I recently purchased a home in Laguna Niguel and needed the services of a plumber.
I was not looking forward to this trade search as I've had a few bad experiences with a different home in another city.
I took to Yelp to try and find a reputable plumber. I looked at many plumbers and many, many more reviews.
I had the good fortune to find Mark the owner of Efficient Plumbing. His company had 290 - 5 star reviews. I read like the first 20 - 25 reviews and decided this was the company for me. Mark did not disappoint!

I have a European thermostatic cartridge that needed replacing in the shower. After locating the part I scheduled the repair with Mark.

Mark was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, detailed orientated and very fair with his pricing.

I'm happy to report that I'm giving Mark and his company its 291st - 5 star review!

I had this company install a whole house filter after Palomar Plumbing tried to gouge me on a quote. Tino Arce is this company. He is a one man band but does a great job. He quoted me a price almost 1/2 of what Palomar's was and did a top notch job. His solder joints are very clean. He mounted the system in a very secure way and explained each step he performed. He even inserted that special paper between a copper pipe and a metal bracket to prevent a chemical reaction that corrodes copper. I only had to wait a few days before he was available. He responded to my email and text requests in a reasonable amount of time. [It's hard to answer a text when you have a torch in your hand]. I highly recommend Tino for plumbing work. By the way, my brother, asked for his name and had him replace a shower faucet system [had to open drywall] and told me Tino did a good job for him as well. I will be remodeling my master bath next year and I have no doubt I will have Tino do the work.

Responded to my request immediately and showed up right on time. Shaun was friendly and professional and did a thorough job in a short time. He left the place clean and the price was very agreeable. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

Had a clogged toilet. Called a few places and was given all kinds of charges and what if scenarios. Called Robbies and was given a straight forward price. Had them come out and within an hour had everything back to normal. Easy to work with and no hidden charges. Thanks again for getting our office back to normal.

I cannot say enough good things about Frankie, his skills, and service. I've used Frankie's Plumbing twice for a variety of issues. He's prompt, gives advance notice, very professional, clean/sharp appearance and very polite in communication (not all professionals in the trade are). He finds the solution every time and is very efficient with installments and fixes. I highly recommend Frankie's Plumbing.

7:30am I woke up this morning and found a drip coming my garage ceiling. After 30 min of detective work I came to the conclusion that it was probably a leak from the water heater pipes above. I called several places before them at 8:00 am and asked if they had availability that morning since I was attending a wedding at 1pm. No one was available until I called Premier. The said that they could get someone to at least asses the situation around 10am. They came and within less than an hour was able to find a hole in the copper pipes from the water heater and then fixed it as well. I told them how grateful I was that they were able to come within two hours of calling and they said no problem. I highly recommend them next time.

Carlos and Genesis Plumbing were quick to asses the problem (our condo complex had intermittent water pressure, and we were not able to shut off the water to the whole building), and provided a number of options for our HOA to analyze.  On the day of install/repair, Genesis showed up when they said they would, and performed the work they promised.  We have had a very good experience with Genesis and we have recommended them to other residents in our building.

Second time using Trusted Water Systems.  After we had them come out to replace our old water heater, we decided to have a water filtration system installed.  Called Jacob and he installed it for us.  Gotta say he knows his stuff.  He came to our house and installed it in a few hours.  Like l said in my other review he was polite, knowledgeable and left my garage area neater than when he showed up.  Give him a call if you need anything done, he's the Man for the job!!!  Thanks again Jacob for another job well done.

This guy James?? Insane Service, no is not in his vocabulary... every time I call this guy he seems to make it happen for us. For that, he has all of our business. Quick responder, professional, honest and very helpful. If you need this type of work done he's the only one I recommend, he won't let you down

Just like everyone else, I give Ron 5 stars.  He's prompt, knowledgeable, very inexpensive but the best thing about Hendricks Plumbing is his integrity.  Now a days that is not something I come across very often.  I trust him.  You bet I'll be calling him when needed again.  This was the second time I used Hendricks Plumbing.  I recommend him to anyone.  Now all I need is to find an honest electrician, appliance repair person ...

This rating is only for their poor scheduling done through email which normally works fine, only they also cancelled the appointment time through email instead of an easy text or phone call. They penciled us in for a time slot said they'd txt when they're on their way, then 3 days later they sent a follow up email and then gave the slot to someone else. Unprofessional.

My water heater was burst and caused a constant (and worsening by the hour) dripping from a pipe outside the house. Mark showed up at my front door just one hour after my emergency call on Sunday morning. He drained the overflowing pan as a stopgap measure, gave me an estimate, and politely told me that I was free to comparison shop elsewhere for the necessary service. I was impressed by his straightforwardness. He installed a new heater the next day, redid the ventilation piping, and connected the city inspector for an appointment on Tuesday. No question I will use his service in the future.

Powers Plumbing came through in a big way to fix the mishap due to our hot water heater install, all is well now.  The owners and lead representatives worked after hours to sincerely remedy the problems caused by their employee's poor decisions.  We believe their efforts are quite good and their intentions as well.  

We encourage customers to be present during any and all work on their home/property, regardless of trade or specific contractors.  This would have made everyone's experience far more enjoyable.

Bad Experience...recovery pending
Hot water heater replacement was scheduled, 3 days later the first of (3) plumbers arrived at our building to execute the work.  Good start...not so much.  Old water heater was disconnected and drained, yet existing water pipes were left to leak onto the floor.  Thankfully, after returning from work at 6pm, we checked the progress and found running water flooding the laundry room.  We spent much of our evening cleaning the mess, and frantically calling the emergency contact person.  After another hour, their senior plumber showed up to handle damage control.  

Emergency repairs were coordinated promptly by their supervisor, and repairs were made to reinstall the new water heater.  As of this posting, water damage mitigation has begun, and we have hot water now on the third day.  

I'll update this as progress develops.
