Pacific Beach Plumbing did a great job installing a recirculating hot water pump.  We chose and recommend the Hot Water D'MAND System and are happy.

Thank goodness for Velazquez Landscape and Construction! We basically had multiple sprinkler valves causing geysers in our yard due to softball pitching incident.  We broke one valve and a domino effect happened with no way for us to fix it ourselves. And of course this happened at night...

I called and left a message with Velazquez Landscape with 1 minute left to closing and I received a call back within 5 minutes. They are so awesome!! From great customer service to an awesome job, I am so lucky to have called them!! They fixed our system in the dark. What company would come after hours (after 830pm) and work in the dark to fix a valve system? They did!!

We will definitely be using them again for more services!

Excellent first experience with American Ally. I tried a DIY garden bib replacement today and ended up twisting the old bib off.

Knowing to cut my losses due to inexperience, I began calling plumbing companies knowing  a Friday afternoon appointment before a holiday weekend was a stretch to hope for.

A company I had used in the past was unavailable. Another company could schedule me for their next available the next Tuesday.... which was unacceptable for this adventure since the water to the whole house was off.

My third call went to American Ally, and from the start it was a good experience. The girl who answered the call was nice and helpful, and able to get me an appointment the same day within a couple hours.

A short time later received a call from the plumber, Aaron, who asked if he could arrive early, which given the situation was more than welcome.

Aaron arrived and got right to business and had everything repaired in a short time. And to make a long story slightly longer, the price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend,  and will call again for future  plumbing needs.

Mike has replaced my water heater, cleared drains, and worked on my 20 year old Kohler toilets.   He has always done excellent work and leaves the work area spotless.  He is timely and works efficiently.  Most reliable plumber around!

We had a leaky pipe issue and Brian repaired the leak and installed a new shower system. We also asked him to replace 3 bathroom faucets. Brian did an excellent job on everything and charged a very fair price. Would highly recommend Definitive Plumbing to friends and family.

Sohail Hossini and his partner knocked out a kitchen demo in a day and a half.  He moved the gas connector for my new stove coming in.  He'll be back in two weeks to do the tiling of the backsplash.  This is a no nonsense contractor who gives you a quote in writing, comes on time, does the work quickly, and we couldn't be more pleased.  Thank you

We had a pipe in the kitchen that had been severed and repaired with tape by a previous owner (unbeknownst to us).  The broken pipe was discovered after we replaced the sink.  We called AAA Plumbing yesterday morning and Steve said he'd arrive yesterday afternoon which he did.  

Steve was very honest, knowledgeable and helpful.  He fixed the severed pipe very quickly and efficiently.  We are very happy with his work!  We'd hire him again!!

I highly recommend Marshall and Clairemont Plumbing Service.  He has done several jobs for me, including several repairs dealing with leaking or corroded underground pipes that I couldn't have figured out in 100 years.  Very knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

I noticed that my water heater was leaking on a Friday night at 9:30 (of course). There was considerable rumbling and odd noises that I thought were probably an opossum. Unfortunately, it was the 40 gal tank starting to give way.

I started calling around. Going price was about $1200 to $1400. I watched the youtube videos to see if I wanted to do it myself as a water heater was about $500 retail. I checked Craigslist and saw the ad for pacifictankless (not that I wanted to go tankless). He was advertising a $785 flat rate install price.

I called A J Angelov and he said that he would be by in 20 minutes, but then pushed it back to 55 minutes. Fifty-three minutes later, A J appeared at the door. The extra half hour had been spent buying a water heater (a Rheem rather than the plumber standard Bradford & White) just in case he got the job. He did.

He installed the water heater, replaced the venting, added a new gas valve (ours was the old spring type), and had it up and running in less than 2 hours. There were no up charges or added sales items.

Consider him to be highly recommended.

Thank you Levi! We had our water heater flushed for the first time, which apparently is supposed to be done regularly (I had no idea!). Our initial appointment did not work out (they had some emergency jobs whereas ours was a non-emergency) so we had to reschedule. They kept us informed and Levi was able to come out sooner than expected. The call beforehand is nice so you have an idea about their ETA.
We really appreciated the tips Levi gave us and that he took the time to show us what he was doing, and why. We learned a lot about water heaters today! Thank you for the honest work you do Levi!

Joshua Plumbing and Drain Service saved the day on Saturday!  I met Joshua and his crew at a plumbing store on Saturday morning and asked if they worked in the Carmel Mountain area.  Most definitely was their answer and after explaining my AC/Plumbing nightmare Joshua said he could come by in between two appointments that morning!!  

They showed up right on time and got to work accessing the problem and had it fixed (and a few other small problems) just as promised!  They were courteous, put down plastic and cleaned up after the job was complete.  Joshua was very patient with me as I asked numerous questions, answering them all without making me feel dumb for asking.

Mauricio was great! He came on short noticed and was knowledgeable and worked to help us get our backyard plumbing issues resolved. He and his assistant wore masks and were very professional.

Richard took my initial call. Helped me problem solve an immediate problem, restoring power, and then walked me through the next few steps to getting a dedicated circuit. Instead of wasting my time (and money) doing an evaluation, he asked for photos of the situation so he could clearly see understand and make an estimation. When an earlier time slot opened up, he called me right away and asked if I wanted it.

Niall came the next day. Efficient and through! The job was completed beautifully.

Awesome experience from start to finish. We got quotes from couple of other companies but not only was Electric Lee very competitive and reasonable, dealing with Devren was a pleasure. He is very responsive and flexible. Our remodel took a while and there were several visits but each time his guys (Dave and Mario) showed up on time and were very professional and courteous.  Thanks guys. Highly recommended!

Bruce is amazing! He came out for a free quote and really made me feel at ease as he explained what needed to be done. I could definitely tell he cares about his work. His quote was more then fair, especially for the quality of work he did. I now have new pipes from the main to every fixture, a new water heater, and new pressure regulator. Everything is working great and the work was impeccable. I will be recommending Bruce with Robertson Plumbing to anyone I encounter looking for a great plumber!

Soooo- the story of a $10,000 rip-off: my mom has a rental house in Ramona, and the tenants call up with both toilets over flowing. I tell them to call a plumber, as this usually ends up being the fault of the person flushing.
Mr. Rooter comes out and pulls some small pieces of plant matter out with a sewer snake. They say theres something terribly wrong, and they send a tech with a camera out the next day. He runs the camera down the cleanout into the main septic line. I was unable to make it to view it myself, but the tenant was there.

The Mr. Rooter guy calls me and gives me his findings, he says the entire septic line is rusted and roughted out all the way back to the septic tank and 25-30 feet of pipe will need to be replaced. The major problem is that this 25-30 feet is all under the house and the slab will need to be jack hammered.

The guy says I have 2 options to solve this - they can jet the line for $1600, (high pressure water flush out), but this is only a temporary fix, and they would only warranty their work for 6 months.

The other option is jack hammer of course and replace the line, 10 year warranty, and this will only cost me $9,000. I ask for complete scope of work and what they do - the $9k only includes ripping up my floor, throwing in a new pipe, and thats about as far as it goes, I am responsible for refinishing the cement and floor, and all the cleanup, so another $3k or more being spent after they leave.

I tell the guy I will call him.

My dad was a general contractor, and I actually helped him build half this house 20 years ago, so I know a lot about construction, have all the tools - cement mixers, jack hammers, cement cutters etc., and I know all about the house. To boot, my mom nor I have $9k to dump down this pipe line.
I prep a crew of guys, and ask another plumber to come out and plot the pipe line for me with a camera. I was there when this plumber came out (Bob's Plumbing of Ramona - A+++ work). He hooked up his camera and probe equipment, and I am looking through the line only to find nothing wrong with it. Bob tells me Your septic line looks almost like new.

i asked Bob what he would charge me to jet the line if I were to need that, and he says $350 - great deal off from the $1600 Mr. Rooter wanted, and far less than the $9000 for the supposed replacement that it needed.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and Mr. Rooter was just trying to drum up some major work to line their pockets with.
