Gladiator Repipe

Entire Home Repipe w/ Drains replaced as well. My home is old, built 1966 - two story. We bought it 4 years ago. Our master shower upstairs began leaking to our family room ceiling below. We stopped using the shower, until we could get it fixed, and started using hall bath shower and that started to leak into our entry way ceiling two days later. After dealing with Home Insurance for two months and going back and forth with them and getting nothing done, we decided to not want to do patch work anymore, and decided to just get the entire house repiped.

Gladiator came by and did a walkthrough of the entire house, inspected leaks in ceiling, checked out our water heater, checked out our main pipe coming into house. They told us everything that would happen on each day, told us what to expect, explained the process, explained the different options of copper vs pex, etc. Very professional.

I also got a quote from another contractor. He showed up, kind of looked around the house. Through out a ballpark figure of the cost. Then I asked if that included a new water heater, and he was like Oh, you want a water heater too? Then just added cost onto his ballpark figure from before. Didnt feel comfortable at all, and even though he was cheaper than Gladiator, Im not putting the future of my home in the hands of someone Im not comfortable with.

We went with Gladiator.

Day before they showed up, the hall bath drain began leaking - ugh. So Gladiator showed up and I asked them if they can fix that drain, and they said no problem and added it onto the work.

Next day, Gladiator called saying they found more leaks in drainage under house. They quoted me to fix the spots, or entire house drain replacement and we just went for all new drainage as well. This was all added on, and Gladaitor still finshed in time they told us.

We were happy with communication, and the work done. There were a few issues, as expected with a job this size, but nothing they didnt immediately fix. One, was our hallway bathtub we recently had reglazed had some chips in it from tools and pipes I suppose, but Gladiator sent a couple guys out to fix it. Another was, weeks later, my wife noticed on side of our house, some of the stucco was not patched and there was an opening. We called Gladiator and someone showed up and patched the stucco and it looks fantastic, not a rush job or anything.

It's been over a year since we got this repipe done and have had zero issues with the pipes or drains. The peace of mind of not having to deal with leaks is so nice. Gladiator did a great job. I dont fault them for the bathtub nicks, or some stucco patchwork missed. This was a big job, and nothing goes perfectly. As a homeowner, just do a thorough walkthrough in and around your house afterwards, and let Gladiator know of any problems. Once these minor issues were discovered, they took care of it right away. Would highly recommend Gladiator. They were very professional and did a fantastic job.

We found Gladiator Repipe with good reviews on Yelp. They had someone come the next day, provided a very reasonable quote and had work done in two day.  They explained all the details for the plumbing installation, ground work, and permit process.  In the quote, they listed all the charges with details.  Within two days, they got the permit approval and cleaned up everything.  They had really good prompt communications by emails, texts and calls.  So we were updated instantly with no stress.  We strongly recommend them.

Gladiator Repipe was professional, thorough, prompt and most of all did an excellent job in relocating our corroded kitchen drain pipe. This was a complicated problem as we live in an Eichler, built on a slab, with working radiant heat set inside the slab and the plumbing all under the slab.  In addition, the kitchen is uncharacteristically set in the middle of the house. Yuri and Jose came up with the creative solution of relocating the kitchen drain line directly to the sewer lateral located outside, thereby avoiding much of the radiant heat piping.  The job required jackhammering up the floor and slab, and all without destroying the radiant heat, then tunneling under the front door way and trenching through our garden to the lateral. We consulted several plumbers, and Gladiator was by far the most experienced and familiar with the particular idiosyncrasies associated with an Eichler.  They did a great job including all the finishing tile work to make our home whole again.  Start to finish in one week. We highly recommend them.

Julio and his crew handled a big project in our apartment complex very well. Worked quickly and efficiently, and made sure to answer any questions we had. Will be using them for any future needs.

(1) Quality Work and knowing their domain, work pretty well.
(2) Professional, Courteous crew (I had asked that they wear Masks etc and largely they all did)

Project: Entire Home Repiping.
While an army (feels like 100!) arrive on Day 1 and cover the floor etc, the team wraps up the entire Piping by late afternoon, its the Day 2 that you realize it deteriorates and the condition they'll leave you with. The Patching & Sheet Rock team (Day 2) led by Juan is very hard working and fantastic too btw but IF there is any issue unattended at the end of Day 1 in the house, like below at my site, the service feels like an unlicensed contractor/company!

Tip to you Home Owners: Ask that every part, inch of your home is walked through AND make them either finish right then OR commit a qualified person onsite on Day 2!

Issues I reported:
(1) One of my branded Kohler Toilet Malfunctions (after the repipe)
(2) Unfinished work (couple of holes, connections missed out) and some minor issue such as Fixtures removed for the work not reinstalled but also a high degree of dust in a few rooms. This is on top of coverings we did ourselves and cleared all the work areas!!

I spoke to the management re: #1 and the nickle & dime approach (+ a few others) is a bit unbelievable! Even if I didn't fault the piping for the issue, there seemed no real intent to solve (leave alone display any excellence)!

This company did complain Cost allocation issue but with what I incurred for the above issues, I'm now thinking if awarding the project at a 25% premium compared to the next highest contract was all so much worth it. It's unfair to the business to post the $ amount but I can add that the project was at least 100+ TIMES the $150/200 that these folks haggled ....

5 star experience and service! I called the Gladiator Repipe team yesterday and had someone come out the next day (my project wasn't an emergency)! Cynthia helped get me setup with a quick appointment and estimate using iMessage. I received a text when Jose was on his way, he took a quick look and suggested that we approach the shutoff valve replacement project from inside of the garage oppose to outside because repairing the sheetrock inside would be a much easier job (I didn't think of this). He was able to quickly replace and repair everything. Jose was extremely professional, sociable and I definitely felt like he took pride in his work!

The cherry on top for me was being able to make payment electronically using ApplePay!

Last year we got our house repiped with Gladiator, and they did an excellent job.  They have an army of workers that started the work in the morning and finished by 4pm.  A few days later, they got another team that did the dry wall repair, and I was very impressed with their work as well.

I worked with Yuri and we got a competitive quote. I highly recommend their repipe services.

I am very pleased with the whole house repiping done by Brian and his team. During this project, several walls were opened for replacing the old pipes with new copper pipes. Permits were obtained flawlessly. And finally, the walls were patched and left in paint ready condition. During the job, Brian also spotted a drain pipe leak and also my dryer vent was off causing lint to be blowed to my attic. These repairs were also done while the walls were still open. All the team were very friendly and professional. They communicated well in all steps and informed me of the progress which made me feel comfortable. I definitely recommend their services.

My toilets were backed up and I needed help!  I called Gladiator and spoke to Robert.  He was very friendly and though they were booked up he said he could send someone out between appointments to see if they can help!  Sure enough, they sent Jacob.  He was very well mannered and went to work right away!  Unfortunately his snake broke and so he called his boss and said they would send another person by.  Not long after, Philip stopped by and within the hour everything was working perfectly!  When all was said and done, they only charged me for Philip's time!  

I consider myself a customer service critic, and I have to say that every person I dealt with at Gladiator was friendly, respectable, knowledgable and they have integrity.  Highly recommend!!!  I think we got ourselves a new plumber!

We could not be more pleased with the service we received from Yuri and his team.  Yuri came out for a thorough evaluation and completely reasonable estimate with competitive rates.    Based on Gladiator's glowing reviews, we hired them for a complete repipe and drain replacement.  Things could not have gone better.

Yuri's team arrived en masse on the agreed-upon repipe date, and had the entire interior protected with floor-to-ceiling plastic sheeting, and all major appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine) all pulled away from the wall.  This was in the first 10 minutes.

Yuri's team then proceeded to remove all the 50yo pipes and replace them with new copper.  By early-mid afternoon, the piping was complete (INCLUDING installation of a new water filtration/conditioning system, AND a new dishwasher!) and all the debris was cleaned away and protective sheeting removed.   Drains replaced in the same manner the next day, and on the third day the City inspector came by.  All work passed inspection with flying colors.

The entire Gladiator team was amazing.  Extremely capable, efficient, and friendly workers, all.  They even went above-and-beyond to install bath/shower hardware that matched the shower head I had bought to enjoy the newly conditioned water.

There was low water pressure coming from our pipes, specifically with our hot water and tankless water heater. Jose showed up right at 10AM as expected. He was quick to diagnose the problem after listening to our explanation and was able to immediately solve the issue. Not only that he educated us on what proper maintenance should be and even recommended that we pay attention to getting a pressure regulator for where the water main met the house to protect the tankless water heater and overall pipes in the house.

I wasn't notified of what the service charge was for a tech to arrive and diagnose the problem but their prices were very reasonable. If I have any future issues, I will definitely be calling Gladiator Repipe again for help.

I would give these guys 6 stars if I could.  We had an issue with a drain blockage as a result of some remodeling work in our Eichler.  Eichler's are notoriously tricky for plumbing issues given that they are built on a slab.  When our remodeling contractors couldn't fix the problem, we called another plumbing company who couldn't either.  They told us we needed to find someone who would hydrojet the line to fix the problem.  James from Gladiator came out promptly and came up with a creative solution to fix the problem.  He spent several hours over multiple visits diagnosing and fixing the blockage.  We could not be more impressed with his level of customer focus.  He and his brother are the real deal.   Highly recommend.

I am so grateful to Gladiator Repipe for their courtesy, professionalism and expertise. Their Super Star Project Manager Yuri S. helped me coordinate the repipe with foundation work which saved me time and money. Everything with Gladiator went smoothly - so unlike most contractors I deal with (Yuri, can you manage the rest of my life? LOL!). They provide a clear and concise typed estimate (one you can actually read, not some illegible hand-written notes or a confusing form), real support from the project manager at all phases of the project, respect for tenants, and great work. We had to have Gladiator Repipe come out after our new floors were installed. We had two layers of tile (previous owners flipped house and placed new tile on top of old tile). We had toilet flanges in two bathrooms about 1/2+ above our new floors.
Yuri was able to assemble a team to assist the technician who came out original just to seal our toilets.
We were so thankful for the quick response; in addition, to seeing many of the previous workers we had repair our initial issues! They're all so wonderful. They knocked out the task and the following day we had the same drywall person come out.
The entire Gladiator Repiping Team is impeccable and I've already recommended their services to a couple people.

I did a lot of shopping around before choosing gladiator re-pipe. They were not the least expensive but they were not the most expensive either. The engagement with them was fine and they are all really nice. I had them remove two old tank water heaters and re-pipe the entire house replacing the  the old water heaters with tank less models. I did a copper / pex combination. The job lasted about 3 days and they were very careful and respectful of my home and property.  They did a great prep job and nothing really got dirty inside the house. After the job was done.....my water pressure is worse. I had the job done in the winter and my landscaping was not using the automated sprinklers. So what i have noticed now is that the sprinklers are kicking on but there is so little pressure to them that they barely even pop up so all of my lawns and landscaping are dying and I have very little pressure to any outside lines. Again, all broken. Also, my hose bibs, barely have enough pressure to wash your hands. All of this was fine on the old pipes.  While doing the re-pipe they moved a gas line (propane) that was rotted out under ground. There were some issues with the pipe due to it being rusted out. They claimed they fixed it but did not and it drained a 500 gal propane tank costing me a bunch of money. I called them to tell them about it and they were like oh well, pay us 3500 and we will come look at it. I opted to have another company replace the entire line to the propane tank for 1500 and they commented on how it was a half ass fix and were laughing at it. So now add about 4500 hundred to the total for the re-pipe for a new line and refill of the propane tank. Then....in the master bath, I have two sinks right next to each other, turn one on, hot in like 8 seconds, turn the one on that is right next to it, 45 to 50 seconds. I don't want to call them because I feel like they are going to treat me like they did about the gas line and blow me off or offer to help me fix their janky job for some huge price tag or try and blame me. They are great up front but I do not feel like they give a crap about you or the job they do after they get their money. Personally I would wish i would have went with another company. The showers all have far less pressure as well and if you are using a shower and someone turns on anything, I mean anything the pressure goes down to unusable levels.

This review is solely for Yuri and Jose. Out of 9 years of  being a property manager I have not seen this type of focus, dedication, communication and quality that I have seen with Yuri and his team. I was in desperate need of a plumbing solution due to brown water in my 6 unit building. For months I have gone over this project with many plumbers and no one gave me clear understanding or direction on how to move forward until I spoke with Yuri. We spoke for an hour about the job, how it works and he answered all my repeated questions to understand the work needed. He was so patient and kind. We met on-site and walked the property and planned out the scope of work. On the day of work the team came in and finished within 2 days and another 2 days for dry wall and patching. Jose ran his repipe team with ease and again, any questions where clearly answered and communicated. As a manager I take on the responsibility of handling residents and project scope but this duo really stepped in and took over everything to a point that I can relax and handle other work I had. All resident questions were answered by the team on site. The work itself was done seamlessly and flawlessly. This was all done while the building was fully occupied and there were no complaints. Thank you guys so much for an incredible job! I will be using Yuri and his team for my next plumbing project coming up.

We lived in an Eichler home, we need to repipe the water line for entire house. Since it's a big project, I have contacted couple repiping companies, finally I picked the Galdiator and I made the very right decision.

Couple things I loved about Gladdiator:
1. The project manager Yuri Sagestume is so easy to work with. He actually came twice in order to give us the right quote.
2. Before the day of starting repipe work, Yuri sent a guy who is an expert of fixing wall and get ready for next day since three walls need to be open for the work.
3. During the repiping day, they came 8 people at 8am and everyone is so professional. After 8hrs, the work is done and water is back! I am so impressed with their productivity!
4. Since they take care city permit thing, it got all handled in 3 days.
5. They offer lifetime warranty, it leaves us worry free.
I really like the service of Gladiator, the price they offer to me is quite reasonable. I want to thank everyone who works in this project!

Gladiator Repipe did a great job replacing every pipe, every drain, and the sewer lateral at our house in Menlo Park. Yuri was very diligent and clear throughout the process. They were also happy to bundle a few upgrades into the project, including a hot water recirculation line and pump, a natural gas hookup for a grill, and a new drain line in the garage so as to add a work sink.

While there were some screw-ups involving a beam that was notched too deeply, and driving over wet concrete, Gladiator Repipe, and Yuri in particular stood behind their work and found good solutions to fix the mistakes.

Gladiator staff is a total pro. I phoned them for an appointment and Yuri (Project Manager) showed up the very next day. We walked the house and during the walkthrough, he pointed out many details on the things they will also take care of during re-pipe. He provided us an estimate the very same day with details of what materials they will be using and a detailed schedule. I had also received two other comparable quotes but none were as detailed so I decided to move forward with the project. The Gladiator team showed up early and worked really hard all day to finish the re-pipe in one day. I had few concerns and as soon as I notified Yuri, he addressed them. The whole project was completed in 4 days which included two inspections from the city and sheetrock repair.  I am so happy that I choose Gladiator team for this project. :)

AMAZING WORK!!  I got 4 bids on repipe project but these guys blew everyone else away!! First off James came for the estimate and was very prepared and professional.  He asked tons of questions and went thru different options before writing up his estimate right there!  I didn't have to wait at all.  He had a folder with all the information on the products, warranty and quality of materials.  He offered the following:
* Warranty
* They are diamond certified so they have tons of insurance if anything were to happen
* Copper plumbing is top of line in the USA so you don't have to worry you may need to do this again!
* One day installation since he has a huge team who can get it all done that day!  Everyone else was quoting me 2 days
* Price was reasonable compared to others and I believe you get what you pay for!
* He has a check list of what to do day before and day! I loved that!

The team showed up right on time and were very professional.  They finished at 5:00 as promised.  My house was clean with shiny new pipes, water heater and pump.  The drywall work was 2 days after and everything was patched and looked very nice with texture.  They pulled all the permits and took away all the old materials and scheduled everything.  There was some dust but it was not bad.

We waited a while (~1 yr) before adding reviews post an almost full home remodel after buying for install/product quality checks.

James and Joe with Gladiator were a pleasure to work with from the get go, and some of the best contractors I had the pleasure working with (I was the not-so-well-prepared GC of the project).

They ran a full copper re-pipe of our home, attached a new water tank, installed kitchen and bathroom fixtures, and completely took care of the permit, all at a fair price for the quality. These guys used good materials, fully explained the why's, completed the job quickly, and were super easy to get along with the whole way.

I'd recommend Gladiator any day of the week and will be working with these guys for future plumbing needs. This wasn't the case with all the contractors we dealt with... thanks James!

I have to go along with the others that have given them a 5 Star review.  Rusting and leaking pipes brought us to Yelp to find a plumber.  I also checked Nestdoor, the BBB, Home advisor and the plumbers union.  They had A+ ratings everywhere.  We read all of the Yelp reviews and it gave us a lot of information.   Someone else mentioned that they were pricey.  While it wasn't cheap their pricing was right in the ball park with other plumbers that gave us estimates.  

Yes they do use U.S. copper! WooHoo  

We had to have the Copper re-pipe and the sewer pipes replaced...OUCH!  But it is so worth it,  no more leaks no more problems for life!

Great customer service all the way around from the front office, the inspector and the crew.  Everyone was very thorough and they did everything promised.  I had a list of questions that I wanted to make sure were addressed based on prior Yelp reviews.  So it was great to see that every single item on my list was addressed before I even had the chance to ask about it.  

Great job guys!!!!  Jose was the foreman and he did an amazing job.  

The crew were all very respectful and friendly which is very important to me.  They were on time, thorough.  There were no messes and no surprises.  They covered the floors to protect our tile and hardwood.  They covered the counters so that no dust got into anything.  Jose was great and took the time to explain what they did and why they were doing it.  He took me around showing me the issues with pipes, the leaks, the sewers, virtually everything.  You can't ask for better than that.

Gladiator repiped our house 2 years ago. This month, we noticed a leak. We called them, explained the issue and they came the same day to fix it... fully covered by the Lifetime Warranty they committed on the contract.

Every aspect of our experience with Gladiator was good and there were no surprises or problems.  I recommend them highly.

I had a good experience with this business the last time I dealt with them, so when we had some additional plumbing issues we decided to go back to them.  In addition we wanted to get a quote for doing a repipe on our house as they had mentnioned we might want to consider it.  

First - they never responded to my request for a quote.  I had to call to follow up.  We scheduled them to come out and they showed up on time.  The person who came out first was polite, but wasn't able to even really give us a quote on either the toilet that was having issues or the repipe project.  He did a little looking around and scheduled someone else to come out later in the week.  He told us they would scope the pipes as they were actually copper already, but it looked like they were installed improperly.  

He said in terms of the toilet it would cost less if we purchased one in advance.  In case he was right we purchased one the day before the next person arrived.  He took a small glance the toilet to see where the leak was coming from and told us the cost to replace would be $600!!!  We said that's crazy as we already had the toilet.  He brought it down to the mid 200 range, which is high, but not crazy high.  

In terms of the repipe the next guy didn't bring a scope and more or less just looked at the pipes again and quoted (verbally) a price of around $10K.  Given that the pipes are already copper and had been replaced at some time in the past this is insanely high.  He said a formal quote would come later (and it never did).  They charged us 89 dollars for this even though their quotes are supposed to be free.  

We will never do business with this company again!

They've done lots of work at our home. Every time Gladiator gets the work done quickly and professionally. Super fair pricing, professional employees and quality work.

I had a main line leak and my insurance was giving me the run around. I called Gladiator for a quote and Yuri came out. Extremely professional and gave me many options. He and his crew came out and absolutely crushed the job! Repiped the whole house in ONE day and patched. Didn't realize how low my water pressure was until they came in and did the job. If you're looking for no hassle excellent craftsmanship they are your go to!

OMG, I am completely shocked at the price of this bill. All I wanted was my appliances installed. I figured, since you guys did such a good job on my repipe several years ago, you would do a good job on installing my appliances. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!
When I called to have you move a gas line and drain pipe, I thought $650 was a lot, and then when I saw the holes you left in my wall....., I was astounded that you would not repair them and would charge me extra for damage you all caused.

$1,325for installing appliances? What the heck. It's not that hard?!?!?!?!

I will never, ever do business with you again.

I called these people today to get a price on replacing a toilet in my guest bathroom, I should have had them replace it a few years back when they replaced the Master bathroom and middle bathroom toilets and they did a great job.... BUT , yes but...

Today I called and said I needed to have a toilet replaced how much would it cost and that I used them before a few years ago for the other toilets in my house and the girl sounded confused....  So I asked again how much do you charge for a toilet remove and replace and she said I have to check with my boss and see what he says, so I give her my number and 2 hours later I haven't heard back... so I call back and know I think a different person tells me it 250.00 ( WOW ) 2 x what other people are telling me, so much for trying to use the same place that did a good job a few years ago..

Update: I did get a ( few ) calls back later today, about my updated yelp review, but they said due to some mix up the price should have been 215.00 for the quoted job price and that they didn't know I was a prior customer from 2015.. So they would offer/honor me that price..  I said thanks but.. NO

Thanks for updated / offer and calls back people, but if you can't call people back when they are waiting on you and then tell them a price more then double from the 1st time I used you, your not a place I want to deal with. I thank the manager for trying to fix things, and I am sure your plumbers do great work, but your office people need to have the talk about being the face of the company..  Its little things like this that make people walk away...

Gladiator just completed repiping my 5 unit apartment complex in San Jose. Gladiator was not the lowest bid and I don't mind paying a slight premium if the quality of materials are superior and work is done right. I'm extremely picky and let me tell you, James, Yuri, Jose, Jennie and their entire team were fantastic from start to finish...they are the Best!

I love the Yelp quotes tool.  It's so easy to send out a note to 6 of the top rated companies and then wait for people to call you back.  

1 minute after I sent out the request, Noor called me back.  He was extremely professional and polite on the phone, and quickly scheduled time to come take a look for us around our availability.  

Our appointment is scheduled for tomorrow.  I'll update more, but for now, Noor gets 5 stars in my books!

We repiped our plumbing & sewage systems with Gladiator.

James and his crew are very knowledgeable, professional & organised. The office assistants are methodical in scheduling everything - work, inspection & followup. They finish the Sheetrock afterwards and cleanup after themselves. Jose, Carlos & crew are punctual and word hard to give complete satisfactory job.

I was recommended to try Gladiator out for my washer / dryer install and they outperformed my expectations. Not only were they extremely responsive, but they were very flexible with our busy schedule. They were able to get the job done in no time.

We have buckled drywall and floor. We thought that there were some water pipe leaking inside our house. In order to find the leaking place, we hired James Bailey. After he found that there was no pipes inside the drywall and took a look outside, he immediately pointed out that the leak happened outside. And he is right, today we finally pinpointed down the leak, which is outside.

If I can rate them a NEGATIVE star we would!!! Dont use this company. Highly over priced. They say they are DIAMOND certified but has ALOT of disputes and complaints.  They make promises saying they do satisfactory work but cut corners to make job easier for them to get to next victims.   Communication poor on their end once they get your contract and money.  Our pipes were not visible before then when they redid the work now its exposed cuz they were to lazy to put extra effort to do it correctly.  When you call them to fix it they ignore you and hope you go away.  Dont ever pay them the balance even though they tell you they will satisfy their work. Dont believe them when they say 100% guarantee. They only say that for them to be chosen to get the contract.
There is Alot more to the situation save yourself the headaches and use another company that has your trust and keeps their word.  Its true there is always two sides to the situation... Dont ignore the bad experiences comments. Research and ask because we too believed the positive comments and the good sales pitch from James until they did the work and sadly the negative comment and situation is true and happen to us.

Our rental showed gas leak, PG&E shut off the gas line, and tenant was in big trouble. Called Gladiator. They responded promptly and, knowing it was emergency, they dispatched Edgar and his crew within hours, gave estimation, and started the work the very next morning and finished the repiping and repair totally by the end of day for a truly professional job well done. Their charge is very reasonable and well deserved it based upon their outstanding workmanship.

High recommendation for anyone who needs a serious gas line repair.

TL;DR: Hire Gladiator Repipe.

It took me about 5 months to meticulously research repipes before I chose Gladiator and my conclusion is they are so far ahead of the competition, they really are the only choice in the Bay Area. I wish they'd hire me, but I have no clue what I'd do for them. Anyway, moving right along...

Why I chose them:

   1. Quality of work - I am in love with my new water heater. It's bittersweet the beautiful copper pipes will be closed up with drywall next week.
  2. James - the co-owner who came by to do my quote was no pressure and so knowledgeable (for a Niners fan)
  3. Jose - the project lead for my re-pipe was professional and knowledgeable
  4.  The employees - they are skilled, well-paid, polite and not sub-contractors
  5. It's a legit business - they have lots of insurance. They're diamond certified.
  6. Materials - they use USA made copper, top-of the line pipe goo, etc. This'll be the last repipe you'll have to do
  7. Customer service - Cynthia at their office is awesome.
  8. Flexibility - I bought fancy-schmancy faucets to fill an emotional void, and they installed them for me even though it was above and beyond the like for like agreement
  9. Trustworthiness - I left out my purse, laptop and tablet in plain site. They weren't jacked.
  10. End-to-end service - they pull the permits, put in the new pipes, dispose of the old ones, and close up your walls with texture.

What could be improved:

Price - they are a bit spendy. But you get what you pay for, so this could be neutral or even a benefit depending on how you look at it.

Tip: Cover everything you want to protect from the fine layer of dust that comes from sawing into the drywall. It gets on everything.

Short Version:

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Amazing company, absolutely perfect, 110% recommend! They will come to your home to explain everything and provide tons of information, there will be no pressure at all to hire them, and if you go with them, you will be blown away at what an amazing job they do. Not to mention that a team of brothers runs the company. The are incredibly professional and friendly, do top notch work, and fix anything you need to make sure the job is perfect. This is the kind of company I actually feel HAPPY to give my hard-earned money to.

Long Version:

Like many other homeowners, our 1970's galvanized steel pipes had reached the end of their lifespan, and we needed a repipe. We did our research and decided copper was the way to go as opposed to PEX. We called around and had several companies come out to give a sales pitch and bid.

Some things we learned along the way - you can repipe with PEX (plastic) or copper. Do your homework to see what is right for you, but we chose copper. When you are looking for a company to do copper, make sure to ask lots of questions, such as - How long will this take? What kind of copper do you use? How many workers will you have at my house? Do you drywall, patch, and texture, and does that cost extra? And maybe most importantly, how long will I be without water???

I found most companies tell you it will take about a week, and you will be without water for 1-3 days. If you are anything other than a single guy who can go without showering and cooking for a few days, this is obviously a problem. Gladiator get's it done in one day. The other thing to look out for, is that some companies come in and install new pipes right next to your old ones. When everything is done, they cut the old ones, connect the new ones, and they are done. This is good because you are without water for a very short time (as you continue using your old pipes while they install your new pipes), but it sucks for your house, because they have to cut through things to install the new pipe runs. Gladiator avoids this by cutting all your old pipes out, and installing new pipes in the same spot, all in ONE DAY.

Gladiator comes shows up on repipe day with an ARMY of workers. They are all on time, friendly, and professionally dressed. They send workers into every part of your house. We literally had guys working upstairs, downstairs, under the house, in the garage, and in the front yard, and back yard, SIMULTANEOUSLY! They cut out all the old, and completely repiped the whole house, including a new line to the water meter, all in one day. The next day, a worker came to drywall, patch, and texture holes in walls (made during repipe to access pipe locations).

Everything came out perfect. We have such amazing water flow now. This company has master plumbers, so if you have any other jobs you need done, like water softeners installed, etc, these guys can take of it.

Basically, what can I say. I just just blown away but what an amazing company this is. If everyone ran their company like these guys do, the world would be a better place.

Their prices are very reasonable compared to the competition. You will probably pay a little bit more for Gladiator, but they are WORTH EVERY PENNY. Do not hire some crap company to save a little money on a huge job like a repipe. These guys are super professional, use the highest quality materials, are extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with, and address any issues or concerns you may have immediately. Just a top notch outfit.

Approximately 2 months ago, I contacted Gladiator Repipe to get an estimate for a tankless water heater and a repipe on my 47 year old single story home. Yuri came out on time as scheduled. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. The estimate was presented and in line with what I had expected. We scheduled the job for the following week. The entire crew showed up on time and worked very hard throughout the day. Everyone did an outstanding job and cleaned up when finished. I couldn't be happier with the job they did and I would highly recommend them.

First off, I am very glad that I hired Gladiator Repipe.  When I first called the company Yuri came to give estimate.  The price quoted to repipe it with copper was very reasonable for small single story house built in late 1960's.  That was the good news.  Then he gave me bad news (for me) that the drain pipe was also leaking and needed to be replaced eventually.  

I asked for the estimate for both copper repipe and replace drain pipe and he said the company will need one day to repipe the house and next day to dig and replace drain pipes.  The revised estimate jumped to little bit over double which was ouch for me.  I think most home owners are thinking repiping home with copper but not drain.

I had the option of just doing copper repipe to hold down cost and eventually deal with drain problem later but that later would be much more expensive then if I take care of it now at once so I bit the bullet and went for more expensive but necessary repair.

I decided to hire Gladiator Repipe based on the fact that I was given detailed information of kind of repair that was required, reasonable price, speed, efficiency and lastly when I asked when can they start, Yuri said, We can start next day which was unexpectedly fast start.

I lucked out in that the company had open slot for next day.  

And the company really delivered.  House was repiped with new USA made L size copper in one day.  Next day they came to dig and replace drain pipe.  Very fast, very efficient with almost military precision.  After 50 years of usage, the old galvanized water pipes looked ugly inside.  

I have requested estimate from another company and that one quoted me estimate for repipe that was higher than Gladiator and furthermore that estimator did not point out problem with drain pipe. The time required to repipe home was 3-5 days instead of one day from Gladiator.  

Once repipe and drain replacement was done the company did leak test and ran camera through drain pipe to see how well the water exited the residence.  Unfortunately, camera test showed pipe had shifted where residential drain pipe meet with city controlled drainage pipe which created partial blockage of waste water.  

After further consultation with Gladiator about the blockage I decided that portion of repair can wait as waste water is still going through to city pipe.  Per Gladiator the shift in pipe was not recent and was there for a while.  If I am lucky I may not have to do anything.  

Waiting for permit inspection took much longer than actual time spent replacing pipes and drains.

Once the permit inspection was done sheetrock person came next day and patched up the holes around the house and he was very good at it.

If you want balance in cost, quality, speed and efficiency I would definitely recommend Gladiator Repipe.  You may not get next day service like I have but I really believe you will be happy with their quality work.

Gladiator will do Pex pipe which is somewhat cheaper than copper but Pex has estimated life of 25 years whereas copper is warrantied for life.

Not long after second and final permit inspection I found minor leak in master bedroom bathroom.  I called the company and they scheduled follow-up checkup/repair the next day.  Gladiator will stand behind their work.

Background:

Home repair is like a domino that falls onto another domino that's next to it. You fix one thing and then a whole host of other things need to be repaired.

I have an old house that was built in the 1940s and it has additions that were built later. I noticed in the home's original bathroom that the galvanized steel pipe which connected to the sink was rusting. I contacted a couple of plumbers and the consensus was that I needed to do a partial repipe (i.e. on the oldest part of the house) and replace the galvanized steel piping with copper.

I contacted 5 different plumbing companies to get quotes for the partial repipe. Two of these companies never showed up at my house after numerous back/forth. The other 3 showed up.

Out of the 3 estimators that showed up James Bailey (Gladiator REPIPE Inc's project manager) was the most friendly and thorough. He took his time starting from the main water connection pipe on the outside of the house and went through the part of the house needing the repipe. He was thorough and explained everything (i.e. what he saw and possible issues that might be encountered during the job). He also went over Gladiator's approach to repiping in terms of materials used (type L copper, ball valve shut-offs, hot lines, water-based flux, air pressure testing to guarantee that there are no links, etc...).

When I compared James/Gladiator's estimate to the other 2 companies I noticed the following:

1. I was given clear price breakdown rather than a lump sum (for repipe, sheetrock repair, water heater service and code upgrades, main water line)

2. Gladiator had the highest amount of liability insurance across all categories (workman's comp, general liability, etc..)

3. The inspection permit and passing the inspection was part of the estimate/job

4. Gladiator was Diamond Certified (an additional point of reassurance)

5. price-wise Gladiator was on par with one of the other companies (but the other company had terrible Yelp reviews), while the third company gave me a much higher price for less service

At this point I decided to go with Gladiator.

Repipe Day:

On the day of the repipe James showed up on time with four of Gladiator's plumbers, as well as his foreman. They worked from 9am to 5pm (exactly as James indicated) and completed the repipe. This included the air pressure test that helped verify that there were no leaks. They also cleaned up the house and minimized the amount of holes done to the sheetrock and plaster (much of the old part of the house has plaster...great :-( ).

During the repipe I asked James if his people could also check the sewer drain lines (since they were in the crawl space). Upon checking the drain lines, they found that some of the galvanized steel drain pipes were leaking sewage (they took pictures to show me).

James went over the options with me:

Option 1: leave it as is (it would only get worse leading to eventual failure; sewage in the crawl space and lots of money to clean-up and fix it)

Option 2: add this work to the existing repipe permit and get it done in a day

I choose option 2 since it was the better long-term approach and it was more economical (i.e. since Gladiator was already working on my house).

The next day Gladiator's plumbers showed up once again and replaced the old drain lines of the house as well as santizied/cleaned the sewage areas.

The inspection:

The inspection process involves a rough inspection (while everything is opened up so the inspector can see the actual piping) and a final inspection (when all the holes are patched). Gladiator's office person (Cynthia) did an excellent job in scheduling the inspector, communicating to me the times of inspection, and making sure that one of Gladiator's plumbers was at the house during the inspection process. Any fixes that needed to be done were done by Gladiator's employees on the spot so both the repipe and drain line work passed both inspections (whohoo).

Hole Patching:

I have to say that Gladiator's hole patching guy was AMAZING. He patched both sheetrock and plaster with great craftsmanship making the patches look seamless (in terms of texture and smoothness). I only had to do a bit of touch up paint to get the areas back to original shape.

Conclusion:

Fixing an old home sucks, especially when it comes to copper repiping and sewer drain line replacement. James Baily made the process smooth and predictable. I judge a project on 3 levels: quality of work, amount of time it takes, and cost. Gladiator REPIPE Inc. checked all the boxes:

1. Excellent quality of work

2. Work done in a day per plan (this one is so rare...I've had so many other companies and contractors tell me that something will take a day and it ends up taking two weeks)

3. Cost on par with other estimates

I am very happy with James and Gladiator and will happily recommend them to anyone that needs repipe and drain line replacement.

Gladiator repipe installed tankless water heater, water treatment system and repiped the whole house (3/2) with copper piping in a day. We were in a hurry to move into our new house and so sent a quote request on Yelp. Yuri was very fast to response and even came out on Sunday to give us a quote. His quote was very competitive. They were very flexible with the schedule and were ready to start the work that week. Jose, the foreman, and his team knew exactly what they are doing. I am very impressed with their speed and attention to details. During the city inspection, these guys were present and addressed all minor issues right then and there.

I chose Gladiator after getting three bids, they came in the lowest. From the beginning Yuri (salesman) was great to work with. I opted for all new copper pipes, new main pipe to the street, water heater and salt-free water softener (installation only). They scheduled me right away and the installation took a day. They guys were very nice, protected the house/furniture. They did a great job installing the salt-free water softener and took care digging up the grass in the front yard. Passed inspection the day after, then came in and patched the walls & refill the trench in the front yard the following business day. Highly recommend them. Received follow up calls and courtesy calls regarding the inspections, scheduled patch work. They really care about the customer experience. Had the work done a month ago, with zero issues.

We noticed our water heater tank continuously filling yesterday and by late afternoon noticed it had started leaking.  Thanks to Cynthia even though it was 4:00 pm she was able to get someone to come and diagnose the problem.  Ended up we needed a new tank.  Gladiator were able to sneak in an order for tank and part before their supplier closed for the day at 5 pm.  They started to empty the old tank completely while running around to collect other parts.  True champions they replaced the old tank with a new one and even ran away and back to help instal a drip collection pan and instal overflow drainage pipe.  They stayed until around 8:00 pm to complete the job with true professionalism.  I give them 5 stars fir coming through at such short notice and doing the fantastic replacement job within a day and after normal work hours.

Gladiator has serviced 2 of my homes, and the quality of work is great!  Jose and his crew worked extremely hard during the rain and cold, and put everything back so well that you can hardly tell where they worked!

I wish I can give them more than 5 stars. This review is late. Gladiator replaced all our old galvanized pipes from the inside of our house to the water pipes that go to the street with copper. This was done around the summer of 2016.

Let me start with the consultation process. I got a total of 4 bids. Gladiator Repipe sent out one of their very own owners out to explain to me about the process of replacing the pipes. They were very professional and explained everything from the beginning to the end. The other 3 project bids sent out salesman that had no good pitch and didn't explain anything to me. The other companies basically laid out the pricing and didn't get into what was going to be done.

On the day of the job, the guys that came out were great. Very friendly guys and some of them were funny. I forgot the foreman's name but he was always listening to my concerns. They crawled under my house, did the cutting and removed all the galvanized steel pipes. They were all corroded!!! OMG, I can't believe we have been using these pipes for years.

They finished in one day! I'm amazed how fast they work and clean too. They placed drapes and covered our wood floors and carpet. They taped up our walls too from collecting dust and also put covers on our couches. They went over and beyond of what I expected. This is what you expect I guess from hiring Diamond Certified contractors.

Since then I've recommended them to a few of my friends who own homes.

Why am I writing this review today? Well about 5 days ago I had a lot of sputter (pockets of air) in both my bathroom faucets. The receptionist called me the day after I reported this to them by email. Awesome response! I forgot her name but she was very friendly. She just said we'll sent out our guys to your place on this date and time. Well they came out today and on time! 2 guys came out...Alex and I think the other guy was Joe! Awesome guys and funny too. Very professional, and without me asking them to take off their boots they did it on their own. Much appreciated guys. Anyways, they were very helpful. They fixed the sputtering and also the water pressure. Increased it from 50psi to 70psi. Max they said was 80 and they even showed me how to regulate the psi w/ the regulator that they installed last year during the repipe project. These 2 guys came out and listened to my concerns and asked if I had any other questions. They did not say it was my fault or pointing fingers saying well this isn't their problem.

Well, this sums up how happy I am with them. I highly recommend this company and if the owners are reading this, kudos to Bailey and your workers. I will for sure save your company info for any future piping needs. Thank you very much for everything you have done.

Had to repipe my whole house. Every inch of pipe was replaced.  Yuri was a great sales guy.  ALWAYS available which made me feel confident that someone was there to answer questions.  The whole crew was really nice and professional. James was great! He was responsive to my questions and helped guide me through the repiping process from start to finish. He helped me understand the difference between copper and pex piping. (We went with copper)Along with doing a full copper repipe, they also helped me install a tankless water heater and replace the main water line from the street as the galvanized  pipe was beyond repair. They weren't the least expensive bid we received but well worth it! The guys at Gladiator are thorough, professional, and knowledgeable! Gladiator did a one-day copper re-pipe of our 1970s house. They pulled all the mostly clogged galvanized steel pipe all the way down to the water meter at the street and did a great job. They keep a skilled crew that are very professional and Gladiator makes sure everything you want done, gets done and all while keeping your property clean and professionally patching everything when done.

They did such a great job we had them come back later in the year when we were having issues with old PVC waste water line (of which we'd had many problems in the three years we lived here) and did a whole house replacement of that, as well. Everything is working great and guaranteed. They're friendly, understanding and clearly explain things. I'd highly recommend them for any plumbing job!

My story starts when our house, undergoing remodeling in the summer of 2017, sprang a leak through the kitchen ceiling whenever a toilet flushed on the second floor.  We opened up the kitchen ceiling and found cracked iron drain pipes... certainly a homeowner's nightmare for sure!

We got four bids and chose Gladiator for two reasons - they came in the lowest, but more importantly, they were punctual for their estimate.  (one of the other four bids was from a contractor who was more than an hour late in coming to do the estimate... not a good thing when I have to drop off a 3 year old at daycare afterwards on a workday morning)

We ended up doing a whole house drain pipe repipe; they were able to schedule it out within two weeks and got the work done in one day - impressive!

We discovered that one of our kitchen cabinets got scratched afterwards, so after communication with their office (they were quite responsive), they sent someone over a few days later to fix it; he was able to match color and paint over the scratches, to our satisfaction.  While it would have been better if the scratch hadn't occurred in the first place, we were impressed by their responsiveness and willingness to work with us to make it right.

Overall, I was impressed with their punctuality, price, and most importantly, their responsiveness and willingness to work with us, and would certainly use them again in the future.

This review is about a year late. We bought a 40+ year old home in winter of 2016. One of the known issues with the house was mixed plumbing and some known leakages in the past. I got few quotes from some big name repiping companies in our area. While not the cheapest, Gladiator Repipe's quotes were very competitive. The best thing I liked about the company and what made me go with Gladiator Repipe was how it was run - like a family.

The sales person (Yuri) explained in details what will be done and gave me an elaborate quote with all the options listed. In addition to repiping I asked them to install a water softener and whole house filter. They gave me the quote for installation and asked me to buy a softener of my choice myself. This was totally different from some other companies that I talked to who would only install the softener if I bought the (marked-up) system from them. We also got a hot water circulation system on Yuri's suggestion which has turned out to be a blessing in winter months.

The work was done in 1 day flat. They handled the permits and all the complications associated with them. Once the permits were approved, they came back to patch the walls. They even matched the texture for each of the patch they made.

After the install I have called them for a couple of things in the last 1 year to look at small things that were related to the work they did and they have shown up and looked at those and fixed them as needed.  

Overall I had a great experience working with Gladiator, its owners and its employees. I will definitely recommend it to my friends if they need such work done in their houses.

We used Gladiator Repipe for our re-piping project late last year. We were extremely impressed from first contact to the last.

The work crew is a well-oiled machine: fast, competent and always on time. They were very respectful of us and our home.

James was always available to us and on-site daily. He followed through on all our questions and requests.

Just a couple of days ago, we started noticing a backup to the toilet when we ran the washing machine. We called Gladiator Repipe for a consultation. James was not sure whether the issue was related to their work or not (it wasn't), but immediately reassured us that they would be accountable if our issue was secondary to the re-piping project.  One of the workers came to the house and helped us work through the issue at no charge to us.

We used gladiator for replacing a toilet in our home. Joe came and was on time and was very clean.  He took care of business and was very polite.  We definitely will call if we ever need help and recommend to friends.

Gladiator replaced the sewer line in my 60 year old house in May 2016.  The quote, guarantee, and work were good.  But, there was a problem with my sprinklers having very low pressure after Gladiator replaced the pipe.  Gladiator came out 2x to check the sprinklers and determined it was not due to their work, but instead I had too many sprinklers on a single line.  What I knew is that the sprinklers worked for 11 years before they came out and did not work after....a bit too much of coincidence for me.  Since Gladiator was unwilling to help, I had my gardener come see what he could do; he also felt I had too many sprinklers on one line, so I ok'd $500 for him to split the sprinklers across 2 lines.  After doing the work, the water pressure was still not working well, and we noticed it was bad in the backyard also.  Since my gardener was unable to fix the problem, I arranged for a professional irrigation company to come out and see what the problem was; before the irrigation company came out, my gardener rechecked everything and found the problem...Gladiator had not fully opened the water line after their work; once my gardener opened the line fully, the sprinklers in front and back worked great.  

I think Gladiator did good work replacing the sewer line, but they get 2 stars from me for their inability to diagnose such a simple problem, and causing me extra work and money.

These guys are extremely professional, do great work, and are wicked fast.  They repiped my 3/2 house in a single day including trenching a new supply line from the street and a new tankless water heater.  It was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen.

On top of that they were really flexible and worked with me because I wasn't ready to have the showers repiped.  I was waiting to do a bathroom remodel, so they came back when the shower was torn apart to finish the repipe at no additional cost.  

It doesn't get better than these guys.

They were late on giving me my estimate.  I had to call several times to get it and then it was much more costly than the other two I received. I was really disappointed

I had a problem with the garbage disposal making strange noise so I had contact Gladiator and a man named Jim came by to fixed the problem lucky he had a brand new garbage disposal in his van and had it replaced in 10 minutes and took the old one back for recycle.  He was very polite and efficient in his job. Couldn't been any happier

Needed a new gas line put in for a pool heater.  Communication was great, the work was done on time for the price quoted, and the workers went to great lengths to not disrupt the landscape or hardscape any more than necessary. Couldn't be happier.

I have a long over due repiping work for my house. I got many bids. Yuri explained to me the detailed process and put it in the bid as well. The price is moderate among others. During the repiping, we found the drain pipes are also due to replace.

Their office did a wonderful job to communicate. That includes daily schedule as well as city inspection. The guys working in my house are super friendly. They came in time and seems very considerable.  They even put a service clean-out at back of the house so it will no longer require to get into crawl space to clean out main drain.

Here comes the losing star. I have an upscale European valve (Grohe) for my shower. After repiping, no more hot water, only cold water comes out. They suggested us to pay $300+ extra and replace it with Delta. After resistance from me, they send their master plumber. They ask me to pay parts plus hourly rate. Based the feedback from Grohe support and other plumbers on Yelp, I understand it's matter of flushing the valve after repiping. By then, I realized that they are a repiping company, not a plumbing specialist. With the information from Grohe support and other plumbers, I worked along with their guys, step by step, it didn't take long to get the valve flushed. Then everything back to normal.

All in all, I have pretty good experience with them. I feel if you have valves due to replace as well, they should do a much smoother job.

Repipe is a big deal, so I extensively researched and decided to go with Gladiator Repipe compony.

I'm so glad I found them.  They are amazing and hardworking bunch of people.  They are located in San Jose, but came all the way to Oakland everyday.  Since I don't know anything about repiping I asked so many questions to the project manager, Yuri, he answered every single question/request properly, and made my life easier by being flexible.

And....plus, they are Diamond Certified, which is a great comfort knowing that they've done the work right.

Update: just wanted to do a quick update and mention that it seems like this company no longer does regular plumbing jobs and is exclusively a repiping company now (I asked for a quote for several issues in my home and never heard back). So my original review below doesn't really mean as much except for their nice service.

While Brian's sell on the service and quality of the work that Gladiator performs was very impressive, the actual quality of the work that Gladiator performed was subpar mainly in the areas of communication, willingness to do best work, and attention to detail. Gladiator came up short on multiple levels as they performed the whole house repipe. I would not recommend Gladiator's work unless those individuals involved in the business can learn how to follow through on the level and quality of the work they claim they will complete in their contract. The following issues arose during my repipe and despite communicating many of these issues to Brian by phone, this did not translate into improved or corrected work despite Brian's claim they would make right on all the mistakes and missteps they made over the course of their work at my house.

Gladiator works quickly to try to complete the repipe in one day. Despite this, Gladiator should be able to maintain attention to detail and perform a higher quality of work than they do. I found this quick work to result in short cuts and damage to my house that should not have happened. This damage included two locations on my flooring where there are now black spots that I am unable to remove. While Gladiator claims they will protect all the areas of the house where they work, this is not accurate. If this was the case, I would not have black stains on my floor. While installing the main line, the workers touched the siding of my house multiple times with their greasy and dirty hands leaving smudged stains all over the siding of my newly painted house. I am also unable to remove these stains. While working on the main line and the front hose bib, Gladiator destroyed the wood siding on my house. While replacing the sewer line from the toilet, Gladiator flooded the carpeting on my bathroom flooring and did nothing to address mopping it up. Thus, this water saturated my bathroom cabinet. Gladiator did not bother to communicate to me that this happened so I had to discover it on my own.

Gladiator also takes any short cut they possibly can to complete the work often at the cost of quality. This short cut resulted in Gladiator piping my water heater with water pipes coming up through the floor instead of through the walls where the pipes should be. Now, we have water pipes running to our water heater inside the house.

Gladiator claims they will remove all old existing pipes from under the house but this is also not true. The vertical pipes to the water heater were left. This, of course, is due to the short cut they took to pipe the water heater. Many of the other old pipes were left as well. My husband had to go under the house to discover them. Brian assured me they would be removed when the crew returned. The crew returned and removed a lot of dangerous shards they had left (did they smash and bury the old sewer pipes?), but they did not remove the old pipes. Only after I showed the crew the pictures my husband had taken, did they go under the house and remove some of the old horizontal pipes.

Gladiator also claims they will clean up fully after their work. This is also not true. Every day, Gladiator left an enormous mess that I had to clean up. Most egregiously was the sheet rock worker who I had to put back to task to clean up plaster that had splattered on the baseboards and side walls and had been left there to dry. Unfortunately, he also did not have attention to detail and told me he had completed the work but upon inspection, three of the five areas he had worked on needed more attention as the paster was cracking and not smooth. I had to put him back to task to improve his work in these three areas. Even so, in the end, I spent probably an hour cleaning up after his work and making final improvements that he was not able to address.

Finally, Gladiator needs to pay more attention to leaving items on the property that belong to the homeowner. While I felt I had cleared all the areas sufficiently for the workers, I had missed a couple of things. Instead of the workers communicating this to me so I could address my oversight, I was left to discover that the workers had removed one of our wastepaper baskets. Why would Gladiator take a homeowner's wastepaper basket and not return it? Also, I had removed a mirror so that the walls could be cut into for the repipe. I left the mirror clips on the wall not knowing that the workers would need to cut bigger holes. One of the mirror clips was removed. Instead of preserving this mirror clip to return to me, it was just thrown away showing that Gladiator does not pay attention to details nor has the homeowner's best interest in mind.

Ultimately, Gladiator needs to clean up their act literally and figuratively. The homeowner should not have to micromanage workers and put them back to task multiple times to complete work that is promised to be completed in the contract. The homeowner should also not have to complete

James was referred by our leak detection agent and he was very easy to work with. His team came out the next day and re-piped our main service line to our house all in one day. Really appreciated the fast work since our eroded pipes were driving our water bills crazy. Thank you!

Amazing experience from start to finish.  Great work, very thorough.  Very professional and friendly and punctual.  They came out to fix a broken water pipe and they made a bad situation much better experience.  Highly recommended them!!! Job Description: Extend new gas line from one end of the house to other for Gas Range.

Joe came in and gave quotes for gas line along with BTU calculations. As per quote and timeline their team came in on time and did the job.

Post job all area was cleaned up.

Homedepot was not able to install new gas stove, but Joe came in ,installed it and also advice us to change electric outlet.

Overall very good service. We use them again when required and definitely recommend them.

We just bought a new house and hired Gladiator Repipe to replace the old 1950's galvanized steel pipe with copper.  They took care of all the necessary permits, arranged the inspection, everything.  They were fast, meticulous, and transparent - keeping us in the loop on everything they were doing.  The city inspector even remarked that he was impressed by their attention to detail.  After the inspection they did a great job of patching up anywhere in the wall they opened, much of which ended up looking significantly better than it had before, and they went above and beyond by fixing some other issues (like the gas line to the water heater) that we never would have expected.  And when we discovered that the trenching had disrupted some sprinkler heads in the yard, they were out again the very next day to assist - very impressive and beyond the level of service most contractors seem to provide.

When we discovered via a camera inspection that our sewer line was broken, we hired them again and they were every bit as awesome.  We absolutely wouldn't hesitate to bring them back again if we ever have another plumbing project come up or have a friend who does.

I woke up to no hot water one morning last month and discovered that the pilot went out.  I tried to relight it, but was having no success.  I called Gladiator that morning and by noon Phill arrive at the house.  He was very friendly and courteous.  Pretty quickly he discovered that the igniter was broken and had it fixed within an hour.  I would definitely use Gladiator again.

They repiped our house and installed RO filter and water softener, and then patched the wall perfectly. They even went above and beyond and replaced leaking parts of our water heater. We tested heavy metal and TDS in our water before/after and are very happy with the results! Would definitely recommend them to my friends!

My water main recently broke and required replacement.  In addition I had some galvanized spigots that needed to be replaced.

Gladiator was fast to come out and quote and their pricing was reasonable.  Installation went very well and the area where they dug up the yard to run the pipe is almost back to the way it was prior.  It took them a little over 1 day for the whole job and they were very quick to come back out and replace the new spigot valve handles with 1/4 turn valve handles.

The only issue that I had was that they left a large root over the new water main piping.  Over a certain size they are required to leave the root which I could see being a problem years down the line.   I did catch this and removed it myself prior to the city's final inspection.

Overall I would highly recommend!

Day 1 arrived on time @ 8:30 am & done by 4:30 pm, completed everything in one day! (minus wall patch). Day 2, City inspection. Day 3 drywall patch. Day 4 city permit final sign off and done, and no sub-contractors.

Super attention to detail and journeyman workmanship. Polite, communicative, punctual, very well coordinated. There were about 7 guys on the job, who focus on their segment, i.e.- a working supervisor, bathroom guy, under house guy, front yard trench guy, garage guy, etc. you get the idea. I had at least 4 vans on site, and when they ran into small issues, they had the part on the truck, and did not nickel and dime me for it, they just fixed it and kept rolling.

James (one of the three brothers) who is their site estimator took his time to explain all aspects of the job and what to expect.. He noticed that I used a cane and suggested that they could mount the outside faucets about 18 higher so I don't have to bend way over, this has worked out great and I truly appreciated his consideration.

All materials used are top notch quality and recognizable as such.

The repiping was the first part of an overall house remodel. If any plumbing reconfiguration issues come up during my remodel I'm calling Gladiator immediately because I want honest quality.

Ok so Ive had to call many plumbers to the house we currently live in and have honestly had nothing but problems with them. Leaving my place a mess, not really finishing the job correctly etc. This company is truly AMAZING! Joseph not only took his time and correctly fix all our issues here but he was a nice guy, informative, respectful and left my house clean! I finally found a plumbing company I can trust and is affordable and Im so thankful!

They are simply amazing! I hired them to repipe the whole house. They did an excellent job. I worked with Yuri, he was very responsive through out the project. Jose was project lead on the day of installation. He is also very nice person to work with. Installation team was very professional, they came on time and finished on time. Over all I'm very happy with their work.

Remodeled and updated an entire mid-century one story ranch home in Cupertino in 2016, requiring replacement of main water line from meter at the street, all fresh water lines, all drains, all drain vents, main drain to street, and water heater.  Also moved gas line to relocate furnace into the ceiling, and added new gas and water line in the kitchen, and new water lines, vents and drains for new powder and laundry rooms.  Solicited bids from the well-known local plumbing contractors, including several highly rated ones on Yelp.  Gladiator Repipe's bid was the most competitive, both in terms of cost and time.  

Using an army of about 20 plumbers and laborers and a fleet of trucks, all rough work was completed in two days.  Work was decent, especially considering their speed -- had to make a couple of corrections thereafter, which they did promptly and without issue.  They also fully supported several inspections -- rough and finish -- by both City of Cupertino Building Department and Cupertino Sanitary District.  All passed without issue.

Long after Gladiator Repipe's work was completed and they had been fully paid, our general contractor (Gladiator Repipe worked independently from general contractor) reported extra work being required - as a result of miscommunication between contractors.  Rather than pushing back or pointing fingers at the general contractor, Gladiator Repipe took the high road and compensated the general contractor for the extra work required, and also for a ladder that had gone missing on the job site, that was claimed to have been accidentally taken by one of the Gladiator Repipe workers months earlier... class moves, all the way around.

The company is run by the Bailey brothers.  They operate with honesty, integrity, and are genuinely nice guys. Highly recommended.

Gladiator Plumbing & Repipe just finished our copper repiping and drains lines replacement   projects on Monday 8/10/2015, and they honesty earned the 5-Star grading and more from us!. Too bad that there is no 10-Star grading, so for that we also give them a Perfect All-Stars Service award.

The main question is: If we have to do it again, shall we select Gladiator Plumbing & Repipe again?, and the answer is a Resounding YES!.

We hired Gladiator to repipe our house and replace our water heater.  Brian was our estimator and he went above and beyond to explain the process.  He gave us an entire folder with documentation and pictures explaining their process.  The best part was getting a price quote right on the spot.  The price is all inclusive so it includes parts, labor, permits and re-patching all the drywall.

Day 1 is the messiest and most stressful.  Here is where Brian's crew comes into your house and the dirty work gets done.  His crew of 4 repiped my entire house from 9am to 5:30pm.  They stress that they will never leave you without completely functioning plumbing before they leave.  His crew was fast, efficient, cleaned up after themselves and answered all my silly questions without compliant.

Day 2 is the rough inspection from the city.  Your plumbing is working at this point but you have large holes in your walls, so the inspector can check their work.  My inspector came into the garage and looked at the pipes for about 30 seconds.  He told me that this would pass inspection no problem!  He could immediately tell the quality of their work after just glancing at it.  He checked all the bathrooms, sinks and crawl space.  I passed with flying colors.

Day 3 They send 1 guy out to patch all your drywall holes.  They patch, tape, sand and retexture the walls.  All you have to do is paint.

Day 4 is final inspection and I of course passed with flying colors.

I highly recommend you at least get a quote from Gladiator.  They seem to care about the work they do and they have competitive pricing.  My only compliant is that I probably won't need any plumbing work for a long time, so I can't use them again!

I recently had Gladiator Repipe worked on replacing my water pipe. The old pipe was leaking and it was under a concrete slab. When I sent out a quote request through Yelp, Yuri responded right away and fit me right in. He was very friendly, listened to my issues and concern and gave me 2 options on how we can fix them. His price was very reasonable. And he is always very responsibe to all my questions and concerns. He had 2 crews coming to do the job. Jose and his teams did the whole repipe in 1 day. They worked very efficiently and explained the whole process to me. The second crew patched all the holes created during the repipe. This is a smaller crew so it took longer (2 days)  to finish the work. But they worked very thoroughly and neatly. All the different textures were matched nicely to its surrounding. Both crews did a very nice cleaning job too after they were done.  A week later, I found a small hole that was forgotten to be patched. I contacted Yuri and he responded right away. The next day they came and fix it right away!

We had our home re-piped late summer, but I am just getting to the review because this company deserves it! We initially got three quotes for the job, and Gladiator plumbing blew the other companies out of the water with their professionalism, integrity and their product. Don't be fooled by other companies that try to sell you cheap copper from overseas and quote you a  lower price and job length, because they won't deliver a good product or service.....

We wanted this done right with a thicker USA made copper pipe and a crew that are actually employees not subcontractors. The Gladiator team finished the job the same day and my husband and I are very pleased with the quality of workmanship and exceptional customer service!

This company and crew is awesome. We had a nightmare scenario right before New Years. All our drains backed up, and I looked in the crawl space and saw a major leak. A plumber came out that down and found 3 more leaks under the house. He told me I could pitch the problem or replace all the drains and take 4-5 days. I called James at Gladiator, he quoted me a lower price and said they'd get it done in a day. He assembled the full crew and they knocked it out on New Year's Eve and even helped with a couple other small issues while they were here, all at a low price!  They were friendly, responsive, clean, and walked me through all the work when they finished to make sure I was happy. I called multiple companies for re-pipe estimates on my home built in the 1960s I received a wonderful presentation from Gladiator Repipe the estimators name was Brian Bailey he explained the process very thoroughly and that's exactly what happen the day of the job he showed up the day of the job to ensure quality was happening on my job and made me feel great that one of the owners was active on the job From start to finish they were amazing I recommend gladiator re-pipe to all my friends and family.

Overall, had an outstanding experience with Gladiator. Their prices for a whole house copper repipe + water heater replacement was very competitive against other companies.

What sold me was the professionalism from Brian as well as the crew that came out to do the actual repipe.

Brian came out and did the estimate and also checked in with us throughout the repipe (1 day repipe, 1 day inspection, 1 day patching). When I noticed that some of the holes and vent screens didn't get patched, they sent someone out the next day.

I recently had a leaky water heater so it was time to call a plumber.

we called another plumbing company, they sent out a tech who wrote up an estimate for 1500 and he said that was just a ball park.
I wasn't to sure about lose numbers,because i do estimating for a living so i know that customers need a solid numbers!

I decided to call Gladiator and spoke to a nice lady named Cynthia.
i explained my issues and concerns and she said she would send me an estimate. without sending a tech. (?) the quote came in lower than the other company.

Reached out to gladiator Plumbing and repipe and they were able to get the problem resolved within 6 hours of my reaching out to their company... I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the individual that came out to service my business and I was extremely pleased with their pricing... These guys are very responsive, professional and responsible. We did the whole house repipe with them (drain, water supply, water heater, etc) and a crew of 3 or 4 plumbers did all these work within two days during Thanks giving holiday week! Yuri has been very helpful with all our requests and didn't charge us for some extra fixes we found out during the repipe. The price is reasonable with the amount of work they've been done for my house. Oh, even afterwards we found some other issues with the house, they sent out someone to look into the issues next day for free! Will definitely keep using them going forward!

The pricing, service and experience were all A+!  We got three quotes and didnt need the other two.  The logic and experience really showed, both in the quoting and options available.  They even followed up after a month to make sure everything was as hoped. Highly recommend.

My house needed a repipe, I called the top 3 rated repipe companies on Yelp.  Spoke with someone named Yuri.  All 3 got back to me promptly,  but Gladiator was the only one that didn't show up for the scheduled estimate, and no phone call either.  So I went elsewhere. I'm kind of surprised with all the positive reviews.  Oh well, maybe I'll give them another try when I need another repipe in about 30 years.

So not surprised that this company has fantastic ratings. I couldn't be more happy with their services! I originally called to have a new spigot put in in the front yard. After discussing a few of my concerns, with Joe, about a recent spike in my water bill. He was able to find some pipes that were eroded. This was a totally unexpected emergency but I was quoted a fair price -- best part was I was not pressured into going with this company for the repair. I, of course, did choose Gladiator to do the job; I felt that they were completely honest and competent. So glad they were able to catch the problem before it turned into a BIG problem. I would totally recommend their services to anyone that needs any plumbing related work!

I called Gladiator to install 3 Toto toilets. They showed up 15 minutes early and installed all of the toilets quickly. They cleaned up and were very professional and for a very fair price. I definitely recommend them!

A guy named Jim came out to fix my leaky filtered water line and did an outstanding job + a little extra that was not part of the quote.  
He fixed the leak, but then he also tied/tacked up the extra water lines underneath the cabinet which made look very organized instead of a bunch of water line all twisted up -- he didn't have to do this, but he wanted to leave the job looking professionally complete -  I ended up with more space underneath my cabinet - yeah!

I discovered a problem with an orange silt in my hot water when the aerators started plugging up.  I checked the cold water in the house and the water coming into the house and they were both running clear.  I did not know if it was coming from the water heater or where.  Joe showed up this morning and determined that the silt was coming from the water heater and flushed it out for me.  I asked him, What do I owe you for this?  He said, Just a big smile.  And I sure gave him one.  Gladiator is on the top of my list of plumbers.

The best plumbers in town!! I needed to convert my shower drain from a 1.5 to a 2 pipe. Joe came out day of and gave me a quote - the next day, Julio came out to perform the work. He was on time and completed the work faster than anticipated, so they charged me a lot less than the quote. These guys are the most honest, hard-working folks I've seen in the business! 10+ all around!

I bought a Groupon to have my kitchen garbage disposal replaced.  They were accommodating with scheduling and Jacob got it installed super quick.  Sadly, when I ran my dishwasher, water came spewing out of the air gap.  I sent them an after-hours message and got a call and email the next day offering a same-day appointment to fix it.  Though that appointment didn't work, they were, once again accommodating with my busy schedule and it got fixed super quick without a hitch.  It's running smoothly, and so is my dishwasher.  I couldn't be happier with their friendly. polite, and expert help.

One of the dilemmas that I've faced over time is finding a reliable, affordable and trustworthy Plumbing professional.  Joseph is all of the 3.  Very upfront and honest with the right price, I can't say enough about Gladiator.  Had a real issue with our laundry and Kitchen sink drainage and it was fixed  not just bandaged like other plumbers have done in the past.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We just bought a home in the San Jose area and needed to find someone who could pipe in a water and gas line for our washer and dryer.  We called around and had several not so great experiences- such as one company quoting us over the phone without even bothering to come out.  Oddly enough, we were recommended to call Gladiator by several different sources, and that's who we went with.  Joe came out to take a look, was punctual (actually, he was early), and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.  He took the time to make sure we understood what he would recommend doing, while leaving it up to us to decide the extent of the work we wanted to do at this time. It was great to have some options laid out for you, and to know exactly what you were paying for.  After discussing our options the office sent out a contract for us letting us know what would be done and the cost, and they came very shortly after to start the work!  Everything went very smoothly.  They seemed comfortable explaining what they were doing as they were doing it, and paired up with us frequently to check how we would like something done, or where we would want something placed.  It was very comforting to know that they cared that we were 100% happy with the results.  Any questions we had were answered thoroughly, and they all very obviously enjoyed their job.  It sounds like a minor thing, but seeing how they worked together and the overall cheerfulness of each of them was very impressive and spoke volumes about the company.  When they were done, they cleaned up after themselves and were on their way.

Our biggest concern was finding someone trust-worthy, because really, when someone comes into your home and crawls under your house to do some work, how can you know it's done correctly? Needless to say when the work was completed, everything was done to perfection, and the price we paid was more than fair for the amount of work and materials.  If you are looking for quality plumbing and great service, these are your guys!  Thanks a bunch!

Great work! So let's start with the estimate.  I called four plumbing companies and they are by far the most detailed and through estimate of all of them.  One company never sent and estimate and another gave an estimate 2x higher than I paid for Gladiator.  James came by for the estimate and took his time explaining what needed to be done and also why things needed to be done.  So it was a pretty easy choice to select them.  So the day came for the repipe and an army of guys showed up, they completed the replacement in one day.  During the repipe they found the waste lines were also needing to be replaced (pipes were corroded and leaking), so got the additional estimate that day and they scheduled me for the following day to replace those lines. So in two days I had all new plumbing in the house (60 yr old house with original pipes).  Also the guys that came in and did the patching of the drywall, amazing work they textured the patches so it matched exactly what was there before.  Other than having to paint the patches you can't tell there was a hole there before.

So if you're looking for quality work these are the guys to call.  They are not the cheapest, but but do tremendous work in a short period of time.

Joe showed up to our house on-time and from the moment he walked in, we were impressed.  He was knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, he cares about the quality of his work and customer satisfaction. My wife particularly liked that he took the time to put on shoe covers before coming in the house and I appreciated that he explained what he was doing to every step of the way.

Well I had one review in the past 4 years, so for me to get the motivation to write my 2nd is saying a lot.  I have worked with a number of contractors over the years, some good, many bad.  James and Joe (brothers) both exceeded my expectations throughout the process of installing my new gas line at my home.  It started with James, as he was very responsive to all emails and texts up to and after the  time he came by to take my estimate.  He was very friendly when he came by for the estimate, and did a good job of selling his business (without seeming like a sales person).  He gave a number of suggestions while he met with me, and in the end he put together a quote on-site so there was no waiting a day or more for the price.  I met with a few other piping companies, and their price was competitive with them all.    Someone called me up a day after i signed the contract, and scheduled my appointment for the following week.  Joe was the one that came by that day to do the actual work.  He worked with me to come up with the most aesthetic way of running the gas line to its destination keeping the decor in mind.  He started and finished when he said he would, and was very friendly/courteous throughout.  I have even had a few follow up questions, and every time answered quickly.  I know going forward, I will use these guys anytime i have a piping issue/project, and will recommend them when I can.  I go through a lot of due diligence when selecting someone to work with on my home, so hopefully I can put some minds to ease with this review, as i give my full recommendation for them.

All the positive reviews are right!  Gladiator was recommended to me by a leak detection specialist who found the source of my high water bills -- a failed main line pipe by shutoff valve on the house foundation.  James contacted me within hours and explained the possible issues and solutions, including repair vs. replacement options. His technicians were on-site the next day, two hours earlier than expected. Friendly, attentive, prompt, professional and competent...Can't ask for more.

I called Gladiator plumbing to come out and check out a leak coming from our water heater.  Joe and Jacob came out within half an hour of my call and the guys were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.  They gave us a free estimate and explained everything in full detail.  We scheduled an appointment for the next day to replace the water heater and we were told it was a 4 hour job.  Joe came out and finished in 2 and a half hours!  He showed us how to do the maintenance needed to make the water heater last as long as possible.  Everything works great and there are no more leaks!  I would highly recommend Gladiator plumbing to anyone and will definitely use them of any other issues come up in the future.  Thanks guys!

I had a major leak coming from my tub and water was falling outside, off of my roof. These guys were nice enough to come the same day... tested the issue, and then sent a repair crew to fix the issue the next day. James Bailey was so knowledgable and reassuring. Bailey and his brother own the company; they are Italian plumbers, and strikingly resemble Mario and Luigi.. lol. I will always use this company.

The service was good but the only thing which I did not like was the price. When I called in the morning, I was never informed that there will a additional service charge for the part. for e.g. The part was $25 and they charged me $40. There was other charge of $15 too. Please double check the price before booking.

Yuri did the estimate, and Jose and his team came to repipe. Overall, good work quality. Yuri and Jose are both easy to work with and respond quickly.  Five stars.

Had a leek i couldn't find. They sent out Noor very nice and polite saw the leak right away and tightened up an outside valve. Really great service!

Extremely happy with Joe and the service call he just finished for me. Not only did he show up just an hour after I called but he showed me how to clean out two of the my sinks that were backing up so i wouldn't have to call them again next time it happened. They also replaced a leaking kitchen faucet and bathroom fixed a bathroom sink leak. Quickly and at a super reasonable price. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

My husband called Gladiator Plumbing to fix the spigot on the front of the house. Joe came out looked at the spigot and went to get parts. He was back in 20 minutes and started working. He replaced the new spigot and said he was using thicker copper than usual because it will last many years longer. He got the work done, the spigot works and is better than before. I would definitely recommend Gladiator Plumping.

Noor and Alex are amazing and very professional did a fantastic job on our rain shower and drain.  They also checked our low water pressure, which was due to the electric water heater that was not working correctly I was unaware that these water heaters required maintenance every 6-months to keep the water pressure normal.  In addition, they are going to do an overhaul on the unit since we've had this electric water heater for over 4-years and had no maintenance done as required and we were never informed from the previous plumbing service that installed the unit that this maintenance was required every 6-months.  As well as the exhaust system for the electric water heater that is corroding and needs to be replaced.  They also do drywall and other helpful handyman projects, which is very helpful to myself, which is not my forte.  I highly recommend Gladiator they can do everything that is required as a plumbing service and as well as handyman service.  One stop shop!  Thanks Noor and Alex.

This is a follow up to my previous review.  I still give Noor the thumbs up.  He called ahead of time to confirm he would be onsite to start the work and was on-time.  First day in, he was able to pull out the snake that was stuck in the pipe.  So he was pretty accurate in his assumption of where the snake was located and what it might be stuck on. Kudos to him for being able to resolve problem #1.  Problem #2 was there was still a clog in the pipe.  He came out day 2 with his snake to clear the line. In doing so, he pulled out another huge root that was growing in our pipes.  After that the water flowed through the pipe as expected.  Day 3, Noor came out to complete the installation of the clean out and clean up the area.  He did a fantastic job.  I would recommend Gladiator, specifically Noor, in the future as they were able to resolve my plumbing problems with someone who was knowledgeable and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage.  Thank you Noor!

Gladiator did an EXCELLENT job.  I found them from recommendations on Nextdoor and was not disappointed.   They came out, did an assessment of what needed to be done, recommended what to do and got back immediately with an estimate that was reasonable, in plain English we could understand.  When they told us they could re-pipe our aging 2 story house in a day we were skeptical but the entire team showed up on time and were done by the end of the day.  They worked so hard, prepped the entire house so nothing got dirty and cleaned up at the end of the day and you would never know they were there.  We were so impressed.   We now have water pressure and all new fixtures they brought and installed for us.  And they carried away the old stuff!!  From the sales call to the end result all was fantastic.

Jame's and Brian's team did great jobs to repipe my rental property at San Jose. They finished the whole house repipe and outside main line repipe in one day, and it passed city inspection in the second day. I asked 3 companies' quotes and this company gave me the best bid. Their price is very competitive. I am impressed by their job quality, efficiency, price, and service. I strongly recommend them and I will use them again in the future!

We wanted to add a new gas line in to add a gas stove top and gas dryer at our new home. Brian came over and provided us with a reasonable quote and i booked them the same day for next day service. He arrived with he's crew and the city permit first thing in the morning! I am impressed with the professionalism as well as the friendly personality Brian, Jose and he's guys provided. We had some issues but Brian has been super responsive in getting things taken care of! We just found out additional plumbing issues and will be proceeding with them. Let me tell you about this company, overall excellent. I had my whole house redone in copper including new water heater, added water softener, laundry box and water filter system for the whole house. From the management of the Bailey brothers and the contractors who btw dressed in company shirts, to the inspections went flawlessly. The communication was on point, any questions I had were answered. While the contractors were under my house they not only inspected the pipes but also the sewer and gas lines. They did notice a leak in my sewer line to my bathroom and were able to replace it. This company I totally recommend to anyone who needs work done on their plumbing. One thing I would like to note even though they were pipping my house and almost complete, my neighbors who were around noticed the work they were doing, had asked if they had any time to replace their main water valve in their front, with no doubt, the owner and contractor were able to fit them in at the same time and get it done. Both myself and my neighbors truly appreciate the work they completed and on time. One more thing i would like to mention is I received my permit for all the work done along with the water heater. Awesome service at a very reasonable price!  I would HIGHLY recommend Gladiator Plumbing and Repipe for any plumbing needs.  The plumbing repairman, Julio, showed up on time and explained what he was going to do.  Basically, he repaired a ball valve and a bunch of rusted galvanized pipes.  He did an outstanding job and was very professional.  I called a bunch of other plumbers who didn't return my call or were too difficult to work with on my problem.  It's is very difficult to find a good plumber who actually returns phone calls.  I will always call Gladiator Plumbing & Repipe for all my plumbing issues.

Did  a great job on replacing my water line from the street to the house. I was impressed by the way they did it with minimal disruption to landscaping and driveway.  Competitive quote, then 5 days later they showed up and did the work in 1/2 day. Impressive.

Called Gladiator to fix a leak in the crawl space under my kitchen and they were out at the house the next day.  After a quick inspection, they decided to fix it on the spot.  Despite the problem not being as simple as it originally appeared, they got it fixed in a couple of hours for a very reasonable price.  Will absolutely call them the next time I need a plumber.

I recently purchased a home that was aprox 60 years old, all of the plumbing needed to be upgraded, water and sewage lines both throughout the house all the way to the street. Gladiator came out and inspected all the plumbing under the house as well as inspecting the main sewer line with a camera out to the city line.  Many problems were noted and solid recommendations were suggested and very fare pricing was quoted to me. I also received quotes from other contractors for comparability, Gladiator Plumbing & Repipe offered the most competitive pricing for all stages. I went with Gladiator Plumbing and Repipe and am very happy I did so.  The work was completed in several stages, always done on the same day as started so there wasn't a time I went without water or sewage drainage overnight. Permits were also needed and Gladiator handled this process also, so the jobs were seamless for me with no worries - a turn key job every time. If any thing was noted by the city inspector, Gladiator Plumbing & Repipe got right on it and inspector was very happy with all work performed. Now all the work is done, everything!  It's like I have a brand new house with the plumbing and sewage lines all the way to the street.  The best part was all the employees and workmanship, they were fantastic! All employees were very friendly and accommodating as the different processes were completed, starting with the manager & estimator throughout every plumber and worker.  The workmanship was the very best, you can't even tell there was any work done inside the house, and any place you can see piping it's obvious the work was performed by very skilled plumbers - even the city inspector was impressed with workmanship. I had an issue with my toilet and was referred to Gladiator through a friend. Joe came out and quickly assessed the issue (I don't really understand plumbing so I can't explain well). I was immediately impressed with how friendly and nice he was. He informed me it would be a simple fix and even had the necessary parts on him already! The whole matter was taken care of in no time, and was really inexpensive. If I need a plumber in the future, I know who to call!

We had a plumbing emergency when our waterline burst and SJWC shutdown our water. Even though, it was a long weekend and most plumbing contractors are off for the weekend or extremely busy, Gladiator Plumbing and Repipe came to our rescue. We received bids from multiple contractors. After in-home estimates and discussing the work, we decided to hire Gladiator. They were professional, prompt and worked efficiently. Our water was restored in a couple of hours. They did the job with necessary permit, they also scheduled the inspection with the city. The job was done correctly, and there is very little indication that we ever had any waterline repair done :) They are good and worth the $ paid.

These guys are the best. Rarely have I encountered a home repair business that operated as competently and professionally. We had our home repiped  by Gladiator. Five guys showed up at 9 am and by 3:30, our old pipes had been removed and the new copper pipes were installed and working. They cleaned up after themselves beautifully and completely. The price was fair too and below the price I was quoted by others. They have my absolute recommendation.

Our water heater went on the outs last night, drained completely, and so we had no hot water. I put out the word to neighbors that we needed recommendations, and a few trickled in. But when I reviewed them on yelp, they didn't fare well enough. So I did a deeper dive and saw that Gladiator had stellar reviews, and I called at 7 a.m. James answered immediately and asked me to text him some photos and measurements, which I did pronto. He could tell from the pics and data that the 50-gallon I hoped to get wouldn't fit. No problem; I appreciated knowing up front so we could get the job handled asap. And within 10 minutes we had an appointment set up for this afternoon. Joe and Philip showed up on time and had our old water heater out and a new one installed in no time. I think they were here about an hour. They were diligent, focused, professional, and pleasant. We anticipate no problems, of course, but if there are any, the labor warranty is two years. They sincerely want to be the best at what they do and provide excellent customer service. So far so good. Thank you James, Joe, and Philip!

We recently hired Gladiator to do a repipe of the water lines at our house. We have lived here for a year and knew when we bought it that the galvanized steel pipes were nearly 70 years old and well past their intended lifespan. James came to do the estimate and was very thorough, explaining every bit of the process and answering all of my questions. We booked the work and everything was done in a highly professional manner from start to finish. Jose managed the job and kept me posted about how it all was going. Every time someone had to be at our house, they were there when they said they would be (occasionally even early, so be sure you plan for that!) -- this is a first in my experience of nearly 10 years of home owning and hiring professionals. Once at our house to do the water line work, they identified multiple major issues with the drains as well and showed me photos they had taken in the crawl space. It was too late to add that to the work that day, so we scheduled them to come back the next week for that job. All of the water line work was done in a single day. The second day the city inspector came out and on the third day they sent out the guys to repair all the drywall. Basically the same process for the drains. All of the guys on the crew were professional, pleasant, and respectful. They covered up not only all the floors they were going to walk on, but also covered up the TV, computers, range and shelves in the kitchen. They did an excellent job of keeping everything neat. They even tossed in a few minor things with gas lines that we knew were a problem at no charge. From start to finish this was a great experience. We forgot to have them hook up the new water connection to our refrigerator for the ice maker, and Joe (one of the brother co-owners) came back out a few days later after we'd paid them the last check to hook it up for us. I'm female and I managed this job from the estimate to the last dry wall repair and I was pleasantly surprised that I was treated by everyone on the job like I was capable of making decisions. Even on the few occasions that my husband was present, no one instantly started deferring to him about the job; they knew I was in charge and they treated me that way. I've had this happen in the past when hiring people to work at my house -- where people would only talk to my husband -- and it's very frustrating. But Gladiator was great. We also had an estimate from another plumber that was actually more and they weren't going to take care of as many of the details as Gladiator did. Repiping is just an expensive thing to have done. And hiring Gladiator was totally worth it.

I truly can not say enough about these guys. They EARN their 5 stars rating. I stand by my word and would give them 100 stars if I could. It says a lot about a company on how they treat their customers AFTER the job is completed. So, they completed the repipe to my new house in Feb. 2015 and some time in August we noticed a leak coming from the 2nd story master bath down into the laundry room. They didn't just send someone out once, but three times to make sure the issue was resolved. Leaks are tricky. Some of them quite obvious, others are not so much. We had the latter. So, it took three tries to figure it out. Each time the employees were professional and made sure they wore shoe covers and they did their best to find the leak. Turns out, the leak wasn't even a pipe or drain issue, but a bad tile job. The last time Joe came out himself and was so patient and thorough in helping me find the cause of the leak once he established that it wasn't the pipes or drains. For each time they came out, they didn't charge me a dime. NOT ONE DIME. That says a lot about the company. They truly stand by their work and CARE about their customers. My main source of contact has been with James and I just can not say enough about how great he handles everything! Everything was always done in a timely manner. I really felt like I had family taking care of me. I would never hesitate to recommend them! To the Gladiator team: THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking such good care of me! I love you guys!! hired these guys, they were available on a short notice for somewhat emergency job. there were some internal communication issues, hence not 5 stars.  the owner stepped in and called us to straighten some of the communication problems, which was a nice gesture (he also saved 1 star). happy with the work.

I hired Gladiator Plumbing when I ran into some plumbing issues doing a remodel in my condo. I needed a shower valve cartridge replaced, a couple new angle stops installed, and a new garbage disposal put in. I was pleasantly surprised when Joe Bailey, one of the owners of the company, came out to perform the work himself. This is the kind of hands on ownership I like to see when I hire a local company to do work for me. I was not disappointed. Joe showed up on time, performed the work well beyond my expectations, and completed the job quickly and on budget. When he left, it was like he was never there. The job site was clean and his work was terrific! Most impressive was his knowledge of local building codes and the right way to plumb.
