Laidlaw is a local Borrego Springs Plumber.  They installed two faucet sets for us.  One we bought from another source had an issue.  Don Laidlaw took the faucet for repair and reinstalled it in perfect working order. Excellent follow up and service.

They did a great job.  Flexible with time constraints we had to fix the issue.

We woke up to a leak in the supply line to the water heater this morning. We reached out around 8:30am, and by 10am Titus was here where he immediately diagnosed the problem, and he was done and gone by 12pm. Totally great and reliable, and problem solved! Will keep these guys in mind, if there is a next time! Even more appreciated was that he was on time, and Evelin stayed in touch with me while we waited for him. Thank you!

My ex-wife and I owned a house that had old pipes and we were constantly calling plumbers to come fix the problem.  When I met Cal and called him to help me fix my problem, his estimate was higher than what I had been used to paying. When I questioned him on it, he said that the difference is that with him I pay once and get the job done right so it is much cheaper in the long run. And he was absolutely right. After he was done fixing the problem, we were truly done with it. So the reality is that while his initial outlay was a bit higher, the true cost was MUCH lower. Cal has integrity, knowledge and exceptional service. I have recommended him to many of my friends and clients and they all rave about him.

Jared Butler first worked on a bathroom remodel at our La Jolla home 10/18 installing a new toilet and replacing shower fixtures.  He was able to locate an unusual sized fixture that installed easily without having to tear into the tile and wall. In the summer 2019, he worked on a major kitchen/bath remodel on a rental house in Clairemont.  In the process, he discovered the old galvanized pipes were rotten and ended up replacing all the plumbing.  He handled this unexpected event in a professional, efficient and fair manner.  In addition, he installed many fixtures, garbage disposer, water filter, washer/dryer and tankless water heater on the outside wall freeing up needed inside storage space.  Another challenge of this Clairemont project was the fact that we were out of town for most of the project.  Jared kept good communication with us, accommodated our situation smoothly, and our absence was not a problem.  I highly recommend Jared for any of your plumbing needs and look forward to working with him again soon on another upcoming project.

Our washer drain clogged up during the weekend and I pretty much know it needs to be snaked like a couple of years ago. We have a stock of laundry to be done before the workweek and so we called a couple of plumbers on Yelp but nobody returned our calls. I almost gave up since it's almost Sunday midday and we finally gave another shot calling the next plumber on the list - Xtreme Drainworks. Much to my surprise, someone actually answered my call and I spoke to Jerry (not an answering service). He was finishing up his work somewhere in downtown and told us he will be here in 10-15 mins. And boy he was TRUE to his words. He spent adequate time diagnosing the problem and unclogged the sink and fixed the problem in 45 mins! He was polite and professional the entire time. And the price was reasonable for the work that he did especially on the weekend! That was even less than half the price we paid the last time! My husband and are impressed. We highly recommend Jerry and Xtreme Drainworks for fixing clogged plumbing systems. Call them and you will be satisfied with their service!

This is the place to go for your plumbing needs. I had a wet spot in the front yard. Called them after trying several other places and they answered right away. They worked with my schedule to get one of their plumbers to my house. Within 30 minutes he had found the leak. He had everything to fix the problem on hand and completed the repair in just a couple hours. Outstanding service and great people at this family owned and operated business. They get my highest recommendation.

These guys were amazing. They are now our go to plumbers. Our water heater stopped working overnight. Had to take a cold shower in the morning. Called Pipeline they were able to get someone out to take a look the same day. We were dreading the possibility of having to replace our water heater like several of our neighbors had.
The tech was able to diagnose the issue a sensor was bad. Was able to get use a paper clip so we would have hot water until the part came in. The total cost for repairs was only $155. Thank you Pipeline. I will be recommending you guys to all our neighbors

Fernando at AR plumbing is absolutely WONDERFUL. We had a leak from an upstairs bathroom down to our family room and kitchen. I called 5 different businesses and Fernando was the first person to say I can be over whenever you're home.   From the moment he came to our door he was polite, professional, competent with his profession and communicated the problems I had with the leak so I could understand how it happened, how he could fix it and what it would end up costing.  He encouraged me to contact my insurance company right away to make sure we were taken care of and if there was a different company the insurance company wanted us to use, to just let him know. Now let's talk about his workers. They showed up on time, every day and were very professional, polite and very hard working. I never felt like the job was dragging on or had doubts about the quality of workmanship. Fernando has very knowledgeable people on his team who were able to answer any questions I had and they would communicate my concerns with him so he was kept in the loop at all times. Such a great team! We had a small flood that led to us looking at the pipes. They replaced all our old copper pipes and even fixed the main line pipes that used to stick out in the front yard. From the moment we started the GM Juan was there. He explained everything thoroughly and was always at our disposal. James and Chad were always on time and professional. Joe and Anthony came out to check on a mystery leak in my house. They used a camera and good old fashioned detective skills to find my leak. As it turns out the furnace has a drain that was draining right into the furnace room!  They suggested I call the guy who installed my AC and it should be under warrantee. They offered to do the work if I couldn't get anywhere that way. It's good to know these guys were honest enough to tell me what was actually happening and that another professional would be the better option. I will definitely call them for future plumbing needs.

We needed hot water to a sink, just needed an undersink water heater. Accepted their quote because they got it to us the fastest - Got cheaper quotes, but AFTER this was already scheduled.

Anyways, it was a single lever faucet that we had.  They had to disconnect the lines to add in the new line from water, so presumably the fixture was just sitting there.

Asked, hey, can you connect this new fixture instead of the old one because we wanted a double lever faucet.  It was a nicer, brand new piece.  

So when I asked to do installation on this new faucet, I was  told that it would be an additional charge EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE SAME WORK, just on a different piece of hardware.  The old faucet wasn't even connected at this point, literally disconnected - so when it was reconnected, they could've just connected this other one - the same amount of time and effort, actually probably less since it didn't have wear and tear on it, no rust or salt build up, etc.

Felt like an unnecessary upsell and general bad business practice.  

They left and we're just swapping it out ourselves.  

Stars rating reasoning:
 Cost - Slightly higher than other bids, but reasonable in comparison to the others, although an hour of work to install a $200 part for over $1,000 total is still absurd.
 Speed: Super fast
 Professionalism: Terrible. I think it should've been included to do probably less work.
 Then when they were done, they left without someone come to double check the work. They told the front desk they were in a hurry.

I noticed a leak in our rental's garage near the water main which was also leaking on the other side of the wall outside our home. I made some calls and put out a project request on a Friday afternoon as businesses were closing for the day. The soonest return window I'd received was Wednesday next week.

I left for a few minutes and came back to Danny and his colleague switching off the main to my house to prevent further leaking and to help reduce the inevitable hit on our water bill. He explained how to operate the switch and was ready to diagnose the leak next day.

He was professional, proactive, and friendly. He let me know about a deal running through the weekend too, and we worked together to contact the homeowner and get the work started.

He came back Monday to evaluate the water main and Tuesday to repair. He installed a diversion line since the slab leak would have been a major operation. He was done within a few hours and restored water to our home.

Had the pleasure of hiring North County Water Heater Services to replace an old 50 gallon water heater with a new 50 gallon unit and a recirculation pump.
