I spoke too soon on my first review below.  The current 1 star review is based solely on their heating and air conditioning side of the business. Steve came out to inspect my furnace and a/c unit while I was in escrow to buy the house. He proclaimed them to be in good shape and only in need of some freon gas.  He did not provide me a written report or I would have sued the company. My oversight in not getting it in writing. Based upon Steve's assessment I approved my inspection of the property and closed escrow. Here comes the reason for the 1 star rating.  I had to call SDG& E to turn on the gas and light pilot lights after the house was tented for termites. The SDG&E employee determined in less than 2 minutes that the furnace was a safety risk and condemned it due to a cracked fire box. I now need to completely replace the furnace. If Padilla's had done a proper professional job I would have been able to have the seller replace the furnace before the close of escrow. Parting words of advise - (1) Always get it in writing, and (2) Don't call John Padilla's Plumbing, Heating and Air.

Dimitar did a fantastic job replacing our tankless water heater. After obtaining multiple quotes, his pricing was very competitive and fair. He was responsible, professional, meticulous, and friendly! We will definitely be using him from now on for any plumbing work.

I was really impressed with the work, responsiveness, and price that Alberto provided. Definitely recommended and can't beat the value that you'll get.

We used an exceptional plumber before but lost his number.  Henry was up against tough competition.
So my husband found Henry and since we needed plumping help ASAP just gave him a call. Henry showed up the same day, quickly figured out what was causing the problem with our leaking toilet and plugged sink drain (two different bathrooms!) and fixed it! He didn't do a quick fix but instead went ahead and killed the tree roots that were clogging the toilet drain (took off the toilet bowl to do that). He was done in less than two hours! Super polite and nice.

And the price! Oh, very reasonable!
We have found a new awesome plumber and that, my friends, is priceless!

Carlos is the best!

After a few months of purchasing our first home, we had a plumbing catastrophe that left us without running water for three days! Our homeowner's warranty covered the cost for three plumbers to come out and tell us that they couldn't fix the issue unless we promised our first born. I mean, 3k to just assess the situation. We finally decided to go off the warranty grid and contact Carlos at CM Jetting Services.  After shopping around for someone who could come over at 4pm on a Friday, Carlos graciously agreed to load up his truck and meet us at our home...for far less than the first 2 hydro jetting providers.

Carlos was punctual, factual, and super dedicated to fixing our plumbing disaster.  He surveyed our area and identified different ports for entry before he started jetting...super important when you have old cast iron pipes from 1929! He gradually increased the PSI using a special head for his jetting hose and BAM! We were flowing once again :)

He is knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and patient. He was here for over 3 hours and never seemed rushed. He spoke of how he understands that that in his line of work, he has to be available around the clock and treat others' emergencies as his own.  He values his customers and his reputation.  When he left, we were dissonanced by wanting to see him again but not. lol.

P.S. He has other plumbing experience (not just hydro jetting) and heating and cooling.  We'll be calling him when we're ready to install our air conditioning.

My water purification system needed service so I call Rayne and got an appointment within three days. The service technician, Draydon, was on time, friendly, and efficient. He even upgraded my original Rayne system for greater output per hour. I have been nothing but pleased with this company and its employees.

Mike is awesome. Responsive. Fair. Cool. And---he's also a great plumber. He gives a great understanding of the issue and suggested remedies. He's direct and will offer the best option.  A plumber is not a relationship one wishes to foster but if you need one, call Mike! :)

I had an issue with clogged dual master bathroom sinks and a clog in the kitchen sink and scheduled with another company to have somebody come out and give me an estimate.  They did come out only to give me an estimate that seemed high in my opinion,  I then called another company and they quoted me hourly rates instead of a set amount, but no guarantee of how long it would take so I passed on them.  Then I saw the reviews for Bob at Cobra Rooter and I was impressed.  I called him and my whole experience was just like you read in the other reviews: responsive, courteous, knowledgeable, cleans up after he's finished, and charges fair prices.  He quickly fixed both clogs and one was in the difficult category, but he's knowledgeable so he was able to clear the clog without any problems. I'm very happy I contacted him and now I can recommend him to family and friends.

Jonathan got back to me right away even after hours. He explained to me the advantages of a tankless water heater and went over the pricing difference from the standard tank variety. We set up an appointment for several days later to meet and make a final decision on which model to go with. After making the decision Jonathan and his brother started the project right away. They did a great job on the install and were in and out in just 3 hours. I'm very thankful!

Alvin and his crew were on time and very professional. I highly recommend them.  Their prices were super competitive. They were able to come out the very next day without issue. I had them hydro jet my sewer line. Alvin showed me where my problems areas were and why.

We needed all the outlets in our home replaced with new ones plus faceplates, along with moving a couple of outlets around. If I had done it myself, it would have likely taken all of 2 or 3 days.

With Farhad and crew, the two of them took all-day to complete the job, 10.5 hrs in total. They took their time to do the work well and stayed focussed the entire time.

I'll be working with Farhad on my future home projects. His rates/quotes are reasonable and he does a very good job!

I had a great experience with Gordon and Top - Notch Plumbing at my daughter's house in Escondido.  He was quick to respond, his pricing was reasonable and he did a great job pulling out an old shower stall and installing a new tub (which he had to find as the one I bought was the wrong size).  He also fixed a plumbing mess we had from the previous owner in the kitchen.  Great communication and easy to work with.  I would highly recommend.

Sergio and crew were great! They found my problem in the morning and gave me options to fix the drain issue.

They had a trench dug by that afternoon and the job was done that day. I couldn't be happier with the service, cleanliness and professional job that they did

We ran into our first plumbing issue and Buddy from Simpex was very friendly, responded quickly and was great to work with.  He helped explain what the issue was and gave recommendations that were easy to understand.  It was done in a timely manner and I am confident in their work.  I would definitely hire them again!

Certified Restoration is a 24hr. Water Removal and Remediation Co. in San Diego. We are constantly calling out plumbers to fix pipes so we can dry-out a building or home. Over the last 5 years we have been using Lucio with San Diego C Plumbing. We appreciate is expertise and communication skills. We recently remodeled our kitchen and had both the gas and plumbing lines rerouted by a different plumbing company. A short while later we noticed a gas smell in our home and called the original company to come back out. They were unable to detect the issue and said the issue was caused by sewer smells and not having run the water in our home. Devin was recommended to me by a colleague. I called him for a second opinion-- He was easy to get a hold of, arrived quickly at our home, and was able to determine the cause of a gas leak shortly after his arrival. His pricing was reasonable and he didn't take advantage of us in an emergency situation.

This review is long overdue. KC helped us replace our garbage disposal (about a month ago) and was able to come out and work with us the very next day we had called him for help. He's super professional, knowledgeable, honest, and down-to-earth and we'll definitely be going to him for any other plumbing needs we might have in the future! Thanks again, Monty!!

Manny was awesome !  Came out on time was friendly , honest,  helped me assess my drain and pressure assist toilet. Very honest and didn't charge me for any services I didn't need.  I would definitely recommend using this company and will use them in the future !
