I have used Don Laidlaw for a number of plumbing issues.  He stands by his work and always does a fine job.  

The last time I used him I had a whole house water filter installed outside the house.  After he left we noticed a small leak that night and called Don back.

It turns out that when Don manipulated the pipe outside a small hairline crack formed inside the wall.

Don came back immediately the next day (which turned out to be Father's Day) and discovered, cut through the wall and fixed everything.

The thing that impressed me most was the quality of his cuts through the wall, the replacement of everything, and the initial work he did.

I know that he was excited about spending Father's Day with his kids and I respected that he took a part of that day and followed through to make sure the job was complete and of good quality.

When it comes to hiring a professional to work for you, you can't ask for more than that.

I had a great experience with this company. Chris and his partner did a great job. I had an emergency in my house and had to call a few other companies before I found a spot in their schedule. The Guys arrived right away on time and I can't even tell you how fast and efficient were they. The price is absolutely reasonable and fair. Super reliable company.

A very pleasant service man came to fix a leaky problem toilet in my garage. The solution was a piece of wood to prop up the tank. So...Ok.

The service man came in to the house to write up the invoice and while he was inside I asked him about my bathroom faucet. The cold turned in a direction that was surprising to me. He explained that if it were a regular handle and not the one I had it would seem natural. This made sense to me, but we noticed the handle was loose while we were examining it and I asked if he could make it tighter.  He did, and it took all of 45 seconds.

He then sat in my living room and wrote up the invoice. I was very surprised at the price but that's because I am cash poor. Haha! (love rich) He charged me $75 just to tighten the sink! I would have liked it, if he told me how many beans it was going to be at the time because it seemed like something I probably would have done myself eventually. He told me I could write a review for a discount. I don't think I would ever normally come here to mention my experience because it was really very normal and not particularly noteworthy. But since you asked...

UPDATE: I received a call from a supervisor one day after my review was posted and he told me he had noticed my review and wanted to make things right. I wasn't particularly in need of this. I only posted the review because they had insisted on it. He assured me that the service men are supposed to quote a price before working and he offered to refund the $75 charge for tightening the bathroom faucet handle. I thought this was very fair. He encouraged me to delete or edit my review in accordance with this refund. I have added a star because if I was quoted the price at the time, I would have been much happier.

If there were 10 stars I'd give them! I moved into a home that needed all new everything plumbing! Travis worked for a time period of about 3 weeks. He had everything scheduled out, showed up when he said and charged me exactly what he quoted. He worked around other contractors and became my eyes and ears when I was at work.  His advice and direction was priceless.  He made suggestions that saved me thousands of dollars and had nothing to do with plumbing. I have been in my home now for two years and first met Travis at my previous home.  I called him on a holiday weekend because my water heater wasn't producing hot water.  No  other plumber was available and the ones that were wanted to charge me a higher rate due to the holiday.  Travis fixed my water heater and he was super nice and professional.  I not only found my plumber for life that day but I also met a new friend and btw I am the CEO of a large real estate company and I don't hesitate to refer him to all of my agents when one of their clients need a great plumber.

Cal really knows what he is doing. He diagnosed our plumbing issue which another plumber couldn't figure out and wanted to rip up stuff that didn't need to be ripped up and dug out. I think he has 20+ years of experience seeing it all and the guy is good. Came out quickly and repaired, so glad we found him.

We have been working with plumb 365 for quite some time and they are great! Our clients are always providing feedback for us and have commented on how responsive, professional and polite the technicians are. We have worked with Mike, Elizabeth, Dominic and Tony and they are always there to help in anyway. They are consistently following up to keep us informed on the progress of work orders. Porfirio wa súper profesional, he was on time and when we call him Friday around 7:30 pm he answered the phone right away.  He is super reasonable and friendly. I highly recommend!!!!! And really reasonable prices! Thank you Diaz pluming!

Awesome experience! Jared was very knowledgeable and professional. We had a gas leak problem and SDGE turned off our gas due to the leak. He was very quick with completing the project and was a great price compared to others.   Looking forward to working with him again on future projects.

Brian from Xtreme Drainworks was great. We needed the pipes scoped on an older home to help us decide if we wanted to follow through with it's purchase. We were pressed for time with our lender, so a quick visit to Yelp lead us to Brian. He was able to provide a very competitive price along with an immediate visit. We had an engineer over examining our foundation at the same time and Brian completed his job quickly without any needed guidance from us. As he was waiting for us to finish with the engineer, he took it upon himself to trace the main line so that it would be easier of us to dig it up ourselves (which was one of a few money-saving suggestions Brian threw out during his visit). Although the news about our pipes wasn't the best, the service from Brian a Xtreme Drainworks was.

Just Plumbing is a family owned company, which made me feel comfortable from the start. They gave an accurate estimate, were fast and thorough. I am very pleased and will call them back again for other work. I really appreciated their reasonable price, as I did a lot of research before calling them, and I know I made the right decision. They stand behind their work with a  year warranty too! Amazing! Val J.

These guys are simply awesome! I called and got a same day appointment, they showed up on time when they said, and even called prior to arriving. They went above and beyond to make sure the issue at hand was fixed accurately and promptly and when done you couldn't tell they were even there. No hidden fees to clear my 2 drains. The big name company had hidden fees for the same two drains.

90 day guarantee on the drain clearing. That is outstanding! I won't take advantage of this perk because it'll be my fault if they clog again, but what great service.

Silvia, the receptionist, was very friendly.

We had a pinhole leak in the wall of our restaurant. They arrived quickly and repaired the issue quickly. We are super appreciative for their help and will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing needs.

I really wanted to use this business, but they insisted that I pay a service fee to get an estimate even after a detailed description of the issue (it's a simple one and I was looking to compare prices). What's the point of asking for estimates on Yelp if all it is is a lead generator for the business? Can't compare prices if it cost $65.00 to find out how much the job will be. Sorry. The competition was able to give me a rough estimate so I could get a feel for the cost and compare them.

The team at Coast 2 Coast plumbing came out and got my leaking water main replaced same day. I had water coming up everywhere and didn't know how to shut it off. Danny was able to walk me through turning the water off over the phone. I appreciated their cleanliness, attention to detail, and ability to quickly diagnose and repair my plumbing problem. Definitely recommend 10/10.

Just moved into my aunt's place in San Marcos with my husband. We weren't getting any hot water in our shower in the master bedroom. I shower in the downstairs bathroom before work.

Get to work at 7 am and I Yelp find plumber near San Marcos, CA and Proactive Plumbing shows up with raving and legit-looking reviews (check legit-ness by seeing how many other reviews the reviewers write because sometimes there are obvious fakes).

The husband texts me it will be $190 to fix. I'm surprised that they are there, it's 8:59 am. He says a cartridge replacement is needed.

9:23 am - I get a text saying they're done.

Wow. Less than 3 hours from yelping them and the job is done. We are now having warm showers and don't have to walk downstairs to get ready for work. Thank you!

Great service and fair price. Palman came to replace anode rode for my water storage tank. He was on time and only took him 30 mini to complete the job. I found them to be very reliable and simple straight forward. I definitely recommend them to anyone who need service on their water heater.
