I've used E-Drains numerous times over the previous few years. They've always done the job and I haven't had any complaints with their work. Recently, I've had a poor experience and can no longer recommend them to anyone else. I requested service for a shower drain to be cleared on 11/10/22. They were able to fit me in the following day and came to clear the drain. When the plumber arrived, he said the drain was fully cleared already and he didn't need to do anything. Soon after (11/14/22), I was billed for the full amount of the service call ($77). Although $77 is not a large amount, I took issue with the fact that no work was performed and yet I was being billed the full amount. I was assuming I'd pay some type of travel charge, but instead was fully billed. I held off paying the invoice until I could communicate with the company. I was reminded to pay the invoice on 11/21/22 and I asked why I was being billed the full amount when no work was performed. The answer was ...because we went out there and Oceanside as you know is far and gas is not cheap right now. Not a good answer and was not, as far as I was aware, part of any existing policy. On 11/28/22 I was reminded again about the outstanding bill and after sharing (again) my issue I was ignored. Instead of dragging it out any longer, I paid the entire bill that day and decided to move on. I was thanked for making the payment (which was made just 17 days after the initial service date) and I thought that was the end of it. When I had another issue recently I had a co-worker reach out to set up an appointment and she was told E-Drains would not work with me due to a previous billing issue. I reached back out and was completely ignored. I've essentially been blacklisted by this company due to a legitimate concern on their billing and, despite them never addressing my concern, I still paid the full amount a couple of weeks later (well within 30 days). I've now wasted way too much time, including this drawn out review to tell you that while I would anticipate the work done is reasonable, the billing/costs are questionable and the company's business practices are, in my experience, sketchy, untrustworthy, and just plain rude.

We just bought a house and needed a variety of small jobs done.  Darell quoted us a fair price, he showed up on time looking professional, he brought all necessary tools, equipment and supplies.  He replaced old 2-prong electrical outlets, attic and crawl space vent screens including a custom built access screen and repaired a broken fan vent that was venting into the attic.  He worked all day to get the job done well!  We will be calling Darrell again for future needs.

Our plumber told us we have a slab leak so we called Acculine Leak Detection. They were able to make it out the same day. Chris the technician found our leak in the hallway, and was actually very thorough with the whole detection process.

I chose Ideal because of the competitive rates and favorable impression from their website and other non-Yelp reviews.

Both times I called in (once for a quote; then to make an appt) the rep was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.  I knew what questions to ask regarding pricing (hourly labor rate, trip charge, minimum charge, when standard rates were in effect v. premium rates, etc.).  Luckily our issue could wait for an appt which was set 3-4 days out (not bad given I called in Friday late afternoon) so we didn't have to pay any premium charges.

Jose showed up on time, as promised and took care of our problem (refrigerator water line issue) within 30 minutes.  I was hoping to come up with something else to make up the full use of the 1 hour minimum but, alas, nothing came to mind.  He was courteous and friendly.

My entire experience was very positive and will definitely contact them again for help with any plumbing or related needs.

Carlos couldn't have been nicer, honest and more accommodating.  He worked with me with scheduling the same day appointment around my work commitments. When the plumbing issue could not be replicated despite his tireless attempts, he didn't charge us since he didn't do any work. The issue has also not reoccurred since!.  I would absolutely use Carlos for any plumbing needs in the future.

Outstanding! When my new kitchen range arrived, the installer said he couldn't remove the old range because the gas line had been piped directly into the stove and I needed a plumber to come out and change the gas piping the reflect modern standards. I called Blake and he said he could come over in about 30 minutes, which he did. He took one look and said he could fix it in 20 mins. And he did. I really couldn't believe he quickly he cut out the piping and so my new range could be installed correctly.  This was definitely one job you have to leave to the professionals because most folks don't own the kind of tools needed to complete this fix.

It's been about 2 years since we had drainhelp come out to install a clean out at our home in Escondido. It was in the fall season before some heavy raining.

They had to dig out a ditch partly in our lawn and also a portion of our driveway.

They didn't properly compact the dirt that was replaced in the hole that they dug up. In fact there was a big pile of dirt left on the side of our house after they completed the work.

After the first rain of the year (about two weeks later) the dirt around and under the clean out including the re- cemented portion of our driveway sank in because of the settling. If the job had been done correctly the settling and erosion wouldn't have been so drastic that it would break the cement and cause it and the clean out to sink in.

We reached out to DrainHelp immediately, to notify of the issue.  Spoke to Ali directly.

He said he would come out that week to take a look and fix it. he never reached back out after that or stopped by.

We repeatedly called him, and even a year later he still didn't come out, even though each time we spoke to him he said he would. It's now been almost two years and nothing has been done.

I have a friend that owns a licensed cement business in northern CA and they said the job was done poorly because the settling shouldn't happen.

In my opinion, they don't do Excellent work, don't stand by their work, and don't fix issues.

We paid $3,500 for the installation of the clean out.

Josh, the plumber, came to the house on time and assessed the issue. He unclogged the drain but said there is an issue with the pipes under the sink and he would email a quote. Overall very pleased with the service. Just waiting on that email!

After noticing my water bill was $147 more than the previous bill at my investment property, I had contacted Cody from true value plumbing to locate the leak causing this huge increase on my bill! He was able to find the cause behind my master bathroom shower, he suggested a new shower valve as the permanent solution.

I had gotten other quotes from 2 other companies before I had decided to proceed with Cody.
Ars rescue rooter quoted me $12,000!! To demo my entire shower to get access to replace the valve, & ASI came in around $2897 to replace just the valve.

Long story short True value plumbings quote was substantially lower than both of the other quotes. & he was able to replace the valve without demo & replaced the entire trim!

Alejandro is a true professional. He's prompt and communicates very well. He helped with removing a light fixture and installing a new ceiling fan in its place. His prices were the most reasonable and the quality of work is great. He will be my go to guy for all my projects.

Avoid, if at all possible. I found myself with a broken pipe on a holiday weekend and had no other options that I could find. They ended up costing me thousands of dollars and after talking to a few contractors I realized what a total scam the restoration business is. I had a similar situation happen in my own condo in LA and was able to get way better service because it wasn't on a weekend and I was able to be there to oversee the work. Setting up all of the fans and sending a couple of guys who have no idea what they are doing once or twice a day is just a scam and they seem to be in cahoots with insurance companies and will suck up all of your insurance coverage on this nonsense and will rip out floors and cupboards that don't even need it.

They were always polite which is why I gave them two stars instead of one, but apparently they are known all around San Diego as untrustworthy.

Great service from Joel and the entire company. Backed up kitchen sink fixed in about 2 hrs from initial phone call til tech left the house. Found them on the BBB site with a A+ rating, they even offer a senior discount. Joel explained the problem and solutions and was very professional. Will use this company again should we have plumbing problems in the future.

If you are looking for a reasonably-priced and very high-quality reverse osmosis system to rent or buy, Eugene at WPS is the man to speak with. I am renting a 3-gallon, under-the-sink R/O unit from him, primarily because it comes with free installation and free annual maintenance.

My unit makes the best tasting water, and a lot of it, very quickly!! Constantine was my installation technician. He took his time, was meticulous about the installation, and gave me all the instructions I needed just in case (which has never happened to me once in many years of renting a system).

Plumber Darryl was awesome, but what I paid, for a small job, was highway robbery. After a tiny senior discount, and accounting for one small connector, I was charged about $200+ Hr.

Prompt scheduling, good communication, and a skilled technician who identified the problem. Ozzie figured out that the leak originated outside of the house, from condensation dripping into a bathroom window frame. I was relieved to know that the pipes are fine. During testing, he also found a minor, unrelated problem with a bathtub drain that's not an urgent fix. But it's good to put that on the list for the next time I need to call my plumber. (My plumber actually recommended CPL--I had called him first,)
CPL was solid. I found them honest and focused on the job, not trying to sell more to the customer, as so many companies do. I would definitely call them again.
I'm very picky about service companies, and I was very pleased.
