I am delighted to share my experience with Raul at R & J Plumbing & Drainage.  He did an outstanding job of replacing the quarter turn valves that were leaking and replacing some of the copper pipe in my home.

I had placed the project through Yelp and talked to a few plumbing companies to get some quotes and Raul was the one I thought was best for the job. He was quick to answer his phone. Raul was very detailed over the phone when he gave me the quote, which was very reasonable and competitive compared to other plumbers I had contacted. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the scope of the work that needed to be done.

He was able to squeeze me in the following day, which I am grateful for.

From the moment Raul arrived at my doorstep, I was impressed with his professionalism and his friendly demeanor. He was very efficient and worked diligently to replace the quarter turn valves and the copper pipe. He paid close attention to every detail and ensured that everything was properly installed and sealed. I was also impressed by how neat and tidy he kept his work area.

Throughout the entire process, Raul kept me informed of his progress and answered any questions I had. He was very patient and took the time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand.

When the job was completed, Raul cleaned up his work area and left everything in pristine condition. He even took the time to walk me through the work he had done and showed me how everything worked.

Overall, I cannot recommend Raul enough. His attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent customer service are truly exceptional. If you need a plumber who will do an excellent job, Raul is the person you should call.

Gary came out to our office adn fixed our sink right away. Very professional and good pricing.

Mark is great, honest, and pricing is reasonable. He was able to have the issue resolved the next day and his assistant Chris brought the correct parts and installed the new sink parts at the price we had agreed to. Mark is willing to go the extra mile and work with the customer and he has shown consideration. I will be using his services in the future and you should as well. It is great to find an honest plumber who cares about customer satisfaction.

Jesse with SD Rooter saved the day and did a great job with another plumber failed to show up for our main drain blockage problem. From the initial call for help, to completing the job they were great. Jesse was on-time, friendly and is a dog lover! I like using local folks for services, so if you are in the Bonita area, Jesse & SD rooter gets 5 stars and 2 thumbs up from me.

I recently moved to San Diego and was referred this company from a neighbor whom also uses this service. I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and welcoming response I received when calling to set an appointment to assist my units system, there was a nerve wracking sound that's would bother us at night, I believe it was a woman named Marie that quickly got someone out to our place to keep me from going through another night of that unbearable sound. I am so thankful for having Tino come. It ended up that the bidet I wanted to install on my toilet was not compatible; but it was invaluable the knowledge I received when I asked Tino for a whole house inspection. Several neighbors on my street had serious water leak damages which cost considerable amounts of money and time dealing with what could have been prevented. I believe in being proactive instead of reactive.

Tino tested my water pressure which was 87 psi. Code or maximum pressure should be no more than 80 psi.  This is a trigger for damaged pipes caused from too high pressure.  My pressure regulator was failing so he installed new one.  

The other areas that needed correction:

1.  Under my kitchen sink, there are improper fittings which can can cause premature failure.  My plumbing in kitchen had been recently installed in a complete remodel about 4 years ago, so it was relatively new.
2. My bathtub didn't have a p trap which is not proper which was found by inspection under my house. We saw that the water just poured out of the bathtub pipe connection onto the ground.
3.  There was a metal strap holding up one of my copper pipes which causes galvanic corrosion. It is so good Tino caught this as it destroys the pipe. Tino wrapped rubber tape around pipe where other metal strap couldn't touch.
4. Two of my neighbors had water leaks they didn't know coming from their washer hoses which seeped into their floors and not only damaged their laundry but was far reaching into drywall and surrounding rooms.  Insurance does not cover seepage because it is a maintenance issue and not a sudden event like an overflowing tub or washer.   To prevent this from happening to me, Tino replaced my washer hoses with stainless hoses and also added antiknock valves which are when a surge of water jerks the hose and causes movement loosening the fittings.
5 . My tankless hot water heater needs flushed. This prevents clogging but I didn't know it should be done routinely,

All of the items above were found in maintenance inspection that I asked for. It was not Tino trying to up sell.  He took pictures and videos of everything he saw underneath my house so I had documentation.  It always scared me what one might find under the house, lurking, and never knowing until it was too late. Now I can address each item in order of importance and keep my home safe from catastrophic surprises.

It is so comforting to have met Tino, not only for having problems taken care of,  but his kindness,  helping educate me in maintaining my home.

He showed up right at appointed time.  I researched everything online for going rate of plumbers and he is right on target.

Please know that I found Tino on Yelp through the reviews of others with no prior knowledge of him or who he was.  I always check Yelp before I hire anyone.  I support the other positive reviews people had taken the time to post for others who do their research before hiring anyone.

Had a great experience with BDP. They came later in the day around 5pm and finished in about 20 min. The problem was not as I described and turned out it was less than what was quoted. Overall helpful and nice!

Robby with Akamai Plumbing is an outstanding professional. He and his crew are prompt and do great work at reasonable prices. We recommend them and refer them to anyone.

I had concerns that we had a leaky pipe behind a wall of our master bedroom shower.  Thankfully, this wasn't the case but Frankie still made it out in a timely fashion, walked me through everything he was doing, and re-caulked and cleaned up better than before.  While there is an initial visit/diagnosis fee, it is deducted from any final repair quote provided if I choose to move forward with the recommended repairs.

He provided options,  showed up on time, and was very polite. I would use him again in the future.

I called this company to fix leaking pipes in both bathroom and Delbert came out the same day to give me an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and professional so I scheduled an appointment to fix it a couple days later. He was on time and finished the job faster than expected. I am very happy with the service and will definitely use this company again.

Awesome service. JC/ Robert was awesome. Called because I needed a plumber to snake my main. Were here in less than 30 minutes on a Friday!
Turned out my house wasn't exactly built correctly and 60 years later we finally found the real reason the drains weren't working properly.
Needless to say if you need an:
1) Affordable
2) Honest
3) Worthwhile and can find the real problem, not create a plan for more service..

Plumber, check with these guys. I was not disappointed in the least.

My gas line for my stove came out of the wall with a straight connection.
For a new stove I needed the gas line coming out of my wall to come out at a right angle tight with the wall so the stove could be pushed up to the wall.
Jacob responded quickly and showed up at my house early and had the job completed in less than a half hour and relit my water heater.

If you're looking for a plumber and have come across this review...then your search is over! Not sure why it took me 2 weeks to write this review...with how awesome Ron is, I should've wrote it the same day. I was having so much trouble finding a plumber on a late Saturday afternoon until I called Ron, who came out in about 30 min!  He was literally 1/3 the price of a well known company, just to come out and asses the situation. Ron was very thorough, helpful and overall great guy.

He installed our water filter system which was reverse osmosis, and since I live at the beach it was rusted and really difficult to install. He did it quickly and effectively and with a smile on his face. Clearly he knows what he's doing as well as a professional plumber.

He mentioned he used to install big plumbing systems for big labs up in La Jolla. It's clear that he knows what he's doing and I would definitely use his services again.

Very hard worker, on time and professional every job he does is quality work!

Mark came out this morning and quickly spotted the issue. We agreed and quickly moved forward. Everything was wrapped up speedily and satisfactory.  

I have his number saved for future issues and projects.

These guys quoted an hourly rate. After completing the work in less than an hour, using NO new parts, added a previously undisclosed charge for shop supplies/consumables. I consider this misleading fraud.
