Connected with Brian via Text Messaging.  I found it handy.  From the reviews, it gave clues that he's very busy so he may not respond immediately.  I had great experience communicating with him.  My toilet needed some attention because the stop valve got stuck.  Brian kept in touch and arrived as he targeted / planned.  He confirmed the angle stop valve  needed to be replaced.  The fill valve also needed to be replaced because it was just too old and it had a slow leak.  Thanks to Yelp for verifying his license is current.  Brian is down to earth and easy to work with. He also verified that the flapper had to be specially ordered.  He explained the details after he looked at the flapper in detail. It's the manufacturer's intended design (yikes).  He gave me warning that after shutting off the main, the other faucets upstairs may expel some air.  It will be temporary.  He also showed me the main shut off valve from inside the garage and also out in the front yard.  He asked me to call him if there are any issues due to his work.  Encouraged me to check the area he worked for the next few days, just in case. But he's confident it will all be good.  Definitely will call him again for help next time I have plumbing problems.

Sohail and his team did an amazing job! He transformed our master bath and we could not be more happy. They were thorough, communicative and have set a very high bar. We can't wait for them to complete our second bathroom!

We had a stopped up kitchen sink and a drain leak that was not actively leaking, because we weren't using that sink. When you have a large older home, you always have plumbing problems.  I asked Marshall to come over and fix two toilets.  One had a broken seal on the bottom.  The other just never shut off after you flushed it.  Because of the virus, Marshall is quite busy.  Two days later and my toilets were fixed.  My total repair bill was less than $100 all parts and labor included.  It's nice to have a good old-fashioned plumber on call when you need it.

called the owner Al  to make him aware that when they replaced my water heater that the valve should of been replaced as well. Had to call SDGE  cause i smelled gas. they came and there was a severe gas leak. called the office never got a return call back after several calls. to get my money that i had to pay sdge to replace the valve that should of been replaced. I then was fed up and left a voice message that i was going to report this to my Home warranty that sent them. well after i left that message who calls back the owner Al telling lies that  the valve it was not damaged when they came , but i didn't have a gas leak or smell gas until his horrible company came and did work at my home. then he even fixed his lips to say i will send you a gift card for him not calling back and  paying me back the money i had to pay sdge. Well i did call and explained to my home insurance company and they will not be using them. this could of been tragic to my home and family with the cars in the garage.

I recently lost cooling in one of my AC units and asked Sherlock Inc to send a technician out to diagnose the problem. They were extremely professional from the first phone call to every communication including the reminders that they would be sending a tech out to take a look at my system. Nick Colantuono was our comfort technician and he diagnosed the problem quickly and correctly. He was knowledgeable, professional, honest and very patient with all of my questions. I would absolutely recommend Sherlock, Inc and Nick and will use them again in the future.

They were very fair with their pricing for a job moving a gas line in our garage for our stackable dryer.  I got estimates ranging from $250 to $450 (always get estimates!)   These guys showed up on time, did the work and stuck to the price that we agreed on.  

Also, they've moved to Spring Valley from San Carlos.

Both our shower and tub drains were clogged. Emilio and Chester came over and got both of them clear and working great in just minutes.

It was quick and easy to schedule the fix, and they even came early (after asking if I would be available).

Highly recommend and will use them again.

I think Bruce is trying to do a good job, but this service was a nightmare. I'm giving two stars (rather than 1) because there seemed to be some health issues happening that *may* have contributed to things going so poorly.

We got a bid to replace the the shower drain for a shower remodel. After three weeks, many delays the job is complete but not to the specs outlined at the start of the project. Several items listed in the contract were not completed

The only reason we didn't cancel with him was that we foolishly gave a large deposit and felt we'd just lose the money if we changed plumbers.

We are not confident our drain will function properly in the long term due to the way things played out, but our budget is all spent. This is a frustrating situation.

Overall, there was a lot of talk with Bruce and very little action. He'd call and update us on his many life challenges that were causing delay after delay... but the total time invested into actually working on the plumbing was very little.

He seems like a nice guy and expresses his intention to keep things on budget, but the execution was not there.

The dispatcher takes your name, number and address and who knows what happens after that. No one got back to me. This was a few months ago. All I wanted was a quote. But hey, as long as odd, thieving folk don't show up at my door, I guess??? At this point, I don't want a call back but that's just shady business if you ask me.
