Raul came to help us with a leaky faucet on the same day I requested service. He did not over charge and kept a nice clean work place. He had to get parts for us twice but was very considerate about pricing and showing us why and what damages had been done over the years. Reasonable pricing and very nice man. Thanks Raul!

I bought a house in UC built in 68, and it needed a lot of work, I hired Gary to come in and help with the many plumbing problems I was having. Gary came in fixed the toilets,water heater. and even ran a gas line to my fireplace way cool then when we found that it took forever to get hot water to the upstairs bath rooms he put in a watts  unit on the water heater to send hot water all the time, works great. he is knowledgeable, the nicest guy and honest. you couldn't go wrong using him for any repairs. I called Mark the Saturday before Mother's Day with a leaking shower.  There was no rush, just trying to set up an appointment.  He seemed disappointed that he could help me on the spot, but said that if it wouldn't mess up our Sunday he could come on Mother's Day.  After chastising him for not spending the day with his own mother (he had a good excuse - she's too far away) I allowed that he could do the work on Sunday.  He assured me that there would be no extra charge for working on Sunday and asked me to text him a picture of the leaking handles so he would have the right equipment when he came.  

He arrived promptly when he said he would on Sunday - with flowers for Mothers Day!!  He did the work for the price he quoted, found a couple extra items that needed replacing and showed me what they were and what was wrong with them.  He had all the parts needed, and tweaked some other small issues on his way out (no charge).

Mark is the plumber I have been waiting for all my life!

Not only did this company do a great job , the customer service level was above and beyond my expectations. I will recommend all of my family & friends to SD Rooter. The owner was always prompt and explained every detail without me asking. Cleaned up all of the work area and made sure my family was completely satisfied before he left . I'm not easy to please and have had multiple problems with other plumbing companies but hands down this is the best company to go through .

Using SDG&E's System Assessment & Improvement program, I was assigned to THA Heating & Air to perform the service. This is not a free service. I scheduled the work to be done and THA missed the appointment completely. When I called towards the end of the appointment window, the operator said the technician was held up and wouldn't make it. Half of my day blown waiting for them during a weekday, but hey... it was during one of the heat waves, so I let it slide. Any business can make a mistake.

2nd appointment. Same thing. Again, they didn't show up or bother to call. I finally called the company and they said the technician couldn't make it. They said call back the next day to reschedule an appointment.

3rd appointment, they said they couldn't schedule it and would call back when they had an availability. No call for a week.

Called again and no one answered the phone for the afternoon.

Requested another contractor through SDG&E. They can't connect me with another contractor, so they called the president at THA. President responded to them, He should call and schedule appointment.

Well if it were only that simple.

I can only say, by comparison, that the charges are certainly less than I have experienced in the past.  He detailed all that needed to be done and finished the task very satisfactory.  Very personable to communicate with.  2. Have read the accompanying reviews to this site and am glad Keith A. gave him 5 stars.  He's talking about Tino not Tony and I'm sure he meant conscientous not contentious!   (Big Difference)

We had a leak and Darin came out immediately himself to check it out. Darin has excellent customer service and is just one of this guys you can trust. I highly recommend him.

Had a clogged toilet. Called a few places and was given all kinds of charges and what if scenarios. Called Robbies and was given a straight forward price. Had them come out and within an hour had everything back to normal. Easy to work with and no hidden charges. Thanks again for getting our office back to normal.

I had concerns that we had a leaky pipe behind a wall of our master bedroom shower.  Thankfully, this wasn't the case but Frankie still made it out in a timely fashion, walked me through everything he was doing, and re-caulked and cleaned up better than before.  While there is an initial visit/diagnosis fee, it is deducted from any final repair quote provided if I choose to move forward with the recommended repairs.

He provided options,  showed up on time, and was very polite. I would use him again in the future.

Update*** Mike called me and squared away what had happened which I was extremely grateful for. I was able to get a refund and he apologized for the miscommunication. I appreciated this since it showed me that he really cares about his customers and his business. So I wanted to change my review to reflect that.

My overall experience was disappointing.  I had a leaking water pipe, and they repaired it, but after turning back on the water, my shower valve and my neighbor's shower valve wouldn't allow the hot water to flow. Apparently calcium deposits had broken loose when the water was turned back on. My disappointment came when the owner of Genesis said we both required new shower valves at $490 (parts & labor) for each unit....nearly $1000! I called another plumber who said that it was unlikely that the valve required replacement. The other plumber fixed each shower valve for $150 (parts & labor per valve) by just replacing the cartridge.

Jacob was excellent! I needed my tankless water heater flushed out and he returned my call within minutes, was able to give me an appointment at my preferred time and was very friendly and professional. The job was done quickly without any issues and he was very knowledgeable. I'll definitely call him for any needs in the future. Thank you!

Awesome job.  James came to our house immediately and totally helped us out.  He saved us a ton of money compared to a competitor and was extremely helpful.  Highly recommend him!

John is an elite plumber. 30+ years experience in both new construction and maintenance work. He has done a few projects for me but most recently helped me renovate my shower/bath with all brand new plumbing and hardware. Thanks a lot for being a reliable and high quality contractor.. Needed a garbage disposal yesterday (Easter Sunday).  Made several calls but after the job was finished, I realized I only needed to make one call.  This guy (Mark) responded nearly immediately and the job was completed within 90 minutes of my call.  Mark had a new unit on his truck when he arrived and was prepared, neat and organized.  The one plumber that came thru for me today.  Thanks again Mark

Started using Powers Plumbing after another plumber botched a job for me.  Brought in Powers and have been using them for years.  Great service and Janice (the owner) answers the phone and remembers me now.  Everyone they've sent knows their stuff.  Most are super friendly (got a grumpy one only once).  Prices are super fair and no BS.
