I've used American Ally plumbing on 3 separate occasions. I just moved to my new house and had issues with the tankless water heater, upstairs toilet, and kitchen sink. Each time I called I got a quick appointment usually same day if not the next day. They were courteous, professional, and efficient. They explained to me in laymen's terms what the issues were and luckily for me the fees were reasonable.  They are my go to plumbers!

Mike has replaced my water heater, cleared drains, and worked on my 20 year old Kohler toilets.   He has always done excellent work and leaves the work area spotless.  He is timely and works efficiently.  Most reliable plumber around!

Sohail and his team did an amazing job! He transformed our master bath and we could not be more happy. They were thorough, communicative and have set a very high bar. We can't wait for them to complete our second bathroom!

Rafeal and his team really deserve an outstanding review. We had several issues in a century old North Park home. They came out quickly and diagnosed the separate problems then with a reasonable estimate got right to work replacing our main sewer line. They were thoughtful to communicate with the family and kids as not to disrupt too much of the day. They were very respectful of the home and finished the job right in the schedule they quoted.

I have been using Owen Plumbing for years. They try very hard to accommodate your schedule and will send the same technician out since they are familiar with your plumbing. The front office staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend Owen Plumbing.

I called Clairemont Plumbing for a clogged sink issue, they were at my home an hour later.  Marshall came out and recognized my home from the prior owner.  He was prompt and honest and reasonable  I will definitely use Clairemont Plumbing again.

One of our 2 water heaters started leaking and we didn't know who to call.  We went to Nextdoor Santa Luz and other sites-one name stood out-Pacific Tankless. We shopped for quality, service and price, and again one name stood out-Pacific Tankless.
AJ was professional, punctual and courteous. We are very happy that we chose Pacific Tankless.
I plan to replace our water purification system next. He provided me advice on models to explore and where to shop.  I have total faith in AJ and his company Pacific Tankless.  Great company to work with!

We went to Yelp and hired Sherlock to help with a drain clog. Kyle did such a good job that we hired him to do a bunch of stuff for us. It was a great value and they were right on time. I highly recommend. Kyle went over and beyond and I'm so satisfied with the service!

They were very fair with their pricing for a job moving a gas line in our garage for our stackable dryer.  I got estimates ranging from $250 to $450 (always get estimates!)   These guys showed up on time, did the work and stuck to the price that we agreed on.  

Also, they've moved to Spring Valley from San Carlos.

Excellent service, responded same-day to a clogged drain that I couldn't clear with a 25 ft snake. Mauricio tried snaking and couldn't get it either, came back the next day to hydrojet and got it within an hour. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely use again for any plumbing needs. Competitive prices and overall great company.

My opinion of a service provider goes up exponentially when they DON'T sell you services you don't need but still take the time to explain why.

Any idiot can pass you off. Any idiot can charge you a callout fee for something you don't really need. It takes class to walk a would be customer through how they can save money elsewhere.

My house lights kept dimming. I called for an appointment, having made sure I had  grand or two set aside for whatever was found.

Instead, I had a clear explanation of how SDG&E could likely fix it for free. But, so my time wouldn't be wasted if they couldn't, a callout appointment was set up anyway that I could just cancel if they fixed things.

SDG&E managed to track down the issue and re wired me back to the street. Premo, when I called to cancel, remembered me and took time to ask about what SDG&E did even though it wasn't going to lead to more business.

You don't get better service than that. I intend to be in SD for many years to come and they've got a customer out of me whenever I need anything.

I found our new go-to electrician.  Devren and his team were fantastic.  They were polite, competent, neat and fairly priced.   They installed several new things for me:  new under cabinet lighting, smoke detector, light switch, recessed light with dimmer switch.  They also had to feed new wire through the wall and did a great job of cutting as few holes as possible and leaving the wall in good condition. I'm sure they would be good for any electrical need.  When you have people in your home it is always better if they are pleasant and easy to work with.  They were and I can be quite picky.  They measured to ensure proper alignment of things.  They were also able to work with a poorly designed light fixture, I ordered from Amazon, and make it work.

Would definitely call them again and refer them to friends.

I think Bruce is trying to do a good job, but this service was a nightmare. I'm giving two stars (rather than 1) because there seemed to be some health issues happening that *may* have contributed to things going so poorly.

We got a bid to replace the the shower drain for a shower remodel. After three weeks, many delays the job is complete but not to the specs outlined at the start of the project. Several items listed in the contract were not completed

The only reason we didn't cancel with him was that we foolishly gave a large deposit and felt we'd just lose the money if we changed plumbers.

We are not confident our drain will function properly in the long term due to the way things played out, but our budget is all spent. This is a frustrating situation.

Overall, there was a lot of talk with Bruce and very little action. He'd call and update us on his many life challenges that were causing delay after delay... but the total time invested into actually working on the plumbing was very little.

He seems like a nice guy and expresses his intention to keep things on budget, but the execution was not there.

Mr. Rooter is doing it right!  Rob was awesome!  He took the time to educate me on the reasons for repairs/replacements needed on my project and listened to my concerns/answered all my questions.  The work was performed as discussed, no hassles, super convenient to my schedule, and provided at a very decent price (no inflated costs for weekend work, either).  Rob is clearly a seasoned professional.  His work was impeccable and he was good-humored throughout the job.  I was impressed with how fast Mr. Rooter responded to my call and was surprised at how expediently the work was completed.  The warranty on work is amazing yet I doubt it will be needed at my house; the new plumbing is gorgeous!  I really appreciated the little extras that Rob was able to do while he was here; it was heart-warming to see the care and respect he gave to my home. Each day, the work area was cleaned and at no point was I left overnight without running water and a flush facility.  I'm so happy with the outcome of my plumbing project and will continue to provide glowing recommendations to anyone looking for an honest plumbing company.  Thank you, Mr. Rooter!
