor came (apparently he was close by) to give a better idea on pricing. Seemed like a tag-team sales job though, with the second guy being a better salesman. Props - it was clever.

They said it couldn't be done because I live in a townhome where the pipes are designed with too many turns. Quoted me $425 to try to run a snake through it. If it was not successful, they'd still charge me.

Oh, and I was reminded that the $425 was just for the attempt to run the snake. Taking out the pipes and nuts underneath the sink may cause it to leak even more, which would be an additional charge to put back. I told them I'd think about it.

I went to Lowe's the next morning, bought some Teflon tape, and a 128 oz Instant Power drain cleaner. Totaled $29.

Followed directions and all works well now. I even have over 1/2 of the drain cleaner left.

Note: The first guy looked for the drain cleanout in my garage, which basically provides access to the main sewer line. He was unscrewing the heavy duty cap, opened it up, and concluded that there wasn't a problem there.

My only issue was that when he went to put it back on, he screwed it in only a few turns and walked away. It's like twisting the cap of a Coke bottle only a few turns and calling it good.

I asked him, yo, are you just going to leave it like that? He walked back to it and replied, okay, I'll close it all the way if you want me to. Come on dude, that's the main sewer line of my home.

They had to unhook my washer in order to get to the water heater and when they hooked it back up, they had switched the hot and cold hoses. Recently my shower and toilet were clogged and I called my usual plumber. It turned from $150 job to a potentially several thousand dollar job.

There was a bigger issue occurring that I was completing unaware. Apparently the water / sewer pipes under neath the house, which are some 60 years old, were significantly leaking!

In the last few months I got a new roof, house painted and a termite treatment. A lot of money at one time so when I heard I had to now replace some of my water pipes, I was not very happy.

But there is one thing I learned many years ago. It is better to face the reality of the situation early and as completely as I can, otherwise it will be more costly down the road and many more headaches!

But my usual plumber never showed me any photos or video of the issue and what I was dealing with but just a general description of the issue and how much is would cost. Before I decide to lay out that type of money, I want to fully understand what I am dealing with and will this truly resolve the issue or will this issue just keep demanding more money and time?

So I called several other plumbers to get a second opinion. They all wanted to charge me $100 - $150 to inspect the issue so they could provide an estimate except one ... Elite Rooter.

Without requesting it, they took a video of what was happening underneath my house and I was shocked at the level of damage and leakage that was occurring.

It was not even close to what my usual plumber told me!

But not Elite Rooter. Giovanni and David told the whole picture and supported with a video and strongly recommend I replace all the water pipes underneath the house. Based on the age of pipes, if not now, it would occur to the water & sewer pipes in the kitchen and laundry area. They would be willing to deduct a proportion of the cost if I didn't want them done but he did not recommend it.

They also had several financing plans, one being 18 months with no interest, which lessen the blow.

I always want to deal with people / companies who are very competent, honest to a fault, thorough and thoughtful in how best to serve a customer's challenges. We have too many challenges as it is and too little time to address them.

This is why it is so valuable to have a painter, like Elite Rooter, to meet the challenges of being a home owner!

I don't know if this is an isolated incident but their guys came over to look into a kitchen sink 's problem , gave us a really outrageous estimate around 2.5K for a fix and 7K for replacing the pipe. It got someone else to fix it for $200.
Can not trust this company with personnels like that, period.

Toilet clogged and put out an ask for a quote through Yelp. They got back to me very quickly and got me an appointment the same day. They gave me a window of 2pm to 4pm for a technician to come by. Jorge arrived right at 2pm and did an initial assessment. He was very straightforward with primary and secondary courses of action as well as the pricing. He got in, took care of the issue and and cleaned up. Quick and hassle free work. If we have any other plumbing needs, we're going with Elite Rooter.

Most people don't schedule their need for a plumber. Had a slow kitchen sink and determined that it was beyond my skill level. Used Yelp to find someone and Yelp recommended their new find a plumber quoting system. One plumber kindly responded that they were booked up. One sent me four form letters, and Elite Rooter sent me their $69 special and said they could schedule at my convenience. I told them my schedule and gave my phone number. They gave a time (3-5pm same day) and said they would call me when they were on the way. I confirmed that I would have someone at the house at that time. It has been ten days. My mother-in-law is upset with me. She hasn't left the house. She is still waiting for Elite Rooter. She lights a candle during the hours of 3-5 pm every day. I caught her pacing in the morning at 3-5, and she told me maybe they had meant AM. Alas, I had to explain to her that I didn't think Elite Rooter would be showing up. She is from the Old Country. She argued with me, saying that it was in no way elite to do things like this to old people. I agreed.

Marcus and Marcus showed up on time and was extremely professional in every question I had and also educated me significantly on parts of the plumbing in my home and what to watch out for moving forward. This duo was amazing in working and diagnosing the plug issue I had and even brought me out to the street side sewer access to ensure I truly understand the path of plumbing for my home. I couldn't ask for a better technician to come to my door to fix the problem I had at the home. It was a simple fix it turned out but Marcus never once were unwilling to provide more in knowledge and help. He even offered a crawlspace inspection to make sure that the work done on the pipes wasn't damaging etc.. Kudos, 5 stars, and thank you to the Elite Rooter team. My boyfriend called Elite Rooter because we had a broken kitchen sink, we tried everything from a super plunger to a snake, and nothing worked. Elite Rooter was so fast with their response and gave us a time range from 12pm-1pm and came on time! Giovanni helped us out and he told us exactly what could be wrong, and somehow managed to clean out the big amount of gunk we had sitting inside the main pipe. Not so soon after they had it fixed and working and we couldn't be happier! Thank you guys for being so efficient! and the price was perfect! Fantastic experience! We had a very complex plumbing situation and Eric and Alex showed up ready to fix the problem!! They spent hours working and trouble shooting. As a property manager, I was looking to find a solid default plumbing company whenever I had an issue at one of my properties.
I called them, they came out, they snaked the drains successfully.
One business day later, they threatened me with sending me to collections after service was completed! I noticed other reviews saying the same thing.
I will not be doing business or referring this company to anyone, there are better companies I would choose that deals in more professionalism.

Needed emergency plumbing work done and 1 day and $13k later we could flush our toilets again! Yay! The city inspectors showed up randomly at our home on a Saturday but Elite Rooter wasn't aware they were coming and our inspection was cancelled. The 9ft holes in our front yard are still here, waiting for inspection three weeks later and I haven't heard from the company at all. Impressed with their work and timeline but not impressed with their follow through to fill these holes!

I have used Elite Rooter several times in the past with decent results. However, today they sent out a team to check a leaky toilet and a clogged dishwasher. $600 later, the dishwasher is still clogged, the air gap is newly bent, and it is now leaking under the sink - which wasn't happening before either. They made it WORSE. In addition, they tried to scam me into paying $4400 to fix a leak that another plumber was able to fix for $200. I would NEVER EVER use this group again. When I texted their boss (who had called me very concerned earlier because I was declining their services) to let them know about the difference, he blocked my number. BEWARE THIS COMPANY. THEY MAY SEEM NICE, BUT ARE NOT HONEST AT ALL.

We suffered a sewage backup, which was mostly clear water. But some sewage, nonetheless. The county told us to put fixing the seals of our toilets that were affected on the back burner of my todo list, since they stopped leaking in the house. That it could wait 6 months or more. That if the water was cleaned up I had NOTHING to worry about. I NEVER had this problem before, but thought that water coming from under the multiple toilets, and coming in through showers (some sewage) could mean water, or worse, damage under the house, and that minimally I needed a plumber who might let me know.
I chose Elite Rooter based on it's GREAT Yelp reputation. I was not disappointed! Matt came out. He arrived to our house, which is going through major changes. I wasn't ready for ANY visitor's. He was able to come in, fix everything, check our sewer line with a camera (so we knew that it wasn't our pipe line, but the city's, that was the issue.
The work went much faster than I imagined, and Matt explained other things we can, and NEED to do (a sewage backup always requires a check for water damage, plus the clear water that comes back in the house is NOT clean). He gave me a referral for cleanup (much more extensive than the plumbing!). I appreciate how transparent he was with what was needed, the cost, what we can do to avoid other backups. I will definitely call for future plumbing issues!! Matt told me everything he was doing, and why. I learned a lot about previous work in my house, thanks to him! I feel confident that I won't be taken advantage of for things that DON'T need to be done and recommend Elite plumbing, and Matt, to anyone who needs plumbing service!! Don't hesitate!! They are GREAT!

I have never done any reviews in the pass. This time I felt like I needed to let everyone know about how good Matt did for me. My kitchen sink was overflowing.
On 1/22/20200@1pm, I met with Matt at my house.
At my lunch time. Matt worked diligently and efficiently. He started to covered the area in my kitchen and immediately he started to using his snakes to clean out my pipes underneath the sink.
It wasn't going though the first time but he just kept on trying until the pipe were cleared at last.

From the initial communication with this company it was a 5 star service. My point of contact was Gabe who was absolutely outstanding.
This was a very unexpected and complicated problem that we had to deal with for our tenants.
From the beginning he walked us through the process and provided all the options with factual information so that we could make the right decision for our tenants. Gabe was also aware and caring for out tenants.
He worked with his team and myself in detail and was available around the clock for any concerns, questions that I had.
He worked with the City of Los Altos flawlessly and all the work was approved in a timely manner.

these guys came out to service a drain at one of our rental properties on a Saturday... after clearing the drain and running a camera for $275, they offered three solutions to replace or repair the drain ranging from $7,444 to an outrageous $25,208! i was then bombarded with phone call after phone call, and left numerous voice messages to explain options. one call and one voicemail would have been sufficient.

2 days later - monday afternoon, i was threatened with collections because they hadn't received their check yet (which was put out morning of the first business day following the repair).

while the technicians were in fact able to clear the line, their phone habits are obnoxious, office staff threatening, and prices out of control.

I had an issue with our clean out line backing up. Booked an appointment online... got confirmation and my Technican Eddie arrived on time. After attempting several times to snake the sewer line he called one of his team members who brought out a camera to inspect the line. They showed me that the line was broken in several places and needed replacement. They began the work right away and brought in a couple of other technicians to assist. They keep me informed through the process and finished the big job in a couple of days. Spend a lot of time cleaning up and getting the yard back in shape. I highly recommend Elite Rooter....very professional team!

The scheduling lady was efficient and gave me the choices I needed.
Salvador came and cleaned out the kitchen drain pipe. He knows his business and got the job done quickly. The price was right too.

I don't know about larger jobs but they did well by me. I recommend them.

Elite Rooter was extremely responsive, they arrived within an hour from when I called in to have someone come down. We normally never have any problems but the kitchen sink was clogged and we needed someone to fix it. Everything was working properly after he left. Which was way better than the last plumber that came out.

I want to give our plumber, Matt Sanchez, a shout out for being wonderful. He was super nice and friendly, seemed extremely happy with his job, and was quite informative. He taught me things that I didn't know such as how to take care of the disposal and the likes. I was really worried about calling someone over with the virus going around however he did everything possible to make sure we were safe. He was highly professional and helpful. And because of how great he was I'mma call Elite Rooter for any plumber issues.

I called Elite Rooter about my shower handle being broken and they sent out a plumber to give me an estimate. He opens up the handle area and looked inside and wasn't sure about the pipe so he called in to his supervisor and told me that he had to come over to see it. I waited another 45 minutes for him to show up only for him to tell me that the handle couldn't be replaced and that they would have to cut a hole on the other side of the wall and replace the piping. He gave me a quote of $2,450 to do the work.I declined and called another plumber. The work was done foe $225. This company is trying to rip you off and I will never call them again!

My need was essentially preventive maintenance. The plumbers who would have been on the top of my list to call had long since retired.

So based on their flat rate AD, I took a chance on EliteRooter. They scheduled a tech to come out the same afternoon. Matt Sanchez was assigned to our job. He called ahead to confirm what we wanted him to do and said he would pick up the right tools and be on his way. Though he arrived within the prescribed time interval, he apologized profusely for being in the latter half of the two hour window.

Unlike most handymen, Matt demonstrated a very refreshing attitude about being very positive about doing the job, doing the job right, and doing what was in the best interest of the customer. Before getting started he re confirmed what we wanted done and why. He then explained the pros and cons of what we had in mind and also confirmed the flat rate pricing per drain cleaning.

While doing the work he exuded confidence and it was very apparent that he knew exactly what he was doing and explained why as he progressed. He was meticulous about cleaning up after he was done and was up front about what was worth pursuing and what would be money down the drain, pun intended.

Bottom line, we have found a plumber that we would definitely call should the need arise and is young enough to probably not retire in the foreseeable future.

What started as blocked drains in both bathroom sinks turned into replacement of our 59 year old cast iron pipe sewer system. I have done repairs of our sewer system over our 38 years in this home but I am just to old to crawl under the house anymore. I tried my trusty snake to clear the blockage but had no luck. Erik Zavala came to the house and attempted to clear the blockage but had no luck. He eventually found the blockage by removing a section of the sewer line but could not get a good cut into the old cast iron without it crumbling. At that point I made the decision to replace all the cast iron up to the foundation out the the front yard. Erik and his helper spent two full days under the house replacing all the cast iron. We had toilets except for a few hours over the 2.5 days of work. They put down paper on all floors and were very careful. Erik over communicated the process so we could go on with our day during the system replacement.

Had a clogged kitchen drain and did a yelp search and came across Elite and was lured in by the $69 clogged drain advertisement so I scheduled my appointment and after the technician came by and looked at my drain he said the $69 is only for drains that have an outside access and in my case he had to go under the sink and take apart a pipe to clear the drain. Wound up paying over $300 but didn't have time to shop around and get a 2nd quote to confirm this was a reasonable price so I just bit the bullet and they got the job done.

I had a good experience with Elite Rooter. They replied to my request very fast, and scheduled the appointment on the same day. Salvador arrived on time and provided the service for $69. After fixing the clog, he felt the sewer pipe still have some problem and called Gabriel to come for an inspection using the camera. I didn't wait long for the inspection. Gabriel explained the situation and provided multiple options for follow-up. I'm pretty satisfied with their speed to resolve the problem!

I had a clogged laundry sink drain because I made the mistake of rinsing out a mortar mixing bucket in it.

I got a quote for $69 and Pablo came over the next morning. It turned out to be a stubborn clog and Pablo spent about 2 hours trying various things and it was clear he was very experienced and knowledgeable.

I called them in the morning and was glad to hear that they would come to my house in a couple of hours. Memo Leon was my technician assigned. He was very professional. He performed a thorough inspection before giving me an estimate. The cost is very affordable and fair. My shower drains were cleared efficiently. Clogged drain line from shower/laundry on a Sunday. I'm pretty familiar with the drain lines of the house so knew exactly where the clog was and how to access it.

Submitted the problem through Yelp and Yelp sent to 4 different companies. Elite rooter came back with the best quote by quite a bit for basic drain line snaking with a cleanout ($69 vs $110 or $253). They also came back with the fastest reply, with available appointments the next day, monday 9-11. The quote did have preconditions of only a single line cleared through a cleanout port. This was exactly what i needed. (final invoice for the $69 service specified a 3/8 cable up to 75' long). My clog was only 6' straight shot from the cleanout, but he ran a little more and confirmed the downstream line was clear.

Matt showed up exactly within the window at 10:30. Looked in the shower and laundry room, and I showed some pictures I had taken under the house. Was able to get the tight cap off the cleanout which had probably been sealed for 40 years. Snaked the line (motorized), found the clogged exactly where I expected it to be, and cleared it within 20 mins from first arriving. He recommended a camera inspection and/or water pressure clean, but I declined both and he wasn't overly pushy on the upsell. So the final charge was exactly the quoted price and exactly the service I needed.

Would definitely call again for the basic, 1 line snake service thru cleanout. Thanks, Matt and Elite Rooter.

I made a last minute call to Elite rooter when another plumber I was going to have fix our shower drain quoted a very high price. Elite Rooter had a coupon on their website and was able to come out to the house within the hour. Pablo was the technician and he knows his craft! He informed me I could not use the coupon due to the complexity of the clog and that was fine as we live in an old house and things work differently in these types of homes. He managed to clear the clog and now our shower drains which makes me very happy. I would definitely hire Elite Rooter again for our plumbing needs.

My experience with Elite Rooter was so amazing. We reached out to have them provide a quote for unclogging our bathroom sink. Their quote was very competitive, much cheaper than any of the other companies. They offered a same day appointment and were extremely flexible when our plans changed. Watch out for these crooks. Their $69 offer is just a trick to get you to have their technician come over to your house. As long as they have to enter your house and open up your pipe, which is pretty standard they are going to charge you almost $400. That's a huge difference just to do something so standard. Don't be fooled by their low offer. They just want to catch you in a difficult situation and take advantage.

Thank you Elite Rooter Friday morning woke up to back upped sink in the garage. Called Elite Christina spoke with me told me should could have somebody out to my house in a 2 hour window which was great. Brian the tech called me with in 20 minutes was out my house with in the hour. Brian came snaked the sink at let me say at a very reasonable price. I wish I had 0 starts option. I had scheduled them to come over at 1pm, and called them at 10:30 AM to check if everything was ok, and I am available earlier too if they can visit. They said I am on schedule for 1pm, and if they finish early they will call and come early.
Then happens 12:30, 1pm, and I give them a call to check on status, Nop, no response. no one picks my calls.
I made at-least 10+ calls between 1 to 2:30, and they never picked up, and voicemail was also full. so I am not going to ask Elite Rooter ever again.

My kitchen sink got clogged, and I called Elite Rooter. An hour later, Pablo and Jorge showed up.

Man, what a great experience.

To give some background of the issue, the kitchen sink clogged a couple days ago, I got a plumber came, spent a lot of time, and did not fix the problem. Two days later, the kitchen sink clogged again. This time I did not call the previous plumber for warranty service, since I do not trust them to be able to really fix the problem. Instead I called Elite Rooter based on google search (they run ads on google)

Pablo and Jorge explained to me with their plan, then started work on it, and they nailed it! It is really impressive how professional they are. what's more, Pablo helped me to fix some other issues on my up stair bathroom without additional charge. How nice.

I am really happy with their service. I am glad I found someone I can depend on.

Matt and Sal arrived on time (they were able to fit us in on the same morning we called!) and were incredibly professional and conscientous. From covering their shoes each time they entered the house to taping off the floors and walls in the inspection/work area they worked carefully and quickly. I would give them 0 starts if i had option to, really bad service and unprofessional employees , they don't know how to talk to customers. So what happened was i called them to get my toilets unclogged, first thing i told him was that we have a baby at home and we think she might have thrown something in the toilet that got stuck somewhere, he said its fine he will run the snake thing and it will fix it, i said yea sure do whatever you gotta do. So he REMOVED the toilet seat and ran the snake in the pipe and he said its clean and he put the seat back on. And when he was done i try to flush the toilet and toilet was still clogged! I was like what? Then he said oh something might be stuck in the actual seat i have to REMOVE (he just removed it and put it back on 5 minutes ago) the seat again and it will cost extra. I was like what? Why? You just had the seat removed you should have checked it first place? And I disagreed i said the main reason i called you was the get the toilets unclogged idc what you do or how you do it. He said its not part of the deal, i said deal was to get my toilets back running thats all. Then he started arguing with me and talking on my face like he wants to fight. Then i told him to leave my house. I even have recorded a video of him. So please avoid this company.

After the first plumber said he doesn't do that kind of plumbing work. I went back to Yelp to request four more quotes. Elite Rooter was the first to respond. I ended up with what I would call three jobs all in the kitchen. Garbage disposal replaced, replacement of galvanized water pipes to copper, and prep for new dishwasher. Martin came out, quoted the job, and finished the repairs the next day in less time than originally estimated. 3 hours instead of 5. Also found out that I have electrical that isn't up to code so he also found an electrician for me.

Fast, clean, courteous and nicely done. Regarding cost....great value for the price. Quote came out to be what I expected. I will be calling them again! Hopefully not too soon.....fingers-crossed.

I got another quote to install a gas line for my range. The estimate was for installing a T connection from the existing water heater to the new range which will approximately 1.5 foot away from garage (water heater) to the kitchen (proposed range).

Other companies in fact suggested to install a dedicated gas line. The total estimate includes the permit.

Elite did not suggest a dedicated line and did not talk about permit but the estimate was 5 times higher than other company. Elite person did a gas leak test then said there is a gas leak. At last he said i cannot refit the gas line he opened unless the leak is fixed, very tricky :)

No honest estimate, did not offer better suggestion, unrealistic price.

Had a major issue with water dripping from the ceiling. Previous company could not figure out the problem after spending 2 hours of my time and after cutting a 3 by 3 feet square opening in the ceiling. I had a very good experience with Elite Rooter today with Albert. I think they have good price and great professional service.

I called Elite Rooter in the morning for the kitchen sink clog problem. Elite Rooter answered right away with a life person and she set up an appointment for the same day.

Albert arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule (he rang the door bell that was connected through Ring so I could see him rang our door bell and talked to him while I was in the restaurant). I asked if he could wait for me since I was tied up. Albert waited for me to arrive home for about 20 minutes (I was late). And he was cool with that. And Albert was very pleasant and evaluated the job quickly and offered a very reasonable price that I accepted. And Albert wear protected shoe cover to protect our hardwood floor. And he completed the job fast. He checked for functions and leaks and then clean up the area. He right away sent the email receipt that described the issues he found, what he did and recommendation and include the warranty.

I'm one of those people who automatically is skeptical of everyone until they prove me otherwise & am even more so when it comes to work being done on our house, BUT Elite Rooter is the first & only home improvement company I've come across which is actually honest AND skilled. Giovanni and Matt really sealed the deal - they're up-front about everything, kind, and sympathetic to our problems. My experience with Elite actually began during their work for my employer - she holds a Ph.D. in psychology & organizational education AND is one of the original NLP (neuro-linguistic PSYCHOLOGY, as she shes) experts, so the fact that she trusts them should speak well of their integrity, honesty, and all-around demeanor.
Anyways...
We had a pre-existing plumbing problem due to a horrific experience with a different plumbing company last year...throughout the past year, the problem presented itself as simply an annoyance so we let it go - it simply wasn't worth having to even *possibly* go through another ordeal like that ever again... BUT, having found Elite Rooter to be not only capable, but trustworthy, we gave them a call and were set to have them come in after the holidays...plus, what was previously a small, slowly growing crack had just begun to grow in size at an expeditious rate (a couple of weeks)... Fast track a few days (a few days before Christmas) and CRASH...Puppies, bad! (thought it was my dogs playing around). I get up to take a shower, turn into the bathroom door and literally jump back - our celing and part of the wall is all over the floor and bathtub.
We immediately call Elite & Giovanni, bless his soul, cancels his plans to come check it out. Surprise, surprise - that leak from the bathroom directly above this one - the one RH claimed to have fixed by replacing the sewer line (yea, didn't really understand that one either)? Yea, that leak finally reared it's ugly head.
THANK GOD this didn't happen before meeting Matt & Giovanni!
Fast forward one week (Elite began work the next day, but we had to put the rest of the work off a few days due to family arriving for the holidays) & everything is fixed! Not only were we able to see what was done, but Giovanni provided photos documenting the work before AND after - we never got either from RH...AND my brother (an engineer for one of the Bay Area's largest construction companies) even praised their work...he also made a statement about wondering how the other company could have fixed the leak without any holes in the walls...well, now we know.

Elite Rooter: thank you, again, for all of your assistance and understanding in regards to both the project at our home and at my office building. Genie, my family, and I will be recommending you to EVERYONE we know

I called Elite to help with a clogged shower drain problem which they readily resolved at a reasonable price that was half or even less than what three other plumbers wanted to charge. Unlike the others Elite was straightforward with their pricing and responsive on a timely basis. None of the other plumbers I spoke with could give me a quote over the phone for a simple shower drain clogged service. When another plumber showed up to take on the task they couldn't even give me a straightforward price. Plumbers are notorious for charging whatever they think they can get once on-site and their price will vary based on the neighborhood and what they think they can get away with. Kudos to Elite for being so transparent and ethical. And a big thanks to Matthew who went above and beyond. I will certainly use them for all my plumbing needs going forward.

I seldom write reviews. I see people had less than ideal experience with the $69 special service here, so I want to share mine, as a proof that it can work out well, better than my expectation. I have roots in sewer, and I understand the problem well, before the cleanouts are opened. Kaitlyn helped to setup appointment fast. Pablo came and evaluated and solved the clog with snake. Pablo also proposed more comprehensive and permanent solution for my sewer and gave me good explanation, it's very reasonable, Pablo also offered to check the sewer damage with camera, for free, but I had other plan for it before all this. Also Pablo's colleague came and double check the situation. Both of them wear face masks for the pandemic, It's all professional. I'm happy with the result, not to mentioned that this work worth certainly more than the price charged.

DO NOT LET THIS KIND OF COMPANY IN BUSINESS!!!

I called them just for snake the sewer due to the clog in sewer line. It took him at least 20 min to clear the line. Then they will start selling you for the camera inspection with credit toward more work if there's any issue in the sewer pipe. I'm okay with the camera inspection since they will charge me total of $189 for snake and inspection. The next day, 2 guys came and put camera in the line, pushed fairly quick and he said he saw pipe offset which will create backup soon (days) to scare you. He recommended to just install the city cleanout ($4,600) and told that the sewer line is not needed to be replaced (which is another $4,000). It was my fault to fall into his words, with discount, with credit etc. I agreed to contract them to do the city cleanout installation. Next day, not sure when, they started digging. They used shovel and jack hammer as tools for digging 5-6ft wide by 6 ft deep and end up breaking the existing sewer line around 7pm. I got home around 6pm and saw 4-5 crew members looking worried then I felt that something is not right. They brought up the pipe to show me that it's corrode and would not recommend to leave it like this. The connector will not hold the new section or the pipe will not withstand the torque and pressure from the connector, create more problems down the road etc. They want another $4,000 to replace the pipe. At this point, I NO longer trust them, as any other people should, and I look for other professionals for opinion and quotes. They ended up the night by just laying down ABS pipe 3-4ft long as the temporary line, no connector of anything.

In the morning, I checked around and got quotes from multiple companies. I asked them to stop any work and would like to pay for labor cost for a day of digging and permit. They want $3,000 and non-negotiable.

Lessons I learned
- They used in-expensive service (snake) as bait. If you just need that, they're okay
- Do not fall for their special discount, it doesn't exist
- If they have experience or be honest to customer, they should have told me at the beginning that the pipe is in bad shape and need to be replaced. I think they know but they just tried to be nice to help save money on what only need.
- They have steps like snake = pipe leak/tree root = camera inspection (will be credited) = pipe offset = will backup soon = need cleanout installation = start work = found more problems = need new sewer line = end up will be paying ~$3,000 more than other companies
- Beware that they might start work the next morning without any call to city to survey the area before. You might not be lucky like me that they didn't hit the gas line.

This is my honest review from my experience. They didn't push me or force me that I need to do all these. But they use tactic like discount/credit toward next work, or put you in situation that you feel miserable and want to get thing done with them.

Beware if you have old house with old sewer line. They will definitely tell you the same story like I just experienced above. In fact, this is similar to other reviewer.

My experience with Elite Rooter was fantastic. My pipes were 70 years old and I had gotten tired of toilets not fully flushing and sinks backing up. This started with a simple clogged drain that seems to re-occur on one side of my house every year or so. They took care of it and recommended re-grading the line and fixing a few 'bad practice' modifications that were implemented without permit.

Their quote was totally fair and probably in the middle between high priced and fly-by-night. Their service is what led me to choose them. They were prompt, they covered their shoes when entering the property, they updated me with their ETAs via text message, they kept us informed of every step in the re-work, they showed me the issues with a sewer camera.

Everything they recommended was resolved in a bit more than one day of two crews working under the house.

Couldn't be happier with the service, responsiveness, and care that this team showed.

If you need a simple drain cleared, they are the best (price, service, timeliness). If you need more then that, please also consider them. You won't be disappointed.

My first experience with Elite Rooter was excellent. The drain of my kitchen sink was slow again. I had to snake it 3 times in the last 2 years, with the most recent one only 4 months ago (I snaked it myself that time). So I search for a plumber and saw Elite's promotion.

Booking was easy and I got a spot the next day. The technicians (Martin and Fernando) was very courteous and professional. They called me 15 minutes before arrival within the booked time window. Once they are onsite, they did a quick assessment, and explained what they are going to do. Martin also confirmed that I am eligible for the promotion without me asking.

Even though it was a routine cable snake, they felt strong resistance at a tough spot. Instead of forcing the cable through, they were cautious and patient. They even asked access to the crawl space so that one person can go down, check things and monitor the progress. And they brought shoe cover!!!

Overall, the working team was competent with top notch customer service, which is a very rate combination. Kudos to a well run business.

I had Elite Rooter come to my house last week to unclog my kitchen sink. I called in the morning around 7:00. The person on the phone said they could have someone there between 9-11. I asked that the technician text or call before he arrived. I received a call right about 8:45, and Edgar arrived promptly at 9:00. Edgar was extremely professional and handled the sink with ease. He was able to do the entire job start to finish in about 20 minutes. Sink is working great!

I had a water heater in the attic that leaked water in the evening. It cost me $3100 to remove old one and install new water heater. I asked how much for the water heater, the said $500. ( it was a tiny one )
After installation, the rooter guy had to come back 4 times (separate days) to actually have hot water coming out of the sink without any leaks. 4 times!

I texted and got my quote quickly and on the same day they stop by to give me a more accurate estimate and see what needs to be done. They next day appointment I received a text that Alex was on his way( even though he had a window from 9 to 10). What I really appreciated was the friendly attitude given by the technician. It is rare now days for people to live up to customer service. Much appreciated! My shower leak has stopped and I believe it was a fair price. I called the company to fix the main pipe with slow drain , they told me to unclogging with drain clean out is only $69. However, when the technician came, he said he could not clean the pipe because the pipe is damaged. He asked me to pay another $225 to do video diagnosis. I told him to repairing the pipe is a big project and wish him to unclog the pipe temporarily. He said he could not unclog it and ask me to pay $69. I told him if he leaves without unclogging it then I cannot pay him. So he used water pressure from the hose and the pipe was unclogged immediately. He also refused us the standard 30 day warranty offered by the company because he said the pipe is damaged without doing any type of confirmation.Before he left, he even told me and I quote, never call my company again. Which is the ridiculous thing I ever heard after dealing with many contractors and plumbers for years. A very bad experience with this company.

On 9/27/2019, Martin, Joe and another technician from Elite Rooter came to conduct a camera inspection of the main sewer and kitchen drain lines; the resulting videos were recorded on a USB Flash drive.
The video quality is quite poor, as it displays a lot of jerkiness along with bad focus and artifacts. Most likely, that is due to the technician feeding the camera too fast inside the drain lines; he was mainly looking for a clog, rather than evaluating the internal condition of the galvanized piping (a necessary step before proceeding with any hydro-jet cleaning).
The main line video revealed a few roots remaining at the couplings (most of them were cut the prior week), but they were not hindering the flow of waste. However, downstream somewhere near the sidewalk or curb, the camera got submerged in water and could not be fed any further towards the City Sewer. Elite Rooter then concluded that the lateral was severely offset, and recommended an immediate repair in order to prevent an imminent sewage back up into the house. Repair of the so-called pipe offset would cost about $9K, which I declined, as no sign or symptom of main line blockage was evident.

Update on 11/1/2019: more than a month later, every plumbing apparatus in the house is still draining properly; no sign of sewage back up or spill whatsoever. This fact implies that, in all likelihood, Elite Rooter's camera was stopped by the house trap connection in the lateral, and not by a badly offset pipe. Therefore, Elite Rooter's hasty recommendation to urgently repair the so-called lateral offset needs to be re-evaluated in short order. Root intrusion is also an issue that will need to be corrected, but does not require immediate replacement of the lateral.
The $250 charge for inspecting the lines with a camera would be a fair price, provided that the resulting video could be viewed clearly with good amount of details. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Also, this price does not include locating the exact physical location(s) of the problem areas as alluded in the work order.

Conclusion: 3 stars were taken off because of incorrect invoice date, ambiguous work description, poor workmanship coupled with questionable advice, and failure to return the borrowed ladder to its original location.

Got a kitchen clog in the morning, called Elite Rooter to schedule a same day $69 appoint between 1 to 3 pm. Matt showed up at 12:30 pm and told me it was the garbage disposal. He explained my options of having the disposal reset or a new replacement and suggests I tried re-setting it first. That worked, and my kitchen drains again, all down within 30 minutes. Matt was very courteous and explained everything very clearly.

This company worked on my rental property in October 2019. I was reminded of them again today when a neighbor was looking for recommendations for plumbers. I told that to contact Eddie from #1 Honest Plumber and whatever they do, never go with Elite Rooters. I am still pissed enough to write a review about them. Like many other reviews describe, Elite Rooters is a typical scam operation, they come in with a low ball quote and then up charge by scaring and scamming customers. They opened up my toilet and then refused to snake unless I paid astronomically more. They also took my tenants aside and scared them by falsely telling them that the pipes below the house were broken and sewage was accumulating underneath. There whole intention was to scam....they had to snake the toilet, there was no reason to get into the crawl space without permission. They also produced a photo of a broken pipe in the crawl space. Thankfully I kept my cool, resisted the panic and called Eddie from #1 Honest Plumber. Not only did Eddie clear the block in no time, he also went into the crawl space to look for the broken pipe and came out with a piece of pipe that was left over from a prior remodel and was not connected to anything. You have been warned, stay alway from the crooks at Elite Rooter.

Excellent service! I was so impressed how plumbers found out the problem fast and fixed it. Luis and Carlos came over to see my leaking pipe, which was proved to be because something was stuck in it. We had a kitchen clogged up and use Elite Rooter since the website claimed if the drain is not opened, it would not be charged. Edgar came and only opened main drain cleanout plug without open the drain. Then, he asked to pay $69 and mentioned to use hydro jetting service. But, before that, he asked to pay $140 for inspection of hydro jetting service. I had to call other plumbing service company and had done the same 75 feet drain opened service and was able to open the drain. The $69 was a ripped off from the service of this company.

I called with a clogged pipe and had someone out within one day. Very professional. Everything from the notice they send you that your technician is on his way (with a picture ) to entering your house with booties and respecting your property, these guys are the best plumbers I have had to work with. They used a camera to locate my problem, returned a second day at no charge to help remedy my problem and were very helpful. Great Customer service, would use again.

Really? Im about to review a plumber? Yes!!! We rent a house in Santa Clara and have had issues with our plumbing for a while. The landlord called and got a quote to come out and snake the toilet, yada, yada, yada. All typical stuff. But here is the deal, Martin Rodriguez was the guy they sent out, an after I called to get on the books. He called to be sure I knew he was on his way. He showed up with a mask, gloves, and shoe booties. He was super nice and even though my landlord got a quote that was way lower than he should have gotten, they honored that price. AMAZING! He went above and beyond to be sure that we were taken care of and that we were satisfied with the result. At one point, he had his supervisor come out (also super awesome!) for a second opinion. He got here so quickly! They were not rushed, they didn't make us feel like we were wasting their time and the job got done!!! They even spoke to our landlord. Seriously, need a plumber? call these guys. I know I will be using them again.

They will not deliver per their commitment to show up on time. Then, when they ask that you wait longer, and you make the slightest complaint, they will refuse to come at all.... thus one is stuck waiting / wasting another day with these clowns.

Well, not sure where to start.

Service: Should be considered as good as other reviews.

However not in my case. I just want folks to be aware.

1. Tech who did the job - does not know what he is talking about, should have cared to listen, seek, and find the problem. Rather jump right into offering to snake the drainage system.

2. I called the manager for more than 4 occasions with no response to my request. When I mentioned I paid $389 for a service that I really should not have received. Also, to consider I moved the heavy dryer all the way for the tech to see and suggest unnecessary intervention. After the system was snaked and found no resistance or blockage. I discovered it was the laundry washer unit's top section that was spewing out the water and causing the water to slide from the top of the washer to floor and causing the flooding.

My request was that I agreed to the service, but gave the background as to what I did to find my own problem and if they could consider the amount I paid to them and be considered.

Well, what should I make of it? No response...

My check of $389 was debited in full.

Of course, I am not happy and unsatisfied left with a feeling. I was ripped. That is not a feeling I would like to give CUSTOMER when they REPORTED; I am feeling I got ripped.

Additional details: I called the appliance repair first, suggested I rule out the problem by calling a plumber service. Elite rooter tech after their visit first should have taken the effort, using their basic skills to doubt this is not a drainage block. My opinion that they should have suggested this not a drainage problem even without snaking (if I had tarried a little longer, I would found the issue without snaking. Again it was my bad and as a lesson learned). The tech who did not want to move the dryer to see the wall behind. I moved the dryer, there was no sign of water leaking out of the drain located behind the washer. Suggested a $399 service. Me being desperate to have it fixed agreed. Of course, my fault wanted to get it fixed and not have the floor flooding situation. The next day the tech snakes the drainage system for 75 feet, states this may or may not clear the block. If this may not fix the problem, then suggests a hydro-powered cleaner costing hundreds- a couple of thousand, perhaps in a good sense he recommended it. I was appalled when he said that snake tip has some mild greasy black that it was too much. My gut feeling is that this person doesn't know what he is talking about.

Integrity: Questionable.

I had a water leak above the water heater in my garage. I had to shut off the water.
I called Elite Rooter. The plumber came out and looked at it. He said he would have to open the ceiling above the water heater to look and I think he said they would charge me $680 and then give me a quote for repairing the leak. He said they might reduce that charge if I had the work done by them. It turned out that the leak was in the pipe coming into the top of the water heater. He called another guy to give the quote. He showed up and laid out a paper with a range of choices. The lowest was $3900 and ranged up to $25,000!! I asked why it was so high and he just shrugged and said something about them being a licensed, certified plumbing company. I had money invested in the project now and had an emergency type situation because I would not have any water to the house until it was fixed. I felt like I was in a spot and had to go ahead so I agreed. The total price was $4,363.69 which included $389.00 to open the ceiling. I later checked around and found out that the price was way out of line. One contractor said they could open the wall and replace all the pipes in it for that price. I also noticed in other reviews the excessive prices people paid them.
I won't be calling this company again!

Placed a service request via Yelp and received an immediate response from Ashlea A. Matt Sanchez, Senior Technician, arrived to fix a slow shower drain. Matt examined the flow rates of all the plumbing fixtures feeding into the main drain and quickly diagnosed the problem. He snaked the shower drain in a matter of minutes and charged the amount estimated. Matt was professional, clean, thorough and efficient through out the service call. His interaction with me was educational and informative. I would have given five stars but the dispatcher was unable to coordinate the technician's arrival in the appointment window 12:00-2:00.

Initial quote was $79, when the plumber showed up it became $139. With the replacement for the U-shape pipe, it became $450. The Plumber did a good job but it was still excessively expensive to charge $450 for a job under 30 minutes.

I had a problem with my drain in my bathroom and Elite Rooter came in within their appointment window. Marcus did a quick diagnosis and quickly resolved the issue. In addition to fixing my drain, he took a quick scan of my crawl space and highlighted potential issues that will need to be addressed in the future. Jesus came by and offered an estimate of the total repair cost, so that we can plan for it. Both Marcus and Jesus were very courteous and were not pushy at all. I highly recommend their services as it was fast and thorough.

Martin went under our house and found the sewer pipe was busted and puddles of raw sewage was evident. He shared pictures of everything including the cameras trip through the MAIN sewer pipe, which was separated at the joints. Lots of sewer and water lines needed immediate fixing and ELITE ROOTER did it ALL in a short time with minimal to no inconvenience to me. I was very impressed with the thorough knowledge of how my system SHOULD work and how to make it all run smoothly once again. Everything was replaced in a short period of time and options were given as each new problem was discovered. Very happy with Luis from Elite Rooter! Our kitchen sink was draining extremely slowly...we had a different plumbing service come out and they told us it was going to be $275+ to unclog it. Luis was able to offer the same service for only $69! He was friendly and thorough in his work. Our house is fairly old so it ended up being quite a challenge to unclog, but Luis was persistent and succeeded in fixing the draining issue. Highly recommended!

Great Staff and reasonable prices. Luis was excellent. They put on booties when entering my home and called ahead to let me know when they were on there way. Luis even had to go back and fourth to home Depot because the new fixtures I bought we're not compatible with the current pipping. I think these guys tried to pull one over on me. I had a main line blockage and they came out to clear the line. After a couple tries, they said it was still clogged (showing some muck on the snake) and I could see water was still filling in the pipe. A supervisor was then called by the plumber who came out. They now put a camera in the line and told me the same, something was still wrong with the line. He proceeded to write out five options for me... all costing thousands of dollars (~$2,300-$10,000+). They were both very nice guys. A couple days later, I had an independent plumber come out and within the first 10 minutes and 50 yards of snake he cleared the line. He did it a second time with a cutter attached and pulled out lots of roots. This was an easy fix! I never saw a cutter on Elite Rooters snake and I am sure there are ways to pretend to snake the line. This new plumber mentioned he's seen this happen many times before. I was only charged $69.00 by Elite Rooters which is very reasonable. I want to believe they have integrity and wouldn't pretend to clear the line however it is obvious where they make their big bucks. I am suspicious of them given it was such an easy fix with the second plumber. I don't want to think I was taken advantage of but in this case it's hard not to feel this way!! Either that or they are not good plumbers!! Or both!

Ours was a multi-day fix and install of 2 cleanouts (one front of house, and one in back.) After several attempted maintenance trips over 3yrs, the roots were taking over so badly that it was causing damage to the old clay piping. After 2 failed snake attempts and then a camera run, the Elite guys found sitting water in a damaged area, and pinpointed the exact location to dig. Carlos from Elite was extremely kind and professional, and worked over the Thanksgiving holiday, in the rain, by himself. He took special care to make sure the area was clean and secure before leaving. I appreciated the communication from him each day about what work was remaining. If you're reading this, I'm sure you can relate to the terribly unpleasant and aggravating experience of seeing raw sewage rising up in your shower, while the laundry washer drains during the spin cycle. Anyhow, in the spirit of the holiday season, our landlord was gracious enough to handle almost the entire experience, so I can't speak to the initial call and dealings afterwards. However, I can say Carlos showed up each day, and got the job done. The relief of knowing the line is fixed and clear is a true blessing for the holidays. Thank you Elite and thank you Carlos.
