Pacific Beach Plumbing did a great job installing a recirculating hot water pump.  We chose and recommend the Hot Water D'MAND System and are happy.

Zero stars.

Scheduled an appointment over the phone. They did not show up for the appointment and did not call. Got a text three hours later saying that they didn't make the appointment (yeah, no kidding) and they could reschedule for two days later. No, I don't think so.

It was complete waste of our time and incredibly disrespectful. We would never do business with a company who has such flippant disrespect for a customer.

We will be taking our $$$ elswhere.

We had a clog that kept happening at our condo complex, another plumber had failed to explain the problem and suggested a costly repair.  I called Ray with American Roto for a second opinion he was very knowledgeable and willing to show us where the problem was.  He suggested a similar repair but was more affordable and willing to explain all the work involved and what to do next.

I attempted to fix a clogged drain in my bathroom sink and ended up pulling the pipe right out of the wall. I called several plumbers to help me. Kristian from Elite Rooter came over and told me it would be a huge job, it would take half the day. He said my bathroom wall would need to be cut open. The pipe would need to be completely replaced for $1,200. Then Mike from Regional Elite Plumbing checked it out and said he could repair the damage using a pipe fitting connector. Took him about 30 minutes and cost $150. My sink is working perfectly now. I am so grateful for his honesty and skills. I would highly recommend Regional Elite Plumbing to anyone in need of a highly qualified honest plumber.

Brian from Definitive Plumbing Solutions is a fantastic plumber who recently helped me with a couple of plumbing issues. He replaced my sink's p-trap and unclogged my shower drain with ease, making the entire experience stress-free and pleasant.

Two of the things that impressed me the most about Brian was his friendliness and professionalism. What a great service these guys provide. I needed emergency repair on our main water line that left us without water and Jerry arrived within 30 minutes of my call. He was professional, quick and most importantly fair priced. I'm sure there are companies that would have tried to over charge me being that I was in need of getting my water running immediately but Jerry was so helpful and only interested in getting the problem fixed asap for my family. Owen Plumbing installed a gas shut-off valve for us in the laundry room gas line. The plumber was prompt, professional, respectful, and did a quality job. We just moved into the area and will be calling on Owen Plumbing for our future plumbing needs!

Marshall was referred to me by a friend and I couldn't be happier with his service.  He was priced fairly, a super nice guy and, most importantly, extremely competent.  He got the job done right and quickly.  I'll only use him for my future plumbing needs!

This morning, AJ replaced the service valves on our Rinnai tankless water heater. We are very happy with the whole process.

Over the Labor Day weekend, I thought about flushing the Rinnai tankless water heater as Rinnai recommends. Our Rinnai is 12 years old, and we only knew we hadn't flushed it in the past 2 years. But I decided to give it a try. The result of my trying is the hot water valve became stuck at the OFF position and there was no hot water in the house.

Pacific Tankless is not the first plumbing company I called, but Pacific Tankless is the first plumbing company that I could reach a plumber. AJ answered my call, and realized immediately the problem I was calling him for, and asked for pictures to confirm. AJ gave me a quote and a time when he could come. I balked at the quote. It was only later that I realized that I balked at AJ's quote, because I hadn't been in need of calling for plumbing service before. AJ's quote is the least expensive of all the quotes I got.

Due to my inexperience in contracting plumbing service, when I later got around to try to book AJ to replace the service valves, the earliest available time is this morning. So, this morning it is.

AJ came at the appointment time, and as other reviewers also observed, is courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. And restored hot water in our house.

Before AJ left, we chatted about my initial decision to flush which led to this small crisis in our house. AJ shared his experience and views on flushing old tankless water heaters with no record of being flushed before. AJ also explained the workings of the cold water sandwich phenomenon which was the main contributing factor leading me to try the flush.

We are very happy to have contracted AJ to replace the tankless water heater service valves. Communication is accurate, to the point, and in reasonable time.

FINALLY an AC & heating business I can trust!!! Woo-Hoo!!!! If Sherlock Heating and Air Conditioning isn't a small family business, you would think they are! They are so kind, meticulous, honest, informative, trustworthy and the list goes on. PLUS, the wonderful Chelsea, that ALWAYS returns your calls promptly, remembers that we have a dog and always asks about her. We just did our 6 month heating check-up and the tech Eddie was wonderful. He answered all my cray questions about the equipment and when things need what! I can't say enough about how great they are. So hard to find a company you can trust that isn't always trying to add to your bill. THANK YOU!!

They were very fair with their pricing for a job moving a gas line in our garage for our stackable dryer.  I got estimates ranging from $250 to $450 (always get estimates!)   These guys showed up on time, did the work and stuck to the price that we agreed on.  

Also, they've moved to Spring Valley from San Carlos.

Exodus did a great job installing a diverter and replacing my shower faucet when it was leaking

We had no power in the kitchen all of a sudden, tripped a breaker but couldn't find the second breaker box. George called us and walked us through it. It was so nice of him to do that without charging us to come out. I appreciate that customer service SO much. We will use him if god forbid something big happens in the future :)

Electric Lee is a fantastic company who I love working with.  I manage homes in PB and not only are they quick to respond to my requests, they are quick to get the job done.  It makes my job much easier and I really appreciate having a trustworthy vendor to work with!

Bruce is amazing! He came out for a free quote and really made me feel at ease as he explained what needed to be done. I could definitely tell he cares about his work. His quote was more then fair, especially for the quality of work he did. I now have new pipes from the main to every fixture, a new water heater, and new pressure regulator. Everything is working great and the work was impeccable. I will be recommending Bruce with Robertson Plumbing to anyone I encounter looking for a great plumber!

We thought that our sewer line needed cleaning out due to the toilets randomly losing water. Jesus Arreola from Mr. Rooter showed up timely and checked out the situation. He determined that the problem was not the sewer line but rather an issue in the toilets themselves. He fixed the problem and gave us some helpful advice as well. I really appreciated Jesus' honest approach and he even helped save us money. I would definitely use Mr. Rooter in the future.
