Hello, I'm John Padilla and welcome to John Padilla Plumbing. I was trained as a plumber while serving in the United States Air Force for over 4 years. I continued in the plumbing field as a service technician for both residential and commercial plumbing in the San Diego area for several years. Next, I joined the Contractor State License Board where I worked as an investigator, dealing in construction defects and violations of Contractor License Law for over 10 years. I then re-entered the private sector in the plumbing field as a general manager. All together I have over 35 years of experience in the plumbing field.

This review is long overdue. We have hired John Padilla plumbing to work on several occasions at my mom's rental property (water heater issues), and at her home (drainage issues).
The response time was always very quick, and we were alerted by text as to when to expect the plumber(s). Problems were assessed and solved quickly and professionally by the various individuals that came to our aid.
All of them were courteous, professional, informative, and knowledgeable about their jobs. Pricing was fair, but to be fair...I would pay any price for this level of expertise and professionalism.

I was informed by a plumber/friend repairing a water line under my 66-year-old home that some of my cast iron drains were looking to be in need of repair or replacement. He was unable to do that kind of job.
I called John Padilla Plumbing based on their overall online ratings and reviews, and the fact that it is a family-owned business (with NO every-commercial-break annoying TV commercials) that I had never heard of. Call it a gut feeling.
I'd heard reports of other homes in my neighborhood getting up to $25K bids to replace the old drains, so I was really sweating what the full story was going to be. Roberto came out on day one, crawled the 20 yards under my home to get to the questionable pipes, and gave me a $2400 estimate to do what needed to be taken care of (BIG relief.) He scoped my cast iron main line out to the street and said it was in great shape for being 66 years old (time to celebrate!)
On day 2, Roberto was joined by apprentice Samuel, the offending pipes were replaced with ABS, a handy, accessible cleanout was added, and the job was done for the original bid.
I'm very pleased with the way we were treated by Padilla Plumbing employees, and the way the work was performed. I was elated to learn that my drains were in good shape for the near future. I would highly recommend this business.
Prompt service and the technicians were very polite - but they charged my wife $488 to snake a 100ft 4 pvc outdoor garden drain which turned out not to be blocked - that price seems insane but maybe it's the world these days.
I had some issues with the internal components but didn't have time to do it myself. I had 3 companies come out that all had good reviews but Julio Valle was the clear choice. A message was sent so I knew who was arriving. He correctly diagnosed the issues without a bunch of bs about the water connectors or a new toilet being needed. He got the work done efficiently and sent me pictures afterwards which I appreciated. I definitely would recommend this company and will use them again for sure. Good, fair price as well as a 30 day warranty.
Easy appointment to make, pleasant operator, tech arrived promptly, explained what he was doing and why, completed service as described. No surprises, no games, no extra sales. How refreshing.
We loved the help that Fransisco and Martin provided. They are very personable, communicative and reliable- just overall great guys! We had a new gas line installed, and it was a very big job. They came in with the lowest price of 3 bids.
Brandon B was just here to look into a situation that was preventing some of the condos at our property from getting hot water. He isolated the issue promptly and very professionally. I've worked with Javier from John Padilla Plumbing before and was happy he was available to come out again when I was questioning a potential gas leak. He texted and gave me a phone call when he was on his way which was very helpful. He discovered I did indeed have a gas leak UNDER the house.
He gave me a quote and was able to start the work the same day! His office quickly filed a permit with the city, finished the job the next day and had the inspector out the following day. All in all - a very prompt response to the issue. The gas was only out for a couple days so it wasn't a big deal. I would HIGHLY recomment John Padilla Plumbing especially if you are lucky enough to have a professional like Javier coming to your house!

I purchased an Aquasure Signature Elite water filtration system from Home Depot for $1200 and after looking up the unit and confirming it doesn't need to be charged overnight meaning they don't need to come back, Victor quoted me $2800-3500 for just the installation portion alone. This is the price you can find for a system AND installation.

$600 for 20 minutes of labor (NO parts required for job) -beyond pathetic
I had a toilet that backed up on a Friday night with guests in the house. I called John Padilla Plumbing. The phone person was very pleasant, took my information and their tech Oliver called me right back. He was here within 30 minutes and unplugged my toilet right away. Oliver was great to work with. Enthusiastic and left my toilet area spotless. I recommend John Padilla Plumbing and Oliver highly to anyone with plumbing needs.
We were having trouble with our Rinnai tankless gas water heater and their team really was helpful. Though we didn't 100% figure out what was wrong they were very patient in taking time to go through all the possibilities. The best news is it seems our water heater is working fine now after they came by so if they did something it definitely worked!

We had a garbage disposal in a new house that wasn't working and water that was coming out of the dishwasher air gap. I asked various places on Yelp for estimates and quotes and John Padilla was one of the only places that was able to give me a price range to factor into my maintenance budget.
Edgar Aguirre and Ernest Duran were able to come same day to fix the garbage disposal as well as ensure that our dishwasher also wouldn't give us any issues in the future! And the quote we were given matched the price I paid almost perfectly (off by ~10). I would definitely recommend this company and will definitely keep their business card for all future needs!
Easy to get an appointment right away, loved the texts/calls as to updates on when Roberto, the technician, was coming. This was just a kitchen faucet install but found out the shut off knobs also needed to be replaced so had to reschedule for another day. Easy reschedule with Roberto, who was so polite and friendly, explaining everything as he worked. The price was more than expected but felt better having the knobs replaced as it's an old building and probably way over due for update!!
Francisco did a great job. Came out and found the problem and two days later installed a new sump pump. He was professional and courteous.I would definitely recommend John Padilla Plumbing.

I was impressed with the service and response to my Bradford white water heater control valve. They had not initially installed the water heater but still honored the manufacturers warranty. I was impressed with the scheduling supervisor (i think victor) and would highly recommend Padilla plumbing if you want THE JOB DONE RIGHT!!!!
I wanted to post a 5 start review for Manolo & Jose, on behalf of my father-in-law, Robert. They came Tuesday morning and worked efficiently and quickly. They provided such great service to our home plumbing system. I don't know about plumbing at all, but from the info I gathered from them and my FIL, I believe they replaced a small pipe (rusted & old pipe) from the bathroom and did a fantastic job. It took them maybe less than 2 hours to complete. Job well done I'd say. Thank you again to John Padilla Plumbing company and for Jose & Manolo for completing and getting the job done. We were without water for four days because our Home Warranty couldn't find a plumber within their network to fix our water shutoff valve. We turned it off because of a leak in the bathroom and didn't want to waste water all night. We couldn't turn it on again in the morning. Our Home insurance was giving us a hard time so we finally decided to find a plumber on our own. This is when David Acosta came, he was heaven sent. He worked on the valve early in the morning and pushed all his scheduled work in the afternoon so he can fix our valve first. He understood the urgency as water is an essential part of living as we all know. He genuinely cares for people and is very kind. I wish there'll be more people and plumbers like him. Had a reroute job that was in a tight space. Despite it being even more difficult than originally expected, Rainier kept at it and worked well into Friday evening. We called JPP because we had a water shutoff valve that was so old it looked like it was going to break off if we turned it. When we called the office, scheduling an appointment was quick, and the person seemed very well versed in what we were talking about. The tech arrived the next day with the needed parts and did the repair quickly, and it all looks great. I wish that all tradespeople were this good! They also sent a follow-up email to be sure that all was well. Super professional, and will definitely call them again when the need arises.
We are in the process of selling our home. In the home inspection, there was a small issue that needed to be fixed with the water heater. We called John Padilla Plumbing based on the good reviews. They were out at the house within hours and fixed the issue. Javier was our tech and was very professional, friendly, and prompt.
I had no hot water and a leaky shower faucet. Brandon and Rainier came out and we're able to fix both my issues. I had to have my hot water heater completely replaced, which is not an easy job. Both men were professional, communicative, on time, and very nice. They always picked up their phones right away and did a great job. If you are looking for a plumber for any small or large job, I highly recommend them!
They came out immediately to give us an estimate for water heater replacement and retiring due to a water leak. After a week of waiting we called and were promised an estimate by the end of day. 2 weeks later and still nothing from them. I highly advise you to NOT waste your time!
My business had a pretty serious drain cleaning required. Brandon and Angel were professional and friendly. The drain system is flowing smooth, so I'll be getting regular service every 6 months from John Padilla. Thank you.

Because of my day job, I know a lot about Field Service companies including HVAC and plumbing - everything from process, technology, dispatch and scheduling, communication, billing down to parts, pricing, and margin.
When you have a plumbing issue, you want it resolved correctly, quickly the first time. You want someone knowledgable who does the job right. You want someone who doesn't bilk you. I ran a timer for both visits and was charged the correct labor. No b.s. rounding or anything another user commented on.
I had two separate visits - one for a leak identified by a restoration company which was a simple P Trap replacement and another to help diagnose and fix a shower leak. It turned out a join above the valve leaked and the downpipe, and valve needed replacement.
The second item especially wasn't cheap but it wasn't any more expensive than anyone else I quoted with after 5 hours of labor and parts.
Over the course of these visits. Juan and Julio showed their professionalism, expertise and ability to do the job right. Juan even saved the tile he took out and broke the smallest amount possible to get the job done.
Padilla will not be the cheapest - their labor rate of $180 is very high - but you will get the work done well. Most plumbers these days bid whole jobs of these types so you may not insight into cost structure.
Make Padilla one of the calls if you are getting multiple quotes and at least that the know the work will be done right.
I can't comment on the quality of their work. First they charge 89.95 to visit and then the technician says it's $235 just to inspect the pipes under house. So. No thanks.
Juan fixed our leaking bath shut-off value and cleaned out two of our slow-draining sinks. Juan did an excellent job, he was very experienced. I would recommend John Padilla Plumbing because they did a very professional job at a fair price.
Our bathroom sink began to flood in our apartment and immediately we called our project manager who then called John Padilla Plumbing and Randy and Danny were there within the hour to fix the issue. They were able to identify the problem, assess the damage, and fix everything with ease and in a timely manner. Randy and Danny even were able to install a new vanity within the visit since the previous one was completely water logged. What I thought was going to be a weeks worth of maintenance was able to be resolved in a day. Thank you so much!
I called the Padilla Plumbing Company and left a message for an estimate on a heater replacement . Padilla company responded very quickly and we discussed the situation . I set up an appointment and there employee Julio arrived on time as estimated. After reviewing the situation, we discussed the work needed . Before I approved he called his management and they gave me some options. I discussed the options and then proceeded with the work to be done. The Padilla company is very good with follow ups , communication and feedback . Julio did an excellent job on replacing the Water heater and inspected all the area for safety. Everything was brought up to code,

So we had an emergency and was informed to call John Padilla plumbing inc so we did, they came the next day on time and very professional. Brandon and Tristan were amazing. We had a plumbing/drain leak that was coming out from the ceiling so they had to cut through that and fix the leak. They were really fast and efficient. They didn't leave a mess or anything and cleaned up after They also informed us about what was happening, took pics of everything and was able to send them to us no problem. Thank you Brandon and Tristan, they deserve a raise!

Have always had great service. Leaking pipe under the kitchen and fixed immediately. Very reliable company.
Edgar Aguirre did an excellent job in replacing shower and bath hardware. I had a running hot water leak from an outdated two knob system that had considerable corrosion. He also replaced the faucet which also was corroded which is where the faucet was leaking where it was attached to the shower wall. Edgar was very personable and explained exactly what the replacement entailed. Fortunately there were no surprises. Definitely a 5 star company.
Javier took the time to explain various issues to me and helped identify the location of the water shut off valve to the house. We will bring them back for other projects.

Fantastic work by Edgar and Tristen. I had a severely clogged kitchen sink that ran into the mainline for the bathroom sink and shower. I don't know the last time the line was serviced , the building is over 50 years old so there was an incredible amount of build up and a very unique drain system that failed miserably . The whole house smelled terrible. Edgar and Tristen were very professional. They quickly diagnosed and solved the issue in less than 4 hours. The end result was better than I expected! I was extremely happy with their work and would highly recommend these two professionals to anyone with a plumbing problem.

Nick and Ricardo replaced my 32 year old water heater yesterday. We had a leak and they showed up almost immediately.

We had 2 toilets backed up on a weekend, were stressed out cuz Monday was a holiday & of course you pay extra for emergency... but we sucked it up and paid the extra fees... and we got an extra amazing plumber, Brandon, to come to the rescue from John Padilla Plumbing, Inc. Brandon was calm and smart and knew exactly what he was doing to provide the best service and the most cost-effective fix to our problem. I felt he was trustworthy and didn't feel like he would try to sell us services (like the rooter company that came the day before) that weren't necessary. He took time to answer my many questions without rushing me. He went the extra mile, and I have already given his name to a few neighbors and friends. At some point we all need an excellent plumber, and I will not hesitate to call again when needed.

There was some a water leak in my garage coming from unit about my garage at complex that I live at, and John Padilla needed access to my garage on two occasions to do some repairs and my tools started coming up missing from my garage out of nowhere, someone with access keys went through the crawl space on the other side of wall to garage removed the plywood broke the drywall and enter my garage, the only persons with keys are home owners Association, and John Padilla plumbing company not accusing but very suspicious

We use John Padilla Plumbing for all of our plumbing issues and needs, and have been since 2015. We've had a huge variety of work done, from replacing the water heater to bringing water heater elements up to code to fixing leaks and drains to replacing pipe and fixtures to replacing the sump pump. Every person I've talked to and had come to the house has been extremely prompt, professional, friendly, great at their job and finish in a timely manner. Plus, it's easy to talk to a person in the office right away and get jobs scheduled quickly. I've only compared their estimates to 1-2 other companies over the years and they are usually a great price. All of the plumbers I've talked to give honest feedback, answer all my questions and take the time to explain why they are doing something and how it works, and are never condescending. I truly appreciate this. We are happy with all their work and only call them for our projects. Most recently Manny was at our new house to give an estimate for items from our house inspection, and he supplied two different options to choose from. Again, he answered all my questions and was a pleasure to work with. Can't recommend John Padilla Plumbing enough!

Just started using Padilla plumbing..first water heater install was outstanding..we have 9 condos will use them again...second time having Ricardo Vasquez on property for repairs reason I'm leaving this he was GREAT!
Had a slow leak behind the wall in my bathroom, my HOA came out to inspect and left a giant hole in the wall but called John Padilla Plumbing. Randy was the tech who came out, he was early, efficient, respectful and even helped out with cleaning up when he was all done. Our unit is set up that when he needed to shut off the water it shuts off to 15 other units as well, so he was conscious of this as well which I thought was nice. Randy was also respectful of my pets, I have a dog who is not a fan of new people and him respecting that was huge. My pipe is repaired, no leaking, and both hot and cold water are working wonderfully.

For years I have had a very tempramental wall heater that just seems to need service, parts & repairs every winter. I was lucky to get a technician the very next day after my late night request. Jose Gomez was the tech that came to my rescue on time, courteous & knowledgeable about my direct vent wall heater. Where others had been stumped on how to fix it he was able to diagnose the issue and got it repaired once and for all.
I highly recommend Jose & Padilla plumbing and will continue to use & refer them for years to come.
Had a long conversation with the owner and he listened and recognized the reasons for my dissatisfaction.
He took it as an opportunity to improve training for his plumbers and made it right. They missies clean outs near sidewalk which would have made it clear the blockage was on the city lateral because it was compromised.
On our home purchase, the general inspector recommend further inspection by HVAC and plumbing experts. So I worked with John Padilla for both of these services and am not completely satisfied. It was convenient to do both inspections with one company and it was affordable as well. Also, their breakdown reports of the repair/replacement costs helped in the negotiations with the seller. But there are a couple of items where I think the whole thing could be improved:
1- For each inspection (plumbing and HVAC), two inspectors came. The HVAC guys were late by 40 minutes which caused the realtor agent to miss his next appointment.
Before the inspections, I had already provided them with the general inspection report. They were mostly reading the report and just doing visual inspections for the water heater, AC, and furnace units and agreeing with the general inspection report. The whole thing took them about 20 minutes. I was expecting them to at least have some testing equipment, for example, the plumbers to do water tests to see if there is a sealed leak behind the walls and stuff like that. Or HVAC guys to check the condenser level of the unit. It was only a visual inspection.
2- They had initially stated their report will take up to 48 hours. It came in after 2.5 days and it was only after I followed up on the third day and asked them for it, they said they are working on it then sent it within the next couple of hours. I had initially told them that the inspection contingency deadline is really close so I would appreciate it if you could send the reports earlier and they said they'll do their best. And after looking at the one-page reports (cost breakdowns), they must have taken less than an hour to write each. Also, during the inspection they verbally and strongly recommend replacement of the units. So I asked them to include these verbal statements in their reports. But it was not there. It was just a cost breakdown. So to me this was not much of an inspection and more like a cost estimate by actual plumbers and HVAC guys.
John Padilla Plumbing is the official plumber for my HOA condo building. They have done several jobs in my unit, and multiple jobs for the whole building. They even put in a brand new water heater for the building and the hot water has never been better. I highly recommend them for any Plumbing need. Ricardo Vasquez has done work in my unit two times, and even installed the building water heater. They are the most professional plumbers I am aware of in San Diego.
Lifesaver! Thank you for your emergency service at around 10pm on a Sunday evening. It's a huge relief to not have to worry about the clogged bathroom sink going into the workweek. Your technician was very kind, polite, and accommodating. I would recommend this company. The reason that I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had to clean up the mess that was left on my bathroom floor from the technician's equipment. After paying $175 for a 20 minute emergency service, I would think that should be included. Overall I am very grateful. Thank you!
These folks do exceptional work. We purchased a home in the greater San Diego area, and we contracted John Padilla Plumbing, Heating & Air to do multiple repairs and upgrades that were discovered during the inspection process (for both plumbing and HVAC work). The work was completed, on time, with the same care and quality that one might show to their own home.
There was one SNAFU during the process- we were not able to fit our washer into a washer pan that was installed (this was nobodies fault- the washer wasn't on site, a standard size pan was installed, and we didn't know there was an issue until we moved in with our stupid big oversized washer.) John, Victor, David, and team prioritized our issue right away, and made everything right with the world.
We live in an era where there are many companies to choose from to do pretty much anything you need done. When choosing, quality is #1 on my list. However, quality is very closely followed by good customer service. Communication, politeness, professionalism, timeliness, and the desire to deliver a quality product all factor into that, and John Padilla Plumbing, Heating & Air hit the mark on all those fronts.
I will definitely be calling on them again once the AC unit in my house inevitably meets its rusty end, and for any plumbing related things I might need in the future.

Matthew came over to our house last week to give us a quote on installing a ductless cooling/heating system and while we are stilling waiting on some other details to get ironed out on our side, we were very impressed with the service! Matt spent almost two hours at our home looking at options for installation and prepared a detailed quote before leaving... that's two hours with no guarantee of any future service. Once we figure out things with our HOA, we'll definitely be contacting John Padilla Plumbing to get everything going! I'm looking forward to working with this company in the *hopefully* near future!

I think it is so important to support our local businesses particularly when they exceed my expectations.
I had a leak in my sewer line and had three different opinions on the location and the cost. Their price was reasonable and upon inspection they didn't try to up sell me on any other repairs or issues.
Brenden from Padilla came out, Victor then gave me an estimate and were able to schedule the work the next week. They had to work an extra day as the line was deeper than they expected so the excavation took longer. They completed the work and did not charge me any extra for the time as they stood by the original estimate and applied the credit for the initial visit.
They took photos and had a live camera feed which they emailed me for my records.
After the job was complete they followed up with a call to make sure all the work was satisfactory, which it was.

My property manager called to fix a leaky faucet a few weeks ago which I wasn't made aware of till now. When I saw they paid $496 I immediately thought something was off. I called to inquire why it was so high. I was told that in addition to the hour of labor I was charged for an hour of drive time. Out of the many times I've used plumbers I have never been charged for drive time. They also charged me $286 for a $149 faucet, but then told me this is their cost and they don't mark up parts. But wouldn't show me the invoice as proof. I am disappointed by the lack of transparency and honesty in their pricing.

Water Heater went out. Came out in 1 hour and went to work replacing it. Did great job.
Disappointed that we paid a lot of money for an inspection before purchasing our house and none of these issues were found. The lines are all corroded and the upper parts of a pipe were completely open and exposed. Still smelling sewer everyday when I brush my teeth or was my face. Had I known I had thousands and thousands of dollars in repairs needed, I could have negotiated with the sellers, or moved on to another house.

I requested for someone to fix our heater from our landlord and he directed me to this company for assistance. I received a call asking to schedule an appointment for my house repairs and was able to schedule one within that week when I was next available. I was given a two hour window of when someone would be arriving at my house for the repairs I needed that day.
On the day of my appointment I received a courtesy call from Jose, reminding me of my appointment and letting me know he would be arriving in 15 minutes. He showed up earlier which was very nice. He was very friendly and helpful in addressing our heater situation and was able to assess and fix our unit in under 15 minutes. He told us exactly what are problem was, which was very helpful to know. I am very pleased with my experience with his company as previous ones I have worked with have been late to appointments and sometimes unable to fix the issues present at my house. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for qualities of reliability and efficiency from someone who is going to fix your home repairs.

If you love problem-solvers, you'll love Justin! As newish home owners in North Park, we had yet to have our HVAC system serviced. As it turns out, it had never been serviced since it was installed 12 years ago by an unknown company.
Justin is extremely knowledgeable, down to earth, and loves problem solving. He is definitely not a salesman as he could have told me to have this, that, and the other thing done and I wouldn't have been the wiser, especially with a 12 year old system. We received a thorough run-down of what could be done down the road but nothing was immediate. All I paid was the price of the check-up. Justin and Carlos make a great team!

Finally, a heating Guy that's honest and experienced. Matt diagnosed what was wrong with my wall furnace, got it running, then went out and bought the proper part, came back & installed it. Matt explained what he was doing and educated me on some of the finer points of wall heaters. The bill was very reasonable - much much cheaper than having to buy a new wall furnace - which is what the first company said I needed. Very refreshing to deal with Matt and John Padilla plumbing. They have earned my loyalty from here on out. Merry Christmas to all.
Poor quality. They need to figure out plumbing services. They went to my apartment to fix some pipes and they said the problem was snakes!!! Yes! Do you believe that?
I hardly ever hire contractors for work I need done on my house, but HVAC is something that I leave to the pros. Although, I'm still hesitant when hiring contractors.
Working with John Padilla Plumbing was outstanding. The tech that came out was on time, very informative and moved quickly in troubleshooting my AC and making repairs. In and out in less than an hour. He fixed the problem and also helped me clearly understand what the problem was so I was comfortable with what was going on.

The best customer service bar none. Had our AC unit go out called at 8pm left a message first thing the next morning at 8:00 am Alex called my wife and the service tech arrived within an hour diagnosed the problem and fixed the unit. The tech was very professional and took his time to explain to my wife why and what needed to be addressed. I would recommend John Padilla Plumbing, Heating & Air.
John Padilla Plumbing has saved me! I am a recent widow and my refrigerator went out. My husband handle so many of these things so thought I was doing good, bought a new fridge took all the measurements ect. delivery company comes to deliver the fridge and my water line shut off was not working therefore they could not turn the water off. Essentially, the new fridge was in the garage. Brandon came that afternoon, repaired the valve and disconnected the water line n the house. The appliance delivery people now said they could not return for a week to move my new fridge so not the kitchen and they said they would not hook up the water line because the shut off valve needed to be in the house! Brandan explained this wasn't unusual and we made an appt. for a few days later, I will have some friends more ve the new fridge into the house and Brandon will return and hook up the fridge. Thank you to everyone from John Padilla Plumbing for dealing with a crying and confused nut and walking me through this whole mess. They actually cared about me and this is a company that understands that s was more than a plumbing issue to me!! I love you guys so much!
Horrible customer service. No workers comp. policy either. They left a mess after a job they overcharged us for .
Our tv room had no heat/ac ducts and another area of the house had insufficient airflow. Two different heat/ac companies came out and one said it was impossible to add ducts to our tv room; they wanted to install a separate system for just that room. The second company wouldn't even look up in the attic; they said the only way to do the job was to run duct work across our roof. Fortunately we found Matt Getz at Padilla and he designed two options; both of them were about half the cost of the other two companies' estimates. Bottom line, we now have heat/ac in our tv room and good airflow to the area that had almost nothing. Big thanks to Matt for his ability to figure out a way to solve our problem. And also big thanks to the two excellent installers; Jose Gomez and Fernando Torres.....they did a great job. Well done Padilla!

The job was done in a clean and professional manner for the price quoted. Services were completed within the time estimate and several complicated hurdles were overcome with great skill. I would recommend with confidence the services of John Padilla.
I went out for bid with 3 companies and Jimmy won me over with the best offer. He was also Project Manager and was on the job every day until the completion. He was always available to answer any questions and concerns--just a phone call away making sure I was satisfied.
Justin, Thomas and Javier worked on the installation. The whole team is top notch and extremely knowledgeable. I immediately knew that they love what they do. I compared Justin to a doctor because he explained what he was doing each step of the way. Thomas was so very accommodating. He was patient with all the questions I had and went the extra mile to do little things like make sure my place was kept clean as they progressed. Javier worked diligently and quietly on the furnace/heat exchanger unit. They are a fantastic, skilled, professional team. I highly recommend the company and the team.
When shopping around, I repeatedly heard the phrase, you can buy any equipment, it's the installation that counts. With the passion that Justin, Thomas and Javier have for what they do, I felt at ease knowing I was going to have a system that will work smoothly and efficiently for many years. Poor customer service.
When scheduling this appointment, I requested a 30 minute courtesy call (since I would be coming from work). They assured me this wouldn't be an issue. When the phone rang, it was not the courtesy call I was anticipating, but rather the technician, standing at my door, frustrated and wondering why nobody was answering the door. I offered to reschedule, but he agreed to wait. Upon my arrival, he kept complaining about how long he had to wait (30 min), although the requested courtesy call was not provided. The company seems unorganized, with clear disregard for their customers.
My wife and I were apprehensive about using these guys because companies that advertise a lot sometimes disappoint you, but our furnace was not working and we had newborn kittens in the house. We needed a repair done fast and done right.
John Padilla Plumbing, Heating and Air did not disappoint.
- They answered the phone on a Sunday and were available on President's day.
- They arrived on time and called to confirm the appointment before they got there.
- Justin and his brother (?) were well dressed, professional and courteous.
- They found out what the problem was, were able to get a pretty inexpensive part to fix the heater, and found a gap in the roof outlet that had allowed leaking during the recent rains.
- They finished all the repairs in one day for about $350.00.
- Our furnace is pretty old, but it's never sounded better.
Based on this experience, we'd use them again.

I am the Vice President of a 22 unit HOA building in the Golden Hill area.
We have been seeking assistance with retrofitting a building from 1986 with new, up to code, HVAC systems for well over a year. With more effort than I care to reflect on, and countless contractors coming in and out, finally, Justin walked through my door. I swear, the man should wear a halo and angel wings, or a cape, or something that lets you know he's a god-send, because, man, is he! The estimate process with John Padilla Plumbing was quick, and precise. Working with their internal support staffer, Victor, the project instantly became easier. They provided me various options, project costs, and assisted with gaining our permit from the city when my own efforts fell short. Upon installation, Justin returned with his team, Javier and Raul. As a custom builder sometimes I or my team get too busy to work on our own homes. You need a reliable substitute sometimes who can step up and get the job done. Justin at John Padilla plumbing not only showed up a few minutes early and ready to work, but he went above and beyond completing plumbing/HVAC task around my own home for me. I even had a water main break while he was there. Justin jumped in and wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty & installed a new valve quickly to get us back up and running.
I recommend recommend John Padilla plumbing and give Justin 10 stars out of 5 for customer service. I will not hesitate using them again.

As an electrical service contractor myself, (and a very good one) I took a shot with Padilla Plumbing exclusively from all the great Yelp reviews, and also because any Yelp complaint was answered and explained very quickly by the owner, John Padilla. Seems the few bad reviews , the one stars, were written by people who had no involvement with the hiring or the scope of work agreement process due to property management companies being the agency that did the hiring, and the management companies have no complaints or issues that I can find. some were just unhappy that they had plumbing problems!
Plumber / tech David came out, called me twice before arriving, gave me a great quote, and there were no surprises when the job was completed. I highly recommend this company if you have plumbing issues.

Justin and Raul were amazing! Very nice and professional. So glad they were able to help replace the thermalcouple on my water heater. The price was also $550 less than another plumber who came out the day before. They were able to come out the same day I called for help and fixed it in about 20 minutes. Finally have hot water!

Matt from Padilla Plumbing called me to apologize for inadequate follow-up regarding our quote. He was sincere in expressing his regret and expressed that this did not meet his or Padilla's standards of customer service. I take him at his word and appreciate him addressing this in a timely manner.
John Padilla Plumbing came in with the lowest quote of 3 bidders for a big plumbing job ($6000) on our house. They also did the inital inspection when we bought the place. The guys were friendly and they got a big job done in 5 days (they said 3 days at the beginning of the job but I expected it to take longer).
I took off 1 star because they cut a big hole in the dry wall behind our fridge and refused to patch it, said it wasn't part of the job.
Anyway, overall they did a decent job and met the estimate. I had to argue on the phone a bit with them when paying. When the inital inspection was done, they said if I gave them the job the cost of the inspection ($350) would go towards the total bill at the end. The guy on the phone told me that was BS but then called me back and said the owner said it was OK (minus 1 star for not believing me).
If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst plumbing company I've ever experienced. We've had a leak in our roof and called the plumbing company to come fix the problem. After a week of hearing someone from the office will call you we finally were able to get someone to come look at the leak. The guy who came out said we have to get permission from the floor above you to access the leak and we will have the office schedule an appointment to check the upstairs pipe. It's been two days now and have heard nothing. We called the office and nobody can figure out why there has been no response and now we're being told to call the office again. I now have moldy cabinets, a ceiling that's about to collapse and pots and pans all over my hallway and kitchen to prevent my floors from flooding not to mention the on call technician was extremely rude. Does anyone even work in this mysterious office that doesn't take care of their customers???
I found this company on Google and read the reviews. I had another plumber lined up for various plumbing jobs but when my water heater started leaking the first company could not come out for two days. Called John Padilla and they came out right away with a brand new water heater and at a better price!! I not only purchased the water heater but a new toilet, kitchen faucet and repairs to other plumbing issues. Julio was my plumber for all of my work and he was fantastic!!!! These guys are great! On the few days it gets cold here in SD, my heater broke, and they were able to send a crew over within hours to fix it. Justin and his team-Daniel and Javier-were very friendly and respectful. I felt like Justin wanted me to have what was best for the house, and explained all of the options so we could make an educated decision about which direction to go in (we needed to fix both the heater and the ac). When you least expect it, your water heater goes out, floods the entire garage and you're in the midst of hosting folks for dinner that night. I had called on Padilla Plumbing in the past and did not hesitate to call on them again. Within the hour of my frantic phone call a professional plumber was sent to my home. He determined my 16 year old water heated had finally given out and needed to be replaced. While draining the water heater the plumber called the office and advised we needed a new water heater. One and half hour later the owner of the company, Mr. Padilla himself showed up with a spanking brand new water heater. They both removed my old heater and reconnected the new without a glitch. Did I mention that they also made sure my garage was all mopped up and tidy.
I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family. Thank you Mr. Padilla and staff you're the best!

I would give a star minus if I could.....I had SDGE come check my furnace out New Years day... No heat for 2 weeks!! He assured me that my furnace was in good working order but my circuit board was not, and needed to be replaced, shouldn't cost much. The SDGE technician was ADAMANT, you do not need a new furnace, don't let anyone talk you into replacing this furnace. He would not give me a recommendation, said it would be a conflict of interest. I respect that. I went on Yelp and looked at several company's, read reviews, called many and ask prices for a diagnostic Inspection and went with John Paddilla , the price for that ($89.00) was reasonable compared to $150.00 from several others, and I could get a technician there Monday. A nice very young man came, did the diagnosis and confirmed the circuit panel needed to be replaced. He went outside and called to get a price for the circuit board $80.20 which took him 7 minutes to remove , OMG!!! My quote to REPLACE.... $789.00 plus $80.00 for a circuit board!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! How is that possible?? He told me I could save $200.00 if I became a Premier member. How do you become a Premier member I ask, Well you pay $200 to become a Premier member AHHHH So let me get this straight... I spent $200 to save $200??? Oh but here's the nice thing, you get 2 SERVICES on your furnace for 1 year. Who needs to have their $780 fixed furnace serviced 2 times in one year????? well I can come and change your filter. What the heck???? I paid the $89.00 service charge and ask the nice young man to leave my home. Im having my furnace fixed by a licensed H&A technician for $150.00 plus the cost of the circuit board!!! Seriously... I'm not an idiot.... That's just

Incredible service. Prompt and always courteous when they come. I have 3 properties I use these plumbing services for. They are always the best priced and have always left cleaner than they came. I had them snake my shower today which the company my building uses for plumbing said didn't have to be snaked. It clearly did because the water is actually draining now which it hadn't for over a month. They also do great work for heating and air conditioning. I have found my number one plumbing company in San Diego.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They are the most honest, reliable and professional plumbing and HVAC company we (Advent Real Estate and Property Management) use. I love the office staff. Victor and Sam are so good on the phone! They reply promptly on email and invoicing is the best! John and Johnnie are the best owners/directors of the company and will gladly talk to me or to my clients. It is so much easier to protect our clients and their investments when our vendors are trustworthy like they are.
This company came out to my rental unit as one of my property manager's contractors to perform a tune-up of my tenant's AC system. What I get back (after paying about $150 for the visit) is a laundry list of upgrades to a ten-year air handler and condenser that amounted to an estimate of about $3,500. All of it totally unnecessary and impractical. The evaporator coil had a glaring leak and was completely rusted out; a blind person could have found it. It needed a new evap coil or a completely new air handler, either route works depending on one's budget. Somehow they didn't find the rusted out and leaking evap coil during the initial tune-up visit. So, they add leak detection dye and coolant unnecessarily for $800 after, only to have the coolant and dye leak out of the bad evap coil. So, all in all, I wasted about $1,000 in poorly diagnosis' and unnecessary work. I had a competitor come out and give me an honest evaluation and this company was baffled as to why Padilla approached this job the way they did. Trying to turn a Ford (a ten year-old air handler) into a Caddilac with unnecessary upgrades and bells and whistles ($3,500 worth) when all it needed was a new evap coil or entire air handler boggles the mind. Do not use this company for anything AC related. Shady. Trust me.
Had John Padilla Plumbing come out to repair a main line break and later re-route supply for a new dishwasher. They're responsive and friendly. They did have to come out on a warranty call because there was dirt in the line from the main line repair. They didn't complain or try to get out of it. They came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly while also being professional and friendly. They also appear to use their own employees (not subcontractors). Subcontractors charge top rate, then the plumbing company charges on top of that. I don't sense any sleeze factor in dealing with these guys.
I would give this company 10 stars if I could. What a wonderful surprise. It's nice to see there is still a company out there that is punctual, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and goes above and beyond for a customer. We're new customers, but will absolutely be long time customers. When I called our old company for an appointment to inspect and tune up our AC unit (that they installed), along with the heating unit, I was told they would not be able to come out until October! It was June 21 when I called. Surely didn't want to bother with a simple inspection. I was referred to John Padilla, called for an appointment and was scheduled the following day! Both the scheduling person, Sam, and the technician, Thomas, were wonderful. All checked out great, no surprises or extra fees. It's been a long time since we've had such a pleasant surprise..... manners, professionalism, courtesy. So nice.

My home in Bay Park suffered about $30,000 in damage due to a jammed up toilet. The restoration company recommended John Padilla Plumbing to check out the toilet. I called and Padilla gave me a next-day appointment.
Alex, the plumbing supervisor, was there right on time. He brought along booties to wear in the home--very thoughtful.
While I had Alex there, I also asked him to take care of a leaky bathtub fixture that i could not fix myself. Alex turned off the water line and immediately figured out the bathtub problem. He then went and searched through to plumbing supply stores to get the perfect stem replacements.
He found the toilet was blocked and couldn't be snaked in any way. He said if I get a new toilet that he'd install it right away. He recommended Kohler between $100 and $200--no more.
I immediately got the replacement toilet from Home Depot and called Padilla Plumbing for an installation visit. Again, next day was promised.
Alex showed up right on time and installed the new toilet in less than an hour.
The new toilet and bathtub fixtures work beautifully. Padilla is the only plumber for me in the future.

One word. Awesome. These guys came out on time, called ahead of time to let me know they were on their way and knocked it out fast. They even gave me some tips what I can do next time to avoid having to call. The last plumbing company told me I would have to replace my main line, and wouldn't even come out when the line was plugged two days later. John Padilla plumbing was able to snake the line, and 3 months later still no problems. Great customer service, very professional, and honest.
I hired This company to replace two water heaters in my duplex a week ago. I paid over two thousand dollars to get this done. They told me they would install them up to code. Turns out they only used one strap to bolt one heater to the wall. Code is to use two straps per water heater. I had to call them to get it fixed. I would not use this company again. Unbelievable shoddy and fraudulent work.
$6,000 repair estimate that we fixed instead with a $1.00 tablet and blowing out a line. The problem is that they told us our A/C water leak was from a leaking drain pan that would be $1500 to replace, or, if unreplaceable, $5,000 for to put in a new air conditioner (a little closet unit) plus $1,000 for some certification thing. We decided that if we couldn't just glue/seal the leak in the pan we'd put our own drain pan in the area below the unit and reposition the pump to keep it drained. That would have cost $7 and some time, but it turned out that the drain line was simply plugged. It was terribly obvious. It turned out that we were supposed to be dropping a little tablet into the drain pipe every couple of months (thanks Google). We didn't know. They could have told us that rather than suggesting a $6,000 repair.
I heard about this company on 760 KFNB. I called them and they sent out their HVAC manager Justin Woods the same day to give me an estimate. He came the next day and did work that their company doesn't even usually do, but he said he would be happy to do it anyway. He showed up today and did the work. The time it took went over the estimate, but he was only going to charge me for what he told me originally in the estimate. The entire process from beginning to end was professional and also personal. Justin is an extremely nice guy and it was a pleasure to have him in my house. I have no doubt that I would use this company again, and recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a good honest company to install heating and air-conditioning. What a pleasure to run into people who genuinely have great customer service... It seems so uncommon these days. P.S. I actually gave him extra money for the extra time that he put in. That is quite unlike me, as I am always looking for the best deal. LOL

The baby's room was lacking proper ventilation, the A/C in master bedroom is having a leakage issue and so I decided to change the HVAC system we currently operate. We called the company nearby our home to come in and provide us with an estimate. They came and did the estimation and told us we are required to make a deposit before they begin the job. Upon giving them the deposit for five days we did not receive any formal communication from this company to what is the estimation time of completion. Finally they showed up the other day and finished the job. Everything works now but it took much longer than originally anticipated.

Had a great experience using John Padilla Heating and Air to do a diagnostic ($89 which was the lowest of several companies that I called) and repair of an A/C unit. Justin was my technician and both times that he came out he was on time, very professional, and did a great job on the work. I would definitely use them again for any future work!

There are times when 5 Stars are simply not enough. This is one of those times.
Our nearly 10 yr old Noritz.tankless water heater began shutting off unpredictably in August 2013. Little did we know that we had been cursed with Error Codes 99 & 90 (too much heat generated). We had the unit cleaned and serviced by The Tankless Plumber. Also spent $1000 on revised plumbing guaranteed to fix things. The problem went away.... for a short time. A repeat cleaning was given but ultimately Mr Tankless left us with cold showers.
Visits by other plumbers resulted in various estimates for replacing the unit at a cost varying between $2,000 - $6,000.
COSTCO 's vendor gave the absurd high estimate after a telephone call - unbelievable.
As 2014 came to an end, we had had more than enough of quick showers that required lightening speed to clean the dirty parts before the shower water turned cold. I stopped worrying about wasting water (we're in a drought) because all my family took the shortest showers on record.
We chose Eli Jones of Essential Plumbing to make a final assessment before replacing the Noritz heater. We didn't have a spare $3,000 but at this point, we were ready to bite the bullet. (Routinely posting a family member by the Tankless in the garage to reset it - 3 to 8 times per shower user was exhausting). Eli was busy with other work and referred us to John Padilla Plumbing. Eli stated his concern for fixing our problem and kept himself as the principle plumbing company on our account.
Steve from Padilla Plumbing began a logical, thoughtful assessment of our system. He examined valve filters, flow rates, water temperature, exhaust tubes , beginning in December, 2014. Said that our unit was one of the cleanest he had seen; No accumulation of dust, corrosion. The unit worked significant better but still cut off with unpredictable but less frequency. Steve offered to bring in the local Noritz rep because the only conceivable repair was replacing the still-under-warranty heating element. This week Steve made a final visit because something about our unit bothered him.
The wire connecting the heater to temperature sensor had been cut and reconnected with some bare wire touching the Unit's inner casing. He remembered another unit that malfunctioned when this wire shorted or sparked under the same conditions. He respliced the wire appropriately. I began praying again to the Hot Water Gods....
Our problem has been resolved just 17 months and many cold-interrupted showers later. Just one month after Steve began assessing the problem. He was the only plumber - out of many who saw our unit - who had this insight and experience. His professionalism as that of Victor in the office- was outstanding. Not to mention that I didn't have to throw another $3 grand down the drain...
I'd give John Padilla Plumbing and Essential Plumbing 5,000 Stars if I could. Wouldn't use anyone else. Thank you my plumbing friends!!! This review was written from within the steaming friendly confines of a hot water bath.

John Padilla plumbing came to our house to fix a blocked sewer line on June 2nd 2014. 2 days later (June 4th), we had a MASSIVE sewage backup in our house. Today being July 24th, 2014, our family is still at a hotel, and will be till approximately August 7th 2014. The approximate cost when all is said and done with everything entailed, will be ( $92,000 ). I would not send my dog to this company, to have his ass cleaned. Save your property. Do not call John Padilla Plumbing.

Love Padilla Plumbing, Heating & Air! They were able to squeeze me in for a Air conditioning unit that stopped blowing cold air. Of course it was 95 degrees outside when it stopped working. They showed up when they said they would and diagnosed it, and another guy came back out to the house an hour later with the part and fixed it. My experience is when it is really hot out AC companies get really busy and can take a while to get a tech out there, the fact that they were able to get someone out to the house bright and early the next day and get it fixed really impressed me. I would definitely recommend this company!
My Property management had them come out for a clogged drain. They said it needed high pressure jet cleaning. Said ok. That same day they said the pipe collapsed. Said it would cost $8k to dig down for the first 5ft and replace it! OMG. I asked for a better price. They said $6k. I shopped around and another plumber priced it at $5k. Said ok. When he dug, the old cast iron pipe were full with dirt up to the sink! They were jetting to China. Beware if you have old cast iron pipes! He rerouted the drain 12 ft for another $600. Who know how much Jpp would have charged.

John Padilla Plumbing, Heating & Air recently replaced my A/C unit. I cannot say enough about how polite, respectful and efficient they were. From the person scheduling the visit, Victor, to the people installing the unit, Steve and Juan, to the owner himself. I highly recommend this company.
Call Someone Else
I spoke too soon on my first review below. The current 1 star review is based solely on their heating and air conditioning side of the business. Steve came out to inspect my furnace and a/c unit while I was in escrow to buy the house. He proclaimed them to be in good shape and only in need of some freon gas. He did not provide me a written report or I would have sued the company. My oversight in not getting it in writing. Based upon Steve's assessment I approved my inspection of the property and closed escrow. Here comes the reason for the 1 star rating. I had to call SDG& E to turn on the gas and light pilot lights after the house was tented for termites. The SDG&E employee determined in less than 2 minutes that the furnace was a safety risk and condemned it due to a cracked fire box. I now need to completely replace the furnace. If Padilla's had done a proper professional job I would have been able to have the seller replace the furnace before the close of escrow. Parting words of advise - (1) Always get it in writing, and (2) Don't call John Padilla's Plumbing, Heating and Air.
I have been using and recommending John Padilla Plumbing for years. I have always been very happy with their service and pricing and will continue to recommend them.

Padilla plumbing will quote you for work but will often find other work that needs to be done even if the plumbing is not broken. They will often offer to replace plumbing that is not broken and say how easily it could break down. Padilla offered to replace caulking on a bathtub for a bargain price of $135 dollars. 2 tubes of caulking and a caulking gun =$15 at home depot. There are better plumbers out there that won't recommend unnecessary repairs.

This is long overdue. We had an issue with our A/C, it wasn't cooling. I had some guy with white gloves come out the year before and charge a considerable amount of $$$ to recharge the A/C. 9 months later and the A/C wasn't cooling again. This time I contacted John Padilla Plumbing and Justin came out the next day. He was very professional and did a great job diagnosing the issue. Unlike the previous troubleshooting effort by another company, Justin was precise and not concerned with up-selling. The price was very fair and I was 100% satisfied with the job performed.
John Padilla, the owner just came by my house because we had a problem to check out the work from his worker yesterday. Females beware. Make sure to Google everything they say to make sure it is true.

The techs came to my complex and performed jetting on our main line and patios. They were very professional and got the job done. However, it would be great if all service people wore foot covers when they enter someone's home. It is the difference between great customer experience and outstanding customer experience. And a 4 or 5 star rating. In the competitive world so of service providers...standing out in sometimes the difference between being using for a one time service and a lifetime customer.

Alex, the plumber, who came to my apartment complex was wonderfully helpful and made all efforts to make the situation as manageable and efficient as possible. We had a plumbing leak underground due to some tree roots cracking the plumbing lines and causing a major leak at our new house. John Padilla Plumbing used some high tech devices to see through the plumbing lines and pinpoint where the crack was located. They were very prompt and reasonable with their pricing. They got the job done quickly and because of the equipment and technology, they only had to dig a small hole in the ground to make the repairs. Thanks guys!
We used John Padilla Plumbing twice: once when buying a condo for in-laws (they gave us a free estimate (which we used to bring the home price down) and when we purchased it they came to fix the issues) and another time to fix leaks in our two bathrooms. Second time around the plumber's truck broke and he used another one to come to our place, it did not have a correct tool to cut the rusted part out - the owner called me personally while the plumber was still here to apologize and to reschedule. They came back another day and fixed the problem. Things like that happen and I appreciated owner calling me to apologize, especially when the second leak was not the part of the scheduled call, we only asked for it to be fixed after the plumber was already here. The scheduling with them is super easy, plumbers are professional and polite and their prices are very reasonable.

I called on the weekend and a person answered, i was shocked. He told me it would be time-and-a-half for the weekend. Luckily I wasn't in a hurry and I got an appointment scheduled for Monday afternoon. My wife took of work to wait for the 3 - 5pm time window. Nobody showed up until 6:30. The plumber was rude and I could just tell he didn't want to be here. I told him what was wrong and didn't bother even listening to me. He switch the hot an cold valve and told me everything would need to be replaced. 10 minutes tops - $95.00. Told me it would an additional $550 to fix the problem. I wouldn't consider that a service call since I told him exactly what was wrong. Really Late, Really Rude, and a Real RIPOFF.
Easily found plumbers with decent numbers of reviews and stars. Most did not answer their phone calls but had answering machines or voice mail which I then hung up on. some had open dates out to a week and others charge for their estimates. I have a vacant rental that i'm losing money on everyday so I needed someone today. Talked to John who scheduled my appointment for the same morning. Alex called and came by within 2 hours to assess the entire project , he clearly gave me an itemized hourly estimate and quickly began working. I'm very satisfied with the response time, customer service, quality of work and price. Alex mentioned a few items I agree did need repair,the parts were priced well without the huge mark up.
NOTE:
I had absolutely NO upgrade sales, pressure or scare tactics to have any unnecessary work done.

it was a pleasure having thomas and david take care of our air conditioning maintenance needs yesterday..they arrive on the minute, resolved all of our issues professionally and promptly; they kept me informed of all aspects their work..i would recommend this company to anyone needing any air conditioning services.
Just had John Padilla Plumbing install our HVAC and we couldn't be happier and more satisfied. Justin, Javier, and Thomas, the gentlemen who were onsite and installed our systems, are true professionals who know their stuff. Very friendly and very conscientious, all three were incredible to with. As for the equipment and level of workmanship, all top notch and high marks across the board. Padilla Plumbing was also kind enough to upgrade, at no additional cost to us, our furnace fan to increase airflow throughout the house after Justin's recommendation to do so after the initial home appointment/estimate in combination with our home needs. John Padilla Plumbing came highly recommended from other contractors (a huge plus in our eyes) we are currently working with on other repairs/upgrades currently going on at our home and we can now confirm they have earned the recommendations. Thank you Justin, Javier, and Thomas for everything onsite and thank you to Johnnie for being very helpful over the phone with all of my questions...

forgot to update from awhile ago.
called john padilla plumbing to help us solve a leak mystery. he cut a hole in the wall, peered in, and said that the leak was coming from a neighbor's place. talked to neighbor. neighbor doesn't have anything with water near that area.
got another plumber. other plumber solved the mystery correctly and explained how we got the leak. he also fixed other things in our townhome while he was here.
not sure if that was a fluke experience...but that didn't leave us with a good aftertaste...glad our neighbor was not overly offended about being asked about the leak. but not cool to get a wrong diagnosis that wasn't cheap either. =P

Poor customer service, turned our water off without notice. I called and they told me they would figure out why and didn't call back. When I called back whoever I talked to said he dropped the notices personally. I live in a townhouse complex of 13 units asked the three neighbors I saw and none of them had received notice. So he either didn't do it or delivered to 9 of 13 units? As a contractor when you make a mistake own it and fix it instead they tried to cover it up by lying. Not a good way to run the business.

had a leaky toilet shut off valve. badly corroded. i could have done it myself . but i didn't want to possibly break a pipe. Alex from Padilla Plumbing came by, on time and very professional. he blasted the work out in no time. less than an hour. had him also change out a leaky shower valve stem.it was also corroded badly. he had all the parts on the truck. so no running to Home Depot. all said and done really quickly, cleaned up all the mess. Alex is a true professional, great guy.
John Padilla Plumbing is the best plumbing company in town! A friend of mine lost her watch and rings down a drain, we thought, so John sent his guys out to drain the sump pump first, and on a rainy night I might add! When the items were not there he sent out another gentleman in the morning and looked in the pipes with a camera and there it was 8 ft down! His workers are prompt, courteous and professional! I'm recommending them to everyone I know!
Our house had a leak from the upstairs into our downstairs bathroom ceiling. We had a home warranty in place and the company on file, CA Plumbing, came out and did NOTHING. They basically told my husband how to go into the ceiling and find the leak. A $55 service call later and nothing was fixed by CA Plumbing. My husband never found the leak, but patched the drywall and hoped it would clear up....sure enough a year and a half later, the leak was back, only worse now! We called John Padilla Plumbing and within 2 minutes of being at our house, the plumber not only knew where the leak was coming from, but he fixed it and the leak is gone! I was SO happy with everything. I called CA plumbing and let them know a real professional fixed our problem!
Javier came out so quickly to take care of our sink clogging. He was polite, jovial and very knowledgeable. Will call them in the future!!
