John and his entire team were excellent! On time, professional, personable, and skilled. From the office manager to the field personnel and the sales team, they delivered superior service. We had to turn off the gas during our kitchen remodel and then could not get the water heater pilot re-lit after turning the gas back on. I requested a quote (at 9 p.m.) via Yelp and Dimitar, the owner, responded within 10 minutes, scheduled an appointment for the next morning and arrived promptly. He diagnosed the problem quickly (a clogged gas line) and fixed it in a few minutes for a very reasonable fee. Excellent, responsive and honest -- deserves the highest marks for service and honesty. Thank you, Dimitar!

I had a very disappointing experience with Montiny plumbing.

The good:
They were very responsive
They were willing to fit my repairs in even though they were fully booked
They were respectful
I gave them bad information that the leak was clean water (it didn't stink like sewage) so we didn't have the chance to discuss prices ahead of time.

The bad:
They diagnosed a leak for me and estimated the fix at $1800 and specifically said this was not a failed wax ring. They charged $175 for the leak detection which is free with many other plumbers.
I got 3 additional quotes virtual and in person, all said it was a failed wax ring.
I went with one of those plumbers and paid less to fix the problem than I paid Montiny to diagnose it.
I requested a full or 50% refund because either their diagnosis was dishonest or incorrect. They refused and maintained the wax ring wouldn't fix it.
I said I would wait a week to see if there were any issues before repairing the access hole they cut. I waited 3 weeks - the new wax ring fixed the issue.

I have used Henry a couple times for smaller jobs. Based on some quotes I got from other companies, Henry appears to charge about half and does a quality job.
He is a one man show so you have to be a little patient with the communication, but you will be very satisfied in the end.  I highly recommend!

Need drain work?  Look no further.  You have found the vendor you are looking for.  Seriously.

Carlos is gold.  Family owned and operated business.  He's a good person and values relationships.  When you call CM, you are getting the founder of the business servicing you personally.

His prices are easily HALF or less of the going market rate. He doesn't look for ways to screw you when you're in need (like changing his hourly rate when you need service most).  

But, most importantly of all, he does DAMN good work and uses the absolute best equipment available.  He's been in the business a long time and realized that specializing in hydro-jet work and buying the best equipment available and doing the work himself would put him in the position to do great work for people at a great price, and have a good time doing it.

Just call these guys and stop thinking about it.  Your house will thank you.  The only thing you will regret is not calling him sooner.

If your drain is clogged -- let's stop for a moment and look at your typical alternatives--

Call a regular plumber and get your pipe snaked.  This is what most people do.  The guy will show up and run his attachment on the drill and get the drain to unclog.  This won't really clean your pipes, but it will give you a quick fix.  The work will be overpriced, given that the job does not require much effort/skill and doesn't make use of any sophisticated equipment.  The guy will be in and out and make a quick buck.  Your clog will likely come back.

Call one of the typical fancy logo'd van rip-off plumber operations ... pay the big price for the big name, so they can send the B team there (who's getting paid the minimum, and likely doesn't have much experience) to either do what said regular plumber guy above would do, but charge you 2X-3X.... OR they will actually just call a guy like Carlos, and charge you 3-4X what he is charging them.  Trust me.  It's true.  

Yes, that is right.  If you aren't getting a quick snake job, chances are they are calling in a 3rd party like Carlos to do hydro-jet work and marking it up a TON.  Just go direct.  Call CM.

If you don't know what the heck a hydro-jet is - think about it like this - it's like an intense pressure washer cleaning the inside of all your drain pipes... whereas a snake is like drilling a hole through whatever is stuck in your pipe.  Big difference.  The hydro-jet can clean all your house drains and go all the way out to the city sewer, cleaning your underground main drain line along the way.  Carlos can also run a camera through the system while he's doing it so you can take a look at the state of affairs inside your plumbing.   And in a place like San Diego, where you have some serious mineral deposit risks from the city water, this is a good idea.  

And let me say this - I have NO affiliation with this business, and I spoke with 5-10 different plumbers on a Saturday morning, and Carlos had every drain in my house, along with the main underground drain line going out to the city... all clean as a whistle, by Saturday afternoon.  

I've worked with contractors for about 20 years at this point, and I've done whole house rebuilds.. and I can say this much - finding people like Carlos and CM Jetting is just a godsend.  These are the types of vendors that you hang on to for life and recommend to all your friends.  Trust me, I know.  I've been through it all, from dealing with the best to the worst.

We had a fantastic experience w/Rayne. We worked with Donnie (sales) and Joe (installer) and were impressed by both of them. First contact was at the Del Mar Fair, where we scheduled a home visit. The person at the fair was helpful and friendly.

Sales experience:
Donnie came to our house for a home visit and was personable, courteous, knowledgeable, and didn't use any hard sell/pushy methods. He listened to our goals and concerns, and provided a clear summary of here's what we do, how we do it, and why we believe our system is the best balance of cost/benefit to meet your needs. Really a pleasant and informative experience.

In contrast we also talked to the company that Costco offers, and from the moment the sales person arrived it felt like a focused sell effort, less interested in listening to our needs, and mostly focused on delivering a scripted sales pitch. Their eventual quote for a water softening system was over twice the cost of the Rayne system.

Obviously we went w/the Rayne system. Water softening w/charcoal filtering.

Install Experience:
We had a complicated install due to limited space in our garage and difficulties due to the layout of our utility room where the drain needed to be located. Joe was our installer and he saved the day and worked out a great, simple install approach that managed all of our issues and allowed us to add the system w/the least amount of expense and complication. Just can't say enough about how Joe turned our install headache into an install success.

We've had the system in place for about three weeks now and it's working without any issues or problems. Would choose Rayne again in a hearbeat.

Mike is a great plumber! Honest, fair, clean worker and fast.  He helped us quickly, to resolve a plumbing emergency before hosting a huge party.  We are very grateful and recommend him to anyone who wants a great plumber.

So...when your husband gets excited about using his juicer and accidentally puts too much pulp down the kitchen sink and gets it clogged and after attempts at fixing it yourself to no avail..what to do?!! Luckily, we were referred to Cobra Rooter and we are so glad we were! Bob, the owner, made an appointment for a visit quickly and remedied the issue at a very reasonable price. Not only did Bob take his time to make sure the issue was fixed and all was working properly before he left, he also took the time to give us pointers on how not for this issue to happen again. You can tell Bob takes pride in his company and goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are happy and back up and running quickly! Thank you Bob!! Just bought the house and the first rain led to backyard flooding.  I chose VIP because of their up front pricing transparency and the great reviews they had.  They arrived on time, we agreed to a plan of action and pay scale, and they finished the job efficiently so I didn't have to pay any more than the original quote.  Excellent friendly service.  Highly recommended.

Farhad was amazing.  I hired him to replace my kitchen faucet.  Not only his price was reasonable, he went beyond my expectations.  

He noticed that my drain wasn't draining quickly, so at no extra cost, he completely disssembled the plumbing including garbage disposal & cleaned out all the gunk.  He did all this with big smile & without asking for additional charge.

He is a truly nice gentleman & seems to take pride in his work.  I've also noticed that he is incredibly thorough & methodical.

Same day repair is what I love and appreciate. I called this company in the morning and 3 hours later plumber Eugen came to my house. As it turned out, my problem wasn't easy and it took about two hours of hard work. The result is amazing! Everything works and I can use my sink again. Eugen is professional, friendly, polite and hardworking man. I highly recommend this awesome company to everyone!

Prince Charmin came to my rescue on Jan. 1, 2023. We had a sewage issue in our home just after midnight on New Year's day. Devin was the only person who was available on New Year's day with a very fair price on a holiday weekend. He arrived to my home the same day just a couple of hours after we spoke on the phone. He and his crew arrived earlier than expected which was awesome. He even had the foresight to contact a water damage restoration company on our behalf to be present as well after hearing that  sewage had flowed out of the bathroom into the adoining room. Calling a water restoration company was not even something I had even begun to consider with everything else that was going on at home. Amazing service by a great company javier which came out to look at a drain stoppage that I had was very clean respectful and knowledgeable about plumbing one thing that amazed me was taking his time to wear shoe booties and put containment down to not dirty our home he walked me through the process step by step and fixed our problem he answered all questions we had and charged a reasonable price highly recommended for plumbing
