I called Regional Elite Plumbing to have some gas line work done.  My call went to their voice mail and I left a message describing what I was calling about along with my call back information.  They have never called me back.  I am rating this business one star because it's poor customer service, rude and caused a delay in my work.  You may not agree but I think it tells a lot about a company

My water heater finally died after 20 years of great service.

Was interested in a tankless water heater wanted to save some space and put it in the attic above the garage area.

Ended getting a few quotes and almost had a heart attack.

Gave one last shot and had  Brian come out and ended up pleasantly surprised he came in at a fraction of the cost and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Sohail Hossini and his partner knocked out a kitchen demo in a day and a half.  He moved the gas connector for my new stove coming in.  He'll be back in two weeks to do the tiling of the backsplash.  This is a no nonsense contractor who gives you a quote in writing, comes on time, does the work quickly, and we couldn't be more pleased.  Thank you

I don't like giving poor reviews but I appreciate when others take the time to tell about their experiences in a truthful manner.  I had a clogged kitchen sink drain, which was also leaking from underneath.  I called Lefty's and spoke with Rafael.  He quoted me for the fix and offered to bring the replacement part (although I told him I could pick it up at Home Depot).  When he got there, he proceeded to make the repair and snake the drain via the clean-out.  After much snaking, I advised him that the repair he had done was still leaking under the sink.  He first told me he would not be able to unclog the sink and that I needed a $250 hydro-jet service (plus that I might have a collapsed drain pipe).   He then came in and said all my piping under the sink would need to be replaced at an additional $185.  I said I would think about it.  He then charged me for the initial repair plus the part plus and an extra $25 for picking it up at Home Depot (which he needed to have advised me on when I offer to pick it up myself).  The next day I had a different plumber come take a look at my clogged, and still leaking, sink.  He said all that needed replacement were the two pieces that attach to the sink assembly and not the entire contraption that services both sinks.  That repair cost me $50 (Rafael was going to charge me $185).  Plus the drain assembly Rafael replaced was not tight and some of the leaking was coming from that.  The second plumber then proceeded to snake my drain via the same clean-out and within minutes, the clog was gone.  I ran water for 5 whole minutes to ensure I had no clog - no clog, it was cleared much to my relief.

The second plumber cost me $109 for the repair and to have the drain cleared.  I saved $326.00 by not going with Lefty's, for stuff I did not need!!!  Shame on you Rafael.

I didn't know that there were some tree roots in the drain, from our home into the sewer, causing water to back up, and exit at a clean-out in the driveway. We needed this problem resolved as quickly as possible because of the health/ safety risk involved.

I contacted Jerry at Dr Rooter & Plumbing, among a number of other plumbers and drain specialists. Jerry quickly assessed the situation (correctly, it turns out) based on my observations and description. It didn't matter to him that I live north county and he works primarily in south county San Diego. He contacted another customer with a non-emergency appointment, who agreed to push that work to the next day. He had staff member Johnny on his way to San Marcos even before he had my address. Johnny was friendly, courteous and professional, as was Jerry who soon joined us. They made short work of the problem, locating the blockage and removing it. I could see the tree roots on their scope.

This experience really made my day: a) because our water was flowing normally, and b) because I had been looking for a plumber with whom I felt comfortable and could trust. Dr Rooter & Plumbing get the highest recommendation from me; no question about it. Thanks Jerry and Johnny!!

This is a company you must add to your contact list for the day you need a plumber.  This is a family owned business that's all about honesty, integrity, and quality work.  There's no commission based up selling here.  You are charged hourly and for the parts, not by the job.  No job is too small or too big for these guys.  They'll snake a drain or they'll re-pipe a house.  

Whenever I call I ask for David who is usually sent with his brother Jorge.  In my condo they've replaced valves, faucets, toilets, bathtub spouts, shower valve cartridges, and sink drains.  I had to get it ready for a tenant.  At my dad's house when I needed to sell it I had the water heater re-strapped.  At my new house I had a water line added for my fridge, leaky drain pipes replaced, and an issue with the tub fixed.  Prices are not only fair but better than the competition.  Read Bob T's story.

The one time I called another plumbing company last year due to Owen's being booked they did such a shitty job I was already having issues with it which I had to have fixed before the new tenant moved in.

Gotta say AJ Anguelov of Pacific Tankless is on point, and of course a kind man too. He did a great job replacing my leaking, failing water heater. The price was right, he provided good answers to all my questions when searching for a company to do the work, and most of all the quality of workmanship is spot on. I really can't say enough about how great it is when someone does good work, it looks sharp, and the work area and unit installed is clean. Really good, clean, sharp results.  Oh, and he was super great about fitting me in as soon as possible; remember, i was under pressure due to significant water leaking from the bottom of my old water heater. Seriously...no complaints at all. Thanks AJ!

The day we discovered that the A/C lin within our condo walls and ceiling had an un-repairable leak was not a good day.  Replacing the line appeared to be and in fact turned out to be a major effort. My wife checked on line and found Sherlock Heating and Air Conditioning had strong recommendations from previous customers so we arranged a meeting for a bid.

Jeff was our contact.  His background as a project manager with Sherlock proved to be benefit in analyzing how the repair would be handled.  We received a bid we felt was reasonable for the work and actually had the work done 3 days ahead of schedule because of an opening in their schedule.  

Our work team of Scott and Reuben  arrived and immediately got to work.  Replacing the line actually took two days of difficult and challenging work on their part.  The work area was properly covered in plastic to protect our condo from a good deal of dust and debris and the clean up and dry wall repair was excellent.

We can recommend Sherlock's work very highly. The effort required to run the line within the walls and ceiling of our condo was far more intense than we even imagined, and they tackled the job with a can-do attitude. Thumbs up for the team at Sherlock Heating and Air Conditioning!

Joshua Plumbing and Drain Service saved the day on Saturday!  I met Joshua and his crew at a plumbing store on Saturday morning and asked if they worked in the Carmel Mountain area.  Most definitely was their answer and after explaining my AC/Plumbing nightmare Joshua said he could come by in between two appointments that morning!!  

They showed up right on time and got to work accessing the problem and had it fixed (and a few other small problems) just as promised!  They were courteous, put down plastic and cleaned up after the job was complete.  Joshua was very patient with me as I asked numerous questions, answering them all without making me feel dumb for asking.  

Thank you Joshua for coming to my rescue!  I highly recommend Joshua and his crew for all your plumbing needs!

Needed to have the diverter stem on my bath/shower replaced and they were available on short notice. The entire appointment took less than 30 minutes and the two technicians that arrived were friendly and professional.

Absolutely going to call George again in case anything else malfunctions in my house.  Unfortunately our fridge lost power unexpectedly and my husband (Electrical Engineer) could not figure out what went wrong.  Most of the time we call  a family friend to fix what's wrong in the house but couldn't get a hold of him.  I randomly logged into yelp and saw a recently posted review on Premo Electric.

I'm so thankful for running across someone else's review because they certainly helped me out. (Thanks Jose G) Having a fridge plugged into an outlet that isn't meant for it is not ideal.

George is certainly extremely efficient and a very professional electrician.  Price was reasonable and affordable for the work he did.

After introductions he was right into work mode and was able to get to the root of the problem in no time.  Not only did he fix what was broken but George even explained to me what was the cause of the error.  

I am very pleased at how everything turned out and he will be our GO-TO ELECTRICIAN for this household from this day onward.

I can't say enough good things about this company and Thorin. When I first contacted them, they responded within minutes, setting up an appointment for the following day. They were honest and efficient and went the extra mile to make sure that I had a solution as quickly as possible.  The day of the service I had a strict time constraint as the house was scheduled for fumigation and tenant move-in immediately after the tent removal.  Thorin was very punctual and had the issue diagnosed and fixed within a few minutes.  I love this company! I would defiantly hire them again.

I think Bruce is trying to do a good job, but this service was a nightmare. I'm giving two stars (rather than 1) because there seemed to be some health issues happening that *may* have contributed to things going so poorly.

We got a bid to replace the the shower drain for a shower remodel. After three weeks, many delays the job is complete but not to the specs outlined at the start of the project. Several items listed in the contract were not completed

The only reason we didn't cancel with him was that we foolishly gave a large deposit and felt we'd just lose the money if we changed plumbers.

We are not confident our drain will function properly in the long term due to the way things played out, but our budget is all spent. This is a frustrating situation.

Overall, there was a lot of talk with Bruce and very little action. He'd call and update us on his many life challenges that were causing delay after delay... but the total time invested into actually working on the plumbing was very little.

He seems like a nice guy and expresses his intention to keep things on budget, but the execution was not there.

I used them a while back with a coupon for $89. When I called this time, Erica, on the phone, said they could not give me a price yet until they saw the job.  That should have been my wake up call.  The technician did come on time and was courteous.  Then he quoted me $240 to snake a bathroom drain!    I told him NO WAY, and good bye.  A total rip-off.
