Fast and reliable.  Raul came to my place with the intent to ensure I have good sewage flow.  He was very helpful and professional.  Gave me a set price and performed the task as he described.  No fuss.

Oh we had a great experience with Gary, who was recommended to us by the super nice friendly folks at The Warm Hearth. He went to put us a gas line on our big 1950's masonry fireplace and did a great job with no hesitation. You know drilling on masonry or hardwoods floors gets you only one chance. So I was a bit worried, but he knew what he was doing. Will use him again of needed. He is a very nice person too.

Called to have a leaky shower valve fixed. Told Mark it wasn't an emergency but he asked me how bad it was leaking. When I told him the how fast it was dripping, he offered to come out within an hour. He showed up on time, and had the parts required to repair the valve, no replacement required. The job was done quickly, no fuss. Mark was personable and professional.  Cost wasn't bad and payment was easy with a credit card. I'd happily call him again if I had a plumbing  job I needed done. I would definitely recommend THA. Our A/C unit went out today and living out in east county in the middle of August I immediately tried to get ahold of someone to come out to take a look at it. I called at least eight different companies and Matthew at THA was the only one that got back to me. Not only did he call me back right away but after a 12 hour work day he was already heading home but was kind enough to make one more stop. He figured out the problem, explained what needed to be fixed and within 30 minutes we were up and running again. I highly recommend them and will definitely call them again in the future with any problems. Thanks again THA!!

Prompt response to my inquiry; showed up same day and completed warranty water heater replacement! Warranty paid for new water heater; not labor to install which was another $1500.  Meant emptying & removing the old one & driving 60 miles one way to pick up the new one; returned and installed new one after dark; however, failed to mention the exhaust pipe needed to be extended to meet code & while I was there, I picked up 8' of double exhaust pipe which would be added to my prior quote; charged an add'l $250 to buy & install extended exhaust!?! Seems pretty steep...but I guess I had to pay the OT fee??? It is hard to find competent trades people who service this area, so I'm just grateful a knowledgeable person showed up & got the job done...

Roughly five years ago, our itty-bitty bathroom needed an update in the worst possible way. Relying on word-of-mouth, we decided to engage the services of a handyman familiar with our property to complete the task. While our bathroom project was eventually completed, it never quite measured up to our expectations nor our investment in time or materials.

Fast forward five years later and our fiberglass bathtub has somehow been cracked and was leaking water on the downstairs neighbors ceiling. This was a no Bueno situation and it needed to be resolved quickly. We made a quick telephone call to our homeowner's association management team, who in turn, reached out to Robbie with Akamai Plumbing.

Robbie was AMAZING to work with from the very beginning. Robbie confirmed the cracked bathtub was responsible for the damage caused downstairs. Of course, this led to a discussion of what are our options were. There were many, we could have the cracked portion of the tub cut out and new fiberglass affixed which would leave a scar. We could rip out the existing components and replace it with a prefabricated shower kit (what we had five years earlier). We could start over from scratch.

We opted to start over, and we are so glad that we did. Robbie showed us all the things that were done incorrectly during our last bathroom remodel.

We are happy to say our new shower is exactly what we envisioned, and we could not be more pleased.

Robbie was very thoughtful and methodical in his every action, from demolishing the problem shower, and down to the minute detail of dry wall, insulation, and all those other details in between when rebuilding a bathroom.

Also, we want to throw out a KUDOS to Sean and Joe from McKee Tile for their expertise in bringing our dream shower to life. And, finally, a KUDOS to the guys from Pacific Glass for their expert installation of our hanging glass doors and finishing fixtures.

When all is said and done at the end of the day, Robbie gave us the shower we had been dreaming of.

I cannot say enough good things about Frankie, his skills, and service. I've used Frankie's Plumbing twice for a variety of issues. He's prompt, gives advance notice, very professional, clean/sharp appearance and very polite in communication (not all professionals in the trade are). He finds the solution every time and is very efficient with installments and fixes. I highly recommend Frankie's Plumbing.

The gentleman were not just on time, but a few minutes earlier. My drain was unclogged in a matter of minutes. They even cleaned up the little if any mess they made. I highly recommend this company.

Called this morning at 9:15 about a backed-up kitchen sink. Was told they could have someone here in a few hours and I asked what time (because I would have tried to find someone to come sooner) and he said he could have a guy here in an hour and gave me Miguel's name. Miguel showed up on time and fixed our problem right away. He made sure to snake the drain all the way to the sewer so the problem wouldn't happen again any time soon and reminded us not to put eggshells down the drain.  It was cheaper than a different company we called couple years ago when the laundry needed to be snaked. I would definitely call Genesis again if we need them! Thanks guys

My tankless water heater is fixed now.

Awesome job.  James came to our house immediately and totally helped us out.  He saved us a ton of money compared to a competitor and was extremely helpful.  Highly recommend him!

Our bathroom pipes were clogged and I tried to find a plumber ASAP. After phoning six of them, they all said they could come out either the next day or the following day. This was not acceptable! I mean without bathrooms, what are we supposed to do--build an outhouse in the back yard?

I found Ron Hendricks on Yelp and when I called, he said he would be at our house in 45 minutes and he was right on time! Since the house does not have a Clean-out pipe in the front, Ron had to go on to the roof and use his electric snake down through the bathroom vent. All in all, the snake went about 85 feet out near the street. No obstruction was found, but Ron said the juniper bush roots out front may have broken into the sewer-line pipe. To know for certain, this requires one of those special (and very expensive) snake cameras.

In the meantime, Ron got us back-on-track and gave some useful suggestions. He also replaced an old, corroded gas line and valve below our stove burners and made sure there were no gas leaks.

I would not hesitate to use Ron again and highly recommend him.

He installed our water filter system which was reverse osmosis, and since I live at the beach it was rusted and really difficult to install. He did it quickly and effectively and with a smile on his face. Clearly he knows what he's doing as well as a professional plumber.

He mentioned he used to install big plumbing systems for big labs up in La Jolla. It's clear that he knows what he's doing and I would definitely use his services again.

I've used in the past a couple of times. Each time Chris has been on time, done a great job and cleaned up after himself.

Called these guys yesterday ,noticed they had no reviews but other plumbing companies in the area never answered phones.A little pricey for the stopped up toilet but I suppose you get what you pay for.
The booties on the shoes to protect my floors was a nice touch.

Horrendous customer service!  I rarely (if ever) write negative reviews.  I am a real estate agent and referred Power's Plumbing to a client to give an estimate and camera inspection.  After showing up over an hour late and expressing confusion over what they were there for and everything we already discussed on the phone, they proceeded with the estimate.  3 days later, my clients received an invoice that was $120 over what the clear agreed price was and when confronted, the employee who made the mistake first said they would make it right and fix it, then the owner, after accusing me to my client behind my back of creating problems, said they would not change the invoice.  
I, of course, can't charge my client for this, so I let Power's know that if they really have this much lack of customer service, they can bill me (the referring agent) the excess fee and send a separate invoice if they want payment.  They failed to do so after that and the owner just called 30 days later to pretend we never had this conversation and try to charge interest on the original invoice.  

I rarely see this bad of customer service and lack of responsibility.   Not only did they lose a $9k job over it, but any future business that I have the ability to refer.  I'm surprised they can't see past that and would rather rip client's off.  Then again, I should have seen from the negative reviews in the past that this is just how they choose to operate.  Save yourself the trouble and find a different plumber.

They are basically charging me for the Hour they made ME wait for their late arrival..   Almost laughable.
