Worst Plumber I Ever Met

First of all, the plumber arrived with a surly attitude and was filthy . He was to install a new Moen valve cartridge in a shower. This should have been a simple procedure. CSR was also to install three new cartridges in the tub/shower in my other bathroom (hot, cold and shower diverter).

CSR installed the first cartridge and then went to work on the tub/shower. After 45-60 minutes the plumber said his cartridges wouldn't fit and unless I wanted him to install a $650+ conversion kit, he would just put everything back together. I told him to put it back. He then informed me that he broke the handle on the shower diverter. When everything was back together, minus the broken handle, the shower leaked and wouldn't operate properly. My tenant had to use a pair of vice grips to take a shower.

At this point I had enough. I paid for the service on the first install and sent him away. The next day my tenant called and said the shower handle with the new cartridge CSR installed didn't operate properly. I called another plumbing company to address both problems. They did an outstanding job. A world of difference in professionalism from CSR.  I will never use CSR again and I highly recommend you avoid them. Unfortunately, with Yelp showing them at 5 stars, I question the credibility of Yelp.

In the past years I have been thru a couple of other plumbing companies with great reviews. They also did the job but at a very very high price.

My hint to you: stay away from anyone charging more than $300 to replace a shower valve cartridge ;)

I've used core plumbing for many jobs over the years.  They are always responsive, experienced, professional, honest and clean.  Water heater busted today and they were out to my house within 2 hours. Completed the job ,explained it the new heater and left the house very clean. I will definitely go back to core with my next plumbing need.

Realized the AC had stopped working on Sunday afternoon.  Called American Ace 1st, they answered immediately & said 1st availability would be Tues. which was not surprising considering that we've been experiencing record high temps, lately.  Called two other companies which also listed open business hours on Sunday.  No answer, no call back from either. Booked the Tues. appointment with American Ace/Fred.  He called on Monday to say he could come over, but we weren't available to be home.  Today (Tues.), he arrived at the very beginning of the two hour window, quickly assessed the fixed the issue (bad dual run capacitor), instucted me on maintenance & money saving tips, all within about 25 minutes!  Courteous, fast, reasonable prices.  Highly recommend!

We were very pleased with the work performed by Premier Plumbing. The company was very accommodating in scheduling the appointment. The work had to be rescheduled three times because the city was paving our street. Ivan, the plumber, was courteous and friendly. He explained in detail the work to be done and what was done. He left the bathroom spotless after the work was completed. We would not hesitate to call Premier Plumbing in the future.

Prompt response to my service inquiry from the owner Eric. Was up front about his schedule availability, but gave his assessment of my issue and a recommendation of another plumbing company he endorsed to do good honest work. I'll submit a follow up as to how that went, but sincerely appreciate his effort to take the extra step to find me immediate help. Thanks Eric!

José from Diaccount Plumbers came out immediately despite fact that the call was not urgent. He was kind and patient with me as I tried to explain our problem. He diagnosed the defect within 15 min. and explained the procedure to repair in vocabulary I could understand. the house is a 1912 With ancient plumbing. He was finished in an hour leaving with 1 month guarantee. I was overjoyed . My recommendations are without reservation.
This is the second time he has helped us. We are delighted that he represents a family owned business and that he is a veteran.
We will not hesitate to call him in the future when when we need a plumber.

I own a rental property in Northpark, but I live in the northern part of San Diego County. I needed a plumber to replace the kitchen faucet in my rental property. Daniel was amazing! He went to Home Depot and picked up a faucet I had ordered and installed the faucet the very next day. He was so easy to communicate with and such a nice guy. I highly ecommend him! It's so nice to find a reliable plumber who does good work. I will definitely use him again!

We recently used Eastlake Plumbing to address some plumbing issues with our new home. They were courteous and got the job done correctly.

Where they shined was when we discovered a gas leak in a separate area of the house. We called SDG&E to investigate and determined the issue with the pipe. SDG&E shut off the gas, but instead of tagging it and just leaving it off, Eastlake Plumbing stepped in to re-arrange their schedule and take care of the job ASAP.

Kelley was fantastic. Came in, went right to work, and finished all of my projects in record time. Got it right the first time, and left no mess. I would hire her again in a second.

We used these guys initially to replace a hot water heater.  Very responsive and fair in price.  They also helped up with a master bathroom that leaked and set us up with American Response Team and helped navigate our insurance claim.  They came the day it happened and eased our minds in the beginning.  The project took a long time to complete but that was due to the bathtub being on back order, not their fault.

The only negative is there were two errors at the end of one project that needed to be corrected and communication fell apart around this.  We are not sure if they were busy and overwhelmed with other projects but Omar never called or emailed or texted us when we asked for a resolution around this.  One example, Miguel replaced a faucet handle in our second bathroom but installed it backwards so that the hot/cold was reversed.  When we asked him to fix this, he first said, it was already like that (it wasn't) and then responded with a bid for us to pay them $350 to fix it rather than offering to correct his mistake.  Had they corrected it, we would have gladly kept working with them on all other projects at their asking price moving forward.  We would have even paid their bid for the second error as that was more of a communication issue rather than a direct mistake on their part.  At this point, we had already employed them to replace a toilet, fix our kitchen sink drain, replace a hot water heater, replace our master bathtub so asking them to fix one small mistake they made seemed fair.  

One other thing we will point out, we had told them before the master bathroom project started that we would be willing to pay extra and upgrade (for example, better faucets or a better tub), but they never gave us any options around this.  They simply picked everything out themselves and installed it.  In hindsight, this would have been really nice to be able to upgrade and it would have prevented some of the communication/disappointment issues at the end.    If they read this, we would recommend that they ask clients to verify handles/faucets, etc before they install or ask clients to go pick it up themselves.  

Because of the communication hiccups at the end, we have gone with another contractor to replace a second bathroom and replace all the fixtures hence the four stars rather than five.  Would we recommend them?  Sure, just be sure to double check everything they pick out before they install it because once installed, there is no going back.  Communication is key.

Simply the nicest, most conscientious, and professional plumbing team out there. Came out today to replace my fountain pump.  They communicate, they're on it, and they get the job done.  Nice work, Angel!

Top pick from yelp for a good reason. Their techs are punctual and respectful. Had a stopped up kitchen line. Andrew and his partner attempted to knock out the job the first time. 3hrs of work later and wasn't able to. The following day with reinforcements and more heavy duty equipment the job was completed. You get reasonable pricing and no bs. Definitely recommend this company. I'll be having future projects through them

Called to request clean-out of drain line under driveway using hydrojetting.  The RDZ team responded quickly to all of my questions and concerns.  Job scheduled right away and team arrived on time.  Work performed quickly and effectively.  Reasonable price! Will plan to call this team again, as this is a recurring need for our house.

Dave from True Plumbing was sent to my house to diagnosis a problem I was having with an almost continuous leak with my toilet.  Told me I needed a new one in about 5 minutes, explained why, my options, what brands to look for if I wanted to go to Lowes, wasn't pushy about them doing the repairs, and left without charging me anything.  I hired them back to replace the toilet with one I bought from Lowes and once again Dave was great!  He is very friendly, answers all my questions and showed me what he was doing in case I ever want to try and do it on my own in the future.  This will definitely be my new go to plumber.  Jessica on the phone was also very friendly as well.  Great company all around from my experience!

Burtech Plumbing was great. I posted a Yelp plumbing request at 10pm and they were at noon the next day.
Mike was our plumber and fixed our issues quickly! Mike also took sometime to teach me a few things as I'm a new homeowner and had lots of questions. Highly suggest using them for any issues.
