I think it is so important to support our local businesses particularly when they exceed my expectations.  
I had a leak in my sewer line and had three different opinions on the location and the cost.  Their price was reasonable and upon inspection they didn't try to up sell me on any other repairs or issues.

Brenden from Padilla came out,  Victor then gave me an estimate and were able to schedule the work the next week.  They had to work an extra day as the line was deeper than they expected so the excavation took longer.  They completed the work and did not charge me any extra for the time as they stood by the original estimate and applied the credit for the initial visit.  

They took photos and had a live camera feed which they emailed me for my records.  
After the job was complete they followed up with a call to make sure all the work was satisfactory, which it was.

I called Maxx Water Heater Service because I needed my kitchen faucet to be replaced. Dimitar recommended a good, reasonably priced faucet and replaced it in no time. I'm very happy with the quality of the work, the faucet, and the pricing of the service. This dude knows his stuff!!

I called Henry's Plumbing on discovering a major water leak this morning, after my two regular plumbers could not fit our emergency into their schedules today.
The source of the leak was methodically located and the pipe promptly repaired efficiently and at a very reasonable cost - we will definitely be using Henry's services for all our plumbing needs in the future. Highly recommend.

I find it rare these days when we find a service professional who meets, much less exceeds expectations. Carlos was very knowledgeable when I inquired about a clogged outdoor corrugated pipe that was running from our backyard to the street. He gave tons of helpful information and a very reasonable quote. When he came to address the issue he was courteous, informative and transparent every step of the way. He identified the clog, flushed it out and identified where the line ran underground to save us a lot of money and hassle moving forward if we wanted to make future adjustments. We appreciated the quality, the price point and the flexibility to do what was needed. Definitely recommend.

Andrew Servin was fantastic.  Answered all my questions about service and conditionlong schedule. Spent time explaining the process to me. Very polite and diligent.  Highly recommended.

I have used Mike for plumbing repairs for at least 15 years.  He has installed several faucets, shower heads, a toilet, unclogged sinks, and the list goes on.  He is always prompt and has a wonderful personality.  By the way, he is fair and honest and reasonable.  You can't go wrong with Mike!

Bob answers the phone for a start.  He gives you a time, if he's going to be a little late he calls.  He is friendly and professional, quickly assesses the problem and has the equipment to solve it.  His prices are reasonable.  Let's hope I don't need to see Bob again any time soon, but if I do, Bob is my man.

Since my original review in November 2021, I've unfortunately needed Pure Plumbing services twice more. I've seen plumbers more in the last several months than I needed for 20 years. I have to say, if it weren't for Pure Plumbing I would have been stressed out.
On Christmas eve, I found out the main water supply line  to my home had a pin hole leak. Fortunately, the city placed a compression fitting on the pipe to get us through Christmas weekend. I texted PP on Christmas eve and the response was quick and welcomed. They would be out on Monday to repair the pipe and YES they were on time and did a great job.
The second time I needed them is a bit unusual. PP installed a new water heater in Nov. About a month later, I noticed we had no hot water. Hmmmm, very strange. The pilot light had gone out so I relit. Then a week later it went out again. I contacted PP and Jonathan came out to replace the master control valve and pilot light assembly (warranty work). Great all fixed. Nope! It went out again several more times in the next couple of weeks. PP came out again, did trouble shooting on the pilot light thermopile and found it was malfunctioning.  They replaced the thermopile and the heater is working as expected.
PP contacted the water heater company to manage the warranty issues, obtain replacement parts and made the repairs quickly and professionally.

Good job of Alvino and his assistant. We had an intermittent clogged kitchen sink which had given us some headaches during the previous months. They came and fixed the issue pretty fast, at a reasonable price. Thanks Vip Sewer and Drain Services!

I've never experienced any unprofessionalism and lack of integrity like this. This company sent over a guy who is unbelievably slow, doesn't complete work, and still wanna charge a lot. I can't imagine it takes two days for someone to install 5 pairs of dampers to cabinets, 2 shower curtain rods, and change two AC filters. For this little amount of work, he has charged me $450 labor only and took 7-8 hours in 2 days. He doesn't charge by hour and only charge by project. He couldn't finish the full list of work planned and doesn't patch up walls when he messed the paints when installing the curtain rods at a wrong position. What's even worse, he mixed the purchase of materials with someone else's and wanna charge me for the full amount. It made me feel he did so intentionally with no integrity at all as he bought 6 pairs of dampers and never gave me the one extra pair he didn't use. It could just be this one guy whose name is Farhad that is this bad. The company should reconsider if he is qualified and stop letting him ruin the reputation of the Company.

Farhad's response below is beyond the point. It's not about charging work by hour or by project. The point is that the three tasks mentioned above only takes 1 hour or 1.5 hour maximum. The hourly rate for a handyman in Oceanside is $30-$45 per hour. At least this is the quote I've received from two other handyman. In other words, the work Farhad did should have cost less than $100 if it is done by someone who's more skillful and even given a $60 hourly rate. Another handyman has changed the hinges for all 15+ cabinets in my house for just a bit over an hour.

I'm usually ok with paying people more with tips if he shows he has tried hard and worked hard. No, Farhad, I don't need you to finish work anymore. I need you to refund me the extra damper I bought and you didn't return to me or use on the job.

You need to position yourself better in this market. The service provided and the rate you've charge won't be sustainable for the business.

After changing cable services my technician let me know there was standing water under the house and that I probably had a leak.   Called another plumber to come out and take a look and after describing the situation, he refused the job outright.  Called Top Notch - Gordon came out the next day and found the shower drain leaking into the crawlspace under the house; after authorizing the repair with my landlord he quickly fixed the problem within his quote.   Outstanding service and would not hesitate to hire again.  Thanks Gordon!

By far the best plumbing company I have ever worked with. The tech David was able to remove the broken screw from my overflow cap with no problem and even fixed another issue I had and resolved the problem within minutes! Also Paul was also very precise and helpful with the problems I had while talking on the phone. This is the only plumbing company I will work with from now on and will refer them to friends/family whenever one needs one. Thank you again for the great service and looking forward to working with you guys again.

The joys of home ownership may include a whole house repipe. We obtained estimates from 3 repipe specialists. Simpex Repipe & Plumbing stood out with their fair price and friendly, professional service.

They did our repipe in two days: first day for repipe and the second day for repair or drywall and stucco. Two different teams. Each highly skilled in their respective jobs. Neat & efficient, both teams started around 9am and finished (clean up included) by 5pm. While it is a repipe, the repair of drywall and stucco is what everyone sees and the team that worked on our house did a fantastic job! The previous homeowner had can lighting installed and the patchwork seems to have been done by the electrician. The drywall and stucco done by Simpex is flawless!!! Perfectly blended so you cannot see where the hole used to be.

Needless to say, my wife and I are happy we found Simpex Repipe & Plumbing. If you are in the market for a repipe, definitely call Simpex. I recommend them to anyone looking to repipe their house. Thanks Simpex!!!

We were having a bad problem with roots in our pipes.  Lucio came out, gave us a fair quote, and got to work the next day.  

He and his hard working concrete guy had to drill through our concrete to get to  the root of the problem :)  They pulled out a root the size of a baseball bat that was causing our backup, and which other plumbers missed.

They arrived at our house at 8:30 am, and didn't leave till 8:30 pm.  Lucio did not leave till every part of the job was done (including refilling the concrete steps).  He snaked with a camera several times.  He was always saying, he wanted to make sure he covered everything.

Lucio is professional, courteous,  and friendly.  If you look in his van, it is organized and clean. I told him he's an anal plumber :). He's a perfectionist that will get the job done right.  

We will definitely use him for future jobs.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and had both the gas and plumbing lines rerouted by a different plumbing company. A short while later we noticed a gas smell in our home and called the original company to come back out. They were unable to detect the issue and said the issue was caused by sewer smells and not having run the water in our home. Devin was recommended to me by a colleague. I called him for a second opinion-- He was easy to get a hold of, arrived quickly at our home, and was able to determine the cause of a gas leak shortly after his arrival. His pricing was reasonable and he didn't take advantage of us in an emergency situation.

Loved KC!!!  He was extremely knowedgeable, friendly and at the right price.  Like the other reviews, I never got that uncomfortable feeling like I needed to guard my stuff.  If anything, I left a few times.  Monty's Plumbing is a company I know I can trust and feel comfortable recommending to any of my friends or family.

Get Rooter & Pimblibg were the quickest to respond and to come to my place for a leaked toilet due to a rusted bolt. Manny came the same day and fixed my toilet for about the same price from other plumber's quote. He replaced the toilet flush valve, flapper and all that good stuff.. all the work is guaranteed one year. Thank you Get Rooter Plumbing and Manny for the quick honest work!
