I have used Don Laidlaw for a number of plumbing issues.  He stands by his work and always does a fine job.  

The last time I used him I had a whole house water filter installed outside the house.  After he left we noticed a small leak that night and called Don back.

It turns out that when Don manipulated the pipe outside a small hairline crack formed inside the wall.

Don came back immediately the next day (which turned out to be Father's Day) and discovered, cut through the wall and fixed everything.

The thing that impressed me most was the quality of his cuts through the wall, the replacement of everything, and the initial work he did.

I know that he was excited about spending Father's Day with his kids and I respected that he took a part of that day and followed through to make sure the job was complete and of good quality.

When it comes to hiring a professional to work for you, you can't ask for more than that.

Loved these two, they were awesome!  They knew what to do as soon as they arrived. My new kitchen faucet is installed and I love it!

They knew exactly what to do when installing a new gas line for adding my gas fireplace. Even knew I needed a turn off valve on the outside of my firebox so that the logs can be installed properly (I called fireplace store and they verified that's exactly what was needed). They both took the time to be very personable and even with their added parts run they are THE most REASONABLY priced plumbing company we've ever had. Will ALWAYS be calling them in the future 100%. A very pleasant service man came to fix a leaky problem toilet in my garage. The solution was a piece of wood to prop up the tank. So...Ok.

The service man came in to the house to write up the invoice and while he was inside I asked him about my bathroom faucet. The cold turned in a direction that was surprising to me. He explained that if it were a regular handle and not the one I had it would seem natural. This made sense to me, but we noticed the handle was loose while we were examining it and I asked if he could make it tighter.  He did, and it took all of 45 seconds.

He then sat in my living room and wrote up the invoice. I was very surprised at the price but that's because I am cash poor. Haha! (love rich) He charged me $75 just to tighten the sink! I would have liked it, if he told me how many beans it was going to be at the time because it seemed like something I probably would have done myself eventually. He told me I could write a review for a discount. I don't think I would ever normally come here to mention my experience because it was really very normal and not particularly noteworthy. But since you asked...

UPDATE: I received a call from a supervisor one day after my review was posted and he told me he had noticed my review and wanted to make things right. I wasn't particularly in need of this. I only posted the review because they had insisted on it. He assured me that the service men are supposed to quote a price before working and he offered to refund the $75 charge for tightening the bathroom faucet handle. I thought this was very fair. He encouraged me to delete or edit my review in accordance with this refund. I have added a star because if I was quoted the price at the time, I would have been much happier.

Travis is awesome!  I'm a realtor and needed a rush plumbing inspection for an escrow.  He responded to my phone call immediately, was incredibly helpful, conducted the inspection within our quick timeline.  He showed up on time, was thorough and explained everything very clearly.  I HIGHLY recommend Travis!!

Had a tenant call the other day, said his shower was clogged. Called Cal to see when he could get out there and said he happened to be in that neighborhood. Called my tenant that he would be over in a few. Cal swung by and unclogged the shower in a jiffy. Tenant happy, I'm happy, all is good. Can always count on Cal to take care of my tenants. Knows what he is doing and gets the job done. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good plumber.

I was referred by a friend at work. I had a hose break under the sink. At the time I thought it was a pipe or something worse. I called and they came right over and fixed it. I was so happy with the gentleman that helped me. I will refer my friends to diet plumbing.

Jared Butler first worked on a bathroom remodel at our La Jolla home 10/18 installing a new toilet and replacing shower fixtures.  He was able to locate an unusual sized fixture that installed easily without having to tear into the tile and wall. In the summer 2019, he worked on a major kitchen/bath remodel on a rental house in Clairemont.  In the process, he discovered the old galvanized pipes were rotten and ended up replacing all the plumbing.  He handled this unexpected event in a professional, efficient and fair manner.  In addition, he installed many fixtures, garbage disposer, water filter, washer/dryer and tankless water heater on the outside wall freeing up needed inside storage space.  Another challenge of this Clairemont project was the fact that we were out of town for most of the project.  Jared kept good communication with us, accommodated our situation smoothly, and our absence was not a problem.  I highly recommend Jared for any of your plumbing needs and look forward to working with him again soon on another upcoming project.

We had all of our lines backed up. Plus an event the next day in our home so the stress was through the roof. In comes Xtreme Drainworks to save the day. They showed up in less than 2 hours. Then had the whole problem fixed in less than 2 hours with a very reasonable bill. I will use them every time.

I had a major issue with the old cast iron sewage pipes at my house.  My bathtub drain was completely plugged up, and a snake could not clear it.  First I had a couple of the big guys (Mr. Rooter, etc.) come out and they did a camera inspection.  I had leaks and roots inside the sewage pipes.  They suggested replacing the pipes with ABS pipes using pipe-bursting.  The pipes will be replaced, but they will still be located under the house and under the concrete slab. They wanted a lot of money to do that.  The other big company suggested relining the pipes, but then I found out they can only reline 3 inch pipes, not 2 inch pipes which is half of my pipes.  Also with lined pipes, you can not use a snake to clear clogs anymore. The snake will actually damage the liner.  I then called Just Plumbing and they rerouted the sewage pipes underground on the outside of the house using ABS pipes.  They did a great job at a fraction of the price of the big guys.  The best thing about rerouting the plumbing outside is that now I have easy access to the pipes in case there is another issue with my sewage pipes in the future.
I will always use JUST PLUMBING from now on.  Great service at a fair price.
Oh yes,  one of the Big Guys called me back and asked if I have decided to do the job.  I told her I decided to use a smaller company that will do it at 1/3 of your cost.  She said: Oh yes, we run into that a lot. That's because we are a large company and we have a lot of over head.  At lease she was honest.

To Jon and Jason - thank you so much for helping us out and for your quality work. We needed help fixing a leak and install a full house water softener system.

We purchased our own water softener system for our house and I attempted to install it myself.

After spending whole day to myself, I caused a leak from our main water line.

I called Pipeline Plumbing the next morning and they gave me an estimate which was a really good pricing. The following day Jon and Jason came out, removed my messy work, and re-finished all installations properly. They read the installation manual which was complicated and finished the job in speedy but good quality work.

Now we have reverse osmosis system and I'm going to have them install it as well.

Had a great experience with Agape Restoration! They came to the rescue when our house had a major leak below the house for almost 2 months! Fernando was great to work with, professional and got the job done at our home for a wonderful price. We can't thank them enough!

Despite the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, Done Right responded   promptly and professionally from first contact.  Every person that contacted me was very understanding - from the dispatch agent to the general manager (Juan).  I cannot say enough how they made themselves available and followed-up either a Yelp conversation, text or phone call.  They are committed to upholding their company name Done Right!

My problem was the Master double sinks drained slowly and smelled of sewage.  I first went with the $40 drain clean (aka snaking).  After a mix-up on the appointment (my error), James still managed to arrive at my place.  Geez their snake is industrial length!  After putting in some serious time and energy, it first appeared successful.  But it was not, and also, a new leak appeared because of the old pipe was plastic and the seal was no longer good.  James recommended jetting which turned out to be what was needed.

Done Right made no delay in scheduling the jetting.  This time it was Juan who diagnosed the problem more closely prior to jetting.  He showed examples while explaining what the pipes most likely looked like.  And he's right knowing that the pipes have not had a jetting in probably decades!  I'm lucky that the pipes did not need to be replaced.  Needless to say, the pipes completely cleared.  The water will be running smooth for another 8-9 years now!

Other details worth mentioning is they applied the $40 drain clean to my jetting, which I thought was generous since the 1st visit (James) required intensive time and labor.  Also, they wore booties, kept the work area covered to protect your floors, and cleaned up after the job is finished.

All said, Done Right takes every step to ensure that their work is beyond reproach.  While I hope not to need a plumber anytime soon, I know who to call when I do!

I wanted to replace my old and noisy 16-year-old Power Vent Water Heater in my second-floor condominium. I once called a company and said that I needed my Power Vent Water Heater replaced.  They sent a plumber who wasn't told that I needed a Power Vent Water Heater. The plumber then complained he did not have one, that there would be an extra charge for having two plumbers, and strangely stated I am not going to charge you for this call. After that I reached out to other companies and their attitudes were truly discouraging. But when I called Original Plumbing, the owner Joseph Martinez was very courteous and helpful. Because I was busy the rest of the day, I met Joseph the next morning and he explained the project and the costs involved. That same day he brought the very hard-to-find Power Vent Water Heater and replaced my old one in just over two hours. The space that houses the water heater is so tight that another plumber may charge more labor hours for removing it from and replacing it in the very tight closet space.  He also gave me his five-year parts and labor complete warranty, whereas the six-year manufacturer's warranty only covers the first year of labor.
I highly recommend Original Plumbing because Joseph Martinez gives prompt service, a complete evaluation of the work involved, and respect for the owner's property.  I believe the cost of the work is reasonable, most likely because it is a family-owned business.

I am so glad I called Guardian Plumbers! The plumber (Ricky) arrived at the scheduled time and got right to work. He was courteous, very informative and patiently answered all of my questions. Ricky was extremely professional and fixed the problem in no time at all . I would not hesitate to call guardian plumbers again if needed or to refer them to family/friends.

The team at Coast 2 Coast plumbing came out and got my leaking water main replaced same day. I had water coming up everywhere and didn't know how to shut it off. Danny was able to walk me through turning the water off over the phone. I appreciated their cleanliness, attention to detail, and ability to quickly diagnose and repair my plumbing problem. Definitely recommend 10/10.

Found Proactive on Yelp. Called late in the day on Friday and they were able to move some less than urgent appointments around to get Carl out to my house to address an active leak.
