Bob Hauer Plumbing came highly recommended on NextDoor, so I called for a quote.  He came out and, most importantly, made friends with my dogs.  :)  He provided a quote, and got me on the schedule as soon as I accepted.  He accommodated my request for early morning, which is a huge help.
I had him installing a whole home water purification system that I had purchased independently.  He told me it would take just about all day, which surprised me.  However, once you see the finished product, it is a beautiful sight to behold.  
He used copped piping as we discussed.  He placed the system where we discussed, and it is oddly nice looking.  
He took additional steps I noticed along the way - like tying back my plants to both hold them out of his way, and to protect them.  It looked like pigtails and ponytails!  

Once he got going, he worked steadily and was chipper, kind of singing along to some 90s jams as he worked, and he sounded like he was in a great mood!  I work from home, so it was a nice touch nice having a cheerful person to hear in the background, just going about his business happily.

Now - my 1968 house ALWAYS brings complications and surprises.  This time was no exception, unfortunately.  Twice it foiled him - temporarily.  

When this happened, he would work until he could not - always leavi g me with working, running water, and cleaned up pristinely.  

Now, I know we all EXPECT co tractors to clean up.  Its part of the gig.  I dont think I have ever ever seen a cleaner site.  Each time he left, it may have been cleaner than when he got there.  No exaggeration, we all have trees and yard debris.  It has been a rainy, windy winter in San Diego - I think he swept up some of my leaves in addition.  

Bob was always pleasant, calm, personable, and sweet.  Even when he ran in to surprises that necessitated extra time or supplies, he informed me with a smile.  When he told me about one of the complications, and I replied Can that be done??  He replied I can do anything  with a smile.  

I would wholeheartedly recommend his plumbing services.

I have my own gas log fireplace and one for a rental property but I wanted them inspected because they had not been used for a very long time. Marco at SPG plumbing responded very quickly and was able to come out to both properties for service. Marco definitely goes the extra mile to explain how the fireplace works and what is needed for service. After having him service both fireplaces for a very reasonable price. I also had him check our dryer vents at our rental property. Lucky I did because the vent was very backed up with lint and could've been a serious problem. All of that was avoided because Marco alerted us and did a great job. Would not hesitate to hire him.

Was recommended from a friend. Incredibly quick response and extremely reliable. I plan on using Pro's plumbing for all my future plumbing needs! Shout out to Rob and Carlos for installing a brand new toilet for my home. They were super quick and very professional.

I will say as a woman, I have had my fair share of condescending repair men and it's nice to have a group this respectful! Seriously, call them up!

Steve is very honest and very affordable!! I'm so glad  to have met him, thanks to my brother and sister-in-law. We are extremely happy to have a working garbage disposal and a kitchen faucet that's not constantly dripping. THANK YOU, STEVE!!!

As a dissatisfied customer, I posted my thoughts and advised buyer beware with Yelp and BBB in Dec/22.

I never imagined I would receive a call 3-days later from the CEO asking me to share my experience. The company prides themselves in delivering white glove service, and he wanted to know personally, how he could help. Customer service at its finest, and it isn't  dead. The work was provided complementary, and the technicians took time to explain everything they did.

They have my future business because they cared enough to make a wrong right.

Bill came out right away and checked out our clogged sink/disposal. He even worked with me in dealing with out management company who was trying to charge us and claim that we had misused the disposal. His prices were way lower then the estimate our management property was trying to charge us. He was very professional and not only that he was very kind! Call him if you have any plumbing needs! When I first called, I spoke to Gary. He was very professional. I needed to schedule an appointment in the future. Gary said that he would be able to accommodate the various plumbing projects and to just call back when I was ready to schedule the work. I provided him with pictures and gave me a rough estimate. Prices were very reasonable. He's was super nice guy on the phone. Gary sent Brandon to do the work. Brandon was amazing! We are very happy with all of the work done.  We will use C & C again when need plumbing work. Awesome job guys!

I Was going thru my kids old toys that they no longer use and was recommended to green earth from a friend. They were able to come pick up the toys and donate them to goodwill for me. I was given a donation receipt without even asking for one! Definitely using them again. Thank you so much!

I called Pure Window Cleaning because they had good reviews. They were friendly on the phone, and we're able to set up an appointment within a couple days. They showed up on time, gave me the price upfront, then did the work faster than any previous window cleaners I've had. The windows were cleaner than ever when they left, so I set up with then to come out 3 times a year to keep the windows looking good. Very satisfied

Here's how the visit went. A young guy came with an apprentice and I explained my set up and why I wanted to replace the blower in my furnace. He professionally diagnosed issues with my furnace and one issue that pertained to my AC unit and backed everything up with numbers he was getting from measuring devices he used - that was great, he was thorough. Here's where it went south, I explained that the one issue pertaining to the AC was under warranty and that the company that installed it should be taking care of that, everything else not under warranty is up for grabs. He had a hostile tone and asked, why did you call us then. I wanted to hire this company for the issues that were not under warranty, but I'm not giving my hard earned money to anyone with a poor attitude and bad customer service. I can see if I was a dick, but I explained everything, I could even see if the potential problem in the AC unit was the only work that needed to be done, but there were a lot of issues going on with plenty of work for this company to do. Hire someone with a better attitude Same Day, it will go a long ways.

Update:
The manager called me and was awesome. If I was running a company i would hire this guy as manager. He addressed the issue I had with the tech, great customer service, and handled the situation properly - for that I am bumping up the review. Good job Dan, keep it up, you guys will always have customers with your tactics.

2nd update:
The technician called and messaged me to apologize, but went on to say it was a misunderstanding. There was no misunderstanding, this kid said what he said, how bout owning up to your mistake and taking responsibility for it. Teach your employees better customer service Dan. This won't fly for me, back down to a 1 star review.

I am really grateful for Tim. He came and helped me to replace my old backflow device. He came on time with all the tools needed and some of extra parts for the installation. He did the test after installing the new backflow device and emailed me the report, all that with very reasonable price.
I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Pip has made two separate plumbing repairs at my house in Pacific Beach and I HIGHLY recommend him.  On the first occasion, I was out of town when a tenant reported that a shower faucet handle had broken off and was leaking into the bathtub.  Pip came over to let himself into the house for the repair within a few hours, and patiently returned after the lock box failed to open.  I had someone leave a key for him and he returned to let himself into the house, repair the shower handle and replace the broken valve stem.  This was within only a few hours of calling him!

On the second occasion, Pip came over the house again within a matter of hours after I called!  He fixed a pipe that was leaking into my crawlspace, which is very cramped and NOT a pleasant place to work.  He went beyond the call of duty and removed wet and moldy fiberglass insulation and inspected the area for damage.  After he made the repair, he even moved and reconnected a clothes dryer that I had disconnected to access the crawl space.  He was also able to replace a defective valve stem in the second shower on the same visit as well.  Again, this is all within hours of calling him!  

Pip is my go to plumber.  He is very timely, competent and friendly and you can absolutely trust him working inside your house when no one is home.

Shawn was available to help us out for a main drain clog last minute and on a Sunday.  He was very friendly, efficient and fixed the problem.  We will definitely use The Works again!  Thanks Shawn!

This company ripped me off twice in less than a month. Charged me $500 first time and $450 (discounted) 3 weeks later for a simple drain cleaning that took a few minutes. We didn't know any better so we paid, then we sadly found out later what a rip off this was. Be aware everyone! Very unprofessional.

They were very professional, easy to set up, great communication. Kind and thoughtful when I asked them to wear shoe coverings. Highly recommend

I found them through Yelp a couple of years ago when there was an issue with a water heater at a rental house.  I was happy with their service then and when there was a water issue at the same place, I called Pristine Plumbing.  Richard, the technician, came out quickly and figured out there was a slab leak.  Honestly, they are so good and trustworthy, I didn't even have to go to the property to manage the issue.  They were able to fix it same day by rerouting the pipes.  Initially they said it would be a half day job but they ran into problems with the homebuilders pipes.  They went above and beyond to get the job done that evening so that my renters would have hot water.  

They same week, I wanted them to take a look at my residential home.  Richard came out and tried to problem solve with me why my water had a bad plasticky smell.  He also looked around and realized my water heater was 15 years old.  I knew it had to be replaced but I was avoiding the inevitable bill but I'm glad I got it replace instead of having a potential risk lurking in my garage.  Richard brought along Will so that both of them would be able to get the job done faster.  Again, same day service and did the job by building code standards.  

This company is honest, reliable, and they have the best people working for them.  Every time I call, I receive the same kind service on the phone.  I have recommended them to numerous individuals.  They are my go-to company when it comes to any water issues.  They have great reviews on Yelp for a reason!!

We had a backed up kitchen sink and a leak underneath it.  We called Vanguard Plumbing to take care of it because we have had them out before to replace our water heater.  Our technician showed up on time, fixed out backup and was able to find a very subtle leak that had eluded our previous plumber.  Great Work!!  We have already recommended Vanguard Plumbing to a few friends.

Roby Ellis was the best plumber I have ever had! He was on time, professional, reliable, efficient and I would recommend him to everyone I know! I will definitely call him if i ever have a problem again! Thank you Roby!!!!

Bob is very professional. He helped me to resolve a dispute that I had with the seller of my new house. He came to check the water pressure and other items that were repaired by a not-so-competent plumber and made sure that the issue is resolved. Thank you Bob!

Thompson Heating and Air and their Technician Darrell was awesome. After two local companies did a no call no show for two appointments to fix my A/C I called Thompson heating and air and they had a tech come out within two hours of me calling. Darrell was very friendly, professional and quick. Pricing was great and the explanation of the fix was explained in a easy way for me to understand.
