Laidlaw is a local Borrego Springs Plumber. They installed two faucet sets for us. One we bought from another source had an issue. Don Laidlaw took the faucet for repair and reinstalled it in perfect working order. Excellent follow up and service.

Excellent service! Chris and his associate arrived on time, very efficient, fixed the plumbing issue, provided me suggestions and recommendations of services that should be taken care of at another time. Both plumbers are professional yet personable. I will be using them for future plumbing issues.

Last year I purchased a condo in the south part of Pasadena and I redid my kitchen completely. I noticed the kitchen sink cabinet was showing some egregious leaks even though everything was new!!! It seemed that my leak occurred anytime we were cleaning up the dishes and when the dishwasher had been run.
I called Pipe Bros after reading a ton of comments and reviews on Yelp for Licensed and Bonded Plumbers with 50+ public reviews.
Titus was dispatched today promptly during my quoted arrival and service time. Wow! I am so impressed with the service. I thought my dishwasher was leaking but Titus diagnosed a leak from my exhaust port never having been sealed properly by my kitchen contractor.
Also, a long term problem was diagnosed and prevented. My kitchen contractor had apparently done a really poor job installing my new sink and dish washer, particularly how the pipes were complicated and likely to cause blockage later on.
Titus was able to within the service window completely revamp my kitchen sink piping and even refurbish the joint connected to my pipes inside the drywall. A seal was missing as well, so Titus identified that and replaced it.
I would recommend Titus and Pipe Bros to anyone in the community.

Updated Review: Travis just stopped by and talked to me for a while about the plumbing work I need done. Really nice and knowledgeable guy. He takes the time to explain the work that needs to be done. I left a negative review the other day only because I had called/emailed and didn't get a reply for several days. He was on vacation.
I will have him back to work on my plumbing jobs.

Cal really knows what he is doing. He diagnosed our plumbing issue which another plumber couldn't figure out and wanted to rip up stuff that didn't need to be ripped up and dug out. I think he has 20+ years of experience seeing it all and the guy is good. Came out quickly and repaired, so glad we found him.

Had technician Ed come out. He was Knowledgeable in his field and knew exactly what he was doing. He even showed me proper maintenance on the water heater which was awesome. He followed all covid protocols and was very polite. And had some super clean work! Will be doing service with this company again!

I was referred by a friend at work. I had a hose break under the sink. At the time I thought it was a pipe or something worse. I called and they came right over and fixed it. I was so happy with the gentleman that helped me. I will refer my friends to diet plumbing.

The hot water in my shower was intermittent. I was worried that my 14-year-old tankless water heater had died an early death. I had another company come out, do very little checking, and quote me $3200 for a new one. I contacted Jared and he started with questions. Lots of questions. He was more curious about identifying and solving the problem than selling me something. His curiosity paid off - my dear old water heater was fine, it was the shower cartridge that was to blame. He replaced it (for far, far less than the cost of a new water heater). Jared was polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. I can not recommend him highly enough. I will 100% call him with any plumbing needs in the future.

We had all of our lines backed up. Plus an event the next day in our home so the stress was through the roof. In comes Xtreme Drainworks to save the day. They showed up in less than 2 hours. Then had the whole problem fixed in less than 2 hours with a very reasonable bill. I will use them every time.

I have been a customer of Just plumbing for over 11 years. They installed all my kitchen appliances, including the kitchen sink. At my restaurant they replaced all the plumbing underneath the 1850's building. Installed a grease trap. I call them for all my drain clearing needs.
Yesterday they came to the restaurant and replaced the faucet and sprayer. I had purchased all the items I thought I needed. Tim was able to save me a $100.00 by replacing some of the worn parts. They will help you to save money whenever possible. I never worry about sticker shock when I get an invoice. Don't tell them, but it is usually less than I expect.
Thanks for all the years of great service

Pipeline plumbing and drain is a fantastic company. I found them on next-door neighbor when I was in need of a somewhat immediate issue. My garbage disposal stopped working and I had water backing up in my kitchen sink.Couldn't drain it, and really gross, and of course it was after 5 PM.
I remember seeing something on Nextdoor about a similar issue, took a look at the recommendations (Pipeline was highly recommended several times on ND) and has solid yelp reviews. Although I reached out to a bunch of companies, Eric from Pipeline Plumbing was the first to respond. He was very nice and gave me some quick suggestions to try to get the clog cleared, and the water removal. Nothing worked but i appreciate the suggestions. A couple of the other companies got back to me within an hour or two but their availability was several days away and this really couldn't wait.
Pipeline was available to come the next morning between 8 and 10 AM, so I booked them. I received a text about 20 minutes before Jon arrived which was greatly appreciated.
Jon was fantastic, diagnosed the issue quickly and was able to fix it right away. I needed a new garbage disposal and having gone through this before in another house, I found their pricing to be completely fair and in line with what I paid before. Jon was professional, very nice and left my kitchen spotless!
I highly recommend Pipeline Plumbing and thank Jon so much for his professionalism, attention to detail and fast response.

Great company! They get the job done fast and they also take the time to explain step by step everything that they do and the reason why they do it.
I highly recommend Done Right Drains and Plumbing and I definitely will go with them in any future event that involve their expertise

I wanted to replace my old and noisy 16-year-old Power Vent Water Heater in my second-floor condominium. I once called a company and said that I needed my Power Vent Water Heater replaced. They sent a plumber who wasn't told that I needed a Power Vent Water Heater. The plumber then complained he did not have one, that there would be an extra charge for having two plumbers, and strangely stated I am not going to charge you for this call. After that I reached out to other companies and their attitudes were truly discouraging. But when I called Original Plumbing, the owner Joseph Martinez was very courteous and helpful. Because I was busy the rest of the day, I met Joseph the next morning and he explained the project and the costs involved. That same day he brought the very hard-to-find Power Vent Water Heater and replaced my old one in just over two hours. The space that houses the water heater is so tight that another plumber may charge more labor hours for removing it from and replacing it in the very tight closet space. He also gave me his five-year parts and labor complete warranty, whereas the six-year manufacturer's warranty only covers the first year of labor.
I highly recommend Original Plumbing because Joseph Martinez gives prompt service, a complete evaluation of the work involved, and respect for the owner's property. I believe the cost of the work is reasonable, most likely because it is a family-owned business.

My water heater thermocouple failed and wouldn't keep the pilot lit. Since my water heater was already 16 years old, I decided beforehand that I wanted it replaced, and slightly upgraded from 40 to 50 gallons.
On Saturday, another plumbing company came over and started playing games with pricing and I saw right through them, so I sent him away nicely. I did some more in-depth searching and filled out info for Guardian Plumbers via the Bradford-White website, and they called me right away and set a day to have a look.
Jose Rodriguez looked at the existing, and since it was a straightforward project he was able to give me an estimate fairly quickly. The price was right in line with what I was expecting (looking online and my friend that had a similar replacement done). No games with the prices, just charged what it should cost to do the work. So I said let's go.
He was very efficient, even though it was a hot day. He told me roughly what he was going to do and what was included, including some minor code upgrades (gas flex, expansion tank, pan) which was a nice relief from worrying that things wouldn't go as I would want.
I am picky about not only the installation and products used, but also the fit and finish of any home projects. That's why I DIY so much because many contractors won't do the last 10% due to time and cost. But with my water heater it looked good, Jose made good decisions about the strapping, piping, etc. so that it looks neatly installed. He cleaned up the area afterwards as well.
It's nice to know that I don't have to look around so much next time I need plumbing work done. My shower mixing valves will need to be replaced when I remodel the bathrooms, toilets changed out, new valves on my sinks, dishwasher installation and maybe a whole house water filter are on my list in the upcoming years. So thanks to them for running a great company and having a strong company culture. With any company it starts with their leadership, and continues with who they hire.

The team at Coast 2 Coast plumbing came out and got my leaking water main replaced same day. I had water coming up everywhere and didn't know how to shut it off. Danny was able to walk me through turning the water off over the phone. I appreciated their cleanliness, attention to detail, and ability to quickly diagnose and repair my plumbing problem. Definitely recommend 10/10.

Bottom Line for those that do not want to read this boring, lengthy review: I highly recommended Mike and Proactive Plumbing. On my soapbox, I do ask, however, as responsible consumers, let's make sure to not take advantage of honest and hardworking small business (and even larger businesses) by using reviews as leverage and asking them to provide services beyond what we are paying them to do. It is apparent from his immaculate yelp records that he has gone above and beyond to ensure his client's satisfaction.
I say that because he has really gone above and beyond for us today and is providing services that, at the end of the day, really do not fall under Proactive Plumbing's umbrella of responsibility. Rather some of the responsibilities belongs to two other businesses (one of those is do to a timing issue and the other is due to, what I consider, poor service). Ultimately, we will pay him for the addition service; however, it is unfortunate that he is not requesting payment from us due to a unjust fear that we may give a bad review based off of others business services failures or delays.
CHAIN OF EVENTS:
We ordered a new dishwasher from a big box store and purchased the installation service as well. The third party service delivered the dishwasher and prepared for install. Within 10 minutes, they deemed the valve was bad and could not continue with the install until we called a plumber to come out and replace the valve. Once completed, called the big box to reschedule the installation.
I checked yelp for plumbing services, and received four quotes, including ProActive Plumbing, which had the most reviews with highest ratings. All responses were quick. ProActive price was very fair, and, again, the reviews were excellent. We had him come out when we were completing the replacement of our flooring.
Mike from ProActive explained that the valve really was not bad, but when turning on the water it could drip. He was honest and said if we did not want to spend the money now, it was not necessary; however, we would probably need to in the future. We went forth with the repair.
He completed the repair; however, acknowledged that he did not have one of the pieces. He replaced it with a comparable part and gave the disclaimer that, should the Installers give further flack about the piece, ask them to install the dishwasher, yet leave the hose disconnected. Pro-Active would then come back to replace the piece and connect the dishwasher.
The Installation Service came back out and would not install due to, what they squawked was, the incorrect fitting. So out comes Pro-Active Plumbing again, which brings us to where we are today. This is what he has done for us:
We discovered the new flooring juts too far into the dishwasher cubby. He figured out a way to cut it and fit it. This was not his responsibility, but he did it anyways.
He replaced the valve with the necessary valve.
He installed the dishwasher. This was not his responsibility, but he did it anyways.
He was hired to replace a valve and ended up completing all of these extra tasks in the name of customer service, and is personable, at that.

Noticed a slow drip from the drain valve on our old 2009, 50 gallon water heater. After researching on NextDoor App and Yelp, found Plamen with North County Water Heater, who was highly recommended . Called & left a message and received a call back within 10 minutes. After a brief conversation about our issue, Plamen stated he was available to come by same day. I texted him pictures of our leaky dinosaur and less than an hour later, he arrived with a brand new replacement. He was extremely pleasant and even offered to repair the drain valve instead of replacing the whole unit but due to it's age, we knew it was time for an upgrade. Cost was reasonable, communication via text was convenient and install was about 75 minutes. Thankful we caught the leak before it turned into something more serious and thankful to Plamen for a great experience!
