Laidlaw is a local Borrego Springs Plumber.  They installed two faucet sets for us.  One we bought from another source had an issue.  Don Laidlaw took the faucet for repair and reinstalled it in perfect working order. Excellent follow up and service.

I have used San Diego's Finest Plumbing twice now.  Both times I was completely satisfied. I would recommend them to everyone!

A very pleasant service man came to fix a leaky problem toilet in my garage. The solution was a piece of wood to prop up the tank. So...Ok.

The service man came in to the house to write up the invoice and while he was inside I asked him about my bathroom faucet. The cold turned in a direction that was surprising to me. He explained that if it were a regular handle and not the one I had it would seem natural. This made sense to me, but we noticed the handle was loose while we were examining it and I asked if he could make it tighter.  He did, and it took all of 45 seconds.

He then sat in my living room and wrote up the invoice. I was very surprised at the price but that's because I am cash poor. Haha! (love rich) He charged me $75 just to tighten the sink! I would have liked it, if he told me how many beans it was going to be at the time because it seemed like something I probably would have done myself eventually. He told me I could write a review for a discount. I don't think I would ever normally come here to mention my experience because it was really very normal and not particularly noteworthy. But since you asked...

UPDATE: I received a call from a supervisor one day after my review was posted and he told me he had noticed my review and wanted to make things right. I wasn't particularly in need of this. I only posted the review because they had insisted on it. He assured me that the service men are supposed to quote a price before working and he offered to refund the $75 charge for tightening the bathroom faucet handle. I thought this was very fair. He encouraged me to delete or edit my review in accordance with this refund. I have added a star because if I was quoted the price at the time, I would have been much happier.

Travis was prompt, very courteous, efficient, and did excellent work on our leaky toilet.  He is polite, adorable, and does volunteer musical performances in nursing homes.  Definitely a local resident, local business, deserving of support.

I was referred to Cal's Plumbing for a burst line to the dishwasher one evening, Cal was out immediately and had the line fixed in no time. I found Cal to be very knowledgeable, capable and prompt with the highest integrity. I have referred Cal's Plumbing to several friends of mine for leaking Water heaters, rusty garbage disposals and even a backed up sewer line. The feed back I get from them is always positive. It's great to have a plumber you can trust.

Plumb365 was referred to us from a friend.  Despite the schedule change, they did not disappoint.  Mike was thorough with his work, cleaned up his work area better than it was before he started and completed the repairs within half the time given. Excellent customer service! I highly recommend Xtreme Drainworks. I needed a drain cleaned out in my garage and it took less than 1 hour from the time I called the office.  The technician was pleasant, friendly, and even cleaned my sink with his own cleaning products!

Bottom line, Tim and Oscar are great, and they will be our go to service whenever problems come up. They are honest, reliable and have reasonable prices.

We had problems with our 1956 shower faucets where the seats were stuck and we had to cap off our shower head as water was just pouring out. They were able to come by the same day I called. Tim told me over the phone that he knew exactly what the problem was and explained the options. He told me exactly how much it would cost. The other places I called quoted me over the phone as well but were $300+ higher (2 other plumbing services)
Tim & Oscar came out (on time) drilled through the front of the shower installed new faucet hardware (from double to single), put in the new shower arm/head and were done with the whole project in under an hour. No mess, they cleaned everything up and it was good as new and after almost 3 weeks everything is still working great. They were so fast, we asked them to fix our pipes under our kitchen sink too. They fixed it in less than a half hour and for a very reasonable price.
Then, we had to call them again last week as the pressure in our kitchen sink was very low. It had nothing to do with what they did last time they were here. It turned out to be some broken pieces of plastic from when my husband installed the new sink. They were able to come out within an hour of us calling and they fixed it in less than a half hour and didn't charge us anything!!

If you are looking for reliable and professional service look no further than Pipeline Plumbing and Drain Specialist. I called for emergency assistance since I had to shut off the water to my home. John and Ryan arrived within two-and-a-half hours. They knew how to fix the problem quickly and left without charging me. One would expect to pay over a hundred for a house call, but not Pipeline. This is an exceptional company with a passion for excellence!

Fernando from ARS was great. He came fixed the problem, was upfront about the cost before he began work and there were no hidden fees. I will definitely be using him in the future.

WOW!!! I AM INCREDIBLY IMPRESSED with the level of knowledge our technician James had!! Not only did he teach me the ins-and-outs of my kitchen sink and clear out drain (which I never knew existed), but he was also able to give recommendations on how to maintain the sink to avoid future clogs. Something I felt was genuinely respectable was that James also educated me on the rights of a renter (me) versus a homeowner/landlord as to who would be responsible for the financial costs of the kitchen sink maintenance, so I sincerely appreciate his honesty and shared knowledge. The whole experience working with Done Right Drain & Plumbing from the quick response on Yelp, the friendly staff over the phone, to James' expertise was AMAZING!! 10/10 would recommend choosing them for all your drain and plumbing needs!

I wanted to replace my old and noisy 16-year-old Power Vent Water Heater in my second-floor condominium. I once called a company and said that I needed my Power Vent Water Heater replaced.  They sent a plumber who wasn't told that I needed a Power Vent Water Heater. The plumber then complained he did not have one, that there would be an extra charge for having two plumbers, and strangely stated I am not going to charge you for this call. After that I reached out to other companies and their attitudes were truly discouraging. But when I called Original Plumbing, the owner Joseph Martinez was very courteous and helpful. Because I was busy the rest of the day, I met Joseph the next morning and he explained the project and the costs involved. That same day he brought the very hard-to-find Power Vent Water Heater and replaced my old one in just over two hours. The space that houses the water heater is so tight that another plumber may charge more labor hours for removing it from and replacing it in the very tight closet space.  He also gave me his five-year parts and labor complete warranty, whereas the six-year manufacturer's warranty only covers the first year of labor.
I highly recommend Original Plumbing because Joseph Martinez gives prompt service, a complete evaluation of the work involved, and respect for the owner's property.  I believe the cost of the work is reasonable, most likely because it is a family-owned business.

After reading some reviews I decided to give guardian plumbers a try.  I had clogged drainage pipes on my side yard.  Matt and his crew were concerned professionals from start to finish.  They listened to my situation, assessed the scope of work, provided a reasonable quote, while maintaining  professionalism at all times.

I tend to find contractors who prefer to deal with the man of the household but being a military family I often am the person having to make the calls.  

Kristin, the office manager was well informed.   Was paitent and courteous.   This  local company is a rare gem with its work ethic.  

They are my go to plumbers being open 24 hrs a day!  Even have online payments and invoicing.   Being current with technology is a huge plus in my book.

Danny and Coast to Coast Plumbing is the best plumber in San Diego, hands down. I cannot highly recommend Danny and his team. He did exactly what he said he was going to, and came out right away. I actually have him in my phone as the best plumber. Highly highly recommend.

A day after my review came out, the owner called me personally and asked if he could have a chance to make things right. I was more than happy to have that happen. He came out the next day, checked everything over, mentioned that the remaining leak was coming from a bad faucet. I bought a new one, which he then installed no charge. He also cleaned out my upstairs faucet for me. Additionally, he asked where they went wrong and what they could have done better. I could not have asked for more. Mistakes happen, but when you're willing to step up and make things right, that's good business!

Plamen did a great job in installing the new 50 gal water heater. He was number 2 on my search result for water heater plumbing but he should have been number one since his price was fair ($300 dollars less than number one), his workmanship was great and only took about an hour to install. Thanks, Plamen, for the hard work and honest business!
