I have used Don Laidlaw for a number of plumbing issues.  He stands by his work and always does a fine job.  

The last time I used him I had a whole house water filter installed outside the house.  After he left we noticed a small leak that night and called Don back.

It turns out that when Don manipulated the pipe outside a small hairline crack formed inside the wall.

Don came back immediately the next day (which turned out to be Father's Day) and discovered, cut through the wall and fixed everything.

The thing that impressed me most was the quality of his cuts through the wall, the replacement of everything, and the initial work he did.

I know that he was excited about spending Father's Day with his kids and I respected that he took a part of that day and followed through to make sure the job was complete and of good quality.

When it comes to hiring a professional to work for you, you can't ask for more than that.

Ok at first and then turned not so good.  Chris addressed a leak issue in the kitchen drain that was tricky to access. After cutting holes in the crawl space ceiling, they needed to access it from the outside of the condo wall.  They patched the leak and I thought we were done with the problem.  Two days later our kitchen sink is backing up with debris, dirty water etc.. to the point that the pipe under the sink burst open and flooded the kitchen floor.  I called Chris twice, texted several times and finally he answered IN A TEXT with a very uncaring, hands off attitude.  Telling me it sounds like there's a backup somewhere... Yeah -- you think?!  He forwarded me some guy's name that could come snake drain and that guy couldn't get out to us.  After telling Chris how unprofessional he was, he offered to come out and connect the pipe.  I don't want anyone back in my house who clearly doesn't care.  Come to find out by a 2nd plumbing company that same day, that there was a pipe, about 10 feet long that was sagging terribly, where all the water was settling and getting stuck, causing the backup.  If Chris had just stuck his head into the hole that he had cut and further investigated, he would've seen this.  He misdiagnosed the root cause of the issue to begin with.  We are scheduled with another plumber to fix the actual cause of the problem now.  San Diego's Finest Plumbing,  NOT SO FINE.

Pipe Bros plumbers are reliable, honest, on-time, dependable. 

The plumber came out and fixed a pinhole leak fast.  The technician did a pressure reading and diagnosed other underlying issues with the piping at my house. The plumber also provided an estimate for water heater replacement and disposal of old water heater.

Pipe Bros plumbers are commendable and recommended for anyone in the area with plumbing service requirements.

We had a fantastic experience w/ Travis of Prescription Plumbing. He is the owner / operator, so you're not dealing with a chain or bigger company that doesn't care. He takes the time that's needed and is super knowledgeable. I only wish we had found him sooner! We did our homework and got about 3 other quotes. Not only was Travis the most affordable but he's the ONLY one my husband felt confident that he knew his stuff. Don't call anyone else for your plumbing needs, Travis is the best there is!

Cal has been our plumber for many years. He's reliable, very very competent, honest and leaves every thing clean.   We had a pressure regulator and three bathroom faucets replaced.   Cal did this while we were back east.  The day before I left, while emptying the bathroom vanity we realized the sink would most likely need to be replaced. I texted Cal and let him know the situation.  Authorized him to pick out a durable easy to clean sink.  He did.  Everything was installed and ready to go.   I trust Cal so much I didn't worry about plumbing problems while we were gone.

I paid for most of the work upfront since we weren't going to be here. Cal left a bill for the sink and installation.  I was pleased with the $225 bill for both.  It's great to have someone so trustworthy to call on.

Jerold came in and explained exactly what he was doing and why he needed to do it, I'm very understandable terms. Breathing a sigh of relief now because I wasn't talked down to in a time of need. Nothing to complain about !!!! He's just amazing, fast and focus on his job (he was here 30min after I called him, job was done in 10 min it was an in&out for $50 while I was just estimated by an other company an hour before for $216). No one can beat his price !!!

I have been a customer of Just plumbing for over 11 years. They installed all my kitchen appliances, including the kitchen sink. At my restaurant they replaced all the plumbing underneath the 1850's building. Installed  a grease trap. I call them for all my drain clearing needs.
Yesterday they came to the restaurant and replaced the faucet and sprayer. I had purchased all the items I thought I needed. Tim was able to save me a $100.00 by replacing some of the worn parts. They will help you to save money whenever possible.  I never worry about sticker shock when I get an invoice. Don't tell them, but it is usually less than I expect.

WOW!!! I AM INCREDIBLY IMPRESSED with the level of knowledge our technician James had!! Not only did he teach me the ins-and-outs of my kitchen sink and clear out drain (which I never knew existed), but he was also able to give recommendations on how to maintain the sink to avoid future clogs. Something I felt was genuinely respectable was that James also educated me on the rights of a renter (me) versus a homeowner/landlord as to who would be responsible for the financial costs of the kitchen sink maintenance, so I sincerely appreciate his honesty and shared knowledge. there's nothing like turning on your garb disposal only to have it make a racket, but to throw up a tooth.
I called Joe to get a quote. we agreed on the price. I went to Home Depot, picked up a new disposal. I let Joe know I had the new unit. he contacted me and said he'd be by after he completed his current job. sure enough he came to replace it even though it was after 5.
this is the 2nd time in as many days using his services. he prompt, reasonable. I highly recommend him.

We were in the market for a plumber for a bunch of work that we need to get done in our home.  Chris came by and spent over an hour at our place looking over every issue and explaining exactly what we needed to have done and went over prices with me.  The service that was provided was super helpful.

I noticed a leak in our rental's garage near the water main which was also leaking on the other side of the wall outside our home. I made some calls and put out a project request on a Friday afternoon as businesses were closing for the day. The soonest return window I'd received was Wednesday next week.

I left for a few minutes and came back to Danny and his colleague switching off the main to my house to prevent further leaking and to help reduce the inevitable hit on our water bill. He explained how to operate the switch and was ready to diagnose the leak next day.

He was professional, proactive, and friendly. He let me know about a deal running through the weekend too, and we worked together to contact the homeowner and get the work started.

He came back Monday to evaluate the water main and Tuesday to repair. He installed a diversion line since the slab leak would have been a major operation. He was done within a few hours and restored water to our home.

We just moved into our new house in Carlsbad and needed some plumbing work done. After reading Yelp reviews, we called Proactive Plumbing. They came out for a free quote. The price was fair and scheduled the work to be done.
True professionals from start to finish. Arrived on time, completed work in timely manner and cleaned the work area.
We found our plumbers ! And will be using Proactive again.

Great service, great price, great equipment, wonderful warranty.  I called him at 8:30, recieved a verbal quote over the phone, and booked him for an installation at 2:00PM. He texted me at about 1:50 to tell me he was enroute, then texted again at 2:00 to tell me he was in my driveway. He was very personable, and again explained the service and the cost to me. We shook hands, and he started the job. He and his equipment were clean and well organized. He showed the utmost concern for my property, did the installation in less than two hours and cleaned the area up to a level I have ever experienced from any tradesman. He explained the functions of the device to me, explained his extended warranty, shook my hand and left. He was probably the best serviceman I have ever worked with in any trade, and I have built a number of custom homes. I would reccommend him to anybody and everybody. When the best matters, look no further!
