These folks do exceptional work.  We purchased a home in the greater San Diego area, and we contracted John Padilla Plumbing, Heating & Air to do multiple repairs and upgrades that were discovered during the inspection process (for both plumbing and HVAC work).  The work was completed, on time, with the same care and quality that one might show to their own home.

There was one SNAFU during the process- we were not able to fit our washer into a washer pan that was installed (this was nobodies fault- the washer wasn't on site, a standard size pan was installed, and we didn't know there was an issue until we moved in with our stupid big oversized washer.)  John, Victor, David, and team prioritized our issue right away, and made everything right with the world.

We live in an era where there are many companies to choose from to do pretty much anything you need done.  When choosing, quality is #1 on my list.  However, quality is very closely followed by good customer service. Communication, politeness, professionalism, timeliness, and the desire to deliver a quality product all factor into that, and John Padilla Plumbing, Heating & Air hit the mark on all those fronts.  

I will definitely be calling on them again once the AC unit in my house inevitably meets its rusty end, and for any plumbing related things I might need in the future.

This is the third time I called Maxx Water Heater Service. Dimitar is very responsive and fair with his pricing for what he does. He goes above and beyond. We had a leak inside the shower handle. It is called a mixer I think where the hot and cold water are mixed. He found the parts which was a big challenge and fortunately we had him replace the shower parts in both bathrooms and shockingly they were both leaking. He came to the job both days without any delays. This is the third property he has worked on for us.
Needless to say, I couldn't be more pleased.

I had a very disappointing experience with Montiny plumbing.

The good:
They were very responsive
They were willing to fit my repairs in even though they were fully booked
They were respectful
I gave them bad information that the leak was clean water (it didn't stink like sewage) so we didn't have the chance to discuss prices ahead of time.

The bad:
They diagnosed a leak for me and estimated the fix at $1800 and specifically said this was not a failed wax ring. They charged $175 for the leak detection which is free with many other plumbers.
I got 3 additional quotes virtual and in person, all said it was a failed wax ring.
I went with one of those plumbers and paid less to fix the problem than I paid Montiny to diagnose it.
I requested a full or 50% refund because either their diagnosis was dishonest or incorrect. They refused and maintained the wax ring wouldn't fix it.
I said I would wait a week to see if there were any issues before repairing the access hole they cut. I waited 3 weeks - the new wax ring fixed the issue.

Henry did a great job installing faucets, connecting drains on 3 bathroom sinks and 1 kitchen sink.   I wsited a while to review to make sure ni issues cropped and, after 2 weeks, no leaks, etc.  This time the kitchen sink operates smoothly,  compared to the last time we had a kitchen sink installed by a handyman.   Great work at a decent price.

CM Jetting successfully cleaned out a very complex system of blocked landscape and gutter drains.  I have a large property and our drainage system was completely clogged due to roots, leaves, and neglect, almost flooding our house last winter.

He was able to clean it out in a day. Several pipes and perhaps over a hundred feet. I was thinking it would take two days and might be impossible.  He saved me from having to excavate a lot of concrete.  All the drains now drain perfectly.

Carlos is a real pro and knows his trade.  He gave me a completely honest assessment of the problem and then went about and fixed it.  He was careful to not damage anything.  His pricing is very reasonable, and you have to consider that with the quality equipment he has, he gets the job done very efficiently, leading to more savings.

On top of all that, he is a wonderful guy.  He listened patiently to what I had to say and communicated what he was going to do.  A real pleasure to work with.  No reason for me to search around when I need drain work (and how many of us have never needed that?) again.

Kenny was extremely professional and courteous. He tested the water and provided a range of possible solutions. Installation of the water softener was scheduled for just a few days later. John was on-time and did an extremely professional job; almost a work of art with copper. The equipment is commercial level and first rate; substantially higher quality than the failed water softener that I'd purchased and installed from a big-box store just a very few years ago. If you're looking for water treatment solutions for your home or business these are the people to call.

Plumber Mike is great.  He came out and fixed what two previous plumbers were unable to do.  Reasonable prices, no BS, and Mike is extremely knowledgeable. I sent him a text of my broken Kohler faucet, and he got everything together to fix on his first visit.  Highly recommend

Bob is the man! I live on the second floor of lets say a vintage apartment building.  The plumbing is not the best.  After several attempts to clear the line, Bob came to my rescue. I had a tough time with this originally. I had to coordinate with my neighbor to get into their apartment to make sure my clog wouldn't effect their unit.  Honestly its a huge inconvenience, I get it. When I told a friend of my problems, they referred me to Bob at Cobra Rooter. Bob was the only person I called that not only gave me the best ever weekend price I have ever heard but also had the equipment needed to clear the line from my apartment only. I had called several plumbers, who can do the job but for drains use the drain specialist.  Plumbers do pipes, drain specialist do drains.  Bob was fast and super friendly and CLEAN! I can't stress enough the word CLEAN. Honestly the pipes are working better then they have the entire time I have lived here.

Jonathon is a master craftsman plumber from a bygone era where men trained many,  many years and perfected their trade to an art form.  Having him in your house is like a throwback to the 1950's when  men took the utmost care and skill in working with you.

He is extremely  sensitive to the needs of the homeowner and their overall budget. We used him to replace the sink and commode in our master bath, kitchen faucet, and another bathroom sink leak, replacing the faucet there as well.  He also replaced our master shower valve. All work was performed flawlessly, and a sight to behold  in terms of how clean he welds and runs copper piping,  correcting existing deficiencies and mistakes that he encounters.

Finally, if that is not enough, we had a leak in another area of our home and he could not get to it immediately, so he recommended another plumber who came out and treated us right.

Jonathon and Pure Plumbing are the best and only the best! It is so difficult to find a good plumber Who can show old fashion courtesy, kindness, honesty, reliability , and Master craftsmanship on a level not ordinarily seen and now we have one! And his prices are more than FAIR!

I found VIP on Yelp and called to make an appointment. Nick, the owner, responded by text almost immediately. We set an appointment. Nick arrived 10 minutes early, wore a mask and booties into our house (during pandemic), and went right to work. He is friendly, helpful, and diligent. We thought we had one problem (expensive) but Nick said, No, all you need is this at about half the cost of what we thought it would cost. He finished in half an hour, explained everything, and was pleasant throughout. I don't know Nick, and have not used his company before, but I will definitely keep his number in my contact list.

Great communication and fairly priced. I needed to replace a regular door with a glass one. Farhad was very detail oriented and focused even when the new door was too big - no complaining - just did what he needed to do to complete the job. Left everything very tidy after the job was completed.  Really happy with the workmanship and I will definitely be using Farhad again!

While repairing a simple indoor leak over the Thanksgiving weekend (with company, of course), the main valve to the house broke ... in the closed position. Not knowing who to call, we came straight to the reviewers here and were not disappointed.

Gordon, the owner, was on another job at the time, but told us he could be to our house within an hour and a half. He arrived earlier than his estimate, quickly diagnosed the problem and suggested a low-cost alternative.

His rates were reasonable - especially considering it was a holiday weekend - and he even threw in a replacement for a broken toilet tank flapper when I told him we were heading to the store to buy one.

We will definitely use his services in the future.

I assisted my 80 year old parents in coordinating a water softener replacement project.  Ulysses was the plumber who came to bid the job. He was prompt and professional and my parents liked him the best out of all the plumbers that they met with.  Both him and the business owner Wu worked very closely with me in lieu of my parents to minimize stress for my elderly  parents.  Wu obtained the city permit for the job very quicky. His communication with the status of the schedule was fantastic! Certified Restoration is a 24hr. Water Removal and Remediation Co. in San Diego. We are constantly calling out plumbers to fix pipes so we can dry-out a building or home. Prince Charmin came to my rescue on Jan. 1, 2023. We had a sewage issue in our home just after midnight on New Year's day. Devin was the only person who was available on New Year's day with a very fair price on a holiday weekend. He arrived to my home the same day just a couple of hours after we spoke on the phone. He and his crew arrived earlier than expected which was awesome. He even had the foresight to contact a water damage restoration company on our behalf to be present as well after hearing that  sewage had flowed out of the bathroom into the adoining room. Calling a water restoration company was not even something I had even begun to consider with everything else that was going on at home. Highly recommend their services.

Monty's and their owner KC were awesome-- reasonably priced, honest, responsible and did a great job for us within the time period promised.  We had various plumbing issues at our OB house.  We obtained quotes from two other companies first.  One company, 5 star on Angie's list, gave an outrageously priced quote (we consulted our House inspector).  The other company's quote was a little better but also high and plus they tried to get us do a whole lot more than perhaps needed.  Comparing the interactions with these companies, Monty's seemed a lot more honest and straightforward, even when interacting with someone looked easily fooled (I mean myself).   I would recommend Monty's for your plumbing issues and perhaps some of the green (water conservation) plumbing projects they offer.

Our kitchen sink was backed up and al the normal homeowner tricks did not work to unclog it. I contacted a few companies and Get Rooter & Plumbing was the first to respond. They scheduled a visit quickly with me and showed up right on time. They diagnosed the issue and unclogged the drain right away. They also provided some feedback regarding the state of my old cast iron pipes. I knew that my house was old and needing some maintenance so I appreciated this feedback, as we are slowly trying to get the house back into shape. There was no pressure to get it done but just a realistic timeline of how long to expect the current pipes to last. My wife and I are now budgeting to save for this repair now that we have some great insight from Javier and team. And when we are ready we will hire Get Rooter and Plumbing to repair it, as well as any other plumbing issues we run into.
