I spoke too soon on my first review below.  The current 1 star review is based solely on their heating and air conditioning side of the business. Steve came out to inspect my furnace and a/c unit while I was in escrow to buy the house. He proclaimed them to be in good shape and only in need of some freon gas.  He did not provide me a written report or I would have sued the company. My oversight in not getting it in writing. Based upon Steve's assessment I approved my inspection of the property and closed escrow. Here comes the reason for the 1 star rating.  I had to call SDG& E to turn on the gas and light pilot lights after the house was tented for termites. The SDG&E employee determined in less than 2 minutes that the furnace was a safety risk and condemned it due to a cracked fire box. I now need to completely replace the furnace. If Padilla's had done a proper professional job I would have been able to have the seller replace the furnace before the close of escrow. Parting words of advise - (1) Always get it in writing, and (2) Don't call John Padilla's Plumbing, Heating and Air.

I can't say enough good things about Dimitar and Maxx Water Heater Service. After having a different plumber cancel on me 3 times - I called Maxx at 4:30 pm and Dimitar showed up within 45 minutes. He shut the water off to the water heater and returned the next morning to replace the water heater. He also replaced our regulator. He was friendly, efficient and professional.

Our shower stopped working during weekend. I went on Yelp to find a plumber who would come out without a high service call charge.  Luis responded and attempted to help us resolve it over the phone, but it did not work.  He came out next day and offered different options after assessed the issue.  His prices are most fair, he is most responsive, and easier to work with in scheduling among few others I'd called. We will call Luis if we ever need plumbing assistance in the future.

I called Henry's Plumbing on discovering a major water leak this morning, after my two regular plumbers could not fit our emergency into their schedules today.
The source of the leak was methodically located and the pipe promptly repaired efficiently and at a very reasonable cost - we will definitely be using Henry's services for all our plumbing needs in the future. Highly recommend.

Carlos is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything that he was doing. He was able to blast out all the dirt and rocks in my line that a snake just could not (can not) take care of. After he was done, his camera showed an extremely clean pipe. Great guy to work with, very customer service oriented, fair prices. If Carlos can't do it, no one can. Save money and get it jetted, not snaked.

We've had Rayne water for over almost 10 years now and they do not disappoint. Their service is great and pricing is within reason for the service and product. Love the water filter which we have our whole home set up on. Drayton came today to service our system, thoroughly explained what was wrong and fixed the issues in less than an hour. Super friendly and great customer service. 10/10 recommend!

Plumber Mike is great.  He came out and fixed what two previous plumbers were unable to do.  Reasonable prices, no BS, and Mike is extremely knowledgeable. I sent him a text of my broken Kohler faucet, and he got everything together to fix on his first visit.  Highly recommend

Don't look anywhere else. These guys are the real deal. They came out (on time) and gave me an honest assessment of the work that needed to be done and provided a fair bid. Ultimately, all of the cast iron pipe under my home needed to be replaced and the line from the home to the street needed to be replaced, as well.

I obtained 3 other bids for the project, most of which were way more expensive or called for unnecessary work. During the project, they were on time and always professional.

After a few years, more things needed fixing.  I called Top Notch again based on my first experience. I am happy to say nothing has changed. Gordon, the owner, showed up early for the appointment. The kitchen sink faucet replacement while not necessarily a hard job had enough trickiness involved that I am glad I called in a professional. He took care of a clogged pipe as well. Again the time it took to do the job was reasonable as was the cost.  I am a very satisfied customer and will continue to use Top Notch.

I had a plumbing emergency early in the morning and Vlad was able to come right away. He was friendly, professional, and wore his mask the entire time. He was able to identify the issue quickly and had the problem solved before I knew it. I have already recommended him to neighbors.

After a third slab leak in 3 years, I hired Simpex to repipe and install a new water heater in my 1970s built home. They did a great job. Within 24 hours of me calling, Brian provided me a quote. I received estimates from three companies. They were all within $500 of each other. However, Brian had some creative ways to route the PEX through the walls. And, they do not subcontract the patching.  I liked that. The repiping was completed as Brian said - one day, followed by patching the holes on day two. Both crews laid down floor covering and hung plastic to reduce dust. Joseph who works in the office scheduled the city inspections. All went according to plan. So far the PEX product is an improvement over the old copper pipes.  Hot water is delivered faster, I assume because the PEX hot water line is insulted and my flow rate seems better, too. I only have one small issue to report. The patch crew didn't use a commercial vacuum system for clean up. In conclusion, I am a real estate agent and I would not hesitate to recommend Brian and his crew at Simpex Repipe to my clients and anyone else. Again, they did a great job.

We were having a bad problem with roots in our pipes.  Lucio came out, gave us a fair quote, and got to work the next day.  

He and his hard working concrete guy had to drill through our concrete to get to  the root of the problem :)  They pulled out a root the size of a baseball bat that was causing our backup, and which other plumbers missed.

They arrived at our house at 8:30 am, and didn't leave till 8:30 pm.  Lucio did not leave till every part of the job was done (including refilling the concrete steps).  He snaked with a camera several times.  He was always saying, he wanted to make sure he covered everything.

Lucio is professional, courteous,  and friendly.  If you look in his van, it is organized and clean. I told him he's an anal plumber :). He's a perfectionist that will get the job done right.  

We will definitely use him for future jobs.

***BUYER BEWARE*****  

I spoke to Devin in late December as I had a leak in a pipe that was accessible through the stucco of the exterior of my home.  Devin assured me that they were a 1 stop shop.  They could fix the leak and re-stucco the wall.   His partner even said you wouldn't even know we were here.   If this business had comedians, it would get 5 stars.    This was the biggest lie I was ever told.  

Day 1 Devin's team shows up late.   They cut open the wall and then assess the issue.   They then took at least 5 trips to Home Depot for parts. After hours of trying to correct the problem, they had to admit they did not know what they were doing and call what I am hoping was a real plumber to finish the job.   This took almost 10 hours.

The following day, they again showed up late, and knowing they were there to do stucco work, they still had to make a trip to Home Depot.   When I went to check to see how the work was going, I could tell they had no idea what they were doing.   They had retrieved a Lucky Charms box out of the recycle can and were using it as a trowel to apply the stucco and to get it to stick to the wall.  

I was told by his brother that they would be back the next day to paint.   They had even gone to Home Depot again and got matching paint.    Well, I contacted Devin because they didn't show up the next day.   Devin told me they need the stucco to dry, and they would be by to paint in a few weeks.   We'll that has now turned into 4 months.   The stucco is awful. There are cracks everywhere from where they applied it.    

I did get ahold of Devin once since and he promised me that he would come out himself to look at the issue.    Well, he was a no-show to our appointment.  

I attempted to settle this issue privately and allow Devin to remedy this situation.  Yet Devin continues to ignore my calls and texts.  

Please save your hard earned money and time and if you have a plumbing issue select someone who is more reputable and takes pride in their work.

KC is awesome! He has come to our rescue with clogged sinks, and majorly backed up Bathtubs a few times. He was friendly, nice and always makes sure I am in the know of what he was doing. We have a back unit where he has helped us out from time to and is always easy to get in contact with. We have a dog, and he always remembers her name and always takes time to give her some attention.
Well, if you want good, honest service, look no further!

I recently used Get Rooter & Plumbing to replace a failing water shutoff and I couldn't be more pleased with their service!
