Today Dimitar saved the day....I had been dealing with other companies to get my water heater replaced but they were all too expensive and/or unreliable. As soon as I got in touch with Dimitar I was able to set up an appointment at my earliest convenience. He was very good at communicating and very punctual. When he came to my house for my free assessment not only was he super helpful but also explained everything and came prepared to get the job done right away, which made my experience with his company that much better. Overall he did an amazing job, and I am extremely satisfied with his work. Lastly, I do not think any other company beats his work ethic and price.

I had a very disappointing experience with Montiny plumbing.

The good:
They were very responsive
They were willing to fit my repairs in even though they were fully booked
They were respectful
I gave them bad information that the leak was clean water (it didn't stink like sewage) so we didn't have the chance to discuss prices ahead of time.

The bad:
They diagnosed a leak for me and estimated the fix at $1800 and specifically said this was not a failed wax ring. They charged $175 for the leak detection which is free with many other plumbers.
I got 3 additional quotes virtual and in person, all said it was a failed wax ring.
I went with one of those plumbers and paid less to fix the problem than I paid Montiny to diagnose it.
I requested a full or 50% refund because either their diagnosis was dishonest or incorrect. They refused and maintained the wax ring wouldn't fix it.
I said I would wait a week to see if there were any issues before repairing the access hole they cut. I waited 3 weeks - the new wax ring fixed the issue.

I called Henry's Plumbing on discovering a major water leak this morning, after my two regular plumbers could not fit our emergency into their schedules today.
The source of the leak was methodically located and the pipe promptly repaired efficiently and at a very reasonable cost - we will definitely be using Henry's services for all our plumbing needs in the future. Highly recommend.

The best in the biz miss quoted me however honoring his price and still did the job. Thanks for everything

Kenny was extremely professional and courteous. He tested the water and provided a range of possible solutions. Installation of the water softener was scheduled for just a few days later. John was on-time and did an extremely professional job; almost a work of art with copper. The equipment is commercial level and first rate; substantially higher quality than the failed water softener that I'd purchased and installed from a big-box store just a very few years ago. If you're looking for water treatment solutions for your home or business these are the people to call.

Plumber Mike is great.  He came out and fixed what two previous plumbers were unable to do.  Reasonable prices, no BS, and Mike is extremely knowledgeable. I sent him a text of my broken Kohler faucet, and he got everything together to fix on his first visit.  Highly recommend

Bob got our bathroom drain unclogged in less than 10 minutes for $87! Effective & efficiently. He gave a recommendation on how to keep the drains maintained. He also waited patiently for me to get cash because I didn't realize he didn't accept credit cards. Thanks Bob!

This company is how all businesses should be run! From my 1st call to them to the final installation of a Tankless Water-heater was nothing but the highest degree of excellence. Friendly, efficient and professional. The quality of workmanship should be an example for all craftsman. JD along with his assistant worked all day doing the job right, taking no shortcuts, leaving the area cleaner than they found it. I have found through Yelp the only plumbing company I will use - Pure Plumbing Co.! Just had Bryce from VIP Sewer and Drain service come out to clear a clogged kitchen drain.  He was very professional and courteous while also providing really valuable recommendations on how to avoid clogging the drain in the future.  The cost was more than reasonable and I appreciate the difficulty in clearing the drain due to the immense buildup.  Bryce also recommended hydro jetting in the future if the clog does return.   He thoroughly explained the process to me and said although I don't need it now after the service, it's just something to to keep in mind if the drains start to back up again.  Appreciate Bryce and VIP Sewer and Drain.  Will be utilizing and recommending them for all future drain issues.

Lesson learned when you have a plumbing problem....call in the professionals. Switching out a mixer in a shower  sounds easy..Right? After breaking the valve off from the copper pipes on a Sunday it was time to find a plumber. The reviews certainly helped make the decision to call Top Notch plumbing first thing on Monday am. Within 10 minutes of leaving a voice message, my call was returned and Gordon was out by 9:30. He was friendly, professional, and very neat! got the job done quickly and at a fair price. No one likes to deal with plumbing issues, but now I know who to call..Top Notch plumbing.

They have the best customer service. The lady is very rude, unprofessional and needs a job that she doesn't hate. I had called regarding a job and getting an on-site estimate from them. They scheduled an appointment for the next day. The next day comes and goes, as I had to call them inquiring about an appointment they scheduled, when it was a no-show and they didn't even have the common courtesy to call me saying they won't be able to make it, after waiting the 2-hour window. I would not recommend them to anyone as this is highly unprofessional.

My husband saw the Simpex truck at one of our neighbors in our community and took a picture, so we could check their Yelp reviews, and further information, before choosing their company for our re-piping.
We had seen the Repipe 1 truck in our community several times, thus Simpex was new to us.
We decided to repipe and scheduled Repipe 1 and Simpex for the job estimate.
We chose Simpex, after reading the Yelp reviews, and compared to Repipe 1, their estimate was more reasonable and fit our budget.
Simpex is a very professional company with a very experienced staff.
They are very well organized from the estimator to all the different teams and their specialty:  Repiping Team, Dry Wall Team, Wall Texture Team.
All the different teams involved, are well coordinated, very professional, hard working and take great pride in doing an excellent job, which reflects in the end result:  EXCELLENT WORK, as our City Inspector, also told us more than once, on the day of the inspection.
We are very pleased with Simpex's repiping job, it met our expectations and more.
We highly recommend Simpex for your re-piping job, you will be very pleased with their work, as we are.

***BUYER BEWARE*****  

I spoke to Devin in late December as I had a leak in a pipe that was accessible through the stucco of the exterior of my home.  Devin assured me that they were a 1 stop shop.  They could fix the leak and re-stucco the wall.   His partner even said you wouldn't even know we were here.   If this business had comedians, it would get 5 stars.    This was the biggest lie I was ever told.  

Day 1 Devin's team shows up late.   They cut open the wall and then assess the issue.   They then took at least 5 trips to Home Depot for parts. After hours of trying to correct the problem, they had to admit they did not know what they were doing and call what I am hoping was a real plumber to finish the job.   This took almost 10 hours.

The following day, they again showed up late, and knowing they were there to do stucco work, they still had to make a trip to Home Depot.   When I went to check to see how the work was going, I could tell they had no idea what they were doing.   They had retrieved a Lucky Charms box out of the recycle can and were using it as a trowel to apply the stucco and to get it to stick to the wall.  

I was told by his brother that they would be back the next day to paint.   They had even gone to Home Depot again and got matching paint.    Well, I contacted Devin because they didn't show up the next day.   Devin told me they need the stucco to dry, and they would be by to paint in a few weeks.   We'll that has now turned into 4 months.   The stucco is awful. There are cracks everywhere from where they applied it.    

I did get ahold of Devin once since and he promised me that he would come out himself to look at the issue.    Well, he was a no-show to our appointment.  

I attempted to settle this issue privately and allow Devin to remedy this situation.  Yet Devin continues to ignore my calls and texts.  

Please save your hard earned money and time and if you have a plumbing issue select someone who is more reputable and takes pride in their work.

We used KC and his team for extensive upgrades to our 1950s Point Loma home: new kitchen, bath, laundry room, and a tankless water heater - which I love! They were professional and amiable. And KC was always patient while answering my barrage of questions. I'm pleased to finally find a plumber I can trust. Thank you!
