Maria and Sauro are amazing to work with to make our backyard dreams become reality... in 4 weeks! We were so impressed with the quality of the work, the professionalism of their team, and their fast communication if I had any questions. I always felt confident in the process.. they know what they are doing. The retaining wall they put in spanned nearly 50 feet and was quite an engineering process to watch come alive! We gained nearly 40% more usable backyard with the work they did on our sloped yard! It's now a great place for us to relax, have a bbq, and safely let our daughter play... before this remodel, it was completely unusable because of the shotty work done by the previous owners.

We had a clog that kept happening at our condo complex, another plumber had failed to explain the problem and suggested a costly repair.  I called Ray with American Roto for a second opinion he was very knowledgeable and willing to show us where the problem was.  He suggested a similar repair but was more affordable and willing to explain all the work involved and what to do next.

I attempted to fix a clogged drain in my bathroom sink and ended up pulling the pipe right out of the wall. I called several plumbers to help me. Kristian from Elite Rooter came over and told me it would be a huge job, it would take half the day. He said my bathroom wall would need to be cut open. The pipe would need to be completely replaced for $1,200. Then Mike from Regional Elite Plumbing checked it out and said he could repair the damage using a pipe fitting connector. Took him about 30 minutes and cost $150. My sink is working perfectly now. I am so grateful for his honesty and skills. I would highly recommend Regional Elite Plumbing to anyone in need of a highly qualified honest plumber.

Definitive Plumbing was a definitive let down for us. After waiting for his arrival during two promised time slots, he never showed up, never responded to text messages, never called to explain why, and didn't pick up my phone calls OR return my messages after both windows had expired. We waited around for him all day and he was a no-show. Exactly what you don't want when dealing with an urgent plumbing issue. I would not recommend reaching out to them.

Sohail Hossini and his partner knocked out a kitchen demo in a day and a half.  He moved the gas connector for my new stove coming in.  He'll be back in two weeks to do the tiling of the backsplash.  This is a no nonsense contractor who gives you a quote in writing, comes on time, does the work quickly, and we couldn't be more pleased.  Thank you

Rafael did a great job on my outdoor shower plumbing job. He was on time and checked the work when it was completed to make sure it was up to scratch and came over same day when I called about a few other issues

Jerry and his partner Edgar were awesome. Great service at a great value. Jerry explained every step of what was happening with the plumbing lines and showed me what he was seeing in my pipes on his camera. Very quick, efficient, and professional. I called Clairemont Plumbing Service to replace some angle stops and replace a sink faucet. Marshall was on time, the MOST reasonable priced plumber in Pacific Beach. He had everything he needed in the truck. He cleaned up everything under both sinks. This is the first time I used Marshall but if I ever have a plumbing problem, he will be the first I would call. I thanked him, he said, My work here is done, as he rode off into the sunset.

AJ installed my tankless system and so far, I'm extremely happy. He quoted me a fair price, was communicative, professional, and honest. The system is working great, takes up just a tiny little portion of my garage, and delivers nice hot water. AJ did a great job with the piping and venting. He also helped me to get a temporary tank set up while I dealt with an insurance claim. I would highly recommend his services.

We've been unsuccessfully trying to get a detailed breakdown (parts and labor) for our A/C repair invoice of $359.24. There is no cost breakdown in the invoice, only the single amount of $359.24. We've messaged them through their contact page, emailed, and called. No response except for the switchboard operator telling us that he didn't think it was their policy to provide that information, but would forward our request to a supervisor.
Our A/C stopped working on one of the hottest days of the summer. After an internet search, we called Sherlock based on their reviews. A technician came out five days later - I guess the heat filled their schedule.  He inspected the A/C and told us we needed a new capacitor. He had the part with him and repaired the A/C. The air conditioner was working again. The total time he spent at our house was less than an hour.
The technician said he charged us half price for the capacitor kit - which was $80 retail online, which could mean that labor was over $300 per hour.
The technician was professional, explained the repair, and gave us an accurate estimate for the cost, which we agreed to in the heat of the moment.

Joshua & Joshua came to fix my sink after I had unsuccessfully tried to operate on it with Drano & a plunger. It turned out that the clog was waaaaay deeper than I anticipated. The Joshuas were very kind and answered all of my questions. They had to bring out some serious tools to fix the mess we'd made. After everything was good, the bill was super reasonable considering the time and effort they put into my sink! I would highly recommend these guys. They are awesome, will work late, and have a 30 day warranty for their services. :)

I requested a quote here on Yelp to install a gas line in the back yard and they were very quick to reply. They wanted a in-person consult to assess the scope of the job, and they had an expert here within 2 hours.
Rodger was friendly and professional. Asked questions about where I'd want the line to go, and came up with work-around plans in case any snags were encountered while laying the pipe.
He gave me the quote and I mentioned I was still waiting for one other company to reply with their estimate. The second quote came back a little bit less, but by that point I'd pretty much decided I wanted Exodus to do the job.  When contacted, Exodus said they'd be able to match the other quote, which was great.
Rodger was back the very next day, right on time. Got the job done quickly and without a hitch. Would definitely refer them to a friend (or stranger!).

My husband and I just purchased our first home and the house needed some lights in the living room, an updated ceiling fan in the dining room, and updated lights in the kitchen. Saw amazing reviews on Yelp on Premo Electric and decided to give them shot. Let me say that they were all fantastic. George emailed me within 10 mins from my inquiry, then Richard called several minutes after my reply. The team they sent out to do the work, Niall and Peter were friendly, through, and professional. I own a 14 unit apartment complex and had a major electrical issue. Electric Lee came to assess the problem (in the pouring rain) and had his team come the next day to fix it. They were all so knowledgeable and wonderful. I will be using them for all electrical issues in the future.

I think Bruce is trying to do a good job, but this service was a nightmare. I'm giving two stars (rather than 1) because there seemed to be some health issues happening that *may* have contributed to things going so poorly.

We got a bid to replace the the shower drain for a shower remodel. After three weeks, many delays the job is complete but not to the specs outlined at the start of the project. Several items listed in the contract were not completed

The only reason we didn't cancel with him was that we foolishly gave a large deposit and felt we'd just lose the money if we changed plumbers.

We are not confident our drain will function properly in the long term due to the way things played out, but our budget is all spent. This is a frustrating situation.

Overall, there was a lot of talk with Bruce and very little action. He'd call and update us on his many life challenges that were causing delay after delay... but the total time invested into actually working on the plumbing was very little.

He seems like a nice guy and expresses his intention to keep things on budget, but the execution was not there.

Mr. Rooter's employee Jesus Arreola was totally focused on getting the job done. He was extremely knowledgeable about tankless water heaters, and all of the codes and rules regarding their installation. He even went beyond the call of duty in a few instances, generously fixing some things that would normally be the owner's responsibility. His install was clean and straight, and is something we will be proud to show off for many years to come. Great guy, who was generous with his knowledge. I learned a lot just watching him work.
