This company came out to my rental unit as one of my property manager's contractors to perform a tune-up of my tenant's AC system.  What I get back (after paying about $150 for the visit) is a laundry list of upgrades to a ten-year air handler and condenser that amounted to an estimate of about $3,500.  All of it totally unnecessary and impractical.  The evaporator coil had a glaring leak and was completely rusted out; a blind person could have found it.  It needed a new evap coil or a completely new air handler, either route works depending on one's budget.  Somehow they didn't find the rusted out and leaking evap coil during the initial tune-up visit.  So, they add leak detection dye and coolant unnecessarily for $800 after, only to have the coolant and dye leak out of the bad evap coil.  So, all in all, I wasted about $1,000 in poorly diagnosis' and unnecessary work.  I had a competitor come out and give me an honest evaluation and this company was baffled as to why Padilla approached this job the way they did.  Trying to turn a Ford (a ten year-old air handler) into a Caddilac with unnecessary upgrades and bells and whistles ($3,500 worth) when all it needed was a new evap coil or entire air handler boggles the mind.  Do not use this company for anything AC related.  Shady.  Trust me.

Just to add to all of the 5-star reviews - my experience with Dimitar was fantastic.  I reached out to him about replacing my water heater and his bid was extremely competitive.  He arrived on time and completed the installation quickly and thoroughly, going above and beyond with a couple of extra requests I gave him.  I highly recommend him.

I had a very disappointing experience with Montiny plumbing.

The good:
They were very responsive
They were willing to fit my repairs in even though they were fully booked
They were respectful
I gave them bad information that the leak was clean water (it didn't stink like sewage) so we didn't have the chance to discuss prices ahead of time.

The bad:
They diagnosed a leak for me and estimated the fix at $1800 and specifically said this was not a failed wax ring. They charged $175 for the leak detection which is free with many other plumbers.
I got 3 additional quotes virtual and in person, all said it was a failed wax ring.
I went with one of those plumbers and paid less to fix the problem than I paid Montiny to diagnose it.
I requested a full or 50% refund because either their diagnosis was dishonest or incorrect. They refused and maintained the wax ring wouldn't fix it.
I said I would wait a week to see if there were any issues before repairing the access hole they cut. I waited 3 weeks - the new wax ring fixed the issue.

I owe Henry an apology. I've neglected a proper Yelp review. He's been our 'goto' plumber since we bought our house in 1991. I don't remember how I found him, but happily we have had the absolute pleasure in his ongoing repairs. Inevitable in home ownership, right?! He always zeroes in on exactly what the problem or proposal is, and has his way of guiding you to the right decision. Nope, he won't do just ANYTHING. It has to be done RIGHT or not at all. OH, and that rightness comes at a fair price. I appreciate when he says NO and I've come up with some oddball ideas over the years. Seriously, there probably are other good plumbers out there. Sorry to those other guys and gals, Henry is IT as the plumber for us at my house.

Carlos is fantastic. He is very responsive, professional, competitively priced, and just a trustworthy person. I enjoyed talking with him, which validated his experience and expertise. I highly recommend Carlos and his team. If you need any jetting or drain clearing work done for maintenance, etc., choose the expert and get it done right the first time - you will not be sorry.

We use this at our salon and it is extremely beneficial. Water is great, the hot water is so ridiculously hot its amazing!  We compare it to other water suppliers and have found this to be the favorite between our consumers.

I got service the same day.  I wanted 2 faucets replaced and I called to ask for a quote.  He got me the faucets I wanted and installed them that day. I'll be sure to use him again and I highly recommend him.

Excellent company!  We recently hired them to replace the washer shutoff valves in our laundry room and they did a fantastic job.

They answered the phone quickly, set up an appointment, and arrived on time and with the proper equipment.  They evaluated the situation, gave me a reasonable quote, and immediately began work.  The employees were all courteous, informative, and professional.   They took no shortcuts and did the job right.

This is the first time I've used Pure but it won't be my last - they are now my plumber!  I highly recommend them.

They are great! They have changed out our old garbage disposal a year ago and it's still working great. When our ceiling fan broke in the master and living room. We contacted Farhad again, they were quick to respond! Quoted us for 4 hour but got it done under 3 hours. Really great services, they were through and cleaned up. Very reasonable quote! Super polite and very good at letting us know that they were in their way. Easy to talk too. We are grateful for them in fixing the fans since it has been so hot! It has been a month now and everything is still working great! Thank you so much!!

I had my kitchen sinks backed up for a week. We tried everything but could not rectify the problem.. Time for a plumber.. I called Top Notch on a Friday evening and left a message for them to return my call. At 9:00 am the next day, Saturday, Gordon, the owner returned my call and set up an appointment  for 3 hours from then.. He showed up 15 min early, fixed my problem and was gone within 45 min. I can not recommend him more highly. Very professional, courteous, timely and affordable. I plan on calling Top Notch again should I have another plumbing issue.

We received an estimate from Simpex to work on two issues we were having with odors. We're renters and our landlord offered to mitigate the issue after her handyman was unable to fix it. When Trevor came out, I was skeptical of his diagnosis with one of the issues. I was concerned we would have convinced our landlord to reimburse us for the plumbing but if this wasn't a fix, we'd then be stuck with this bad odor. Trevor was really nice in reassuring me he was pretty positive he knew the issue and kindly tolerated my questioning him. Well I'm so glad I listened to him because both of the odors are completely gone and he handled this issue once and for all. I had received other estimates from a couple other companies and they offered a totally different solution that in hindsight, would not have been a fix at all! I am so glad we went with Simpex - highly recommend.

Daniel has been our plumber for five (5) years now and we consider him to by our primary plumber. very reliable, fair, friendly and especially knowledgeable in his profession as a plumber. He has worked on plumbing in our previous condo and replaced our water heater at a very reasonable price. Daniel is currently helping us with our plumping in our new home as we are currently renovating our kitchen and bathrooms. I highly recommend!!!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and had both the gas and plumbing lines rerouted by a different plumbing company. A short while later we noticed a gas smell in our home and called the original company to come back out. They were unable to detect the issue and said the issue was caused by sewer smells and not having run the water in our home. Devin was recommended to me by a colleague. I called him for a second opinion-- He was easy to get a hold of, arrived quickly at our home, and was able to determine the cause of a gas leak shortly after his arrival. His pricing was reasonable and he didn't take advantage of us in an emergency situation.

I love Monty's Plumbing! I had a backed up shower drain and he came out that day to fix it. It was really reasonably priced and very quick! He was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong. Also, very friendly and great with my dog! I would recommend Monty's to anyone. Definitely the first person I will call if I have another plumbing problem! Thanks!

Kevin came out to my house and fixed my garbage disposal within 20 minutes. He was awesome to work with and gave me good pointers on what to do if my blades get jammed again. I was told I needed to replace the whole garbage disposal from other businesses and was quoted at $500+, those other businesses didn't even take the time to look into the issue further. Kevin actually did and he knew the exact issue and knew the disposal didn't need to be replaced but rather had something jammed and needed the blades to be turned. Super grateful I waited for him to come fix the issue!! Saved a ton of time and money super honest and will continue to call for further issues I may have! Highly recommend!
