My property manager called to fix a leaky faucet a few weeks ago which I wasn't made aware of till now. When I saw they paid $496 I immediately thought something was off. I called to inquire why it was so high. I was told that in addition to the hour of labor I was charged for an hour of drive time. Out of the many times I've used plumbers I have never been charged for drive time. They also charged me $286 for a $149 faucet, but then told me this is their cost and they don't mark up parts. But wouldn't show me the invoice as proof. I am disappointed by the lack of transparency and honesty in their pricing.

When our water heater broke, my husband started making phone calls in the evening and Dimitri was the one who responded fast and came the next morning. He brought and changed the water heater for us. Later when we needed his help due to some other issue, despite the fact that he was on his vacation, he arranged someone to come and check it out for us. Later he came and fixed our issue and was extremely helpful and on time with all he promised. I appreciate his professionalism and his work ethic on taking care of his customers. I am in a real estate business and will definitely refer him to my clients and friends. Thank you so much Dimitri.

Henry's Plumbing is great.  I called on a Sunday morning (early) because a sink had backed up.  He responded within 10 minutes and quickly fixed the problem.  He explained everything he did and charged a very fair price.  I'll never go to any other plumber.  I highly recommend him.

Carlos quoted a good price, lower than big name plumber I called first, and was able to get to my house the next day, a Saturday.  He has some impressive equipment and clearly knows what he is doing.  Best of all he's a stand up, honest guy.  I was in the middle of a remodel and some of our drain lines were exposed. Carlos advised that if it were his house, he would replace/reroute our sewer lines...they were too old and we shouldn't have the lines jetted after all. So he made the trip to our house on a Saturday and then advised us that jetting would be wasted money.  We checked with our contractor, who agreed it would be much better to redo the sewer lines. Will definitely use Carlos for all future drain clearing needs.

Adam was very polite, showed up on time was very knowledgeable and had a willingness to answer any questions we had.

Mike is a great plumber! Honest, fair, clean worker and fast.  He helped us quickly, to resolve a plumbing emergency before hosting a huge party.  We are very grateful and recommend him to anyone who wants a great plumber.

Bob was great to work with he was friendly and efficient and knew exactly what he needed to do. He also suggested a fix for the glued pipes making it impossible for me to do anything without replacing all the pipes. I will use him again when I need to.

I had to relocate a gas line for my new range.  It was a very tight area to work in.  Luckily, the tech John had a great flexible pipe product and some specialized tools that made a normally tough job quick and easy!  Great customer service and price as well.  Highly recommended!

We had a sewer main line clog that needed attention. We had our contractor snake the line but it clogged up again two days later. So we called VIP Sewer & Drain Services to help find the problem. They have all the equipment to visualize the problem, descale, jet, and epoxy the sewer main line. Nick and his team were very quick to respond and fixed all our sewer issues. They also provided great pricing and payment options. Thank you!

Farhad was available on a fairly short notice, provided reasonable estimate and did a great job. Needed to run a wire for a new GFCI bathroom outlet for bidet installation. All others I got a quote from wanted to make several holes in my drywall to run the wire, which would have required drywall patching, texture matching and painting. Farhad managed to run the wire without making any holes, and did high quality installations of power outlet and bidet, exactly as I requested. Very happy with the job, availability and general attitude. Will be calling again for future projects.

Gordon is a pro. I'm trying to close on my house and we had a few request for repairs that were holding us up. We needed to replace the water shut off valve and the pressure regulator. I called him yesterday, he came by this morning and everything is all squared away. Great guy, very professional, and the work was done very well. He cleaned up after the job, and it looks great.

We have used Almco Plumbing for several jobs and cannot emphasize enough how incredibly professional and proficient this crew is. Hands down the best plumbing service in San Diego. Most recently they installed a large washer and dryer into our small condo after two separate Costco logistics crews were not able to complete the task. Prior to this Almco installed our dual vanity sinks and when they noticed the sinks were draining slowly they went as far as to snake our neighbors pipe free of charge to ensure all plumbing was clear. They also corrected a mistake on our air gap made by a prior installer. Cannot speak highly enough of this talented and reliable crew. You will not be disappointed and will be forever grateful for their services.

First let me say that I am very happy with my re-pipe, but this was almost a 3 Star rating caused by a bad attitude and a miscommunication about PEX -to-angle-stop. But it all ended well.

My re-pipe was not a result of any leaks. I was beginning a major remodel of my kitchen and flooring, and my home was 31 years old. My contractor suggested a re-piping to avoid any future issues, so I reluctantly followed his advice. I didn't want to spend another 10Gs (3500 sqft. home 3.5 baths) on top of my already costly project, but now that it's over, I feel better.

DAY 1: The first crew showed up and before any work started, I had a problem with one of the workers. Parking was limited because it was trash day and I asked him to park his car across the street, away from the congestion. He looked at me as if he wanted to hurt me so I told the foreman that I did not want him in my house. As a result, the entire crew left. Later I found out that they were almost all related. After several calls to the main office, the owner Brian called me and rescheduled a new install date and different crew. I have to say that everyone at the office were professional, and cared about making things right. I also later found out that most of the crews speak little to no English, and work 10-12-hour days. So, I gave them a pass, especially when the office personnel were as friendly and customer oriented as they were. I also give the worker a pass knowing now what his average work week is like.

FOLLOWING WEEK Day 1: The new crew shows up on time. Most all crews look to be Latino and speak little to no English with the exception of the foreman (Luis and his daughter Jennifer), who spoke excellent English. Remember the old saying, Do not judge a book by the cover? The second crew didn't look as professional as the first crew, but they did a great job. My wife and I left for most of the day, but I showed up periodically to see how things were going. I never saw the crew take a break. They are one of the hardest workers I have had at my house, and I am 70 years old, and have lived in my home since 1993. In other words, I've had a lot of different workers here and these guys were second to none when it came to working.
The plumbing and drywall install is a messy process and I don't know how anyone can not spend the night in a hotel or friends house the first day. Plastic is placed all over and drywall is cut in the walls and ceilings. My first thought was Oh sh*t, did we make a big mistake. After all, I have always believed in the rule, If it's not broke, don't fix it.

DAY 2: The drywall crew shows up. Again, don't judge the book by the cover. This crew looked intimidating. Old truck, lots of tattoos, but they worked from 8 am until 7 pm, and I never saw them take a break. Jose the foreman said he had very little English skills, but he had enough to get the job done. The crew was very accommodating when I asked for certain things like placing and removing plastic. Redoing a bath fixture that was off center, etc. The drywall work was so perfect that my neighbor could not see where any of the 25 holes were repaired in my garage. The drywall matched perfectly with the Swiss coffee paint. I did not even need to repaint the garage ceiling or wall. It blended perfectly. I was amazed!

DAY 3: I noticed two spots that were missed by the drywallers. I made a call to the office and they had Luis and Jennifer come over and fix them to perfection. The customer service was great.

The only other thing that upset me was the fact that I am that guy who usually fixes things around the house like an occasional angle stop at the sinks and toilets. With the PEX -to-angle-stop configuration, I will now need to call a plumber. And we all know how much they charge! When Dante the estimator walked through my home giving me a bid, he may have mentioned this PEX -to-angle-stop, but it did not ring a bell. I thought that any and all PEX line would attach to the copper coming out at the wall; so, no problem. I was wrong! If you want the PEX to attach to the copper line at the wall, you need to tell Dante or whoever your estimator is. Otherwise, you may not be happy. I did Google this later on and decided that it did not warrant me dropping my 5-star rating. By the way, Dante was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to our needs. He made a good first impression for Simpex.

CONCLUSION: I am glad that I went through the PEX -A re-piping ordeal with Simpex. My water pressure is better than before, and my hot water seems to get to my furthest water fixtures faster. Everyone from the owner, to the estimator, the office personnel, and work crew were very responsive to my needs and made this otherwise messy process a pleasure in the end. I would highly recommend Simpex. Their job bid came in at the middle of 3 total bids.

Daniel has been our plumber for five (5) years now and we consider him to by our primary plumber. very reliable, fair, friendly and especially knowledgeable in his profession as a plumber. He has worked on plumbing in our previous condo and replaced our water heater at a very reasonable price. Daniel is currently helping us with our plumping in our new home as we are currently renovating our kitchen and bathrooms. I highly recommend!!!

Called and had Devin out same day! He was able to make all repairs necessary and gave me the best price out of 3 estimates overall for what was needed
