Had a blown circuit and needed an electrician. Didn't know who to call so i tried SD Electric. Spoke with Leo and was upfront with their serviceand he was clear on everything and gave me a quote. No time at all he sent Nars and he was quick efficient with the work. I'm glad I contacted these guys coz it was easy to deal with and gave me no running around with the service I needed and their price is reasonable. Thank you and will definitely look you up again in the future.

We needed some electrical work done on the fly and happened to come across OB electrician. David responded to our call right away and was able to come the same day. He was very professional and did excellent work all for a reasonable price.
We have since used him one other time and were equally impressed. He will definitely be our go to for all electrical needs!

I recently purchased a hot tub and reached out to several electricians for bids. Ian came out and suggested a routing from the circuit breaker through the garage that would be much less visible than around half of the exterior of the house that other places had said they'd do. They had all the right parts for the job even though there are supply shortages of my brand of circuit breaker. Ian and Austin did the install and did a nice job. They showed up a little early and completed it the same day. They put the GFCI box in less conspicuous location I requested yet still according to code (visible from the hot tub). I was thrilled to be using my new hot tub the same day it was delivered. Been working great ever since. Electrical Insight also had the best price by far and Imelda was prompt with communication. Highly recommend!

Very disappointing. Initially, Chris is a nice guy came out to our house and did a bunch of lighting work at a very fair price. Unfortunately, when we tried to reach him to come out to finish one of the projects he had started he was impossible to reach. My wife tried to contact him repeatedly and he refused to communicate. Then I attempted, he responded one time said he would come out but then never did and never got back to me and totally ignored my follow up calls and texts.  So he does do good work at a fair price but very flakey and you will be lucky if he ever comes back to your house to finish the job.

I had Roper Electric come out to my place a while ago for a small project I'd rather leave to the pros, and figured I'd do my due diligence and comment on my experience with these guys (sorry about the late review, Matt). Will someone please explain to me the level of discrimination against ceiling fans here in the San Diego area? Almost everywhere I have lived in San Diego, ceiling fans and overhead lighting seem to be a luxury. For a place with such wonderful weather and the amount of homes that don't come with a/c, you'd think a ceiling fan would be standard. Absolutely not. Not in San Diego, Mission Valley, East County, or North County! I installed the majority of the ceiling fans in my new home and contacted Matt to handle the one with the vaulted ceiling, and he did a phenomenal job. He was punctual and professional, which sets him apart from the competition. I will be calling him again for a few other projects in the near future for sure

Purchased a Tesla Model Y 2023 and found JP Electrics to install the NEMA 14-50 outlet for the mobile charger which works great. I spoke with many electricians about installing a level two electric vehicle charger in my garage.  Dave was the most knowledgeable on the subject having installed many other electric vehicle chargers.  

He promotly responded to my calls and emails, even after hours.  At my request he saved us both time by giving me a ball park quote after I emailed him some pictures and a description.  The price was reasonable and am pleased with the look of the installation.  He offered to sweep the garage and left no mess.

Super satisfied.  Dave responded right away.  He came out the same day to diagnose and fix the problem.  He didn't want to accept any payment until we confirmed that everything was working OK for several days.  Great guy.  Great service.  Highly recommend.

Chris helped us with some small house projects. He answered all my questions quickly and provided professional quotes for each job. He came to our house on the scheduled day and arrived on time. Chris's work product was great. It is hard to find a good handyman and I will definitely use Chris for future projects.

David has been to my house four times and does amazing work he's got a lot of personality very likable very reasonable and knows everything about electrical he clean up a lot of work that a contractor that I had here that didn't know as you know what but David is exceptional brilliant and I save me a lot of anguish and problems that were left behind I will do nothing but recommend this guy and he will always be my electrician as well I wish you the best whatever work you're doing with electrical and hope you use David also note that Chris is his partner not to be confused
