Bob Hauer Plumbing came highly recommended on NextDoor, so I called for a quote.  He came out and, most importantly, made friends with my dogs.  :)  He provided a quote, and got me on the schedule as soon as I accepted.  He accommodated my request for early morning, which is a huge help.
I had him installing a whole home water purification system that I had purchased independently.  He told me it would take just about all day, which surprised me.  However, once you see the finished product, it is a beautiful sight to behold.  
He used copped piping as we discussed.  He placed the system where we discussed, and it is oddly nice looking.  
He took additional steps I noticed along the way - like tying back my plants to both hold them out of his way, and to protect them.  It looked like pigtails and ponytails!  

Once he got going, he worked steadily and was chipper, kind of singing along to some 90s jams as he worked, and he sounded like he was in a great mood!  I work from home, so it was a nice touch nice having a cheerful person to hear in the background, just going about his business happily.

Now - my 1968 house ALWAYS brings complications and surprises.  This time was no exception, unfortunately.  Twice it foiled him - temporarily.  

When this happened, he would work until he could not - always leavi g me with working, running water, and cleaned up pristinely.  

Now, I know we all EXPECT co tractors to clean up.  Its part of the gig.  I dont think I have ever ever seen a cleaner site.  Each time he left, it may have been cleaner than when he got there.  No exaggeration, we all have trees and yard debris.  It has been a rainy, windy winter in San Diego - I think he swept up some of my leaves in addition.  

Bob was always pleasant, calm, personable, and sweet.  Even when he ran in to surprises that necessitated extra time or supplies, he informed me with a smile.  When he told me about one of the complications, and I replied Can that be done??  He replied I can do anything  with a smile.  

I would wholeheartedly recommend his plumbing services.

Robert and his team were very responsive and prompt. A leak was discovered in our bathroom and the Pro's handled it the same day. They were very professional and all repairs were completed within just a few hours. I wouldn't use anyone else for my plumbing needs.

I had a plumbing emergency where my sewer lateral backed up all the way from the street into our home. I was referred to Plein Plumbing and they were excellent. They fixed what they could but unfortunately I had to get it check with a camera and they referred me to a great guy that helped me out. If you need any plumbing job done, these are the guys to do it!

maybe i'll upgrade from 1 star later, but tech scheduled to be here between 1 & 3pm is a no-show; Bree at their office offered to drop me to the end of the queue, like next wednesday... come on people- pt loma elec&plumbg isn't really that bad... are they?

the soonest they have me scheduled now is a week from now, friday july 20th;
so i waited 3 days for pt loma to fail to show up
and now the best they can do is schedule me 7 more days out?
yelp friends- if u need service from pt loma elec&plumbg expect to wait 10 days (taking bets that they fail to show AGAIN?)
    in case 'Jamie' reads this, i ran a service business from 4883 ronson ct for several years and never had as poor a response time as pt loma elect&plumbg,
even (especially) for customers 40 miles away... ten days? really?

Bill came out right away and checked out our clogged sink/disposal. He even worked with me in dealing with out management company who was trying to charge us and claim that we had misused the disposal. His prices were way lower then the estimate our management property was trying to charge us. He was very professional and not only that he was very kind! Call him if you have any plumbing needs! I would only hire them if you want somebody to quickly give you solid quote for the job, show up on time and do the job properly, done by a professional who is a good person.
Their card will sit on the top for any future plumbing work needed on my house. Great experience.

I can't say enough about these guys.  They responded to my request super fast and a price that I couldn't say no to.  Communication was awesome and planning was coordinated with precision and professionalism.  These guys came in on time as arranged, removed I pile of junk i would say in about 20 minutes and did it efficiently without any complaints or being judgemental.

It is really hard to give the young generation credit for working hard but these guys showed that hard working people are still out there.

Super professional and did a great job. Easy to schedule and showed up with proper equipment. They did a through job of cleaning my windows and screens which needed it after a period of being under construction. Would recommend them and will use the service again.

We thought we just had a bad wax ring on the toilet.  Wrong!!  Shawn had to leave and come back multiple times.  Found work that had been done faulty by the previous owner.  Very polite and kept us informed of his every move.  Came back a week later for other work.  
Was not a huge hit on the pocket book and his punctuality plus customer service will keep us going back to Shawn down the road.

Steve was able to get to us same day with no hassles at all. I was given a heads up when they would arrive. Steve was friendly and willing to go the  extra mile and try some tricks first to get our water flowing in our bathtub drain. Luckily the tricks worked and it likely saved us hundreds in repairs. I had vanguard plumbing update my upstairs bathroom drains and vents which were installed incorrectly from the previous remodeling contractor. It was a lot of work.Also had my clothes dryer vent rerouted from the attic to garage. It's working much more efficient now. Robert and Dave did a great job. They were professional and courteous and arrived on time. I will be using vanguard for my future plumbing needs.

I was referred to Roby by a friend when I needed a plumber for a broken/leaking water heater.  He replied to my call right away and was able to fit me in that day (since it seemed urgent).   It's been 5 years and all is wonderful with the water heater!  Since then I have had him repair two of my toilettes and received the same quick response and polite service.   I would highly recommend him to anyone for any plumbing need.

I had an issue with a leaking kitchen faucet. I was able to send him pictures and he told me what was wrong. He fit me into his schedule and fixed it same day. Great service and very nice informative tech. I will be using RJB again for all my plumbing needs.

Ignacio was SUPER!!!! After doing an assessment of our noisy pipes he was able to determine the most likely cause. He got the job done and very patient with my 3 year old who is a chatter box.
