Laidlaw is a local Borrego Springs Plumber.  They installed two faucet sets for us.  One we bought from another source had an issue.  Don Laidlaw took the faucet for repair and reinstalled it in perfect working order. Excellent follow up and service.

Had the first appointment that was suddenly rescheduled in the time frame the appointment was for.  That was super frustrating but okay things happen.  We rescheduled for a few days later.  Apparently another thing happened.  That appointment got canceled, not rescheduled.  My husband had to follow up the next day to see when to reschedule and we were told he could not fulfill his commitment to the appointment.  What a waste of our time.  We could have called several other companies but it was our fault for relying on this company.

A very pleasant service man came to fix a leaky problem toilet in my garage. The solution was a piece of wood to prop up the tank. So...Ok.

The service man came in to the house to write up the invoice and while he was inside I asked him about my bathroom faucet. The cold turned in a direction that was surprising to me. He explained that if it were a regular handle and not the one I had it would seem natural. This made sense to me, but we noticed the handle was loose while we were examining it and I asked if he could make it tighter.  He did, and it took all of 45 seconds.

He then sat in my living room and wrote up the invoice. I was very surprised at the price but that's because I am cash poor. Haha! (love rich) He charged me $75 just to tighten the sink! I would have liked it, if he told me how many beans it was going to be at the time because it seemed like something I probably would have done myself eventually. He told me I could write a review for a discount. I don't think I would ever normally come here to mention my experience because it was really very normal and not particularly noteworthy. But since you asked...

UPDATE: I received a call from a supervisor one day after my review was posted and he told me he had noticed my review and wanted to make things right. I wasn't particularly in need of this. I only posted the review because they had insisted on it. He assured me that the service men are supposed to quote a price before working and he offered to refund the $75 charge for tightening the bathroom faucet handle. I thought this was very fair. He encouraged me to delete or edit my review in accordance with this refund. I have added a star because if I was quoted the price at the time, I would have been much happier.

Travis showed up and knew how to fix the problem with my hot water heater right away. He also gave me some great education as a new homeowner and what maintenance needed to be done to ensure my hot water heater lasts a long time. Super friendly, I definitely will have him return to do other work I need finished. Highly recommended!

My ex-wife and I owned a house that had old pipes and we were constantly calling plumbers to come fix the problem.  When I met Cal and called him to help me fix my problem, his estimate was higher than what I had been used to paying. When I questioned him on it, he said that the difference is that with him I pay once and get the job done right so it is much cheaper in the long run. And he was absolutely right. After he was done fixing the problem, we were truly done with it. So the reality is that while his initial outlay was a bit higher, the true cost was MUCH lower. Cal has integrity, knowledge and exceptional service. I have recommended him to many of my friends and clients and they all rave about him.

I called on Plumb365 to install a new shower valve and drain assembly on a recent bath remodel. Mike was on time for the appointment, went over in detail the scope of work involved and made a recommendation on a new style drain assembly that I was not aware of which will make clearing out the built in trap a quick and easy job when necessary. Porfirio wa súper profesional, he was on time and when we call him Friday around 7:30 pm he answered the phone right away.  He is super reasonable and friendly. I highly recommend!!!!! And really reasonable prices! Thank you Diaz pluming!

Jared Butler of Pipe and Plumb was the lead plumber on a bathroom addition I had done last year (2019,  Spring) and he was just the greatest. No only was the quality of his work excellent, he took the time to work with me so that the final product reflected exactly what I wanted. A great example of his abilities was that he saw that the hot water connection to the new bath from my existing heater could be improved, and after talking with me about it, he proceeded to figure out how to re-plumb with a new tankless system that has worked perfectly and saved me money on water and electricity.  He's super in all the usual ways, too:  prompt, clean, fair priced, and courteous.  I would definitely recommend his company (Pipe and Plumb) and will be using his services again.

External drain was draining very slowly, and with all the rain, water started to come into the house.  Called Xtreme Drainworks and they basically solved the problem.  Great communication and very knowledgeable. I really appreciated that their equipment was clean and they were very friendly.  If I have any issues in the future, I'll definitely be calling Xtreme again.

I used Just Plumbing when I had my bathroom remodel done. Tim did excellent work  and explained the process to me. I have recommended him to several friends who also were very happy with his service.

These guys arrived within the time frame and were in and out in 20 minutes! They left my sink and under the cupboard clean and i trust all is fixed. They were also very friendly and professional.

Fernando was awesome! Came out immediately and took the time to find all possible issues and then corrected them - no up charges, just great service.

Juan from Done Right is incredible and these guys are lucky to have him on their team. If they ever let him go, I hope he keeps my number because he would be my go-to plumber from here on out. The guy reminds me of my uncle, who is just such an honest, reliable, knowledgeable guy that everyone trusts do do a job right (did I mention HONEST)?
Juan was on time, friendly, and spent at least an hour and a half underneath my dirty, muddy ass crawlspace checking for leaks and piping issues that had led to major flooding and moisture issues under my house for god only knows how many months/ years. I had the plumbing issues fixed already a few months ago, so he was checking to be sure the moisture wasn't from some other plumbing issue. He found no leaks, took tons of pics for me, and walked me through it all. He even referred me and made the call to Floodbusters for me to have the moisture issue remedied, and hopefully covered by insurance. He has great connections and relationships, which is also helpful. Unfortunately for Done Right, I had no business to give them this round, but you better bet your booty that I'm giving them my future business and sending you fine people to them while they have Juan on board.
The receptionist/scheduler/dispatcher (a female) was also great, she was polite, personable, and communicative thoughout the process.

Joseph came out and fixed a pipe above our tankless water heater that was leaking into an outlet. He was here within 40 minutes late on a Friday night. He was very pleasant and finished the job within an hour. Definitely recommended!

Whew!  What a breath of fresh air from the previous plumbing company I used.  ( Rotor Rooter). Very reasonably priced and two of the best qualified plumbers.  Second time I used Guardian Plumbers.  The first time they actually zeroed in on the problem in practically less than five minutes.  I'm very very happy with their completed work!

I noticed a leak in our rental's garage near the water main which was also leaking on the other side of the wall outside our home. I made some calls and put out a project request on a Friday afternoon as businesses were closing for the day. The soonest return window I'd received was Wednesday next week.

I left for a few minutes and came back to Danny and his colleague switching off the main to my house to prevent further leaking and to help reduce the inevitable hit on our water bill. He explained how to operate the switch and was ready to diagnose the leak next day.

He was professional, proactive, and friendly. He let me know about a deal running through the weekend too, and we worked together to contact the homeowner and get the work started.

He came back Monday to evaluate the water main and Tuesday to repair. He installed a diversion line since the slab leak would have been a major operation. He was done within a few hours and restored water to our home.

Called late Thurs evening. Received service by 11:00 the next morning including picking up my new purchased WH at my local Home Depot. Service provider was quick and efficient and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!
