I went through an exhaustive bid process for my central heating & A/C project which I recognized was a complex and difficult install. a system that in fact was two separate systems, a standard A/C system plus a mini-split system. In fact, 3 contractors would not even bid on the project. Then THA owner Matthew arrived, listened to what I was looking for and then did a thorough inspection. Once done Matthew advised that yes my project would be challenging but, we can do it. Then I was provided with a super quote both on price and the size of the equipment that would be used. I accepted.

My project lead was Victor who along with his team was diligent, knowledgeable, and worked incredibly hard throughout. Depending on the type of project, using THA can take time to get to completion. But once done, I was very happy with the results. THA even went farther than any other contractor quote with the level of follow up detail they would do as part and after the install like removing wall furnaces, drywall repair, and painting. Most others wanted to leave that to me which was in fact, a large volume of work. I am very happy with the results THA was able to achieve all around.

As my A/C project was wrapping up I had THA plumbing start a project for me. Jeff the THA lead plumber came out and did equally phenomenal work over the course of several days at my home. He is polite, quick, efficient, and obviously knows what he's doing. A real professional who does great work! And the price for the plumbing work THA performed was quite competitive as well.

Great job Matthew and team! I will be calling again. I highly recommend THA for anyone needing a plumbing or HVAC job done well at a competitive price!

Prompt response to my inquiry; showed up same day and completed warranty water heater replacement! Warranty paid for new water heater; not labor to install which was another $1500.  Meant emptying & removing the old one & driving 60 miles one way to pick up the new one; returned and installed new one after dark; however, failed to mention the exhaust pipe needed to be extended to meet code & while I was there, I picked up 8' of double exhaust pipe which would be added to my prior quote; charged an add'l $250 to buy & install extended exhaust!?! Seems pretty steep...but I guess I had to pay the OT fee??? It is hard to find competent trades people who service this area, so I'm just grateful a knowledgeable person showed up & got the job done...

Great service!  I needed a faucet installed and two angkestops under kitchen sink replaced.   This work was completed at a 60 unit condo complex where the main water controls for all units had to be shut-off.   The shut-off was more complicated than I thought and the plumber went to through the process of finding the correct valves and patiently waited until 60 units of water drained.   Once he could start work, he was very efficient in getting everything installed.   He followed up to make sure everything was reopened and functioning.   I had not used this company before.   They will definitely be my go-to company in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about Frankie, his skills, and service. I've used Frankie's Plumbing twice for a variety of issues. He's prompt, gives advance notice, very professional, clean/sharp appearance and very polite in communication (not all professionals in the trade are). These guys are my go to plumber so far I've had clogged drains and now the kitchen faucet expired for lack of a better term! Our beautiful home in Coronado has renters in for the month of July. Yesterday morning an upstairs leak caused a call to Genesis.. water was pouring out of the walls. Carlos and his crew not only came over and fixed it, but had the Sheetrock removed and replaced and painted so that the renters could enjoy the 4TH of July.. Genesis will be my plumbing company for life now. Not many people move heaven and earth to help others.. we are very grateful!!

We discovered we had a pin hole leak in one of the pipes in the ceiling of our garage on Sat at 9:00 am. Jacob said he could be here that day at around 11:30 am. He arrived right on time and I got a txt stating he was on his way. He cut into the ceiling, found the leak, and repaired the pipe. We were without water for only a few hours. We call Jacob any time we have a plumbing need.

I had the pleasure of having James came recently to repair the backflow valve of our condo building.  As it happened it was Friday before labor day weekend when we found the backflow valve suddenly started leaking, shooting a sizable stream of water on to the pavement.  In a panic, being the HOA president, I called several backflow companies trying to find someone who can repair it quickly.  I found James was the only person who was able to pin point the problem, come on the next day, and has all the parts to fix it. This particular repair required a part that usually had to be ordered and would require two visits if it was done by any of the other companies I contacted.

James came on Saturday and was able to stop the leak. However the particular part that James thought he had, not his fault, was the wrong part shipped to him incorrectly from the supplier.  But he was able to find the correct part and completed the repair on the following day.

We will retain James for all our backflow testing from now on. Many backflow testers know how to do the testing, but few have the knowledge to do the repair. You can trust James on doing both.

We've lived in our house 8 years and it took this long to find a great plumber.  I think the owner's name is Ron... he is honest, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, educates you on the problem and the solution, and is quick and up-front about costs.  He is awesome, I can't imagine why I would bother using anyone else at this point.  Awesome find.

John is an elite plumber. 30+ years experience in both new construction and maintenance work. He has done a few projects for me but most recently helped me renovate my shower/bath with all brand new plumbing and hardware. Thanks a lot for being a reliable and high quality contractor.. A breath of fresh air!

Chris has taken care of two plumbing issues at our house in PB, and I couldn't recommend him more. He arrives on time, is genuinely friendly, and clearly has a ton of experience plumbing. Both our shower and our toilet were leaking water and needed parts replaced immediately, and he had them both repaired and operational within minutes of the appointment. Whether we have another plumbing emergency or just run of the mill problems, Chris is our guy.

Needed a garbage disposal yesterday (Easter Sunday).  Made several calls but after the job was finished, I realized I only needed to make one call.  This guy (Mark) responded nearly immediately and the job was completed within 90 minutes of my call.  Mark had a new unit on his truck when he arrived and was prepared, neat and organized.  The one plumber that came thru for me today.  Thanks again Mark

Just wanted to give a warning to any and all prospective consumer who contemplates doing business with these guys.  First of all I called to get information about getting a job done on replacing a supply line from the wall to my ice maker for a new refrigerator that I bought.  The old line had some corrosion right behind the valve ( which is not out of the ordinary because the line was at least 10 years old ).

1.  $106 just to come out to inspect the job.....they charge door to door....which means from the time they get in their vehicle and arrive at your door....you are being charged at $106 per hour.  If they get caught in traffic it doesn't matter....you're gonna get charged that rate.  If it they come after 4 pm....it costs $159 and that's with no estimate for repairs.  While they are doing an estimate you are being charged.  ( If it's after 8 pm the cost is over $200 an hour....so it better be an extreme emergency for that rate)

2.  They were trying to estimate without ever seeing the issue ( which I told them was really a simple fix but because I am out of state I had renters who needed this fixed )  just replace the corroded supply line from the wall to the valve which regulates the water supply.

3.  They were already up to close to $300 and they were already talking about more charges which by this conversation was nearly $400...RIDICULOUS AND OUTRAGEOUS.

4.  I found an independent contractor who ....get this....charged no fee to come look at the issue as I sent him photos and a description of what was going on.  He actually charges by the job....if it only needs a line then he charges for the parts and labor which was less than the charge from these guys to drive over and would continue to pad the job and charge....unscrupulous business practice of weighing the consumers wallet.

5.  They even wanted to charge for phone calls in setting up a visit....added time they said!  DO NOT use these shysters as they look for excuses to charge for anything....was surprised that they didn't want to charge me for oxygen that they used to talk with me.

Let's be clear....you didn't read my review thoroughly....your conversation with my wife was listened to....I heard what you said.  You want to have carteblanche  to add charges like its some kind of taxi service and YOU DID say that you would charge for phone calls...deny it all you want.  NO....I didn't use your service and my wife cancelled the appointment for good reason....why would we commit to using your services when it's all about fees and extra charges before you even got to the residence?  You told my wife that any conversations ( phone calls that we would make would be charged...are you for real?  What spaceship did you fly in from to actually say that you will bill us for a call?  

I see that your positive reviews are from consumers that only have 1 review....that means you are using plants that give you a positive statement....paid reviews in other words.  Here's the deal Janet.....if people want to use your company then my advice to them is get a true checklist of charges.....let them hear from you that the charges are from door to door.....rate per hour which starts at $106....if after 4 pm ( it then goes to $159----who only works til 4 pm esp. with your service industry? )

My warning is for consumers who might fall for your bait and switch tactics....let them call your company to get the real story as to how you do business....but my advice is for Consumers to get a factual estimate that they sign for instead of being strung along and get charged for more things that they will obviously have to deal with.  But they need to undertand that they are going to pay the first hour even if you don't fix anything.....they will be already indebted to you and that's your companys business plan is to get them in and then add more charges, right Janet?  Nice try in trying to dilute the conversation with your convoluted response and outright lie....you know what you said and I know what I heard and what you told my wife.

If you want to continue this with half truths I'll be more than happy to keep answering you because I have ALL the facts and consumers can fact check this by calling your Company and find out if what I'm saying is honest....I challenge anybody to fact-check by getting an estimate first and charges.....I can debate this all day long and I won't charge you for it either.
